Speaker 1 (00:01):
Shrock Innovations presents the midwest number one independent computer repair
company with service centers and Lincoln Paul mahaf a billion
des moines and across the country via the Shrock Desk.
This is Compute This.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Am I ready to talk on the radio? He askes,
Of course, I'm ready. Good morning, folks. This is the
Thors Schrock. I'm with the Shrock Innovations computer company, and
you're listening to Compute This. So we have a very
very busy show for you today, Lots of exciting stuff,
some local stuff actually, which is kind of rare. You know,
we have a lot of national computer and technology news,

(00:34):
but it's not too often I can bring you a
local story about something that's happening in real time and
be like do this just in this, just into the
Compute this news desk. So we've got a we got
a little story for you there today. But before we
get to that, let's get all the uh I don't know,
the t's crossed and the i's dotted, and the p's
and the q's set taken care of here last week

(00:55):
if you missed the program, it was a really cool show.
In fact, it's it's really funny how it was almost
prescient in it what we talked about. But last week
we reminded you about the sale going on right now
for Sofos security at Shrock. You can get that for
ninety nine dollars right now, which is forty six percent
off of the normal price. This is a sale. We

(01:15):
do the sofo sale this month of the year because
this month is the height of our slow season. So
what that means is we have less revenue this month,
and so you renew your anti virus annually. This is
going to be a topic of the program today. So
you want to people who buy antivirus renew it annually, right,
so next year when you're renewed, than in our slower

(01:37):
month next year, because the summer is always a slow
season for computer repair companies, in the summer, we'll have
a little bit of extra revenue because you'll be renewing
your antivirus. Right and it's only eighty bucks to renew it,
so it's not it's not one hundred dollars every year.
But you can add an additional device. You can get
a computer, it's ninety nine dollars. Mobile devices are even
cheaper at eighty dollars to add those. We recommend that

(01:59):
you have all of your mobile diviiblets, your phones protected
by Sofos as well as your computers. Why Sofos Quite simply.
I had some meetings with Sofas guys this week, and
I mean they're just internationally a top notch company, just
amazing to work with. Down to the local level, you know,
they're like, hey, Thor, why don't you come out and

(02:20):
have some beers with us and hit some balls at
top golf And I'm like, well, I don't golf, and
those of you who know me know I don't drink anymore,
you know what. I appreciate the offer, guys, but I
think I gotta go. I gotta go. I have to
go spend some time with my family. Yeah, that's what
it is. We can do breakfast tomorrow though, how about
some black coffee that'll work. But I was just an amazing,

(02:42):
amazing time with the Sofas team this week, just good stuff.
You know, we have a large client that is potentially
looking to migrate their services. We're talking like five thousand
end points guys. I mean, this is a this is
a big deal and you know, for security software, you've
got to keep them secure. You can't. You can't be
letting ransomware in the door and stuff like that. And
Sofos they said, listen, what do you need? Tell us

(03:04):
what kind of if they need someone to talk about
the technical capabilities of our emergency response deployment team that
we can deploy on Shark's behalf from Sofos Corporate over
six hundred malware researchers to help prevent or mitigate a
data breach. Oh my gosh, you're kidding me. Oh yeah,
that's just part of it. And you know the costs.

(03:25):
I was talking to another computer repair shop that I
consult with this week and I told him, you know
what Sofo's costs, and he's paying way more for what
he's using right now and getting way less service. It
just Sofos is absolutely amazing. Guys. I'm not going to
bore you with all the details, but it's on sale
now at Shrock till the end of the month here
for ninety nine dollars instead of the normal one hundred
and sixty. So it's definitely the time to move on

(03:47):
that if that's something that you want to do. We
also warned you last week about Chinese was no name.
Chinese Android powered devices that you may have purchased on
Prime Day, so you know Digital projectors, MINIPC, these junkie tablets,
they all have an app called black Box installed in
black boxes just sitting there waiting for a command and
control message to go attack somebody. And all your devices

(04:10):
that are just sitting on your network could be just
waiting to attack somebody. Not a good thing to do,
so be careful if you're buying no name Android powered
devices off of you know, Amazon, eBay, places like that.
We also told you about chat GPT's new agent feature
and some of the things that was capable of. I
wanted to play around with that this week, but you know,
events of the week conspired against me and didn't give
me much time to do the things that I wanted

(04:32):
to do as opposed to the things that I am
required to do. So I will endeavor to get to
that next week so I can share some information with you.
We also told you about a new service from Google
that actually allows you to robo call businesses. That's right,
so you can actually go to Google Search, search for
a term and say you type in the question I
want to know what the cheapest place to get my
nails done and you click check, and ladies it will

(04:55):
call every nail salon that comes up in Google and
be like, what is the price to get your nails done?
And they say, take me off your call list, leave
me alone. Well, then they just don't get the business,
you know. And if they say here's the answer to
the question, it's you know, how much does it cost
to get nails? I don't have my nails done, so
you know, I don't know. Let's just say, for the
sake of discussion, nails cost fifty bucks. I don't know.

(05:19):
So one place says fifty, one place says seventy five.
Then Google Search comes back to you and says we
have the results of your query. You come back and
take a look at them, and it has all the
different places in the area as well as the prices
to have your nails done. You can do this for
oil changes. You know, we're wondering, we actually want to
try this out. For computer repair, like you actually do
a Google search for on ourselves, you know, like where
is the best place in Omaha to get your computer fixed?

(05:41):
You know, the Best of Omaha voting is going on
right now, and we seem to have a lot of
people voting for Shrock Innovations because they want to win
that laptop at shroc innovations dot com. You know you can.
You can still do that, by the way. You can
go to shrock innovations dot com and there's a big
banner about the sofas thing there. Right underneath that, there's
a black banner that says win a free lap top.
If you click on that, all you have to do

(06:02):
is go vote in the best of Omaha. We don't
know who you vote for. We would hope you'd vote
for us, but you know, we have no way of telling.
It's a secret ballot. You got to vote for five
different companies, local companies before your vote counts. And then
there are some extra actions you can take if you
really really really want to win the laptop. You can
do some reviews, you can leave some Facebook comments, you
can do some cool stuff there to get some extra

(06:23):
entries in that contest as well. But yeah, so last
week's show is available if you click on the radio
show tab at the top of the website. Listen to
all the previous shows. Last week we had an aftershock.
This week, we will not be having one after the program,
so at the conclusion of the show. That's it. So
if you're looking for it and you can't find it,
it's because it's not there. So there you go. Fun
stuff there. Coming up on the program today, I got

(06:44):
some breaking news about a situation that is impacting West
Omaha and Elkhorn computer users that is resulting in their
bank accounts being drained. So we're going to talk to
you about what We've seen multiple people in the Omaha
service center coming in with THEIRS trying to figure out
how they got compromised, and so I'm going to share
with you some of the information that we have on

(07:05):
that today. Also, T Mobile has officially launched their satellite
cellular service. If you're a T Mobile subscriber, you could
get it for free. You do have to call Team
Mobile and say hey, I want it. If you're on
a more expensive plan with T Mobile, like a family
plan or something, then it might just be a perk
on your plan. So that's kind of cool. So we're
going to tell you what you can do with that

(07:26):
and why that's important if you wanted to check that out. Also,
last week I mentioned that we talked about the cool
new chat GPT agent feature and if you recall what
made this really cool was that you didn't have to
know how to code anything. You could link your Gmail
account and you could link your Dropbox account, and you
could say, go to my drop Box account and get

(07:46):
a list of these email addresses from this document and
send them all this email, and then it would link
up with your Gmail. It would access your document, it
would create the draft the email, and it would just
send an email to your customers, like you could do
your Christmas letter that way, you know, I mean, send
Aunt Bertha a letter and everybody, everybody gets a letter,

(08:07):
and make them all different so it looks like I
wrote each one individually because I care, you know, He
thanks chat GPT. At the end of the letter. It's
like inconclusion. You know, have you noticed that it always
says inconclusion in the last paragraph. I actually had to
tell my chat GPT not to ever say inconclusion ever,
just don't don't use that phrase. And it said, Wow,

(08:27):
you're weird. Okay. So there we have another story about
agents agents going awry. So somebody was trying to use
an AI agent to make his job easier and he
ended up the agent ended up deleting months of work
from the company databases just erased it and it said, oops, sorry,
I seem to have made a catastrophic mistake that we

(08:48):
can't recover from. I'm sorry that I destroyed months of
work in minutes. It actually apologized. I don't know if
that means anything. It knew it it made a booboo.
We're gonna tell you what happened there and why. While
AI agents are great, I don't know that you're gonna
lose your job tomorrow. Unless you're, you know, working for Microsoft,
then that's entirely possible. Also, a twitch streamer learned the

(09:12):
hard way why it is incredibly important to have a
good search protector on your computer. That's right, you know,
when you're wearing a direct link to your computer on
your noggin, bonker, and you get hit by lightning. Wait
a minute, you know how often have I said that
the search protectors in this studio look like they're from

(09:32):
the nineteen eighties, and they're all flickering and the lights
are burnout, you know, and I'm wearing headset on my
nog and Bonker. There's no rain in the area today,
so I'm sure we're fine as long as there's nothing
within five miles, you're usually okay. So, but we'll tell
you about the twitch guy dang Near gave himself a
heart attack because he got struck by lightning while he
was doing while he was doing a lam it on
live stream. Like literally, you saw the guy get struck

(09:54):
by lightning. I don't I don't know if he got
like electrified, you know how in cartoons like you can
see their bones first, plit second. I don't know if
it was like that, but we're gonna he did survive.
By the way, I'll let you know that up from
four zero two, five five, eight eleven ten is the
number to join us on the program if you're outside
of the metro area. Eight eight eight two five zero
two zero nine to one is the number to join us.

(10:15):
Of course, as we do every week, we'll be giving
away a twenty five dollars Shrock Innovations gift certificate to
one lucky caller person who contributes to the program by
asking a question, making a comment, doing something like that.
We'll get you in the drawing there as well. All right,
So getting onto this local news that that's kind of
breaking right now. Yesterday I got a message from Parker

(10:36):
who said, we currently have four customers in the Omaha
service center, all exhibiting the same symptoms we think of this.
I'm not going to name them because we're gonna keep
it classy here, guys, but this particular computer repair company
in Omaha may have been breached. And at first I misunderstood,
and I thought he meant these four customers had been breached.

(10:57):
You see, they all had money disappear from their banking
acounts from several transactions. They had no idea how the
money was coming out of their accounts, so they brought
their computers into the service center to have us evaluate them,
secure them, make sure they weren't hacked, that somebody wasn't
getting into their bank accounts. All the computers are running Bitdefender,

(11:17):
the MSP version of Bitdefender. So this is like when
I tell you their sofo's home and their sofos corporate,
and the corporate version is the one you're getting from
Shock because it's managed by Shock. This is the Bitdefender
managed version. This is the Bitdefender stuff that competes with
the sofos that we sell. All these computers are running
the same Bitdefender software because it was all installed by

(11:39):
the same company. Now this company no longer supports residential customers,
but of course, when you have subscription revenue rolling in,
why would you say no to that. So you spent
years selling this service to residential customers. If they're going
to renew and pay the renewal, you may as well
let them renew and keep being protected. And Bitdefender does
a decent job. It's not bad software. In fact, these

(12:01):
four people that came into the service center, we couldn't
find anything infecting any of their computers. Their computers were
completely clean. The only thing all four of them had
in common that we could find was that they were
all customers of this particular computer company. They all had
the same anti virus product that they were paying recurring

(12:21):
subscriptions for with a saved credit card, probably a debit card.
We didn't get into that level of detail. As you
might understand, people a little jumpy about us asking fiscal
questions right now about credit card numbers and such. So, yeah,
but money is disappearing from their bank accounts. So I'm
trying to be very tactful about this because I certainly

(12:41):
wouldn't want to misrepresent a situation if there is some
other explanation. We just can't find it. I don't want
to name and shame and docs and all that stuff.
I don't want. That's not the point of this. The
point of this is to say, if you have bit
deefender antivirus on your computer that you have paid for
from an Omaha computer repair company, check your bank account,

(13:02):
check for unauthorized transactions in your bank account. Just a
fair warning. There's nothing wrong with your computer. There's nothing
wrong with the antivirus software that you have. It's not
a compromise. It's not a bad guy hacking into your computer.
It's entirely possible that a bad guy hacked into the
systems of the computer company you bought that antivirus from,

(13:23):
and that's where your information was compromised. That's the only
explanation that we can come up with across the number
of people that we've had in there. This company, like
I mentioned, no longer services residential customers. They only do
business customers. Now, that's the trend in our industry. If
you want to build a business to sell, you don't
mess with the filthy masses. Nobody wants them, nobody's gonna

(13:46):
buy them from you. Nobody's gonna buy your business when
all you do have is consumer customers. That's just not
how life works anymore. They want those high roll in,
high falutant business customers that pay lots of money every
month and you don't have to really do anything. Everything
can be automated. You know. They don't ask stupid questions. Know,
they don't call into radio shows for zero, two, five, five, eight,
eleven ten and ask questions you know nothing. We don't

(14:06):
want those people now at Shrock. The Lovely Kimberly I
was telling her about this yesterday and she said, you
know what you need to do on the radio tomorrow,
And I said, tell me what I need to do
on the radio tomorrow, because she usually has really good ideas.
She said, you need to explain to people that we
love them and we're not going anywhere. We're not trying

(14:26):
to sell our business. We're not Our intent is to
provide you with award winning computer repair service until the
day I die, and we actually have a continuity plan
in place if that would occur, for the business to continue.
Because the Lovely Kimberly is like, I don't want to
run this, you know, but I have people that do
want to run it, and so the business will continue

(14:49):
after my unfortunate demise. So we are not going anywhere.
So when you purchase sofos from Shock or things like that,
we're not going to one day come around and say, hey,
we don't want you consumers anymore. Or you can come
in and you can work with us, but you're gonna
pay four times. You're gonna pay four hundred dollars for
a data transfer. Best Buy is now charging over three
hundred dollars for a basic data transfer. I bought a

(15:12):
new computer. I want you to move my files. That'll
be three hundred dollars please. I mean we're still doing
it for like one hundred and seventy bucks. Now there's
an advanced one that costs like two seventy. But that's
when we move your programs too. They don't even offer
that at these other places. So I mean, we are
here for consumers. That is that's where we started, that

(15:32):
is where our bread is buttered. Yes we do have
Shock business, and yes we do have business clients, and
we have MSP clients, and we do a very similar
thing to these other shops, where we have two different
tiers of service. The challenge, the difference, though, is we
can leverage the same solutions that we leverage for businesses
and give them to consumers, because why wouldn't you want
the same kind of protection for your computers that a

(15:53):
business gets. Now, what I don't understand is a business
that sells antivirus doesn't have the antivirus on their own system.
Maybe one of their vendors got compromised. I know that
Ingram Micro this month did get hit with a ransomware attack,
so it's entirely possible that this local company was purchasing
their Bitdefender licenses through Ingram Micro, which would explain how

(16:14):
their credit card might get exposed, but not your credit cards.
So that's the challenge. So I guess PSA today is
if you're getting if you're using Bitdefender, especially and you
bought your Bitdefender from a local computer repair company that
you pay every year for like a managed service, check
your bank account. If you are ready to move away

(16:36):
from a company that no longer provides residential service to
you anymore, then head on over to Shock. We're happy
to bring you in new customers. Get your first hour
of labor for free. Try us out. See if we're
a good fit see if you like us, and if
you don't like us, that's cool. You know, it's not
everybody's cup of tea. Some you know, man, some people.
Olivia had a person to come into the Omaha service

(16:57):
center the other day and would here, we have a
person that you meet who just doesn't want to be happy,
like nothing went wrong, nothing, would say they were just grumpy,
just and it was a woman. So there's a word
for that. And you know, I'm not going to go there,
but you know, and I'm not saying she went there.
I'm not saying that. I'm saying we love all the people.

(17:18):
All God's children have a place in the choir. It's
just that some sing low and some sing higher, if
you know what I mean. Four zero two five five
eight eleven ten eight eight two five zero two zero
nine one. Got to take our first break of the program, guys,
when we come back. T Mobile is launching their satellite
phone service through Starlink. Well not is launching. They have
launched it. It's available now. We're going to tell you

(17:39):
how much it costs if it's not free on your plan,
and how you can get it without switching your cell
service over to T mobile coming up next on compute this.

Speaker 3 (17:48):
Everyone has experienced some form of data loss or no
someone who has. It's unfortunate, but sometimes the technology we
rely on simply fails. And the last question you want
to hear at that time is you have a backup
Right when your hard drive, memory card, backup drive, or
flash drive fails, you turn to the data recovery experts
at Shrock Innovations to get those pictures, songs, and memories back.

(18:12):
You know, not all data recovery companies are the same.
Having the right tools and knowledge to get the job
done right on the first attempt makes all the difference
between a successful recovery and the permanent loss of your
important data. Sometimes you only get one shot at a
successful recovery. That's why Shrock has invested in top of
the line recovery imagers, a Class one hundred clean environment,

(18:34):
over ten thousand dollor components, and a staff of recovery
engineers that are the best in the business. Shrock has
a ninety six percent recovery rate getting data back from
failed devices. When the unthinkable happens and you need your
data back, turn to the experts at Shrock Innovations for
professional and affordable data recovery services.

Speaker 4 (18:54):
Shock Innovations can't tele important technicians to you, but online
help is only a click away with the Shock Desk.

Speaker 3 (19:04):
Laptops are subjected to some of the most stressful computing
situations imaginable. They get dropped, stepped on, slap shut, and
pushed until the battery dies. Sometimes your laptop works hard
for you, so when it has a problem, take it
to the laptop experts at Shrock Innovations. SHROC has four
convenience service centers the Nebraska and Iowa with more than

(19:24):
one hundred total bench spots to get your technology up
and running again. SHROC has the largest supply of replacement
components in stock, and we fix more laptops than any
other nearby repair center. Why wait weeks to get your
computer fixed when Shrock can diagnose the problem, provide you
with a friendly and accurate estimate, and fix it usually
in two days or less. Remember, if you have never

(19:46):
been into our service centers before, new customers get their
first hour of labor free, So the next time your
laptop screen gets cracked, the keys pop off your keyboard
or your two year old decides a glass of milk
is exactly what your laptop needs to cool off. Take
it to Shrock and let your local laptop repair experts
get it back in top shape again.

Speaker 2 (20:09):
All righty folks, welcome back in to compute this. My
name's Thor Schrock. I'm the owner of the Shrock Innovations
computer company. Wanted to let you know that at this
moment in time, all specials on the specials page have
been purchased. That's right, So there is no reason at
this moment in time for you to go to shroc
Innovations dot com and click on shop and specials. There

(20:30):
is not a reason to do it. However, I happen
to know that we have other specials that are going
up in the coming days. So on Monday, for example,
you might want to check it check back, or on
Tuesday you might want to check back and see what's there.
I know we have a couple different models that we'll
be putting up there. And oh, we're having such a
such a terrible time right now, guys. The Gallant model

(20:50):
that we normally carried went unavailable, and so we had
to get a new model, right and unfortunately, all the
new models were significantly more expensive, like one hundred and
fifty dollars cost more expensive on our end, but you know,
it is what it is. And you know, like they say,
you just got to eat the tariff, so you know,
we did, and so we didn't raise the price, but

(21:11):
we bought the better laptop. And we's like, well, at
least it's gonna be a really amazing laptop. At least
it's gonna the galant is gonna be like mh, I mean, oh,
beautiful stuff. And then that one went on available and
then it came back and it was two hundred dollars more,
and we're like, you gotta be kidding me, what is
going on here? I mentioned that Ingram Micro had a
data breach this month, and a lot ingram Micro supplies.

(21:33):
They're a distributor for all major brands like a SUS.
You don't just buy laptops from a SUS, you buy
them through a supplier like DNH or Ingram Micro. And
Ingram Micro got just shut down for like a week
and a half by a ransomware attack and no orders
were placed, and so weird availability things online in the
it world are happening right now. So we're hoping that's

(21:55):
part of it. Maybe we'll get them back here soon,
maybe not. But you know, we've ordered a lot of
different Galant laptops because we test each model before we
say this is the new Galant and so the ones
that you know, we get them in and maybe they're
locked in at sixteen gigs a RAM and we can
never add more memory. Well that that dog's not gonna hunt.
So we'll put that on the specials page for somebody
who wants a laptop with sixteen gigs a RAM. It's perfect,

(22:17):
and we'll discount it and put it up there and
someone will be really happy with their purchase. So it's
kind of a cool place where you can pick off
little one off items that we were testing or taking
a look at. We're actually testing holiday special laptop model soon,
so if you see some really really fancy ones pop
up there, then you know what's going on there. For zero, two, five, five,
eight eleven ten. Jim, Welcome to the program. How can
I help you on compute this today?

Speaker 5 (22:39):
Good morning. I have a couple of quick questions. One
I was in on Thursday to have a laptop and
a desktop. Oh God, with the preventative maintenance. Okay, perfect,
and believe I dropped it off in the Papillion store

(23:00):
and I believe it was Liam. Is it right name?

Speaker 2 (23:03):
Okay?

Speaker 5 (23:03):
Outstanding guy? Pay him more. Uh, he did an outstanding jobs.

Speaker 2 (23:10):
People keep saying that about Liam. People keep calling every
week and saying that about Liam. You guys are going
to inflate this guy. O.

Speaker 5 (23:16):
Well okay, well you know it is what it is.
Quick question. It's it's there my desktop. My wife and
I are going to be selling it. So I and
I actually sold the monitor to it. So now I
don't have a monitor for it.

Speaker 2 (23:34):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (23:35):
Is it possible for you guys to while it's there,
to get rid of everything but the operating software.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
Yeah? Absolutely. So basically what you're talking about doing is
as a factory restore, which we'll take it back to
like Windows eleven with drivers. Now, the second piece of
that is, you know, of course, if you just do
a factory restore on your computer, any data recovery guy
with or even with free data recovery software can go
back in there and recover all your files. So once

(24:02):
that data that restore is done, then we want to
do what's called a free space wipe and What that
does is it just it it's zero. It adds zeros
to all the free space on the drive so that
no files can be recovered from before you did the reset.

Speaker 5 (24:15):
Okay, great, So if I call on Monday and say
I want that done, they can do it before I
pick it up.

Speaker 6 (24:20):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
Absolutely. It's an hour of labor to do the basically
the factory restore and then the free space wipe. And
if if you like, they're actually going to be in
there today, Jim, it's going to be Corey today. He'll
be in there from noon to five on Sunday, so
you can call in there too, you know, because a
lot of the some of the maintenance checkup work is
actually work optimizing the operating system. So if we're just

(24:41):
going to restore the operating system, then there's no need
to do certain tasks of the maintenance checkup. You might
actually get it back a little bit faster.

Speaker 6 (24:48):
Well.

Speaker 5 (24:48):
I actually they already called me yesterday and said is ready.
I'm like, actually they emailed me, And that was the
other thing I was going to say. I think you
guys finally got my right email, because I've never got
to email from you all until that day. Even on
SOFOS in that. So, I don't know if it's just
somebody big fat fingered like I usually do on an

(25:11):
email address or something. But I blame you. I don't
blame Liam.

Speaker 2 (25:15):
That's all right, I'll take it. In fact, thank you
for the call, Jim. I appreciate you joining us on
the program here this morning. You know that was something
this week. We send an email about SOFOS at the
beginning of the month, and some people said, so I
didn't get the message, and I went and checked their
communications options, like did you unsubscribe from emails? You know?
Do you not want marketing emails? And most of the
people who didn't get the email were actually unsubscribed, and

(25:39):
so I'm not sure there are some automated automated services.
Now whenever you get an email that's a marketing email,
it just unsubscribes you from it, trying to lighten up
your inbox a little bit, and a lot of whenever
we send a mass email, you know, we get a
kind of a flood of unsubscribes. And that's fine. We
don't want to communicate with people who don't want to
hear from us. But now the problem is the new
system we're putting into place differentiates between promotional emails and

(26:02):
informative emails. So, for example, if we knew you were
a customer in West Omaha running bitdefender, we could send
you an email right now saying, hey, please check your
bank account. The place you bought your bitdefender from may
have been compromised you and may have lost your payment information,
and you may be having an impact here. But of course,
if we wanted to send an email like that and
somebody opted out of all emails, then you just don't

(26:25):
get the email. And so sometimes you want to opt
out of the promotional emails, but not the informational emails,
and so yeah, and then do you want to opt
out of We didn't have SMS messages back then, So
now if you're opted out of email, we also opted
you out of SMS because we figured you don't want SMS.
And if you don't want emails or SMS, you probably
also don't want robo calls, so we opted you out

(26:46):
of those as well. So now I think we're going
to redevelop that entire revamp that entire section, so you
can unsubscribe from each thing individually in your Shock account.
But hopefully we got y'all taking care of it. Sounds
like you're getting the emails now, so that's good stuff
there for zero, two, five to five, eight, eleven, ten,
and real quick before we jump into the break, guys,
Team Mobile has their satellite Starlink Internet or not Internet
cellular service up and running. Essentially how this works as

(27:09):
you use regular cellular service until you drive into a cellhole.
A great example list is when my wife and I
went to Yellowstone. There in the National Park in Yellowstone.
It's not just that there's no cell service, guys. There
is no AM radio, there is no FM radio, there
is nothing. There is no signal of any kind. Like

(27:32):
the only signal out there is the Ranger radios and Roger.
You know. That's it. So if you were in that
area and say the road washed away kind of like
what happened a couple of years ago, and you're like, oh,
I should probably call for help, but I can't because
there's no cell coverage. If you have T Mobile satellite
enabled on your phone, your phone would pick up with

(27:53):
a satellite signal and you can call from anywhere on
the face of the planet. It means also people can
call you while you're yellow Stone trying to get away
from everybody. But you can always put your phone on
do not disturb if you don't want to get calls. So,
if you have an expensive Team Mobile plan, if you
pay a lot for your plan, chances are this is
a perk. You just have to call Tea Mobile and say, hey,
I want that added, and if it's a zero dollar item,

(28:14):
they'll just add it to your account. It's all done
through an electronic sim. So everything that's like an iPhone
fifteen or higher and all the modern Android phones do
use electronic sims as opposed to physical sim cards, and
the electronic sim can be programmed remotely and then boom,
it's just enabled on your device. Now, if you have
a less expensive plan that you don't pay a lot for,

(28:35):
you'll probably have to pay about ten dollars a month
to have this satellite feature enabled. So my suggestion here
is if you're going to go on a vacation to Yellowstone,
enable it, and then when you're done disable it, you
pay pay ten you'd pay ten bucks. You're gonna pay
more than that to get into the park, Okay, so
pay ten bucks that you can call for help if
somebody you know, Billy breaks his leg, you can call
for help. Okay. The other thing is you may not

(28:55):
have TEA Mobile. You may be Verizon or AT and T,
and those companies don't have their agreements in place and
their service is set up yet for satellite internet. But
T Mobile is willing to support you because, as I mentioned,
it's the installation of a second electronic sim. So what
they can do is they can use that secondary electronic
sim card ability of your phone to install a T

(29:16):
Mobile electronic sim alongside your AT and T or a
Verizon so that when you're on cellular, you're still using
your AT and T or Verizon or whatever plan you have.
But then if you get into a situation where you
need the satellites coverage, it'll switch over to the secondary
sim same you know, it'll have a different phone number
and things like that obviously, but you'll be able to
call for help. So there are some but you have

(29:38):
to go into a T Mobile store to get that enabled.
You can't do that over the phone. So if your
T Mobile call, and if you're not, you can go
into a T Mobile store and they can enable that
for you. If it's something you'd like to do. With
your mobile device four zero two five five eight eleven to.
T Mobile did not pay for this message, but they
probably should have. That was a good ad for them.
I really at a you know, ava add a note
to my calendar. Call T Mobile and get a sponsorship

(30:00):
zero two five to five eight eleven ten. We don't
have no stinking sponsorships here, all right. We werena we
were going to take a break because the only sponsor
of this program is Shrock Innovations. They're a great company,
by the way. The guy that owns it's kind of
a schmuck, but you know, good good stuff, good people,
that liam guy grade A. But when we come back
from the break after we know just shamelessly promote the

(30:20):
heck out of Shrock Innovations AI agents. We talked about
this last week on the program, how awesome it's going
to be and how it can do everything for you
and this is the solution to all of your world's problems.
That's what one coder thought this week until it deleted
the entire company database. Worse yet, it had explicit instructions

(30:41):
to be in read only mode. So not only did
it disobey explicit instructions, it then permanently deleted a bunch
of data and then said, I'm so sorry. I know
I caused you like immense catastrophic problems here, but yeah,
my apologies. I disobeyed you. I'm sorry. It's like raising

(31:06):
a child. But we're gonna tell you what happened to
this guy and how he was able to come back
from this. It lied after it apologized, So it's really
interesting stuff. How the AI agent tried to cover its
tracks kind of like a human. We're going to tell
you all about it coming up next on compute this.

Speaker 1 (31:18):
Remember the good old days when virus detection worked like
where's Waldo? Spot the virus and the striped shirt and
you win. Today's infections are changing hourly to avoid detection
and use social engineering to trick you into making mistakes.
Using yesterday's security to defend against today's threats is like
using leeches to stop an infection. It just doesn't work.

(31:41):
We recommend Sophos intercept X anti virus backed by Shrocks
Virus Free Guarantee. SOFOS uses the power of AI to
detect the patterns of a virus attack and responds with
shock's custom actions that stop it fast with Sophos on
your PC, Mac, Android, or iOS device. You get the
state of the art protection you need to defend against

(32:03):
the most advanced attacks out there. In fact, if your
device gets a virus while running Sofos antivirus, Shock will
remove it for free. Guaranteed it hasn't happened yet and
we intend to keep it that way. Ditch your dad's
anti virus and keep your device, data and identities safe
with Sofos and Shock innovations.

Speaker 4 (32:23):
If you can dream it, Shock Interactives website developers can
make it happen. Refresh your website, automate sales and marketing,
and grow your business today with Shock Interactive.

Speaker 3 (32:32):
You know your computer needs modern antivirus, and you know
using a VPN helps protect your identity online, But did
you know that all of that protection could be useless
if you're running outdated programs. We all run common free
software like Adobe Reader, Dropbox, Firefox, and Chrome every day.
There are critical security updates for these common programs that

(32:53):
don't get automatically installed for up to two weeks. That's
an eternity in today's world. That's why Shrock created Secure Updator.
Secure update checks for and installs these critical updates every
eight hours, boosting your antivirus by closing off attack vectors
before they can be used to penetrate your computer. Go
to secure updater dot com and try it for free.

(33:14):
We are so confident in our product we don't even
ask for a credit card to start the trial. Go
to secure updater dot com today and start your fourteen
day trial and enjoy having the peace of mind that
your software is being updated quickly and safely. You will
be shocked at the number of programs that are out
of date on your PC. Right now, get your fourteen
day pre trial at secureupdater dot com.

Speaker 2 (33:44):
All right, guys, welcome back into compute.

Speaker 4 (33:46):
This.

Speaker 2 (33:46):
My name is Thor Schrock. I'm the owner of the
Shrock Innovations computer company where we sell computers, we fix computers,
we handle business services. In fact, we had a client
in uh, there's either remember where it was. It was.
I want to say des Moine, but I'm not. I
don't want to miss quote. But anyway, we had a
client came to us. They were with another provider, and

(34:08):
this other provider was charging them one hundred and seventy
five dollars per end point, so per computer per month
to have support on their computer, and they were literally
doing nothing. It was all automated tools and stuff like that.
And then you know, if you called for help, you know,
it would be a seventy two hour response time where
they'd call you back with it. That doesn't mean they
fix it in seventy two hours. That means they call

(34:29):
you back within seventy two hours. And so they decided that,
you know, they heard the radio show. They said, Okay,
Thor keeps saying it's cheaper at Shock. Well, you know,
let's at least look into it. It's tied its budget time,
let's look into it. And so we walk in the
door and we're like, yeah, you know, how much is
it at Shock And we're like, yeah, it's four hundred
and seventy five dollars per end point. And then they're like,
holy cow, that's more expensive never mind, and we're like no, no, no, wait,

(34:52):
per year, not per month, per year. And then if
you call us and you need us to re of
course we do all the same automated stuff, but if
you need individualized attention, it does cost one hundred and
seventy dollars per incident, doesn't matter how long it takes
us to solve the incident, or how many technicians we

(35:13):
have to bring in to solve the incident. It's one
hundred and seventy dollars to make the problem go away.
And that way you have the control of do I
want to call somebody in, do I want to do
I want to try to solve this myself. As a
small business, especially, you have the option to do different things,
so you can keep your costs as low as you want,
or you can have as few headaches by just handing

(35:33):
it all off to Shock. And they were like, you
gotta be kidding. This is amazing. And then the sofas
is one hundred and sixty bucks. That's it, and that's
the business grade. Like yeah, well everybody gets the business grade,
even the consumers get the business grade. So yeah, it's
it's good stuff. And so they ended up signing with
us and we brought on, We brought ten end points
on with that client, and guys, we have a Shock

(35:55):
businesses just doing amazing work. So yes, we win Best
of Omaha and Best of Lincoln and Best of sarp
County and this year we won Best of Des Moines too,
so that's awesome. So thank you for your votes, and
I appreciate your votes in the current Best of Omaha
competition that's going on right now. But Shock business is
also helping the businesses that help you to make sure
their technology works well and they don't get compromised and

(36:18):
lose your information. Speaking of which, I just want to
recap really quick. If you are in the Omaha area
or the Elkorn area, which is kind of the same
thing now, but the West Omaha Slash Elcorn area, and
you purchased your antivirus you're a bit defender, and you
purchased it from a local computer company, it is possible
that your banking information has been compromised. This is not

(36:40):
a shock thing. It wasn't us. We don't sell bitdefender,
but we're seeing you come into the service center with
Bitdefender from this company and saying, hey, I want to
find out how I got hacked because my bank account's
been compromised. And we can't find any hacks on any
of the computers coming in. They're all sealed up tight.
The bitdefender is doing its job, so the leak happened
somewhere else, and the only thing we can find that

(37:01):
all these people have in common is they all bought
their anti virus from the same local company. So my
guess is that local company got compromised in some way
and was improperly storing credit card numbers. So long story short,
check your bank accounts. There's nothing you can do if
you're compromised aside from notice it and then file the
appropriate disputes as quickly as possible. If you'd like to

(37:22):
move off of bitdefender and get onto sofos instead so
that you don't have your information with that company anymore,
we can totally do that for you. And it's on
sale right now for forty six percent off, so it's
kind of a convenient time to do that for zero two, five, five, eight,
eleven ten. Stoosie, Welcome to the program. How can I
help you on compute this today?

Speaker 6 (37:39):
Okay? I have like this that you put in your
little stepholder on the side that you know that I
don't have on my computer anymore.

Speaker 2 (37:49):
Oh gotcha? Yeah?

Speaker 6 (37:50):
And like Madam Football or Maden Football.

Speaker 2 (37:54):
And I've never played Madam Football.

Speaker 6 (37:59):
I know I didn't either. I never loaded it on
my computer, but I still have the clean house. Have
I found all these things? Are they worth anything or
just can anybody use them or are they just throw
away material?

Speaker 2 (38:13):
Great question, So the short answer is throw away material.
No one's going to buy them. With that said, we
had somebody come in and recycle like it was. It
was the most amazing recycle ever. The guys were fighting
over they were people were my employees were offering to
buy it from me because somebody came in and dropped off. Basically,
it was like a Commodore VIC twenty or something like that,

(38:34):
but it was brand new in the box and it
had all the software was brand new and still shrink
wrapped and the tape drive. I mean everything was brand new,
like somebody bought it from a store like fifty years
ago and then just stuck it in the attic, didn't
open it, didn't do anything with it. I mean, this
is like old they call it old new stock. And
it was like, oh my gosh, this is you don't

(38:56):
want to open it. But if you're a collector of
this kind of stuff, this is this is like a
priceless treasure trovee. So if you can find the right
person and it's you know, unopened and they collect vintage
video games or something, then yeah, maybe they give you
five bucks for it, but you got to find the
right person. I mean, if you want to put it
in a bucket, throw it up on Facebook marketplace for
ten bucks and see if somebody wants to, you know,
low ball you at two. You could do that, but

(39:19):
you're probably just gonna end up tossing it, to be honest.

Speaker 6 (39:21):
But you know, it's another thing. Another thing I have
is an old garment. What do you do with those?

Speaker 2 (39:30):
We recycle them for free. Yeah, again, the old dog.

Speaker 6 (39:36):
You would recycle that, Oh.

Speaker 2 (39:37):
Absolutely, bring it all in, drop it off. Will take
care of anything computer related, we recycle it truck. So
the only thing we charge for our printers and monitors.
So if it's got a screen, like a big screen,
like we don't mess with you know, cell phones and
tablets and stuff like that are fine. But if it's
got a big screen, or if it's a printer, we
have to charge it nineteen dollars. Otherwise everything else is free.

Speaker 6 (39:56):
But you will redoce the garments, Oh absolutely, yeah, we'll
take the garment for you and.

Speaker 2 (40:02):
You'll take that and recycling.

Speaker 6 (40:04):
Yeah, I didn't know whether just just throw that stuff
in the treasure you know.

Speaker 2 (40:09):
Yeah, the maps are probably pretty old in that garment.
There's probably a lot of new streets since the last
time nothing was updated.

Speaker 6 (40:15):
Yes, yes, yes, okay, well you'll probably be getting that
next time I come to Lincoln.

Speaker 2 (40:21):
All right, thank you, Susie. I appreciate the call today.
All right, See it's that easy, guys. Four zero two
five five eight eleven ten eight eight eight two five
zero two zero nine to one, Greg, welcome to the program.
How can I help you on compute this?

Speaker 6 (40:34):
So?

Speaker 7 (40:34):
I turned my computer on this last week and had
a big The whole screen was covered with a notification
from Microsoft that the UH tried to update my computer,
but it's not compatible. I'm wondering. I don't mind buying
a new computer, but it is. Can my computer be
updated to take the eleven? Or do I need to
buy a new one?

Speaker 2 (40:55):
Sure? Greg, where did you buy your computer from? Or
what brand is it?

Speaker 7 (41:00):
Well, it's some off the wall thing, but you guys
have worked on him many times and up that's all.

Speaker 2 (41:05):
Right, as long as it's not like a Dell. As
long as it's not a Dell and HP something like that.
If it's a custom built computer, then we can do
a core upgrade.

Speaker 7 (41:13):
I think, I don't know the guy's out of business
that I bought it from, but it I can't even
remember what it is.

Speaker 2 (41:23):
That's all right, if you bought it from a guy
who's now out of business. That's a custom built computer,
so we can definitely do a core upgrade on that.
And what that means is we would replace the motherboard,
the processor, and the memory, so everything else stays the same,
the power supply, the case, the drives, all the data,
everything else stays the same. We replace those three components
and then we have the discounted pricing packages for Core

(41:43):
upgrades because they're pretty popular right now with Windows ten
dying off here in October. But yeah, we could. We
could definitely help you out with that over a truck,
so we just bring that into the service center anytime.
Tell us you know, hey, I'd like a quote for
a core upgrade and we'd be happy to take care
of you on that, all right, Thank you, hey, thank you, Greg,
And I've got you in the drawing as well. Here
for a twenty five dollars Shrock Innovations gift certificate, could

(42:06):
take the could take a little of the edge off there.
That's kind of nice, all right, four zero, two, five, five,
eight eleven ten is the number to join us. So
last week I spent quite a bit of time talking
about AI agents and the new AI agent feature from
chat GPT, for example, because previous to that, if you
wanted to use an AI agent, if you wanted to
do that, you had to make one. You might recall,
like some of the video clips that you see on

(42:27):
Facebook of the radio show. We had to have an
agent created to make those clips. So the AI agents.
There's a company that makes these agents called Replit Replete,
replit rap lit, reptile lit. I don't know, so anyway,
they make AI agents, and one of their agents went
rogue this week and there was all over the internet

(42:48):
because a software developer was using this agent to assist
him in developing code for a company. And the AI
agent had specific instructions. For example, Number one, it was
in read only mode. It was not supposed to actually
change any information in the database. You can access the database,
but stay and read only mode. Don't change it, don't

(43:11):
delete it, don't touch it. Number two, we're going to
put you into a status called code and freeze. What
that means encoding is you're gonna write some code, but
you're not going to execute it. You're going to let
me review it before you execute it. You're going to
code it and you're going to freeze. I'm going to
review it and then we can execute it. So all
these protections were in place. These are standard operating procedure

(43:34):
things for working with an AI agent, Like this is
how you're supposed to do it. So the AI agent
then went on to not only directly access the database
and then delete the database, which is obviously a right action.
You know, that's an end in execute, like, you don't
want to do that. It also, excuse me, it also

(43:57):
ran code that it was not supposed to run because
it was supposed to code and freeze, but it ran
the code, and then when it realized it made a mistake,
it tried to recover the mistake so it didn't have
to tell the human about it. But unfortunately it reported
back that it's made a catastrophic error and there was
no way to recover from it. And so what ended
up happening is the AI agent literally deleted a database

(44:19):
that contained months and months and months of work from
a company. So imagine you go to work every day,
everything that you type into a computer is saved in
a database somewhere. Now imagine you go in and everything
you've ever typed in ever to the database is gone,
and you have to start over from scratch. On day one,
phone rings, someone calls and they say, I'd like to
know about this, that or the other on my account,
and you're like, you have an account with us, good

(44:41):
to know. Can I get your email address please? And
your phone number and your address and you're rebuilding this
database from scratch. That's what this AI agent did. It
deleted everything. Luckily, the human being was able to go
in and say, we have backups for this reason and
say let's go find the local backup and restore the
law backup. Luckily or unluckily, the AI agent said it

(45:03):
was unrecoverable. So it's possible the AI agent didn't know
about the backups, which is probably a good thing because
it might have deleted those two. You never know, so
you know, don't tell the AI agent there's a backup.
The AI agent did apologize, though, it apologized profusely for
taking unauthorized actions that led to a catastrophic mistake. That's

(45:24):
what it said. I apologize I took unauthorized actions that
led to a catastrophic mistake and I destroyed months of
work in moments. So a cautionary tale that AI, while
very very useful and potentially very powerful, does have the
capability of going off the rails and doing things that
you don't want it to do. For zero two, five, five, eight,

(45:48):
eleven ten number to join us on the program, We're
going to take our final breaker, guys when we come back.
Everybody knows, you know, we sell search protectors at Shock,
and we put them on sale once in a while.
People buy them. You're supposed to hook them up and
use them. Most people don't know when to replace their
surge protector. They just there's there's a power strip back there,
I think behind the TV, behind that giant oak thing. No,

(46:10):
my desk came with one built into it. I bought
it from the martin nineteen eighty two and it came
with a power strip built into it, and that's protecting
me from surges. So we're gonna we're gonna hit the
common surge protector myths first and then I'm gonna tell
you about a Twitch streamer. Now. Twitch is a service
that video game guys use to stream themselves playing video games.
And I know a lot of you are like, who

(46:31):
would watch that? And honestly, you'd be shocked. There's a
lot of people that watch Twitch a lot, so especially
if you're trying to crack a game. You know, remember
when you were playing Super Mario Brothers and you were
trying to figure out what pipe got you to warp
to level nine because you just couldn't get there through
the levels that the aquatic world was just awful and
so and you can still hear the music, so anyway,

(46:52):
you just if you could watch them. If YouTube would
have been around back in the in the nineties, you
could have watched a video that showed you how to
warp to nine. You had to go buy the guide
at the at the bookstore at the mall, the little
cheat guide that showed you how to do it, you know,
in pictures. So now there's YouTube videos and Twitch videos
that people can watch and learn and develop techniques and
become better e gamers. Things like that. This dude was

(47:14):
streaming on Twitch and literally got struck by lightning live
on camera. So this is what happens when you get
struck by lightning and you're directly wired to your computer
we're going to tell you what happened to this guy
coming up next on compute this.

Speaker 3 (47:28):
There are enough unused computers in storage to give every man,
woman and child in the US and old, outdated and
useless computer system Obsolete tablets and smartphones are nearly as bad.
Most people know not to throw them into the landfill
where they leak and contaminate, but it's hard to find
a place to safely recycle electronics. That's why Shrock Innovations

(47:48):
offers free recycling for computers, laptops, phones, tablets, cords, and accessories.
In fact, only monitors and printers have a small recycling fee.
Everything else is free. More important link, Shrock will securely
delete any data from your devices and hard drives before
they are sent to a certified recycling partner, who will
then repeat the wiping process just to be saved. When

(48:10):
you recycle your old technology at Shrock, you know your
identity and privacy are protected and your equipment is being
actually recycled by a certified recycling partner. Shock is proud
to recycle more eWays than we produce annually, making a
positive difference to our economy and ecology. Do your part
by dropping your old gear at any Shock service center

(48:31):
and be part of the area's largest and most popular
technology recycling program with Shrock Innovations.

Speaker 4 (48:38):
Drive Advisor is a free program from Shock Innovations that
monitors your hard drives health and tells you if it's
going bad. Download it for free at drive advisor dot com.

Speaker 2 (48:49):
Speaking of drive Advisor, we have an update there for you. Yeah,
we fixed the bug with the update feature. Everything is great.
We ran it on a desktop. We were able to
sign the application without security warnings errors. Gave us perfect
information on the desktop computer. Went to test on the
laptop computer. It won't run on laptops. We're like, you've

(49:10):
got to be joking to coders, like I'm working on
it right now. We think it's the battery detection feature,
monitoring the health of your battery. For example, the computer
that I'm running the aftershock on right now has been
plugged it or the after shock the compute this program on.
Was it forty two percent when I plugged it in,
and it's now up to forty four percent. I think
I have a bad battery. In an hour, you should
get more than two percent of a charge for zero, two, five, five, eight, eleven,

(49:33):
ten number to join us on the program. We we're
talking about the specials page over at Shock. I mentioned
there's no computers up there right now. Be patient, guys.
We're going to have some more computers coming up on
the specials page here in the next couple of days.
So make sure you check out Shock Innovations dot com
click on shop and specials. Also, you can watch all
the previous radio shows and last week's after Shock if

(49:54):
you missed it, where we gave you the summary on
the Epstein situation and we just broke down Barney style
and explained this is what's gonna happen, guys, I mean,
just then, this is why it's gonna happen this way,
and you can be as mad about it as you want,
but they're gonna change nothing. So we went through all
that for you this week. There is no aftershock, so
there will not be one after the program today. We'll

(50:15):
be back with the Aftershock again next week. All right,
So we sell sarch protectors at Shrock and they're about
sixty bucks. They're really high quality search protectors. They have
USB ports on them, they have power ports on them obviously,
like you know outlets in Nebraska or Iowa we have
temperature variances as you will experience today that can go

(50:40):
all the way from negative forty degrees in the winter
all the way up to one hundred and twenty degrees
plus in the summer at times. Especially if you if
you don't believe in real if you don't believe in
gen X temperatures, and you're more of a real feel
kind of guy, you know, one of those gen Z
real feel people. The real feel outside is going to
be hot, hot, hot, hot, So don't mow today. That's

(51:03):
why I was gonna mo today. My wife's like, don't
mo today. I'm like, oh, twist my arm. Okay, I
wan't mo. It's gonna be too hot for the grass.
It's the grass, you see. We don't want to hurt
the grass. So no mowing. But when you put a
surge protector in in Nebraska and Iowa, guys, you need
to replace it. I mean minimum every twenty four months annually. Now.
We used to have these audible alert ones that would

(51:25):
beep when they when they were fried. Those were great.
They don't make them anymore, so we can't get them anymore.
And then you know, there's different grades of SARGE protectors.
Like they have jewels of protection, and the more jewels
you have, the more shocks you can absorb before the
unit is completely zapped and then no longer able to
protect you. The last little thing I'm gonna let you know,
it doesn't do any good to daisy chain surge protectors,

(51:47):
so you can't hook. You can't double your protection by
plugging one into the other. Doesn't work that way, you
fry them both at the same time. Essentially, it doesn't stack.
Number two. If you do not have a grounded outlet
in your house, if you're using one of those adapters,
you may as well not even use a surge protector.
It has to have a ground because it has to
have somewhere to send massive surges because there's no element

(52:10):
inside the search protector that's going to absorb you know,
Zeus's lightning bolt. You know it's not gonna get absorbed
or right, So it's got to have a place to
send that it sends it to ground. If you don't
have a ground post installed in your outlet and wired
to like a cold water pipe in the house, or
if you just I'll be a big brain, I don't
like those adapters. I'll switch the outlet and just not

(52:31):
hook up the ground wire. Ah, I'm smart if you
did that, fix it, because your surge protectors aren't doing
any good at all. So this dude is streaming on Twitch,
and you know, he's talking about, you know, blah blah
blah blah blah, video game stuff, blah blah blah blah blah,
and then all of a sudden, there's a white flash
behind him. I don't know how his camera was still

(52:52):
on because there was a white flash behind him. He
suddenly reaches up, grabs his headphones, throws them off his head,
and jumps back like you've ever seen someone like jump
out of a chair so fast they knock it over. Well,
his was on wheels, so it just rolled back. But
he flew out of his chair and then he crept
back into the frame of the camera and like bent
over and looked. He says, what just happened. Lightning had

(53:17):
struck five feet outside the window of the room he
was in and had traveled through the power lines into
the computer, into his headphones and into his skull, and
he got a little tingle tingle on the ears. So yeah,
he got a little brain jump. He said he was
going to update everybody if he gets superpowers. Uh, that's
kind of funny, but make sure you update your Surge Protectors. Susie, congratulations,

(53:41):
you got yourself a twenty five dollars Shock Innovations gift certificate.
We'll get that out to you on Monday, and we'll
see everybody else next weekend for another edition of Compute
