the birthdays, we got the porno birthday h this morning
and Chef Sea Bass preparing a special turkey.
Speaker 5 (01:35):
I think I'm surprised, but I think I maybe the
first person in the world to prepare a turkey like this,
which I agree.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
I haven't told anybody else what it is, so don't
don't spoil the surprise.
Speaker 5 (01:44):
I looked at I googled it real quick, and I
saw that no results for it being done before, which
means you guys will be the first to taste.
Speaker 3 (01:50):
Ye. Yeah, prepared like this.
Speaker 4 (01:53):
All right.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
So that's that's on the show again. Anything you want
to be part of, call in, text in, find this,
follow us on social media. Look forwards there at the
Woodi Show. And with Thanksgiving less than two weeks away,
it's less than a week away. Next thing next week,
it's a week from tomorrow. Did that come from Thanksgiving?
Speaker 6 (02:12):
Is?
Speaker 3 (02:14):
Yeah? So with all the different people getting together, although
you know, Greg is looking to avoid his family over
the holidays for Thanksgiving, not for Thanksgiving, but just in general.
You get enough family that still up in the air.
What the Christmas thing? No Greggs, Yeah, Greggs Christmas, Christmas,
it's still up in the air. I'll talk to them
next week. Yeah. Yeah. He's gonna wait until he sees
(02:36):
them face to face, so he wants to see their
disappointment in person, to see the moment their heartbreak I
feed off their disappointment. So this is one of those
people were asked who are the most annoying people at Thanksgiving?
And so number one. U. These are in no particular order,
per se, but just the most annoying people in general. Yeah,
the types of people so like they felt sickness coming
(02:58):
on for days, but it just never occurred to them
to stay home because you know, you got everybody who's
going to be there, and it just wouldn't be it
wouldn't be Thanksgiving without their presence.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
You know what.
Speaker 7 (03:08):
Well, kids are always sick.
Speaker 8 (03:10):
They're coffing in your face and running noses.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
Kids are one thing I think the adults, the adults
showing up who know better? Yeah, kids are all Look,
you just got to assume you're getting sick of. Kids
are around dishes. Yeah, exactly. Uh the aggressive salter. I
would put my father in this category. Yes, yeah, And
I'm not the one preparing the dish. I'm like, dude,
(03:33):
don't you want especially if you go out to a
like his favorite is Texas Roadhouse. And this is not
a knock against Texas Roadhouse, but like when you go
to a place like that, you know they're known for
being you know, heavy on the salt, the sugar. When
you when you go to place like that, there's a
lot of that stuff in there, because that's what makes
(03:54):
the food taste. You might want to taste it to
make sure you, you know, put even more salt on there.
Speaker 9 (03:59):
He's aggressively salting its own plate. That wouldn't annoy me.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
I'll know why you do it. It doesn't annoy me. That's
the wrong word. It's just I don't perplexus. Yeah, Like, dude,
why don't you taste it first? Because like sometimes you
ever have that, it's already too salty.
Speaker 7 (04:12):
As it is, and now you can do about it.
Speaker 3 (04:14):
Yeah, anyway, because especially when you go over to someone's
place and they've prepared the meal, I could see where
that would be in salty because they've spent all this
time salting. Yeah, I get it. Yeah, it was not
healthy either.
Speaker 5 (04:25):
Like I was watching Sopranos, it strikes you that he'll
get a sandwich and Tony Soprano will just be dumping
salt on a turkey sandwich.
Speaker 3 (04:33):
He needs something to do with his hands, so good
the foody. It's an annoying person because just it's all
about them, their their globe trotting experiences over multiple Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving because they'll they'll one up be in no matter what. Yeah,
anybody who wears Sammy you might be one of these people.
Anyone who wears a Christmas sweater to Thanksgiving?
Speaker 10 (04:53):
No, I wear Thanksgiving clothes on Thanksgiving.
Speaker 7 (04:55):
She has Thanksgiving clothes, yes, I.
Speaker 8 (04:57):
Do, but I will still wear Chris Smiths sweaters pre Thanksgiving,
don't get me wrong, But on Thanksgiving Thanksgiving clothes.
Speaker 10 (05:05):
But Thanksgiving clothes though, well I do.
Speaker 8 (05:07):
I do have a Thanksgiving sweater. I also have like
a really cute like skirt to Thanksgiving or whatever, like
more fall themed.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
I did order a new button down shirt for Thanksgiving dinner. Yeah,
because I've lost too much weight, you guys. Yeah, because
I like what's the Untucket? Oh yeah, those those shirts there.
Button down shirts are really cool. I like them a lot.
They're very comfortable, they hold up well so. But the
one I had was like I try I tried it
(05:36):
on and it's a tent. I mean no, I mean
it's like massive. It looks ridiculous. I sized down. Did
you get or maybe I didn't? And I ordered a
dark blue one too, just just a half most annoying
people Thanksgiving uninvited guests. Sure, yeah, but does it never happened?
(05:57):
Who's ever just showed up to your house?
Speaker 5 (06:00):
I never bet if the twenty nine years of Thanksgivings
that I've gone to, I've never once.
Speaker 11 (06:03):
Heard that I have had less invites, like, oh, can
my cousin come, she's in town?
Speaker 3 (06:09):
Exactly right.
Speaker 9 (06:10):
I did one for New Year's Eve where the person
that I invited didn't tell me they were bringing somebody.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
They brought one.
Speaker 9 (06:17):
It was like one of those you know, set number
of people at the table, No random.
Speaker 3 (06:21):
The couch snore, Yeah, the pushy vegan because like you know,
the food he slammed over. It would be so much
better if it were tofu guys them the kitchen lurker
made this when they were asking people like it might be.
Speaker 10 (06:36):
Almost how much more time? How much more time do
you think until the fod's ready?
Speaker 3 (06:40):
Talk to me there?
Speaker 12 (06:41):
That's yeah, yeah, oll. There should be a coterie board
like prepare just they can't be away from the kitchen. Yes,
if that's not prepared, then I'm up in the kitchen.
Speaker 8 (06:52):
But sometimes the turkey takes hours longer than you even thinking.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
It's like Oh my god, that's why you have a
coterie board.
Speaker 11 (06:59):
They think are helping, so they stand in the doorway
and talk to you and distract you.
Speaker 8 (07:04):
Okay, Morgan, Menace to your point. And I don't know
if anyone else's family is like this. But we don't
have other meals on Thanksgiving. You're just waiting me if
you're not making breakfast.
Speaker 7 (07:16):
But you don't have advertisers.
Speaker 8 (07:17):
No, there will be like cheese and other stuff out,
But how long does that hold you over?
Speaker 10 (07:20):
When you have no other meals?
Speaker 3 (07:22):
There should be shrimps And Menace always bitches about like
because he goes to his in laws and they don't
eat till like late. Dude. When I say late, I
mean like night.
Speaker 13 (07:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (07:32):
Yeah. And that's the thing about Thanksgiving. I want to
eat early. Yeah, you know there's like brunch between breakfast
and lunch. I want brinner. Yeah, I mean like like
like like no, like it would be lenner like lunch,
like lunch dinner that early, like a late lunch early
dinner time frame.
Speaker 7 (07:50):
When you do, that's perfect.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
The most annoying people for Thanksgiving get together is the
early and the late arrival people. Yeah, either too early
or too late.
Speaker 7 (07:57):
Please don't come early.
Speaker 3 (07:59):
These people made the US. I don't care about this.
The supermarket pie buyers, that's fine, who cares if it's
if it's fine.
Speaker 10 (08:05):
No, thank you.
Speaker 9 (08:06):
I would prefer store bought yea for pie absolutely.
Speaker 3 (08:11):
Yeah. Like dude, if you if you bought something of
the cheesecake factory and brought it over, I wouldn't hate
on that. Sammy was hating on the uh the costco.
Speaker 7 (08:22):
Yeah hater you know makes the better?
Speaker 8 (08:25):
Well, yeah, you guys raved about it.
Speaker 3 (08:27):
So I thought, like, oh.
Speaker 10 (08:27):
Man, this is gonna be great.
Speaker 7 (08:28):
And it tastes like a store bought punkin pie.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
I mean that is that's not wrong. The overstayers, it
gets over guys. Yeah, read the cues.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
Ye.
Speaker 3 (08:39):
People making the Thanksgiving World Tour made the list, like
the you like the friends of the Family. Yeah, but
they make a big deal about what was our third
stop today? Guys? Cool, it feels so special. The belchers
and the farters made the list. And then uh, finally,
when people were asked who are the most annoying people
at Thanksgiving? Anyone who feels they need to bring up
(08:59):
politics unless you're like, you know, Sean Hannity's relative or
uh you know it's yeah, you're related to them and
you're at there house. I would understand that maybe it
would come up right their take.
Speaker 9 (09:14):
But other than that, no, maybe put my former friend
on this list. The person who brings something such as
a bottle of wine and they take the left over
wine back. That's als oh this, it didn't matter if
it was allowed.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
Yeah, I knew one person. They would intentionally show up
to wherever they were going because they would either come
to our house sometimes or if they were going to
their even their own families, they would show up with
their own tupperware to take stuff with them. Okay, it's
like I didn't tell you to bring that stuff with you.
Speaker 11 (09:40):
That's so funny because I was just going to say,
at my Thanksgiving and at my friend's Thanksgiving, we always
do a b yot bring your own tupperware.
Speaker 3 (09:47):
Your own Yeah, I always thinking of something else.
Speaker 11 (09:49):
That's the rule, got me bring it home. But please
don't just assume unless I tell you.
Speaker 3 (09:55):
Eight seven seven forty four wouldie if there's anybody you'd
like to add to the li And if you heard
one of those things, you're like, oh wait, that is me,
maybe reconsider it. O stop its like, maybe don't do that. Yeah, yeah,
send us a text over to two to nine eighty
seven more what he shows next? Hang up?
Speaker 12 (10:11):
We founded everybody the best Korean barbecue in southern California.
What's up, everybody?
Speaker 3 (10:19):
It's menace.
Speaker 12 (10:20):
Try it for yourself and tell me I'm wrong. It's
called Mountain Sun. That's Mountain sa N. This restaurant is
the longest running Korean barbecue spot in America. Mountain sa
N Google this place highest rated Korean barbecue restaurant on Yelp.
Speaker 3 (10:37):
Closes late at night.
Speaker 12 (10:38):
Premium meat, drink specials and free multi level barking. Mountain
Sun Barbecue. Get info at s an Mountain dot com.
Speaker 3 (10:47):
This is Nony all right, welcome back, everybody. Yeah, it
is Wednesday. It's November nineteenth. Medics. A couple today in
histories for you. Okay, this one significant. It was today,
in eighteen sixty three that President Lincoln delivered his Getty's
(11:08):
Burg address, Dal shall not kill right. Yeah, that's that's right.
It was today in nineteen sixty five that the Kellogg's
Kellogg's pop tarts were created. Hell yeah, great. Yeah. Their
original name was Country Squares Pretty good, and they were
(11:31):
created by Post, not even created by Kelloggs. Now Kellogg's.
Speaker 12 (11:34):
It was the whole movie about it that didn't do
very that was sort of fictionalized.
Speaker 3 (11:38):
What's that the pop tart? Yeah, yeah, yep, and I
get this because it was flammable. Pop tarts didn't originally
have frosting. Oh, the frosting didn't come around until nineteen
sixty seven when a toaster stable frosting was introduced. That
sounds good. That's big. Yeah, yeah, that that is lastic.
(12:00):
That is that is big. Let's say today's National Carbonated
Beverage with Caffeine Day. Yeah, Greg, Today's Botox Cosmetic Day.
It's every day, is it free? Today? It's also International
Men's Day. Cool, It's National Half a Bad Day Day,
National Camp Day, which seems like a weird time to
have camp, National Play Monopoly Day. I like the idea
(12:24):
of monopoly, but it's just it's it's just too damn long.
And then today's World Toilet Day, Toilet toilets and toilet
National shower Days. It is not it is not a
person who claims to poop in his own shower if
it's properly designed. Yes, yeah, all right, we got the
other birthdays and the port of birthday coming up here
in just a moment, Menace is here to tell us
(12:45):
what's happening in the world of entertainment. Yeah, I didn't
even know this was the thing.
Speaker 12 (12:48):
But last week they had an award show called the
Governor's Awards, which is the sixteenth one that they had.
It was in Hollywood, and it's kind of like a
pre Oscar show because they actually give out Oscars this
award show, and Tom Cruise received his first Oscar. Guys,
it was his he has one one before. It was
an honorary one.
Speaker 7 (13:08):
It wasn't even real one.
Speaker 3 (13:09):
It's weird. It's like, well, yeah, not a real one.
But because they stay hating dog. That's when you hear
about like these big, huge, like legendary artists that had
never won a Grammy and yet someone like Katie Perry
has like seven. It seems so weird, like Tom Tom
Cruise doesn't have one Oscar. All the stuff that he's done.
Speaker 11 (13:27):
Okay, action movies, whatever, they don't really get that kind
of shine. But think of like Magnolia rain Man, He's
had some serious part.
Speaker 3 (13:34):
Yeah, what was the what was the one? Jerry Maguire, Yeah, sure, yeah,
top gun, but Jerry Maguire wasn't. Uh, that wasn't like
one of those thunder Yeah, what about dates of thunders?
Speaker 2 (13:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (13:48):
He had Best Actor nineteen ninety Best Actor again nomination's
own nomination ninety seven supporting after two thousand and Best Picture.
Speaker 3 (13:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 12 (13:56):
So would you be happy with the honorary one? For
all the stuff done for film?
Speaker 3 (14:00):
The honorary thing seemed, I mean, it doesn't count.
Speaker 12 (14:02):
It's a pity participate. Would you actually hate it? Because
even though I mean, I I worship her and I
think she's a gift from Jesus, Dolly Parton that night
also received one for her charity work.
Speaker 7 (14:14):
Different?
Speaker 3 (14:16):
Is that different? You're like, Oh, it's me and Dolly?
Speaker 7 (14:18):
Like, why you hate On?
Speaker 12 (14:20):
I'm not, but I'm just saying, like I'm Tom Cruise,
I'm a like professional actor.
Speaker 9 (14:25):
Well hers, I don't believe was an Oscar was some
sort of humanitarian.
Speaker 3 (14:28):
Right and it was something for yeah, charity, literacy progress Oscar.
It's a different award altogether, a different name like Okay,
the shack, somebody, somebody, for fun should give Menace an
honorary doctorate in literature. Yes, I've been.
Speaker 12 (14:48):
Trying to get an honorary doctorate somewhere somehow, there has
to be like some college.
Speaker 3 (14:54):
And then he can go around. There's a guy so
got it. I want to call him out so bad
because a douche. There's a mutual friend of ours works
in radio, works with a guy at one of the
other stations who has an honorary doctorate, and he insists
that people address him as doctor. He does. It's in
(15:14):
his email signature people. He corrects people in person, I'm sorry,
that's doctor Gory and he's not. Yeah, he's not kidding.
He's absolutely serious.
Speaker 9 (15:27):
Unearned, isn't that Bill Cosby situation credits on the Crossby
Show would say, doctor Bill.
Speaker 12 (15:36):
Just to pull back the current a little bit, I
haven't doctor by my way into mensa. And it's not
as easy as he thought. When it comes to mensa,
I mean, you can't buy your way in. I've been
looking for I've been looking for ways. He probably can
and uh no, but they when I did do some research,
(16:00):
there was a lot of people talking back about the
whole psychology route of.
Speaker 3 (16:03):
Getting and sure they were like big time hanging on that.
Speaker 7 (16:07):
But it's the same test.
Speaker 12 (16:09):
No, no, no, no, the way that they explained it,
please explain it. Yeah, well they explained that basically, they
allow you to memorize all the answers through yeah, the psychologists,
and then uh, then they admit the test.
Speaker 7 (16:24):
How do you remember the answers you're being you're giving
the test in the lifetime.
Speaker 3 (16:28):
I didn't hear that. Yeah, but I'll look into it.
Speaker 7 (16:29):
Yeah, yeah, that's the scarbage, garbage.
Speaker 3 (16:33):
I just read it this week. So Sea Bass and
and Gina are both members of MENSA. They got in
in different ways. Sea Bass went down to like the
school library.
Speaker 5 (16:43):
I went to the actual proctor proctor MENSA proctor tests
and I.
Speaker 7 (16:47):
Took my top. I was like, you let.
Speaker 3 (16:49):
Me in and then you took your menta test. Psychology,
a psychology. This is where this whole thing comes in,
bad time. Sea Bass dismisses the way that Gina got in. Yeah. Text, Well,
I'm just saying what I tricked on the record, what
I read.
Speaker 12 (17:06):
What I read is a lot of people agree with
Sea Bass's side because it.
Speaker 7 (17:12):
Doesn't make it. There's a lot more as a tested minister.
Speaker 3 (17:15):
Well, okay, so first, since we're dating taking deep into this.
Speaker 7 (17:20):
My psychologists did, but hold on, let me.
Speaker 3 (17:23):
Let me ask Let me ask you this question. There's
not two different mensas, right, it's one Mensa. But there's
a large variety of entrance possibilities whatever. But like, once
you're in, you're in correct. So it's it's you're you're
a member of this the Mensa. People who went the
root of Sea.
Speaker 12 (17:39):
Bass talked a lot of smaxxine. It's a back door,
is a back door way to get into Mensa.
Speaker 3 (17:43):
You're either in or you're not right, and you're trying
to find a way to buy your way in and
you can't do it. Yeah, you pass research enough, and I.
Speaker 7 (17:54):
Have my Mensa cards specifically to piss off people like
Sea Bass's photo. Yeah, you want to see the real
thing is that? Is that your new angle? Is your
new angle that I just drew.
Speaker 3 (18:06):
Do you have one of the special Mensa pens like
they have in the fast food plates they put on
the on the higher denomination bills.
Speaker 7 (18:11):
I'm gonna pull up my number for you're talking to
a room full of people who, for a decade plus
now have said because I would get the Mensa magazine
and I would be articles and.
Speaker 5 (18:21):
They would say, oh, anybody can sewing up for that?
And I have my actual plaque that shows that they
don't sell those very poor. Their excuse has been for
decade plus what you one could print, anyone could print.
So anybody excuse me if I toss a little bit
about that back there.
Speaker 7 (18:36):
No problem. Let me go ahead and log in for
you if that's helpful.
Speaker 10 (18:39):
I don't even get you brought up about I didn't.
Speaker 12 (18:45):
Yeah, but you were talking about getting a doctorate blah blah,
and I was like, oh, yeah, by the way, I've
been trying to figure out how I can buy my
way into.
Speaker 3 (18:52):
How we have to reverse engineer our own conversations.
Speaker 7 (18:57):
Ago arguing no, we definitely don't need.
Speaker 12 (18:58):
How we got him, and I just that the like
people that took the test seabous away were just talking.
Speaker 7 (19:05):
Because I didn't go to the library. I didn't have
my library card when I took my chi.
Speaker 3 (19:13):
All right, you know, geez, I don't feel defensive at all.
Speaker 7 (19:22):
Is the one that wants you to get club. That's
what it's about it.
Speaker 12 (19:30):
I give you one more story. Kathy Hilton, she's very
Hilton's mom. She got robbed the other day because she
was at Bravocon the reality show. Uh you know, get
together in Las Vegas. And again this is just keeps
on happening a lot with people that are in the public.
Speaker 3 (19:47):
Eye and the pass and stuff.
Speaker 12 (19:49):
I mean, but like, how do you not post in
real time? Now here's the thing you're allowed to do
that you live in America. You can do what you want,
but you should also lock your front door if you're
and apparently that's what the police say that she left
her front door unlocked as well when she left medics.
Speaker 3 (20:09):
Are we missing something? Why were you not giving us
full Bravo con coverage? What was going on there? But
I had to do and I had to deal work event.
Can't stop, can't stop, can't stop. I didn't make it.
Oh man, I know. So that was But at least, if.
Speaker 12 (20:24):
You know, if you're gonna leave town, lock your front door.
Or if you're mega, mega rich and an heir to
the Hilton fortune.
Speaker 3 (20:31):
Some security, by the way, ad T in certain cities, areas, whatever,
offers a service that if you are out of town
or even just for your own peace of mind at
certain times of the day, maybe overnight or whatever, they
have their own armed security who comes by and does checks.
So they'll walk around, they'll check the doors, they'll check
(20:52):
the windows. Uh, they'll do like a and they'll they'll
send you the confirmation like you know, like you like
a door dash kind of thing to show that they
were actually there. Uh, the whole thing. Not to mention
you have you have If you have eighty T and
you're doing that, you probably have the camerage you can
go and see, oh there's a guy walking around at checking.
But yeah, I thought that was pretty cool. I don't
even know that they offer it. That's her. It's pretty cool.
(21:12):
All right, Tom, for your birthdays and birthday show, we're
gonna we're gonna sit. She was like, and you know
you don't do what we're gonna see if Morgan knows
who these celebrities are. Okay, let's go Happy birthday to
Jody Foster FURTIVR Okayuri.
Speaker 10 (21:34):
Yes, can I name anything she's done?
Speaker 2 (21:36):
Now?
Speaker 3 (21:36):
You know Jordy Foster Star Wars, No Star Wars. Okay, Yeah.
And if you don't know, if you don't know, take
take a take a guess, like even if you heard
the name, trying to take a guess and maybe what
they've been in. Adam Driver.
Speaker 10 (21:49):
Ah, here's name a lot, Adam Driver.
Speaker 3 (21:52):
Is he in the he's your age? Yeah, he's like
your generation doesn't retain anything. You can do this.
Speaker 10 (21:58):
And Adam Sandler movies, Star Wars, Star.
Speaker 3 (22:02):
Wars serious, Yeah he was. He was Kylo Wren.
Speaker 10 (22:05):
I've never seen it. Well, do you ever see girls? No?
Speaker 3 (22:08):
Yeah, he was Lena Dunham's love interest Adam pretty easy.
Remember that he's forty two, Meg Ryan, he's not my age?
Speaker 10 (22:16):
Who said that? Anyways?

Eighty three years old today?
Speaker 14 (24:02):

Speaker 3 (24:03):
Big bruise on your head?
Speaker 2 (24:06):
Why why do you keep calling me Calvin?
Speaker 3 (24:09):

Speaker 2 (24:16):
Caw No, Actually, people call me Marty.
Speaker 3 (24:20):
I'll me Marty.
Speaker 5 (24:22):
That's such a great bit of writing right there, because
it perfectly and caps like the difference between the eighties
and the fifties, like in one little.
Speaker 3 (24:27):
Line, I'll tell you the show it to you Calvin
Klein's eighty three Today and then your porn of birthday
is a bella Danger and today's birthday. Girl, she's been

including a Will It even fit? Will it?
Speaker 10 (24:49):
I'm sure?
Speaker 2 (24:49):
Well?
Speaker 10 (24:49):
After one thousand she was.
Speaker 3 (24:51):
In a good point. She was in Horror Craft, Legion
of Whores Nice also Double Anal Demolition, Sneaking in the
back Door. She was in Once You Go Black, Volume one.
She was in Deep Throat Diet okay, and Greg who
can forget her unforgetable role and wake up and smell
the vagina?
Speaker 9 (25:10):
Oh no, thank you, that's morning.
Speaker 3 (25:14):

Speaker 15 (25:23):
And a lot of arguing, yeah already, that's good, really.
Speaker 16 (25:38):
All right?
Speaker 3 (25:39):
Welcome back everybody. Yeah, and dude, we have some some
inner office drama that has been brought to my attention. No, yes,
I don't believe it what that involves me? No it does?
Speaker 5 (25:52):
Oh yeah, don't want I brought your attention. Uh the pie, yes, yeah,
so either.
Speaker 3 (25:58):
The giant Costco pumpkin pie, the sea bats. We handed
out slices, but we still had over half that.
Speaker 5 (26:04):
Giant eighteen twenty three plus pounds.
Speaker 3 (26:09):
I threw it back in the fridge where and I
I store things. Yes, and guess what, we go back
to it today and Gonzo the whole thing. Not even
like somebody took some They took the entire thing. I
wanted that.
Speaker 7 (26:22):
Thinking about it, you have no idea.
Speaker 3 (26:24):
Like how the Grinch stole Christmas kind of thing with
the magnet, the magnet pulling the pins out of the stockings,
over the mantle everything. I blame Seacrest. I don't blame it.
I don't blame Seacrest. You know, you know who was
in the building yesterday and all of a sudden it's
gone Delilah who. So let it be known that we
are blaming Delilah. Radio Legends official position. She does all
(26:49):
those love songs.
Speaker 12 (26:50):
Yeah, wrote a song about there.
Speaker 3 (26:53):
Yeah, yeah, so the legendary Hall of Fame radio host Delilah.
And I'm putting that accusation out there. If she would
like to call in to defend herself, we would be
happy to have Delia.
Speaker 12 (27:08):
I know you didn't know that was a pie, that
that was the Plain White wrote that song about her.
Speaker 10 (27:14):
I still think you're joking about that, right, you know
the song right? Yeah, of course, but it's about that
specific woman.
Speaker 3 (27:20):
Yeah, m I have a hard.
Speaker 10 (27:22):
Time believing that. And look how what he's looking at me.
Speaker 3 (27:25):
I'm not double. In fact, in fact, the guy, the
guy from Plain White teas uh, didn't even write it
about a girl named Delilah. Delilah was not even a
real person.
Speaker 10 (27:40):
That's a code name. Wasn't he cheating on his girl?
And that was the girl he wanted to be with?
Speaker 3 (27:44):
Oh no, take no, it was.
Speaker 12 (27:47):
It was a real girl, according to I don't know,
but he came in and he talked about the story
like twenty years ago. At that she said that it
was a live girl.
Speaker 3 (27:56):
I mean, the AI is going to have an argument
with you, with me or with Woody. Yeah, dude, I
remember playing his day he was in the student there's
no like like how there was the song. If you
guys ever watched The Bomba you would know this. But
Richie Valence had the song Oh Donna, Yeah Donna, Uh
Donna was actually the name of his girlfriend. But yeah,
Delilah not not the actual name of the chick. Not
(28:16):
a real don't check your sources on that one. Yeah,
I can give you your own interview. Yeah, yeah name
yeah yeah, yeah, go to school. I remember the day
he was there.
Speaker 16 (28:30):
I don't remember.
Speaker 12 (28:31):
Yeah, yeah, I remember it. And he was like, yeah,
I was really into her. He said that he never
hooked up with her, never an she wasn't into because
she was red.
Speaker 3 (28:39):
They weren't they weren't together. Yeah, because this is what
they performed. You gets ready to go? Yeah, okay, yeah
all right here Plain Live studio. Yeah, and they were
they were doing this on our show. Yeah that's me.
Sounds like I'm five years old, right, yeah he there
delas like New York City a thousand miles away.
Speaker 16 (29:03):
But girl, tonight you.
Speaker 3 (29:04):
Look so pretty as you do about you? Okay, show,
I gotta tell you, it's it's funny. There's some really
weird you know how websites will have frequently asked questions.
(29:25):
We got a lot of the same ones. What's the
name of the pet insurance that Menace has for his dogs?
That would be healthy? Pause?
Speaker 9 (29:32):
I think that's the number one fak, Yeah, that's it.
Speaker 3 (29:34):
And then we talked to a buddy of mine one
time and he was a pretty big, heavy drinker and
he just stopped cold turkey after reading this book called
Alcohol Lied to Me by Craig Beck Craig Beck. And
you can find a lot about that online. And so
that was very helpful. It's notice it's all the helpful things, right,
(29:57):
that's good. What's the name of the resort that wood
he and his wife liked to go to all the
time every year in Mexico? Secrets Maroma Beach. Google it secrets,
Maroma Beach.
Speaker 9 (30:09):
It's fantastic, everybody write these three things stuff.
Speaker 3 (30:12):
Yeah. And then the other one that we've been getting
a lot more of ever ever since I mentioned it,
We've talked about different recommendations for purchases. I mentioned how
my son needed a new mattress. Oh yeah, and I'm like, dude,
I'm not spending a bunch of money on this kid.
And this stupid mattress. And so I went on Amazon
(30:32):
just to see because I was doing all the shopping
around and stuff, and I'm like, oh my god, I'm
not paying this kind of money for this kid's right,
a kid's mattress. And I found this one on Amazon.
I'm like, it's one of those beds in a box.
You know, I gotta, you know, cut it, open it.
That's so satisfying. Yeah. Anyway, so I ordered it and
it was under three hundred bucks, and of course that's Amazon.
(30:54):
So it's delivered for under three hundred bucks. Queen size mattress,
pillow top mattress. It's a and I fell asleep on
it because I'm like, god, I want to test it out.
And then I start like, you know, scrolling a little bit.
We fell asleep. It's a great match. They're not an advertiser,
I'm telling you. And so somebody had just texted over
(31:14):
asking about that, and I just answered one the other
day and so now I just posted it on our
Instagram story at the Woody Show. There's a link that
takes your right to the Amazon item. It's like an
Adamant is the name of the brand, and Adamant and
it's a queen size bed and I just saw on
(31:35):
Amazon because you know, tis the season for sales now,
it's one ninety eight for a queen size mattress and
it's rad it's it's legit good, it's a great breath
if you don't like it, one ninety eight delivered crazy. Yeah. Yeah,
So there you go.
Speaker 12 (31:56):
This holiday season, we are going to actually see saving
when it comes to these sales.
Speaker 3 (32:01):
Yeah. Yeah, because I see some insane sales, as you mentioned,
because I just figured the Target was always like killing it.
I did see Menace mentioned how Target sales and everything
over down. I'm like, wow, it's always packed when I'm there. Yeah,
my wife's there constantly. She lives there at least three
quarters of a paycheck there. And then I saw an
(32:23):
article this morning about how already you're today. I mean
they're they're not doing so hot. Ye, not so great.
Speaker 11 (32:28):
Yeah, well they're pretty pricey. I mean I'll go, like
I was talking about with the Christmas compared.
Speaker 3 (32:33):
To Walmart.
Speaker 9 (32:36):
Christmas Target, people go to Target like they're bargain hunting.
I'm thinking, what bargains you find a Target?
Speaker 10 (32:42):
Yeah, Hey, they have that little one dollar section in
the front.
Speaker 3 (32:47):
Yeah, good point anyway. So, yeah, the mattress. The link
to it is on our Instagram story, and because I
saw the price, I'm like, well I should probably link
it out.
Speaker 7 (32:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (32:58):
We don't make any money off of this. They are
not a sponsor. It's just something that I had shared
and I thought it was a really good deal and
I was surprised at like how legit this bed was,
and especially at that price. You got nothing to lose.
Damn me. Shit, did a referral link some money?
Speaker 9 (33:12):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (33:13):
What is it? A referral link on Amazon?
Speaker 12 (33:16):
That that means if you put out your own link,
your own special link, that you could make money off
of the off the purchase.
Speaker 10 (33:25):
Influencer who cares?
Speaker 3 (33:27):
Yeah, well next time. Next time, I'll let Morgan do
that and she can get some extra money for her
nose job account.
Speaker 2 (33:31):
I know.
Speaker 12 (33:32):
Yeah, right, you can get like five nose jobs because
people ask for it all the time.
Speaker 3 (33:37):
To get it right, Yeah, yeah, yeah exactly. So if
you're looking for a man and that's that was the
Queen one. They have other sizes, yeah, of of the mattress,
but it's it's good. They have a twelve in one,
they have a fourteen inch it's it's.
Speaker 7 (33:48):
Uh yeah, it's pillow top.
Speaker 3 (33:51):
It's so comfortable. Yeah, and it's it's posted on our
Instagram story right now at the show. You can check
it out there. We've got some of the trending news headlines.
Do you to grab what's happening?
Speaker 7 (34:01):
Well, the House.
Speaker 11 (34:01):
Voted on the Epstein files and the vote went through
with only one person holding out. The loan holdout was
Louisiana Rep. Clay Higgins, who said that the bill abandons
two hundred and fifty years of criminal justice procedure. From there,
the bill moved to the Senate also passed no holdouts. Now,
it means it will be. There are no changes available.
It has to be as it currently stands, and the
(34:23):
bill heads next to the White House where President Trump
is expected to sign it.
Speaker 7 (34:28):
But he doesn't like questions about it. Everybody heard the
quiet piggy line, right yeah?
Speaker 3 (34:33):
That ye.
Speaker 12 (34:35):
Also, when he was meeting with one of the princess
of Saudi Arabia, he got asked again and he didn't
like it.
Speaker 3 (34:40):
He didn't like that either.
Speaker 11 (34:41):
On Air Force One, Kathy Lucy, she's from Bloomberg, She's
the correspondent from Bloomberg kept asking about it on Air
Force when we was standing there and he finally looks her,
he goes quiet, quiet, Piggy, it's pretty crazy. Well, there's
been an update in the case of Anna Kaepner. She
was that eighteen year old who died on a carnival
(35:01):
cruise ship returning to Miami.
Speaker 3 (35:02):
Oh yeah, that story got really weird. I mean it
was weird anyway when someone that young, all of a
sudden just shows up dead. But you didn't know really
any They said that, oh, this this girl was found nothing.
She was supposed to graduate high school the spring, and
she's going to go into the military. And the FBI
has been brought in to investigate it. And now you
really understand why they went right to the FBI, because
(35:24):
it's crazy how they found her exactly.
Speaker 1 (35:26):
So.
Speaker 11 (35:27):
New reports say that Anna told the family the night
before the death that she wasn't feeling well, went back
to her room, and when everyone woke up for breakfast,
no one could find her, and the family, the.
Speaker 7 (35:35):
Cruise staff, they looked all over the.
Speaker 11 (35:37):
Ship for her, but it was the maid who found her,
wrapped in a blanket, covered in life jackets and shoved
underneath the bed.
Speaker 3 (35:45):
Get dead, Yeah, that's not what you do. You're not
feeling well, I'll, like an animal, go out into the
woods to die or you know, you.
Speaker 7 (35:51):
Don't get yourself in that position.
Speaker 3 (35:53):
Correct.
Speaker 11 (35:53):
So the FBI is handling the case. It's being reported
that one of her step siblings on the cruise may
face criminal charge. The FBI hasn't confirmed this. They haven't
confirmed if it's a homicide, if charges will be filed.
Speaker 7 (36:05):
But that's what there's Yeah.
Speaker 3 (36:08):
I got yeah, I don't have any of the information
in front of me, but I could pretty well guarantee.
Speaker 7 (36:14):
Yeah, I'm not a backed woman, but.
Speaker 3 (36:17):
Anything but just the description alone.
Speaker 11 (36:20):
So speaking of boats, remember last year that cargo ship
that rammed into a bridge in Baltimore and the bridge collapse. Okay,
So as of yesterday, the NTSB wrapped up their investigation
and says the cause of the accident was a single
loose wire. On the day of the crash, the wire
had loosened so much that it disconnected from the breaker
(36:40):
and that resulted a loss of propulsion in steering, and
the backup systems weren't configured correctly, so the ship was
basically just uncontrollable and because of that, no one could
steer the ship and that's when it crashed into the
key bridge. The NTSB is issuing seventeen new safety recommendations
and says that this accident obviously was definitely provided.
Speaker 3 (36:58):
Issuing safety recommendations yeah, not acquirements. Yeah, I guess it's
harder because like some of these companies are international, right yeah.
Speaker 7 (37:09):
Yeah, and they don't follow the same rules. Well, these
are strongly recommended.
Speaker 12 (37:13):
Also, did you see the update on the bridge. They
said it's going to cost twice as much as I thought.
Speaker 3 (37:17):
Of course, anybody who's ever done a home project.
Speaker 7 (37:20):
Day that twice as much, twice as long, no warranty.
Speaker 11 (37:24):
Well, the newest college football Playoff rankings dropped last night
and there's a shake up in the top five. Ohio State, Indiana,
and Texas A and M still lead the pack, but
Georgia and Texas Tech have both moved up to number
four number five thanks to Alabama's big loss to Oklahoma.
Old Miss and Oregon also moved up one spot to
number six and seven, and Oklahoma moved up three spots
(37:44):
to number eight. Notre Dame sits at nine, Alabama fell
to ten, and BYU and Utah move up to eleven
and twelve.
Speaker 7 (37:52):
And finally menace. You might not like this very much.
Designer dogs like pugs, French bulldogs, English bulldog they could
be on the way out in the next decade.
Speaker 3 (38:02):
I did see something about this.
Speaker 11 (38:03):
Yeah, that's because of a big crackdown on breeding dogs
that have extreme physical traits that lead to health problems.
So a new tool called.
Speaker 12 (38:11):
See those dogs in a in shelters anywhere. You know,
you want to fix shelters, get a bunch of French cheese.
Speaker 3 (38:18):
The breeder and spend thousands of dollars. Yeah, and then
then there won't be a problem, you know. Yep. Yeah.
Speaker 11 (38:29):
On the Innate Health Assessment rates dogs on ten traits
tied to poor health. So with these requirements for official breeders,
only dogs with a score of eight or above will
be allowed to breed. In five years, the score we
moved to nine, and in a decade you have to
have a perfect score of ten to be an official
breeder and breed that dog in America.
Speaker 7 (38:48):
Yeap. The goal is to.
Speaker 11 (38:49):
Make shif future generation with pugs and bull dogs health Yeah.
Speaker 10 (38:52):
Plus, who's going to listen to this anyway? Is this
will breed them?
Speaker 3 (38:55):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (38:56):
You're exactly, but you're not going to be able to
get the certified. You know what, will.
Speaker 10 (39:02):
This make them even more popular because it goes to the.
Speaker 3 (39:05):
I mean, the kids don't want the Stanleys that are
not standing. Want do you want that Target brand? Stanley,
Target brand, trenchy. I don't care about.
Speaker 7 (39:15):
I'm not a fan.
Speaker 12 (39:16):
I go to different about pugs. They're so and I
think we talked about this, Greg. They're so cute when
they're small, but they get pretty ugly as they get older.
Speaker 3 (39:27):
I love all dogs, right, like like as like as
as a person, not but like as a as a being,
you know.
Speaker 17 (39:38):
You know, like, but like, god, damn, this thing is ugly, Harry,
little potatoes something could be a really nice person and
you can like them, but man, like, I mean, you know,
I see it every day in the mirror, like this
is an ugly and a thing.
Speaker 3 (39:51):
There was I'd be very yeah, like creature, Yeah right,
but yeah they are ugly. Yeah.
Speaker 7 (40:02):
Well that's what's going on with.
Speaker 3 (40:04):
Five six two. When what he first mentioned that mattress
that he bought for his son is around the time
of my wife and I were moving houses. You posted
the link and I immediately sent to my wife. We
bought the king size and we both love it. Pro
tip though we did need to order a separate box
spring for a little bit more support. Yeah, because it's
just the mattress. Yeah, okay, but my son has like
(40:25):
a platform, right, yeah, because there's like drawers underneath, so
you don't need you don't need the box spring to
put the mattress on top because it's sitting on a
solid surface. But yeah, I mean, if you need to
get an extra box spring, what's if the bed is
one ninety nine whatever it is, ninety eight, how much
could a box spring be?
Speaker 7 (40:42):
Yeah, you're still saving money.
Speaker 12 (40:43):
Four nothing like box springs before big lots when they're
different dates like forty bucks.
Speaker 9 (40:50):
Really yeah, yeah, we should take those four FAQs and
pin them twenty four to seven.
Speaker 3 (40:56):
I just put them on the website somewhere somewhere frequently
asked questions. I mean, there's a reason that all these
companies and stuff do it totally because they get they
get tired of answering your question and they figured like, oh,
this will probably save somebody some time on the they
won't call on the endless hole.
Speaker 7 (41:11):
Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 3 (41:12):
All right, We're gonna take a quick break more Woody Shows. Next,
hang on the Woody shows right after these messages, and
there up the far higher the Woody Show. All right,
welcome back everybody. Uh so we got the phones open
(41:34):
eight seven seven forty four Wooding you can, says a
text over to two two nine eight seven. Who's this person?
Brooke Mollie?
Speaker 7 (41:42):
Oh yeah, Brooke Molly. I think, holy, oh my god.
I can't stop watching it.
Speaker 11 (41:48):
First I hated her, and then I have grown to
love her, and I feel like Morgan will like her
because she's brutally honest. And uh I this clip. I've
watched it maybe twelve times, just basically calling out shaming
lazy fatties who just love food and complain about their weight.
Speaker 3 (42:09):
Okay, yeah, oh and then complain about the weight. Yeah
why Why of a sudden we are we being attacked? Yeah?
Speaker 11 (42:17):
Yeah, this girl is and she goes by skinny bestie
and she is hot as anything, blonde like per quote
unquote perfect, and so she has thoughts about the rest
of us.
Speaker 3 (42:30):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 6 (42:30):
If you're too sensitive for this message, keep scrolling. Your
food doesn't have to taste good.
Speaker 7 (42:35):
You're not five.
Speaker 6 (42:36):
This isn't your birthday party. Don't need every meal to
be fun. Your taste buds don't pay your bills, so
stop letting your cravings walk you like a dog. We
do things we don't want to do every single day.
If we only did what we wanted to do, we'dn't
be jobless, broke, and probably texting our ex like that
ever ended well. If you want to stay average and
keep eating taco bell and blaming your thyroid. If you
(42:59):
want to be hot, stop acting confused. You know exactly
what to do. It's not rocket science. You taste food
for what five seconds. Letting five seconds of food dictate
your life, you're giving up your dream body for something
that makes you feel bad and look bad. If it
doesn't make you hotter, don't put it in your mouth.
Grown adults eat.
Speaker 10 (43:19):
For their goals. Five year olds to eat for fun.
Pleasure is cheap.
Speaker 6 (43:23):
Confidence isn't choose the one that lasts for longer than
five seconds. Food isn't the reward you are. Remember that
next time you pick up your fork.
Speaker 7 (43:33):
It gave you a lot.
Speaker 10 (43:35):
I love her so much. I knew you'd love hate
her voice.
Speaker 12 (43:39):
I wish it, yeah, I wish it was a gay
guy doing it, because it would have been.
Speaker 10 (43:43):
Yeah, but man, everything she said was point on. She's
not wrong. Don't give yourself treats. You're not a dog.
Speaker 13 (43:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (43:49):
At first I was just like, oh, this bitch, and
I'm like will.
Speaker 3 (43:52):
But there is a look, there is a balance, right,
I mean these people and I feel like so bad
ad for Tony Horton. I use him as an example.
That man sat here in the studio. Yeah, I know exactly,
and he told us that once in the past twelve months,
he treated himself on his birthday, on his birthday to
(44:15):
salmon pie.
Speaker 10 (44:18):
Look how great he look?
Speaker 3 (44:20):
Okay, But at the same at the same time, it
works for him obviously, and that's what he is and
who he is and what he does and like so
that's the whole thing. But just in general, like to me,
I understand, health is wealth. I get that. But the
same time, man like live a little like, yeah, not
the way that you know, maybe it's five you know,
(44:42):
medicine I or whoever, Like a lot of people in
this room have lived. Greg putting you know, peanut butter.
Eminem's into the ice cream that he's also covered in
magic shell and like eating icing directly out of the container,
totally like maybe maybe not that, but like something and
maybe not.
Speaker 9 (45:00):
That every day but every once in a while.
Speaker 10 (45:03):
And this is right, it's portion control. You can have
anything in balance.
Speaker 3 (45:06):
Yeah, I feel just everything in life is balance, but
I try to strike a balance.
Speaker 2 (45:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (45:11):
I think her point is like stop completely, you know,
letting yourself go and blaming your thigh right at this point,
if you.
Speaker 10 (45:19):
Want to look or be a certain way, I mean,
you have to do the work.
Speaker 12 (45:22):
So as bad as it is, because you know, I
was a huge fatty. Now that there is tri zeppatides
and semi glue tides and all this stuff, I go
and I and I see a friend that's you know, larger,
I go, what are you doing, dude? There's there's solutions now,
you know. And if working out like every single day
was a struggle and you didn't see any results, then
(45:45):
like jump jump on one and then again being on
one has you know opened my eyes, like oh, yeah,
it is true.
Speaker 3 (45:53):
It is portion control. It is the amount of food
that you eat because this stuff doesn't allow you to eat. Yeah,
because as you are uncomfortably full.
Speaker 7 (46:02):
Yeah, well it's giving you what you need.
Speaker 3 (46:04):
Not yet, by the way, not that we don't want
to eat more like you do. It's so good. Well,
my friend, you just can't.
Speaker 12 (46:10):
He goes this all you can eat like dumpling place
at Hakkisan Vegas. It's like on Sunday mornings, and he's
so mad at himself now because I used to be
able to beat the house, but now I don't. But
then it also again like you you really you realize
you really don't need to eat that much to survive.
Speaker 3 (46:29):
That bitch needs to mind her business. My taste buds
might not pay my bills, but neither does she.
Speaker 10 (46:35):
That kind of like encouragement is not going to work
for everyone.
Speaker 3 (46:38):
Yeah, why do I feel attacked as I'm eating my
Starbucks cinnamon pull apart? But wow, this message just hit
me hard as I'm walking on the treadmill I turned
up the speed.
Speaker 9 (46:50):
Yeah, but I think her point is not that you
can't treat yourself. Don't treat yourself all the time and
blame outside factors exactly hereditary or you know, I have
heard thyroids so many times.
Speaker 10 (47:03):
That can be true.
Speaker 11 (47:04):
People are not in your DNA, You're not all going
to be the same size, You're all sort of whatever.
Speaker 7 (47:09):
But you're not.
Speaker 3 (47:10):
Helping, right, yeah, eight seven seven forty four Wooding, you
can send us over to text over to to nine
eighty seven.
Speaker 9 (47:18):
It's also reminding me of the person at the restaurant. Well,
I don't want onions that are raw. I need them grilled,
and I need this on the side. Don't put someone
come on, are you five? Put it in your mouth?
Speaker 10 (47:29):
Oh I do that all the time.
Speaker 3 (47:30):
Now reminded me. Here's another text, Greg. I know apple
fritters are your favorite. Yeah, but I just had a
banana fritter and it was fantastic. They also had blueberry fritters.
Speaker 7 (47:42):
What get over here?
Speaker 3 (47:43):
I've heard of those in my lap blueberry, but never banana.
I'm not heard of the blueberry or the banana. To
get those the store?
Speaker 17 (47:52):
Yeah, this person's texting in from.
Speaker 3 (47:57):
Your text over to two two nine eight seven. Story
in news that class action lawsuit against United and Delta Airlines.
You know the passengers were saying they you know, they
paid for a window seat, or they selected a window seat,
but when they got in a seat, you know, sometimes
the rows don't match up to where the actual windows are,
(48:19):
and so they just had like a wall there. Well,
that that class action lawsuit has officially been filed the
Airlines lawyers. They have motion to dismiss the whole thing,
but as of right now it's it's on trial date
is set for mid twenty seven. Tell the only people
(48:40):
that win in lawsuits are lawyers, right, yeah, that's it,
that's it, eternity. Yeah, I want to ask you something
or ask the room. Now.
Speaker 12 (48:48):
Do you keep on seeing online and they keep on
proposing these stand up seat thy Yeah, I thought that
was a joke, but no, now I keep on seeing
demos of it, and like, if it was a legit thing,
are you four against the stand up seat against?
Speaker 7 (49:04):
I wouldn't do it anymore either.
Speaker 3 (49:07):
So yeah, I mean I would do this stand up
at one point in my life, yes, yeah, but at
this point in my life, no, if it was the
thirty minute flight, I would do a stand up thing.
I don't care if I really had to. Yeah, it
wouldn't just be to say three dollars whatever if it's yeah,
more than a half hour, no way. The suit argues
that a window seat means that you're entitled to sit
(49:28):
next to a actual window, but the Airlines, of course disagree.
They say that a window seat doesn't mean a seat
with a view outside, but rather the word window just
identifies the position of the seat in the row, like
next to the main body of the plane. Well, yeah,
because there's window middle aisle right right right.
Speaker 9 (49:47):
You're totally reshaping language. Call it something else then.
Speaker 7 (49:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (49:50):
They also note that, at least in United's wording, the
window seat doesn't guarantee that the seat will have an
actual window next to it, So it's just gonna be
one of those things they change the wording of stuff.
Speaker 2 (50:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (50:03):
Now, ladies, next time you go through airport security, know this.
They know if you're on your rag, you tell because
the scanners can see it. Of course. Yeah, you know,
like when you go through that thing you put your hands.
Speaker 7 (50:19):
In, he goes, right, what is it doing?
Speaker 3 (50:24):
It's it's it's extra. It knows. That's why I say so.
Like if you have they say take everything out of
your pockets. If you have anything in your pockets, it
puts this little Have you ever seen the monitor on
the other side. No, Yeah, let's just say I I left,
uh you know, I have my pocket full of medication.
Say I just had like a few advillain there. It
(50:46):
would detect that there's a few advilas or a few
something in there that pockets aren't empty, and it would
put this little like highlight area right above that on
my silhouette.
Speaker 7 (50:55):
Oh, like a little box.
Speaker 3 (50:56):
Letting the person who now has to screen me again. No,
this is where to look. This is where we detected something.
So it certainly sees a plug up there. It's in
your body. Yeah, well, here is this chick who's sharing
her story about what happened to her. So I went
through security for TSA and it starts beeping. Looks like
the grass big red.
Speaker 7 (51:15):
Box right on my crush and it was not my pats.
Speaker 18 (51:18):
I asked them.
Speaker 10 (51:19):
I'm like, did you pick up my tampon?
Speaker 13 (51:20):
Like seriously?
Speaker 1 (51:22):
And they're like, oh no, no, no, it's just it
detects extra layers, Like why are you lying about it?
Speaker 10 (51:27):
Like that's such a weird thing to lie about, Like
why don't you just tell me that?
Speaker 3 (51:31):
Yeah, with under tampon.
Speaker 7 (51:32):
They were getting all like hush hushing about it, like
I shouldn't even suggest something like that. It's like, it's life.
Speaker 3 (51:39):
Who cares? I mean, it makes sense for what the
machine's doing. It makes sense like if you're cameling something
and the you know, like it's gonna show up if
the extra layers what a.
Speaker 7 (51:49):
As a matter of fact, yes, yeah, crazy.
Speaker 3 (51:52):
Well there you go. A got a tamp in.
Speaker 9 (51:55):
Do the metal detectors detect underwire from.
Speaker 3 (51:59):
The braw.
Speaker 11 (52:01):
It's never I mean I've never had a detector go
off because of it.
Speaker 7 (52:05):
But have you ever seen the X rays of people farting?
That's hilarious. Oh my god, there's so funny.
Speaker 11 (52:11):
It's like you're in the X ray thing and it's
just like a human you know, skeleton or whatever.
Speaker 7 (52:16):
But then like this little like.
Speaker 3 (52:17):
Green puff comes up. That's not real, so funny.
Speaker 7 (52:23):
It's like heat seeking.
Speaker 3 (52:25):
An X rays, not heat from the airport. It's just
they're very funny videos online. Yeah, it's like a thermal camera.
Yeah yeah, okay, yeah, so x ray that word it.
Speaker 8 (52:42):
I guess I have more questions on the tampon thing, though,
because how are they differentiating drugs that could be up
there shaped like a tampon or tampon.
Speaker 7 (52:50):
It's giving you some ideas.
Speaker 3 (52:51):
Question, Yeah, so you're going to get into your smuggling business?
Check it down. The text over the two ninety seven Hey,
good morning, Daily Mention of Japan. I'm currently driving to
the airport for a three week vacation to Japan. Lucky
me love suck at Woody. That's from Eric Eric. Eric's
(53:13):
on his web guys eight seven four what he sent
your text over to two two nine eight seven The
Woody Show. And we are getting underway with another new
hour insensitivity training for a politically correct world. Body. That's great, gory,
(53:34):
Hi menace, it is right, Neil, What is up Woody?
Jinny Grand Chef c Bass I can I'm getting more smell. Yeah,
I'm getting more smelling of it. He's preparing a unique
I don't think anybody in this room has ever had
a turkey prepared this way before. He says that. Yeah,
(53:56):
I'm the only one who knows what he's doing. Yeah,
he told me, And I told you. I'm intrigued. Really okay,
I'm intrigued. I have a guess, but I'll leave it
twice so you do, I do. I texted text it
to me. Okay, I'll tell you if you're if you're
hot or cold, all right. I don't know if he's
doing the whole because he's got that flamethrower that he bought.
(54:18):
I'm not sure if he's crisping it that way or
how it was prepared. So he's said in the microwave
turkey thing before. Yeah, you're incorrect, incorrect, that turn ducking
would be oh sevi no no, nope, no idea man, okay,
because it was so off track. The way he's cooking
(54:40):
it is right, it's it's the preparation.
Speaker 7 (54:44):
So I was cooking.
Speaker 3 (54:46):
Yeah, okay, okay, well it's coming up. He's he's still
working on He just handed out some plates and everything,
so he must be closed.
Speaker 7 (54:55):
I just sent you one more text.
Speaker 10 (54:56):
Yeah, I sent you one too.
Speaker 3 (54:58):
Let's see if any of you guys are right. The
seasoned with buck shots.
Speaker 7 (55:02):
Yeah, they have those buckshots that are seasoned.
Speaker 3 (55:05):
What is that?
Speaker 7 (55:05):
So when you shoot the animal, it's like now it's mesquite.
Oh now it's barbecue flavor boiling it. Yeah, no, I
don't think it would be good.
Speaker 3 (55:17):
Oh yeah. We were talking about, you know, things that
people don't want to discuss, like bad guess, like the
people that you don't want at Thanksgiving and things that
you don't want to talk about. So this is like
the the official lists. Stay away from this stuff that
you know nobody wants to hear about. Politics money, appearance
(55:39):
or weight. Oh got a little big huh? Life's good. Huh. Look, religion,
don't talk about your ex mental health. Nobody cares work
or career issues. Like work is fine. People always like, hey,
how's working. That's different. But we were just discussing somebody
that we that we know who all they do is
(56:01):
complain about never end. That's it. I mean, like that
is the one topic and there's always a story. It's NonStop.
Personal struggles, your current relationship status, other family members, you know,
just like let's just get together and let's let's eat.
Speaker 11 (56:18):
Yeah, if you want to discuss your own relationship ship status,
that's fine.
Speaker 7 (56:22):
But if someone's always like so and you get married
or when you get that kind.
Speaker 3 (56:26):
Of that kind of thing. If you're excited about you know,
like you're planning a wedding.
Speaker 10 (56:29):
Or whatever, great, that's fun.
Speaker 3 (56:31):
You can talk about that. Why don't you think you're
going to settle down? When people start getting nosy?
Speaker 7 (56:36):
I guess, so are you dating anybody?
Speaker 3 (56:38):
Right?
Speaker 17 (56:39):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (56:40):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (56:40):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (56:40):
So what do you show? Food news? Thanksgiving? Desserts that
you can get at costo, no baking required, right, because
you just go so the Kirkland signature pumpkin cheesecake with
whip topping. That sounds good. So it's a pumpkin cheese cake.
It's got the Graham crack your crust and the whole
thing and a pumpkin spiced whipped topping. Yeah, that's the
(57:03):
one that I've been talking about. Yeah, that one looks good.
I think you're gonna pick that up. The Kirkland Signature
Chocolate Moose Dessert. It's a crumbly chocolate basedic layer of
chocolate moose chocolate ganache on the top, and its like
these little, you know, pre portioned sizes, so you know
you can give everybody.
Speaker 9 (57:24):
Throw'd be fun to mix it up with something chocolate.
Speaker 3 (57:27):
But it's easy to display, greg, So you know, it's
like display because it's presentation, right, because you got people
coming over. You want to look cool. You take it
out of the package and just set on to the
Kirkland signature apple pie right because they had it. Okay,
there's that. The the crem Brewlet bar cake.
Speaker 7 (57:44):
I'm listening.
Speaker 3 (57:45):
Yeah, So it's got layers of vanilla sponge cake custard
filling and a crunchy sugar layer on the bottom, and
then of course the pie that got stolen here the
signature pumpkin pie so good you want.
Speaker 10 (57:58):
To steal it?
Speaker 3 (58:00):
Well, don't forget chocolate chip cookies too, just you know
those are good. They have the big cookies. But the
one I like the I like the tub of the
little mini fresh big chocolate chip cookies that they got there. Man,
those are good in there too, Yeah, them them is good.
Now the official list of favorite pies, like overall, pumpkin
(58:23):
is number one, for sure, normal by the numbers things.
So you may have a different opinion, but I'm saying
this is just what the people like. Yeah, this is
just the way the world is, okay. Pumpkin pie, apple pie,
pecan pie, sweet potato pie. No, do you.
Speaker 10 (58:40):
Guys actually taste the difference between pumpkin and sweet.
Speaker 3 (58:43):
Yest cherry pie. Cherry pie is my favorite pie with
my husband, berry pie, key lime pie, cream pie first
of all, cream pie, peach pie, and then peanut butter pipes.
Speaker 7 (58:59):
Yeah, yeah, I don't know chocolate cream. I don't think
pecan pie is all that neither.
Speaker 3 (59:04):
It's good, it's all right, it's all right, I'll eat it,
but it's got to be the only pie there.
Speaker 9 (59:10):
Yeah, the pie that I think is it's all right
apple pie.
Speaker 1 (59:13):
I'm with you.
Speaker 11 (59:14):
I agree if it's warmed warm, it.
Speaker 9 (59:18):
Has to be the same ratio with the ice cream
to the mode. Yeah, without it, I would probably skip it.
Speaker 7 (59:25):
You're actually crazy. I'm with you.
Speaker 8 (59:27):
So really, I'm concerned you're not eating the right apple pie.
Speaker 7 (59:30):
That's very possible.
Speaker 4 (59:32):
You know.
Speaker 3 (59:32):
Morgan loves to rate things on a scale one to ten.
I'm gonna make a I'll just make a quick list
and then uh and then we'll get We'll get your take,
because I know how much you love she. She just
you know, she has to do it. It's just in her,
in her dna.
Speaker 10 (59:47):
It's like my tic Yeah yeah.
Speaker 3 (59:50):
Yeah, like a turkey, just you know, turkey on a
scale one to ten.
Speaker 10 (59:55):
Seven out of ten, because most of the time it's
too damn dry.
Speaker 3 (59:57):
I feel like a lot of people have been hating
there's two lately. I'm a lot more not hate, but
just I'm surprised people say to me that the turkey
is the worst part. I go now, I don't eat
the turkey by itself. I think you definitely use like
either a little bit of gravy or my personal is
I get it a nice little chunk of cranberry there,
(01:00:18):
Greg both. Yeah. And then the bite you put that
with your turkey so good. I love that a couple
of years ago.
Speaker 7 (01:00:26):
Yeah, chicken, right, And.
Speaker 3 (01:00:29):
Then the other thing. I've found more and more people
that say they don't like peanut butter. You know, I'm
just not a peanut butter family, How are you not
a peanut butter?
Speaker 7 (01:00:36):
I don't trust.
Speaker 3 (01:00:37):
That's weird, all right. So seven out of ten on
the turkey's accurate, all right, So we'll uh, we'll get
more on on her one to ten on a couple
of these things, and we'll check in with the with SeaBASS.
I just saw him walk by. I saw it through
the window out there. He had the big domed thing
the present. Yeah, usually when he's bringing in something under
(01:00:58):
a dome. But I think, honestly, I'm telling you guys,
I think I think the majority of the room will
dig what he's doing. And I think it's a pretty
interesting idea, all right, because there's these different stuffings that
you'll see that people are are sharing around online, and
you go, you know what, didn't think about that. I'm
(01:01:18):
not a big fan of the cornbread stuffing.
Speaker 7 (01:01:20):
I'm not either my mom always makes it.
Speaker 9 (01:01:22):
It's not my.
Speaker 3 (01:01:22):
Favorite cornbread stuffing the only good stuffing.
Speaker 10 (01:01:26):
It's good spoiler, but probably eight out of ten it's
the only good.
Speaker 3 (01:01:30):
Yeah, the Trader Joe's box, uh is pretty good. But
what about just regular like stove top? You don't like
You're You're the only person I've met who doesn't like
stove top.
Speaker 12 (01:01:42):
Thats why I'm a little afraid of this food segment
with more.
Speaker 3 (01:01:47):
Yeah, no, it's I mean, okay again, this is just
more like she needs to do it because if we
don't let her do it, she'll do it in the
inappropriate places that just get us in trouble. Like a
healthy way of Yeah, this is a healthy way of
her getting out her one ten ratings. I have to
sit through some bullish I'm gonna be upset.
Speaker 10 (01:02:03):
I definitely will.
Speaker 3 (01:02:04):
All right, So on the turkey, fried or roasted, I've
only had roasted.
Speaker 7 (01:02:09):
You tried fried turkey, Yeah, you got it.
Speaker 3 (01:02:13):
You gotta get it right though you can. You can
still screw up a fried turkey the same way you
could screw up other than roasted.
Speaker 7 (01:02:18):
You could screw up a house.
Speaker 3 (01:02:20):
Yeah, that's the other thing.
Speaker 10 (01:02:21):
I don't know any cooking.
Speaker 3 (01:02:22):
You can get it from Popeyees. You can and it's
not great. I did it. I did it one year.
It was all right, like yeah, but like I've also
gotten the fried turkey from other legit places really good
over the top, like that one place Ken Rix. Yeah,
Ken Ricks is man so good? Wrong there eight seven
seven forty four Wooding. And then if there's something you
(01:02:44):
like to see on Morgan's Won the ten list, you
just texted over to two two nine eight seven, and
then we'll see what Sea Bass has. Sea Bass is
preparing a turkey for us, and it's in a way
that I've I've never seen it done before, Like this
turkey he is. This is unique. Wait, this is a
new thing. I've heard about a lot of things over
(01:03:04):
the years, but I think you guys are gonna like it.
We'll get that come up next year the WOI Show,
Hang on the.
Speaker 14 (01:03:10):
Show, and once again chefs Bass on the job is
he has brought in his his domed presentation platter.
Speaker 3 (01:03:31):
Somebody did somebody did mention? Uh when we posted the
other video, oh from the Taste drive, Like you know what,
I gotta give it the Sea Bass like they I
think the Sea Bass is a jerk, and all the
things that you say are true. But uh, I do
appreciate the fact that like he gets into the jacket and.
Speaker 5 (01:03:50):
Going close what the covers, it's a close.
Speaker 3 (01:03:58):
That's what that's called a dome. I don't know's I've
not heard that word before. You don't watch chopped, I
haven't heard either. But makes the extra effort, which does
all right. So again, I'm the only person that knew
(01:04:21):
what SeaBASS was going to be preparing here, which made
pretty much everybody else in the room kind of nervous.
And I said, man, you know, I'm I'm intrigued. I
can't wait. And now that you guys can now that
you guys can smell like okay, so okay, So based
on just what you smell different, okay, just based on
what you smell, what would you guess, Like, how would
(01:04:42):
you guess that sea beasts prepared this turkey?
Speaker 10 (01:04:45):
Is there any other animal in it?
Speaker 3 (01:04:49):
That's kind of an open ended question.
Speaker 7 (01:04:51):
Technically yes, maybe, like I.
Speaker 10 (01:04:53):
Was going to guess it smells like duck ducks.
Speaker 3 (01:04:58):
No, no, it's not listening, I don't know what you
know what your duck is? Okay?
Speaker 7 (01:05:10):
And duck inside a turkey inside of a chicken.
Speaker 3 (01:05:16):
Together, But which which is inside? Which is the duck
inside the chicken? Is the chicken inside the duck, because
then the whole things inside the turch.
Speaker 10 (01:05:21):
Chickens inside the duck.
Speaker 3 (01:05:23):
I believe that.
Speaker 11 (01:05:24):
Well, turn duck in so the chicken would be last,
must be a little chicken cornish game, right?
Speaker 3 (01:05:30):
You see ducks looking up?
Speaker 12 (01:05:32):
It's confused now at least there's seven computers in front
of us.
Speaker 3 (01:05:36):
Yes, somebody look it up, like, turn duck in? Is it?
Because I thought it was all inside the turkey?
Speaker 7 (01:05:43):
Noo?
Speaker 3 (01:05:44):
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. So, you know, like nesting dolls.
Speaker 7 (01:05:47):
Right exactly, just trying to figure out the.
Speaker 3 (01:05:49):
Smallest would be what that would be the duck, right
or maybe not? The duck's bigger. So me, chicken inside
of a duck inside of a turkey, that's what? Okay,
du chicken?
Speaker 13 (01:05:59):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:06:00):
Wow, we are pretty dumb, we don't, that's the question.
Yeah all right? So well the smell it's you know,
it sounds like a like a it's a familiar like meat.
Now go down that road a little bit. What could
he possibly have used in pairing in bearing the turkey meat?
(01:06:25):
Based what did you use like meat? Wait?
Speaker 7 (01:06:29):
What ribs?
Speaker 3 (01:06:30):
Turkey rib? He made a make rib turkey.
Speaker 5 (01:06:37):
Yeah, I'm just show the ribs right now.
Speaker 3 (01:06:45):
It's not that complicated.
Speaker 5 (01:06:46):
I thought to myself, well what goes into Well first time,
I thought, oh, hey, McRib is back, let's have something.
Speaker 3 (01:06:52):
I'll pass that around guys.
Speaker 7 (01:06:53):
All okay, can I say? Can I can I confess
I never had one?
Speaker 3 (01:06:58):
Well that's what we do here, so I do. I
do enjoy the mcgrib.
Speaker 6 (01:07:03):
Now.
Speaker 3 (01:07:03):
I don't know how fresh these are.
Speaker 5 (01:07:05):
From last night, but they've been reheated. Okay, all right
now they're good. The McRib is good, Gina.
Speaker 3 (01:07:10):
We're trying to have them once a year on the plate.
They all right? So anyway back to the.
Speaker 5 (01:07:14):
I was thinking mcgrib, I was like, okay, and where
it's also turkey time. Well, what's stuffing?
Speaker 7 (01:07:19):
Bread, onions, garlic, something.
Speaker 3 (01:07:24):
Like a sausage or meat or exactly a sausage we've
heard about like the white Castle stuffing? Yes, oyster so bread.
Speaker 5 (01:07:32):
Meat, Well, what's in the McRib bread, meat, onions, pickles, sauce.
So that's my next So that's what you're eating. You're
eating the grib, right, now is your as your appetizer.
But I thought to myself, well, what if I just
took mcgribs, chopped them up and threw them in a
turkey and stuff the turkey with mcgribs.
Speaker 3 (01:07:50):
What And that's what we're doing alright. What do you
think your first taste of ever of a McRib?
Speaker 7 (01:07:57):
Pretty good?
Speaker 3 (01:07:59):
Mcruyt.
Speaker 7 (01:08:00):
I would have more flavor. Its good.
Speaker 3 (01:08:03):
It has the sauce on it, that's the flavor. What
part of it?
Speaker 13 (01:08:07):
Like?
Speaker 3 (01:08:07):
What are you not the rib?
Speaker 7 (01:08:09):
The meat?
Speaker 3 (01:08:10):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:08:11):
Good? Good?
Speaker 10 (01:08:13):
It's like a hammer.
Speaker 7 (01:08:16):
Is this the original bread it comes on? Yea, Oh,
this bread is very fancy. No, no, no, it's like
a bag get.
Speaker 3 (01:08:24):
It's what they used for the nice bread, very nice bread,
very nice bread. Loving the make rib? So far is it?
Or is it just resting? Do you need time to
carve it up? Well, we'll start with the stuffing first.
Speaker 12 (01:08:42):
Okay, Now did you cook this at your house or
did you find out illegal oven in the building?
Speaker 5 (01:08:48):
Now I knew that question would come up. Geez presentation
like rib on top of this?
Speaker 3 (01:08:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (01:08:57):
Something which is a great idea because the pro chefs
say that you should always put something on the plate
that represents what's in it, right, says as you.
Speaker 5 (01:09:05):
See as we pass this around here, well I should say,
why don't we just get a pass me plates.
Speaker 3 (01:09:10):
And yeah, there's a burrito place by my house and
they'll do that with so whatever, excuse me. Whatever the
protein is on the inside, they have like a little
like a piece of it on top of the brito
with a little toothpick. Smart, smart menace.
Speaker 5 (01:09:23):
Rais is a very good question because the number one
problem with turkeys is is salmon Miller's.
Speaker 3 (01:09:28):
Yeah, So what I did is.
Speaker 5 (01:09:31):
I went out and bought and you can buy these
different versions smoked or whatever. But they sell fully cooked turkeys,
yes they do, butterball and all that kind of stuff.
So if you just want to literally just reheat it,
you know that you you throw it in the oven
at whatever three fifty or whatever, wait till the interior
interior or internals gets I think they said between one
thirty and one forty is what it says on the
on the bag. And so that way, you know you're
(01:09:53):
cutting down your salmonilla content, wait, way down, because it's
already cooked number one not one dred percent gone.
Speaker 3 (01:09:58):
But yeah never zeer ound, yeah better, but.
Speaker 5 (01:10:02):
Yeah, but your chances of killing yourself are way way
way way lower.
Speaker 3 (01:10:06):
Way less. Now, did you use your your flamethrower or
all the the the Boring Company and the Elon Musk Company.
A number of years ago they were selling these flamethrowers,
and SeaBASS bought one. He's got to hanging up on
his wall in his apartment like how some people might mouth,
like a deer rack or something pressing chicks. Yes, yeah,
(01:10:27):
so did you use.
Speaker 1 (01:10:28):
That at all?
Speaker 3 (01:10:28):
Chris? I've got it with me. It's in the studio
as we speak.
Speaker 5 (01:10:31):
But it wasn't not necessary because I think the stuffing
is what I'm really focused on from this one. Okay,
I could throw it, pull it on, see if he
sat off the fire alarm?
Speaker 3 (01:10:39):
So what else is in this stuffing?
Speaker 2 (01:10:40):
Again?
Speaker 3 (01:10:40):
So what I did?
Speaker 5 (01:10:41):
So I did is I took the mcribs, chopped him up,
and then I took to make it stuffing y as
Greg would say.
Speaker 3 (01:10:45):
No, I took a bite of it before he told
me what's in it? Oh okay, because you know sometimes
how I am mental stuff.
Speaker 5 (01:10:50):
Right, So I took the stuffing stuff like a Stofer's
style with all the herbs and stuff threw that a
stick of butter and melted all that down and then
soaked and then drizzled that over and and tossed the
mcribs in.
Speaker 3 (01:11:02):
The buttery stuffing is so good. This is the bread
from the McRib.
Speaker 5 (01:11:08):
Yeah, that's that is just that's McRib also again pickles onions.
Speaker 3 (01:11:13):
But you crapped on the stuff top. But what do
you think of this?
Speaker 10 (01:11:16):
I'm loving that.
Speaker 7 (01:11:16):
Oh yeah, this is crispity.
Speaker 5 (01:11:20):
Yeah, I'll say that's I think that's what What puts
it over is the buttery stuffing.
Speaker 3 (01:11:25):
It's very pickle for Wow, how do we get rib stuffing?
Is literally just I literally just gave it to you,
but we need to print it out. You don't want
to have to write it down and then post it online.
And I said, like.
Speaker 5 (01:11:45):
What I was asking for, it's like for you to
write it down, chop up mcgribs, add butter and herbs,
cran and turkey.
Speaker 3 (01:11:50):
Basically, you don't want to write that down. It's too hard. Yeah,
this is good. It tastes more like stuffing than ribs.
Speaker 8 (01:11:59):
Yeah, tastes very McDonald's forward though, and I taste it.
But if McDonald's were to make a stuffing. This would
be it, and it's delicious for something.
Speaker 3 (01:12:07):
Like I said, the White Castle stuffing was a big
deal for a while. This this might be the next thing.
I undertones, especially if mcribs he's and coincides with right,
because it usually does, because I think the ribs is
just typically an October thing. It's so good, well, very
buttery that helps a lot.
Speaker 5 (01:12:26):
That's mcruly andy Again, I cut way down on all
these semonillars by getting everything's pre cooked. Mcgribs are pre cooked,
the turkey's pre cooked. All I'm doing is heating and
checking the temperature. Smart and another behind another one, another
hit on his hands. The whole thing is Delilah, we
believe still our pumpkin pie from Costco.
Speaker 3 (01:12:45):
Yeah, unbelievable. I mean, the nerve of her. She's got
like a million dollars. What's her net worth grade? Do
you ever look it up? Of course I did. I
knew he had to, so you know, the the radio
host Delilah, she was walking around here the other day
retirement to her and that we had put the Costco
pumpkin pie that SeaBASS had bought because there was only
like a couple of slices that we're taking out because
(01:13:06):
we had already eaten so much for the taste. Drive
actually put it in the refrigerator to have it the
next morning. Next morning we're there the morning after Delilah's visit.
The whole damn thing is gone. Yeah. Now we put
stuff in there all the time, and not that people
like don't move something or don't do very rarely do
you ever have something that just completely disappears like that,
(01:13:27):
And so the only X factor here, yeah, and so
the only the only difference between the people who are
normally rummaging around this place and Delilah. So we're convinced
that Delilah stall the pumpkin pie, and we're waiting for
her response.
Speaker 5 (01:13:43):
If you could pass that was behind me there on
the table there. I was just happy to be a
target getting butter. And I saw these.
Speaker 7 (01:13:48):
Cutest little mini pumpkin pans.
Speaker 9 (01:13:52):
In fact.
Speaker 3 (01:13:54):
Are so cute.
Speaker 7 (01:14:01):
They do look.
Speaker 3 (01:14:03):
Real dark.
Speaker 8 (01:14:06):
It's yeah, alright, it looks like a little keiche pumpkin pie.
Speaker 3 (01:14:13):
Morgan o y a little, I thought you that looks
like a little quief.
Speaker 9 (01:14:17):
What do you want to play a quick high low
game with a Delilah Networth oh this is just you.
So give me an opening bit. I'll tell you higher lower,
and it's a speed round.
Speaker 14 (01:14:25):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (01:14:25):
Delilah's net worth, let's put it at forty five million
dollars higher.
Speaker 9 (01:14:34):
What I mean this is based on what you get
on the internet doing higher fifty five millions lower, fifty correct.
Speaker 3 (01:14:42):
Doing radio love songs. It's a lot of pie for
thirty five years. Good for good for her. Yeah right,
these are very like da moist a good. Usually when
you buy a little crap little mini individuals, that's very boring.
These target cells es huh. Yeah. And they're having financial
issues as how, maybe they don't have to worry out
about them. There's stuffing rules.
Speaker 10 (01:15:06):
Martin.
Speaker 3 (01:15:07):
All right, So people have been texting in for Morgan
her one to ten her you know, she loves to
rate things on a scale one to ten problem her obsession. Yeah,
and it's all Thanksgiving themed item. So I'm gonna finish
this big bite of the mini pumpkin pie.
Speaker 4 (01:15:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:15:23):
We'll come back and then, uh, and then we'll see
based on what people have been sending in on the
text SoC.
Speaker 2 (01:15:29):
Sports with the gee Jeff go ye, Hey.
Speaker 3 (01:15:34):
What's popping?
Speaker 19 (01:15:35):
Jeff g Good morning, Wood You show. It was a
return of Lebron James last night and the.
Speaker 3 (01:15:40):
Lakers were cooking. Listen to this.
Speaker 5 (01:15:42):
Comes to lone.
Speaker 20 (01:15:45):
Bye, Dodgers trying to fight Labron Lacre.
Speaker 19 (01:15:54):
Yes, even Brownie got in on the action. Lakers beat
the Jazz one forty one twenty six. Have to say
not a lot of defense. Lebron had eleven points and
twelve assists, Luca thirty seven, Reeves twenty six, and DeAndre
eight and twenty points.
Speaker 3 (01:16:08):
Lakers are off until Sunday.
Speaker 21 (01:16:10):
Now.
Speaker 19 (01:16:11):
Lebron is the first player in NBA history to play
in season twenty three.
Speaker 3 (01:16:15):
And you know he recently sat.
Speaker 19 (01:16:17):
Down on his podcast with Steve Nash and talked to
Steph Curry and the big question was will Lebron and
Steph play in the twenty twenty eight Olympics here in
Los Angeles?
Speaker 3 (01:16:26):
You already know my answer? Oh you do? You for there?
I'll be watching this in comment You've been plenty of Olympics. Well, yes, man,
I'm done on I think he might. I'd never say never,
but I highly dote it.
Speaker 22 (01:16:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:16:38):
At that point, Siatika might not be his only problem. Man.
Speaker 19 (01:16:41):
Moving on to the NHL tonight, Bruins in Anaheim taking
on the First Place Ducks last night USA Soccer bet
Uruguay five to one. And finally this morning, what do
you show? The WNBA dropped the CBA proposal. That's a
collective Bargaining agreement proposal that would increase the maximum salary
from two hundred and fifty grand to more than one
zero point one million dollars for players.
Speaker 3 (01:17:02):
That's a big increase. Hopefully that push us through. I'm
Jeff G and that's your so cal sport, Jeff. All right, So, uh,
these are some of the things that people text it
over to us. Morgan on a scale of one to ten,
and again we know how obsessed you are. Everything is like,
(01:17:24):
well i'd give that like a six. Well we weren't ampter,
but I mean she just can't help herself what she does.
And so this is like you have to let people
get it out of the system, otherwise they'll do it
in places and situations inappropriate, inappropriate, and uh yeah, instead
of we end up having the old dad headache. So
this is just so this is good for everyone involved,
right yeah, And actually I kind of blame you in
(01:17:45):
a lot of way for the whole like six seven.
Speaker 10 (01:17:48):
You know what, we play a clip too, and I
didn't know at the time what I was saying.
Speaker 3 (01:17:53):
Yeah, see, I think you kind of I think you
kind of started it. Really.
Speaker 7 (01:17:56):
Oh you're the reason that kids are terrorizing everybody.
Speaker 3 (01:18:00):
You were rating something a six or a seven. Yeah, yeah,
and I think that's kind of where it started. Yeah,
Thanksgiving Thanksgiving items. All right, So turkey you said, legit eight?
Speaker 2 (01:18:13):
Right? Oh?
Speaker 3 (01:18:14):
Seven? Seven? Okay?
Speaker 10 (01:18:15):
Seven good, but it could be a ten if it's
cooked perfectly, but it's usually not.
Speaker 3 (01:18:19):
The corn bread stuffing is what you were saying, was
the let me eat some turkey? Is the turkey that
Sea Bass prepared? How would you rate that with mcgrid stuffing?
Speaker 10 (01:18:29):
It's an eight.
Speaker 3 (01:18:31):
That's a little bit better than what you would give
regular turkey, regular drive bress. Yeah, all right, if it's
not turkey, a lot of people will go with ham.
What are you giving ham on a scale of one
to ten?
Speaker 10 (01:18:41):
It's so drive stuck in my girl? You want some
ham nine out of ten? A ham over turkey?
Speaker 3 (01:18:48):
Are you talking to just like the standard ham or
like one of them honey big joints?
Speaker 10 (01:18:52):
The bonus points of its honey baked with like the
pineapples on.
Speaker 3 (01:18:54):
The top spiral.
Speaker 10 (01:18:57):
Yeah, but I like ham better than turkey.
Speaker 9 (01:19:00):
Okay, you get like one one hundredth of an inch
of that honey stuff.
Speaker 3 (01:19:03):
Yeah good. Yeah, but they sell a lot of their
little like sauces for the side. I forget what the
one I like. It's like a it's like a darker
almost looks like a caramel kind of thing. My mom
would always buy it when she would get that honey
bagd tan stuff, and it was really good.
Speaker 7 (01:19:15):
I didn't know it came with a sauce.
Speaker 3 (01:19:16):
It doesn't come with a sauce, but they when you
go to pick it up, they sell it looks like
little like almost like jelly jars, you know, of drizzle
on the slice. Yeah, yeah, the drizzle on there. Good?
All right. Mashed potatoes, oh, ten out of ten, thank you?
Speaker 10 (01:19:31):
I mean they're just so good.
Speaker 3 (01:19:32):
Yes, Now, gravy, I'm assuming, Yeah, gravy.
Speaker 10 (01:19:35):
I'm giving it a six out of ten.
Speaker 7 (01:19:36):
I like it.
Speaker 10 (01:19:37):
But if it's set a Thanksgiving and I'm, you know,
loading up my own plate, I'm probably not even gonna
get it.
Speaker 3 (01:19:42):
So you don't put anything on the mashed potatoes.
Speaker 10 (01:19:44):
God, no, really, If I'm feeling crazy, I'll get like,
you know, peas in the middle.
Speaker 3 (01:19:49):
I'm kind of with you on this one.
Speaker 10 (01:19:50):
Yeah, I'm with you too. Go to the mashed potatoes. Good,
it should be eating alone.
Speaker 3 (01:19:54):
I mean, I'll put the I'll put the gravy on
the mashed potatoes, but I won't put the gravy on
the turkey because I'm again I'm a cranberry turkey go
but the turkey needs it. Cranberry sauce. Greg and I
have opinions on this.
Speaker 10 (01:20:08):
In the can. That's an eleven out of ten.
Speaker 3 (01:20:12):
That's what Greg and I've been saying. Made cranberry is
just gosh home made cranberry can eat my balls.
Speaker 10 (01:20:20):
Jelly one with like chunks in it.
Speaker 3 (01:20:22):
Either doesn't matter as.
Speaker 7 (01:20:24):
One asked to bring like homemade cranberry sauce. And I never.
Speaker 3 (01:20:30):
Said ocean spray in trouble.
Speaker 10 (01:20:32):
As a kid, just eating straight out of the can.
Speaker 3 (01:20:35):
Okay, green bean casserole.
Speaker 10 (01:20:37):
I'm giving it a six out of ten. I like it.
Speaker 7 (01:20:40):
It's a bad rep but at least an eight out
of ten.
Speaker 10 (01:20:43):
You guys like it.
Speaker 3 (01:20:44):
It's very it's polarizing. Yeah, I like it, just which
I never really saw it as polarizing until oh my god,
just stuff flame floor thrower falling out of versus flame thrower.
Speaker 7 (01:20:57):
You want to move.
Speaker 3 (01:20:59):
So we asked the question recently, which one would you ban?
Asking listeners which one they would ban? Uh, and sweet
potatoes in general got a lot of Like, so yams
and then sweet potato cast roll both got panned hard.
Speaker 10 (01:21:12):
Rid of psychopath, Gina, Get rid of it, dude, And
that's why finally gets whipped this out.
Speaker 3 (01:21:17):
Got my jam?
Speaker 10 (01:21:18):
Sure, I don't even because yams and sweet potatoes are
the best Thanksgiving food ever really, no matter how you
prepare them all year mash.
Speaker 3 (01:21:28):
So what about the ones? Again? If I'm gonna have them,
it has to be the kind of have like the
it's a it's a sweet potato cast rolls, so it's
got the marshmallows that are on the top of it.
Speaker 10 (01:21:37):
Yes, I like it any which way, just don't put
pecans in that market.
Speaker 3 (01:21:40):
Yeah, but what's so, what's your favorite? If you you
need to pick your big yam fan sweeptato? What do
you do?
Speaker 10 (01:21:45):
My favorite?
Speaker 1 (01:21:46):
Wait?
Speaker 10 (01:21:46):
Preparation, preparation, just like roasted sweet potato with like butter.
Speaker 9 (01:21:51):
No marshmallows are so trashy. I make it with maple syrup,
brown sugar butter.
Speaker 10 (01:21:57):
That's good. Nor potato pie shmallow sweeptato out of ten
best pie for things.
Speaker 3 (01:22:03):
Just a couple more that came in on the On
the Take again Morgan loving rating things on a scale
of one of the ten.
Speaker 10 (01:22:09):
It's like oxygen for her panties. Right now.
Speaker 3 (01:22:11):
Brussels sprouts, you guys are.
Speaker 10 (01:22:13):
Gonna hate me. Ten out of ten yeasted, freaking.
Speaker 3 (01:22:17):
Love Brussels sprout, Right, It just depends on the presentation.
I like it with the you know, the roasted but
that they do that drizzle of like ah, that's what
I'm talking about.
Speaker 10 (01:22:26):
I like them extra well done, like a little bacon,
but don't need too many. I've done that and you
get real gas took place recently.
Speaker 3 (01:22:34):
And we are excited, like, oh cool because something my
wife and I agree on. As far as an appetizer
or whatever, they bring up the roasted Brussels sprouts, right,
and uh, they brought it out and had like I've
seen this before. Instead of like a balsamic, they'll use
like almost like a maple. I don't like that, right, Yeah,
I mean, I'm sure there's a lot of people that
like it. But yeah, if you.
Speaker 10 (01:22:54):
Do it with honey, it's pretty good.
Speaker 3 (01:22:56):
Yeah, like mac and cheese ten nine out of ten nine. Yeah,
you know what about deviled eggs. A lot of people
put deviled eggs out there.
Speaker 7 (01:23:07):
They have to be I.
Speaker 10 (01:23:07):
Think we talked about this minute, so they have to
be setting out as an appetizer, like while I'm waiting
for the food to become Yes, it's not part of
the meal.
Speaker 3 (01:23:15):
And then and then the dinner rolls. Okay, because this
also seem to be like on the on the text
you know where you know, people are like, I don't
you could spare me the dinner roll because there's so
many because there's so many other things. Because you have
mashed potatoes, you have all the stuffing potato dinner roll. Dude,
(01:23:36):
it's like pasta in a bread ball. It's just it's redundant.
One out of ten one.
Speaker 10 (01:23:40):
And the only bread that should be allowed for Thanksgiving
is corn bread. Corn bread that should be the only
bread allowed.
Speaker 3 (01:23:46):
Oh you put some Hawaiian up in there. No, so good.
Speaker 10 (01:23:48):
Corn bread only well Morgan, thank you very much, thank
you for letting me get it out.
Speaker 3 (01:23:52):
Very controversial, a little insightful, good. All right, So you
guys want to give away some of these alter ego tickets,
It all right, some talk back on the iHeart Radio app.
Just to open up the iHeart Radio app, type in
all ninety eight to seven. And then what you're gonna
(01:24:15):
do is you're gonna tell us what's the worst holiday
gift you've ever got? And if you could just give
us your name and you know where you're from, they
just make it easier on us. Yeah. I'm not like
absolute half to necessary, but if you want to be nice, yeah,
and I would think you'd want to because we're the
ones who get to decide exactly. All right, So what's
(01:24:36):
the worst gift that you've gotten for the holidays? Here's
our first option, more than what.
Speaker 21 (01:24:42):
Show worst holiday gift I got was at a church
white elephant gift exchange.
Speaker 2 (01:24:48):
I was a freshman high school and.
Speaker 21 (01:24:50):
Opened up at diaper had a butterfinger that had melted
inside I liter. We thought it was poop for about
the first minute, and we follow were smelling it and
I was he devastated since everyone else was getting gift
cards and cool other gadgets.
Speaker 2 (01:25:05):
But hey, that's a fun memory, all right, That's.
Speaker 7 (01:25:12):
That you got trolled.
Speaker 3 (01:25:13):
Yeah that sucks though, Like if everybody's if everybody else
is opening up a bunch of different Oh, I'm just
talking to uh to somebody, and they were talking about
the same kind of thing where there was a company party.
Everybody was like opening up and getting like whatever it
was that because they reached it and selected gas cards,
you know, Visa, Cash Cars, Amazon Car like all this
(01:25:37):
really good stuff. And he pulled it out, uh, you
know whatever he got and it was like a membership
to like some museum, but it was for one Yeah. Yeah,
I forget what the museum was, but it was it
was something really lame that yeah, not even the auto museum. No,
(01:26:01):
no trade you Yeah, everyone's getting like two hundred dollars
you know gas cards rule. Yeah, and he got a
museum membership, So get him free admission to whatever the
museum was for one year by yourself for one all right.
So next one, let's see.
Speaker 20 (01:26:19):
Worst Christmas gift ever? A kid on knitting your own
Christmas sweater. I don't even knick what are we gonna
do with this thing? Where do I have time?
Speaker 3 (01:26:33):
Thanks guys, I have a good day, all right? Thanks man?
Still Matt, Yeah, all right, although Sammy probably like that.
Speaker 10 (01:26:39):
I would, Yeah, but if you don't knit, it makes
no sense.
Speaker 14 (01:26:43):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (01:26:43):
And then here one more so.
Speaker 4 (01:26:46):
I was in San Francisco watching the World Series, and
on my way back home I got keep voted by
a taxi. That Christmas, my aunt bought me a driver's
ed DBB, like a sick Driver's safety course on dvdn't
even get a ticket or anything if it wasn't my fault. Yeah,
that was the worst gift I ever got.
Speaker 3 (01:27:04):
Okay, so hilarious it was.
Speaker 7 (01:27:08):
That's funny, that's oh, that's so random.
Speaker 3 (01:27:11):
All right, votes around the room. Who do you think
should get the Alter Ego tickets? Just from this round,
we're getting a lot of people talking about their worst gifts.
Send yours on the talkback feature on the iHeartRadio app.
But which one I will vote for? Number three?
Speaker 9 (01:27:24):
By default White elephant gifts are supposed to be stupid
and garbage. Number two, You could at least regift that.
Speaker 7 (01:27:31):
That's what I was gonnay.
Speaker 9 (01:27:31):
Number three, what a dumb thing. Take that DVD and
chuck it.
Speaker 3 (01:27:36):
See my votes for three?
Speaker 7 (01:27:38):
Yeah, yeah, same, And for the same reason. The diaper
is kind of funny. The sweater kit.
Speaker 11 (01:27:43):
At least you can give it to someone else and
that saves you, you know, a thirty dollars gift. So
it's got to be the driver's head tape.
Speaker 2 (01:27:48):
See.
Speaker 8 (01:27:49):
I think number two because number one, like you said,
white elephants supposed to be weird. Number three there was
actually thought put into that gift, so I wonue appreciate
that the nit your own sweater.
Speaker 7 (01:27:59):
He doesn't, he has no use for it.
Speaker 10 (01:28:01):
There was no thought. So mine goes to number two.
Speaker 12 (01:28:04):
All right, I'm going number one because it's just extra bad.
At least you got the third one.
Speaker 3 (01:28:11):
So what is that? Am I doing?
Speaker 2 (01:28:12):
The mat?
Speaker 7 (01:28:12):
I think I think there's three? Oh wait, no, no,
what what did you vote for?
Speaker 23 (01:28:17):
Three?
Speaker 3 (01:28:17):
Number three? Number three?
Speaker 6 (01:28:21):
Hey?
Speaker 3 (01:28:21):
Number three is the winner? Hey show? All right, so
I guess this would be a side hustle group of
border patrol agents. They were doing their job and uh,
you know, usual car comes through. They stopped the car
(01:28:41):
they started. They found a bunch of monkeys eighteen Macconk's
macas Maconk. They also found a bunch of meth, both
in pill and crystal form. They were arrest of the people,
just took him to jail. They were part of a
wildlife trafficking ring. That it's awful and taken to a habitat.
(01:29:06):
So the monkeys, the monkeys are are fine. But that's
just what you're doing on the side, you know what
I mean. Well, they respect the hustle, like sell it
for thousands and thousands of dollars each just trying to
smuggle a cock.
Speaker 7 (01:29:18):
I would like to know who's buying these into where
the monkeys of.
Speaker 3 (01:29:23):
The country into the country. Thirty five year old guy,
he was down in Mexico. He was getting ready to
cross over into the US and he gets the border customs.
They stop him because they felt something was off with
this guy. Probably had something to do with that suspicious
bulge that he had in his pants. Hot So the
border patrol they pulled him off for the side. They
(01:29:44):
questioned him about the bulge. The guy said, hey, man,
it's just my penis. Yeah, and he was just he
was very insistent it's just my penis. So the agents
they took a closer look and they found two unconscious
parakeets in his underwear. Excuse me, Yeah, the birds are okay,
but the guy he was arrested charge of smuggling and
(01:30:04):
if convicted, it's gonna cost about two hundred and fifty
thousand dollars and potentially twenty years in prison.
Speaker 9 (01:30:11):
Yeh before para, I don't know seven dollars?
Speaker 1 (01:30:16):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:30:16):
Are they made out of cocaine?
Speaker 7 (01:30:18):
And I didn't realize that you would smuggle them in
your underwear?
Speaker 3 (01:30:21):
I don't first to be done.
Speaker 12 (01:30:24):
The bird smuggling thing is so weird to me because
people get caught on planes all the time, like trying
to smuggle turtles.
Speaker 3 (01:30:32):
Turtle but no, no. But also what is it the
like two cans like like grouper exotic Yeah yeah, lamb.
This survey just abnormal by the numbers again, people with
extra you know, side hustles, which I hate that term.
I know, Greg and I are, yeah, but I I
(01:30:53):
know what it is. It says what it is job
side job, like second second job. I guess according to
to all these different people they talked to, thirty one
percent of people so they now have a side job
to go along with their main job. Seventy three percent
of those people motivated by financial need obviously yeah, not
just to stay busy fun. Forty four percent of people
(01:31:16):
are using online sales for their little side gig. Fifty
eight percent of them using you know, peer to peer
platforms like you know, Facebook, Marketplace to do their thing.
Fifty one percent started their little side job in the
last year, thirty nine percent in the last six months.
They said they earn't about an extra five hundred bucks
a month after taxes, and twenty percent said they make
(01:31:38):
over a thousand bucks. That's great, pretty good, that's noteworthy.
And they people on average dedicate they say, fewer than
ten hours a week to whatever they're doing for an
extra grand. Pretty good on the side. Yeah, now, so
that is some of the side work. I mean pay
pretty well. There's some dozens. There's a person that we
(01:32:01):
know that just does it's not nannying, it's it's babysitting
really because just here and there nannying, I believe is
I consider that to be when you're working for one
family and it's like on a daily or almost live
there a few days a week. Not even if you
don't you don't have to necessarily live there, but you're
working for one family and you're there like at least
a few days a week doing whatever it is. Babysitting
(01:32:24):
is like the one off suff and that's what this
person does, like the one off stuff, and they're getting
paid over twenty five bucks an hour.
Speaker 9 (01:32:30):
I still can't even get used to that.
Speaker 7 (01:32:33):
Yeah, and so why we don't do babysitting.
Speaker 3 (01:32:35):
And this person already works for themselves, and so it's
just when they have extra time here and there, parents
will call them up and go, oh, hey, we have
this thing, that thing going on, or hey, could you
do us a favor. Can you go grab you know,
a little Johnny from whatever and bring him over here,
you know, tied up at work and you know, things
like that, And then it's that's good extra money on
(01:32:56):
the side.
Speaker 7 (01:32:56):
I'll do that for twenty five bucks an hour, right,
you can pay some bills.
Speaker 3 (01:32:59):
Yeah, this is this is a person, and this is
a person who in general just likes kids, so doesn't
mind hanging out with them.
Speaker 2 (01:33:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:33:08):
Like we've had some other babysitters. We could tell they
were just there for the paycheck. Yeah, like all right, whatever,
don't burn the house down, just leave me alone. Other
ones who like, they bring stuff, they bring activities craft.
Speaker 7 (01:33:21):
I never really liked babysitting.
Speaker 11 (01:33:22):
I did a lot of it, and I was a
camp counselor so I finally figured out with at least
the little girls, we'd play hair.
Speaker 7 (01:33:26):
Salon and I would just lay on the couch and
make them brush my hair. And he was just so
happy and I kind of like fall asleep, and I'm like,
this is great.
Speaker 3 (01:33:38):
What happened to Morgan's side hustles? She's she's still doing
things here and yeah, she's still applying to some of
those craigslists, those Craigslist opportunities. She needs to figure out
how she can monetize, Like a lot of her free
time is being taken up by boxing. Oh yeah, So
like how could you do something that you want to
(01:33:59):
do and make money off just.
Speaker 7 (01:34:00):
Film it topless and sell it.
Speaker 3 (01:34:03):
Oh, there you go. We've we already talked about the
only fan things for like two years. But that's not
going to happen.
Speaker 7 (01:34:08):
No, it's it's not And it's not a new idea.
Speaker 11 (01:34:11):
She's already boxing, just boxing pasties now, yeah, and what
do your workout?
Speaker 3 (01:34:16):
I just I don't see her doing that happen.
Speaker 10 (01:34:19):
Really at the gym. They're not gonna do that.
Speaker 7 (01:34:21):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:34:22):
Well, she doesn't have a box at the gym.
Speaker 7 (01:34:23):
Yeah, yeah, but she doesn't have her own setup.
Speaker 3 (01:34:25):
I just think there's another way.
Speaker 13 (01:34:27):
What is it?
Speaker 3 (01:34:28):
I don't know. I would have to really take a
look at what she's doing to see if there's a
way that she can make money off of it.
Speaker 12 (01:34:33):
Like she likes posting it on social media. Maybe start
live streaming her sessions or something like that and make
a couple bucks off of it. Yeah, because a lot
of these live TikTok people they're making money.
Speaker 3 (01:34:46):
Well, okay, here's here's here's something we do. Let's uh,
let's open the phonesour woodie. We've done those before. Like, uh,
what do you do and how much do you make?
And not for your full time job, this is for
something you're just doing on the side.
Speaker 7 (01:35:03):
Okay, that's a good idea.
Speaker 3 (01:35:04):
It's it's it's a secondary stream of income, a side hustle,
if I must say it, that's what it is. So
what are you doing just for whatever? Whatever the reason.
Maybe it's because you're saving up for something, you're going
to buy a house at some point, or you're you know,
you just need extra money right now just to make
ends meet, but like whatever it is, in general, yeah,
(01:35:25):
just in general, what are you doing? What are you
doing for a secondary stream of income and then how
much are you making off of it? So it's a
what are you doing? How much do you make? But
for secondary gigs eight seven seven you can also text
if you don't have the time to call in or
rather not call and just just text, you can do
(01:35:46):
that as well. Over to two to nine eighty seven.
So for side gigs side gigs only, it's not your
main source of income side gigs, what do you do
and how much you make in doing it? Might be
able to help some people out this morning. Yeah, help
some people out figure out you know, what they can do.
It's always something. Yeah, Well, we'll get to your calls,
we'll get to some of these text messages which you're
(01:36:07):
already coming through. Very nice. That's next on the Woody Show.
Hang on the show, right, Woody Show. So what's your uh,
what's your secondary stream of income side gig? And then
what are you bringing in on that? Yeah, So people
looking too either you know, save money here where they
(01:36:28):
can or both save money where you can, you know,
add a little extra income to whatever your main gig is.
You got a little extra time, so you want to
bring some extra money in. For different reasons, some people
there's just something they're saving up for other people just
looking to Hey, rather than to sit around and watch TV,
I'd rather be doing something where I got some extra
money coming in for whatever it is it.
Speaker 9 (01:36:48):
H waitybucks you didn't have an hour ago.
Speaker 3 (01:36:50):
Yeah, A lot of people with the one woman she's
making like cake pops and she's selling cake pops. Oh yeah,
I've noticed there's a lot of like people like food
related things like here like Jesse, let's say how to
say how to Jesse? Everybody?
Speaker 21 (01:37:03):
How did you?
Speaker 2 (01:37:07):
All? Right?
Speaker 3 (01:37:07):
So another one with with baking. Okay, so what's your
what's your side gig?
Speaker 2 (01:37:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 22 (01:37:13):
So I opened a home bakery with.
Speaker 3 (01:37:16):
My mom bakery. Now, when you do something like that,
do you have to go through like the health department
codes or like I don't like, how does that work?
Speaker 9 (01:37:26):
Yeah?
Speaker 22 (01:37:26):
So we had to get our cottage food license with.
Speaker 3 (01:37:29):
The county cottage food I like cottage industry, cottage industry. Yeah,
and then what what are you bringing in with with that?
You and your mom?
Speaker 21 (01:37:39):
Uh?
Speaker 22 (01:37:39):
So we do sour dough bread. We also do cookies, muffins, sweetbreads,
and any type of cake.
Speaker 3 (01:37:49):
Basically you say that you do this, but we don't
see any of it. I hear a lot about it,
but I see it in front of me. Yeah, but
you probably don't know where we're at more located.
Speaker 22 (01:38:00):
Car, I know where you guys are at.
Speaker 3 (01:38:04):
You can order, yeah, no order, we can. So how
much do you make doing this?
Speaker 22 (01:38:12):
So we haven't been able to profit yet because we
had a financial backer, so we have to make that
money back first. But we're pretty good. We've averaged about
three hundred and how much three and thirty in sales?
Speaker 3 (01:38:34):
Okay, all right, wait, three hundred and thirty one dollars.
Speaker 22 (01:38:39):
Items?
Speaker 14 (01:38:40):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (01:38:40):
Items?
Speaker 12 (01:38:43):
Okay, Now, how do you it's just like online ordering
or do you send it to a physical place. Are
you providing for like a like a different like restaurant
or stores.
Speaker 22 (01:38:54):
It's online order, Yeah, it's online ordering. We do mostly
through social media right now, Facebook and Instagram.
Speaker 7 (01:39:01):
All well, delivery, good luck.
Speaker 3 (01:39:05):
I appreciate thank you for the for the call. Yeah,
the bakery thing is big. Like here, say hi to Angela, Angela, Hi, Hello,
hello the baking thing. What are you baking and making
and selling?
Speaker 24 (01:39:18):
I do not bake. I actually sell blemed out beads
for like pens crafts.
Speaker 3 (01:39:26):
Okay, beads. All right, So what kind of beads.
Speaker 24 (01:39:32):
Under blened out, bleed out for beads for like pens,
the I y craft.
Speaker 7 (01:39:40):
I mean you could.
Speaker 3 (01:39:43):
Anywhere, I guess.
Speaker 24 (01:39:45):
Really really pretty blemed out beads. And you know, pop
mark is very popular right now. So I have character
toppers for pens and yeah.
Speaker 16 (01:39:55):
So that's what I've been doing.
Speaker 3 (01:39:57):
And what does that bring in?
Speaker 24 (01:39:59):
So actually average about ten grand a month?
Speaker 3 (01:40:02):
Ten Are you just for beads? It's incredible.
Speaker 12 (01:40:07):
Are you just flipping these beads? Like are you getting
them from overseas or something like that? Or you're not
actually making them?
Speaker 4 (01:40:14):
No?
Speaker 24 (01:40:14):
I wish I had that talent. No, I do get
them from overseas and I just resell them at a
higher pe. And and I only do this three to
four hours a day, four days a week.
Speaker 7 (01:40:31):
Yeah, teach a class, Angela.
Speaker 3 (01:40:32):
Thank you for the call. I appreciate you listening. Let's
say how to Natalie? Hey, what's up? Natalie?
Speaker 2 (01:40:36):
Hey?
Speaker 7 (01:40:36):
Natalie?
Speaker 3 (01:40:38):
All right, so we're talking about side gigs. What do
you do in the how much you're making on that?
Speaker 13 (01:40:44):
Well?
Speaker 16 (01:40:44):
I don't make that much, but I do like product testing.
Speaker 3 (01:40:50):
Okay, Yeah, I've heard about that. Yeah, and that's uh.
They just send you stuff, you check it out and
then just to go on like write a survey or
not a start but like a like a review of
kind of thing.
Speaker 16 (01:41:01):
Yeah, and like I tested stuff for Apple. I've tested
right now, I'm testing a printer and it's like a
really big like office printer. But yeah, I can make
like six hundred dollars a month because oh.
Speaker 3 (01:41:14):
Wow, all right's and then how much but how much
time does that take? Like is there is there a
lot of obligation, like they send you something you have
to is there a ton of stuff you.
Speaker 2 (01:41:22):
Have to do?
Speaker 16 (01:41:23):
Or yeah, well I do like this their surveys and
it only it takes me like ten ten minutes a day.
Speaker 7 (01:41:29):
Oh okay, And do you get to keep any other products?
Speaker 5 (01:41:33):
Yeah?
Speaker 16 (01:41:35):
Yeah, well I'm keeping the office printer that I mean,
I could sell it if I want.
Speaker 3 (01:41:39):
Yeah, yeah, that's pretty cool right now, Like thank you
for the call. I appreciate you listening everybody saying hi
to Angel Angel? What angel Angel?
Speaker 2 (01:41:51):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:41:51):
There there is Angel? All right, So side gig, what
do you do?
Speaker 14 (01:41:55):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (01:41:55):
And then how much you bring it in with it?
Speaker 16 (01:41:58):
What I do is I make boo Boo shirts and
I make about two to three.
Speaker 3 (01:42:02):
Thousands like shirts for the Boo Boos.
Speaker 23 (01:42:06):
Yes, I like custom like for sporting games like hockey, football, baseball.
Speaker 3 (01:42:12):
Wow. Okay, talk about capitalizing on on a moment, on
a trend, right yeah? Yeah? And then and what so
what what do you do?
Speaker 4 (01:42:21):
Like?
Speaker 2 (01:42:22):
What?
Speaker 3 (01:42:22):
What's what's your regular job?
Speaker 22 (01:42:24):
I actually have been in the show. I did this before.
I was a hobby as well.
Speaker 23 (01:42:28):
I make dog for dog shows.
Speaker 3 (01:42:31):
Okay, right, right, okay, now I remember. Okay, so you.
Speaker 22 (01:42:38):
Was supposed to give me a callback.
Speaker 13 (01:42:39):
I was gonna take you like stuff.
Speaker 5 (01:42:41):
You guys never did you know you got?
Speaker 3 (01:42:43):
Did you give you the information to Morgan? I bet
you did? Yeah? Okay, yeah, Well you know what, I'm
gonna put you back. I'm gonna put you back on hold,
and then uh Morgan, we're gonna make it. I guarantee
she lost it. So yeah, I'm gonna put you back
on hold, give Morgan your information, will reach out, all right,
and also hook you guys with some shirts off. All right, Angel,
(01:43:05):
thank you for the call. Hang on, don't go anywhere.
Don't go anywhere.
Speaker 7 (01:43:07):
What an enterprising young man.
Speaker 3 (01:43:09):
Yeah, and let's say hi to Matt, Hey, what's up, Matt, Matt.
Speaker 13 (01:43:16):
Hey, what's up?
Speaker 12 (01:43:17):
What do your show?
Speaker 4 (01:43:17):
What up?
Speaker 3 (01:43:18):
All right? So side gig?
Speaker 2 (01:43:19):
What do you do?
Speaker 3 (01:43:20):
And how much you bringing in on it?
Speaker 23 (01:43:23):
So this one I can't take credit for. It's my friend.
He is a paparazzi. So he goes around taking celebrity photos.
He usually wears a go pro and he posts the
go pro footage to YouTube and makes money off of that.
But he also posts that footage to porn hub, and
(01:43:43):
he makes more off the porn hub than he does
off of the YouTube, just.
Speaker 3 (01:43:47):
From celebrities being in public. They're not even.
Speaker 23 (01:43:49):
Naked exactly, and that gets the paid.
Speaker 3 (01:44:00):
See Morgan, there you go. Yeah, that's it. That's you
don't have to get naked. Nobody's even naked, but you
just post it on porn hub and if you got
somebody that'd be worth you know. I guess people searching
a lot. I know they did repshare like that. Yeah,
good to know how menis. Yeah, I guess all right, Matt,
thank you for the call. Appreciated some of the texts.
(01:44:22):
So to two two nine eighty seven. This one said
I used to do uber for a side gig, but
then I found a family that travels often, and now
I just take them to their uh and they're friends
at the airport for about seventy five bucks a trip. Oh,
so cut out the middle man. Yeah, I've I've been.
I've been solicited that way with ride shares before, where
they go, hey, man, if you ever need Yeah, they
(01:44:43):
have the card right all ready to go. I work
part time for the city coaching and refing flag football.
Pays about twenty seven bucks an hour. I constantly have
parents asking for private lessons for their kids, and I'm
not teaching anything with just the basic football skills. I wouldn'
do it catching, running, et cetera.
Speaker 7 (01:45:02):
The parents are so mean and so crazy.
Speaker 3 (01:45:05):
Morgan can totally train little kids on the side doing
you know, MMA for fitness. Parents want anything that'll keep
their kids active. That's not it. You know what would
be cool? Talk about how there's an idea for you, Morgan,
she's going through the phones right now. Yeah, but yeah,
that's not something that she's passionate about. To make money. Yeah,
this one over to two two nine eighty seven. I
(01:45:25):
do dog boarding and pet sitting through Rover as a
as a side gig. It's honestly, not hard, mostly just
feeding walks, making sure that the pups are comfortable. I've
made around ten thousand dollars this year. Yeah, so it's
been really solid extra income for me. There's a lot of.
Speaker 9 (01:45:42):
People with full time jobs that do the Uber stuff.
Speaker 7 (01:45:45):
And Plasma donation.
Speaker 3 (01:45:48):
I collect other people's receipts from restaurants, gas station, groceries, stars,
et cetera, and then I use the apps to turn
it into actual moneym averaging about one hundred and fifty
dollars a week. Oh okay, my son was doing this
for a minute. Time I had a receipt. He was
asking for the receipts so he could take a picture
of it. Uh huh. I don't know if it ever
resulted in anything. I said, what are you doing this for?
He goes, well, depending on what you spend or what
(01:46:09):
you bought, it would equal to these points. The points
are can be turned into gift cards. Yeah.
Speaker 11 (01:46:15):
I don't mean to be rude, but i've oh, I've
only heard them talk about it. I always said, this
is like a crackhead thing, like looking for receipts.
Speaker 3 (01:46:23):
Sounds like it. I've been in the automotive industry for
fifteen years of a technician. Even though I get paid
a decent amount. I build motors and race cars for
track use for clients that find my ad on Facebook marketplace,
and depending on their needs, I can make between twenty
five hundred and eight thousand dollars per bill. That's bank.
The most I've made of the month was back in
(01:46:44):
July fifteen thousand dollars.
Speaker 7 (01:46:46):
That's amazing.
Speaker 3 (01:46:48):
Sometimes my side hustle pays me more than what I
do for my regular jump.
Speaker 12 (01:46:51):
Yeah, like an F one engine cost twelve million dollars,
so I can just you know, just think of like
even lower level probably costs thousands of dollars.
Speaker 3 (01:47:00):
This is a good one. I do coffee on the side.
I fixed machines either at a cafe or I buy
broken espresso machines. I refurbish them and then I sell them.
I'll also cater events depending on on on my hustle.
I have made from two hundred bucks to one thousand
bucks per month. And it started because I wanted a
better espresso machine. That is a highly specialized skill. That's
(01:47:21):
how that stuff happens to oppressive. You know, people identify like,
you know what we could do this, but if we
provide this part of it or you know, make this
part of it easier or better. Yeah, and you just
do that on the side, and then next thing, you know,
you're hiring employees and that replaces you know, something like
that like that that's at something not the espresso machine
(01:47:44):
per se, but maybe like the guy who's building engines,
something like I think like a higher ticket kind of thing,
or even the chickens of beads. I know, the beads
ten grand.
Speaker 12 (01:47:52):
A month, break and iregan in business, I know, how
much is that a year? Menace a ten thousand a month?
One hundred and twenty thousand.
Speaker 3 (01:48:01):
Wow, you're smart enough for our beats. Hell yeah, we're
talking dollars. Yeah, all right, So what's your what's your
side gig, not your main source of income, your side gig?
And then how much are you making off of that?
Speaker 6 (01:48:13):
This is no.
Speaker 3 (01:48:17):
So we're gonna hand out another pair of Alter Ego
tickets to one of the people that have hit up
the iHeartRadio app typed in ninety eighty seven and use
the talkback feature to tell us what's the worst holiday
gift you ever got? And that's the question throughout the day,
So even if you don't want it with us, it's fine.
Chris and Lamone Booker and Striker.
Speaker 9 (01:48:39):
They're using the same question. I finally remembered mine. Yeah,
my mom's best friend they're no longer friends. For Christmas
used to give me a fifty cent gift card to McDonald's.
Speaker 3 (01:48:51):
Yeah, fifty sixty And.
Speaker 9 (01:48:54):
It wasn't even the gift card. It was like a
McDonald's cool I've seen these books.
Speaker 3 (01:48:58):
Yeah, but back in the day, busy sense could buy
you something, may be a cheeseburger, yeah, on ice cream cone.
I remember they would do those for Halloween. They have
little McDonald's coupon books that people put ink, which is
perfectly for a stranger.
Speaker 9 (01:49:14):
But when it's your best friend's kid every year, that's
how old I got it McDonald's coupon.
Speaker 3 (01:49:21):
We'll wrap up this this topic about this like a
side gig, something you're doing on the side just to
bring in antle extra money. What are you doing and
then how much do you make with it? Joanne? Another
other person baking. There's a lot of baking stuff and
making things of food stuff. Joanna, what do you make?
Speaker 13 (01:49:37):
I make like your typical goor mat cookies similar to
crumbo cookie, but even better, do your customs sugar cookies
with images and things like that. I did do a
couple for Striker, yeah and Booker.
Speaker 3 (01:49:53):
Okay, we didn't see any those here, yeah yeah, disappeared. Yeah.
Good luck with your adventure. Yeah no, that's uh, that's
because you just do it on the side. What's your
main job? What do you what do you do for
a living?
Speaker 13 (01:50:05):
I actually take care of my family virtually. My dad
passed away back in May, so that what kind of
took me into the baking business?
Speaker 2 (01:50:13):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (01:50:13):
All right? And then what do you what are you
making on this well besides cookies, like what kind of
dough are you making? You know what I'm saying? Cool,
you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 13 (01:50:22):
Usually, let's say for a rough weekend, about five hundred dollars.
Make sure I also do the cor and things like that.
I could make up to at least thousand, two thousand,
five hundred and just one of it.
Speaker 3 (01:50:34):
Good for you, right, that's awesome? All right, well, Joanna,
thank you for the call. Good luck with you do
you sugar cookie business' have been nice to say that
we've tasted it. I guess we'll never know not for
a run. Its for like Booker and Strucker.
Speaker 13 (01:50:47):
Take some down to your guys off.
Speaker 3 (01:50:51):
We're just giving you a hard time. Thank you, Joanna.
We love you the wood shoe. So what do you
do on the side, and then how much do you
bring in? I don't know how much this person makes
on the side, but it's Elizabeth. It says, I'm a
plus size BBW and I do a chat chat chatter
bait chatterbait. Yeah, it's like a streaming and only fans.
(01:51:16):
As a side gig. She's a Walmart cashier. Oh okay,
as a regular job. Yeah, I make custom corn hole
boards and I charge anywhere from four hundred to six
hundred bucks per set. Usually takes cool. It takes home
about two hundred and fifty to three hundred dollars per
set out of that, so I get that all right.
And then this one says I work as a part
(01:51:39):
time valet bellman two to three days a week at
a resort. I make about one thousand bucks with tips
and hourly. I would love to be the part time
guy that you know you just opened the door to
the taxi and then people, oh, yeah, that's it, thank
you didn't work. I have a company that produces events
and we offer a photo boot with DJ service and
(01:52:02):
some karaoke make about one hundred and twenty thousand dollars
a year. Yeah, there was a person I ran into
and they do that thing, you know, like a like
a photo booth that events weddings, things like that, and
they do something else too. I forget what it was,
but another one of the oh sketching, Yeah, yeah, ooh,
this is cool. My side gig. I am a contracted
(01:52:26):
Gulf Stream pilot thirty five hundred dollars a day anywhere
from one to five days a month.
Speaker 7 (01:52:33):
Are you going to do that?
Speaker 3 (01:52:35):
That's pretty cool. I do know some people that are
that are pilots like that. They have a they have
a gig, but they'll fly like a private jet charters
actually do that on the side. Yeah, they do, like
private jet charters on the side. They'll fly for like
you know one I not. I don't. I don't know
if this is the cover like a like a net
Jets type of company or something like that. You've heard
of them. I fixed barber chairs and it started as
a side gig, make between one to three thousand dollars
(01:52:57):
a month, but now it's my full time gig. I'm
making about five grand a month O grip, Yeah, pretty cool.
Another one. I donate plasma twice a week, so it's
paying the ass. But an extra one hundred and forty
dollars a week is worth it for me.
Speaker 10 (01:53:11):
I don't realize you can donate it that often.
Speaker 3 (01:53:13):
Yeah, well they're not, they're selling it. Sorry, I can't
say anyway, thank you so much for hit this up.
Let us know. I mean again, I'm not looking for
a side gig, but I know a lot of people are.
And sometimes you're like, I don't know what I what
can you do?
Speaker 2 (01:53:29):
Like what do you do?
Speaker 3 (01:53:30):
Like where do you even start? May help help somebody
get off, Get off go.
Speaker 2 (01:53:33):
You know.
Speaker 9 (01:53:34):
I got to read my favorite text. My side gig
is shooting videos of crashes and fire scenes.
Speaker 3 (01:53:39):
I make no money. That's your hobby. It's a hobby.
Although some people do that. They'll show up at crashes, fires,
things like that. Yeah, and then they sell the footage
to when the news is running it.
Speaker 9 (01:53:52):
Totally that's competitive business and they do that all right.
Speaker 3 (01:53:56):
Eight seven seven forty four Wooding hit us up of
the text over to two nine eight seven Get some
more Woody show coming up. But we do have another
pair of Alter Ego tickets to give away using the
talkback feature of the iHeartRadio app. Just tap that microphone
and tell us what is the worst holiday gift You've
ever gotten? This is the first option.
Speaker 24 (01:54:17):
Hello, So this is Mark Carlsbad.
Speaker 21 (01:54:21):
I think the worst gift that I've ever been given
was a Kirkland major scene on Porcelain Tourist.
Speaker 3 (01:54:32):
That's pretty funny. Yeah, there's a ton of that, like
Kirkland stuff and make everything they make, that's the thing.
They make everything. There's a Kirkland. There's a Kirkland Nativity scene.
Speaker 7 (01:54:44):
That's awesome.
Speaker 3 (01:54:45):
I gotta see that. I mean, I know, for a
minute there like Kirkland was like kind of like a cool,
like kitchy. Yeah, Like people all were buying sweatshirts and
like the Kirkland brands, like the stuff that he looks
like you would get for free if you sign up
for their credit card. Well, there's a Kirkland Nike that's
dropping too, So that's what I'm saying, huh Yeah. But
also they have moved on straight up just Costco sweatshirts
(01:55:07):
that's just got released this year. All right, So what's
the worst holiday gift you ever got?
Speaker 1 (01:55:12):
Worst gift ever given to me? Definitely has to be
some period pads my aunt gave me one Christmas. I
believe I was like thirteen fourteen, and I had to
open up the present in front of everybody. Oh, it
was so awkward, very very awkward. I then went into
(01:55:34):
the bathroom and cried.
Speaker 3 (01:55:36):
Well, it's probably because of the period. You know, you're
very emotional. You're all emotion, extra of emotion, your tamping.
You're on the rag and stuff on the cod of
the tamps. Now you're tamping and peer it out. It's weird,
like the tamp holds so many things in, but so
many other things come out, like emotion, tears, tears. And
then what's the worst holiday gift you ever got? Number three? Hey,
(01:55:57):
what's up?
Speaker 18 (01:55:58):
This is a sus from Los Angeles, And the worst
Christmas gift I have ever received was actually last Christmas
and I was gifted some ozampic. Yeah, pretty much saying
that all fat as hell and I need to lose
some weight. And I didn't know how to feel about that.
Definitely the worst Greg Look.
Speaker 3 (01:56:19):
If you don't want you, yeah, you can regift that
to Greg, he would take that right now.
Speaker 9 (01:56:24):
You not understand the question not the reliest present ever
a time?
Speaker 3 (01:56:31):
That's all right, no, sir, The question was yeah were no, no, no, no, no.
I think you're misunderstood, conflated, worst with all time best.
Wait hold on, sir, wait now, hold on. Not a
gift of a miracle drive sammy vote.
Speaker 8 (01:56:48):
I'm going to say the Nativity scene because he was Jewish?
Speaker 3 (01:56:51):
Okay, uh menace. I'm going to say the the tampon
or tampoons, the tampoon one because just not because of
the gift, but the awkwardness of being around the field. Yeah,
and who gives that as a gift? Okay? Gifts are
typically supposed to be like something you wouldn't buy for yourself,
like something could be interested in but it wouldn't necessarily
buy for yourself. Is always the perfect gift. And you're
(01:57:13):
buying those in bulk, right, that's exactly DC. You can
get that in Kirkland size. Hell yeah, Greg, I'm going
period pads.
Speaker 7 (01:57:23):
Tamps, one hundred percent period pads.
Speaker 9 (01:57:25):
That poor girl interesting could be redifted tamps tamps today
is more fun than goner Rhea.
Speaker 3 (01:57:33):
