Be sure to catch it tomorrow.Every weekday morning from five till ten,
or on the iHeartRadio app said Day'sBest Country ninety three point one w
POC Baltimore Now top stories at thetop of the hour, a get another

(00:22):
day of Maybe's When it comes tothe forecast today, there's a chance of
showers and thunderstorms out there. Todaylooks like pretty much all day. There
is a possibility. One forecast Isaw it did show the stronger chance of
being in the evening, but againthere's that possibility throughout the day. Otherwise
it'll be mostly cloudy and high yearseventy four Tomorrow, chance of showers around
with cloudy skies and a high nearsixty five. We'll be in the sixties

(00:44):
for the weekend before warming back upto the seventies on Monday. But that
chance of rain pretty much sticks aroundthrough the weekend too, which is kind
of a bummer. So hopefully itholds off for Mother's Day. If you
have any outdoor plans, speaking ofwhether at least two people are dead in
Tennessee after a day of severe weatherthere. Tornado sirens were going off across
several southern states last night, andfour tornadoes were reported. South of Nashville.

(01:04):
Officials that at least one person waskilled and four others were injured by
a large and destructive tornado near thetown of spring Hill. Then further east,
a twenty two year old man diedwhen wind blew a tree onto his
car. I had a friend whowas flying into Nashville last night, and
she took video of the skies likegoing in, and she's like, I've
flown a lot. This was byfar the scariest flight I've ever been on
in my entire life. I meanthis the lightning you could see like all

(01:26):
around the plane going down. No, no, So definitely a tough night.
But it looks like, you know, given all the warnings they were
getting, it looks like it didn'tbuild to be quite as big. But
still sad to see the loss ofa couple of lives there, unfortunately,
and just a quick one here.Today is the last day for early voting
for the Maryland primary election. Thepolls will be open from seven until eight

(01:47):
today and residents can cast in personballots at any center in their jurisdiction.
Marylanders may register to vote and casttheir ballots today as well. Voters will
be able to cast a ballot aslong as they are in line at their
polling place by eight pm. Soif you want to get that in today,
you can certainly do that. That'sa news update, all right,
what's coming up on your brief,Bethany, Do we believe anything that Rebel
Wilson says anymore? I'm not sure, but she does have an interesting claim

(02:09):
that I think, I don't know, it might be inspiring for some Okay,
I'm ready to be inspired. We'llget to it here in a minute.
First, post Malone and Morgan Wallen. I had some help on ninety
three point one WPOC posts Malone andMorgan Wallen eight minutes after eight o'clock.
Now I keep us in the loopof entertainment and pop culture and the things

(02:32):
we shouldn't care about, but somehowwe really do. Ace Bethany brief on
ninety three point one w POC successionstar Jeremy Strong is and talks to play
Bruce Springsteen's manager John in Nebraska Theupcoming You know, Bruce Springsteen biopic.
Jeremy Allen White from The Bear isgonna play Springsteen in the movie. I'm

(02:53):
pretty excited about it. I thinkit's gonna be really good. Uh just
days, okay, this is asituation. Just days after Miss USA resigned,
Miss teen USA resigned Uma Sophia uhso, I don't want to mess
up her last name. She wascrowned Miss teen USA in September. She
broke the news on Instagram, andthen Miss Universe organization wished them both a

(03:17):
success in the future. This isa situation, you guys, what do
you think is going on? Ijust don't really understand why there's still pageants
like this anyway, I guess, but me either. I went on a
deep dive. A former pageant personowns the organization now, you know,
Trump used to own it back inthe day. He sold it in twenty

(03:38):
fifteen. Now to a former pageantqueen owns it and another one runs it.
I don't know. I just feellike there's something going on behind the
scenes, like we're gonna hear aboutit. It's gonna come out anyway.
Start developing your conspiracy theories and thentext them to seven seven nine sixty two.
There's something's going on. Do peoplenot know what the commitment is?

(04:00):
Like you get into it and yourealize this isn't I don't think it's anything
to do with the commitment. Ithink there's some MOVI something going on in
the organization, and I think it'sgonna it's all gonna get uncovered, okay,
or maybe not. In nineteen ninetyfour, you might remember a little
movie called Speed with Sandra Bullock andKanu Race. Great movie. Then they

(04:27):
tried to make Speed too. Theydidn't have Keano and they didn't have a
plot, but they're going to tryto do it again. I guess there's
a podcast and they were talking aboutthe thirtieth anniversary of Speed, and both
Keano and Sandra have said they'd bein if the script is good enough.
Do we want it? I don'tcare really. It's one of those things

(04:50):
that, yeah, somebody wants tosee it. Yeah, okay, yeah,
I don't really care about it.We don't care, all right,
I don't think so. I don't. Well, if you don't care about
that, you're certainly not going tocare about this. Andy Cohen is once
again addressing rumors that he's dating JohnMayer. What. First of all,
I never knew there were rumors aboutit. Well, they hang out together

(05:11):
all the time, they're super besties, and people have said that they're dating.
And I think that what a cutecouple. I said, go for
it, do you think? ButI think he's already with someone, so
I don't know. But don't youworry, guys. I'm going to keep
you abreast on all of these situations. Okay, all right, thank you.
We feel so much better. Comingup in just a few minutes,

(05:34):
Sam Hunt. We've got tickets togive away for his show at Jiffy loub
Live in July, so if you'reinterested, we'll give you some details here
in a few minutes. We dohave a cloudy day with some rain,
maybe a thunderstorm. Tempts in themid seventies. I think last time I
checked, we were in the midsixties. Yeah, it looks like we're
staying right there. Sixty sixties,Today's Best Country, ninety three point one,

(05:59):
WPOS eat Baltimore, Now Top Storiesat the top of the hour.
Well, if you work in thetourism industry and you're trying to attract people
to visit your area, just finda way to bring Taylor Swift to town.
Her European leg of her Era's tourkicks off today in Paris, and
officials there say that her concerts willbring five times more US luxury travelers in
the city than the upcoming Olympics will. Reports are that American fans are following

(06:21):
Swift to Europe after realizing that stricterrestrictions on ticket prices there made it cheaper
to fly across the Atlantic and seeher there instead. I did the math.
Yeah, it was like for hershow in Denmark, it was like
seven hundred dollars for flight, hoteland ticket. Yeah, it's more than
seven hundred dollars for a ticket here. One of my wife's friends is going

(06:43):
to Switzerland to see her because ofthat same very reason, and also Switzerland
seems to have their acticut. Ithink it'll be a fun trip to do.
Okay, the tickets, I knowtwenty percent of the tickets in Paris
were snapped up by Americans. It'sa pretty big number when you think about
it. In the streaming wars,it looks like a few of the big
names are teaming up. Disney Plusand Warner Brothers. Discovery are planning to
offer their streaming services in a bundle, so you'll be able to get Disney

(07:05):
plus Hulu and Max in one groupthat would mirror the traditional cable TV package.
This new iteration of the bundle willbe available this summer and will be
offered on both the ad support andcommercial free tiers, though pricing has yet
to be disclosed. The option willreportedly be offered at a discount too,
so we'll see. I know Maxin general has really struggled to bring in

(07:25):
the people. I think HBO kindof thought it would be a hit right
off the bat, but people havenot been paying for that service, so
I think that's part of the reasonwhy Warner Brothers is packaging it up with
Disney. The group had also previouslyannounced that Warner Brothers, Discovery, ESPN,
and Fox are planning to join voicforces to offer a sports streaming service,
expected to launch this fall. Andthe Supreme Court is preparing to hand

(07:45):
down rulings on several major cases inthe coming weeks, one of which is
deciding whether the former president is entitledto immunity for actions he allegedly took while
in the White House. The decision, which could come as early as today,
will impact several cases against him, including his alleged mishandling of class by
documents in Florida, and has reportedefforts to overturn the results of the twenty
twenty election in Georgia. The SupremeCourt will also determine whether the abortion drug

(08:07):
myth of pristone can still be widelysold. So we'll see how these come
out. That's your news up date. All right, coming up on your
brief, Bethany, what are yougonna be talking about? You guys?
I am officially calling a conspiracy forthis Miss USA thing. Oh okay,
okay, all right, okay,I'll take your theories next. Okay,
come it up. We have theworld premiere today post Malone and Morgan Wallen.

(08:31):
The song is I Had Some HelpSee what you think? Ninety three
point one WPOC. Thanks for spendingparty your morning with us. It's Darius
Rucker ninety three point one WPOC.Thanks everybody for your simple pleasures. Stephanie

(08:54):
said her son is coming home tonightfor miss freshman year of college, A
big deal. Steph is off tomorrowDonna Girls' night out with lots of laughs
fun. Yeah, those are allgood. So thank you everybody. Let's
hear what happened your daughter. Thiswas over at preschool or what it was

(09:15):
after school. We ended up goingto the playground in our neighborhood yesterday afternoon,
my daughter and I and my daughter'snot like a super shy kid.
She'll she wants to play with otherkids, and she just sort of like
insert herself into people's conversations, whichon the one day, and I appreciate,
like I think a lot of kidsher age are a little bit more
timid and a little more shy,but sometimes she puts herself like, not

(09:35):
understanding social cues, will put herselfinto a place where maybe she isn't necessarily
wanted, which I hate to sayit that way, but it's I guess
it's a reality. So we're atthe playground and she sees a couple of
girls that are playing by a treethat I would say, if I had
to guess between six and eight yearsold, I want to say they were
like elementary age. Yes, they'vegot a few years on her. So
my daughter just walks over and kindof sits next to them, like starts

(09:56):
watching them play. And I don'twant to hover, so I'm trying to
give them some space and like justkind of watch it play out and you
know, be there if she needsme kind of thing. But I start
to overhear the conversation and these girlsare clearly not interested in having my daughter
there, which is fine, Iguess, yeah, there's no obligation for
them to play with her, right, but they start saying like like,

(10:18):
get out of here, why areyou here? Go away? And then
she has something. Somebody says somethingto the point where my daughter looks as,
oh, that's my daddy over there, and they go, we'll tell
your daddy to come take you awayfrom here. And when I hear that,
I was like, well, it'stime for me to go over and
intervene and just kind of remove herfrom the situation. These aren't the other
girls are not my kids. Idon't really know where I go with that,
like, so I just kind oflet them. So I get her

(10:39):
and she decides to go over. She sees a couple other girls playing by
another tree, so she kind ofwanders over there to play with them,
and they were much more kind toher, Like she it was clear they
were kind of doing their own thing, but like they weren't mean to her.
They just gott of like let herbe there, which is fine,
like she tried to she was shewas trying to learn what they were doing
and tried to insert her and playalong with them, which I think she

(11:01):
did find and they weren't like aproblem. But turns out like those two
girls she started playing with were alsowith the other two girls that were really
mean to her. So then theplay started to interact. So now there's
a pat right, and at somepoint my daughter ends up back with the
initial two girls because of the waythe whole thing, and they started screaming
at her, like bloody murder, screaming like I saw the hair on the

(11:24):
back of my neck went up.I was like, what's happened? Like,
get out of here, nobody watchyou. You're like screaming so loud
at my daughters. Well, soI knew there were adults not far by,
and when I hear the screaming start, I obviously like start to go
towards them. Again, I'm tryingto give space, like I want my
daughter to learn and to interact withother kids, so I'm trying not to

(11:45):
just be like this helicopter parent standingover her watching everything that happens. So
I started going over towards her,and I can see my daughter's face is
like she doesn't understand why they're yellingat her. She's so shocked and scary.
She didn't cry. I will actuallygive her credit. She didn't cry.
But she got up to start walkingtowards me. And that's when I
see the dad coming over and helike scolded the girls. He was I

(12:05):
didn't hear everything he said, butthey started saying sorry, and he came
over to me later and he waslike, I just really want to apologize,
like for the way that went down. I was like, you know
what, it's not your fault.I mean, I think all these kids
are learning how to interact with eachother, and maybe it is. I
don't know. I don't know theirhouse. I don't want to pretend to
know. But my daughter comes overto me and she gives in his hug.
It's like making me emotional, andshe's like, Daddy, they hurt

(12:26):
my feelings. And I was like, oh my god, you already know
when someone hurts your feelings and youknow how to express it in words.
You're not supposed to know this. For a few more no, I felt
like her innocence was like ripped awayfrom her in that moment. But I
feel like I've never witnessed that beforeface, like even when I was a

(12:48):
kid, Like trying to think backto the memories that I have, Like
I certainly was put into situations withother people that I didn't want to play
with, but I don't remember everlike screaming at them in that life that's
ridiculous, so aggressive, Like Ididn't even understand what was happening at first
because it took me aback. Sobut like I guess my daughter got her
first lesson with the me rejection there. Yeah, yeah, I mean in

(13:11):
the end, like I don't youwant to protect your kids, You don't
want bad things to happen to yourkids, But like your kid also has
to learn, So I kept tellingmyself, like at least it's a learning
opportunity, Like even though it wassad and like hurtful, at least she
like learned that this kind of stuffcan happen. But it was not fun
to watch as a parent. Itwas not fun to experience when you're an

(13:31):
adult and you say, look,I know I'm not for everyone. That's
one thing. But when you're three. That's a harder reality, okay,
right, Like you just think likeI mean, look at her school like
she plays with everybody, like fromkindergarten on down, like they all play
together. So I don't think it'sin her head yet that there's like people
she can't play with or that justdon't want to play with her. Well,

(13:56):
we're sorry that happens. All right, We're moving on. Today will
be better day. She can playon our playground anytime. Thank you,
thank you. Here's Russell Dickerson.I'm giving you on Friday night, all

Okay, yep, bye, thankyou, have a good day, bye

(22:10):
too. A little voice in theback. All right, we had kind
of an unfortunate situation. Saint Pierre'sgoing to tell us a story. We
had some mean girls with your daughter, her first experience, her first experience
of mean girls. It was adoozy. Okay, we'll get to that
next. We've got a cloudy day. Tempts are going to be in the
mid seventies this afternoon. At anytime, you could hear a thunderstorm,

(22:33):
see some rain in the area.So we'll see today's Best Country. It's
Dylan Scott ninety three point one WPOC. We're talking simple pleasures. Go ahead,
Saint Pierre. I was actually ableto get to the gym yesterday,
and that's my simple pleasure. Ijust had. The schedule is just kind
of weird, Like I know, everybody's busy, so it's not like I'm

(22:55):
busier than anyone else, but Ijust have a weird schedule with the timing
like the Morning show, when Ido my primary part of my job and
then I have to pick up mykid, and just the timing is always
strange where I have small windows toget things like the gym in and I
just have not had the window lately. So I was excited yesterday to actually
have that chance. And all right, yeah, beautiful, Lynn said,
finding out my baby girl got apromposal last night, Sheila catching up with

(23:19):
a friend on the phone. That'sthe best, just making that connection.
Bethanie, what about you? What'syour simple pleasure today? It's sundress season.
Bring it on. Dresses are sortof like nightgowns that you get to
wear during the day. Right,It's really true. I started taking all

(23:40):
of the warm, fuzzy clothes outof my closet yesterday. Bring on the
sun dress might be time. Althoughisn't it most only be like sixty this
weekday? You might still need ahoodie or two, so keep those clothes.
I think my simple pleasure is everyonce in a while, so I'll
get I like dunkin Donuts coffee.US talk about that a lot on our

(24:00):
show, and I will stop theday before I'm going to need the coffee
because when I drive to work whereI go, the Dunkin Donuts don't open
yet, it's too soon. SoI'll buy it the day before, put
it in the refrigerator, and thenI just heat it up the next day.
So a lot of times when Igo get my coffee, it'll be
at night and I just happen tohit it right before it closes. I'm

(24:22):
not trying to. But after dinneryou go over and and so a lot
of times if you go at theend of the day, they'll give you
a free donut. That's that's whyyou go. So it's not because you're
trying to prepare for coffee. You'rewrong, You're wrong. So I didn't
even know it was a thing. So they don't want to throw out their
donuts. So I will always buya donut when I go, But then

(24:45):
they'll throw in an extra donut inthe bag. Oh yeah, that's all
I'm saying. They give you likea bonus donut. It's not guarantee,
loto, it's yes, yes,it's a simple pleasure if you will,
yeah, exactly, So thank youyou. When you should have a segment
called simple pleasures, I know wereally should. I don't know why we
don't. All right, if youhave one, you can text us with

(25:07):
it seven seven nine six' twojust start with high or hey, have
some people texted in Bethanye? Yes? Hi. My simple pleasure is I
took my special needs students to thestate championship and they won. Oh,
yes, Hey, My simple pleasureis going to Disney World with my grandkids.
Why wouldn't you? Hey, Laurahere, my simple this sounds great,

(25:29):
by the way, Laura, mysimple pleasure this morning was being able
to stop at the lake on myway to work and enjoy ten minutes to
drink my coffee in peace before goingto the office. Beautiful. Doesn't that
sound like picture? Yeah? Uh? And hey, my name is Chris.
My simple pleasure is I woke up. I'm on the right side of
the grass, all right, Chris. Sometimes you have to cling to that

(25:52):
the bar's log, Priss, there'sjelly roll with halfway to Hell. I'm
ninety three point one wyper Today's BestCountry ninety three point one w POC Baltimore
now top stories at the top ofthe hour long night, but the Orioles
came out on top against the Nationals. The O's led three to one entering

(26:14):
the ninth inning, with the Natstied it up to force extra innings.
After a scoreless tenth, both teamsscored again in the eleventh, and Baltimore
finally put the finishing touches on witha couple more runs in the twelfth.
Baltimore has today off before welcoming theDiamondbacks to town for the weekend. House
Republicans and Democrats teamed up to stopMarjorie Taylor Green's efforts to remove House Speaker
Mike Johnson. That Georgia Republican triedto force a vote to remove Johnson,

(26:37):
but a bipartisan vote killed the motion. Green has been upset that Johnson reached
across the aisle to accomplish spending billlegislation, or fellow Republicans called her efforts
a quote dumpster fire. Johns HopkinsUniversity is telling pro Palestine demonstrators they will
not face disciplinary action if they packup their encampment and promise that they won't
return or disrupt graduation ceremonies. Theagreement would be a form signed by the

(26:57):
students which would not be part oftheir permanent record and would not have an
impact on their grades. Or abilityto graduate. In a statement, the
Hopkins Justice Collective, this is thegroup kind of behind the protests, says
the university is using fear bongering tacticsto scare them into submission instead of heeding
the violence in Palestine that's being sustainedby Hopkins endowment. The peaceful demonstrators want
Johns. Hopkins to cut ties withTel Aviv University and stop accepting DoD funding

(27:22):
to develop weapons for Israel. Sothat's what's going on over there. That's
your news update, all right, before we get to post Malone and Morgan
Wallen and Luke Bryan tickets. Igot the cutest call from a little girl
and apparently she wanted to answer thequestion we were asking, although I think
she's got the wrong radio station becausethe question didn't have anything to do that's
what we've been touched. But Ijust said to her, okay, Han,

(27:45):
yeah, go ahead and answer thequestion. What's the answer? And
she said to relax, to relax, And I thought, isn't that pretty
much the answer to most questions?Just relax? Well, things he needs
to know by four you got tolearn how to relax, Just relax.
I love it, all right,We've got some tickets Luke Bryan Jimmy Lube

Okay's fine, Yeah, it's right, all right, then let's do
this. Yeah. I keep usin the loop of entertainment and pop culture
and the things we shouldn't care about, but somehow we really do. He's
Bethany Brief on ninety three point oneWOC. Something for everyone here in Today's

(28:56):
Bethany's Brief. More than twenty yearsafter the premiere of The Simple Life,
reports are flying that Nicole Ritchie andParis Hilton are teaming up again to strike
reality gold. I guess James Corden'scompany is going to be in charge of
production. The OG series ran fromtwo thousand and three to two thousand and

(29:18):
seven. I guess I thought thatwas like nineties. But boy, anyway
we could watch that, that wouldbe okay. The actor who famously portrayed
Steve Erkele on Family Matters has gottenmarried. Jalil White, who's forty seven,
has gone on to be a successfulvoice actor, and he occasionally makes
He occasionally makes a television appearance. He wed a tech executive, Nicoletta Rule

(29:42):
on May fourth. It's the firstmarriage for both of them. Good for
him, I know, so cute. Rebel Wilson has revealed that she only
made thirty five hundred dollars for herrole in Bridesmaids. Surprising you think,
so, that's so lucky. Shewas a oh name actress and she only
had like four minutes in the entirefilm. I'm not surprised. I mean,

(30:04):
I think we look at it nowand we think like, oh,
that's Rebel Wilson, But like wedidn't know who she was when that movie
came out. That is true, you know, that is true. She
said she had to go in debtin order to go to the premiere.
She had to pay for travel expensesand address and you know, glam you
would think they could fly you outto a premiere if you're in the movie,
you would think. So. Idon't know what the budget of that
movie was, though, but shesaid that she booked six movies off the

(30:27):
back of Bridesmaids, and one ofthem was Pitch Perfect. Sure, so
you know it all worked out.Yeah. I love the stories about how
like super poor actors and actresses likejust they finally get it. You know,
everyone needs their break. Like BradPitt was in like a TV commercial
or something like that, or withDelma and Louise. He had like a

(30:48):
two minute Yeah, it's a hotcouple of minutes. It was, but
like it was one of those momentsthat was like this was the door opener,
Like that helped kick the door downfor him. You know, I
love it. It's just like Ifeel like that's the inspiring part, Like
you just never know when your break'sgonna come, you know. Uh,
mister Beast, are you guys familiar? Nope? Okay, he's a pretty
famous YouTuber. He's giving away twentysix teslas to celebrate his twenty sixth birthday,

(31:14):
and you can go to his Instagramand you can enter the contest if
you'd like to do it. Youhave until tomorrow at midnight if you want
to win one of those teslas. There were a couple of guys in the
gym locker room yesterday that were likebragging to each other about their teslas,
and I was like, you guysare so lame, but you are the
lamest human beings on the planet rightsfigger than your tesla, right, just

(31:36):
I was like, oh my gosh, like, there's nothing else to talk
about, but my tesla's got thisand your tesla doesn't. So was it
a euphemism in the okay? Andlastly, please don't do it. A
new version of the Office is comingto Peak. I don't want it,
Yeah, I don't. It's nota spinoff or reboot. They're going to

(31:56):
do a completely new cast, completelynew premise, but it's going to be
I guess, in the same universeas The Office, and also in mockumentary
style. So that's happening whether youlike it or not. Don't blame the
producers of this, because everybody's beenasking for a new Office, so they
are giving it to you. They'rejust not giving you the one you want,
right who's asking Everybody on the internetis asking for a reboot of the

(32:20):
Office. They're asking for more ofthe Office over and over and over again.
I don't disagree with you, Bethany. I'm just saying it's like the
only thing that pops up on myfee lately is people wanting the Office.
Okay, would you rather watch TheNew Simple Life with Paris and Nicole or
The New Office? Neither? Do? What? All? Right? Coming

(32:42):
up, we're going to talk aboutthings everybody should know by the time they
turn forty. Whether wise we've gota good chance of some rain, maybe
even a thunderstorm today, but acloudy day mid seventies for the high we're
at sixty now. I got toJordan Davis three point one WPOC the other
day. I saw a list ofthe things everybody should know by the time

(33:06):
they turned forty. I did putit up on our Facebook. Kathleen said,
your mother was always right. That'skind of funny. All right,
So here's what people said, nothingbeats a good night's sleep. Well,
there's something to be said for that. If you're not a people person,
you'll probably never be one. Okay. I do think I've seen people change

(33:27):
as they got older and become moresociable. But when to talk and when
to listen. Still a lot ofpeople don't know that. I don't know.
Exercise is a wonderful antidote to justabout anything. That's true. I
don't think like my generation was reallytaught about exercise as much as they talk

(33:49):
about it now, which I thinkis nice to see. Like, I
feel like I would have started goingto the gym and stuff a lot earlier
if it had been a bigger conversationthe way that it is now. Yeah,
when I was growing up, nobodyhad talked about it, right.
The only people that went to thegym when I was in college were like
the meatheads. Like, no,the average person did not go exercise,
right, nobody was talking about theirgym membership. And somebody else said that

(34:10):
your career path can include a lotof forks in the road. It doesn't
have to be a straight line, doesn't have to be the same thing forever.
Yeah, I think that's true. We've certainly learned that over the last
several years. I think, isthere something you think everybody should know by
the time they turn forty guys?Hmmm, it's really because somebody will say,

(34:32):
you know that you can drive astick shift. I'm like, well,
you may never need to. Youdon't need to. Yeah, so
if anymore too, I do.I'm thinking something along the lines of,
like what your own personal strength andweaknesses are. Maybe like self awareness.
You should learn self awareness by thetime you turn forty. And it's not

(34:54):
easy self awareness, I don't think. I think sometimes it involves asking out
people, So how do you perceiveme? Because sometimes we don't even realize
how other people see us. Andthat's but then you have to be ready
to receive the answer. Yeah youdo. Yeah, it's true. Most
people are not right right. Everybodywants honesty until you give it to them

(35:14):
and they're like, oh wait,I actually don't. I didn't want honesty.
I didn't want that. I don'tknow. I kind of like it,
actually, But okay, anything elseyou should know by the time you
turn forty. Guys that you didn't. It wasn't long ago you turned forty.
Yeah, uh, maybe I gotto ask for help. I don't

(35:37):
know. I think that's a hardone. It was for me. I
couldn't. I think saying no islike a big thing, Like I think
just understanding it's okay to say no. You don't have to tell everybody,
You'll do it whatever they're right.Yeah. I mean, like, I
know, there's a point in alot of like careers and stuff, when
you're first starting your career, youwant to say yes to a lot of
things so you can like get inthe door and get started. But like
it's okay to say no do that. Can we have a coworker here that

(35:59):
complains to me NonStop about how hehas is quote unquote forced to do so
many things. I'm like, thenjust say no, man, Like they're
not going to fire it. You'reliterally the only employee this radio station has.
Like, I don't think they're goingto fire you because you say you
don't want to go to an event. I think you'll be okay. It's
Tyler Hubber with five foot nine, jag Mans good Whiskey ridder. It's Alan

(36:29):
Jackson ninety three point one WPO.See, we were talking about things everybody
should know by the time they turnedforty, and we got into a little
bit of a conversation about being honest, that you want to hear honestly from
people and you want to be anhonest person. And I think the one
thing because you were saying safer, well not everybody wants to hear it.
I think it depends on how it'sdelivered to. I think sometimes when you

(36:50):
ask somebody for their honest opinion, they can use it like a moment to
just dun't as opposed to being honestbut doing it in it. Yeah,
I think there's a differenty of beinghonest and being just a shirk. Yeah,
I do get that. I dothink sometimes you like when people that
say they want honesty, if yougive them honesty, then they go somewhere
else to find a different answer. It's like like Mom said, no,

(37:12):
I'm gonna go ask Dad. SoI didn't get the honest answer that I
want. I'm gonna go see ifsomebody else gives me an honest answer that
I like. All Right, Ifyou have thoughts about our topic things everybody
should know by the time they turnforty, you can text us seven seven
nine six y two. Just startthe text with high or Hey, you
can post something on our Facebook ifyou'd like to do that. You're always

(37:35):
welcome to give us a call eighthundred three two one thirty six ninety three
because we'd love to hear from you. We've got parmeline. I'm taking my
name, I'm ninety three point oneWPOS take my hand in and make you
man. I'm to wait taking thatsomething today normally ninety three point one WPOC.

(38:04):
Another thing I thought of you shouldknow by the time you turn forty
is the value of maintaining friendships.I think as you get older, you
feel like, you know, yourealize the importance and it's work, Like
you have to really be intentional aboutit. All right, coming up,
I know we've got some Nashville newshere in just a few minutes. We
have got so much new music coming. And we just f thoughnd O about

(38:28):
another big song, like big songthat's coming next week. So I'll give
you all the details here. Righton the text, someone said that keep
up with your health care and yourdone tel Yes. Yes. Somebody else
said get ammo Graham. Yeah,a lot like that stuff is hard because
a lot of people don't have likethe insurance to cover it, you know,
but like if you can and youcan make it work, like that
is so important. Hi, Ijust turned forty in April, and I

(38:51):
think by now everyone should know howto load and unload a dishwasher. She
must live with somebody who acts likethey don't I think that's subjective. Don't
you think right? Everybody does ita little different. I know that.
Yeah. I always feel like,if somebody's willing to load the dishwasher,
I'm not going to complain about howI did. Like, Hey, all

(39:12):
right, good, We've got acloudy day today. We've got a good
chance of some showers, maybe thunderstorms. Temperatures are going to be in the
mid seventies this afternoon. We're atsixty now ninety three point one. That
was Hardy ninety three point one.Doc and Love and Theft is coming up
next. Maybe you notice it's NashvilleNews Now with Saint Pierre on ninety three

(39:37):
point onepoc Well, our basically weeklong run of world premieres starts today.
So you may have already heard thenew song from Post Malone and Morgan Wallet.
It's called I Had Some Help andyou can hear it on radio today.
It's not available to stream, youcan't buy it. You can only
hear it on the radio. Yournext chance to hear it is coming up
in just a few minutes at aboutseven oh five here. If you haven't

(39:58):
heard it yet, then tomorrow we'vegot the World premiere from Thomas Read.
It's a new song called Beautiful asYou, and I do have a little
clip of that to kind of giveyou a little taste of its to come
joy Wait asking questions for his wifeis certainly the subject a lot of his

(40:23):
songs. I mean that's pretty muchthe case for most of the songs.
Yeah, So we'll have that foryou tomorrow. On Monday, We've got
another world premiere that right now isstill being confidential. I'm still told it's
confidential, so I can't talk aboutit, but that will be coming on
Monday. Then we just found outthat on Thursday of next week, we've
got a brand new song from LukeColmbs. Luke was on social media yesterday
announcing the song called Ain't No Lovein Oklahoma is going to be part of

(40:45):
the upcoming movie Twisters, which isI guess kind of a sequel to the
nineteen ninety six movies. So Idon't really know how that ties together yet,
but the trailer just came out andgave me goosebumps. I don't know,
like goosebumps. I didn't think Ineeded Twisters, and then I watch
this new trailer, I was like, I need Twisters and I need it
like now, I need it today. Yeah, check it out. I

(41:06):
guess this song? Oh sorry,I was gonna guess. Is it?
Is it Riba? What do youmean? Is there new music from Riba?
I don't have anything from Reba. No, I'm still talking about Luke
Combs, Bethanie, I know.I just wanted to play a guessing games,
the one where you said you couldn'ttell. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
that was the secret one. I'msorry this secret one. No,
no, no, that's not It'snot Reba. I can say that.

(41:28):
I can tell you it's not Rebafor sure. This song from Luke Combs
apparently was written specifically for the movieTwisters and the video song Everything is coming
out on Thursday, So if youwant a taste of that one, let's
go ahead and take and listen toyou. Why this one that's gritty?

(42:05):
Yeah, I kind of like thegrittiness of it, you know, I
like it. I mean, LukeColmes has got some really strong ballads,
but the gritty songs I'm into.So we'll have that one on Thursday of
next week. We'll have the bigworld premiere for you on that as well.
So a lot of stuff coming uphere next week. It's gonna be
busy. I can't I almost can'tstand not knowing. With them, there's

(42:27):
love and fouth and Angela she laughs. Whiskey whizz
