be bad for anybody. Yeah, let's just avoid. Yeah. There'll
be a public hearing in Dundalk later this afternoon about
demolition plans for what's left of the Key Bridge. That
hearing is going to be held at the Baltimore County

City Live Festival. This year's edition will feature world class talent,
(01:28):
among with food and local merchants at the historic War
Memorial Plaza. It's scheduled for September twenty first, from noon

you know, any indication from what they did last year,
that should be the case. The mayor is scheduled to
announce some more details about the festival, like some specifics,
(01:50):
later this afternoon about three thirty. And results have found
in a new survey that Americans say they average about
four hours of free time every day, and here's what
they do. Most of us watch TV. That's the number one.
Snacking came in second. Wow, don't usually just snack? Wait wait,
it's snacking while I'm watching Yeah yeah. Social media. Scrolling
(02:16):
through social media was also in the top three. So
that's kind of what we're doing, as if we didn't
already know.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
I was thinking about free time the other day and
how like the Olympians use their free time, right, how
I use mine?
Speaker 2 (02:30):
So different? Whoops? Coming up on your brief? What do
you have, Bethany?
Speaker 3 (02:35):
Oh? So, several ex members of Saturday Night Live are
making the news for good reasons and not so great reasons.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
We'll run down the list, all right, we'll get back
coming up here just a few minutes. We've got Nate
Smith and World on Fire a ninety three point one
tublepos Slutcombe six ' eleven.
Speaker 4 (03:11):
Now I keep out in the loop of entertainment and
pop culture and the things we shouldn't care about, but
somehow we really knew, as Bethanybree on ninety three point
one w POC.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
Congratulations to Marylynd's own Katie Ldecki for winning the fifteen
hundred meter freestyle race. She's now tied with Jenny Thompson
for the most gold medals secured by a woman in
Olympic history.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
That was her twelfth career medal. Yeah, Kathleen for her.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
I know. Kathy Lee Gifford has been hospitalized after falling
while recovering from her recent hip replacement surgery.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
Gotta be so discouraging.
Speaker 4 (03:48):
I know.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
She says that she did it herself because she moved
three hundred books during a book signing in Nashville.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
Oh girl, you don't have an assistant at this point. Jeez,
just had ipster. I know, why did anyone help her?
Speaker 3 (04:05):
Colin Jost will host the new game show Pop Culture Jeopardy,
which will be exclusively on Prime Video. I think that's
a great He's a great host for ye yeah, yeah.
Maya Rudolph will return to Saturday Night Live to play
Kamala Harris. She's gonna do that through the election, at
least through the election. She first played Harris in twenty
(04:25):
nineteen and then won an Emmy for me, you know,
for that role. She really is, she really is. Pete
Davidson has checked into a wellness facility.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
I feel bad about this. He seems to he battles
his demons. Yes night he does, but listen to this.
Speaker 3 (04:44):
In the past year, he did more than two hundred
stand up shows, several film projects, and in January he
released a Netflix special.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
Right, so like not like he's just laying around. Why
doesn't he like, maybe just for real, take some time
for himself, you know, yeah, yeah, be a healthy.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
This is some sad news for me personally because Taco
Bell is rolling out ai drive through ordering, which seems
efficient and wonderful. But my favorite drive through in this
whole area is that Taco Bell drive because they're nice,
They're just right.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
They don't have an attitude, and I love that. I'm like,
thank you.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
And lastly, yeah, I like it when people are just
kind to me. Yeah, put a little fire sauce in
the bag, you know what I mean. And then lastly,
I want to get the text line going, so seven
to seven nine six two, begin your message with higher Hay,
I have a little would you rather?
Speaker 2 (05:39):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (05:40):
The Olympic Triathlon finally got underway in Paris after it
was delayed a few days because of the river.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
The sand river was like too dirty. Yeah right, they
said beforehand it was going to be a problem.
Speaker 3 (05:53):
Yeah, yep, and then they had I'm glad that they
got it underway because I didn't think it was gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
Yeah they so, okay.
Speaker 3 (05:59):
And then of course you've got the boars Head Deli
meat recall right, that's happening right now.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
So my would you rather?
Speaker 3 (06:06):
Is?
Speaker 2 (06:06):
Would you rather swim in the sun or have some
boars head meat? Today? Just text us? Let us know
I don't want either one of those things, and no,
you would you rather? The rules are you have to
pick one? Yes?
Speaker 3 (06:23):
All right?
Speaker 2 (06:23):
We are going to talk a little bit about the
Olympics here in a few minutes, Like what is it
about seeing celebrities at the Olympics that makes people so excited?
Everybody talks about it, So we'll we'll get to that.
We do have a sunny, really hot, humid day today.
It's going to be up close to one hundred degrees
this afternoon, and I always hate it when they do those,
(06:43):
and it's going to feel like one hundred and eight.
Look once you're two one hundreds upper nineties. Who cares?
I think ninety is my cutoff? It is? It's hot
seventy two degrees right now. Let's check on the road.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
Ninety three point one WPOC.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
Shabouzi ninety three point one WPOC. That song still makes
me smile when I listen to it. All Right, we're
talking Olympics. Let's just kind of set the mood. This
is men's Basketball Olympics.
Speaker 5 (07:15):
Eighty six victory over South Sudan. A balance attack from
the US and they do it on both ends of
the floor and it's ten to two. And in these
Olympic Games.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
Woo. All right, I know you. You said you've been
watching a lot of the Olympics. It's funny. I saw
an article today about the Olympic event you should watch
based on your zodiac sign, and I looked yours up
because I know you're an Aquarius. That's right. It says,
while everyone else is watching popular events like gymnastics and swimming,
(07:47):
you'll be flipping through the games in search of the
lesser known events like sport climbing. As a quirky Aquarius,
you like to see what's going on behind the scene.
I do, and you enjoy giving a little love to
the underdogs. It's true. It's true, all right, mine, Because
I'm an Aries, says I'm supposed to watch every rugby
game because I love the pure grit and determination the
(08:09):
players need to push through defenders. Okay, I don't know
that that's true, not relating to that one that, but
I do think it's funny how you know you've already
got something pretty exciting going on. People. The US has
just been killing it out there, and yet at the
same time, it feels like people get more excited about
(08:32):
the fact there are celebrities that come to these games.
And I'm always kind of curious, like, why do you
think that is?
Speaker 3 (08:39):
I don't know they do, and they well, they're they're
promoting Snoop Dogg as if he's an athlete.
Speaker 4 (08:46):
I know, I know.
Speaker 3 (08:48):
And then every time there's a celebrity in the audience,
they're always like, oh, Keith Urban is here.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
Yeah, there's Nicole Kidman. I'm like, okay, I do think
it was funny. They mentioned Tom Cruise and Nicole back
to back a couple of times, and I like, because
everybody wants to know, like, what is it like when
they bump into each other at the Olympics or maybe
they never do? I have all there in my imagination.
They never speak. Oh, I think they're still friendly. You
(09:14):
think so, uh huh because they still have those adopted kids.
Speaker 3 (09:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
I don't think Tom cares about his kids, does he.
I don't know. I don't know, And I don't see
her with the adopted kids, so I don't know what's
going on with completely made up entirely different. That's what
people do know. I did put it up on our Facebook.
Shannon said the reason she likes seeing celebrities at the
Olympics is because it makes them more human when they
(09:41):
look up to and cheer on the same people that
we're cheering on. Mm yeah okay. Janine thinks it brings
us all together. Okay, okay, it like levels the playing field.
We're all united in this, we're all cheering on together.
Is there a reason you like seeing the celebrities?
Speaker 6 (10:00):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (10:00):
Yeah, I like the togetherness.
Speaker 3 (10:02):
Yeah, I also like, I don't know, I really like
the parents when they show the family, and that's the.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
One I like. Yeah, and the siblings are sometimes there.
I like that I.
Speaker 3 (10:14):
Feel I guess I feel like I like that people
go out of their way to support, you know, whether
it's the family or celebrities. You know, these people put
a lot of effort into being these world class athletes.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
But it's weird because my mind will go, Okay, now,
why are they in Paris? Do they have a film?
Like when I see a celebrity there, I'm curious, like
summer vacation. Are they're there for a movie or why
is Natalie Portman there, I don't know, vacationing.
Speaker 3 (10:43):
Well, she has partial ownership of the of the one
soccer team, so she's friends them.
Speaker 2 (10:50):
Yeah yeah, okay, that makes me feel better now that
I know that. Or maybe she's just a fan, you
know what I mean? Yeah, it could be. So you
can text us seven to seven nine six two. Start
with your text with high or hey, and let us
know what it is about seeing celebrities at the Olympics
that just makes you feel better. And maybe it doesn't.
Maybe you're like, yeah, I'd like to be sitting at
(11:12):
the Olympics instead of working. Little jealousy. It could be
tell us what you think. Here's Morgan Wallam, what's going on?
Speaker 4 (11:22):
Mom?
Speaker 2 (11:23):
Something? Just Shanai at ninety three point one w POC
I'd like to see Shanaia at the Olympics. Actually, what
did people say on their text about why they love
seeing the stars at the Olympics.
Speaker 3 (11:38):
I think it's awesome that Flavor flav sponsored the women's
and men's water polo team. I believe it was said
that the women's team would not have been able to
go without his help. They're awesome women who are moms
and have full time jobs that that continues to shake
me when I think about the Olympics, like the Olympians
(11:59):
that have careers and children and the.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
Outside of this. They're so focused it seems on just that.
And sometimes I'm like, I did Walks of Dogs right exactly, exactly,
all right? Coming up, we do have some Nashville News
always another song coming your way, Sam Hunt in a minute,
but we're going to find out Megan Maroney has finally
talked about whether she dated Morgan Wallen, so we're going
(12:24):
to get that information. And post Malone. He's got that
new album coming out in just a couple of weeks,
and it looks like everyone's on it. I feel like
it would be easier to say who is not on.
He's got a big list of stars, so we'll talk
about that. We do have a very hot day, upper nineties.
There's a heat advisory and effect. It's code orange out
(12:47):
there today, so they're just telling everybody to be very
careful about how much time you spend outside and staying hydrated,
not over exercising. We've got seventy five, no seventy two
degrees outside right now. Sam Hunt with outskirts ninety three
(13:09):
point one w POC. I know you were doing a
would you rather kind of thing? Did you hear from
anybody on that? No, apparently no one wants to. They
don't want to make them, they don't want either. Okay,
so all right, that's fine, that's fine, don't play fine.
Speaker 3 (13:23):
If no one wants to have fun with me this morning,
then okay, I'll have fun by myself.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
All right, it's about five minutes till seven.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
Okay, it's Nashville News now on ninety three point one WPOC.
Speaker 2 (13:35):
So we know that post Malone has a new album
coming out August sixteenth, called F one trillion, but he
has now set his debut at Nashville's Grand Ole Opry
the two days before the album comes out, which is
perfect timing. But listen to who's on the album with him,
because the track list is out now. I'm not sure
people care about names of songs or whatsong, but Tim McGraw,
(13:58):
Morgan Wallen, Blake Shelton, Dolly Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, Landy Wilson,
Chris Stapleton. I'm only giving you half wow, Okay, So
I'm just saying, good job, post Malone. Megan Maroney. Finally
answering the question of whether or not she dated Morgan Wallen,
she was on a podcast. She said, never exclusively, but
(14:23):
that they did date starting sometime in early twenty twenty.
Fans have long speculated that her single Tennessee Orange was
about him, but she refused to answer that question. She said,
I will not tell anybody what my songs are about ever,
so don't ask her that anymore. Okay, oh fine, jump
off that bad way. And Zach Bryan is ruling Billboard's
(14:47):
June box score report with ten shows from the Quinon
Time Tour. This is about money. According to figures reported
to Billboard box Score, he grows sixty eight point nine
million dollars in June. Not a bad man did not
a bad name. Yeah, yeah, yeah right. So far, the
(15:07):
Quentin Time Tour has earned him one hundred and eighty
four million dollars since it came out started March fifth.
God in the wrong business. We just had the talent
that Zach Bryan has I know, so that we just
gotta work magical, all right, Chris Stapleton, I can't wait
(15:28):
to hear him with posts below. That'll be yeah, that's
going to be good. And yeah, here's Tennessee whiskey. You.
I like that shaboozy song ninety three point one w P.
(15:51):
Makes you feel like you're out at the party here
you are are, all right? I have to tell you
guys something kind of funny. I have this thing when
I'm in a public restroom, I don't really want to
talk to somebody that's not in the stall with me.
And I'm usually by myself in the stall, so I
(16:11):
don't It's like, I just don't need to carry in
a conversation with someone. And do you give a square despair?
So well, if that's like, I get it. If there's
a necessity, then fine, chat it up. But so yesterday
I was in there and there was somebody started talking
to me. I was in my little stall and they
(16:32):
were like, hey, I'm just putting makeup on, and like
are they talking to me?
Speaker 3 (16:37):
Like?
Speaker 2 (16:37):
I just didn't say anything. But later I realized I
think it was somebody from our office. Oh okay, And
I think I maybe offended her because I didn't answer back.
But I just generally don't like talking when I'm in
the store, like I'm doing put whatever you want on.
(17:00):
What did she say? She just said, Hey, don't don't
mind me. I'm just putting my makeup B.
Speaker 7 (17:04):
I'm just being polite that she's intruding on her private time.
Speaker 2 (17:08):
Maybe, but it's a public restroom. It's a public restroom.
You can do whatever you want. You can take a
shower in the sink if you want. But I don't
want to talk about it, like okay, Like I just
didn't say anything, but I didn't know it was a
co worker. I didn't recognize the voice. I wasn't sure
it was somebody from here, or maybe I would have
at least.
Speaker 7 (17:27):
Said, have you thought about it? Have you tried to
figure out who it is?
Speaker 2 (17:30):
And that I think I might know. You're going to
approach this person be like I.
Speaker 4 (17:34):
Do mean to be.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
I do think I'm going to.
Speaker 3 (17:36):
Today go look at everyone's face and see if it
looks like they have makeup, like the bathroom make.
Speaker 2 (17:41):
Well, she did have a lot of makeup B yesterday
right down and not normally does she have that. So
I think that's okay. So she thought she was talking
to a co worker. You just heard No, I just
heard the voice. Here's what you do.
Speaker 7 (17:54):
You write down exactly from what you remember what the
person says. Write on a piece of paper, go to
every female employee, read.
Speaker 2 (18:02):
This back and just to see if the voice. I
think I know based on who had the most makeup
on yesterday because she was in there for a while. Okay,
I'm just I don't think enough about that. But I
don't want to hurt someone's feelings. They're thinking, oh, she's
kind of stuck up. No, but I generally don't talk
to people once I go into the NO. I know
(18:25):
now if Bethany ever finds me in there, she's going
to want to talk all chat it up. Did you
hear what my kids?
Speaker 3 (18:30):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (18:31):
And another thing?
Speaker 3 (18:32):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (18:32):
Okay, So Matt Damon has been making the rounds on TV.
He was talking about his relationship with Ben and Casey Affleck.
I don't think this is a big surprise, but we'll
play the clip.
Speaker 8 (18:42):
We've lived in all these various stages, like from adolescents
and teenage years to being struggling actors out in LA
and marriage and fatherhood and all that stuff. So we
have this huge kind of common experience and shared experience.
So I think that's why we end up working together
so much.
Speaker 2 (18:58):
Yeah, because that's the question, why you guys do so
much stuff? Together. I think that's natural.
Speaker 7 (19:02):
They want to work together. It's easier to work together
with people you know and are.
Speaker 2 (19:07):
Comfortab and you're one of those people that stays in
touch with people you know from long ago. He did
say there's potentially going to be another Born identity and
that he would be interesting.
Speaker 8 (19:17):
We always went one at a time, and we always
assumed we wouldn't be lucky enough to make another one.
So it means that each time you finish, you got
to go totally back to the drawing board and kind
of reinvent the story a little bit. So so if
someone can do that, you know, I would.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
I would love to.
Speaker 7 (19:31):
Okay, at the five total, four for him, I think
for the Born Okay, I think so the third one
was with Jeremy Runner. I think was it? The fourth
one was the fourth one? Okay, so maybe this is.
And then he came back and didn't he do another one?
Well on Google, so listen.
Speaker 2 (19:47):
I heard Jeremy Runner on a podcast the other day
and didn't love it. What do you mean he said something?
I don't know, he just seemed I don't know. I
wanted to draw a lot. I know, I wanted to
like him more. Maybe he's had some problem since his
personality or what he said. Well, you know what, you
know what happened. We were in the bathroom together. She's
a bathroom talker when we're both at the sink, if
(20:10):
you want to talk, fine. He was so rude in
the Bathroomyeah. I was putting my makeup on and I said,
oh hello. I didn't say a word.
Speaker 7 (20:17):
What a rude blast them.
Speaker 2 (20:22):
I feel bad. I didn't stay up last night. I
wasn't losing sleep over it. You're fine. Yeah, here's lup, Bryan,
you've drunk on you. I bet there are other people
that I've just cotton wood falling line, snow in Junely sunset,
river Side Boo drives in a tail lotty.
Speaker 7 (20:49):
It's loop.
Speaker 2 (20:50):
Comb's twelve minutes after eight.
Speaker 4 (20:53):
I keep us in the loop of entertainment and pop
culture and the things we shouldn't care about, but somehow
we really do.
Speaker 2 (21:01):
On ninety three point one.
Speaker 3 (21:04):
Yeah, So, Demi Levado is teaming up with Hulu for
a new documentary called Child Stars. It's her directorial debut
for the film, and she's enlisted a pretty impressive group
of former Child Stars. Drew Barrymore, Keenan Thompson, Christina Ricci,
Raven Simone, Jojo Siwa. According to a new release, the
(21:24):
film Will You Know go through the highs and lows
of growing up in the spotlight. I think that this
could be really interesting. No air date yet, but I
love the demies being a director now.
Speaker 2 (21:35):
Yeah, I just like that these people are willing to
talk about I think it's a really tough road for
a lot of kids, so I'm glad that they're discussing
it now.
Speaker 3 (21:45):
Carrie Underwood is rumored to be the new American Idol judge.
Speaker 2 (21:49):
That's I think it's a great idea. I think so too.
Why didn't we think of her sooner? I don't know.
I don't know either.
Speaker 3 (21:54):
Season twenty five, so she's gonna join Lionel Ritchie and
Luke Bryan.
Speaker 2 (22:00):
Who are on the judging panel already. I think that's great.
Speaker 3 (22:03):
Season two of Squid Game is officially set to drop
December twenty six.
Speaker 2 (22:08):
Never watched, I don't I don't think. I don't think
you'd like it. Oh, I don't think that's why I
never watched. Great Choice, but I heard.
Speaker 3 (22:15):
Yeah, great choice on staying away from that, but a
lot of people do like it. And you can watch
it over your holiday break.
Speaker 2 (22:21):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (22:22):
And then Rob Low says there could be a sequel
to Saint Elmo's Fire coming.
Speaker 4 (22:27):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (22:28):
He says he's met with some people and they're talking
about some things.
Speaker 2 (22:31):
It's he said, it's in the very very very early stages.
That's exciting. Yeah, and then this series is different, but
I think I'm into it.
Speaker 3 (22:39):
Okay, As a scripted murder mystery series, it's going to
be called Dream Crushers, and viewers who are watching can
actually look for clues and compete to win one hundred
thousand dollars. Just sit at home watch TV solve a
murder mystery and we get I think.
Speaker 2 (22:56):
That sounds kind of lovely. It's not kind of great,
and I love how how interactive it is. So I
feel like that is.
Speaker 3 (23:02):
Kind of maybe where TV needs to go in order
to kind of stay relevant.
Speaker 2 (23:05):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (23:06):
Yeah, So anyway, it's going to be on a new
streaming service called Reveal.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
Okay, that's what I got for you. All right, we
appreciate it. Don't forget a chance to win your way
in to see Brad Paisley is coming up here in
the next few minutes. We'll give you some details. We
do have a sunny, very very hot day up around
one hundred degrees today, but right now it's just a
cool seventy six starting ninety three point one w POC.
Speaker 6 (23:38):
So.
Speaker 2 (23:38):
Recently, BuzzFeed was asking people about trends from back in
the day. They're glad 're not around anymore. So I'll
give you a couple of these. Somebody said, can we
just talk about eighties frizzy hair? It looked good on
no one. Oh I loved it back in the top,
you know, smoking inside building? Was she talking about perms?
(24:01):
Do you think? Is that what? Maybe?
Speaker 3 (24:04):
I think it just like the style was just like
tease it up, hair spray, all.
Speaker 2 (24:08):
Right, smoking inside buildings. So glad I don't have to
smell like an ashtray anymore after I visit a restaurant. Okay,
somebody's glad about that. Parachute pants. They even made a
brief comeback a few years ago. But why, they said,
But have you ever tried them? Comfy? You love parachute pants? Yeah,
bring them around right now. Somebody said, jellies the shoes,
(24:32):
Oh those are cute. They said, oh mg, they were
bad back then. I have no idea why I've recently
seen them for sale. Have you seen jellies?
Speaker 3 (24:41):
Yeah, and I one of my clients has a little girl.
Then she had them on the other day and I
was like.
Speaker 2 (24:47):
I was so excited. I wonder, like, I think, do
they stick when you're walking? Is that they're not the
most comfortable. Yeah, I don't think. This woman says they're
a blister factory. Yeah, and they stink, she said, as
an insult to injury. Oh boy, somebody's glad shag carpeting's gone. Yeah,
(25:09):
that's pretty gross. They said it was. This is funny.
It was horrible to vacuum and if you drop something
in it, you would never find it again. That is
things from back in the day. Rastes. It could be
a fashion trend. It could be, you know, something for
your home whatever. I did put it up on Facebook
(25:30):
just a few minutes ago, so off the check it
in a little bit and see what people are saying.
But is there something that jumped out at you? Is
there something, Bethany, I'm not is no longer around.
Speaker 3 (25:40):
I'm not really like the low rise jeans are back now,
and I'm not sure.
Speaker 2 (25:45):
I'm not sure those wherever the best? Do you like
the huge pant legs.
Speaker 3 (25:49):
I do you do like those? Yeah, I'm excited that
Baggy is back. You like Baggy because that was a
fun trend.
Speaker 2 (25:56):
I think.
Speaker 3 (25:56):
Okay, but the low rock like, especially if you've got
a butt like I don't know, that.
Speaker 2 (26:03):
Doesn't work for you. It does not. The platform shoes,
I will say that I remember wearing those when I
was a teenager, thinking they were great. But I almost
killed myself a couple of times back then. So if
you think for a minute, I'm trying those on again, no, no,
we can't risk it now. No, I can't have a break.
(26:24):
Teenagers can bounce back. Yes, but I remember tripping all
the time when I'd wear those big, chunky, blackie platform
shoes and my ankle kind of twist to the side.
I thought, I'm lucky I never broke a leg with those.
Speaker 3 (26:37):
The kind of shoes that we continue to put our
feet into.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
Right, I'm like, what what are we trying to do
to ourselves with us? Like, seriously, I got the high heels,
like they really high heels, because I think that is
flattering to your legs. Uh huh. But uh yeah, there
are certain things I'm like, I'm just not going back here.
Why are we doing that? Why? All right, I'll check
in a minute, but you can next us seven seventy
nine sixty two, start with higher hay and tell us
(27:04):
what you're glad is gone? What trend are you glad
and what one would you like to see go away?
Eli young Man ninety three point one wpocee. We'll get
to Mitchell tenpenny here in a minute. So when Marcy
got home the other day, she was shocked to find
(27:25):
there was a family in her swimming pool, strangers who
claimed they had rented the pool for thirty five dollars
on the swimply app Apparently it was that pool was
listed by a former owner of the house who moved
out in twenty twenty two. Oh man, So of course Marcy,
(27:49):
I guess threw the people out, reported the ad to
the app and it was promptly removed. She also contacted
the police. She was told no action could be taken
because there was no criminal in Yeah, I mean, you're
not going to arrest the people they thought they.
Speaker 3 (28:02):
Paid thirty five dollars, No, yeah, no, but they should
find the old owner.
Speaker 2 (28:07):
Yeah. Concerned about future incidents, she's probably going to put
a locked fence. Install a lock on her fence, She said,
I just don't want to spend the rest of my
summer watching my yard. What a liability too? Yeah, right,
I guess that there is a million dollar insurance policy
if you are a host an automatic if you put
(28:29):
that out on Yeah, if you put that out you
cannot just rent pools. You can rent other spaces like
your yard. I guess if you have a big yard,
maybe for someone's special event. I don't know. I don't
know that I would consider doing that. I doubt it.
Would you ever rent part of your yard? Yeah? I mean,
(28:50):
I don't know. I don't want to say never. Yeah. Yeah, hey,
why not see how well? See how despert we get here? Yeah?
I was trying to think of a one of the
thoughts that I had when I was thinking about weird
things you'd find when you come home. We used to
have a dog. We eventually actually adopted the dog and
it lived with us. A neighbor's dog, who was a
(29:11):
terrier didn't really like being around small kids, and the
family had four young kids, so we didn't Our kids
were all older, so it would come down to our house.
Because we always had multiple dogs and the dog like
the dogs. But we would come back from being gone
on vacation and this dog would be sitting on the
table on our deck, like just waiting for us to
(29:33):
come home. Oh that's cute. Her name was Paige and
she was beautiful, and yeah, we eventually we called it
like a co ownership thing, but she lived at our
house and she just couldn't take it over there. Did
you take all the noise? So we eventually just talked
to the neighbors and they said, yeah, if you want
(29:53):
her to stay there, that's great and it would be
better for us. Yeah, it all worked out so, but yeah,
the dog would be there on the table, like, where
have you guys been? I've been down here every day.
That was before we had her move in permanently and
then we started taking her on vacation with us. Have
you ever come home and found something odd?
Speaker 4 (30:13):
You know?
Speaker 2 (30:13):
I feel like I've.
Speaker 3 (30:15):
Come home to a leak on multiple cases. Yes, And
that really ruins your day, especially.
Speaker 2 (30:22):
Like if you've been gone for a week, you've been
on vacation, and you come home and there's three feet
of water in your way. Why is something always leaking
right I'm home? What happened. What's with all the leaking together?
If you want to give us your story. You got home,
maybe it was after being gone for a week on vacation,
or maybe it was just a day after work. You
(30:44):
come home and there's something weird that you have found.
We would love your story. Seven seven nine six ' two.
Text that and start with higher hay. We want to
know what's going on at your place. Okay, here's Mitchell

Speaker 2 (31:27):
Well, the fury over inflated ticket prices has been a
major topic lately. The Department of Justice has filed antitrust
lawsuits against Live Nation in the House of Representatives is
passing a bill requiring greater transparency in ticket pricing. But
now a major American city has filed a lawsuit against StubHub. Washington,
DC is suing StubHub over its quote drip pricing practice,
(31:52):
in which hidden fees are applied to ticket transactions at
the last minute. The lawsuit targeting Stubhub's fulfillment and service fees,
which usually appear at the end of the buying process,
so customers who have already gone through as many as
a dozen pages are confronted with new fees and with
a timer that forces them to quickly decide whether or
not to go through with the sale the transaction. So
(32:14):
this makes it nearly impossible for consumers to know whether
or not they're getting a good price or what is happening.
They say that stub hubs hidden fees can add up
to as much as forty percent onto a ticket price. Wow,
that's kind of amazing.
Speaker 3 (32:29):
Well, especially if you don't if it's a surprise once
you get to the end, you're.
Speaker 2 (32:33):
Like, ah yeah. More than one hundred cameras are now
installed along the mont patrail in Harford County. The decision
to place them there was made after mother of five,
Rachel Moore and was murdered last year. Installation of the
cameras started back in March. So far, they've already helped
in a missing person's case and the theft of some
(32:53):
construction equipment. Oh wow. County leaders say the cameras are
going to help to prevent crimes in that area, which
was the idea. You always read these sad stories in
the summer. I'm just reading this story because I want
to remind people how important it is to make sure
you don't leave a child in a car. Six month
old died after being left in a car while their
parent was at work in East bent Rouge, Louisiana. They
(33:17):
didn't realize that they had forgotten to drop the baby
off at daycare. And that has been the answer that
a lot of parents have said in these cases. They
thought they had done it. You know, you're just one parent.
So they actually went to the daycare after work to
pick up the child and they said, well, you never dropped,
(33:38):
can you. I just can't imagine that horror. So please
as just a reminder and a reminder too that today
there is a Code Orange air quality alert in effect
for people living in this area. So you know there
are certain kids and older people and people who have
asthma heart disease. You should be particularly careful today about
(34:01):
being outdoors and staying hydrated and avoiding any exercise of
any kind out there. All right, coming up on your
brief after Luke Colmbs, what are you going to be
talking about? Okay?
Speaker 3 (34:10):
There are a couple of new TV shows that I'm
excited about, okay. And then Demi Levato's working on a
new project that, like, I'm actually really interested in.
Speaker 2 (34:20):
So okay. I did hear a little bit, but i
didn't read the whole thing, so I'm anxious to hear more.
I think it's going to be good. All right, here's

Well, the Federal reserved exactly what everybody thought they would
do yesterday there, keeping the current interest rate of five
point two percent to five point five percent in place.
The chairman, Jerome All said that the agency could cut
the rate at the September meeting if current trends in
the economy continue. Wow. Yes, that's a little bit of
(35:08):
good news. Former President Trump says he will go back
to the city of his attempted assassination. He delivered those
remarks in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania yesterday. It was the first time
he was back in the state since the assassination attempt
in Butler almost three weeks ago. Now. He told supporters
at the rally that he wasn't deterred by the attack.
(35:28):
He then went on to refer to the Vice president,
saying he didn't need a star to get thousands of attendees,
referring to how several stars have appeared at her rally
in Atlanta on Tuesday, like Megan the Stallion and some others.
But speaking of the Vice President, she has scored a
(35:49):
major endorsement. Yesterday, the United Auto Workers gave her their
endorsement for president. Oh wow. Maryland State Board of Elections
is looking speaking of the election, for election judges for
the November presidential election. Eligible Marylanders who are hired will
answer voters' questions, help with check ins, and contribute to
a quote smooth and secure voting experience. Election judges will
(36:13):
be paid for their service. They will report about an
hour before polls open and serve until all duties are
completed once the polls close. That election November fifth, by
the way, and a fun job. Yeah right. Twenty one

of that?
Speaker 3 (36:53):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (36:54):
I don't think. I mean, if I want AI, I
mean I can always talk to Alexa when I'm home.
I don't think I need to wear something. What do
you think would you do it? I'm a little creeped out?
Should I be?
Speaker 3 (37:06):
Or?
Speaker 2 (37:06):
I mean, it's like it's something you would think would happen.
It's not shocking, right right. I guess I'm just disappointed.
Speaker 3 (37:13):
Yeah, but it could also be like I used to have,
like a I think they're called nano pets back in

be something like that, like a Nano I got like
