Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now we've been talking about Jennifer Garner. She was stuck
in an elevator for an hour and twelve minutes during
Comic Con, and I was asking if anyone has ever
been stuck in an elevator, wouldn't you know what the
phones are slammed? Or were you stuck anywhere? Any good
stuck stories? They're always my favorite. All right, let's start
with TJ. Phones were busy? You were stuck in an elevator?

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Yeah. When I was in eighth grade, we took a
class strip down to the Sears Tower and we got
stuck in the elevator in the Series Tower and no
one of the higher floors. Yo, fine, skydeck is where
the I think, And we were stuck like Peter bilding
up or coming down Kyle, like everybody was streaking out

(00:41):
naturally because it was scary, and there was a bunch
of us in the elevator. And I actually got a
commendation from the principle because I got everyone to calm
down and we all started singing songs and oh, really.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
That's awesome, because I got to tell you it's bad
enough to be stuck in the elevator, but to be
stuck at the Sears or Willis Tower. That's next level.
I would definitely panic. There has to be a lot
of kub Yah singing, a lot of singing.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Well, it's like you're a Chicagoans. You can't call it
the Willis Towers the Sears Power.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
I don't. I really don't. But when I talk to
my kids, I'm like Sears Tower, you know, Willis Tower.
All right, Well, I knew I loved you. I can't
believe you calmed everybody, but that makes sense. Well, you
have the best day. I'm so glad you called in
with them. Bye. All right, light up, I can't stop
these Tina. You were stuck in an elevator too.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
I was doing I'm really a banker, but I do
instacart instacart on the side, and I went into one
of these old school brown buildings that have like a
thousand apartments in there, and it's four floors. So I
went into the small elevator that holds only two people,
and it's one of those old elevators that when you
get inside you gotta like cold state.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
Yeah, the oh my god, this is the ones that
scared me the most. Okay, yeah, you get in that little,
tiny thing with all your groceries.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Yeah, the grocery, but I'm delivering for somebody else, right,
And then I can't get off of it. And then
I had to call that nine one one button, but
s YI, nine one one emergency doesn't come. They had
to call the building maintenance guy that lives in the building.
It's like some Ranchet buildings. And then he's knowing for
me on the first I'm like, I'm up, I'm up.
Heying on the fourth floor and I don't know what
buttons he push and eventually like he had a run

(02:21):
up this year, So I was stuck there for a while.
I was stuck there for just thirty minutes, and eventually
he got me from the top floor and I was
just dying, like there's no air in the elevator and
you could already put two people in this rink.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Oh yeah, I almost.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
I'm literally freaking out. The only thing that saves this story.
The only thing is that you had grocery. I'd be like, okay,
at least I could eat.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
I didn't think about that at the time, but right now,
and I was telling I have my kids on the
story at my seventeen and my eleven year old smart.
She's like, Mom, you know you could have just said
those groceries on Like, I didn't even think about that
at the time. I was panicking.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Next time, just tell them you're leaving their groceries at
the door. They can come on down and get them.
I do that. Just come get your gross trees. That's
all great. I'm so glad you're called, and I'm so
glad you're okay.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
Yeah, thank you so much. It was a pleasure today.
You have a great day.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
You Tail'll talk to you sick.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Okay, okay,
