Now here's the man who's been recognized as radio's best,
the recipient of not one, but two prestigious Marconi Awards
for his broadcast excellence, the one and only Bill Cunningham.
Speaker 4 (00:48):
All Right, Philly Cunningham, the great American. Thanks for listening tonight,
and I also want to thank some one million listeners
across the country tune and every Sunday night. And this
show is growing. It's been growing for about fifteen years.
The media, according to the American people, is not believed
by about seventy five percent of us. We do not
believe NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, do not believe PBS, NPR.
(01:11):
We don't think we'll get the objective, hard facts from
the New York Times or the Washington Post. So podcast
and talk radio fills in the void to give you
information otherwise not present or ignored because it doesn't fit
the left wing bias of the mainstream media. So thank
you for listening. I can't say that enough. Thank you
for making this life of mine a whole lot better
(01:31):
than otherwise would be. Privately, things are great, have Thanksgiving
planned and I have about twenty five people over to
the house, and as you know, it's my tradition to
have all the women come about two o'clock or three
o'clock in the afternoon. And I have a massage table
set up and a part of my house, and I
also have a petties and the mannies are available. I
know women work hard to prepare Thanksgiving dinner, hopefully by
(01:55):
six pm on Thanksgiving night, and it's a wonderful gathering
of the cunning clan. And you know, without women, I
was born of woman, I was raised by women, I
dated women, I married a woman, and I have a
beautiful granddaughter that I love her dearly. And when I die,
I'll be cared for by women. So without women, we
(02:16):
men will still be savages. So I want to thank
all the women. I know it's a bit premature, but
what about eleven days away we're going to have Thanksgiving.
But I tend to think that women do about ninety
percent of the work and men eat ninety percent of
the food. So we thank women greatly for making us
less than savage, and for making my life so good.
(02:38):
Whenever I reflect upon I watched this one series. I
think it was on CBS Morning News. Every now and
then Ted Copple does something right. On CBS Morning News,
he had a segment about how hard it is to
be a lower middle class or a poor American without
a place to live. He had a story this morning.
Three women in the Atlanta area. One had eight children.
(03:00):
One might ask where are the fathers? And at some
point you have to realize how those things happen. But nonetheless,
and this woman gets up every day, works about fifty
hours a week and has eight children and has completely overwhelmed.
Another one had four kids, and another one I had
some disabilities of one type or another. So whenever I
think my cup is about three quarters full, I look
(03:21):
at others and say, you know what, But for the
grace of God, there goes I. This is regressing a
little bit. But you might know that when I was
twelve or thirteen years old, my alcoholic father said that's it.
Left never saw him again the rest of my life.
I left my mother and it with an eighth grade education,
not working with four children of tender years. And but
(03:42):
for the fact my auntie and that Arling House took
us in to her home, a mother and four kids,
and she was already living with another sister and her mother.
There was quite a crew there and we slept together
quite often. I don't know what would happen to the
Cunningham plan, so I'm sure and that Arling House is
in heaven above with my dear mom, and I thank
you for the sacrifices you made the matter lives possible.
(04:04):
All four kids are extremely functional. All four of us
have advanced college degrees. One has passed on the other
three are still with us. And I have thanksgiving for
these sacrifices my family has made for me. So as
you get ready for Thanksgiving, I think of the same
thing about especially the women in your home who need
special attention in that special day. Now, let's get on
to the topic du jour. As you may know, I've
(04:27):
been somewhat recalcitrant in getting into the Jeffrey Epstein matter.
The reason is obvious to me. It was again tonight
that Halle Jackson NBC Nightly News did another segment in
which there were five or six women appeared to be
now in their forties and fifties who had pictures in
them with every teenage girls. And I've tried to stay
(04:48):
away from it because it's a classic dodge and a
diversion from not covering the good things happening in the
Trump administration. And there's lots of good stuff happening with
Donald Trump administration, including the precursors of fentanyl that now
won't be coming from China. The southern borders largely is functional,
and we're working through all the government benefits that are
(05:08):
wrongfully given to non Americans. The world is a much
more peaceful place than it was because of Donald Trump,
and I have great confidence in his ability to lead
us on. And so when the media can't cover the
right things going on with Donald Trump, they jump into
the Jeffrey Epstein sewer and cover that story again and
again and again, and on Tuesday, all hell's going to
(05:30):
break loose because there's going to be dozens of not
one hundred, of victims of Jeffrey Epstein that'll be on
the steps of the Capitol with pictures of them when
they were teenage girls sexually abused and trafficked by Jeffrey
Epstein and Julane Maxwell. And I certainly believe it happened
in fact, she was convicted and he was convicted and
(05:51):
early in twenty eight and then of course he hung
himself before the second trial would commence. And so did
it happen, Absolutely, no question about it. But I have
many questions about why is it being covered? In twenty
twenty five, we had four long years of the Joe
Biden Kamala Harris administration. They had access to in possession
(06:15):
of all the emails that the media once distributed today
and did nothing with them for four years. You cannot
tell me that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and James
Coney Comy and Mary Garland if there was something negative
about Donald Trump, would they have made that public?
Speaker 5 (06:33):
Do you think? Absolutely? Absolutely?
Speaker 4 (06:37):
It was well known, it was out there, and they
had the same access to the FBI files to doj
files on the Epstein files as Donald Trump has now
and did nothing with them for four years. It's kind
of like the dog that doesn't bark? Why didn't If
there's if there's inculplatory information about Donald Trump in those
(07:00):
files in possession of Mary Garland and James Comy and
Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, why'm were't they is closed,
one might say, because there isn't. I'll line up on
one side of the fence, those who say that Donald
Trump did not engage in sexual misconduct with teenage girls,
and the Jeffrey Epstein matter. I can line it up
from here to Tim Buck too, but it doesn't make
(07:22):
any difference to the media. One of the classic moments
tonight on NBC night inl the News with Halle Jackson.
I'll point out first of all that it's a criminal
defense attorney. I've represented many rapists who have raped women
and sexual assaults, maybe ten to fifteen trials over my career.
They're always sick and demented, but they need representation, damn it.
I provided it. So I get that women often don't
(07:45):
want to talk about these things because it is painful,
it's personal, and they hate it and it colors them
for the rest of their life. I understand that. So
Halle Jackson tonight, the main correspondent on Sundays NBC Nightly News,
had four or five present and they talked had pictures
of them when they were teenage girls, which I thought
(08:06):
was very poignant, and I can only imagine the difficulties
they've gone through in their life. And if you check
the NBC Nightly News website, which I have right here,
their names are President Epstein's survivors, et cetera. They're brave
women in their thirties, forties, and fifties, and many times.
These events started as early as nineteen ninety six with
(08:26):
a woman named Farmer, and she's still with us, thank god.
So she's approximately fifty years old, I would think, and
she claimed in nineteen ninety six that Jeffrey Epstein raped her,
and her story is quite believable. And she went to
the NYPD Sex Crimes Unit, and by the middle nineteen
nineties it was a well established unit. It was accepted
(08:47):
as a real thing. Maybe in the forties and fifties
and sixties it wasn't, but today it is. And after
a thorough investigation, NYPD decided not to follow criminal charges
against Jeffrey Epstein.
Speaker 5 (09:00):
In his mind, he got away with it.
Speaker 4 (09:02):
I'm not saying it happen or didn't happen, but no
criminal charges were filed. And the woman went on with
those lot, went on with her life, and she does
interviews right now. And this continued, I think from that
nineteen ninety six all the way through twenty nineteen before
he was arrested. Before Jeffrey Epstein was arrested, in fact,
a little side note, there was a Democratic female congresswoman,
(09:26):
shall I say, texting with Jeffrey Epstein before he was
killed himself. Epstein was suggesting questions to the Democrat interviewing
someone about the Epstein matter during a congressional hearing, which
is kind of sick, and said would you agree? So
since since this thing erupted in twenty oh six, seven
twenty eight in Miami Dade, there was women and men
(09:51):
that came forward to say Jeffrey Epstein was conducting some
sort of sex trafficking operation as affront, and that he
would provide two certain individuals young women in a sick
fashion to satisfy their sexual desires and sexual predilections. One
of them, of course, was the most noted one that
(10:12):
we have today is Virginia Geffrey, and she killed herself
about six months ago in Australia. And so Virginia Giuffrey
was sexually abused as a child, ended up on the street,
was an attractive woman that somehow made herself to a
modeling agency and somehow worked away because of Maxwell to
(10:34):
become a Chaws, a massage therapist for Jeffrey Epstein, and
so she was there for about two and a half years.
And from that there was a thorough investigation twenty six,
twenty seven, twenty eight eight, and of course Epstein had
access to the finest lawyer's money can buy, and an
odd twist and turn, the Feds, after a lengthy investigation,
(10:58):
many emails, many reports, its, many files, decided to let
the state authorities proceed, which is quite unusual. And state
authorities proceeded. He pled guilty to some offenses and received
about eight months in the county jail, but he got
work release almost immediately. So in the morning he would
report back to his mansions in West Palm Beach. Then
(11:20):
at night he'd report back to the jail. Most of
the time, some days he didn't. So from that two
year investigation we have reams of paper reports, emails, documents,
text messaging, grand jury materials that the Donald Trump administration
urged the judge to release, by the way, and the
(11:42):
judge said no. This is going back about a year,
and so we have reams of information thoroughly investigating Jeffrey
Epstein in twenty six twenty seven and twenty oh eight,
and there were many lawsuits filed subsequent to that in
which class action lawyers, and you know, class action law
players can be very direct, and they wanted to sue
(12:02):
everybody with a pocket, so they sued Jeffrey Epstein. They
sued banks, they sued insurance companies, They sued everyone they
could find who was involved in this thing directly indirectly,
including Prince Andrew, who down the road settled the case
for about twelve million dollars to get his name out
of the mix, but that didn't work either. According to
the women interviewed tonight by Hallie Jackson NBC Nightly News,
(12:29):
one woman said there's as many as one thousand female
victims of Jeffrey Epstein a thousand. Some have said one hundred,
some have said five hundred, whatever number it is, one
is way too many. But obviously there were at least
one hundred, maybe as many as a thousand of the
sexual operation. Media reports there was also videotaping of incidents
in which Jeffrey Epstein could use that as extortion against
(12:54):
others to get them to do what he wants to
have done, and the FBI rated to Island at some
point took his of tons of information out of Lolita
Island with all kinds of records and hard drives, etc.
Speaker 5 (13:06):
What's become of that?
Speaker 4 (13:07):
Nobody knows at this point, as wesider. In twenty twenty five,
there have been dozens, if not more than one hundred
class action lawsuits filed against New York banks, new York
brokerage firms that Jeffrey Epstein did, business, insurance companies, individuals
all over the place who allegedly were involved in this,
(13:28):
and as a consequence, almost every case has been settled.
And the number of people involved in the class action lawsuits,
many of which are still penning by the way, involved lawyers,
administrative assistants, paralegals, and clerks, also court personnel of every description.
So the number of people that have all the documents,
(13:48):
all the information going back twenty years of federal and
state and county investigations. About twenty thousand emails were released
about four or five days ago, which, according to the
testimony of these women, is the tip of the iceberg.
There's more than a one hundred thousand, one hundred thousand emails,
text messages, documents, gigabytes, maybe one hundred thousand documents might
(14:13):
have three to four hundred thousand pages of information.
Speaker 5 (14:16):
So today tonight I watched.
Speaker 4 (14:19):
The NBC Night Lows about six thirty pm on WLWT
in Cincinnati, NBC affiliate, and I'm waiting for Halle Jackson
to ask the question, who sexually abused you? Give me
names of men that you were traffic two, the rich
and the famous, billionaires, politicians, bankers, the rich and the famous.
(14:42):
The names are out there. Founders of Microsoft, big time lawyers,
members of the Clinton administration, Bill Clinton himself. I'm waiting
for someone to ask the question. Halle Jackson asked the question.
Here you sit six women who are now in the
the thirties and forties, and who raped you? Give me
(15:04):
the name? The question was an asked. In fact, I
can't watch everything and see everything simultaneously. I go to Wikipedia,
which I trust about half the time, and as some
names that people like Bill richardson there and Bill Gates
there and Bill Clinton there, et cetera. But we'd talk
about we'd have to talk about hundreds or a couple
thousand men over a thirty year period who were had
(15:28):
these girls trafficked to them, committing serious crimes against teenage
girls and even adult women if they're trafficked or whatever,
that's also a serious fello. And the human trafficking happens
when you're eighteen, nineteen, twenty, twenty five, fifteen, sixteen. It's
much worse, is it. Why isn't it asked of the
(15:48):
women who committed these crimes against you? And obviously, if
the Adam Shifts and the Jamie Raskins of this world
know who they are, and they imply, yes, we know
who they are, they also know that as a member
of Congress, these guys can go directly to the will
(16:12):
of the House, within their official duties and say whatever
they want to say about who raped these women and
why they were raped, and nothing can come of that,
and the no defamation or whatever, because the Speech and
Debate Clause of the United States Constitution gives each member
of Congress absolute immunity from legal consequences for anything and
(16:33):
everything they say on the floor of their respective chambers.
So if they have information as to the men that
did this, and I want to know their names from
classified to completely defamatory, they can read it out loud,
speak of it without an illegal replication repercussions at all.
For them on the floor. Why has that not happened?
I'm waiting anyone give me an answer on that one.
(16:56):
Who are they, what did they do? When did it happen?
How many times did it occur? And the answer is
we get nothing. Zero immunity is available to these Trump
hating democrats from AOC to Jamie Raskin, just get give
me the name. They can go on the floor of
(17:17):
the House or Senate and speak until their hearts content.
And if the victims, so to speak, do not want
to do it for fear of repercussions from the billionaires. Okay,
but the members of Congress knows they could announce the
names have complete absolute immunity by the US Constitution. Why
hasn't that happened? Now, let's continue, take a short break,
(17:40):
I'll continue. I want to get your reaction now to
what is behind the Jeffrey Epstein matter. Why isn't it?
Shall we say known as to the rapist? I want
the rapist names to be known. I want the objects
of the human traffickers to say either out loud directly
or the members of Congress would happened to them and
(18:03):
they can speak?
Speaker 5 (18:04):
Why has that not happened? Is there something else behind this?
Speaker 4 (18:08):
Eight six six six four seven seven three three seven
Bill Cunning and the great American with you and all
great Americans every Sunday night. Well, let's continue, and every
now and then I follow us. Congressman Roe OCNNA from California.
He gave it was an appearance today on NBC News
(18:32):
in which he said, this is not about Donald Trump.
He said, there, quote, there are a lot of other
people who were involved who have to be held accountable
quote unquote. And I'm sitting here thinking, okay. Here we
sit near Thanksgiving of twenty twenty five. This thing's been
(18:53):
under investigation full time for about twenty years and partially
for thirty years. Where are the name of the rapist
of the perverts, other than, of course Jeffrey Epstein and
Gallaine Maxwell. Where are the men who did this? There's
hundreds of men. Are we chasing our tail? Is there's
some reality we're missing? Let's continue. You have a call
(19:17):
from Jacksonville, Florida. Eight sixty six six four seven, seven
three three seven, Go Cunning in with you every seven.
Speaker 5 (19:30):
So here we go.
Speaker 4 (19:32):
Call us from Florida and Arizona many places. Eight six
six six four seven seven three three seven Do you
care about Epstein files? The media goes nuts, Tuesday is
going to be a big day, a couple other things,
and then LA, I want to get your opinions. NBC
News tonight has a story let me read you a
line from NBC News. Not exactly a fave of Donald Trump.
(19:56):
NBC News goes after him with hooks and claws, as
as ABC and CBS. The NBC News story says, among
the following about this matter, the President's name appeared frequently
in the emails, but Jeffrey Epstein did not in these
files accuse him of any wrongdoing or illegal activity. Can
(20:21):
you put that in ten point fifteen point italisized black letter?
Let me try this to you again. The President's name
appeared frequently in the emails, but Jeffrey Epstein did not
in these files accuse him of any wrongdoing or illegal activity.
Now is that the object of the media coverage? How
(20:44):
many times have you hear a ms now talk about
him being used? The term used by one of their
anchors a pedophile, for which she quickly apologized for say
it again. According to NBC News, Donald Trump was not
accused by Jeffrey Epstein of any wrongdoing or legal activity.
(21:07):
I'm not talking about something amounting to a crime. I'm
talking about wrongdoing. So we have lineup on my side.
Speaker 5 (21:14):
Of the table.
Speaker 4 (21:15):
My side of the table says, if there's any more
crimes or criminals, they'd be known already. And if Gallaine
Maxwell had the goods on anyone, especially Donald Trump, who
she says was a complete gentleman in her presence, But
if she had the goods on anyone, she would have
sung like a canary to get out from under twenty
(21:35):
years in jail.
Speaker 5 (21:36):
And she said nothing. She had to get out of
jail free card. She didn't use it.
Speaker 4 (21:40):
So on one hand, yeah, you have Gallaine Maxwell says Donald Trump,
to use her words, was a complete gentleman in her presence.
To use the words of Jeffrey Epstein, let me try
this again, Jeffrey Epstein did not accuse Donald Trump of
any wrongdoing or illegal activity. Throw it also on my
(22:03):
side of the table. Virginia Goufrey, she wrote a book
on the subject. She did not name names, but she
specifically said that Donald Trump was a gentleman every time
she saw him, and Geffrey that the main victim here,
said donald Trump did nothing wrong.
Speaker 5 (22:24):
So not one victim has.
Speaker 4 (22:26):
Come forward to say that I was trafficked to Donald
Trump as a teenage girl. How many out of the
one thousand, According to one guest this afternoon on NBC
Nightly News, none of the victims identified Donald Trump. Do
you believe the victims that none of the victims accused
Donald Trump? And do you believe them? I believe victims
(22:50):
the great majority of the time.
Speaker 5 (22:52):
Every time.
Speaker 4 (22:52):
No, But I say, very few victims of rape or
sexual assault when to publicized the fact of what happened.
But the victims are unanimous and saying we got nothing
on Donald Trump. Virginia Jeffrey the main victim who was
trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein. She says to many, many, many
(23:12):
over two and a half year period, said Donald Trump
didn't do anything. We have Gallaine Maxwell, who said if
I had information about Donald Trump, I wouldn't be sitting
in jail for twenty years. She's already done five years.
We have in addition to this, we have all the
lawyers and all the pair of legals and all the
administrative assistants in all the class action lawsuits. There's been
(23:35):
dozens filed through discovery of cross examining victims and witnesses
and doctors and cops and emergency rooms. Not one lawyer,
many of whom hate Donald Trump, have come forward to say, well,
I can put the hat on.
Speaker 5 (23:50):
Donald Trump said he did it.
Speaker 4 (23:51):
Not one throw on top of that, all the administrative assistants,
all the pair of legals none, and all the grand
jury testimony none on my side of the table. I
think NBC News said it tonight. The president's name, although
frequently mentioned in emails by Jeffrey Epstein, did not accuse
(24:13):
him of any wrongdoing or illegal activity. Like a tenfold
beacon of the night. There it is, So what can
come out on Tuesday? I have no idea. Another thing,
what isn't Donald Trump, which he said at one point,
continue to say release everything. He tried to get the
federal judge in Miami Dade County to release it, and
(24:33):
he said no, what is it? Well, it is grand
jury testimony generally not released. You have all the county
and police prosecutors in New York City, West Palm, Miami
Dade that their records generally are not released. But what
is released or all the emails from the estate of
Jeffrey Epstein and gleaned through the dozens of lawsuits of
(24:55):
all the information in the Department of Justice, and the
Democrats in the in the Department of Justice, certainly for
four years, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and James Comy
not exactly a fan of Donald Trump's, and Mary Garland
had all this information and released none of it. So
is there something in there against Donald Trump accusing him
(25:19):
by a victim or a knowing person of a wrongdoing
actor or legal act. The answer is no, it doesn't exist.
So once you remove the emotion and getting Donald Trump,
it appears at this point there's no there there. It
has done to smear Donald Trump without facts. Do you
(25:40):
believe the victims? I generally do. Do you believe Virginia Jeffrey, Yes,
you wrote a book about it. Donald Trump didn't do it.
Do you believe Ghlaine Maxwell, who said he was a
complete gentleman, or Jeffrey Epstein, who accused Donald Trump of
no wrongdoing? All the lawyers, the paralegals, the judges, all
of whom, all the lawsuits for twenty thirty years, all
(26:01):
the information, one hundred thousand documents, several gigabytes, five hundred
thousand pages, Donald Trump's names in it, but not accusing
him or any wrongdoing. So what in the hell are
we talking about? It is unbelievable unless you have a
bad case of Trump Derangement syndrome TDS. Have you got
that no piece of evidence or truth? Well, dare dislodge
(26:26):
the idea? You must get Donald Trump by any means necessary.
So I want to get your feeling on this. What
is behind this? Why is this happening now? Tuesday? The
rest of this week, the media is going to be
going nuts, And every time anyone brings it up. I
want to hear victims say who raped them? Who committed
(26:49):
sexual assaults on them? If you were trafficked to someone,
give me the name of the man who sexually abused you.
Who is that person, and then it's able to be investigated.
The only name has come up so far as Prince Andrew.
He's been defrocked and the Crown paid twelve million dollars
to Virginia Duffrey, And certainly I believe that's consciousness of guilt.
Speaker 5 (27:14):
That's one.
Speaker 4 (27:16):
Are there any anyone else? Raise your hand? The billionaires,
the bankers, the stockbrokers, the lawyers, the politicians, who are
they all this time? I'm waiting to hear names who
did this?
Speaker 5 (27:31):
Are you with me?
Speaker 4 (27:32):
Or are you against me? Let's go to the calls
cline becomes available, which it never does eight six six
six four seven seven three three seven. Sadly, I've been
reluctant to deal with this because I know what the
Democrats are doing, a classic smear tactic to blame Donald
Trump for the behavior of Jeffrey Epstein or Julane Maxwell,
(27:54):
when in fact, uh he kicked him out of his
social circle sometime in like twenty oh seven, twenty oh eight.
He was he pled guilty in twenty oh eight, and
when he got out and out of Miami and came
back to New York, I wouldn't note that George Stephanopolis
also called George Slappinopolis and Katie Corek was wind dined
(28:14):
in pocket Line by Jeffrey Epstein after they knew or
should have known, he was a pervert. So Katie Corek,
according to media accounts, and George Slappinopolis was wind and
dined in the Epstein mansion after he got out of
Miami Dade and went back to New York let's go
to the calls if Marian Wisconsin and many others, and
(28:35):
now what's behind it? Do you believe any of it?
For the next hour, so I want to deal with it.
Eight six six six four seven seven three three seven
Mary in Wisconsin, and then Lucy, Mary in Wisconsin, Welcome
to the Bill Cunningham Show, and give me a full report.
Speaker 6 (28:50):
Yes, Billy, I am reading Whitney Webb's One Nation Under
Blackmail and would that ever open your eyes to schools
all the way back to the nineteen twenties.
Speaker 5 (29:06):
Nineteen twenties been one hundred years.
Speaker 7 (29:11):
Crupt, crupt, and.
Speaker 6 (29:16):
It could really take downs many.
Speaker 4 (29:20):
Thank you for your call, Lucy, and Arizona the home
of the Wildcats and the sun Devils. Lucy, Welcome to
Bill Cunningham Show. Lucy, what do you think?
Speaker 7 (29:29):
I think that these were not choir girls. These were
girls that were not held against their will to do
anything they hadn't been doing with the captain of the
football team in the backseat of a car on Friday night.
If anybody is at fault, it was these girls' parents.
(29:52):
How could you let your child come home with a
lot of money not know where they've been for hours
or get for how at weeks, however long. This is
almost like another Cabanaugh where all these people got together.
I don't doubt that one young girl told another girl, Oh,
(30:14):
we're gonna get money to go here and be a massage.
I don't doubt that Jeffrey Epstein was a horrible, horrible person.
But I don't think all the fault belongs with the men.
I think that the reason these victims are not forthcoming
is because they were paid very well to do what
(30:36):
they did.
Speaker 4 (30:38):
Lucia two responses. One, Virginia Giuffrey was sexually abused. She
says when she was a little girl, she spent time
on the street, she was homeless, and she was easily
shall we say, course by Julanne Maxwell and in becoming
a massage therapist. I don't know about the other ones,
what their lives were like, but but we can't can't
(31:00):
say to a fourteen, fifteen, sixteen seven year old girl
that because you're knowledgeable about sex, that you're gonna have
sex with billionaire men's men and princes, et cetera. And
are you, as a woman, are you surprised at this
point that we don't have the names of these billionaire men,
bankers and lawyers who actually had sex.
Speaker 5 (31:21):
With the girls. Why aren't why aren't the names of
the men out there?
Speaker 4 (31:24):
If in fact there's hundreds of these guys, where are
they exactly exactly?
Speaker 7 (31:30):
This is the if the young girl, this is the fantasy,
and they've built a fantasy around some of this stuff,
and just somebody said, well, this is so and so,
and this is so and so, and this is so
and so, and they're just very influenced by Oh, this
is whoever it is. I just I believe this is
(31:54):
just blown so totally out of proportion. And let's get
Donald Trump. Well, I don't doubt that Jeffrey Epstein was
a horrible person. I don't doubt that there was some
very hokey stuff going on, But I don't believe Donald
Trump was involved in it. I don't believe a lot
(32:16):
of these people that have been accused. I mean, maybe
they got carried away, Maybe these girls did drugs, and
I've read that they did. They had alcohol and drugs
and all of this. But if this were so terribly bad,
why are we not seeing more of exactly an account
(32:39):
of who did what?
Speaker 4 (32:41):
Lucy, thank you for your call. I would say this,
Virginia Giuffrey is a very sympathetic victim because I read
some of her background. It was said, and if there
were crimes being committed and the police were notified, which
they were notified, the sex crimes unit in the mid
nineteen nineties, New York City didn't do a damn thing
(33:01):
about the alleged rape of this farmer woman who appears
to be a believable witness, at the hands of Jeffrey Epstein.
I'm waiting to hear the names of the men who
did this. Their names got to come out, and I
want to know who they are, and I'm sympathetic. We
have laws that say that if you're under eighteen, you're
gonna have sex with a man more than four years
(33:23):
your age, in other word, twenty over twenty two years old,
and the men who did this should be held to
account criminally and civilly. If some thirty five year old
New York banker had sex with a seventeen year old girl,
knowing I have reason believe she was seventeen, we have
laws to protect these girls, even if they're worldly, and
even if they have drug problems, even if they're drunk.
(33:43):
You can't do that, so I want to know who's responsible.
And Hallie Jackson tonight on AMBC Nightland News had a
perfect reason to say, all right, now, you're mature women.
Speaker 5 (33:54):
Now who did you have sex with against your will?
Who did you?
Speaker 4 (33:58):
Were you drunk? Were you're drugs? Were you trafficked? Were
you paid? Did what happened? I want to know the
men who did this and then we can fully evaluate. Okay,
this guy some of the names mentioned, or Bill Clinton,
for example, or Bill Gates, I believe one more than
the other. But nonetheless, why aren't there women identifying the
(34:21):
men who rape them and they were sexually trafficked to
Why is that the I want to know, because their
faces are out there, their names are out there, the victims.
Who are the men who committed the crimes? Who are they?
NBC News says it is not Donald Trump, So what
the hell are we talking about? Let's continue. Bill Cunningham
(34:42):
calls continue. We got Matt in Saint Louis and Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Florida,
all places in between. Bill cunning into Great American Live
with You every Sunday, and of course on Friday, media
attacks Caroline Levitt. She told reporters in the White House
(35:04):
on Friday, the quote, these emails prove absolutely nothing other
than the fact that President Trump did nothing wrong quote unquote.
Then and then Rocanna on the news shows today said,
among other things, this should be a political win for
Donald Trump because the emails do not indicate he did
anything wrong. That's according to NBC News in Rocanna. So
(35:29):
he gets exasperated and angry about it because he thinks
it's a hoax in the sense, not that the girls
are all of them every time are lying.
Speaker 5 (35:36):
That's not what he believes.
Speaker 4 (35:38):
He thinks the media is using this, which is a
big nothing burger politically in twenty twenty five, because he
doesn't want to keep talking about Ukraine, or don't we
talk about gods that, don't want to talk about the
southern border, don't want to talk about what's happening in Charlotte,
North Carolina with the arrest of eighty one vicious criminals,
don't want to talk about prices, which, by the way,
in the last month went up three percent three percent,
(36:00):
which is pretty good with full employment of four point
two percent, and according to Walmart, the turkey package for
Thanksgiving is going to be about twenty percent less than
it was last year, So you can't talk about that.
What you want to talk about is sex, sex and
more sex. And they keep bringing this up NBC News
once again. Let me read it again that the president's
(36:23):
name appeared frequently in the emails, the twenty thousand pages
of emails and documents from the Epstein estate, but Epstein
himself did not accuse Trump of any wrongdoing or legal
activity in twenty thousand pages of emails in his own
estate going back twenty five years. So we have the
victims have not identified Donald Trump as a perpetrator.
Speaker 5 (36:46):
We have his lawyers.
Speaker 4 (36:47):
Donald Trump's lawyers said no, The lawyers for Jeffrey Epstein
said no. All the attorneys representing all these dozens of
class action lawsuits against everyone, all of them have disclosed
nothing about it.
Speaker 5 (36:59):
No nothing.
Speaker 4 (37:01):
So I'm waiting to have a burger there. This is
a nothing burger. Do I have sympathy for those victimized
by human trafficking? Absolutely? Do I generally believe women when
that yes, I do. However, Donald Trump is what makes
it a hook for national media coverage. And the name
Donald Trump is in the emails, but that is not
(37:25):
in culplatory. That exects culplatory, which means there's no evidence
he did anything wrong. And my source for that are
the victims themselves who don't identify Donald Trump as a perpetrator.
And Jeffrey Epstein and Jelaine Maxwell, all of them have
said Donald Trump did not commit any offensive behavior towards
the girls.
Speaker 5 (37:43):
Can we stop the madness? Let's continue with your calls.
Speaker 8 (37:46):
Bill Cunningham with you every Sunday, Willie Brock.
Speaker 3 (38:13):
You by Choice Hotels a Conno Roger Roadway in hotels
are serving up double points for every qualifying stay book
at choice.
Speaker 2 (38:20):
Hotels dot com.
Speaker 3 (38:21):
Sal here's the man who's been recognized as radio's best,
the recipient of not won but two prestigious Marconi Awards
for his broadcast exodence.
Speaker 2 (38:31):
The one and only Bill cunninghad.
Speaker 4 (38:34):
Let's continue in your calls all over the country about
the Epstein matter. Then at the bottom of the hour,
we'll deal with other matters. But twenty fifteen, after he
came down the escalator, there was some reference that this
is going back what ten years he'd come down the escalator.
He did a brief interview with Bloomberg in twenty fifteen
(38:56):
and which Donald Trump in twenty fifteen represented jeff You said,
Jeffrey Epstein, and he hooked with Jeffrey Epstein the name
Bill Clinton because it was perceived in twenty fifteen he
was going to run against Hillary Clinton in twenty sixteen.
So who brought up Jeffrey Epstein's name ten years ago?
It was Donald Trump when he said in this interview,
(39:19):
and this is something that the Clinton should worry about.
This is ten years ago with Bloomberg Founded on the web.
Speaker 5 (39:26):
Danny Gleason hit it.
Speaker 4 (39:27):
You raised the question of Jeffrey Epstein in your remarks
event and Q and A.
Speaker 5 (39:31):
I think he's got a problem, don't think the problem.
I don't know.
Speaker 9 (39:34):
But that island was really a cesspool. There's no question
about it. Just ask Prince Andrew. Well, he'll tell you
about it. The island was an absolute cesspool. So and
he's been there for many times. Well, I can't say, Frinch,
but I know friendly you know them? Are you play
at my clubs a lot? I have clubs, and everybody.
Speaker 4 (39:51):
Likes to a political problem for her if she runs
for president.
Speaker 9 (39:54):
It could be a political problem. Look, he could be
a political problem. Right now, he's teflon and right now
maybe not, but he could end up being a political.
Speaker 4 (40:03):
Ten years ago, I followed the news as assiduously as
anyone else that the name Jeffrey Epstein was not on
my radar. Lolita Island Cesspool was not on my radar,
and Donald Trump being Donald Trump mentioned the first time
in the public domain Jeffrey Epstein ten years ago that
(40:24):
Bill Clinton's involvement with Jeffrey Epstein at that island, Lalita
Island Cesspool could be a problem. And so why would
Donald Trump, ten years ago, if he had personal liabilities,
bring up for the first time in the national public
(40:44):
domain the idea of Jeffrey Epstein and Bill Clinton if
he had some personal culpability. Once again, the President's name
appeared frequently in the emails, according to NBC News Tonight,
but Epstein did not in these files accused him have
any wrongdoing or illegal activity. BINGO, Let's go back to
(41:04):
your call. Thousands on hold, millions are listening. Let's go
to Matt in Saint Louis, the home of the Cardinals
who beat the Reds on a regular basis. Matt and
Saint Louis, Welcome to the Bill Show. Matt, how are
you good? Bill, How are you, sir, doing well? Go ahead,
I'd just like to throw a couple of things out you.
You're a very smart man. And I do know what
TDS is. My sister had that very bad. You can't
(41:26):
say anything positive about the administration without her warping the views.
It's crazy, but you know, I do remember sitting there
watching the TV. Pam Bondy had said that something along
the lines of the client list was on her desk
for a review. I remember the binders. There were people
going up the White House driveway getting binders.
Speaker 10 (41:48):
I don't know. There wasn't much information in there, but
she alluded to things coming out. Now it seems like
nothing is going to come out. I don't understand why
Maxwell is in a moved to a CHRISTI prison in Tech.
I think we all agree she's the epitome of evil, right,
I don't get why she gets that. And frankly, I
don't get the latest attacks on MPG and Massey, And
(42:09):
it seems the only reason Trump seems to be attacking
them is because they're pushing for the release of the files.
And I think the reason that we're all saying all
these questions of what if, what if? The only reason
we're talking about is because Trump has a release the
Epstein files. If he just released him, it would have
been a win. It would have been a win right away.
I just wonder what is holding him back.
Speaker 4 (42:31):
Ken Answell Roe Conna has said it, and I see
the turning of the screw a little bit here. It
appears the mainstream media is about to understand that Trump
was not one of the perpetrators of the teenage girls.
They're slowly turning the other direction, but talk about their
own making. Pam Bondi, Attorney General recently she was just
(42:51):
sworn in, said the Epstein list is on her desk.
She's going to release him. And they're all kind of
binders walking out down the driveway to the White House
from certain podcasters that she gave binders to that didn't
amount to hill of beans. And so sometimes they're their
own worst enemy. Donald Trump in twenty fifteen is talking
about Jeffrey Epstein and Bill Clinton.
Speaker 5 (43:13):
Why.
Speaker 4 (43:13):
I have no idea, because he must have known something
at that point. But I contend that the end of
the day, what's important here, Matt, is that Donald Trump
sexually abused, directly and directly involved at all in illegal
illicit activities of Jeffrey Epstein between nineteen ninety five and
twenty nineteen, when Epstein killed himself. The answers appears to
be no. Could there be a smoking gun out there somewhere.
(43:36):
I guess it's possible, But the victims of this have
not identified Donald Trump. Jeffrey Epstein said no. Virginia Duffrey
says no. Alan Dershowitz, who was the attorney for Epstein,
says no. All the lawyers on these got hundreds of
millions of dollars in class action lawsuits. They all none
(43:57):
of them identified Donald Trump? And so why if I'm
Donald Trump, I don't pay much attention to advice from
the Clinton eases, but get it all out assuming I'm
not sure the files are going to come out, because
if the House votes to do it, okay, then the
Senate's got to vote to do it over sixty okay.
(44:18):
Then the president's got to sign a law, and then
it can be overridden in the Senate.
Speaker 5 (44:22):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (44:23):
If I'm the president, I'm as pure as I appear
to be based upon all this other information, why not
say it's going to hurt a few people. There's some
names in there. They can't defend themselves anywhere. Like Bill Richardson,
you an ambassador under Clinton is dead. Supposedly he's one
of the guys. Bill Gates is still with us. Rumors
are Melinda left him Bill Gates because of this.
Speaker 5 (44:45):
I don't know, but whatever it is, it is.
Speaker 4 (44:47):
Prince Andrews said, the photo, the famous photos is AI.
It's a bunch of crap.
Speaker 5 (44:52):
I don't know. How about getting all the names?
Speaker 4 (44:55):
Do you find an odd, Matt that none of the
victims have identified Donald Trump as a perpetrator?
Speaker 5 (45:00):
Yeah, he continues to act as if you're trying to
hide something.
Speaker 10 (45:04):
Yes, yes I do, and I and I and I
see what the news is doing. You know a separate
example that it goes along with Epstein and everything. I
see it every day on CNN. No they ever talk
about the price of eggs and the price of gas
before would bide And now if you ever bring up
the fact that if I go to the grocery store,
I can get two dozen eggs for four to fifty
(45:26):
not story at the gas pump and it's two fifty
five here And see Lewis I paid.
Speaker 4 (45:30):
Two I paid two thirty nine today in Cincinnati. So
the overall inflation rate is three percent. Now, like this
morning ABC News with George Slappnopolis Jonathan Carr put up
like six items that were more expensive, and I've always
working for Donald Trump, I would have been more more
effective than Kevin Haslin. But nonetheless, there's six items.
Speaker 5 (45:51):
I can tell you.
Speaker 4 (45:52):
Overall is three percent, which is damn which is pretty
damn good. But why doesn't Donald Trump say I.
Speaker 5 (45:58):
Didn't do it. I have proof I didn't do it.
I know I didn't do it.
Speaker 4 (46:02):
I'm gonna do everything in my power to release everything
that I got and let the chips fwhere they may
with the bank. Do you think there's hundreds of billionaires, financiers, lawyers,
and politicians who sexually abused girls under Jeffrey Epstein's watch.
That's what the girls are saying, right Well, who are they? What?
Speaker 5 (46:24):
Who? What?
Speaker 10 (46:25):
What? We'd like to know? And you know, if Trump
isn't on the list, and likely not given everything we've seen,
but again, he's leaving the suspicion in the air for
all of us to have the conjecture that we don't know.
But having said that, you know, I don't think I
would say I don't think he did, but a lot
of the people who probably did, probably as finance, not
(46:46):
just his campaign, but both sides, every politicians campaign. So
you know, it's probably hot stove. He doesn't want to touch,
and I get it, no politician would want to touch it.
But then again, we all voted for Trump because he
wasn't the average politician, That's right. I hope at the
end of the day, if it does get through the
House somehow, and it does somehow get the sixty votes,
I can't imagine Trump wouldn't sign it. I think the
(47:07):
backlash would be crazy, and I still would too. What
are your thoughts on Maxville in Texas well?
Speaker 4 (47:13):
I think she's being given better treatment because uh, I
don't know. I think number one, if Trump pardons her,
that's a serious, serious blunder. I think she's a very
bad person who did very bad things, and she goes
to do I've been in federal prisons representing clients. There's
no such thing as a posh country club prison, even
(47:34):
the one in Nashville, North Carolina, which I've been to
to visit some I had a friend of mine on
tax evasion was convicted.
Speaker 5 (47:41):
It's not good, but it's not like locked down like Joliet. Uh.
That looks bad. That looks bad for Donald Trump.
Speaker 4 (47:47):
UH to give her some favorite treatment when she's a
human trafficker. But but if she's a human trafficker, I
like to know where where are the traffic traffic ees?
Who are the where are the men? And she is
said in their statements to the AG's office that all
the names available are out there, there's no other names.
(48:08):
And what names are out there? I'm not aware of
any men's names, are you? I look at Wikipedia. I
see seven or eight names. I don't know if they're
guilty or not. How about the victims of the crime
identifying the perpetrator?
Speaker 5 (48:21):
Does that make sense to you?
Speaker 4 (48:22):
Instead of a news article, a magazine, a book, Hallie
Jackson NBC, How about the victims identifying the perpetrators?
Speaker 5 (48:32):
Does that make sense to anybody?
Speaker 11 (48:34):
No?
Speaker 10 (48:35):
But I will say if Trump somehow, if the epsteam
files aren't released, and on top of that, somehow Maxwell's pardoned,
which I think if if somehow Trump would pardon Macnew,
he would have to wait until the end of his
presidency because if he didn't, I do think MAGA would
turn I mean one of the worst things I thought
Biden did, The one that sealed the absolute deal for
(48:57):
me is when he pardoned the entire family. Why it
was the whole deal. I know he's corrupt. Six when
he when I found out twenty minutes after he got
on that helicopter and he pardoned everybody, I was so furious.
Speaker 11 (49:10):
I was done.
Speaker 10 (49:11):
Now, if Trump pardons Maxwell in a similar fashion, I'd
imagine he'd wait till the end. I don't think he can.
But if somehow he does that and the ftem bills
aren't released, it's going to cause the most razy suspicion.
What we're talking about now is going to be ten
times worst, you know, with the suspicion. So let's just
I'm just hoping.
Speaker 5 (49:28):
I'm hoping. I'll see what happens.
Speaker 4 (49:29):
But there's so much good stuff happening in the country
right now that's not being covered because of the media
is using this Jeffery Epstein to attack indirectly Donald Trump.
When these bombshells came out, these twenty thousand emails a
few days ago, it was a lead story ABC, NBCCBS,
pbsc MS. Now Ever, on the hour, every hour it
(49:51):
came out more bombshells. The term was bombshell. It's a bombshell,
and then I read the stories quote. The President's name
appeared frequently in the twenty thousand emails, but Epstein did
not in these files accuse him of any wrongdoing or
legal activity in that what's important, but just to mention
someone as a bombshell implicitly communicates the idea that Trump
(50:13):
is involved. When the when the victims say no, and
Epstein's lawyers say no, and Epstein said no, and Jelaane
Maxwell says no, and all the lawyers of the class
action lawsuits say no, and the Democratic politicians who do
not go to the well of the floor and the
House of the Senate, they have complete civil immunity of
(50:35):
saying anything they want to say, and not one is
gone there, and give me the names of the perpetrators.
Speaker 5 (50:40):
Why is that?
Speaker 4 (50:41):
Maxwell says in her statement, there's no other perpetrator.
Speaker 5 (50:45):
This is all made up. I'm thinking, I don't believe that. Either.
Speaker 4 (50:48):
I don't know if there's hundreds of billionaires and lawyers
who have done this or there's.
Speaker 5 (50:53):
Only two or three. I don't know. I tend to
think there's hundreds.
Speaker 4 (50:57):
But why can't the victims identify the perpetrators.
Speaker 5 (51:02):
Now there's a novel suggestion. I'm a victim.
Speaker 4 (51:05):
This is what this guy did to me, this is
how he did it to me, this is where he
did it to me. This is why he did it
to me. I like to know that, right, But it's
not happening. Twenty minutes after the air bill cunning in
with you every summer. Now, let's continue with your calls.
(51:29):
I feel frustrated, I feel angry. I feel is that
I if justice is not being done to the victims
and to Donald Trump and of these other guys whose
names I look at Wikipedia.
Speaker 5 (51:41):
I'm not going to mention their names.
Speaker 4 (51:43):
Wikipedia is right about half the time putting names out
there of allegations that are unproven.
Speaker 5 (51:50):
Why is it happening.
Speaker 4 (51:51):
It's happening to derail the policies of Donald Trump, to
smear him indirectly. That's why it's being done. It's not
being done to benefit the the victims at all. This
is the most thoroughly investigated crime since the Kennedy assassination,
by multiple agencies, multiple years, multiple decades, literally hundreds or
(52:17):
thousands of investigators involved every aspect of his life class
you know, class action lawyers do a fantastic job in
seeking money for the redress of those who have been injured.
And I look online at the number of lawsuits filed
against almost everybody in New York City, banks and brokerage
firms and credit unions. Also the estate of Jeffrey Epstein
(52:40):
at hundreds of millions of dollars in it. Claims are
being made against that. There's new lawsuits being filed monthly
weekly involving the victims of Jeffrey Epstein's human trafficking and
sexual activities. Perverts, drugs are being used, teenage girls being
juiced up, et cetera. I read these allegations. I mean, Okay,
(53:01):
who did it? We know Jeffrey Epstein did it. We
know Ghlaine Maxwell did it. And she supposedly also jumped
in had Lesbie in love with some of these teenage girls.
In addition to other things. She was a recruiter and
she I want to get your reaction to this one.
Over the next thirty to forty minutes she has in
(53:24):
her head. I guess the names of all these men,
these guys right where are they are? Reading stories from
Gallainne Maxwell. One of her depositions which she gave as
part of one of the lawsuits, indicate that she can
add no one else, no other men, no other perpetrators.
Speaker 5 (53:48):
All the names are out there and that's the end
of it. Are you kidding me?
Speaker 4 (53:52):
Can that be true that Jeffrey Epstein almost by himself,
sexually trafficked up to a young girls too? To who
who is it? I need the names from every objective indicator.
One name not mentioned and cannot be mentioned as Donald Trump.
(54:15):
They're all saying he's not the one we know in
New York City. After he did his time in Southeast Florida,
he went back to his uh to his mansion in
New York City, and George Sloppanopolis of ABC News went
to Epstein's welcome home dinner at his mansion in Manhattan
(54:37):
and some of the people there were the shakers and
movers of media throughout New York City, including Katy Corek.
What a decent human being associate with a known sexual
trafficker of girls? What did George Slappinopolis know and when
did he know it? Or Katy Corek, hell, I don't know?
(54:58):
And uh Saane Maxwell had the ability of come clean
with a whole bunch of names, get out of jail
free card.
Speaker 5 (55:04):
She didn't do any of it. She accepted a twenty
year sentence.
Speaker 4 (55:07):
When she was on trial, the prosecutors tried to get
her to come clean, tell us what you know, you're
gonna if you're convicted, you're gonna go to prison for
like decades. And she's sixty three years old. Right she
went to trial, she was fifty nine. Lay out what
you know, and well, we'll trust, but verify you know anything.
(55:29):
She says, I wouldn't believe it. You'd have to have
two or three objective verifications and anything. I wouldn't accept
what her name is. Terrible person. But she had the
ability to trade out information in exchange for get out
of jail free card, and she didn't. She says, I
(55:49):
have nothing else to say. If I could give you
more names, I would. She's given us hardly any names
other than Prince Andrew. Did Prince Andrews sexually molest a
thousand girls? I don't think, what the hell are we
talking about. Let's get your calls and we have full lines.
Get to him the line becomes available, which it never does.
Eight sixty six six four seven seven three three seven.
Speaker 5 (56:11):
We'll see what comes with this.
Speaker 4 (56:13):
And Jeffrey Epstein was a well known financier and a Democrat.
A Democrat. He was a Democrat. He wasn't a Donald
Trump mega Republican. In fact, Donald Trump kicked him out
of mar A Lago in like twenty oh six, twenty
oh seven when this stuff started in Miami.
Speaker 5 (56:32):
Trump say he's a bad guy, he's out of here.
But Donald Trump's the only one held responsible for all
this crap.
Speaker 4 (56:39):
And according to NBC News, President's name appeared frequently in
the emails, but Jeffrey Epstein did not in these files.
Twenty thousand plus other exhibits accuse Donald Trump of any
wrongdoing or a legal activity.
Speaker 5 (56:55):
So what in the hell are we talking about?
Speaker 12 (56:58):
Now?
Speaker 4 (56:59):
Your calls continued, Bill Cunning in the Great American with
all give me your thoughts on this, Bill Cunning and
the Great American with you every Sunday. No, well, u's
continue with your calls and just refresh my truth social account.
(57:24):
How about this one quote from Donald Trump himself tonight quote,
House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files because
we have nothing to hide. He wrote that about an
hour ago. I haven't refreshed truth Social since I got
on the air, let me try that again.
Speaker 5 (57:41):
I just had a call from Saint Louis. Quote.
Speaker 4 (57:44):
House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files because
we have nothing to hide truth, Trump wrote on Truth
Social Sunday night tonight. So why fight like ray not
to release the files. Call Marjorie Trader Green, go after
(58:05):
Thomas Massey. If you're going to say release the files,
what the hell?
Speaker 11 (58:09):
What?
Speaker 10 (58:10):
So?
Speaker 4 (58:11):
If the House Oversight Committee releases all the files of
Jeffrey Epstein, if the Estate of Jeffrey Epstein releases all
the files and emails that they have, if the Department
of Justice under Donald Trump and Pam Bondy release all
(58:32):
the files, well that satisfy anybody. No, they're still grand
jury testimony under oath in the Southern District of Florida
that have not been released because it's grand jury testimony
generally not released even though Epstein is dead. But the
(58:53):
federal judge there said, no, we're not going to release it.
It's not one of the exceptions. So will this satisfy
the suffering from TDS Trump to arrangement syndrome. No, we're
not satisfying because it'll be a bombshell that Trump's name
is mentioned in an email, not that he's committed any offense,
but that his name is mentioned in an email. That'll
(59:16):
be it. Let's continue. Thousands on old millions are listening.
Let's go to Gerald and Jacksonville, Florida. And uh, Gerald
and Jacksonville, Florida. Welcome to the Bill Cunningham Show. And Gerald,
how are you fine?
Speaker 13 (59:30):
Mister Turnham think you're thinking about Cole that as always
holding tight you live big bugs bite just quick emphasis.
I want to give my condoledness to the pre family
first of all, utmost and all the other ones that
had been victimized.
Speaker 10 (59:44):
It might have been young at their time and probably
eradicated it. And what they're doing, the jimmies there just
stored and dirty laundry. They got enough else better to do.
So if President trub wants to settle it, you know
are because he's the president of the United States. They
waited so long to sign the bill for openly unfortunately,
so this is like in your face as he wants to.
(01:00:05):
He's the president and sure enough can step back a
little squador a little bit, not as Republican buddies.
Speaker 4 (01:00:11):
So well, he said, he said, about forty minutes ago.
He wants now the Republicans to vote to release. So
what's going to happen now here we go? The House
is going to vote on Tuesday or Wednesday. Okay, it's
gonna be overwhelming. Release the release the files from DOJ
whatever is in control of the executive branch of government.
Speaker 5 (01:00:30):
I release it.
Speaker 4 (01:00:30):
Then they're going to go to the Senate, and I hope.
John Thune of South Dakota quickly says, okay, we're going
to vote on that immediately, and then had the President
sign it. And whatever it is it is, there'll be
a bunch of names, maybe innocent parties in there, maybe
guilty parties.
Speaker 5 (01:00:44):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:00:45):
Unfortunately, the President said about an hour ago, release the files.
It's a reversal. Get it done, whatever it is it is,
and move on.
Speaker 13 (01:00:55):
Little caveat in the state of Florida, Bill, if I may,
there's no steal limitations on pedophiles that might be of
some people.
Speaker 4 (01:01:05):
It is, well, you know, I don't want to disagree
with Megan Kelly, but a pedophile is the is the
rape or sexual activity with a child under the age
of eleven or twelve before puberty and so it's it's
a child rapist different than a pedophile. To me, that's
a distinction without much of a difference. But nonetheless, there
(01:01:25):
should be no statue of limitations on a child.
Speaker 5 (01:01:28):
Uh you know what the age is in Florida, I
don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:01:30):
I have a home there, but I don't know. Is
a seventeen is a ten or twelve?
Speaker 5 (01:01:34):
I don't know.
Speaker 13 (01:01:36):
I'm thinking at eighteen under, eighteen eighteen and under.
Speaker 5 (01:01:38):
But I'm fine.
Speaker 13 (01:01:39):
I looked at it. I didn't see the specks, but
it just said, you know, I read some words real quick.
Speaker 5 (01:01:44):
Fine with me.
Speaker 4 (01:01:46):
If some man had sex with a sixteen, seventeen, twelve
year old, I think the older you get, it's all bad.
If you have rape a woman who's twenty five, it's
all bad. And so whatever it is, it is. And
but according to everyone up to this point, Trump's name
is gonna be all over the Epstein files, but none
of it's going to accuse him of wrongful behavior. It'll
(01:02:08):
be a bombshell, but it will exonerate Donald Trump, is
what I what I believe is the case according to
NBC News.
Speaker 13 (01:02:16):
And they're just going to flame all the victims. Just
I think they would honorable Cavanaught. They took time be
thrue Hill, and you know that's what they're doing now.
They're scratch these these dead wounds have been very for years,
and these people are going to be traumatized all over
again because they want to make pity with the with
the President of the United States.
Speaker 4 (01:02:34):
I don't know if you saw Hallie Jackson to not
an NBC Nightly News, the lead story was like five
or six of these women. They appeared now to be
in their thirties, forties and fifties, and they had pictures
of that where they were teenage girls. They're going to
be in Congress on Tuesday, and they're gonna let the
chips fall where they may, whatever it is it is.
But I would like to know the names of the rapist.
(01:02:57):
I want to know the names and the men who
did this to these girls. I went to know their names.
They should be held accountable, civilly and or criminally. Gerald,
do you agree with me. I want to know who
they are, who these guys are.
Speaker 5 (01:03:09):
I want to know.
Speaker 13 (01:03:10):
I'm totally one hundred percent plus. I mean, there's no
sense to it, and they can have behind their money
as long as they want but fuster earlier just.
Speaker 2 (01:03:19):
To prevail hope.
Speaker 5 (01:03:20):
Whatever it is, let freedom ring.
Speaker 4 (01:03:22):
But the President said about an hour or so ago,
telling Republicans to vote yes, release the files.
Speaker 5 (01:03:28):
There we go.
Speaker 4 (01:03:29):
Let's go to padd and Columbus, the home of the Buckeyes.
Padd and Columbus. Welcome to the Bill Cunningham Show. Pat,
how are you well?
Speaker 14 (01:03:36):
I want to point out a problem that you have
with your logic, because you are applying a twenty twenty
five attitude towards something that happened thirty years ago.
Speaker 2 (01:03:48):
And I can.
Speaker 15 (01:03:49):
Promise you a willing fifteen year old thirty years ago
was considered a lucky thing for a guy to find.
He was not concerned about whether she was eighteen. And
I'm talking thirty years ago, so it.
Speaker 16 (01:04:04):
You know you're using the word victim like you think
these poor girls were so victimized. I can promise you
as a victim myself, if I had been offered the
opportunity to give a massage to a naked man, I
certainly would have known that the sex was going to
(01:04:25):
be involved. And this gal had to be dumber than.
Speaker 10 (01:04:28):
A box of rocks.
Speaker 16 (01:04:29):
And these girls all knew what they were doing, and
the reason they haven't named any.
Speaker 7 (01:04:35):
Of their supposed rapists because.
Speaker 16 (01:04:38):
They were never raped, they were willingly having sex.
Speaker 4 (01:04:43):
The nineties, I did criminal defense work representing generally men
charged with sexual offenses against women. It was some point
in the nineteen nineties and when from fifteen years old
to sixteen years old, but in the mid nineteen nineties
in the state of Ohio. Of course this happened in
(01:05:06):
New York or Florida or on some island in the Caribbean,
but it was illegal in the nineteen nineties for a
man over the four years age different, So if you
were twenty one, you cannot have legally have sex with
a sixteen year old in the state of Ohio. Now
it doesn't apply to Florida and New York. We'll see
(01:05:26):
what that is. Let's continue go to Dale and Iowa,
the home of the Hawkeyes and the Cyclones. Dale and Iowa.
Welcome to the Bill Cunningham Show. And Dale, how are you.
Speaker 2 (01:05:38):
I'm doing fine.
Speaker 11 (01:05:39):
I hope when I retire from my law just all
kick back and MIA's relaxed and calm as using to be.
Speaker 4 (01:05:46):
I let listeners have their say, even though I may disagree.
Graves ipseil loquitor. The thing speaks for itself. It is
illegal for a man, at least in Ohio maybe Iowa
with more than a four year age difference for an
underage girl has been that way for a long time.
Speaker 11 (01:06:04):
You met, I think you're the Joe Friday of media
these days, getting the facts out there. The question about
Donald Trump not getting the information out I hope that
lady who was waiting to be sworn in realizes wasn't
that important that she get in there? To get in
on this boat. He's tried, the courts of stocked in.
Congress hasn't been there. The media hasn't put anything out there.
(01:06:27):
Nobody's going to believe any of them. I wonder where's
Gloria Allred, who's supposed to represent something in these folks.
Speaker 4 (01:06:34):
Well, why doesn't Gloria all Red make public the names
of the perpetrators? She can give them the Roe Conna.
He's got complete constitutional immunity on the floor of the
House of Representatives to say anything he wants to say.
Speaker 5 (01:06:48):
Why.
Speaker 4 (01:06:48):
I'll ask you this, Dale, why aren't the names out
there identified by the victims. If I'm a victim of
a sexual assault, I'm going to want to identify the
person that did it to me right.
Speaker 11 (01:07:00):
Well, it's a complete mystery, and I thought a lot
of this had been in the courts where that information
was out there, and I did want to say. The
reason I initially called was why is Maxwell moved to
where she is? I think it's proof to keep her
alive rather than have what happened to Epstein.
Speaker 5 (01:07:17):
Well, that's possible. I don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:07:20):
Being in federal prison, whether it's one of the lower
security or whatever, is bad. I wouldn't want to spend
the next fifteen years in a women's prison until I'm
like eighty years old, which is what she's facing. And
if you've practiced Lowdale, if you're sixty years old and
you're on trial for your life, and you get a
deal put in front of you, you give us a
full factual statement of all the men who raped these girls,
(01:07:44):
and we will verify what you're saying is accurate. We
will cut your sentence in half for by one third
or two thirds. Most people would do it, correct.
Speaker 11 (01:07:54):
I would guess they would.
Speaker 2 (01:07:55):
But let she didn't do this.
Speaker 5 (01:07:57):
She didn't.
Speaker 10 (01:07:57):
Would you believe that person is going to do that?
Speaker 5 (01:08:02):
Trust?
Speaker 4 (01:08:02):
But I'd have to verify it. You know, you have
to verify it. And I wouldn't trust the damn thing
Juliane Maxwell.
Speaker 11 (01:08:10):
Whatever.
Speaker 4 (01:08:11):
If she told me the sun rose in the East,
I'd have to get up and some break to make
sure it does. But she's allfered the deal, and she
didn't take the deal because she says, I can't give
any names because there aren't anymore. You know, a couple
of them and that's it.
Speaker 5 (01:08:25):
And I don't believe her. I don't believe her.
Speaker 11 (01:08:29):
I would ask her and the other ladies to identify
the tattoos on these people.
Speaker 4 (01:08:33):
And there's ways of identifying. You say you had guessed
sex with Bill Richardson, who's the ambassador from New Mexico.
He's now dead. Well, uh, where did it happen? How
did it happen? Give me distinguishing traits of his body,
who was present when it occur? There's ways of you know,
the East rape investigators know exactly what they're doing. And
(01:08:54):
I'm not saying every case, but if I'm a victim
of a crime, I want to identify the perpetrator and
these girls to know them.
Speaker 5 (01:09:01):
Let's continue.
Speaker 4 (01:09:03):
Go to I said Gale, And let's go to Mike
and Wisconsin. It's been there for a couple hours. Mike
and Wisconsin. Welcome to the Bill Cunningham Show. Mike, how are
you hey?
Speaker 17 (01:09:13):
Billy from Wisconsin, And like you said to one of
the previous callers, who our Brewers often beat the Reds
as well, So no.
Speaker 4 (01:09:22):
Question, no question. But the Reds in Milwaukee two of
the last three games. They beat Milwaukee twice up there
to get into the plays.
Speaker 2 (01:09:31):
I was in both games, Billy, Hey.
Speaker 17 (01:09:34):
Three bullet points for you to comment on as an attorney.
Number One, under the first Trump administration, both Epstein and
Maxwell were indicted. Now, any president who wanted to hide
something would not tell his doj to start an indictment
because it leads to discovery and you wouldn't want something
that you were trying to hide to be discovered. Number Two,
(01:09:58):
if you're right and there were one thousand girls involved
in this, and I pity them, we have to really
empathize with you. There's always the chance that one or
two of them could, you know, be a blasy for
it and make up some story about the president, and
that may be what these TDS people are hoping for.
And then third bullet point, Billy. You know, I've testified
(01:10:19):
before at grand jury. I've given testimony under seal that
the judge promised me would never be revealed. And I'm
afraid that if Congress forces the Court's hand to unseal
documents these girls, these now women have a right to privacy.
If they don't want their names to be revealed, it
shouldn't be revealed. And and I'm afraid that future witnesses
(01:10:43):
like me may not be as free to give testimony
if they're not confident that their testimony will never be unsealed.
I'd like your opinion on those.
Speaker 4 (01:10:54):
I would think the bulk of these women, most of
them have been identified because they've gone on CNN, RAMUSNBC, ABC, NBC.
They're out there with their face and their name, and
they're saying these things happen to them without specificity of
the perpetrator. Now, if it's grand jury testimony, you have
an expectation of privacy. What you say before grand jury
(01:11:15):
is kept there except during a trial. The grand jury
transcript that we be released to impeach a witness, but
that doesn't apply in this case. But I don't know
if it's a thousand girls, one said tonight there was
a thousand girls, well who are they and what do
they alleged happen? And I'm sure a great majority of
them don't want their name published. They don't want to
go through it again. But those who put their names
(01:11:37):
out there, and our national media tours and our plaintiffs
and class action lawsuits have waived their right to privacy
because of their voluntary behavior, those are the ones that
should be asked. Tonight by Hallie Jackson, NBC Nightly News,
give me the names of the men who raped you?
Speaker 5 (01:11:55):
And that was not asked.
Speaker 4 (01:11:57):
And maybe there's an agreement with the NBC who's not
the ask him that question, which I guess I would get.
But if your name is out there already, you waived
your rights under privacy laws, and you want to put
what happened out there is reality, somebody should ask them
who raped you? And most victims of a rape want
(01:12:17):
to identify the perpetrator, either publicly or privately. And so
let's get the names out there. Now that Trump has
set house, Republicans should support the release of the Epstein
FILESY put that out there about an hour and a
half ago. Let's see what happens this is going to
dominate the news all the way through this week.
Speaker 2 (01:12:34):
Do you agree, absolutely, Billie.
Speaker 17 (01:12:38):
It will dominate the news and it is a distraction
from the achievements of the Trump administration.
Speaker 4 (01:12:43):
The media bingo right there because NBC News has said
tonight that none of the files released so far implicate
Donald Trump in anything improper or illegal. That's from NBC News.
Let's continue coming up later after midnight. Jeff cru will
be here from New Orleans and Losso later on. As
Katie Talento about obamacaarn Wyatt failed. This is driving me nuts.
(01:13:06):
Got to get on another topic until next Sunday Night.
Bill Cunningham with you Every Sunday Night by Billy Cunningham.
President said tonight, we have nothing to hide. This is
a democratic hoax. Quote House Republicans should vote to release
(01:13:28):
the Epstein files because we have nothing to hide. It's
time to move on from this democratic hoax perpetrated by
radical left lunatics in order to deflect from the great
success of the Republican Party, including our recent victory over
the Democratic shutdown. So we'll see what happens this week.
I would think this will be a topic gay throughout
(01:13:49):
most of the week. And also next Sunday night, we'll
see what happens and the Trump reversal comes. As expectations
of a mass GOP defection, the House grew out of
a vote this week, and there was a sense that
when Senator John Kennedy Louisiana stepped forward this morning and
said he's going to vote to release it, there was
(01:14:11):
no support not to do it. So all I can
say is is of this point, According to NBC News,
none of the Epstein files at this point implicate the
president whatsoever. And if Jeffrey Epstein would implicate implicate the president,
which he didn't do, I wouldn't believe it anyway. If
Julane Maxwell implicates the president, I wouldn't believe her anyway.
Speaker 5 (01:14:34):
Would you so a trust but verify?
Speaker 4 (01:14:37):
But it's all going to be out there, we think soon,
and it will not play kate those suffering from Trump
to derangement syndrome simply and make them angry. If if
the artful dodger gets at the road runner gets away again,
it's going to make angry the media because everything about
Trump is a bombshell, even the bombshell that Trump, according
(01:14:58):
to the Epstein files, is innocent that's still a bombshell.
Let's continue with more coming up. I'm going to put
a call in Jeffrey crue Air. He's got a great
column at town hall dot com about about tariffs and
so much more. Also later on, I want to get
on a different topic until we learn more about this
later in the week. Put a call in to Katie Talento.
Katie Talento, she was part of the Trump organization in
(01:15:22):
the in the White House and his first term fashioning
opposition to Obamacare, which has failed. Let's continue, Bill cunning
Immigrant American with you every Sunday.
Speaker 12 (01:15:32):
Not.
Speaker 1 (01:15:58):
Willie Rock You by Choice Hotels Acono Lodging Roadway in
Hotels are serving up double points for every qualifying stay
book at.
Speaker 2 (01:16:10):
Choice Hotels dot com.
Speaker 3 (01:16:12):
Now here's the man who's been recognized his radio's best,
the recipient of not one, but two prestigious Marconi Awards
for he is broadcast exodence, the one and only Bill
cunning In.
Speaker 5 (01:16:24):
Bill Cunningham, the Great American.
Speaker 4 (01:16:26):
Of course, every now and then I check in the
New Orleans, the Crescent City. But Jeff crue Air has
headquartered New Orleans, and he's an author radio talk show
host and his great columns at townhall dot com and elsewhere.
One of the columns is the genius of Trump's tariffs
and Jeff crue Air. Welcome again to the Bill Cunningham Show,
and I'll report to you what happened in Cincinnati the
(01:16:47):
election last week or so a few days ago. I
want to hear about New Orleans. But we have a
mayor that's failed miserably. We have riots happening all over
the city when we have snow. You know much about
the New Orleans. The plows don't work, there's no pickup
ice and snow.
Speaker 5 (01:17:04):
The assault's not going on the streets. It's terrible.
Speaker 4 (01:17:06):
We have numerous council members in the past that have
been indicted and sent to federal prison. We have a
police chief that's been fired now for dubious reasons. He's
also fired the chief of the fire department and the
assistant chief.
Speaker 5 (01:17:18):
With complete chaos.
Speaker 4 (01:17:19):
So instead of the mayor f to a peer of
all getting eighty two percent of the vote, which he
got four years ago with all these scandals going on,
he got seventy eight percent of the vote. So the
voter has held him accountable from eighty two to seventy
eight percent and the half brother of jad Advance didn't
get a sniff.
Speaker 5 (01:17:34):
What happened in New Orleans.
Speaker 12 (01:17:38):
Well, our mayor's term limited LaToya the Destroyer, so she
cannot run again. She is going to be facing charges.
You know, she's indicted, so we'll see. It was all
because of a boyfriend, bodyguard that you know, has caused
her all kinds of trouble. And she tried to appeal
(01:17:59):
to the judge to allow her to be with the
bodyguard and because he's under indictment too, and they said no,
they could only be together in supervised setting. What so,
so I got.
Speaker 5 (01:18:11):
The mayor and the boys.
Speaker 4 (01:18:11):
I guess these are adults, right, they're like fifty year olds.
They got to be supervised.
Speaker 12 (01:18:17):
Yeah, they got to be supervised. And I think it's
probably a good thing for them to be supervised because
he does what their could do. But yeah, so she
is going to be dealing with that. She's left the city.
In match, we got one hundred and sixty million dollar deficit.
They budgeted fifty seven thousand for overtime that actually wound
up costing about sixty million dollars in overtime because we
(01:18:38):
had a we had a terrorist attack, We had the
Super Bowl, we had the Sugar Bowl, we had Martie Gras,
and they budgeted fifty seven thousand for police overtime, and
they were about sixty million dollars off on that, and
then all the other shenanigans involving there. There are ridiculous
budgeting and they're ridiculous spending. So now tomorrow Bill the
(01:19:02):
big day. They're meeting with state officials to see if
they can get bailed out by the State of Louisiana.
Will the state require a fiscal administrator, which is someone
to babysit them and make sure the money is spent
in the right way, So basically the state would be
running the city. The city's balking at that. They want
(01:19:23):
to do some kind of compromise where they have an
oversight but not an administrator. Will the state give the money.
We'll find out tomorrow. So bottom line is New Orleans
has got a prison it is run by the federal
government under a federal consent decree. We've got a police
apartment that's run by the federal government under a federal
consent decree. And we could have a city hall pretty
(01:19:45):
much run by the State of Louisiana. So really, the
city of New Orleans at some point man will be
really running nothing.
Speaker 4 (01:19:52):
Well, the city of Cincinnati can't figure it out because
are the voters. I imagine the voters New Orleans can't
figure it out. And Landry, I guess the governor Louisiana
is all angry about LSU. Maybe the guy who negotiated
the contract for Brian Kelly could get Maybe that guy
could get involved in running the city New Orleans. They
appeared to be equally competent.
Speaker 12 (01:20:12):
Right, the same guy that hired jimbo Fisher, and I
guess they had to pay him seventy three million. Scott
Woodward wound up hiring Brian Kelly, and they got to
know paying fifty four million. They're at illegal to speed
right now as to whether he was fired for calls
or not, whether they're going to owe him the full
fifty four million. So that's going to be going on
(01:20:32):
for a while.
Speaker 11 (01:20:33):
We don't have it.
Speaker 12 (01:20:33):
We have an interim coach, we just got a new
LSU president. Looks like the governor wants to run and everything,
so I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:20:41):
We got opportunities everywhere.
Speaker 4 (01:20:45):
So New Orleans they budgeted fifty seven thousand dollars for overtime.
LaToya the destroyer with a little bit off. Instead of
fifty seven thousand, it was sixty million. They're upside down,
hundreds of millions of dollars. She's indicted for lying, and
she's having sex with the boyfriend who's also the bodyguard,
and now they have a chaperone. One of those two
get together to do what keep your hands out of
(01:21:06):
her pants?
Speaker 5 (01:21:07):
What the hell's going on? And now you can't make
this up? And so I guess Louisiana's got to bail
out New Orleans. It's amazing to me.
Speaker 4 (01:21:18):
Cincinnati has run like New Orleans, but when you face
the voters, where's the accountability?
Speaker 11 (01:21:25):
Right?
Speaker 12 (01:21:26):
Well, here in New Orleans, we just had elections, so
LaToya that destroyed couldn't run again. But the councilwoman at large,
Helena Moreno, who's really been overseeing this whole thing as
council president, she just got elected mayor.
Speaker 13 (01:21:39):
So she said she's.
Speaker 12 (01:21:40):
Going to bring in changes, But she's been there the
whole time sort of watching everything and doing nothing. So
how are they going to bring in changes? When they
hired someone from the city council to be the new mayor?
And they just re elected the other councilmen at large,
and they put some new politicians into some other council positions.
So they've brought in nobody knew, nobody reform oriented. No
(01:22:03):
Republicans have a prayer. The Republican got like two percent
of the vote and the mayor's race and eight percent
of the vote in the city council race.
Speaker 4 (01:22:14):
Jadie Vance's half brother here got like twenty one percent,
and he thought that was good. At least you don't
have a communist running New Orleans like Mamdani them. At
least you don't have communists.
Speaker 12 (01:22:23):
You have incompetence, right, we just have a just a
traditional garden variety super left progressive democrat, not a communist.
He's a former broadcaster. See they come from television. People
trust him on TV and then they run for political office.
Speaker 4 (01:22:40):
Before we talk about the teriffs, your column is great
of a couple few days ago.
Speaker 5 (01:22:44):
I want to get your take to it.
Speaker 4 (01:22:45):
The Democrats and the Republicans in Washington and the Senate,
the Democrats have voted seventeen times to shut down the government.
They Republicans have voted seventeen times to keep it open.
And now it's back open, ready to go. And now
the Democrats are saying Trump shut down the government, when
Trump is the one opening the government and the Democrats
(01:23:05):
are the ones shutting down the government. Now we're being
told by the media that Trump shut down the government
and the Democrats had nothing to do with it. Uh,
my head is swimming. For those who aren't paying attention,
describe what's happening in Washington.
Speaker 2 (01:23:20):
I think he described it well.
Speaker 12 (01:23:21):
I mean, the Democrats are cracking up because eight Democrats
decided to buck Chuck Schumer and go along with the
Republicans to open up the government. The far left is
furious it does eight Senate Democrats, the House Democrats are furious,
the activists are furious. But the government will reopen. I
(01:23:42):
think the House is going to be coming back, and
you know, they'll finally get around to you are reopening.
Speaker 2 (01:23:48):
The government, and they're gonna they're.
Speaker 12 (01:23:50):
Promising a vote on Obamacare subsidies. And remember when they
sold us Obamacare, they said it was going to be affordable. Yeah,
it didn't turn out to be affordable bill, So that
was another lie that they sold us. So here we are. Yeah,
we're getting back to the government. So that's for the holidays.
We're not going to have a government shutdown and people
(01:24:11):
can get back to their snap benefits and you know
the air traffic controllers and all the other stuff that
the government does.
Speaker 4 (01:24:19):
It's almost like New Orleans is running Washington, d C.
I'm and now, according to one IPSOS poll, seventy percent
of the American people believe you don't get the truth
from the mainstream media. Seventy percent say the media has
a political ideology rather than factual facts being reported. I
see that constantly, and I'm thinking that's surprising. The other
(01:24:41):
thirty percent, what have you been thinking? And I played
before the cuts of Barack Hussein Obama saying about Obamacare
will reduce waste, fraud, and abuse number one. Two, it
will take four trillion dollars off the deficit. Number three,
it'll slow the growth of premiums. In fact, you're going
to save twenty five one hundred dollars off premiums the
(01:25:02):
first five or six years.
Speaker 5 (01:25:03):
And none of these things happened.
Speaker 4 (01:25:05):
Automatic triggers in the cuts to the federal budget in
order to make up the shortfall. There's no relationship between
Obamacare promises and Obamacare reality and because it is way
upside down. The Democrats say, we have to fund more.
We got to send more money to a failed system
to prop it up when we know it failed. Only
(01:25:25):
in the Democratic Party can you fund a failure and
have many people shake their head saying, yeah, we have
to fund more failure.
Speaker 5 (01:25:32):
Can you smell what I'm cooking?
Speaker 12 (01:25:34):
Oh, you're exactly right. And remember they didn't even know
what they were voting on, because Nancy Pelosi said, we
have to vote on it first before we understand what's
in it. So I mean they didn't even know what
they were voting on. I interviewed on my program Bill
the one man in Congress, his name is Joseph gal
from New Orleans, who was a Republican elected from New Orleans.
He was a post Katrina miracle. We only served one term,
(01:25:58):
but he was a very diligent guy.
Speaker 11 (01:26:00):
He read the.
Speaker 12 (01:26:01):
Twenty seven hundred and eighteen pages of the Obamacare bill,
the only member of Congress that knew it backwards and forwards,
and nobody else really knew what they were voting on.
Of course, they passed it, and then we got the
nonsense that we've had. Republicans have had chances to get
rid of it ever since they John McCain failed us.
Remember he went to the well of the Senate.
Speaker 2 (01:26:19):
And put his thumb down and that was it.
Speaker 5 (01:26:23):
And now we're stuck because it's failed. We have to
fund it.
Speaker 12 (01:26:28):
We have to fund it. And it is a disaster.
It is everything but what they promised, which was affordable.
And now they're ranning and raving about everything that they've
forced upon us. And you know, Republicans really should have
come up with alternatives and gotten rid of this thing
a long time ago and had, you know, a much
(01:26:49):
better program than this, because this is just a disaster
and it's just going to continue to be a disaster.
We're just putting a band aid on gaping wounds here
with Obamacare. Government can't do anything right. They're going to
find that out in New York City when they run
the grocery stores Dale. It's not going to be pretty.
Speaker 4 (01:27:05):
January thirtieth is coming. And I watched this morning in
one of the talk shows that King Jeffreys talked about
we're going to replay the same thing January thirtieth. They
only hit the government open until January thirtieth, and he said,
at that point, we're going to do it again. So
the Democrats are going to fire, layoff air traffic controllers,
the military not say out it's not benefits again in
(01:27:26):
the dead winner of January, because after all, it seems
to be working for them, and which is you know,
something fails, let's fund it. Let's talk about your column
on tariffs. Only have a couple of minutes remaining. You
make the point that tariff revenue for the US dramatically
rose to two hundred and fifteen billion dollars compared to
(01:27:47):
seventy seven billion the previous year. In fact, tariffs are working.
It did not cause massive inflation, it didn't cause layoffs.
The media is rooting for failure. It didn't happen.
Speaker 12 (01:27:57):
Why well, because all these economists are biased, and all
of them said that it was going to be a disaster,
and it's not because you know, they were trying to
scare the American people. And it turns out that this
has helped us forward peace deals, brought in a lot
more revenue. It was going to eventually, of course help
American manufacturing, American jobs. Again, that's the whole reason the
(01:28:20):
President wanted to do this, because we were taken advantage
of by all these countries all over the world. We
didn't have access to their markets. They had access to
our markets. Our goods were being charged tremendous tariffs. We
were letting these goods in here with very minimal tariffs.
So yeah, we've gone from like seventy seven billion to
over twodred and fifteen billion. Next year Scott Bessant is
(01:28:42):
projecting it'll be five hundred billion.
Speaker 11 (01:28:45):
And then the.
Speaker 12 (01:28:45):
President says, all right, let's get some tax rebates, some
tariff f rebates to the American people two thousand dollars,
and you know, let's pay down the national debt, which is,
by the way, bill increasing every two months by a trillion.
So we're now at thirty eight point one trillion dollar
national debt. We have an idea to help pay it down.
Speaker 5 (01:29:07):
I'm all in favor of it.
Speaker 4 (01:29:08):
You also talk about the inflation rate, which is three
point zero two percent to the nine percent inflation of
the Disasters administration. And I had on Victor Davis Hanson
a few weeks ago. Unemployment is down to four percent.
We're getting tariff income to walk down the deficit. We
have inflation at three percent instead of nine percent. We
(01:29:32):
have the Southern border is shut down. We have military
enlistments or way up. People want to join the military,
they want to join ICE, they want to enforce the
law right. In fact, all the objective measurements of what
is everything that should be up is up. Everything that
should be down is down. However, the media reports lies
and fabrications because the truth is dangerous to the Democrats.
(01:29:55):
And so if you watch the media, you think these
are the worst at times. Economically they're the best at times.
But people like my producer Tony Bender, doesn't see it,
doesn't feel it, because he's told all this garbage, you know,
garbage in, garbage out.
Speaker 5 (01:30:11):
The garbage is put in.
Speaker 4 (01:30:13):
The in the mainstream of news, and so you cough
back out what you think to be the reality. I
paid two I paid two dollars and fifty cents for
a gallon of gas yesterday, two dollars and fifty cents.
That goes into inflation. So how do we overcome the
mediaized to tell the truth? What is the real status
of the American economy? Jeff crue Air, what is it?
Speaker 12 (01:30:34):
I think he hit the nail on the head. It's
really good. I mean, we pay to forty eight man
here I just got a gas this morning. I mean,
the prices are great, and that's a tax cut for
the American people when the price of gas is so low.
And yeah, we're drilling again, so that's another thing that's
good for the economy. You know, we've unleashed American energy
once again. You know, the border is secure, so we
(01:30:57):
don't have millions of illegals coming here. We're trying to
deport the krims, which of course the left doesn't want
us to do, so they want to protect the criminals
that are here. So all those measures you're right on target.
I mean, we've got the trade deficit down. You know,
we're we're doing the right thing as far as uh,
you know, inflation. Interest rates are finally starting to come down.
The one problem has been this guy's er own poll hasn't.
Speaker 13 (01:31:19):
Reduced interest rates like you should.
Speaker 12 (01:31:20):
So the interest rate level now is still double what
it was, more than double what it was when Donald Trump.
Speaker 13 (01:31:26):
Left office the first time.
Speaker 12 (01:31:28):
So that's what's I think causing the problem with young
kids being able to buy homes. I mean can't get
a mortgage. I mean it costs too much. So that's
why the President's talking about fifty year mortgages and you know,
pounding on the FED to reduce the you know, the
interest rates.
Speaker 13 (01:31:44):
So there's some.
Speaker 12 (01:31:45):
Things that we need to work on. But compared to
where Biden left it, I mean, we've made incredible and
by the way we've solved, I mean, the President's brought
peace to all these different places around the world. We've
got peace steals that have happened. So I mean, it
is immeasurably better than it was in January of this year, and.
Speaker 13 (01:32:04):
It's just been less than a year.
Speaker 12 (01:32:06):
So it's outstanding. He should have an eighty percent approval rating.
I look the other day, Bill, it's incredible. It's only
forty five percent, and it's it's terrible to think that
he's not getting the credit that he deserves for what
he's done.
Speaker 4 (01:32:21):
Chunk and the American people get all their information from
the mainstream media, garbage in, garbage out.
Speaker 5 (01:32:26):
Are you ready for the big question?
Speaker 11 (01:32:28):
I'm ready.
Speaker 5 (01:32:30):
We have a communist in New.
Speaker 4 (01:32:31):
York City, LaToya the destroyers, I guess going to federal
persons sometime soon. She has a chaperone, when she has
her bodyguard. Now almost Cincinnati just elected a corrupt, ugly
mayor with seventy eight percent of the vote instead of
eighty two percent Brandon Johnson and Chicago is talking about
having Chicago police have an armed insurrection against ice. We
(01:32:53):
have Karen Bass complete incompetent in Los Angeles. San Francisco
looks like Bangladesh. Thank Godnancy Pelosi. We got to get
Nancy Pelosi to run the Department of the Treasury. She
knows more about stocks and Warren Buffett. For God's sakes,
can we survive if almost every major American city is
in collapse?
Speaker 12 (01:33:14):
Well, I mean that's the situation and it has been
for a while. And what I think is going to
have to happen is that the people in these cities
that keep voting in these dangerous idiots are just going
to have to eventually get with the program and say, hey,
you know, we can't keep electing these people and expect
different results. And eventually, I guess the pain is going
to be so much that they're going to start looking
(01:33:34):
at alternatives and not voting these Democrats over and over.
But thankfully people have started fleeing those areas. Yes, so
they're going you know, the realtor of the Year is
Zorn Modonmi in Florida. They just named him twenty twenty
six Realtor of the Year. Damn Florida.
Speaker 4 (01:33:50):
I'm he's doing a lot for the pricing in Florida. Well,
we got Jeff Career. I could spend a all day
with you. But the good luck wi LaToya the Destroyer,
We got Apte pure of all you have Latoria destroyers.
Chicago's got Brandon Johnson, Kim Bass, Mom, Donnie, Jeff Crueer,
thanks for coming on.
Speaker 5 (01:34:06):
You're a great American.
Speaker 2 (01:34:07):
Thank you, Thank you, Bill, Bill.
Speaker 4 (01:34:08):
Cunningham, the great American. Live with you every Sunday night,
Billy cunning Him, the great American. Jeff crue Aer makes
a whole bunch of sense to me about tariffs, et cetera.
And I know next Sunday night we're gonna have to
deal again with Jeffrey Epstein because of what the Trump
shud did about an hour and a half ago, telling
the Republicans to support the release of Epstein files. Something
(01:34:30):
he opposed, something he went after Thomas Massey for voting
yes and Marjorie Taylor Green for voting yes. Now Trump's
done a three sixty or one eighty, and now is
telling Republicans please vote to release the files, which means
in the Senate, John Thunell have that up in the
next week or two, release the files. And the Trump's
(01:34:50):
just going to sign a law releasing the files. Will
that play hate those who have Trump derangement syndrome?
Speaker 5 (01:34:57):
I don't think so.
Speaker 4 (01:34:57):
They'll come on with something else plus continue with Morris,
I said, coming up next as Katie Talento, she worked
in the first Trumpet administration. On the evils of Obamacare
and more. Bill Cunningham with you every Sunday, Bill Cunningham,
(01:35:20):
the Great American. Of course, the healthcare crisis in America
has caused the shutdown of the government now open and
watching one of the morning talk shows, Keem Jeffers is
saying they have another bite at the apple in about
ten weeks. January thirtieth is not that far away, and
he says there might be another government shutdown happening, which
is utterly ridiculous. Putting money into a failed system, a
(01:35:44):
failed government program, doubling down on stupid is often what
Democrats and what many in Washington do. Some are fighting
against it. Katie Talento is the executive director of Alliance
of Healthcare sharing. And first of all, Katie Talento, tell
us you give me generally in the American people the
status of health care in America today. Volumes have been
(01:36:05):
written on that topic. But about out on ninety three
percent of us get either our health insurance from Medicare,
Medicaid from private plans through employers or veterans or whatever.
It might be about seven percent through the Obamacare exchanges,
which have failed miserably. So since you're in the industry,
what is happening to us healthcare system in America in
general and the response to it by.
Speaker 18 (01:36:26):
Government, Well, it's not a good situation, Bill, Thanks for
having me. Yeah, I think the affordability crisis is hitting everybody,
and so you know, premiums are up double digits this
year for everyone. Even federal employee has got a twelve
percent rate hike, so you know, they get no love
for having been put out of work for you know,
(01:36:47):
twenty seven weeks, but they have to now pay more
for their insurance too, so at least they're suffering with
the rest of us. I do think that this is
going to become a campaign issue unfortunately, and Republics are
usually in trouble when healthcare becomes a campaign issue. You know,
I was a veteran of the White House when we
were doing repeal and replaced back in the day, and
(01:37:08):
I can tell you it's going to take longer than
you know, five weeks for us to negotiate some sort
of master plan here. So I think that if the
Democrats want to have another shutdown, they will do that
at their political peril. But you know, that may not
be the best thing for the American people at this point.
Speaker 5 (01:37:24):
What happened.
Speaker 4 (01:37:25):
I've done many topics the last few days weeks on
the failure of Obamacare, in which is government subsidizing and
billions of dollars that might be forty to fifty billion
a year.
Speaker 5 (01:37:35):
Maybe you have the number.
Speaker 4 (01:37:36):
That Washington sends directly to insurance companies under a promise
to hold down premiums and to the to the seven
twenty three million people on Obamacare. Why did Obamacare fail?
Speaker 18 (01:37:52):
So the promise to hold down premiums has not really
been tested. Obviously, the premiums have skyrocketed. They've more than
tripled since.
Speaker 19 (01:37:59):
Twenty when the bill was first enacted.
Speaker 18 (01:38:02):
However, affordability is sort of addressed by Obamacare because they
just subsidize your overpriced premiums. And so the vast majority
of people who are buying their plans on the Obamacare
exchanges are getting premium subsidies, so their premiums are either
free or they are largely subsidized. And that is truly
the only way that you can keep anyone who is
(01:38:23):
younger or healthier, or who is not sort of already sick,
from fleeing this market where it's so unaffordable that they
don't see the value of it. But they need to
have all these younger healthy people in the insurance pool,
or the insurers do, or else it'll go into what
we call in the insurance business the death spiral, where
it's just sicker and older and sicker and older people
(01:38:46):
every year, and then the premiums go up, and then
a few are younger healthy people leave because they can't
afford it anymore, and then it's older and sicker, and
so this get you get into the spiral, and that's
that's the.
Speaker 19 (01:38:56):
Death of an insurance product. So they have to force
people to stay in the pool, and that's why it's failing.
Speaker 18 (01:39:04):
It was never a good value for young healthy people
when you're requiring these policies to cover everything from abortion
and trans surgeries to maternity writers for men, and you know,
preventive cap smears for men. You know, like this, this
is too much. It's too much insurance coverage for what
most people need, and it's not enough insurance coverage for
(01:39:26):
the people who do need it because the deductibles.
Speaker 19 (01:39:28):
Are so high they can't even afford to use their
plan when they when they do need it. So it's
an absolute failure.
Speaker 18 (01:39:34):
I do think that there are promising alternatives out there,
like health care sharing ministries, like health savings accounts, like
direct primary Care, which is sort of a Netflix subscription
for unlimited primary care, and people are fleeing to these
better alternatives that feel more human and feel more rational.
Speaker 19 (01:39:52):
Meeting their needs.
Speaker 4 (01:39:53):
Funding of failure is what Washington does, which is why
Democrats want Obamacare to be funded. I spoke to twenty
eight year old who called in a couple a week
or two ago, and this guy says, look, I was
in Obamacare for like two years. I got out because
I never I never used it, I never went to
the er, I never I had a primary care physician,
but I didn't feel a need to go. It was
(01:40:14):
costing me seven hundred dollars a month, and I'm thinking,
why am.
Speaker 5 (01:40:17):
I doing it?
Speaker 4 (01:40:17):
I got rid of it. Plus, he said to me, Look,
isn't it true? He called me Uncle Bill. Isn't it true,
Uncle Bill, that if I have something bad happens to me,
I can go to the er anyway and get care
at the er, and if I can't pay for it,
I can't pay for it. So why have insurance if
I get the product anyway for nothing? How do you
respond to him?
Speaker 19 (01:40:37):
He's exactly right, He's making completely rational choices.
Speaker 18 (01:40:41):
You can go to the er and they are required
to treat you regardless of your coverage. Now, you might
end up with a really horrific build being said to you,
you might end up in collections over it, but at
least you will be treated in that moment if you're
having a life threatening issue. I totally sympathize with your
caller because he's the exact reason why Obama Care.
Speaker 19 (01:41:00):
Is failing young healthy people.
Speaker 18 (01:41:02):
They just see no value in this product, so why
would they stay? And so you're left with only healthy, unhealthy,
expensive people, driving up premiums so that it happens even
worse next year that's why this whole project has failed,
and that's why we've got to seek alternatives.
Speaker 19 (01:41:19):
I was so encouraged by President.
Speaker 18 (01:41:22):
Trump tweeting, or rather truthing out in the past couple
of weeks about let's just stop putting money in insurers pocket.
Speaker 19 (01:41:30):
And let's actually put it in health saving.
Speaker 18 (01:41:32):
Accounts for people so they can go buy what they want.
Speaker 4 (01:41:35):
Great idea, but a King Jeffries and the Democrats don't
want any part of that because it puts the person
in charge, not big time health insurers who pay them
huge amounts of money and campaign. I think the average
America done understand that about how much money every year
goes from the US Treasury to big time health insurers
in order to knock down the premiums of individuals who
(01:41:58):
may not use the product at all. How much money
is the taxpayer funding healthcare insurance companies?
Speaker 5 (01:42:04):
How much money we're talking about about.
Speaker 19 (01:42:07):
It's about a trillion dollars. I promised with it with
a trillion.
Speaker 18 (01:42:12):
With a team of John Tufton's researchers a few years ago,
we estimated that almost half forty seven percent. But the
entire United States budget goes towards some form of health care.
Speaker 4 (01:42:25):
Well, if you're United Healthcare, are you in the business
having taken all this money from the government under Obamacare.
Are you in the business and making sure that you're insured,
have great healthcare at low cost, or are you in
the business of making money?
Speaker 19 (01:42:42):
Well, that's exactly right. You know, these giant.
Speaker 18 (01:42:44):
Companies we call them the Bukah's Blue Cross United Signa
at ninety man a Buka and these these giant companies,
nobody had ever heard of some of them, you know,
years ago, and now they're on the Fortune fifty list.
Their stockholders are loving it, living it up, and their
CEOs are living off.
Speaker 19 (01:43:03):
They're billionaires.
Speaker 18 (01:43:05):
And you know, meanwhile, United Healthcare is denying a third
of every claim that comes to them. And most people
think of their insurer like.
Speaker 19 (01:43:12):
The cable company. They hate them.
Speaker 18 (01:43:13):
And so this is a product that nobody really wants
to pay for because they don't.
Speaker 19 (01:43:17):
See the value in it.
Speaker 18 (01:43:19):
And when they really need it, when they really need it,
it's an absolute bureaucratic night there to.
Speaker 4 (01:43:25):
Use, aren't the insurance companies because they're a for profit
business in the business of denying claims and having high deductibilities.
And that's true because I listened to a keem Jeffries.
If Republicans don't agree to this want you want people
to be sick and die in hospitals, You don't want
people to get medical care. In reality, the Democrats get
millions of dollars in campaign donations from insurance companies, and
(01:43:49):
aren't they in the business of making money.
Speaker 5 (01:43:52):
And not in the business of providing healthcare?
Speaker 18 (01:43:55):
Well, the secret of the dirty little secret of healthcare
is that the insurer are interested in high prices from hospitals,
and hospitals are interested in lots of sick people. So
when you get paid when people are sick and high
price stuff is done to them, you're going to get
more sickness and higher price stuff.
Speaker 19 (01:44:13):
And that's what we're seeing over and over again.
Speaker 4 (01:44:15):
You also say in this column you believe that the
recent US government shutdown that ended after forty three days
result of from protecting lucrative political donations from big healthcare
insurance and the media never asked a King Jeffries or
Democrats the question, how come we're funding the BUKA, the
(01:44:36):
large Blue Cross, Blue Shield and United Healthcare and signa
we're funding them and they're in the business of screwing
the policy holders.
Speaker 5 (01:44:44):
Why isn't that brought up by the media.
Speaker 18 (01:44:47):
Well, you know, to be fair to these politicians. And
let me tell you, the healthcare swamp funds all parties
and every single one of them. You know, the farm
industry alone has four or five lobbyists for every.
Speaker 19 (01:44:58):
Member of Congress. So nobody is innocent here in DC.
Speaker 18 (01:45:02):
But I will tell you that, you know these people,
they are in the business of making money and profiting
off of our sickness.
Speaker 19 (01:45:09):
But the American people are.
Speaker 18 (01:45:11):
Also absolutely committed to having insurance at any cost.
Speaker 19 (01:45:16):
I mean, we have seen that.
Speaker 18 (01:45:19):
It's unfortunately, if you try to take i mean the
battle scars from the repeal and replaced effort in twenty seventeen,
if you try to take a single dollar away from
insurance subsidies for even a small percentage of of the
American people, you will lose the next election. So I
think the Republicans take this issue on at their peril.
(01:45:40):
The Democrats take this issue on at their peril. It's
very perils and it's going to make everybody a little
bit scared.
Speaker 19 (01:45:44):
So it'll be very interesting to see what happens over the.
Speaker 10 (01:45:46):
Next few weeks.
Speaker 4 (01:45:47):
You seem to say almost Katie Talento of the Alliance
for a Health Care Sharing it's almost a soluble problem
that Democrats are incentivized to keep the issue front and center.
By the way, Obamacare little or nothing to do with
the shutdown, because the shutdown was shutting down the whole government.
So the Democrats said, look, we're not going to pay
the soldiers, We're going to make TSC agents sleep in
(01:46:09):
their cars, We're going to shut down Snap, We're going
to shut down the entire government on this unrelated issue
of giving money to insurance companies out of the public treasury.
And I think the American people bought it because politically,
most of the polls now indicate this weekend that Republicans
are blamed for the shutdown and not Democrats. So when
(01:46:29):
Republicans voted to open the government and Democrats voted to
close the government, the American people believe that the Republicans
closed the government and the Democrats wanted to open the government,
when in reality, the Republicans wanted to open the government
and the Democrats wanted to close the government. You know
what I'm saying. Democratically, the Democratic Party won.
Speaker 14 (01:46:49):
No.
Speaker 2 (01:46:50):
I mean, they're in.
Speaker 18 (01:46:50):
A civil war right now over. You know, they're eight
traders who actually.
Speaker 19 (01:46:55):
Opened the governments.
Speaker 18 (01:46:56):
But those eight traders, the Democrats who voted with the
Republicans to reopen.
Speaker 19 (01:47:00):
The government government, they're the ones in.
Speaker 18 (01:47:02):
The swing states, so they kind of know that this
is not actually a good plan to just shut down
not do their jobs for months on end. So I
think Democrats that actually are in any kind of political peril,
we're thanking these eight behind the back, behind the scenes
all right now.
Speaker 4 (01:47:19):
And lastly, for those of us who receive healthcare from
our employer, I work for a large company, and it
takes a degree in Chinese calculus to figure out all
the plans and the deductibilities, and do you want this rider?
Do you want that rider? Do you want prescriptive care?
Do you want not wanted? Do you want maternity care?
I don't need that very much. Do I need transgender care?
(01:47:40):
Which I don't think, God hope I never need that.
And so I leave with my wife to decide what
do we do. And according to polling, the majority of
employee or employee based plans are popular with employees, which
is about one hundred and fifty some million people. But
still the cost keeps going up. If you're on Medicare
Medicaid generally you pay little or nothing. Anyway, you don't
(01:48:01):
have a dog in the fight. So can you tell
me get out your crystal ball, Katie Talento? How does
this issue resolve itself without a complete collapse of our
medical system?
Speaker 5 (01:48:11):
How do we resolve it?
Speaker 19 (01:48:14):
Well, I don't know that we're going to resolve that. Again,
I'm very nervous.
Speaker 18 (01:48:18):
I'm very nervous that we're going to end up with
single payer at some point because it is not a
sustainable trajectory. And you're exactly right that those who are
bearing the largest cost of this are wage earners at
big employers who are actually paying for most healthcare in
this country. You're right half those country is insured on
(01:48:38):
a job. And those companies, you know, they have some
other core mission that's not running a health plan, but
they're now in the health insurance business and that business
is absolutely spiraling. And so it's a huge crisis for
every company. And so if we don't get this under control,
I fear very much it will be the business community
that pressures Congress to have a come flee government takeover
(01:49:01):
of healthcare.
Speaker 4 (01:49:01):
Lastly, explain single payer. I have a pretty good grasp
of what it is that everyone under medicare. Explain to
the average Americans what is single payer, how would it work,
and why is it a bad idea?
Speaker 18 (01:49:16):
Yeah, so, single payer is what every other country in
the world, literally every other country in the world, has
decided to do about healthcare, where the government actually pays
for healthcare, and they do it in different ways.
Speaker 19 (01:49:26):
In some countries like Israel.
Speaker 18 (01:49:28):
And Germany, they basically do it like an Obamacare on steroids,
where it's all filter through insurance companies which are just
agents of the state. But at least you pick an
insurance plan like Medicare Advantage for instance. But other countries
like the UK or like Canada, you know, they just.
Speaker 19 (01:49:45):
Have the government.
Speaker 18 (01:49:46):
You just walk into the government clinic and the government
hospital and there are no insurance companies. And the reason
why this is a problem, and I mean again like
there are trade offs, right for some services like primary care,
it's a much better experience and it's more sane in
these countries where you have easy and free and unlimited
access to primary care and preventive care. But what happens
(01:50:08):
in these situations is when it comes times that you
need specialty care, there is rationing and long lines, and
you don't get the best technology, and you don't get
the timely treatment, and cancer patients are waiting, and people
with you know who need knee replacements are waiting for years.
There are people who die on the wait list for
their knee replacement. So it's just it's not a good situation,
(01:50:30):
and America has chosen a different path. I hope that
we figure a way out of this. There are some
innovative and creative ideas out there, like health care sharing ministries,
like health savings accounts for everyone. I think that might
help as we As you know, President Trump actually implemented
when I was there, price Transparency initiative, forcing hospitals and
insures to post their secret prices publicly in an effort
(01:50:53):
to try to create a health care market. What we
have right now is either free nor market in healthcare.
So to the extent so we can force an actual
christ competition in health care, we might just be able
to pull this thing off, but it's going to take
a miracle from God.
Speaker 5 (01:51:08):
It will.
Speaker 4 (01:51:09):
Katie Talento, executive director of Alliance of health Care Sharing.
Speaker 5 (01:51:13):
You've laid it out and I fear.
Speaker 4 (01:51:15):
This issue is too easy to demagogue, which means sure
I had it chored within ten years of Medicare for
All system in which you will ration healthcare, and it's
gonna be similar to Canada. And most of my Canadian
friends get their medical services of any exceptional quality or
quantity from the United States. They don't stick in Canada
(01:51:36):
because to get a knee replacement or they have cancer
treatment is taking months. You'll die on the list before
it's replaced. And if someone needs a knee replacement in America,
you get it a week from Tuesday. Katie Talento, you're
a great American. Laid out the problems once again. Thank
you for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show. And Katie,
you're a great American. Thank you very much.
Speaker 19 (01:51:56):
Thank you, Bill, you too.
Speaker 5 (01:51:57):
God bless you. Let's continue with more. There you go.
Speaker 4 (01:52:00):
Bill Cunningham, the Great American, live with you every Sunday night. Hi,
Billy Cunningham, the Great American. Thanks for listening tonight. It's
been adventurous. About a forty five minutes or an hour ago,
the President on Truth Social said, House Republicans on Tuesday,
release the files, the Epstein files.
Speaker 5 (01:52:19):
That's what.
Speaker 4 (01:52:20):
That's what the Trumpster said about an hour and a
half ago. So everything has happened up to this point.
Going after Taylor Green or Trader Green, as the Trumpster says,
or Thomas Massey of Northern Kentucky and all the others
who opposed it, put that to decide, no harm, no foul,
don't worry about it. So I would assume now sometime
(01:52:41):
shortly after Tuesday or Wednesday, Senator John Thune's going to
put some resolution on the floor of the Senate which
is going to pass. Overwhelmingly. I said overwhelmingly it's going
to pass. And that means that we're going to have
the Epstein files, everything within the control of the executive branch,
ago government or the estate.
Speaker 5 (01:53:02):
The only remaining.
Speaker 4 (01:53:03):
Of course, would be the would be the grand jury
testimony that the federal judiciary controls and not Donald Trump.
Let's get it out, whatever it is it is. And
if some men, or I guess some the victims should
be able to say, don't put my name out there.
Many the victims are saying, put my name out there.
And the victims of these sexual assaults should have that
(01:53:24):
decision on their own, made by them or by their lawyers.
What an eventful night, Thanks for listening. Bill Cunningham, the
great American with you and all great Americans every Sunday night.
