As the recording of this episode HappyFourth of July Weekend, I wanted to
ask you, do you have anyFourth of July memories or just thoughts of
Fourth of July. It's never beenlike a big holiday to me. Yeah,
it's I've never celebrated with the classicbarbecues and the picnics or the parks.

(00:24):
Fourth of July was never that formy life. It's funny you say
that, because I'm exactly the same, and a lot has to do with
being Probably when I was a kid, I used to get a lot of
anxiety with fireworks as a kid.Not that I was scared of fireworks,
it was just one It just reallywasn't my thing. I just I didn't
care, Like I wasn't like,oh my god, this is cool.

(00:45):
Two, I used to always beafraid that, like my dad was gonna
get in trouble for like lighting themfor some reason. Yeah, even like
I don't know. I was justalways scared that he was gonna get in
trouble. And then I was alwaysscared that something was going to catch on
fire. And then plus I thinkI told you that story that this was
for New Years, but when peoplewere would shoot guns and then like a

(01:07):
bullet came through my window and landedon my bed when I had just gotten
up like a couple of minutes beforethat. So just throughout the years,
I've just always had this anxiety andPTSD of fireworks kind of um. I
mean, I can handle them, but you know, it's still it's still
it just it was never my thing. I'll just say that. But yeah,
plus I hate being outside. I'mnot like an outdoors person. I

(01:30):
don't know, it's just never beenmy thing. I mean during my childhood,
we would do where just immediate familywould buy the fireworks at those stands,
yeah, the boxes, and Iremember my cousins and cousins, and
I would enjoy, you know, that little part of it. But like
I said, it wasn't a bigparty. It was just all right,
what time is it. There's adark art, let's let's go light these

(01:52):
things up. And then that wasit. I remember during the daytime,
that's when you had to use thesmoke bombs. Yeah that's different colored ones.
Yeah, I remember enjoying that. And then yeah, just then your
parents were just like those sparkler things, and but it was never what I
see some of my friends do withthe pool parties. Everyone's just in red,

(02:15):
white and blue outfits. I've neverdone anything like that. Yeah,
I mean I would do that hereand there and growing up with like family.
Matter of fact, last year,I did something like that with family
and friends where I did the wholelike barbecue and like the kids were in
the pool. But again I wasjust like uncomfortable, Like I hate sitting
outside especially you know, it's gonnabe like triple digits through this weekend,

(02:37):
so yeah, not my thing.Man for the chill has never been my
thing. Let's let's wrap it upwith this is what's the plans for this
year twenty twenty three. I havenothing right now, so it might just
be on some like stay inside honestlyand just watch some of these streaming things
that we're about to talk about.Yeah, I mean my plans is to
I'm pretty I'm pretty sure you're actuallykind of doing something. We're Universal Studios

(03:00):
Hollywood on the third. Yeah, you know, if they're doing fireworks that
I don't know, but I'm hopingso then that'll that'll be my celebration.
Uh, but yeah, just chillingon the fourth. Nothing big on my
end either, but I'm good eitherway. Yeah, I'm good, but
it was to me it was alwaysone of those kind of overrated or maybe

(03:22):
I shouldn't say that, just personallyfor me, it just really wasn't holidayd
I really cared about. All right, well, there you Happy birthday America.
This could get me fire podcasts. What up? I'm jizo. That
is John Magic and we are back. A popular episode we always do where

(03:45):
we get a ton of listens anda ton of comments is when we talk
about things were watching, where thingswere recently watching on our streaming services,
or movies that we both recommend.Uh, So we haven't done that in
a while, so we thought aboutdoing it. Have we actually ever done
at a full episode on the stuffwe watched? I know we always kind

(04:08):
of talk about it in the beginningof some of our podcasts, but you're
right, we always get a lotof responses on that, like people cared
at what we have to say aboutsome of these shows. So I don't
know if we've ever done a fullepisode. But there's so much going on
right now, and we've watched somuch that we thought that maybe we would
just do a full episode. Hut. The things that we've been watching so
I stand corrected, because I thinkyou're right. I would have remembered what

(04:28):
the title was. But yeah,I don't think we did a episode specifically
about things we're watching. Yeah, but yeah, this all came about with
comments that people say, hey,I started watching this because I heard you
guys talk about it and I loveit, or or yeah, or they
say yeah, I'm not watching thatshow, or people commenting I'm glad you
guys are watching that because I've alreadyfinished that season. Okay, so before

(04:53):
we get into some of these showsthat we're watching, let me, let's
just put this out there. Shouldwe just not do any spoilers? Are
just like, be careful just incase people want to watch these, or
should we say spoiler alert? Yeah? I don't think. Ah, man,
that's good. Is that a goodquestion. And there's some that I
know we're not gonna spoil. There'ssome that I don't even know. Yeah,

(05:13):
some of these haven't even came toan end yet. Um yeah,
yeah, maybe when it gets tothat specific show, say a spoiler alert
fast forward like the next minute orsomething. Yeah. All right, So
with that being said, just asof right now, we're not going to
spoil anything, and there's also nosense of order in what we're doing this,
and there's no our least to favoriteor not. No. No,

(05:34):
I just I think we're just gonnaconversate about things we're watching. The first
one I do want to bring upthough, and I just want to bring
it up because the season finale isalready this Sunday, well, the recording
of this podcast. Actually, what'sthe date today? This is June twenty
ninth, a Thursday. So thiscoming Sunday is the season finale of The
Idol, which is something that youstarted to watch and just fell off.

(05:58):
I've I've actually continued on it.A lot of the things I watch is
because of you, And I'll saymajority of the things you recommend to me,
I end up loving, like Yo, thanks for recommending that. So
The Idol is the one on Max, not not HBO Max anymore. Yeah,
and it's the one with the weekendAnd I forget her real name,

(06:20):
but Johnny Death's daughter, Lily RoseDepp. Is that her name you think?
Yeah? Beautiful by the way,Yeah, yeah, she's highs far
she's naked in the show, soyou can't go wrong with that. Um,
So you suggested this show? Yeah, you did warn me that it
was an odd first episode that howwould you explain when you try to explain

(06:43):
it to me. So, thepremise of this show is about this pop
star, like a real famous popstar played by Lily and she's sort of
in the middle of her career maybethings. She's not really at the height
of her career, and she's kindof going through it with like her record
label and her next single, andshe hasn't really put out stuff, kind
of like that industry stuff that thesepop stars go through. And the Weekend

(07:05):
sort of plays this promoter at aclub or I think maybe he owns the
club, and he's kind of likea dirt bag, you know, like
a douchebag. He's very like ut, yeah, he can swindle people like
how he talks. He has thislike rat tail. It's very like he's
just very grimy, right, buthe has a mouthpiece on him and he's

(07:26):
kind of working his magic, ifyou will, on this pop star to
sort of get her under his controland where she should go musically maybe yeah.
And so that's the gist of thepremise of it. So there's kind
of like this like this fight betweenyou know, the record label and her
and where she wants to go withher music, and then the weekend kind
of convincing her where she should go. And it's kind of turned into this

(07:50):
real CULTI circle that he's creating thatI'll just say that, right. So,
when you brought this up to me, it definitely sounded interesting because of
the industry we're in. We're inthe music industry, and it could beat
to us. Yeah, relatable,But you did warn me that the first
episode it's almost like one of thoseset up episodes where they're just kind of

(08:15):
setting up all the characters, andyou did say it might be one of
those things where we need to stickwith it to see if it gets any
better. Yeah. So I watchedthe first episode and I was just not
gonna lie. I was kind ofbored with it. Nothing really captured me
too much. So I'm not sayingI'm not going to watch the rest,

(08:37):
but so far I have not wentback to it, so I've stayed on
it, and it felt like whenit started to get somewhere like, Okay,
this is I feel like this iswhere we're going. Now we're almost
at the height of the series, and now it should start to like kind
of straighten out and then like closeout, and then I find out this
week episode five is the last one, and I'm just like, I don't

(08:58):
even know if they must have aseason two planned, because there's no way
they're closing out this story with justone more episode left. But then it
reminded me that this show has somuch controversy from the beginning when they started
working on it. And I'll justsay this real quick, So when they
first started working on it, theyhad one director and it was a good

(09:18):
eighty percent done right then last yearlast spring, they decided they wanted to
scrap all that, and they broughtin a new director who was actually the
co writer, Sam Leavingson, andhe directs Euphorian stuff, and he started
to like basically reshoot this. Sonow it makes sense because it looks a
little choppy, it looks a littlerush. And another thing that I was

(09:41):
noticing is there's not very many locations. It's kind of set in one area.
You can kind of tell that itwas rush. But now when I
read all this and makes sense, they had less than a year to essentially
put all this together, and sowhat they ended up doing is probably not
shooting in as many places because they'rebudget was smaller. And I found out
that's not really a spoiler, buther house to pop start her house put

(10:05):
it this way, it's the weekend'shouse. So they were probably like,
yo, we were scrambling around, and he was probably like, we could
just use my house. Let's justreshoot this ship. And uh, based
off all the controversy that's been goingon because there's like a lot of sex
scenes in this show, I don'tthink there's gonna be a season two.
This show has been a mess fromthe get That's what it feels like,

(10:26):
and you can see it in watchingit. With that being said, the
season finale is on Sunday. I'llwatch it just to see how it ends.
But my guess is there's not gonnabe a season two and this show
just was doomed from the beginning. So here's what I'm gonna do to wrap
up this show. I'm gonna waitfor you to let me know if it's
worth to watch it, because it'sonly five episodes, so you can binge

(10:46):
it. So but if it's ifit's not a good ending, then yeah,
I'll probably pass on that one.All right, Um, one show
that we were super fans of andI think I'm the one that suggested it
to you. It's on Hulu andit's The Bear. And this is one
where we're kind of we flipped onthis one. Now you're kind of been

(11:07):
going through watching it and I've kindof stopped and been like, yeah,
I don't know. First season,we both enjoyed it, and not only
us but the world because it becameso popular on social media. Everyone was
talking about The Bear. That's basicallythe story. There is this m cook
who goes back home to Chicago becausehe's been studying of the Court on Blue

(11:31):
whatever, you know, the fancySchool of Chefs, and he kind of
takes over his brother's restaurant and basicallyit's the life of a restaurant. Season
one was the struggles of just owninga restaurant. Well, season two it's
the struggle of opening his own restaurantfrom scratch. Yeah. Yeah, and

(11:54):
we'll just you know, that's allwe'll talk about with the show. And
I've been enjoying it, and maybeit's because I'm I'm having a lot of
relatable moments with opening a restaurant andthe struggles they're going through, and so
far so good. I'm on episodesix and I'm enjoying it. You're more
kind of like you think it's kindof slow right now. So I'll say

(12:16):
my part. I really enjoyed thefirst season. I'm a fan of shows
or movies that are in the kitchen. I watch a lot of Food Network
that's obviously like the real stuff, but some movies that I really like.
Chef. We've talked about with JonFavreau, Right, that's a really good
movie, The Menu. I wasthe one that told you about that one.

(12:37):
That's more that's uh, that takeslike a different take, that's more
of like a what is that whatI'm looking for? Like a satire?
And then I don't know if youever watched Burnts what Bradley Cooper You've told
me about that, I haven't watchedit. So just those shows of like
the anxiety of in the kitchen andworking and trying to put out stuff like
that's like I'm a fan of that, and that was all season one one.

(12:58):
Now as I dive into season two, I'm getting none of that.
First two episodes, I'm like,I'm not getting anything because what you said,
now, it's about like opening upa restaurant, so it's a whole
different vibe, right right, andnow there's new characters, and I just
haven't been able to latch on sofar in the first two episodes. It's
been a little slower for me.But everything I'm seeing one hundred percent in
Ron Tomatoes, all these cameos thatare apparently in it. You're saying it's

(13:22):
good. Everyone else is telling meit's good. So I might just do
like you like, wait till you'redone watching it, and then I'll go
back to it again with my relatablemoments. You're right, Season two is
more about the struggles of opening upa restaurant, meaning it's you're not getting
the kitchen stuff, yeah, whichthere is a little bit of that so

(13:43):
far in the first six episodes.Who knows, I haven't seen past six,
So maybe the things that you likewill eventually show up. I don't
know. My theory. This isjust my theory, and there's no spoiler
here because I haven't seen it yet. My theory is it's gonna go until
they opened the restaurant, and that'show the season's gonna end. So just

(14:05):
for just sake of this conversation,I believe there's ten episodes, so are
you saying on the tenth episode that'swhen we get, oh, restaurants open
and maybe a little bit, andthen it ends on that, and then
season three will probably be at thenew restaurant, back to the things that
you like with all the kitchen stuff. To me, I'll just wait till
season three. But it's so relatableon me. I'm enjoying it because of
the stress or going through from pickingplates, picking silverware, how the restaurant's

(14:28):
gonna look, the color scheme. This is what you literally went through what
your restaurant right exactly. Obviously mybusiness partners did majority of the footwork on
that, but just the stress ofthe meetings we had of what bowls and
stuff we should pick. Yeah, and how much Oh I'm a fan of
this styllable, Well we can't givethat because it's just super expensive. So

(14:54):
even the episodes go through stuff likethat, so super relatable for me,
and yeah, i'm it, andyeah, I'm I'll say this for my
last thing, this last episode withall the cameos that people are talking about,
it's a certain episode where the wholeepisode is all cameos. That was
a good episode, wild wild anddo you feel like that turned a corner

(15:15):
for you? Um? I getwhat they were doing with this episode.
I'll say the reason for it.I'll say this that I don't think this
this is not a spoiler. Um, it's a flashback episode, got you,
Okay, It's it's a setup forsomething else, which at the end
of the episode, I was like, Oh, I see why they did
this episode. Okay, but allthe cameos, super A List stars um

(15:41):
acting on this just one particular episode, and I enjoyed it all right.
Um, I got another one justbecause I watched the most recent episode last
night. Is Marvel's new series SecretInvasion. Two episodes in so far.
Have you watched both? No,I've only seen one and I haven't.
I don't have an opinion on ityet. The thing I'll say is what

(16:04):
we've always said about Marvel shows, movies, or on Disney Plus. Sometimes
when we're not familiar with the superhero, sometimes we're both kind of like about
it. So this is where I'mat with this one, where I'm not
too sure yet. But the firstepisode I see where they're going. Yeah,

(16:26):
I haven't seen the second one yet, just because there's so many things
we're watching right now, so I'mkind of spreading it out and I'll get
to that the second episode. Ikind of still feel the same. I
think you might still feel the same, where like you're kind of just m
okay. So there's gonna be atotal of six episodes. They're all an
hour each, one episode a weekon Wednesdays on Disney Plus. We're barely

(16:48):
on the second episode. This seriesis called Secret Invasion. This one as
stars Samuel Jackson's character Nick Fiery. You know, he's the one that put
together Avengers, and this one focuseson him in the scrolls. Now,
if you remember watching Captain Marvel,it tells the story of how he even
got to know the squirrels back inthe nineties. But this particular show is

(17:10):
up to date, if you will, so after the Snap and all that,
so we're up to date in theMarvel world in this show. And
uh, I don't know, Idon't It's it's interesting, but it's nothing,
you know, you don't have likesuperheroes flying around. It's more grounded,
if you will. And I'm kindof work where you're at. Even

(17:32):
after watching another episode, I'm kindof still like, all right, I'm
gonna watch it. I'm gonna seewhere it goes. But so far,
I mean the girl from a whatis it? Dragons? Oh yeah,
Amelia Clark, she's in there.Yeah, she's in there. Every time
I watch something with people from certainshows where they became an iconic character,

(17:52):
you see them as that character. It's always hard. It's always hard for
me to see him in a differentcharacter because, um anyways, Yeah,
so yeah, I'm with you.I'll watch it when I can. I'm
not super the word is not excited. I'm not pressed to watch the next
episode right away. Yeah, exactly. Can I go to this real quick
to get away from things that arecurrent? Yeah? Are you doing any

(18:17):
shows where you go back to it, like old shows where you're rewatching it
because it's been so long. No, but since the pandemic, because you
know how everybody was binging and catchingup on stuff since the pandemic. So
my thing has been catching up onold shows that were really popular that I
just never got into. So I'vebeen doing that the past couple of years.

(18:41):
So right now I'm doing a BigBang theory just because I never watched
it. My dad was like areally big fan of that and so I
just started binging that because it's onMax. I'm enjoying that. Another one
that I just got because I justgot Peacock is The Office. So I've
never seen Office and so now I'vebeen like binging The Office. So those

(19:03):
are two shows that that are old. But have I went back on a
show that I've watched, No,I haven't. I'm gonna speak on the
two that you've just talked about.I've only watched episodes. I haven't like
binged it all the way through.Yeah, in order, So those two
shows I do hear big things about, So, especially The Office, I
might have to do that one inorder because I've only seen spot episodes.

(19:26):
Yeah, you have Peacock too, huh. The weird thing with that is
I just got an email saying that, UM my time, because I've had
it for a year and a halfand it says that I'm after my two
years, it's gonna be gone.Really two years? Yeah, I guess,
so like um now, And Ithink the email said it's only three

(19:48):
bucks a month, So I don'tknow if that'll get me to continue it.
But if I want to watch theOffice, I guess I have to.
Um, one that I saw onNetflix that just popped up was Friday
Night Lights. Okay, actually, let me back up and and and say
this. The movie Friday night Lightspopped up and um, the serious movie.

(20:10):
I forget the actor's name, BillyBob Thornton was the coach. So
I watched that movie and it's amovie I've seen before, and I enjoyed
it. I was like, oh, yeah, this was a good movie.
And then what popped up next waswe suggest you'll like the TV show.
And I remember being a fan ofthe TV show as well years ago.
Yeah, I remember you used totell me about it and you would

(20:33):
follow these players and stuff like that. Yes, so I watched, Um,
well, no, this is theTV show Friday Night Lights, like
the you know accident. Yeah,so I watched the TV show. It
was on NBC. It's on Netflixnow and I haven't seen it for years.
So there's I think seven seasons, seven or eight seasons. So I

(20:55):
rewatched it and I'm on season threeas we speak, and yeah, it's
like a good football high school footballshow. Was there any actors in there
at the time that I don't knowthe name? I don't I don't know
their names. There's a couple bigrecognizable. Yeah, it's been in movies.
But um, I'm on season threenow, and it's the thing that's

(21:17):
kind of funny to me is it'sturning sort of unrealistic because the football stars
of season one, a few playersare still playing and they're barely now saying
oh yeah, they're seniors in seasonthree, which is meaning their third year,
so that means they were superstars assophomores. They won the championship as
sophomores. So I'm like this now. Luckily they don't mention that in season

(21:44):
one. They don't say what greatthey're in. But it's one of those
things where they look older than theyare, but they're playing like high school
kids. Yeah, but story wise, I'm enjoying it. It's just a
fun like high school football. Idon't maybe it takes me back to my
high school football days. But I'mon season three. I'm rewatching Friday Night
Lights. Okay, all right,so yeah, I got another one.

(22:06):
I just actually just thought about thisone because I know we both watched it.
I don't know if you finished it, but it's an easy watch on
Netflix. It's it's a documentary sincewe haven't spoke on a documentary, but
Arnold I'm on number two. Ilike how they set up each episode as
a part of his life, partof his career. Yeah, from like
his gym workout, you know, life to his acting. I'm on the

(22:27):
acting one, right, Okay,yeah, so I was. I don't
know if I've ever spoke on this, but I was raised in the Arnold
world. If you will. Mydad is a huge Arnold Schwarzenegger fan.
Basically, how I am to MichaelJackson is how my dad is to Arnold
Swarzenegger. Like he has Arnold tattoosand everything. And I got into working
out because of my dad, andmy dad got into it because of Arnold.

(22:48):
My dad built our garage into agym, and literally all around the
garage was nothing but Arnold Schwarzenegger poster. We followed. Yeah, maybe I
should do a podcast on that wasinteresting. How we used to follow Arnold's
like to the tee on these workoutsand everything. My dad had this book
that we used to call the Biblebecause it was Arnold's book, and he
like would have workout routines and wewould follow. Thus, So I always
and my dad all his movies. So I grew up around Arnold. We're

(23:12):
gonna say something, No, Iwas gonna say mass that this documentary was
really like made for you. Yeahliterally right, So so when I was
good, so going into this documentary, I was like really excited because I
just I've just been raised around Arnold. I actually not got to officially meet
him, but when he was likeon his politics stuff and he came out
to Fresno a couple of times.I actually got like an autograph from him

(23:34):
and everything. Anyways, just goback to the documentary. So he put
he puts out this documentary and it'sin three parts an hour each. The
first part is about his body buildingera, the second part his movie era,
and then the last part was abouthis politics era. But just in
watching this and like just the motivationthis dude had, the will that he
had just all he cared about waswhat he was passionate about. Like he

(23:59):
left his country because he wanted tobe a bodybuilder, and once he dominated
that, he wanted to go intoacting, and once he dominated that,
he wanted to go into politics. And yeah, it's just like a really
good documentary. It's up on Netflix. I remember my first memory of Arnold
is Conan the Barbarian. Yeah,my parents watching that, you know,

(24:21):
sitting me down and watched this movie. And that wasn't my first introduction to
Arnold Schwarzenegger, but it is coolto see. I never knew the bodybuilders
story part. I knew he wasmister Olypia, but just the story of
how he got there, the bodybuilderpart is crazy. I knew a lot
of that because he has a documentarycalled Pumping Iron and they show actually a

(24:44):
lot of that footage in this documentary, So I knew a lot of that,
but there was still much that Ididn't know. But you get a
little bit of a story about hishis backstory, like his family and stuff.
And what I like about this ishe's actually because he still alive,
so he's actually telling the story. That's the best is when you actually get
that person telling their own documentary becauseit's straight from their mouth. And he

(25:07):
didn't shy away from some of thedrama stuff, like you know, how
he had the love child, hecheated on his wife. He talks about
that, I mean he talks aboutit like he does steroids. Yeah,
no, he talks about that too. He goes into everything and I was
like, you know, I'm noteven mad. Like he talks about all
the bad stuff in his life.A lot of people choose to leave that
out of documentaries, and he speakson it. So good documentary. It's

(25:27):
called Arnold. It's up on Netflix. The last one I have is recently.
When I say recently, just yesterday, you told me to watch it,
and it's more of this reality gameshow. It's about, you know,
the kids of that related to ClaimClaim the Fame. Oh yeah,

(25:47):
we I mean he talked about this, yet you told me to watch it.
And the only reason why I'm bringingthis up right now is you the
way you explained it to me yesterday. I was like, okay, I
think the way you explained it,I'm mean I sold it a little better
than what it was. So Igo home and I see it Claim the
fam I start watching it. Episodeyou told me Episode one's really good.

(26:07):
That's the way you kind of hookedme on it. And to be honest
with you, I was kind ofbored with it, and I was like,
uh, you know, I don'tsee really anything interesting with this.
I get the premise of it,and then I text You'm all, hey,
just wondering is the episode you weretalking about season one and you're like,
oh my bad, Ye two iswhat I'm talking about. So I

(26:30):
might have to skip season one becauseI'm already bored with just watching the first
episode and go straight to season two. Yeah. So I knew nothing about
this show until it started becoming trendyoff of this season two episode one.
The premise of this show is allthese people are stuck in like a house.
It's statypical reality. You know, let's gather everybody in a house,

(26:51):
let's do these competitions, and someone'sgonna leave with money at the end.
But what's the difference is everybody inthis house, they're all related to celebrities,
so either like a niece to acelebrity, a brother to a celebrity,
daughter a daughter, or whatever, like nobody knows. Everybody in this
house knows this. Somebody's related tosomebody, but they don't know who.

(27:11):
But they're they're supposed to talk toeach other and figure out who is related
or who they're related to. There'seven clues like around the house. They
do these competitions were uh, youknow, to give even more clues,
and then they're all supposed to figureout who's related to who, and then
if they figure out who you're relatedto, you get kicked off, and
then who's ever left last is gonnawin this money in the prize. But

(27:33):
it started trending like on social mediabecause one of the contestants who got kicked
out was like freaking out and she'sactually related to like a big name celebrity,
and the person figured it out andshe was like flipping out. So
I was like, I gotta watchthis, and I watched it and like,
yeah, it was. It wasactually kind of funny how much she
was like freaking out. So Iput you on it, except that I've

(27:56):
heard to God to tell you thatdon't watch season one. It's on season
two, so that's bad. Onthe side. Note on season one,
since I was watching it yesterday, there's two particular kids on there, or
I don't know if they're kids, but there's two particular people on there that
are related to a celebrity, andone of them looks exactly like the mom.
I'm like, I already know whoyou are because you look like that
person exactly. Well, no,I'm only guessing as a guess, so

(28:22):
I don't know one, sure, but she looks like the actual celebrity to
me, So I'm pretty sure that'sLonnie Love's daughter or whatever, the comedian
Lonnie Love. But yeah, I'msure that's who she's related to. But
I'll go to season two. I'mgonna go give this a shot again.
Season two, episode one. It'son a Hulu or ABC, I guess.

(28:45):
Yeah. I'm not sure how oftenthey come out. I mean once
a week, but I don't knowwhich. I only saw one on Hulu.
On season two. There's only oneepisode so far, so maybe like
a Tuesday they come out or somethinglike that. I'm not sure. I
got to look at the schedule,so I'm assuming this is happening, like,
for example, no one has seenepisode two weeks No, no,
no weekly? Okay, yeah, yeah, it's like a week because I
think it comes out on cable technically, but if you have Hulu, obviously

(29:06):
it's there like the next day.Do you have any more on your list?
No, that's all I had.So I was gonna say, let's
do like a quick how about somequick ones where we don't really talk about
it, but just mentioned For example, succession, You've always talked about that
I've just never gotten into it.Yeah, Succession, you suggest that so
that ended? All seasons are out? It ended after season four. I

(29:26):
would say, honestly, top fiveshows I've I've watched Succession. I would
suggest that you, like I said, you can bench that. That's done.
It's not like the Seat. No, the series is done. You
can watch that four. It's gotfour seasons on it. What else you
got about the one on Apple TV? I forget oh Ted Lasso season one

(29:47):
in season two. I had AppleTV for free, so I got to
watch season one in season two andI enjoyed it. I've recently don't have
Apple TV anymore, but you do. Yeah, I got the free three
months and so I caught up onit, but the same I enjoyed season
one, season two. Yeah,I told you that I was going into
season three. You're like, yeah, I'm not sure. People are not
really talking about it. You're right, no one's talking about it, and

(30:10):
I know why. But I'm notgonna spoil anything. I would just say
the first two seasons great, thatthird one, yeah, I based that
on the whole fomo when you watchI mean, when when you read things
on social media? Season one andseason two. That's all people were talking
about. This show is amazing. You watch it and you see why everyone's
talking about it. And then whenyou asked me, hey, am I

(30:30):
watching three? I said no.But at the same time, I don't
see anyone talking about it anymore.Yea yeah, and then you you saw
the whole season, so you're likeyou understand why. Yeah, yeah,
I'm excited for things that are notout yet. But you told me that
they've made it official. And what'sthat thing on Max Warrior? Warrior?

(30:52):
Yeah, that's actually it's out startingtoday, I think so, or is
it sometime this It's sometime this month. Let's go Warrior. If you guys
haven't seen that on Max, gowatch season one. Super good show.
This is um it's almost like aBruce Lee story, fictional Bruce Lee story.
So I'll just say that because it'snot like it's well, it's based

(31:14):
off of writings that Bruce Lee wrote. So Bruce Lee, when he was
alive, was writing a show thathe thought would be dope. I don't
what error does this take place in, like in the forties, yeah,
something like that. No earlier thanthat, yeah, because they don't you
have cars or anything. It's Idon't know why, because you know how

(31:38):
they do San Francisco. So Iwas just thinking old San Francisco. Yeah.
So it's about you know, likea lot of immigrants coming over during
that era. Um, and ittakes But what's interesting is a lot of
times those stories always take place inNew York with the immigrants. This takes
place on the West Coast in SanFrancisco. Um yeah, eighteen forties.
What I meant, Yeah, thereyou go. And it's good man.

(31:59):
I mean it's this dude who youcan kind of tell he was supposed to
be Bruce Lee Ish. I don'tknow. It just it's got a lot
of like fighting, it's got somepolitics in it. It's just gangs.
Three gangs, I guess, Irishgangs. Um yeah, I don't know.
The Asians. Yeah yeah, yeah, So what happened again? What

(32:20):
didn't season one? People were talkingabout it and then I think what the
pandemic? I think stopped it.There's two seasons the season yeah, and
then the pandemic put everything on pause. And then I remember during the pandemic
they announced season three and that's Iremember. I hit you up like,
yeah, it was season three's coming. And then we kind of forgot about
it because it was like that wholepandemic, like they never said anything about

(32:42):
it. And then maybe just afew months ago it was like, boom,
we're coming this year, and Iwas like, oh shit, and
I want to say it's sometime thismonth that it's going to becoming to Max.
But it's called The Warrior and man, it's it's a really good show.
All right. That's all I hadon my suggestions. And yeah,
if you guys would, if yoursuggestions, did we not bring up anything
that you're watching watch? Yeah, because we have a lot of time now,

(33:07):
so yeah, let us know whatyou guys are watching.
