Speaker 1 (00:00):
Key one hundred with Dave and Gin.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
So Heath and I had a little barber's built day night.
Last day's really nice.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
We did. So Leo has been wanting to go to
Mamo pop Ball's, and so I said to Mama, Hey,
do you want to pick him up from daycare and
y'all hang with him for a little bit and then
we'll come get them nice and she said absolutely, So
he had a hoot and a half, and so Heath
and I walked up into town and we went to
Bruno's Spotted Hair. Okay, because on Wednesdays they now have

(00:33):
a raw Bar Wednesday.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
Spot now I know.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
Well, they just have such yummy stuff and their cucumber
basil martini is delightful.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Cucumber martini.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Cucumber basil martini.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Got it.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
It is very very light and refreshing. It is like
a summer drink. I absolutely love it. And then last night,
of course Raw Bar Wednesday, we got a dozen oysters
and we got a half and half because they had
two different types of oysters for grabs last night and
one came from like like the New England area. Okay,

(01:10):
well I guess they were both from the New England area,
but one was closer to like Canada. One was closer
to like Massachusetts. Okay, but anyways, either way, both were delicious.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
That's not something Tracy and I would ever or like
we did try oysters years ago one time.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Yeah, did you try it on a cracker?

Speaker 1 (01:31):
I don't recall.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
Actually, well, okay, if you ever want to try oysters,
start by doing it, you know, get a cracker, put
the oyster on the cracker, and then sometimes you can
put hot sauce.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
You can put the horse radish. We put the cocktail sauce,
and then you eat it and it's delightful.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Sorry, but it's like swallowing a big bluegie.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
It is Oh lookie, the taste good.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
You gotta try it again. But that's not all we have.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
We also had a good sushi. I know it had
crayfish in it. I can't remember crawl fishing it. I
can't remember whatever else it was part of lobster No, okay,
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
He'th got a lobster roll.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
Okay, you know lobster rolls like in the Bun or
whatever happened.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
One so good. So that is definitely something I would.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
Try, absolutely and so so yeah, so we were full up.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
We were delighted. It was delicious.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
And then we walked just next door to Corber Beer
Company and they have this outside you know, seating area
and they kind of have like an open model for
their tap room. Anyways, they had this huge garage door
that opens up, so it's kind of like the outside is.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
In and oh my gosh, it's so nice.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Okay, And so we had a drink there and we
just sat outside and we talked and oh my gosh,
it's just so much fun. And I love the history
of Barbersville because now eighteen sixty one, which is right
there as well, they use what used to be the
city or the village jail as like a seating area now.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Tracy and I got our picture there a few years back.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Yes, so, And that's the funny thing is that my
Poppall I remember my mom telling me when you know,
he was younger and mom was obviously younger, Popaull might
get a little intoxicated and he just kind of sleep
it off in the city, in the city jail and
then walk home the next day, you know, because that's
how I was back down.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Oh my gosh, the way I love.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
Barbersols so much. It's my favorite place ever
