Leo Greets the Doctor 11/13/25

Jenn talks about how cute Leo was at the doctor's office.

So had to take Leo to the doctor yesterday. Right,
So this week we've kept him home from school from
daycare because he developed a rash and it's not all
over and it's just sporadic. But I was more worried

about handfoot in mouth. I mean, it is a very
contagious disease. It's also very rampant in daycares anyways, but
we've not had anybody at the daycare say that there's
been an issue with that, so typically they give us
a heads up. Right, well, so I do take him
to the doctor, thank goodness, not handfoot in mouth. Awesome.
Doctor immediately looked at him, was like, well that's not
handfoot in mouth. I was like, okay, so and he

even said he was like, I can't tell you what
you know it really is or where it came from,
he said, but I can tell you how to fix it.
And so we did. We got he's taking like a
liquid steroid now and we've got some hydro cortisone cream
that we're putting on them. No change in detergent or
anything like no. So that's the thing, and we have
washed everything in our house, all the blankets, all the sheets,

all the I mean, all of his stuff, all of
his stuffed animals, like, everything has been sanitized at this point, right,
so really not sure where it came from. By the way,
though he has not had a single fever, he has
not felt bad whatsoever because he's running around like a madman.
He's eating like normal. So yeah, he has been absolutely
fine all week long. But so when we go to

the doctor yesterday, we go to Valley Health and Milton
and we just did the walk in because it would
be quicker to get seen, right, And so when the
nurse opened the door to say Ashford for us to
come in, he walks through and he goes, hi doctor,
and she goes, oh, my goodness, how cute. And he
gets up on the scale. He weighs forty two pounds,

by the way, and then we start walking back to
the room, and she was like, this way, little buddy,
And because he wanted to go in all directions and
she was so sweet to him, he kept you know,
she took his temperature in his ear and he sat
real still and she got his you know, his pulse
with the little thing and everything he did so good.
And when she was walking out, she was like, he's

just such a sweet little man. I was like, oh, well,
thank you. He's pretty good most days. And then and
then when she goes to walk out, he goes bye, doctor,
and she goes, oh, I just want to hang out
with you all day. I was like, well, I could
just leave him here like a little support animal. Ha
