got to do yesterday? What have my first mcgrib My
good buddy Shopy. You know, he supervisor over several McDonald's
in Kentucky there the Kentucky area, and he invited me
to come up to Flatwoods the Flatwood store yesterday. Mickey

is the store manager there, and then Megan is the
first assistant and I got to have lunch with all
of them and we hung out and did a lot
of talking. Here's something that I remember from back in
the day with the mcgrib I used to get it
just barbecue sauce.

No pickles or onions back in the day. Okay, now
I have to have the pickles and onions right because
it's part of it.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
Absolutely, it makes it. Yes, the sandwich.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
So see, that's what I'm saying, Like anytime somebody orders
something and they just asked for like, oh no, don't
do it with this or don't do it that. You know,
they they created it the way it should be.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Yes, exactly, give give it a shot. Yeah, if you
don't like it, then maybe you such it up exactly,
but it was delicious.

It's like it reminds you of this time of year
every year.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
It really does. And it also makes me want to
because I know it's gonna be gone in about a
month or so, I know, so it makes me want
to buy like ten of them and take them home
and put them in the freezer. Yep, you know.

And the marketing worked, I mean, because that is exactly
what they want you to do. They put it on
there for a limited time because they know they're like,
oh come on, they're gonna come like crazy they want
these mcream.

Something else that Mickey and my buddy Shoby were telling
me about. They do a fun Friday, a fun family Friday,
I think, where they cook something cool like the white
chicken soup.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Yeah, white chicken chili, white chicken chili. Oh yea.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
This week, this coming week they're doing a big Thanksgiving
meal all the trimmings and a deep fried turkey. Guess
who's been invited you that's right, oh my, oh my,
might have a mcre like on the side.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
They do these like at the at the.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
At the store for the employees. It is super cool
and they do it like every week.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Where are we working? Because that sounds.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Amazing, It does sound amazing. Very quiet They even have
like some regular customers who participate and even like donate
some money to help with calls and everything's super awesome.
And then they also have some employees who are off
that day who come in to eat and tell you,
I know, right, McDonald It's like a big family, y'all.

They're killing it every there. As long as Sheby's maneers,
you're doing great.
