So I found some unwritten rules that people abide by
or live by. Okay, and it was just like a
hodgepodge of a list, But I thought these were pretty
pretty darn good.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Uh, I don't sweat the small stuff.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
That's a good one, okay. This one says, if someone
is excited about something, let.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Them be Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Absolutely, you do not have to understand it to be kind.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
When we went to a marriage seminar a few months back,
one of the things specifically with your spouse obviously, it
said you should feel what they're feeling. They're excited about absolutely,
even if it's not your cup of tea, even if
it's not your thing, exactly, be excited for them. It's

a good thing.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
That's what we have been reading about with parenting. We
read a lot of parenting articles and it says the
same thing about your kids, Like, I know, roadblocks may
not be your thing, right, So if your kid is
excited that they've made it to such a high level, yes, don't.

Talk crap about it, you know what I mean? Fun
with it.

This one, obviously, this is one that I've told Presley
a million times over. Treat others the way you want
to be treated. If you don't want to be talked
crap about, don't talk crap. If you don't want.

To be rude, or if you don't want people to
be rude to you, don't be rude to them. This one,
I thought was just an obvious thing, But I guess
not pull over for emergency vehicles. If you see those
lights behind you, you pull off the road so they
can get through because they've got to get to somebody.
And in the same sense of that, you remember when
I blew out my tire on the Interstate a few

years ago and I pulled off to the side of
the road, was waiting for the tow truck, and I
had my flashers on, so they knew it was an
active situation.

So many people do not get over. And it's a
three lane road. It was on the Highway, it was
on the Interstate, so like it's three lanes, you can't
possibly get over, so that you're not right beside my
vehicle doing eighty miles an hour.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Yeah, you gotta get over. People do get over, And
then just another point for a funeral if they're passing by.
If they're on, get.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Over, get over, pull off and put on your flashers
and stop them.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Wait.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Be respectful. This one says, leave it better than you
found it. I always tell Presley and Heath in the house,
put it back where you found it. If you use something,
I don't care. If you can use anything in this house,
put it back there. You go, just a little few
things
