Speaker 1 (00:00):
Jeff and also joins us now as our DHS Secretary
Christie Nolme, you know, has been very outspoken about these
sanctuary policies and in Illinois unleashed you know, all these
different things that are happening because of this policies they've
got in these woke cities, the violence that is erupting. Jeff,
(00:20):
welcome in, Thanks for being.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
Here, JT Morning, Seaman, Governor Pritzker for what he's done
to Illinois. Those are the words from DHS Secretary Christie Noome. Yesterday.
She was in Springfield, how a press conference on a
street corner where and the illegal immigrant killed a woman,
and she was flanked by other angel families who've lost
loved ones due to crimes committed by illegals. And so
(00:42):
she's demanding not only Cook County, the city of Chicago,
but Illinal like Governor J. B. Pritzker and the sanctuary
city policies that she says have unleashed violence, calling for
a return to law and order and for the state
to safety of Americans first.
Speaker 1 (01:02):
You know, this guy Pritzker, I don't know if he's
got presidential you know, hopeful wishes, but you know he
has been completely on the wrong side of this from
day one, and the fact that now he's caused these problems,
and you know, you got Christy Nome coming in our
homeland security and calling it what it is. When are
(01:24):
they going to wake up in Illinois and understand we're
trying to get bad people out here. And look, Christy
Nome's not only been very vocal about what's going to
be happening here, but Tom Holman as well, our borders
are has said, look, here's the deal. We're coming and
if you getting our way, you know you're going to
be held accountable for it. And if you want to
be an elected official and still getting our way, you'll
(01:46):
be held accountable for it as well. So for the
what are the residents saying there, you live in that area,
what's the reaction been on Pritzker's move here, and you know,
allowing this to continue.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
Well, we've been talking about this for the last couple
of years. JT. Where you all of a sudden see
City Hall in downtown Chicago filled with Black Americans wearing
mega hats because they're tired of the sanctuary city policies
that they contend have destroyed the city and have stolen
resources from them, their parks, their schools, financial resources as well.
(02:22):
And we've seen the Trump administration and Immigration and Customs
Enforcement i e. Tom Allman have now really made Illinois,
in particular Chicago a priority of their deportation efforts, with
hundreds of federal employees coming into the city to try
and round up illegal immigrants, particularly criminals due to the
(02:43):
city and the state's policies that the governor and the
mayor have defended that bar local and state law enforcement
from from and federal from working with ice. Wow.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
Yeah, you know, and this is going to go back
to the Supreme Court on this whole due process thing
and you know, constitution only, what's the interpretation of being
able to remove somebody like this and these judges, these
rogue judges that are getting away of the president's policies
what was voted for by the American people to clean
this country up is outrageous as well.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
So hopefully, yeah, this is.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
Going to be taken care of by Christinome and the
likes with Pambondi and our Congress as well, and even
the courts at some point. Look, we got to clean
this country up after four years of what Joe Biden's
policies have done to us. We are not safe in
this country because of that. Thank you, Jeff Minots so
I appreciate youall.
