Speaker 1 (00:00):
And our course mound, Roy and Neil been digging into
(00:01):
what's going on with the Epstein file case here, Donald
Trump and the Congress and where we are the release
the lack of release of these files, emails coming on,
released and leaked, and Roy, welcome in, John Mounts here
in for McKenzie's when we were just talking about this
as we knew where were getting you on the air,
and I want to get the latest from you obviously
on what's going on with Congress and where Republicans are
(00:25):
and Democrats are and you know the DOJ now following
this lawsuit. Then when I get to you know, finished
with that getting the update there, I want you, me
and John to put our conspiracy theory hats on all
of this and kind of break it down a little bit,
you know, from from three guys sitting here just talking
about what really is going on. So good morning. First
of all, welcome in, and let's talk about the release
of you know, all of this, the pressure from the DOJ.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
Right, So we've got to vote coming up next week
apparently on this discharge petition in the House, which means
the majority of House members signed on to this, some
Republicans mostly Democrats who's onto this petition to force a
vote that would tell the Justice Department to release everything. Now,
it's got a long way to go in terms of
getting to the Senate and then if President Trump signs it.
(01:10):
But what's interesting, though, is to see who's going to vote,
how and where and where they're willing to put their name.
And you know, this issue has really divided a lot
of the Magas supporters because many made their bones in
this movement, like Dan Bongino or Cash Mattel talking about
the deep state and releasing this stuff and let's get
the Epstein files out there. But now very quiet on
(01:32):
the other side now that they're in office.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
Well is that a political quietness or is it a Hey,
I've seen the files and you know there's more here
than I thought. And maybe we shouldn't because too many
people are out there that are implicated by this. And
you know, why go quiet? Because Donald Trump became president,
he said to be quiet once again. You know, I'd
(01:55):
like to see them released. I mean, if these.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
You and yeah, you and tventy seven percent of Americans
and the fact that you just asked what five questions?
Right there is the problem for the Trump administration. You know,
that's and we're also seeing Donald Trump react and behave
so differently. You know, Wednesday night signs the bill to
reopen the government, doesn't take any questions because the Epstein
story had broke earlier that same day yesterday, walks right
(02:19):
past the press after the event that the trade announcement
to whatever again, doesn't take any questions. God bless him
for our line at work. Donald Trump loves to talk
to the press. But why is it he suddenly goes
radio silent when there's nothing to hide.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
All right, let's open the conversation. John, join us as well.
All I put your hat on here. Roy, you know
your theory. Sitting around with a couple of guys having
beers on your back deck with a bonfire going tonight,
watching football games. What's your thoughts on what the reality
of the situation is?
Speaker 2 (02:51):
Are you asking me here, John.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
I'm asking you.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
I'm sorry, R Yeah. I would. I would say there's
more there there, But I don't think President Trump was
personally involved in But I think there's more to it
and what he knew was going on.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
Yeah, And I think if Trump was really you know,
right in the crosshairs of oh my gosh, I can't
believe he was. Actually they're doing things. Democrats had these
files before Trump came back into office. All right, so
if they had something like that, Democrats going to release
this during Biden's administration. All right, John, your theory's on
what the reality of the situation is.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
I would agree with Rory, and I think probably there's
some information in there, like Trump scribbled something on cocktail
napkin and he knew. It's going to prove that he
probably had at least some knowledge that something was going on.
Now there's another theory, and I've heard this one kicked
around that and this is a little more timfoil hat
that the Epstein Island was being used by the United
States to entrap people from foreign countries to create compromising
(03:46):
material on them. Now, that would look bad for those countries,
but it looks bad for US for conspiring with Epstein
to put girls in a compromising position, to put people
from Russia or whatever.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
So you're saying it with the United States a little
one brothel that a lot of people were running for
the world.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
That's the deeper conspiracy theory. But those are my two
theories on it.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
I think Roy is correct. I think you're probably correct
as well, and that this is very weinstein Ish, But
Hervey Weinstein's deal was Hollywood and actresses and things like that.
For the most part, this Epstein thing is Harvey Weinstein,
but on a global level, and I do think it
does involve foreign entities. I do believe it involves heads
of tech companies and celebrity at least princess from England
(04:28):
and princess from ing former princes and politicians in the
United States. I don't think Trump is implicated criminally or anything.
I think that everybody thatose name would be on this
list if it were released, has a certain amount of
electric static all over their faces and ick tied to
them because they were there. Okay, But I think I
think it could paint people in a lot of bad lights,
(04:51):
you know.
Speaker 3 (04:51):
Trump, If it shows that Trump even knew about it, it
would put Trump in a bad light.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
Correct, I mean, and I think there are a lot
of people that knew about it, that got to the
island and saw and then turned into a you turn
and left because they knew it. But does that implicate
you as a bad person and lose your job and
cancel you and possibly lose your position with a corporation,
or if you just left John. You know, so, Roy,
I'm with you. I think that you know, there's going
(05:18):
to give you.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
My concern, however, is that it is somebody else from
outside the country who is telling or in some way
instructing Donald Trump to say, you keep these files under
a wrap or else I'm gonna blank blank blank blank
to you. Yeah, I hope President Trump is not being
manipulated to keep this information secret.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
For I agree. I I you know, when Trump said
let's get these things released and then backs off, you know,
you wonder, okay, now that you're back in the White House,
how many personal phone calls did he get from these
tentacles of ick out there going look, we were there too,
you know.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
And Lauren Bobert in the situation room getting her arm
twisted by the age in the head of the FBI
and there's nothing there like wait, what what did elaborate?
So Lauren Bobert, who is one of the signers of
this discharge petition and a crucial vote, one of the
few Republicans to support force the hand of the DP
(06:16):
to vote on the Epstein files, she was taken into
the situation room with the Attorney General and the head
of the FBI to talk for them to what is
it inform her about the Epstein files. Essentially, they were
trying to twist her arm to get her name off
the petition. If you flip Bobert, this thing dies. But
she's sticking to her guns and she's keeping her name
(06:37):
on the discharge petition. But how bizarre to bring a
member of Congress into the situation room.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
I got you, I got you conversation. There are meetings
happening on Capitol Hill that you and I would go
what all day long, every day under all administrations. And yeah,
there's a lot of behind the scenes and closed doors
meetings that you know, we would just as voters probably
you know, throw up over. But this Epstein thing, I'm
not sure it's ever going to get out there because
(07:03):
there's too many people tied to it, layer after layer
after layer, and a domino effect like we've never seen
before if it does happen. So I'm not sure there's
criminal implication, probably with some people, but I don't think
the President of the United States. I don't think Donald
Trump is in those cross heres. So all right, Yeah,
I have a good weekend, buddy, I appreciate you. Thanks
for chatting with us.
