What is happening here, God Almighty, what is happening to this country?
What is happening here? What ishappening to a country? What's happening to

(00:26):
my country? You know, Idon't know what's gonna happen or how are
we gonna I don't know if Americais going to survive. This country is
whacked out right now everything, butyeah, look at the state of the
country. Oh, because this countryis is whacked out right now. This

(00:52):
is insanity. These people are insanein the membrane, Yes they are.
Yes, They're very insane in theirmembrane. Our entire country needs a membranologist

(01:15):
or a membrane specialist. The UncleHenry Show underway here on news radio seven
ten WN. Tim. I appreciateyou listening to the Uncle Henry Show.
You can pop in on the show. You can join me on the show.
Two five one four seven nine twoseven two three is a telephone number
two five one four seven nine twoseven two three email address Uncle Henry at

(01:38):
iHeartMedia dot com. Yes, Idid see the Alabama game, Yes I
did. I saw it. We'llget to that. In fact, I've
received voicemails that I never thought Iwould ever get from any human being about

(01:59):
the Alabama game. Yes, yes, I've received those kinds of messages,
shock messages that I never thought Iwould get as a result of Saturday's Alabama
Texas game. We'll get into thatlater in the show, because today is
of course nine to eleven the anniversary. Now you don't have to call in

(02:21):
about that. I do have somesome messages about nine to eleven people.
This morning, people started calling justtalking about nine to eleven to me on
my voicemail. I will say thatas the years go by, I'm now
getting I've noticed the last few nineto elevens. I get caught off guard

(02:43):
now because I don't know why, maybe because years have passed, but I
can't I keep getting caught off guardon how amazing the stories are of individuals
being heroic on that day, becauseit seems like every year I'll hear a
story that I've never heard before. There's so many, hundreds of stories,

(03:04):
thousands of stories of people doing bravethings, and today hearing stories I've never
heard before, just powerful, powerfuland as horrible as that was, and
as we're still paying a price inmany ways because of the reaction to it,
there is an uplifting note that weare capable of such great things.

(03:30):
We are capable of such great heroism. You, of course, maybe not
the person next to you, butdon't don't give them a funny look.
But I'm thinking of you. You'recapable of great things and great heroism.
Now I do have some I dohave a caller waiting, caller, hang
on just a second. I dowant to get to quickly thoughts on nine

(03:53):
eleven that have been phoned in todayto me. Hey, You'm Glenn Snake
Trapper. Hey man, I'd likefor some point today everybody, no matter
where you are, what you believein, take a moment of silence and
reflect on the nine to eleven tragedy. Uncle Henry. It just goes to

(04:15):
show you that how thousands of familymembers, citizens Americans can be taken from
you in the blink of a Now, Uncle Henry, And one thing it
really turns my stomach about it,Uncle Henry. As the Democrat politicians will
get up there and say, neverforget. Oh, we all we must

(04:38):
always remember. But the sad thingabout it is, Uncle Henry, the
nine eleven Commission that was formed tofigure out why this happened, how it
happened, and how it could havebeen avoided. The one major thing they
come up with, Uncle Henry,if as if we would have enforced our
immigration laws, that it would havedefinite. They deterred it dramatically. That

(05:01):
is the one outcome at that commissioncome up with that would have protected thousands
of American lives, Uncle Henry. And it seems like they have forgotten,
Uncle Henry, because look at ouropen borders. You know. That tells
me that the Democrats they want chaos, they want terrorist attacks in America,

(05:25):
they want illegals to be killing Americancitizens. As long as they can have
chaos, Uncle Henry, they cankeep the attention off of them on the
government corruption. And it's not justDemocrats, there are some more corrupt Republicans
out there too. People just needto need to be aware and pay attention

(05:50):
to what your elected officials are doing. Hold them accountable, regardless of whether
they have a d or or aneye behind there in front of their name.
Uncle Henry. It's sad this countryis lost, but I do believe
it can be found. But anyway, Uncle Henry, I've just took my

(06:13):
moment of silence, reflected on it, and it just really sickens me that
our politicians have forgotten, Uncle Henry. But you have a good day,
budd and thank you Snake Trapper foryour thoughtful comments. Of course, also
you mentioned my name over and overand over again in your message, which

(06:34):
forced me to pay closer attention toyou, So thank you very much for
adding my name about every other breath. Right, quickly, one more message
on the topic before anything else.Hey, uncle Henry L. D Well,
you know, I'm sitting here offtoday because of nine and I'm remembering,

(06:56):
and I Darner ain't forgetting. I'mnot forgetting. Those people came over
here and tried to destroy America. We should have went over there and destroyed
them. We should have went overto Saudi Arabia and vaporize that place into
glass. Because almost every one ofthose killers was from Saudi Arabia. We

(07:20):
should have taught them a lesson,oh kit for tad, Yeah, sure
would, except they used they useda hammer. We're going to use an
atomic bomb. You know what,in this country, you've got to be
strong because there are people that wantto step on you in every instance.
In this globe, we have gotto be strong and to sit back and

(07:43):
do virtually nothing after that was ashame of this country. It was a
shame to the people who died.We should have went over there, so
you know what, we killed thatTaliban leader. I can't even Osama bin
Laden. Wow, that was akick on the dogs, but that's what
that was. We should have wentover there and got the entire dog ld

(08:07):
Thank you for your voicemail. Nowto the topic of Saudi Arabia. There's
a story many of you may havealready seen today. The headline Senate Committee
requests nine to eleven documents to bedeclassified from the Messenger dot com. The
Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations yesterday requestedthe Department of Justice and the FBI provide

(08:33):
unredacted documents regarding the role of SaudiArabia in the nine to eleven attacks and
an explanation on why the information needsto be classified. This is a bipartisan
letter. They've been trying to getthe documents in July and in August,
and the agencies will not respond totheir requests. Uncle Henry Show News Radio

(09:16):
seven ten w nt M. Itis five twenty news headlines in ten minutes.
On the Uncle Henry Show. Comingup, We've got I've got some
shocking, shocking reactions to the Alabamagame. Shock well, maybe not shocking

(09:37):
to me, to you, shockingto me the reactions I found. I
didn't think i'd ever I don't thinkI just never thought i'd get those reactions.
I'll share those with you later, but first I do have some live
callers two five one four seven ninetwo seven two three and number two five
one four seven nine two seven twothree. Hello Color, Hey, young

(10:03):
Cliff, Cliff, you are liveon the radio. Thank god, I'm
still alive. I fell out ofa tree. Oh my goodness. You
you what happened? You? Yougot hurt? You fell out of a
tree? Yeah, I was.I was sawing some limbs, getting ready
for a hurricane. For God,he was a keeper. He keeps his

(10:24):
word. Okay, Hendrick. Thething that was happening with this lady in
New Mexico, these people don't readthe Constitution, they don't read the Declaration
of Independence, they don't read anything. And it's the same thing here that

(10:45):
they're doing is Donald Trump. Thestuff are doing till these people is wrong.
Well, which people are you talkingabout? In New Mexico. They
want to she think the lady thinksthat she can suspend, yes, suspend

(11:05):
the United States Constitution using a healthorder to suspend the constitution. Yes,
yes, a lot. There's noway in there. Well, now,
Cliff, do you I remember doyou remember when people h during the pandemic
were told they couldn't go to churchand uh and we even had I think

(11:28):
it was in Mississippi there was somesheriff's department that went in and tried to
break up outdoor church services or something. To me, now, that to
me is a violation of the Constitution. Yes, yes, a touch and
push. We'll push you and pushyou just like we push it. You
gotta eat you in the office. That's not a president this dude is doing

(11:52):
instead of being here in nine eleven, this guy this chiss and studio.
But in telling us we need tolook to China to show us what to
do. Nobody's seeing anything about that. What well I'm here for is it's

(12:18):
a dumbing down to America. Idon't care if you're black, I don't
care what color he is. Youbetter stop listening to the Democrat Party because
of what's gonna happen to you.You ain't gonna like and it's gonna be
a lot of people that say Itold you so when you can't find a

(12:41):
yeah, blood there and Cliff,I'm glad that you survived the tree incident,
whatever it was, and I hopeyou'll get well soon. Two five
four seven nine two seven two three. It's a telephone number on the Uncle
Ever show. Yeah. We Isaw the news stories about this situation in

(13:01):
New Mexico where they were looking tosuspend the constitution and say that you could
not have a gun because of ahealth of a health emergency due to gun
violence. People were jumping on socialmedia to defend the constitution and at all
I didn't have the same reaction obviouslythat a lot of people did because I

(13:26):
remember what to me seemed like numerousconstitutional To me, the constitution was pretty
much shredded during the pandemic when peoplein lots of places in this country were
told they could not go to church, that they could not even do it

(13:46):
outdoors. I don't know, Iforget what state it was. What state
was it where the you could goto a casino, but you couldn't go
to a church. Do you rememberthat you go gamble, but you couldn't
have a church service. In fact, there was the big showdown where one

(14:07):
church tried to hold services in thecasino. So no, the whole constitution
being subverted, people getting their eyebrowsup and paying full attention because it involved
guns. Constitution was already getting shreddedduring the pandemic when people were told that

(14:28):
they could not go to church, stuff like that, and the government leaning
on lots and lots of social mediaproviders, search engines, things like that
to censure your speech. So theconstitution is how much is it worth these

(14:48):
days? Something worth thinking about onthe anniversary of nine to eleven, since
we had the passage of the PatriotAct not too long after that that really
changed America in a way that hardfor people, I guess born after it
to even understand what it was likebefore it. Anyway, again, two

(15:13):
five one four seven nine two seventwo three is a telephone number on the
Uncliff's show. Two five one fourseven nine two seven two three Email address
Uncle Henry at iHeartMedia dot com.In the next segment of the show,
I will share with you some shocking, shocking messages that came into me after
the Alabama loss to Texas. Inever thought that I would ever get these

(15:37):
kind of messages, but there theyare. I'll share them with you after
the break here on WNTM. Iwill, but just never thought, never
thought that I would encounter those kindof messages about the Alabama crimson time and
the type of criticisms that are beingaimed at the Alabama Crimson Tide. We'll

(16:03):
get to those in a little whilehere on News Radio seventeen wnt M.
Also coming up in the news, there's a story. I think Lenis Lagan
is going to share this story withyou here in the break. Some people
were going to the fast food restaurantin Daftney. Did you see this already

(16:23):
on social media? Because the videois everywhere now. These ladies spotted rats.
They're in the drive through window. They can see the rats looking at
them through the drive through window andthey get pretty good video. They get

(16:44):
good video of rats looking at themfrom the drive through window. Well that
that particular establishment shut down and calledpest control and they get all cleaned up.
But it is it is quite I'meven in some of the worst fast

(17:08):
food places I've ever been in mylife. I've never seen anything like that
before. It's it's hard to imaginehow it got to that point. Anyway,
we'll hear in the upcoming news breakabout the video and the reaction.

(17:32):
I want it made me want WhenI saw the video the first time,
I wondered, I thought, Iwonder if that's somebody's pet rat. Back
after the break on the Uncle AmbryShow, Uncle Henry Show, News Radio

(18:07):
seven ten w nt M, it'sfive thirty five telephone number two five one
four seven nine two seven two three. That's two five one four seven nine
two seven two three. So Alabamaplayed Texas Saturday night, primed any Stadium,

(18:30):
Tuscaloose Alabama. Alabama lost the gameby ten points. It was a
home loss by ten points. Andthe reaction on my voicemail was unlike any
i'd ever. I've never heard thiskind of reaction to a to any any

(18:55):
of these losses during the Saban era. I've never heard anything like this.
I want you now, if you'reif you're sensitive, please know that this
is going to be a rough segment. So if you're a sensitive person,
maybe you should flip over to someof that light garbage that on Light Mix
ninety nine point nine listen to golisten to Journey or something like that.

(19:18):
Oreo Speedwagon's probably playing over there rightnow. You can go listen to that
and feel safe listening to music thatwas popular nineteen eighty. All right,
but this is reality and it's harshreality. Listen to the ridiculous, ridiculous
reactions that came in to the Alabamaloss to Texas. Man, hand,

(19:47):
that wasself an ugly loss tonight,Hand, I do believe dare I say,
saving and lost his age? WhyI knew it was around the corner
when he started making commercials with ducksand participating and woke like political marches.

(20:11):
Henry, I'm wanna say it.We have seen the best of Saban.
What it's just downhill from here. How do you know? How do you
know? I mean, nothing lastsforever good? I know that, But
how do you know this? They'rebad? I mean the shula here's ended

(20:36):
anyway, Henry, I do believewe need to do one loss. Now.
I'll admit the TV commercials they enrageme whenever whenever they whenever they go
to a commercial and Nick Saban's therewith a buffalo or playing checkers with a
duck or something I get really madat that, But how do you know?
It's one game, one game,and now he's he's We've seen the

(21:00):
best of him after one game, nothing laughs, forever good or bad.
I mean, the Shula here's ended, anyway, Henry, I do believe
we need to start eyebowling a replacement. Listen to this, Listen to that
he'll be fired. He'll never befired. What I can't believe out next

(21:23):
year or two, I can't believeanyway, Henry, I apologize for this
horrific voice. It's horrific, butsometimes you just have to call it like
you see it. Well you did, I respect that you are. You
have a good day. You havea better day with the knowledge that you're

(21:45):
wrong. You hope you were wrong, and now you're wrong, feel good
about it that you're wrong. Comeon, there's no gratitude, no gratitude
at all. One game, onegame loss, and then there you are
Nick Saban. We've seen the bestof Saban, and you bring up Mike
Schula is some type of while I'mdown, you want to go ahead.

(22:08):
This is like you've already got meon the ground and I'm handcuffed, and
now you're chasing me. You're tazingmy backside? Is what you're doing with
this? All right? That wasn'tthe only horrible, ridiculous message. Hey,
uncle Henry held whose fault is it? Saban? What? Saban is

(22:33):
too old? He built the placefor this job. There comes a time
and point in your life when youdon't have any more fight in you,
You don't have any more direction andyou this man needs to retire and move
on. And you can say hewas the greatest coach ever, and he
is. He is the greatest coachever. But once you get seventy years
old, the fire and your bellydisappears. That's not true. Having you

(22:59):
know, haven't you watched a Popeyecartoon? I know that's a weird example,
but he still got fire. Hedidn't have the you know what to
replace that quarterback. Why. Maybehe thought he would look bad. I
don't know. Maybe he's actually watchedthe quarterbacks and knows more about them than

(23:21):
you do. Maybe he thought thatit was a white black thing because the
next quarterback was white. But hemade terrible decisions. That quarterback is terrible.
He can't throw, he can't run, he can't do anything. He
should have been replaced at halftime andthen maybe, just maybe we could have

(23:42):
won this game. I don't knowbecause that kid didn't come in. But
I will say this, this fallson Salmon as a coaching decision that went
terribly wrong. Saving is too oldfor the job. Joe Biden is too
old for the job. Oh you'regonna compare it to Joe Biden. What

(24:04):
a disgusting Again, no gratitude forwhat has been built there, no gratitude
at all for what has been builtthere. Now, after one loss by
ten points at home, he's nowJoe Biden. He's gone from being the
greatest of all time. So nowhe's Joe Biden. Now he's Joe Biden.

(24:26):
Go play golf, Go enjoy yourlife. Do you remember, Joe,
Pa. What I remember is peoplecalling in to me fifteen years ago
on this radio station saying exactly thesame thing that you're saying. They were
saying to me that I needed togo and sit on a front porch and
drink lemonade and let a younger manhost talk. I hope Nick Saban does

(24:49):
just like I do and change himselfto the Alabama Crimson Tide. Just a
bite ld the job. Joe Bidenis too old for the job. Go
play golf, Go enjoy your life. Do you remember Joe Pa. Joe

(25:10):
Pa, at seven years old wastoo old for Penn State two damn old.
But Savings better than Joe Pa easily. He started losing game after game
after game. You know why,No direction, no leadership. It's time
for Saving to take a hike.Go enjoy your golf, Go enjoy your

(25:30):
whatever you do in charitable organizations, you will be loved forever. But go
away. You're done. You're tooold, all right. This is sickening,
just sickening to hear the lack ofgratitude and the overreact one loss,
this sitting after three losses, oneten point loss. I guess this is

(25:59):
a tribute in a weird way. This is a tribute to Nick's the excellence
of Nick Saban and that he hasspoiled all these grown men are just so
spoiled. My lord, an,let me see if I can get a
friend, some kind of a friendlierreaction to this game. Well, uncle,

(26:22):
pretty much as I was afeared. There are some refency. Most the
current edition of the Crimson Tide doesthat over feel they'll they'll improve, But
I wasn't very surprised, just tobe perfectly honest with you. Anyhow,

(26:42):
I'll discuss this more with you morelater. I just wanted to test base
with you and give you a rolltide. Reminds you that members very even
dropped a few big ones that inour own backyard in the past, but
off all too awful old time, mister bro tide bro at least you,

(27:07):
at least you threw a roll tideout there, unlike the other the other
fans or I don't know, Idon't know even how to describe hauling in
and trying to throw sabing under thebus when saving paid for the bus.
All right, there is more tocome. The Uncle An Ray Show will

(27:33):
continue after the traffic, the weather, and words from our sponsors Uncle Henry

(27:57):
Show, News Radio seven ten WNTM. It's five fifteen news headlines are coming
up in ten minutes. Still gottime for you to slip a call in
two five one four seven nine twoseven two three. That's two five one
four seven nine two seven two threeemail address Uncle Henry and iHeartMedia dot Com.

(28:25):
In the last segment of the show, I played some outrageous voicemails as
some people claiming to be Alabama fansnow jumping off the bandwagon. After all
these national titles, there's one gamelost, and now people are attacking Nick
Saban saying that he's You heard that. If you were listening, you heard
it. I don't want to repeatit. It was disgusting people talking about

(28:49):
Saban being too old and needs togo retire and play golf. I hope
that Nick Saban here's a lot ofthis because I do. I hope he
hears it and knows he should know. As uncomfortable as it may be to

(29:10):
hear the ungratitude, he should know. All right, let me turn,
let me let me get to somethingmore pleasant. I did get a follow
up message from sixty six year oldChris who he doesn't jump on the bandwagon.
He's a lifelong fan of Alabama. He's lived through the bad times and
the good. He's better at puttingthings in perspective. Bill tied uh and

(29:37):
good blessed Sunday morning to you, brother. Well, I'm doing what I
always do prior to attending church serviceson Sunday, listening to the Uncle Henry
Show podcast from the previous week, and I must say it's been some doozies.
You kind of forget a few things. So therefore you go back and

(29:59):
you go, oh, yeah,I must have been in the bathroom when
when that, when he said that, or when this person called or that
person called. And good therapy, uncle, good therapy, especially after what
transpired yesterday evening. You know what, the sun came up and it is
a beutiful day, I mean beautiful. We're gonna be all right. It's

(30:23):
just one of them deals. Everynow and again, you can drop a
biggie and as I've said before, even Bear lost one every now and again.
But we'll be okay. You'll straightensome things out. Who knows,

(30:45):
they just might could run the tablefrom here, I know right now.
Oh all my friends were texting melike, well, we're gonna lose four
games this year or maybe more andnot well, you know, I guess
that's possible. But the flip sideis possible, wing light, and I
lose another one. So there heapa positive thought. Some of you so

(31:06):
called Bama fans, all right, road tied roping forward the money ro tied
roll. Thank you, sixty sixyear old Chris. He's got the he's
got the life experience. To putthis into perspective. Chris, thank you
for being the fan with the matureperspective on the game. Hello Color,

(31:27):
Hey Uncle Henry L Day. Howyou doing. Look today's nine one one,
and I just want to say thatI remember exactly where I was standing
when I found out. It's along time ago, and I'm still mad.
I'm still mad about this. Welet Saudi Arabia get away with this
all because of their oil and theirmoney. Every one of those every one

(31:51):
of those hijackers were Saudis. Theyweren't our rickies. And maybe, like
I said, I don't know ifyou played that or not, but maybe
a summer Lotta was a leaden leader. But it was a Saudis that did
this to us. And yet wedo nothing, and now we have a
president that can do less than nothing. It just makes me sick on a
day like this where we need tobe honoring people, and that bumb,

(32:15):
that stumble bumb, couldn't even makeit an appearance. You know why he
can't answer a question, Uncle Henry. You couldn't ask him a question unless
it would the answers written down forhim. He can't do it. And
LD hung up. LD obviously justtuning in did not hear the previous segment
of the show. And as Imentioned earlier this hour, LD, you're

(32:39):
talking about Saudi Arabia. There isa Senate subcommittee that I believe it was
yesterday, requested that the Department ofJustice and FBI provide unredacted documents regarding the
role of Saudi Arabia in nine toeleven and an explanation as to why the
information needs to be as fine. This is bipartisan. Senators from both parties

(33:04):
want to know. They have triedto get these documents in July, they
tried to get him in August. They have not heard back from the Department
of Justice or the FBI, andI don't know if they'll who knows,
I don't know if they'll get theinformation. In fact, as as many
people would point out there, it'snow the law that all the JFK stuff

(33:30):
is supposed to be released by now, all of it by law, and
yet numerous presidents, including President Trumpto have decided not to release it against
the law. Although now President Trumpsays he will if he's reelected, he'll

(33:51):
get back, He'll get in thereand release the JFK stuff. But we
may never know what it is.They're trying to hide what is happening here?

(34:21):
These people are bettrap frees up here? What is happening? Two fie
Country Uncle, Henry Show News Radioseven ten w n TM. Gonna check
some voicemail from over the weekend.Voicemail number two five one seven zero six

(34:45):
Bull two five one seven zero sixtwo eighty five five. Hope all as
well with you don't want to thankeverybody that left me a message. If
you still have things you want totell me about, please feel free leave
me a message to five one sevenzero six Bull two five one one seven
zero six two eight five five. Now this may sound repetitious to you,

(35:07):
but I love when we have professionaltruck drivers give us driving instruction, driving
coaching. A lot of coaching isneeded in our country. I noticed this
after watching the Alabama Texas game. There's just a lot of coaching that is
needed. And this is never moreevident than is on the highways of our
country. As many people I'm nottalking about you. Me and you we

(35:29):
know what we're doing, but allthe other people are driving horribly, horribly
on the roads, even on ourinterstates. Here is the mad trucker LD
trying to coach us on how todrive on the interstate. Hey, uncle,
Henry L. D I if Igot to say this till I'm blue
in the face. Yes, andapparently I do. Yes. Listen up,

(35:52):
Yes, listen up, Yes,public service announcement people. Yeah.
The inside lanes of ICE sixty five, when it goes from two lanes to
three lanes, the inside lane, the lane that is closest to the barrier
in the middle. It is forthrough traffic. It is not for you

(36:12):
in mobile going to sarah Land.It is not for you in mobile going
to Chickasaw or vice versa, orsarah Land going to mobile. It is
for through traffic. I am goingthrough the town. I'm not stopping in
mobile. I'm not stopping in saraLand or Chickasaw or any of those plays

(36:34):
that satsuma. I am through traffic. I am in the lane I'm supposed
to be in. So when youget in front of me and you break
check me, the next time Imight hit you. You know why,
because I am through traffic, andit is against the law to break check
at tractor trailer rig You hear me, It is against the law, and

(36:54):
my truck has three cameras on it. It is watching everything I do and
everything you do. So you keepthat in mind. You want to get
me in an accident because you arelate to get to sarah Land, or
you're late from Sara Land to getto Mobile. You're not supposed to be
in that lane. You're not throughtraffic. Get in the right two lanes

(37:15):
and do your thing. Let medo my thing, and the lane that
the federal government, which is anI a self esteem, the federal government
that runs the interstate system says throughtraffic left lane on both sides of that
interstate. Look up at the sign. People, Hey, you'll say it,

(37:38):
Ldves, thank you for the explanation. I'm sure people paid attention to
it more than they would a normalpublic service announcement because you brought such passion
to your explanation of the rules ofthe road. I'm also curious, though
you mentioned. You mentioned how there'scameras on your vehicle, and that it's

(37:59):
against the law to get in frontof you and break check you and all
of that. I'm wondering, isthis Are you seeing more of this?
Ld And the reason I asked thatis because I've noticed over the past couple
of years, more and more TVcommercials with personal injury attorneys, and all
they do is focus on trucks. That's all they focus on is trucks,

(38:23):
and they're making it sound like there'sa great bonanza of cash out there if
all you can do is get hitby a truck. So I'm just curious
if more people are being aggressive towardeighteen wheelers, because certainly eighteen wheelers are

(38:45):
now, They're on TV in everycommercial break on television as some type of
giant piggybank that the skilled attorneys canget on top of and somehow shake money
out of for everybody else on theroad. So just curious about that.
LD. Are you getting more aggressivedriving from people now than you were a

(39:07):
few years ago? Two five oneseven zero six bull two five one seven
zero six two eight five five isthe number to leave a message for the
Uncleaner Show speaking of driving, whichLD was and I was. Here's a
question or a commentary and a questionfrom Beaufort about driving. There says Henry

(39:35):
talking to some friends of mine abouthow many types of animals we have run
over in our years of driving.Yeah, Henry, the reason why we
were talking about that is we alldrive a vehicle in our jobs, and
Henry, I've always had a jobwhere I had to drive some sort of

(39:55):
company vehicle thirty years, Henry Aworking. Every job I ever had was
probably the exception of one that Ican think of it I was issued and
had to drive a company bid alot of miles on the road, Henry.
I wouldn't know prucker or nothing asall in mobile, but Henry had

(40:19):
up to say that armor dialer wasthe animal that I had run over the
most. But he got me tothink him. I'd like to ask LD,
as many miles as he lolled asa professional trucker R critter, has
it been that he has run overthe most in his trucking career Anyway,

(40:39):
Henry, just a thought, youhave a good take different, Thank you.
I think LD did answer that questionnot too long ago, but I
can't remember what his answer was.Yes, that's what's happened to my brain
that previous shows are no longer rightthere at my fingertips, my mental fingertip.

(41:02):
But I think LD's answered that question, and I can't remember. I
remember the answer was kind of asurprise. I'm just gonna I'm gonna have
to go back and listen, butI think he'd I think he did.
Anyway, LD, if you wantto I don't know if I can find
that message or that podcast, soLD if you would care to answer it

(41:22):
again, feel free two five oneseven zero six Bull two five one seven
zero six two eight five five andArmadilla's I see I see quite a few
of them out there, Beauford, see quite a few of them. I'm
sure. Maybe they are maybe they'rethe slowest. Maybe they have the most

(41:45):
difficulty get getting out of the wayon the roads that you're driving on since
you're not doing interstate the way LDis. Anyway, thank you for that
voicemail. Now let me see ifI can slip a real quick one in
before we have to go to break. This came from another trucker, Pops

(42:05):
last I think this was Friday thathe phoned out. It's my thoughts on
the California legalizing the drugs. California, by the way, looking to legalize
LSD and psychedelic mushrooms, and it'sjust like a lot of liberals. The
only reason California wills do that becausethey're not making taxes on it right now,

(42:25):
they won't the tax revenue. That'sjust my humble opinion. Road tide
roadside. I don't know that they'regoing to be selling it as much as
decriminalizing the possession of it, SoI don't know if there's taxes in it,
Pops, not yet. I'm eventually, you're of course right, Eventually

(42:47):
all roads lead back to our wallets. Hey, I gotta take a quick
break and I'll be right back withmore Uncle Henry's Show. Please continue to

M. Uncle Henry Show, NewsRadio seven ten WNTM News headlines in ten

(43:12):
minutes over the weekend. Lots ofsports, lots of college football. We've
talked about the Alabama Crimson Tide, and the first hour of the show didn't
talk about the Jags. And YoungCharlie was there, Young Charlie. How
was the atmosphere at Hancock Whitney studyingfor the first home game of the season.

(43:32):
You know, there was a reallygood crowd in attendance. Everybody seemed
to be having a great time.Ball game was the first half not much
to write home about. Second halfwas pretty good though, yeah, but
a fun place to see a gameis always a fun place to see a
game. But the Jags won. You're you're sin like you're already not wanting

(43:52):
to get into the XS and o's. Just fine with the x's and os
here. I mean, like Isaid, I think the second half played
out a lot better for the Jags. Seven seven at halftime, even though
Southeastern Louisiana, a very good footballteam, is not what we wanted to
see. But the second half SouthAlabama able to come alive, put some
points on the board. Not abad win overall, not a bad.

(44:15):
Are wins bad as long as aslong as you come out of a win
without major injuries? Aren't wins goodgenerally? Have you asked that question to
Nick Saban? Well, no,but you're not Nick Saban, You're working
with the Jags Jaguar Productions. No, I am, But you know there's
a standard you want to set.Every dozen is a w Yeah, but

(44:37):
you know you don't always feel likea team lives up to their potential in
a game. I think that wasthe case in the first half. The
second half once again, phenomenal effort. Colin Lacy, who is a Mobile
native faith Academy. Kid actually hadthe second longest touchdown scored by a Jag
in program history, actually the longestpassing touchdown in program history. He caught

(44:59):
it on get eighty six yards tothe house. Yes, and you know,
the running game looked really, reallygood in spurts. There was one
drive Jags went down the field, burned about five minutes off the clock,
ran sixteen plays in this drive.Fifteen of them were running plays. Wow.
So yeah, you know, prettyimpressive. There were some really big

(45:19):
hits on the defensive side of theball. Coach Wamick pointed it out in
his Coaches Show this morning, Nobig passes down the field until the end
of the game when some second stringguys were getting reps in the secondary.
Yeah. So, you know, the Jags were able to contain there.
But like I said, the firsthalf just didn't go the way we wanted.
And then taking a look at theinjuries that we sustained in this game,

(45:43):
it was a couple more than wewanted. We got a little bit
more beat up. I think thenyou necessarily want to see this early in
the season. And after like noinjuries on third camp, we got a
little touch of the bug around SouthAlabama right now. Ow okay, but
back to the atmosphere. See Isaw TV coverage. It looked like Pete,
We're having a good time. Itlooked like a great atmosphere at Hancock
Whitney. It's such a fun placeto see a game. First off,

(46:06):
you get on campus, everybody's tailgatingout there. Then you get into the
stadium and the game days stuff thatgoes on inside is fantastic. Get second
to none. You get the biglight show in the third quarter, you
get you know, great involvement outof the music, the production teams.
You know, everybody seems to behaving a really nice time in the stands.
And one of the benefits of itbeing right there on campus. And

(46:28):
one thing I don't think we've likegiven enough credit. The students have really
showed out and showed their support forSouth Alabama the past couple of seasons.
I mean, when I went togames at lad granted I was in the
band, I had to be there, but you've reached a point about week
wait about time out, I hadto be there. I loved being there.
I did. I got a scholarshipfor being there. And you know,

(46:50):
I'm a huge football fan being inthe stands for the Jags. I've
never heard a band member. Iwonder if this is when football teams aren't
doing well. Is that the waythe band feels that we have to be
there. We don't necessarily want tobe there. But you wanted to be
there, Yeah I did. Andyou know, but you were saying LAD,
not as many students would go toLAD. Not as many students would
go And I mean you look atit. Hey, it's a long commute

(47:13):
to get down there from the school. There wasn't a lot of available parking
when you got down there. Parkingwas expensive. And let's be honest,
it was not the best football wewere seeing out of the South Alabama squad
at times. So you know, you kind of reached a point most years
where it would peter out on studentsupporter. You know, in game you
wouldn't look up a lot of thetimes, and at halftime LAD would be

(47:36):
emptied out. And LAD was alreadya really big place. Yeah, and
once it starts to empty, itlooks really empty. Absolutely, you don't
get that vibe out of being inHancock Whitney. Really, No, you
don't mean it's a smaller stadium it'sbuilt for a smaller crowd, so even
if people aren't clearing out, itdoesn't look empty or it doesn't look as
empty. And then once again,I mean, it's just a better place

(47:59):
to watch a football game. Okay, I'm glad to hear that. I'm
glad students are showing up and supportingthe Jags at the home stadium. You
talk about these stadiums. I remember, I remember watching on Christmas Eve.
ESPN would show some Bowl game outof Hawaii every Christmas Eve, and I

(48:19):
remember the camera angles. They neverwanted to show the crowd. No,
you don't know because nobody was there. Nobody was there in Hawaii watching the
game except family. And that's thething about a lot of these Bowl games
too. I mean, you know, we're so used to talking about like
the New Year's Six Bowls. Ofcourse, everybody's going to show up when
your team plays in the Rose Bowl. Yeah, But when your team's playing

(48:40):
in the East Stabucchi Bowl, andyou know, your fans don't necessarily want
to travel because you are going toplay as you're six and sixteen, going
to play a five and seven team, Yeah, it's cool to get to
go on the trip it's cool forthe universities, but there's kind of a
weighted value against bowl games at acertain point. You're just kind of playing
an extra game at some point.Yes, but I'm glad. But on

(49:00):
the topic of stadium, so I'mglad, I'm glad that Hancock Whitney looks
good, even if it's not completelyfull, although we hope it's completely full
for all of the remaining home gamesfor the Jags. So a victory even
though people were hurt, even thoughsome guys got banged up, A victory,

(49:21):
and then soccer got a win yesterdaythree zero over you a B and
yeah, it was a good weekand overall for Jag athletics, it's very
very good. Charlie, thank youfor killing some time on the Uncle Henry
Show and promoting the University of SouthAlabama Jag sports programs. Of course,
sunk anytime. And I did tellthe Alabama fence what had to happen to
win, so you know what, they didn't do it not only all right,

(49:45):
fair enough, Well we have totake this. When Alabama plays like
they did, it has to betaken. All right. I'll be back
tomorrow with more Uncle Henry Show. Please stay tuned to news Radio seven ten WNTM
