Thank you Democratic na Wan Brook,Thank you Democratic na Wan Brooke. God
(00:24):
almighty, what is happening to thiscountry? What's happening to my country?
Oh? Loud noises screaming. Oh, you know, I don't know what's
gonna happen. How are we gonnaI don't know if America is going to
survive. This country is whacked outright now every time. But yeah,
(00:50):
look at the state of the country. Oh, because this country is is
whacked out right now. This isin any These people are insane in the
membrane. Yes, indeed, yesthey are. In fact, I'm still
(01:18):
trying to find a way to protectmy membrane from the insane in the membrane.
Folk. If I figure something out, I'll let you know. The
Uncle Henry's show here on news Radioseven ten w N Tim, I appreciate
your listening to the Uncle Henry's Show. I do, I do, I
(01:38):
do because I enjoy having continued employment. Here we are together before there are
a few things I want to mentionhere at the beginning of the show before
I get into a variety of newstopics with you. Let's see Platinum seven
X. I'm trying to remember thisPlatinum seven X. This apparently is a
(02:00):
brand of vodka that I'd never heardof before. I don't know anything about
Platinum seven X vodka. This isnot a commercial for that. This is
just the litter. See. Ilive in midtown Mobile. I am the
quintessential Mobilian and that means that Ilive in Mobile. And one of the
(02:20):
one of the various benefits of livinghere is people throw litter in your yard,
just all kind of new stuff youlearned about. And I've somebody threw
an empty fifth bottle. It wasa fifth sized bottle of Platinum seven X
vodka, just a giant, bigempty fifth fifth vodka bottle in the yard,
(02:50):
and it was it's a beautiful bottle. In fact, I let it
stay in the yard for a coupleof days. I did. I let
the litter stay in my yard fora couple of days because I thought,
maybe may be the people that throwtheir trash out into people's yards of Mobile,
if they see I've already got some, maybe they'll maybe they'll leave me
alone and throw their litter in thenext person's yard or the next person after
(03:15):
that yard, and they'll leave myyard if my yard's already marked with their
their sleeves bag litter. Maybe they'llsay, Okay, well that person's marked,
let me go mark this yard.I don't know how it works.
I don't know if litter is territorial. I don't know how it works.
But again, to whoever threw thatin the yard, thank you. I'm
going to ask around about that brandand see if it's a good brand.
(03:38):
Platinum seven X was the brand ofvodka the litter that was thrown in my
front yard. Now, what isthe most unusual litter I've found? I'm
glad you asked. You know,I've walked the streets of the city of
Mobile for years, trying to remainnot in good physical condition, but just
(04:00):
remain ambulatory. And I've seen awide variety of litter. Lots of beer
cans and little miniatures, empty miniatures, lots of alcohol related litter. Also
a lot of fast food related litter. The most interesting litter that I found
walking around Mobile near a near asmall neighborhood park in midtown. One day
(04:26):
I was walking and I found whatwas these things you used to temporarily heat
up, like if you were togo hunting out in the cold and you
needed something to be temporarily warm, like in your pocket. I found some
of that stuff. I don't knowwhat it's called. And then also I
(04:47):
found leftovers of fake urine where yeah, I didn't know you could buy it,
but apparently you can go places andbuy fake t T. So apparently
somebody had bought fake t T andsome warming agent so they could try to
pass a drug test. So thatthat was really the most educational and interesting
(05:12):
letter that I've ever found, wasthe fake TT, the remnants of fake
TT and the heating element stuff.Anyway, here we are, Uncle Henry
show. One more thing to mentionbefore we get into any news items.
If you'd like the weather people onTV and you want to meet weather men
and weather women and who knows whatelse. Fox ten. Fox ten has
(05:36):
all their meteorologists at the Greers CashSaber on Cottage Hill Road right now.
It's the Greers It's not quite atCottage Hill and University. It's the one
that's in between Cottage Hill and Azaleaand Cottage Hill and University, the Greers
Cash Saber that also has an acehardware inside of it. I go there
(06:00):
now between now and six o'clock. They've got a bunch of their Fox ten
meteorologists there. They've got the outdoorsyJason Smith, and they've got Jennifer Lambers
that does the Studio ten stuff, and they've got the other ones. No
offense to the other ones, Iapologize for not remembering your names. But
(06:23):
Jason Smith, Jennifer Lambers and theother ones are there at the Greers on
Cottage Hill if you just want togo meet a weather person and ask them
fun questions about whether, like whatmakes it rain? What does it mean?
If it's if? If you ifit's raining and the sun is shining,
(06:43):
what does that mean? Does that? You can ask these questions?
What does a cloud? What doesit mean? If I? If I
if a cloud looks like my grandma? What does it mean? You know?
These are the questions you can ask. That's it Greers Cash Save on
Cottage Hill Road until six o'clock thisevening. Well, what can we talk
(07:04):
about now? If you want tobring a news item or a topic or
even a feeling up on the program, or maybe you'd like to tell me
about the most interesting letter you've foundin your yard. Two five one four
seven nine two seven two three isa telephone number two five one four seven
nine two seven two three. There'sa lot of national stories that really got
my attention today. One of themwas testimony once again in Congress. You
(07:30):
had the Attorney General, Merrick Garlandbefore some kind of a committee testifying,
and he is He's asked about awide variety of things. And there's all
kind of clips all over the internetof Congress people, most of them Republicans,
really just getting on too Merrick Garland, just asking him pointed questions.
(07:57):
Let's see one. I'm looking atone website. It say Thomas Massey goes
after Merrick Garland in a blistering exchange. Blah blah blah. What I would
say to you about this is thatI didn't watch it. I didn't watch
(08:18):
it. And the reason I didn'twatch it now I haven't even watched any
of the clips is because Number one, I know he's not going to tell
the truth, because we've seen himnot tell the truth already repeatedly, So
I know he's not going to tellthe truth. And why should I care
if Congress people are are going afterhim in a blistering exchange, because you
(08:45):
know, ultimately all these people thatare asking tough questions will not do a
dad gum thing about it. Butthey put on a show today and they
might get some donations from political donations, but I ain't gonna do nothing about
it. Seven titles, Uncle HenryShow, News Radio seven ten w NTM.
(09:24):
It is five twenty. We havenews headlines coming up in ten minutes
from Fox National News and also LeniseLagonne. Lanise Lagone has news for us
from Fox ten. One of herone of her news stories today, by
(09:45):
the way, is the Craft Ithink is doing a recall on some craft
cheese singles and I say the wordcheese in quotation marks. Have you heard
about this recall that they have athese are the these are this is the
cheese that each slice is individually wrapped. You know, I think about growing
(10:09):
up, we could never afford toindividually wrapped anything. It's true, we
couldn't afford individually wrapped anything when Iwas at Joe. But it's the individually
wrapped slices of cheese. And theysaid they had a problem with the rapping
machine and it left. You canunwrap your cheese slice and they'll still be
a little bit of plastic on it. And they said you could gag,
(10:33):
which is not good or it wouldbe unpleasant that you would have it would
be unpleasant to eat it because itwas I thought, I've never heard of
anything recalled for unpleasantness. Anyway, that story's coming up one of the exciting
stories coming up in ten minutes onthese radio seven ten WNTM two five one
(10:54):
four seven nine two seven two threeis a telephone number, Hello Color Hello,
Yes, okay, I want tocomment on growing Yes, I mean,
the guy is just a total hire. It gives United States, uh,
(11:16):
the image of being a banana republic. Yes, I mean, there's
not a word that comes out ofthe man's mouth that's even halfway the truth,
right, and the way that speaksto America. Uh, it's just
that that we're totally out of controlbecause we've got these politicians that are totally
(11:39):
out of control. Right. Idon't want to live in a Banana Republic.
I don't want my kids, mygrandkids, or my great grandkids to
be Communist because obviously that's their goal. Right. And even more sinister,
we've we've had are vice president declarethat America is overpopulated? What so therefore,
(12:09):
wait, is that is that whywe got the door opened down there?
On the southern border. Yeah, that's what. No, the reason
we got the door open is becausethey're want to kill the middle class people
and the working people. They're killingus financially and physically with their problem vaccines.
(12:31):
Physically, I know, you knowpeople that have been very negatively affected
by the vaccines. Yes, Andmeanwhile, all the people coming in the
country are not screened for anything, and we got all kinds of diseases that
we've never had before. So isthat what we want to live under?
(12:52):
No? And if it's no,which it should be a resounding no,
you gotta come off your kim itselfand call these politicians. You don't have
to threaten them, you just haveto tell them how disgusted you are with
the direction of America right now,and maybe they'll get the message. And
(13:15):
if they don't get the message,we're shot. We're shot because we know
the elections have been bastardized, that'sfor sure, and we know that those
people don't have any problems living, you know, speaking, total lives whatsoever.
(13:35):
So what Garland said today, nota word of it was true.
I'm with you. Look, I'mI'm like, what are we gonna do
about it? What are we gonnado about it? Because everybody's intimidated because
the FBI, which is also totallycorrupt, which, of course Garlands denied.
(13:56):
Everybody's treated equally, Maloney. Everybodyknows, or with a half a
brain noses boloney. I can't understandwhy we're putting up with this. It
is Uh, it is a crisisthat you and I see and it's a
shock that so many other people don'tsee it. Sir boy, I tell
(14:20):
you, well, it's I justhate to see America destroyed. Well,
me too, absolutely, and you'reright, well, it's something. It's
something we all have to ask. What can we do? What can we
do? Because you know, there'sgonna be a victor. Uh, we
(14:43):
have two sides going at each otherquite furiously in this country. One side's
gonna win. Well, the sidethat can cheat the most, obviously,
because that's how they won last time. Of everybody denies that too, Ryan,
But what about the fake watermain breakin Atlanta that everybody ignored, including
(15:07):
the Republicans? Of course, yes, a problem we got. About half
of the Republicans or more are justas screwed up as the Democrats, and
that's what really gives us the problembecause we're gonna elect it. Well,
the real problem is, in myopinion, there's too much money available from
(15:28):
the special interest. Well see thatwas that was you were talking about getting
in touch with politicians and telling themhow you feel. I want to know
how much money do I need togive to be listened to? And that's
a I'm not being facetious, that'sa real Seriously, that's the question to
ask because often I'll see votes andI'll figure out what obviously that vote had
(15:52):
to come from a donor's request. So how much do I have to donate
to get listened Two? Well, the rules have to be changed as far
as limiting the amount of money that'savailable for special interest to dominate and destroy
(16:15):
our country. Yea, So we'vegot to change the rules. And it's
not going to get better because,as I think, with so much money
available, we hire a new orvote for a new round of politicians.
But there's so much money available, they can corrupt just about anybody in a
(16:37):
couple of weeks because they know theycan change the status of their entire family
for about three or four generations. As they start paying playing ball with who's
buying them off now and the peoplewill probably get bought off too, so
we've got to change the rules. All right. Well, sir, I'm
(17:02):
glad you called. You were atherapy for me. Yeah, okay,
Well thanks, I appreciate it,and I just wish people would get more
vocal at their total disgust at theultra lions massively corrupt way that business is
done in our Banana Republic as itis today. Thank you, Thank you
(17:26):
very much for your phone call.Yes, if I want, if I
want people in Congress to listen tome, what is the dollar amount?
I have a feeling that I don'tmake enough money to be heard at this
point. All right, there's moreto come on the Uncle Henry Show after
(17:51):
the news and the traffic and allthat other stuff. Uncle Henry Show,
(18:14):
News Radio seven ten w n tM. Thank you for listening to the
Uncle Henry Show. You'd like tocall the show two five one four seven
nine two seven two three. That'stwo five one four seven nine two seven
two three. Email I address UncleHenry. iHeartMedia dot com. That's Uncle
(18:36):
Henry at iHeartMedia dot com. Ilove this bumper music. I might want
this plate at my wake just forthe viewing. And I don't want people
to I want people to walk bykind of briskly. I don't want people
to linger at the wake. Justtake a quick a quick look at me,
(19:02):
maybe read some of the buttons I'llhave on my lapel, and then
make your way out. Please donot lolligag at my wake. Well,
let's see, we've got so manythings we can talk about on the uncle
and very show real quick. Theman that just called in in the last
segment, that was therapeutic for me. But it was it was like listening
to my own brain. It waslike if my brain could call in.
(19:26):
The man called in was talking abouthis frustration with our country going down the
tubes. And there was a PewResearch Center survey. They do them every
year asking Americans, Hey, whatdo you think? What do you think
of your country? Americans? Andthe Pew Research Center survey has Americans have
(19:52):
unfavorable views of both political parties now, the Republicans of the Democrats four times
as many Americans have unfavorable views ofboth parties today than they did just twenty
years ago. It's an all timehigh. Republicans and Democrats now equally unpopular
(20:17):
and also trust in the government neara seventy year low, with only sixteen
percent of the public saying they trustthe federal government at least most of the
time. Sixteen percent. Now,of course, when you do these kind
of surveys, I'm always quite intriguedby that sixteen percent. I would like
to talk quiz some of those sixteenpercent that really most of the time trust
(20:45):
the federal government. By the way, when they broke it down by age
sixty, people sixty five and oldermore likely to trust the government. And
I guess if you if you needthat government to send you a check,
maybe you're more likely to trust it. I don't know. Again. Two
(21:06):
five one four seven nine two seventwo three is the telephone number on the
Uncle Ember show. Now on othertopics, I want to get to something
a lot more pleasant than the fallof Western civilization and the descent into communism
and anarchy in our country. Letme go to the voicemail. I received
(21:26):
a pleasant voicemail today, bro tryUncle, Uncle another as the politicians ought
to say, Chamber of Commerce Dayin the Mobile region, beautimous, I
must say, Uncle. I wasjust scrolling the Facebook and I sing,
we're honorary captains for the Saturday's Alabamagame versus Old Miss Johnny Musso and Dot
(21:53):
Hunter about that that ought to besomething else, by the way, was
posted by the Bryant Museum on theFacebook R Tide Roll Roll Tide Roll.
Sixty five year old sixty six yearold Chris of West Locksley, thank you
for giving me the update from youscrolling through Facebook. In fact, if
(22:18):
you could make that a regular habitof your day, whenever you see something
interesting on social media, call meand let me know. That will save
me from looking at it, becauseI don't want to look on social media.
And I'll tell you why in amoment. But you mentioned Scott Hunter
of the Alabama Crimson Tide, formerAlabama quarterbacks Scott Hunter, and former television
(22:44):
journalist Scott Hunter here locally now.Scott Hunter someone that I have truly enjoyed
my interactions with him through the years. In fact, he used to call
the Uncle Henry Show every now andagain when I was on in the mornings,
and that caused some jealousy. Fromnow all, I want to be
(23:07):
treated just nice, Scott Hunter. When Scott Hunter called the station, he
gets only respect from you. That'sright, and that's what I want from
you. I want to be treatedjust like Scott Hunter. I'm better.
Look at this guide, Hunter,I'm still faster than Scott Hunter, and
(23:30):
I'm older than Scott Hunter. Yougot it. You got that message deleted?
Yeah, I got that, andI did you know. I've reflected
I've wanted to treat people with thesame respect that I treat Scott Hunter with
it. It's it's hard sometimes tooto be that way, but I'm working
(23:52):
on it. I realize I needto be better and I would like to
treat people more the way that Itreat Scott Hunter, and I can't now.
I can't promise that, but inthe future I will try to treat
all people with the same respect thatI would show Scott Hunter. By the
way, one more thing on ScottHunter before I move on to a different
topic. I think that through theyears my time in Mobile County, in
(24:19):
Baldwin County, Scott Hunter had thestrongest handshake. I don't know how much
you put into handshakes. There havebeen some people that shook my hand.
I don't even want to talk abouthim on the air. Some of these
people have been passed away for years, but even now, years after they
(24:44):
passed away. I don't want todiscredit their memory by reporting on what a
horrible weak handshake they had. Someformer leaders locally no longer with us terrible
handshakes. Scott Hunter had the besthandshake. In fact, at one point
I wondered, do I need togo to a doctor after he shook my
(25:07):
hand? It was so fair,It was such a crushing grip Scott Hunter.
Now, I don't know what it'slike these days, it's been a
few years, but Scott Hunter, that's he had the best handshake. Maybe
Bear Bryant, maybe maybe the Beartaught players how to shake hands properly,
but what a handshake anyway, Thankyou for that voicemail from sixty six year
(25:32):
old Chris voicemail number two five oneseven zero six bull two five one seven
zero six two eighty five five. Now I mentioned that I wished Chris would
look on Facebook and tell me what'sthere, so that I wouldn't have to
go on there. Here's another bitof research that pomped up today. According
(25:53):
to researchers, men who post alot on social media are perceived as less
manly. Then, yes, lessmanly. Researchers found that men who post
a bunch of stuff on Facebook andother social media are seen as attention seeking
(26:15):
and in need of validation and lessmanly. Yes, now, at my
age, I need all the helpI can get, So I'm I may
just stay off social media as muchas I can. Maybe that'll make my
tea level go up. Hello color, say uncle Henry, Hey you are
(26:38):
live on the radio. Are youI'm good? How are you? I'm
good? I can verify what youjust said about Scott Hunter. His handshake
is like none of anybody's I've evershook before. Yes, yes, I
knew it. Yes, I usedto work at the at the Grand Hotel
(27:03):
years ago and he came down therefor he gave a speech at some sporting
some sporting group was down there.Yeah, and uh I have to shake
his hand. And you're absolutely right, his hand is his handshake is definitely
a different a horse of a differentcolor. Yes, well said, I
(27:29):
just wanted to let I just wantedto back you up, that's all.
And hopefully we're gonna beat old mythson Saturday. I hope so me too.
Hey, sure, thank you forroll down, rolland thank you for
backing me up. Young man, hitn't this good. You're getting to hear
men admiring other men's handshakes. It'sAmerica, Uncle Henry Show, News Radio
(28:06):
seven ten WN tim. It's fivefifty news headlines coming up in ten minutes.
We do have a couple of callershanging on here. Hello, caller
Uncle Henry. Yes, sir,he's callers to talk about mama's Okay,
I'm not going to talk about yourmamma's Okay, keep calm, okay,
(28:26):
thank you. I missed my mom. I wish she was still here,
and I missed my mother in law. They have both passed over the years.
I don't know if your mama isstill living or not. She is,
she's still around, Okay, Well, I just wanted to say,
God bless our mothers. Well,God bless her, Yes, God bless
(28:49):
our mothers. And let's keep callinga mother mothers. That's right, because
you only got one mother. True. So I have a good evening,
all right, Well, thank you, sir. I appreciate very much your
phone call. I did see somestory that the British Health whoever's in charge
(29:11):
of healthcare in Britain, they're notgoing to use that word anymore. Yes,
they're not going to use the wordmother because it would I don't know
who it would hurt. I don'tknow why the word mother would somehow be
a hurtful. But they want togo to non gender specific terms. It'll
be replaced by parent. Hello, caller. I have no doubts that they're
(29:33):
going to do away with the wordmother because they probably don't like the word
calling the seat there. They've gota bad taste in their mouth. I'm
there's probably a long list of wordswe need to get ready to say goodbye
too. Yeah, well not here. Sorry, you needn't gonna happen that
gentleman. The call before that wasa very nice thing to say, and
it's a good thing to hear onthe radio. I was calling in to
say, you know, don't anybodylose heart. This is the worst fight
(29:56):
I've ever seen, and it's reallya fight between its Democrat and Republican.
It's not anything. It's a fightbetween the deep state people who are not
elected, who are federal employees,i e. The Irs, Department of
Justice, FBI, and it's mostlythe people that are in the central locations
(30:18):
there in DC that are that way. So if if if anybody who's even
remotely conservative wins on that, whetherit's the Trump de Santis or even Robert
Kennedy Junior, there's going to beuh, there's gonna be held to pay
in the in the central part ofgovernment because they can they can eventually defund
it. They can't fire them becausethey're merit employees. You can't get rid
(30:44):
of them, but you can defundthem to where they're working for free.
And they don't want to do that, so right, and it's also between
that, and that's what it's afight between. Because if any of these
people win, they're they're they're done. Somebody's going to go in and absolutely
absolutely eviscerate the Department of Justice andupper echelon and FBI. Right, I
(31:07):
agree with everything you just said andwould add that also a lot of us,
and some people of course, haveknown it all along, but a
lot of us are now waking upto who's really who's really pulling the strings
just using money to donate to politicalaction committees and politicians and seeing what industries,
(31:30):
what industries and really rich folk areare actually running things. And I
know a lot of people have knownabout it for years. I'm not one
of them. I'm I'm one ofthe people late to the party kind of
realizing who's really running things. Anda lot of it has has to do
with UH big donors, big donors, Yeah yeah, and we uh in
(31:53):
the primaries. It all depends oncan you get donations from these very wealthy
people in order to be one ofthe top three or the top five candidates
in a political primary. A lotof it's Trump because he wasn't He wouldn't,
he wasn't obliged to any of them, right, and so he was
(32:13):
he was an outsider, completely anoutsider, and that's what it took to
go in there and do stuff. And every the very moment he hadn't even
done anything, and they were tryingto impeach him. Oh yeah, with
bizarre How can you try to impeachesomebody when they hadn't been been in office
yet? Well, and I've mentionedit on the air before you could tell.
(32:36):
Before Donald Trump was sworn in,we had giant rallies where they acted
like it was an emergency that hewas elected, so which I could.
It was hard for me to evenunderstand, why is this an emergency?
Somebody didn't vote for wanted, Whyis it now a state of emergency,
but his presidency was reported on bythe media as if it were an active
(33:00):
emergency for a couple of years ina row. Well, we can act
like we don't want to be here, and this is blind dog Mike speaking.
You know, we can act likewe don't want to be here,
but we're put here at this timefor a purpose, true and so and
so we need to fulfill that purposeand be active in everything that we can
that's lawful and legitimate, and dowhat we can to preserve the republic of
(33:25):
this country, to preserve constitution, because that's what it's all about. I'm
with you, I agree with that. All right, you have a blessed
day, Uncle Henry, you two, thank you very much for listen.
Thank you for calling in. Onthat. Yeah, and on that note,
we're out of time for this hourof the Uncle Henrichel coming up after
(33:49):
the top of the hour news,a little bit of Alabama state news.
I want to get into if Ihave time, I'm going to slip in
a mad Trucker message. All ofthat on the way here on News Radio
seven ten wnt M. And remember, if you want to listen to previous
(34:09):
shows, you can find them asa podcast on the iHeartRadio app, or
go to news radio seven ten dotcom and look under podcasts for this show.
This Country is Whacked Out Everything.Yes, it is Uncle Henry Show,
(34:36):
News Radio seven ten wnt M.I'm gonna get some voicemail messages,
but first I want to check arecent news story. This is from this
week. State of Alabama and medicalmarijuana. Now, you may remember that
a few years ago the Alabama legislaturedecided that it would allow some alb Mammians
(35:00):
to use medical marijuana. And Iforget the list of conditions that you would
be able to get medical marijuana for, but it was it was for the
sick, and they tried to makeit real strict. The law was strict.
And the type of medical marijuana,I don't think you could get anything
(35:22):
smokeable. That it would all bethrough pills or or through suppositories or gelatinous
cubes. And no, I'm notmaking that up. You can just you
can look it up yourself if incase you forgot the details. Anyway,
I'm more and more curious about thisbecause for some reason, this state can't
(35:45):
figure out how to do this. Now, other states have done medical marijuana.
You may have noticed. Many otherstates have done it, Alabama can't
figure it out. Now. Here'sa recent report. I believe this is
from w SA in Montgomery TV stationWSFA. They reported yesterday that the Alabama
(36:07):
Medical Cannabis Commission canceled its meeting forthis month because the director says they don't
have anything to talk about because they'rein the middle of multiple lawsuits. So
let's let this is brief. Let'slisten to the WSFA report on how the
state of Alabama just can't move forwardwith this. We don't Apparently we have
(36:29):
a lack of competency in the stateMedical Cannabis Commission has canceled this month's meeting.
The director says the commission needs moretime to discuss or right now has
nothing to discuss as a result ofpending lawsuits. The Commission is in the
midst of fighting those lawsuits or atleast discussing them, all of those having
(36:51):
to do with business licenses and theprocesses involved in that. Political reporter Aaron
Davis joining us in our Capitol studiowith the hold up Aaron well Mark.
They're still trying to figure out thebest way to move forward with those lawsuits.
Companies that are suing the Commission wantmore of a public redo of the
licensing process. In the Medical CannabisCommission, Director John McMillan says, they
(37:13):
just want to move the medical cannabisprocess along all right. Before we hear
his comment, it occurs to me, I'm thinking about this. Companies are
suing because of the licensing process.A bunch of companies want to do this.
They want to do it so badthat they're filing lawsuits. So if
you become a medical marijuana company,is it that lucrative? By the way,
(37:37):
I don't know the answer to this, because I would think that in
Alabama we don't have a population bigenough for it to be that big of
a deal. But then again, who knows. Maybe half the population will
qualify for this, and I don'tknow about it. But is it a
or whoever gets the licenses? Arethey automatically going to be rich? I
(38:01):
mean, are you going to Areyou gonna make that much more? Are
you gonna make that much off yourinvestment if you get one of these licenses
to set up dispensaries things like that? Are you going Is it going to
be like printing money? Is itgoing to be like getting a casino,
because if you get if you're givenpermission to run a casino in a state,
that's pretty much you're printing your ownmoney at that point. Is that
(38:24):
the same here? I'm really curiousabout this. Why else the big lawsuits
unless there's an enormous amount of moneyto be made? All right, anyway,
let's listen talked about the the directorVillin says, they just want to
move the medical cannabis process a law. Right now, Alabama's Medical Cannabis Commission
(38:46):
faces multiple lawsuits. Every state hasgone through these lawsuits, the lawsuit that
pause the Medical Cannabis Commission processes fromcompanies that were denied a license, saying
the commission conduct and I'm sorry here, I'm sorry to pause it again.
But if every state has gone throughthese lawsuits, did we not look at
how they started? Did we notlook at the things that popped up for
(39:10):
other states and try to get aroundit or come up with the process that
would would be easier. Again,I'm sorry to be a backseat driver here.
Business and secret and violations of theAlabama Opens Meeting Act. Let's have
more transparency. Each side had upuntil this week to settle their dispute.
(39:30):
According to the Commission's website, quote, productive dialogue between counsel for the AMCC
and litigance continued Friday, September fifteenth, quote. The Commission later canceled this
week's meeting. We're hopeful that wecan make some headway and begin to get
through some of these obstacles to getthis product out for the patients really really
(39:52):
needed. The new expectation is thatan agreement is made before the Commission's October
twelfth meeting. Somerville hopes it includeit's an outline of a new business license
process. This more in line withthe statutory requirements of For example, you
have to be able to commence cultivationwithin sixty days of getting a license.
If this lawsuit is settled, theCommission faces at least two more Some of
(40:14):
these lawsuits are almost comical. Someof them I think have some legitimate concerns.
Those allegations are symptomatic of the largerproblem, which is everything was done
behind closed doors. Director McMillan wouldn'tconfirm if another round of licensing is an
option, but the conversation has beenminted by the Chairman and lawyers for the
(40:37):
Commission Park Aaron, thank you.The Commission faces three separate lawsuits, again,
all stemming from the business licensing process. Okay, I just wonder why
we could not have avoided all thereis it impossible to avoid the lawsuits.
John McMillan there said that all thestates have faced it. I just just
(40:58):
think that you would be able tolook at how other states have done it,
learn from what they did, andthen come up with a process that
we could go forward with. Butapparently not the case. All right,
Well, callers to the Uncle HenryShow through the years have been calling in
about medical marijuana. Here's a call. I don't know how long ago this
(41:20):
call was made, but this wasabout this topic. Henry, you need
to go down to Montgomery. Youshould have went to Montgomery today and be
an advocate for the miracle the medicalmarijuana issue. You know you got a
(41:40):
few medical problem, Henry. Yeah, and maybe some marijuana would help you
and instead of you taking it takingmedication all the time, maybe that hood
that marijuana hoover help you and youneed to smoke it anyway. I want
to expand your mind. Man,what you know you might have still sat
(42:02):
in the thirties and the farties andthe fifties and the sixties. But it's
different now, Henry, it's new. You know, you need to expand
your mind many Why stop thinking aboutthe good old fifties and sixties down south?
Okay, Oh no, I don'tthink about that. What do you
(42:23):
look? I'm all about the hereand the now. I'm in fact,
I'm my mind is in the twentythirties, twenty forties, and twenty fifties.
It is. Yes, I'm hopingmedically they can improve medicine enough that
I can at least be alive.Maybe you can have my brain in a
jar or something still alive in twentyfifty wouldn't it be fun? Right?
(42:45):
Anyway? I wonder how long howlong do you think it'll be before Alabama
does get its legal medical marijuana forpeople that do need it. Very curious
about that. All right, I'mgonna get to some additional voicemail on the
Uncle Henry Show coming up after thisbreak here on news radio seven ten w

Recently on the program, I've I'vetalked a little bit about TikTok in
that initially I was worried about theChinese app TikTok, worried about it collecting
data on Americans, our bank accountdata or just all of our habits just
(44:15):
being spied on through the TikTok app. But then I changed my tune.
Now I'm more worried about the effectthat TikTok has on the minds of young
Americans, that a lot of stupidpeople use the TikTok app. It's clear,
very clear that a lot of dumbpeople watch TikTok and they see dumb
things like there have been TikTok videosthis year that have urged people to put
(44:39):
borax. Yeah, like twenty MuleTeam Borax to put borax in water and
drink it for their arthritis, which, by the way, do not do
that. Don't do that. It'snot good for it. Please don't ever,
don't drink detergent, don't drink anytype of fabric softener, any type
(45:00):
of bleach, or don't do anythinglike that. But from time to time
people put stuff like that on TikTok. Also just lots of insane stuff on
TikTok. So I figured it wasa way to dumb down the American people
and also steer us in whatever directionthe Chinese would like to steer us.
(45:24):
Now there is a defender of TikTok, somebody that has phoned in to defend
the TikTok. App let's listen togetherto the defender of TikTok. Hey,
uncle Henry ld God. I hateto admit it, but I'll look at
TikTok from time to time. WhenI first started seeing looking at TikTok,
(45:45):
all you basically saw was scantily cladwomen. Is I'm a married man,
so I don't look at that.I want to see somebody scantily clad.
I'll go look at missus LB,which he gets out at the hour.
Well, now we don't know alright, Look, we don't need that kind
of detail about your marital life. Please look congratulations on being married to missus
(46:05):
LD, and congratulations on maintaining themarriage over the course of numerous years,
which is difficult in modern society becauseof things like TikTok making it more difficult.
In congratulations on you wanting to preservethe relationship by not leering at images
of scannily clad women on social media. So I'm glad for all that,
(46:30):
But you do not need to tellus any other details about marital life,
such as people getting out of showersand leering at them. All right,
now, let's continue to listen toLD's defense of the communist Chinese TikTok.
But that being said, Uncle Henry, if you scan it enough after a
(46:52):
while, when you just bypass allthat garbage and Phil, there's some good
stuff on there. Man. I'velearned how to uh set child better.
I've learned how to frame houses better. And the news you get to see
some of the news that you wouldnever know about how bad the Democrats are.
(47:12):
I mean, they're just you're nevergonna see that on a CBS.
You're not gonna see like they showeda truck driver that hauled two hundred and
eighty eight thousand emails from one stateto the other. That's against the law,
and he did it and he knewit was wrong. But you know,
he's just a truck driver. Now, what did the haul? Was
it ballots or mail in ballots orsomething you said, emails. I'm sure
(47:37):
that was a slip of the tongue, perhaps caused by too much viewing of
TikTok. You never see that onthe news. You're never gonna see that.
If they cheat, they do anythingto win. The Democrats are evil
people, and you're never gonna seetheir nasty deeds on CBS, NBC and
all that. But on TikTok youwill. It comes right out at you
(47:59):
so thick. It's not all bad. I mean, there's some filth on
there, but after a while theythey say, it learns what you like.
It knows I don't like that,so I don't get that anymore.
I get up all right. Now, Look, if it learns what you
like, think about the pitiful youngpeople. These pitiful young people that have
not been fully educated. They've gothormonal surges throughout their body, and they
(48:23):
look onto the TikTok and then beforeyou know it, they're constantly getting filth
videos. This is it. Yourlook, your defensive TikTok is not helping.
All right, let's hear the finaldefense of TikTok from ld who's he's
he's learned that democrats are bad bylooking at TikTok okay earns what you like,
(48:45):
it knows. I don't like that, So I don't get that anymore.
I get a how to videos democrats, democrats to misdeeds, and then
just the world news and all that. You know, they're gonna get anything
out of my life. I don'tknow what's on that phone because I don't
have anything linked to it. Butit's all right, Well, we'll have
(49:07):
to agree to disagree on that.I do not want the Chinese providing me
with my news. All right,Look, we've got no time left in
this edition of The Uncle Henry Show. News headlines are coming your way.
Don't forget the Jesse Kelly Show. He's on beginning in the seven o'clock hour

funny in the same half hour.Anyway, that's coming up after seven o'clock
here on news Radio seven to nW n t M. Thank you for
listening to The Uncle Henry Show.
