Speaker 1 (00:26):
Well, the weekend is upon us once again and you're
at home with Garry Salvan. It's ours brought you by
Dumont Global. They have a product called smart Strip Advanced.
It safely removes almost ninety percent of all the codings,
no harmful fumes or dangerous chemicals. And if you're not
sure of what type of coding you're removing, they do
have a test kit that I'll tell you which Dumont
(00:47):
product you'll need for the job. You'll find a smart
Strip at Do It Best and Sherman Williams also at
the website Dumont dumnd globe bolt dot com, and we
thank them for their sponsorship of this hour of the show.
And by the way, the phone lines are open. If
you'd like to go ahead and grab a line. Danie'll
(01:09):
take your call and we'll discuss what you're working on.
The phone number is eight hundred eight two three eight
two five five. You know a lot of times this
time of year, also in the heat of the summer,
we'll talk about the importance of insulation and ventilation. And
I encourage you to get somebody if you got an
(01:33):
attic where you can get up there and find out
how much insulation you have on the floor of that attic,
that's going to be very helpful in driving down your
energy bill, making your home more comfortable, less drafty, quieter.
That's the one thing I always can tell almost immediately
is how much quieter the home is. But if you
(01:53):
get somebody up in the attic, you know, tossing a
yardstick and see the depth of the insulation, and you'll
pretty much be able to figure out whether you need
more or not. This is how if it's fiberglass insulation
or cellulose, figure about two point five per inch of insulation.
(02:17):
And I'm trying to get you the R value about
two point five R value per inch inch of insulation.
Where I'm at, you need about sixteen inches inch of
insulation on your attic floor, according to the Department of Energy.
And where do you find that map? Well, Department of Energy,
or you can go anywhere where they sell insulation. There's
(02:38):
a map right on the insulation bag. You can blow
it in, you can have batting where you lay it in.
Just don't double the vapor barrier. If you got a
vapor barrier down against the top of the ceiling in
the attic or so the floor of the attic well
all the way down. You got a paper or plasting
down insulation on top of that. Don't put batting down.
(03:02):
That has a vapor bear which is a paper wrap,
but just blow it in and just don't blow it in.
Cover up the soffits. But that's the insulation part, and
then the ventilation part. Make sure those soft events are
wide open and moving air in to the attic so
I can move the air out of the ridge of
(03:23):
the attic. Kind of works like a chimney. All right,
let's get back to the phonetains and Steve, welcome.
Speaker 2 (03:31):
How are we doing?
Speaker 1 (03:32):
Gary? Doing fine? Thank you.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
I just had a put a gas grill into my house.
I had a propane grill and switched over to natural gas,
hooked everything up. The gas grill obviously works well, but
it just doesn't get to the same temperature. I mean,
it gets to the same temperature, but doesn't cook as
good as the propein did. So I called manufacturer saying
that I need to test the water column and didn't
(03:58):
know if you knew anything, I.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
Don't know what a water called. The don't know right, Well,
I guess yeah, I don't know. I'd have to look
it up too. I just don't know. I do know,
and you may know this, and there's a different orifice
that used in the grill.
Speaker 2 (04:15):
Right, yeah, No, I did all the recommendations and it
might just be what it is. It might just be
a natural gas cooks different.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
Well it does. So now this is this is very
vague in the back of my brain, but I haven't
a propane tank and a gas grill in the back
of my house, which I've had in this house for
twenty six years. And it was gosh, I don't even
know what propelled it. But anyway, we were looking at
(04:42):
a gas line for something and I thought, oh, that's great,
I can run the I think I'm just going to
run that gas line right to the grill then, and
I you know, I knew, I knewed to change the office.
That was about all I knew. And when I start
looking into it, there was something about the cooking that
was different, whether it doesn't cook, is hot, or there
(05:04):
was something in there, and I decided not to do it.
But I'd have to look up what that why I
made that decision, But there was a difference, and it
kind of surprised me because I couldn't figure out why
we hit good gas, but there was.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
Yeah, they both get to the same temperature. I can
get the five, you know, but it just different.
Speaker 1 (05:28):
So yeah, yeah, I think it does, but I can't
remember why. But I'm going to look that up again too,
because there was. There was definitely a reason that I
said no, because nobody really likes to go have those
tanks filled all the time. Yeah, well, that's of course,
that's the rule of life, right, all right, Steve, I'll
(05:50):
look it up too, and you bet, thanks for the question.
That's that's a good one. There was something a little
bit different about it too. And boy, if you do
have a gas grill, and you probably already know this,
you you don't need me to tell you. But I
had a friend that was getting rid of a gas
grille and he said, you want the tank, and I went, yeah,
(06:12):
So having a backup tank is really cool. Just from
a standpoint, it does seem to always go out right
in the middle when you're cooking. And why is it
that we're going to go on a gas grill, tangent.
I can feel it coming. Why is it that you
can have a propane tank on that gas grill and
(06:32):
it can be on for two months and you will
go out there and you know, start to grill and
you'll say, man, that tank's got to be about running out,
and it runs out that day halfway through the cooking.
It's happened more than once, and it's like, how do
you guess that today's the day? You know, there's different
(06:56):
devices where you can tell how much gas is left
and everything, but it's like numerous times that's happened to me,
where you know, somebody's coming over and I just you know,
didn't have the old tank filled or knew I was
going to have to change it out because now I
got that tank and always have one filled. And I
(07:16):
stand and say, man, that gas tank's about ready to
go out. Sure enough, I'm warming up the grill and
bang it goes out. I gotta switch tanks. So I
don't know a little uh little vision. I guess all right,
And that's another thing to do too. I I don't know,
do you cook out? Do you use your gas grill?
Year round? We were talking with Bruceiaco and he was
(07:39):
talking about the kitchen degreaser. Cleaning out the gas grill
is a really good idea. Now, if you use it
all winter, that's fine, but you know, if you're not, uh,
that's a good fall project too. And one of the
ways I've used all different kinds of products to do it.
And I think the ass gas grill I bought it
(08:01):
was a Weber. I've had a couple of those, and
I think I scaled back the size and it had
a different burner on it too, and I'm trying to
think what the old other one was. I know where
I'm going with this is I find food particles and
different things on the newer grill. It doesn't clean up
as easy as the older grill. But when you do
(08:25):
clean up that gas grill, I still the kitchen de
greaser for the hood, for the side wings of the
grill and stuff, get ridd of oils, greases, food particles
and stuff. It works phenomenal, even the top part. If
you got a stainless steel like Weber, it does a
really really good job. The grating, it does a good job.
(08:47):
But on mine, I don't know, probably don't keep it
as clean as I should. And there's all kinds of
grill cleaners out there. The kitchen to greaser works well too.
But what I've found is I'll take a like a big,
you know, dish tub or a plastic hamper or something,
and I'll just put ammonia in water, nothing else, ammonia
(09:11):
and water, and I'll set those grates in there and
I'll let them sit. I'll let them sit for like
three or four hours. Just ammonia in water outside not
inside your house, and let it sit there. And take
that great out after it's finish, and a little synthetic
scrubber and clean those things off and it cleans it
(09:33):
up really really nice. And then the spot clean it
with the kitchen. The greaser does a great job. And
if if yours is maybe not in the greatest shape
in terms of cleanliness, make sure you know do it
going in the winter. If you're not going to use
it during the wintertime, store get a cover on there
(09:54):

the game, ahead of the game, all right. Our phone

of the are at home with Dary Salivan. Hey, a
quick check on that pro Paine in natural gas and
first of all, bottom lines, taste, no difference. Both fuels
burn clean. Flavor of course comes from the juices and
the food. Environmentally, natural gas burns a bit cleaner, but
(13:26):
both very clean fuels for grilling. Bottom line, choose pro
paine if you want portability and higher heat. Choose natural gas.
If you want low costs, unlimited fuel in a little
bit more convenience, pro pane. It produces more BTU. I
(13:46):
think it's a you cost more bt you you'll need
to refill and swap it out, and it just talks.
It just cooks a little hotter. All right, to the
phones we go, because Jacob's got some input also, Jacob welcome.
Speaker 5 (14:01):
Hey, thank you for having for having a call.
Speaker 1 (14:04):
You're quite welcome.
Speaker 6 (14:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (14:07):
So you had a gentleman on that was talking about
converting his oven from natural gas to propane, and he
was having trouble even after he changed the orifices a grill.
Oh it was a grill, okay, so h oh, shoot,
well that kind of changes it. Well, in that case,
(14:29):
he would just need to go down to his local
hardware store and buy a different regulator because the natural
gas needs to have a higher output compared to a
propane regulator, because the propane regulator would be putting out
about it's it would be measured in inches of water column,
(14:52):
which is ounces per square inch instead of pounds per
square inch. So then would need a bigger regulatory.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
So that's a big help because that's what I didn't
know it's said. And there's something about a water column
which I wasn't familiar with, Jacob, but you obviously are.
And that water column is is in the regulator, and
I know exactly what you mean. The regulator, the hose
and the connection. Is that what their directions were telling
(15:20):
him that I couldn't help him with.
Speaker 5 (15:23):
Yeah, So, because if you buy a barbecuer, unless it
specifically says for natural gas, it's going to have a
brow pay.
Speaker 6 (15:30):
Yeah, it's going to have.
Speaker 5 (15:31):
An internal propane regulator, right, So he would have to
get a regulator to break it down from I'm not
sure how what what the gas line puts out with
natural gas, but I know it's going to be higher
than what the what the barbecue requires, and so that's
probably why the flames are probably like an orangish color,
(15:54):
not yet not.
Speaker 1 (15:55):
Burning full full full juice. Now, one thing I love,
because I didn't know the answer to that, is just
the difference between propane natural gas. Obviously, you're in the industry,
you're gonna say yeah or no, whatever it says. Propane
is a hotter fuel, produces more BT used per cubic
foot grills ten feet up, faster reach, slightly higher temperatures.
(16:17):
Natural gas outputs a little lower B to U, but
still plenty for normal grilling, so it may get Yeah,
all right, we're on the same page. And I'm happy
you called Jacob because I think that's kind of exactly
what he was asking. I was familiar with the orifice
and everything. I didn't know there was a different regulator,
(16:40):
so and I didn't know what a water column is.
In fact, you said it's in the irregular What is
a water column? Can you tell me that?
Speaker 5 (16:49):
Well, I'm not I don't know the science behind it.
The way that it was explained to me in my
training instead of because when we do our pressure test
after we install all, you know, a bunch of piping
on a cabin or somebody's house or something. Uh, the
gauge that we use says inches of water column pounds
per square inch.
Speaker 1 (17:09):
Okay, all right, not pounds per square and jump.
Speaker 5 (17:12):
Sorry, ounces per square inch. So it's a it's a
lower pressure of measurement. Instead of p s I, it's
O s I.
Speaker 1 (17:20):
Okay, I gotcha, gotcha. It's a measuring device. Okay, Jacob,
you've been a big help. Thank you very much.
Speaker 5 (17:30):
Absolutely, you guys have a great.
Speaker 1 (17:32):
Day, all right, thank you. All right. Very interesting. All right,
So obviously the orifice needs to be changed, and the
water column is the regulator and that needs to be
changed also, and even after that change, it would be
significantly improved. It sounds like in terms of the heat,
but remember propane does burn burn a little hotter, warms
(17:53):
up that grill a little faster. But the the the
natural guests is also good for cooking too, just not
quite as hot, but certainly enough for outdoor grilling. I
knew there was something on that, and it goes back
to a decision I made on my personal grill a
(18:15):
number of years ago, and I just after reading that,
I just kind of looked at things and said, you know,
I think I'm gonna stay right where I am with
the propane. Portability is important for some people. I yeah,
I would have liked to have had natural gas unlimited supply,
but after reading that, I kind of just decided to
(18:35):
stay with the propane and be done with it all right.
I had made people yesterday during the show do a pledge,
and the pledge was when the leaves have stopped, and
in my area they have stopped falling for the most part.
There's still something to go for the most part. But
pledge that you will clean out those gutters. A pledge
(18:58):
that you will consider getting something to keep the debris
out of gutters, because if you can't get the water

on this show. We're talking about a product called gutter
brush and what a timely project that is. Right now, Alex,
welcome again.
Speaker 4 (22:51):
Thank you, Gary, thank you very much, thanks for having
gutter brush on. And it is the time, isn't it?
Speaker 1 (22:56):
It is the time, you know. I got a big
scoop for you. You're ready. Yeah, winter's coming. The leaves have fallen,
I'd say eighty percent where I'm at, maybe more where
you're at.
Speaker 4 (23:13):
Well, this year I went up to Vermont, so I'm
in I'm in Rhode Island and it's beautiful. Every year
went up to Vermont and the leaves were a little muted.
I don't know. The weather always affects the colors, but
one thing for sure is they fall.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
Yes, they do. And as beautiful as it is, anything
around your home eventually requires some maintenance and leaves fallen
requires your rake leaves. And one thing that's kind of
out of sight and maybe out of mind to some
people is those leaves fall on your roof and they
(23:51):
end up in your gutter, and sometimes they don't wash.
Speaker 4 (23:54):
Away, and then they cause water to pour over and
damage to features that are expensive like window trim and
all that. And the other thing is is now there's
a time limit for those in the north, because if
you get out there too late, then the leaves are
locked in ice and you can't clean them.
Speaker 1 (24:15):
Well, that's so true. In fact, I made everybody pledge
this year on numerous occasions that no matter what, whether
they putting gutter brush to keep the leaves from clogging
the gutters or they get another something to protect the gutters,
at the very least, you must pledge that you're going
to clean out those gutters. I'm sure you'll agree.
Speaker 4 (24:35):
With that, oh absolutely. And like I said, you know,
there's sort of a built in time clock ticking. Winters
coming and everybody wants to decrease damage to their home.
And this is a good time to buy your gutter
brush and have it there when you clean your gutter.
That is hardly eddy work to just slide three foot
(24:58):
lengths of gutter brush into the gut utter. You fill
the whole gutter, and it's odd sale until November twenty fourth,
Monday the twenty fourth, Gary three zero gets thirty percent
off at gutabrush dot com.
Speaker 1 (25:12):
So and you did just kind of explain it, But
this requires no tools. This requires I guess a ladder,
and if you can't climb a ladder, you're going to
have to find a handyman or somebody that's you know,
decorating houses with Christmas lights is such a big deal
now they could probably slide these brushes in. I mean,
it's a very simple process to install them, and it's
(25:36):
on sale. But what's the expense to protect your whole home?
Speaker 4 (25:41):
Well, we'll jump ahead on that. My house. You know,
some houses have gutters on all four sides, and that
is definitely twice as much as my home, which is
a colonial home, a typical two story colonial, And I
can outfit my house seventy five for two hundred and
eighteen dollars, and that includes delivery. Most people will probably
(26:05):
have to spend two to three hundred, but those with
gutters on four sides would probably spend five to six
hundred because they've got more gutters. And the beautiful thing
about gutter brush is that whoever cleans your gutters can
just slide gutter brush into place, filling the whole gutter
with three foot lengths and you leave it in place
(26:26):
to keep it from clogging. It works so well.
Speaker 1 (26:29):
So how long does a gutter brush last? I mean,
it's a black, it feels like like a plastic brush.
It looks like a bottle brush quite honestly.
Speaker 4 (26:38):
That's what it is. It's a very long lasting, high
quality UV protected bottle brush that sized for all the
gutters out there, six different sizes, and it lasts well
in excess of the ten year material warranty that gutter
brush provides.
Speaker 1 (27:00):
You know, there's all kinds of things, you know as
well as I do. You see all these helmets for gutters.
You see filters for gutters, you see meshes for gutters,
screens from gutter varying in prices. Sometimes you can do
helmets that have cost you four thousand dollars to protect
your gutters on your home. What's the difference from like
(27:23):
screens and meshes that I've seen to the gutter brush.
Speaker 4 (27:27):
Well, so the biggest difference is that all of these
products are linear, So the mesh is attempting to keep
every single speck of debris out of the gutter, and
it's linear by nature. It's shaped and it points to
the outer edge of the gutter. And they're fast and
so what happens is when they get dirty, or sometimes
(27:50):
even when they don't get dirty, the fast rain hits
them and it shoots the water past the gutter, which
is completely different from gutter brush. We believe that when
you try to keep every spec of debris out of
the gutter, you're gotta end up keeping the water out too.
So gutta brush is a great balance. It draws the
(28:11):
water into the gutter, it keeps it from clogging, and
it decreases the work that goes into maintaining gutters immensely.
Speaker 1 (28:20):
And the most basic about the gutter brush is, again
we talked about it being like a bottle brush. There's
these fibers that are sticking up, so the leaves can't
actually get down into the gutter. They get tangled in
the bristles or they blow off the bristles, that there's
no entry point to clog the gutter.
Speaker 4 (28:39):
Correct, So that's exactly right. So you slide gutter brush
into place, and it's the flexible bristles that they slide
underneath the crossbar hangers and they spring back up on
the other side to create a raised bristle profile so
that the debris that drops on it is higher than
(29:00):
the edges of the gutter. It can be blown off
by the wind. Now, sure debris gets stuck in the bristles,
of course it's going to, but it can't clog the gutter.
Individual pieces of debris were never reasons for a gutter clog.
In order for a gutter clog, it needs to clump
together and make a bigger plug that plugs the down
(29:23):
spout or a dam, and that can't happen when a
gutter brush is protecting the whole gutter.
Speaker 1 (29:28):
You said it comes in six sizes. There's different sizes
of gutters. Number one the most popular sized gutter and
number two, how do you measure and make sure you
get the right size gutter brush for the right size gutter?
Speaker 4 (29:44):
So again, it's on sale at www. Gutterbrush dot com
and there's a page there that's called how to Measure
that you can visit and you can match your gutter
up with pictures of gutter brushes that show tape measures
and so forth. The most common size by far is
the five inch k style gutter that accepts our four
(30:07):
and a quarter inch brush for five inch gutters, and
we've got a size for every gutter.
Speaker 1 (30:13):
Yeah, yeah, so you do commercial buildings. Also, you probably
can do gutter brush even on tile roofs.
Speaker 4 (30:21):
Oh yes, you know, so many people these days are
talking about their fortified roofs and their their roof warranties,
and also talking about how some gutter guards a void
the warranty, but not gutter brush. It doesn't touch the roof.
So you can use guttter brush with tile, slate, shingles, metal,
(30:42):
metal buildings, commercial buildings. We've got a brush to solt
clogging in all gutters.
Speaker 1 (30:48):
So how's that work in the winter time? If we
got bristles that and they do stick up about I
don't know, maybe an inch above the gutter. It's how's
it working the winter time when you got snow and
ice and maybe colder temperatures.
Speaker 4 (31:04):
It's funny, Gary, I had an old timer roofer, as
you know, I was a roofer for twenty five years,
and I talked to roofers and he said to me,
I don't use gutter brush for leaves. And I'm like, okay, hey,
and he said, I use it for snow and ice. Really,
he learned years ago that when he had a problem
gutter with ice and snow or ice build up. Usually
(31:25):
that's more of an effect of not enough insulation and
not enough stoppet ventilation. But he learned that he could
stop that ice process by putting gutter brush in because
the snow won't clog the gutter, the gutter will drain better,
and the black bristles absorbed the sunlight and made in
the melting. So it has great winter benefits and you
(31:47):
can see that at gutterbrush dot com. On our winter page.
You can see videos, you can learn a lot. And
of course Gary three zero gets thirty percent off until
November twenty fourth.
Speaker 1 (31:59):
That's money, okay, and that's free shipping also, so I
mean free shipping. Yeah, it's a great deal. That's a
great deal. Well. Also, one of the neat things about
it is gutter brush is a family owned business. It's
also made right here in the USA.
Speaker 4 (32:17):
Correct, It absolutely is made right here in Massachusetts.
Speaker 1 (32:22):
Very good. And is there a war tea on gutter brush?
Speaker 4 (32:28):
There is. Yes. I mentioned earlier that you've got the
ten year material warranty, but it never gets challenged Garry.
I mean, we've been selling gutter brush for twenty one
years and it's been warrant material. Warranty never needs to
get challenged. And also for one year. People have the
peace of mind that if it's not working out for them,
they can give us a call. We troubleshoot it, we
(32:49):
work with it, we make sure it's installed properly, and
they can return it for a full refund.
Speaker 1 (32:55):
Yeah, because there's not much to it in terms of installing.
I keep going back to that. It's kind of one
of those no brainer projects. I mean, if you can
get on a ladder or get someone in a ladder,
I mean a kick can slide the brush into the gutters,
and that's that's truly it. You don't have to cut it,
do you. I Mean it folds into itself, so.
Speaker 4 (33:17):
For twenty one years. That's the point is that it's
so easy and anyone can get the confidence and peace
of mind for having to solve their own problems. And
you can cut it or you can fold it. You
can literally fold it. Just put it in and give
it a quarter of a turn and you don't have
to cut it. But that's the point is that We
(33:39):
don't need to complicate gutters with difficult processes. Anyone who
can install, who can clean a gutter, can install gutter
brush and protect it. And there are forty nine dollars
tryout packs. If you fill a small gutter, you can
test it out. You can watch it for a season,
and people buy a small amount or fifteen feet till
(34:01):
one gutter, and then they come back for more after they.
Speaker 1 (34:04):
Turn it out. Sure, all right, folks, So we're gonna
run out of time. November twenty fourth is the last day.

(34:46):
clean the gutters and they don't put gutter brush in
one of the things, you know, we always talk about
water around the foundation, but you mentioned rotting of softs
and stuff, and that seems as a as a former
roof for Alex, you probably saw wildlife get into attics
because of rotted wood around the gutters.
Speaker 4 (35:06):
Oh yeah, and bugs. Bugs live in the wood when
it's wet. You got to keep your house dry, and
that's why we clean the gutters. Keep the house dry.

Speaker 6 (39:12):
It's got a couple of questions for you. Two subjects.
When the wetting forgives if abotised is using a hose
on spray to put them?
Speaker 4 (39:24):
M hm?
Speaker 6 (39:25):
Can I use a tank and do a twenty by
twenty area instead?
Speaker 4 (39:30):
Sure?
Speaker 1 (39:31):
Sure, they make two different kinds, okay, and they're they're
they're different. Okay, they they are totally different. There's the
one that you were originally speaking of where you connect
a hose to it. It does twenty five hundred square feet,
You turn the hose on and you spray. Then there's
another type of wet and forget it does the same thing,
(39:53):
but it's a concentrate. They cannot be intermixed. The concentrate
is a gallon jug cheaper. It's a concentrate. You mix
it with water, so you mix it right into your
you know, one gallon sprayer or your three gallon tank sprayer.
You just you know, put the concentrate in, add water
(40:14):
and spray away. It works exactly the same.
Speaker 6 (40:19):
Okay. What's to do windows?
Speaker 1 (40:22):
Well, the windows is a different product altogether. So the
two that I just spoke of, they get rid of mold, mildew, algae,
et cetera. For the windows, it's an exterior window and
screen cleaner. It comes in a container where you can
attach a hose to it and spray upper exterior windows
(40:47):
or lower floor interior windows. But that only comes in
a hose in connector. If you want a good glass cleaner,
certainly you can use the You can't use it in
a tank sprayer, but you could use the Jaws glass cleaner.
But the wed and Forget does the screens and exterior
windows and just connected to the hose end connector and
(41:10):
you're good to go.
Speaker 6 (41:12):
Okay. Another question I had was amazing insallation. I got
up and down living areas and the floor between them squeaks.
Can I just break full inslations between them?
Speaker 1 (41:29):
It may well not help. So is this so you
can see the under part of the floor, like in
a basement, you can see the underpart, so foam isn't
going to help you. The squeak is caused by one
of two things. The is it a wood floor or
is it a.
Speaker 6 (41:51):
You know, the upstairs is a wood floor, but the
underside the skywalk.
Speaker 1 (41:59):
The other side drywalls, so you can't really get to
the subfloor. Then correct correct, correct might be blow it in. Yeah,
now the fune won't do it though. It's going to
be one or two things that's causing a squeak, and
we can One is the subfloor that's attaching to the joist,
which you kind of really can't get to because you
(42:21):
got the drywall. When that subfloor starts getting loose, it's
it's usually glued and screwed. Sometimes it's just nailed in glue,
and maybe the glue doesn't get everywhere, and when you
walk on it, it becomes a little loose and you
start getting squeaks. That's one place where wood floor squeak.
(42:45):
The other place is between the wood floor itself. It's
usually put together with tongue and groove, and sometimes that
tongue starts rubbing in that groove and that'll cause weeks now.
Speaker 6 (43:02):
To get group is carpeting on top, but it's got
a subplark flywoid.
Speaker 1 (43:11):
Yeah, so there's carpeting on top. Well, the only way
there is a kit for tightening, and what you have
to do is you have to measure out where the
joyst ares. So what we would do is, once you
have it all marked exactly where the joys are, there
is a screw that can screw through the carpet, through
(43:32):
the wood floor into the joys and then the head
of that snaps off, okay and gets below the carpet,
so you're not gonna step on it or anything along
nose lines. That's the only way you're gonna eliminate that
squeak because it's it's got to be that whole flooring
(43:52):
in substrates loose, and by getting that screwed through that
and into the joys tightens it up. All right, Dennis,
thank you very much. You can find those at the
hardware store of the Big box store. When we come back,
well we just don't know, but we'll have William then
Bob and Dennis and Williams. All right, I got you,
