Yes, mister Wilson, we have arrived for another year.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Did you see the commercial for Bailey's with the chocolate
Bailey's No, I miss that. Yeah, I think they took
off of the solly there and.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
Is that right? Yeah, made chocolate. I knew it. Yep.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Should should have put a trademark on it.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
There you go.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
What can I say?

Speaker 1 (01:18):
What can we say?

Speaker 2 (01:19):
Did you have a great New Year's It was a
quiet New Year's That's a good that's a great New Year's.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
I was reading something about New Year's Eve and how
it's celebrated, and it became very clear to me that
there was definitely a red line that says quiet New Year's.
Roby New Year's Eve. I guess we should be saying, yeah,
I'm in the quiet eve.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Yeah, me too. Yeah, but you know what, I've been
in that for a long time. Can't beat it, really,
you can't.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
Yeah, usually buy New Year's Eve. I'm kind of tucker
down anyway. Well, I say, after all holidays, all phases
of life, by the time New Year's came around, I
was like, none, let's just chill out, Hey, let's just
chill Well, we were all sick for Christmas Day, so
the family got together on New Year's Day.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Okay, I watch little football and to exchange gifts on
New Year's Day. So Christmas, our Christmas was uh sleeping
and just try to heal up a little bit.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
A lot of people I know we're sick over Christmas.
A lot of people I know we're sick.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Christy still sick.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Well, you know, we always talk about it, you know,
once that house gets shut down, and a lot of
times it's you know, viruses and stuff like that. But
a lot of times it's just bad air. I'm serious.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Well, my question for you is this, Yeah, twofold one
is obviously keep changing that filter, get your ducks cleaned out,
Clean your ducks, no matter what kind of quack mark
you have. But you know, those are they what are
they called the blue light? Those micro Yeah, those really,
I mean.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
They really work if you got the problem. But question
is do you have that problem? I don't know. So
what that blue light does is it inhibits mold growth
inside the duckwork. Okay, how in the world do you
get mold inside duckwork?

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Condensation?

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Right, condensation and dust. So if your duckwork is sweating,
or you got a lot of moisture in that duckwork,
and we certainly have organic material, there's dust everywhere, so
are there mold spores? The moisture is the act, that's
what makes everything happen, and then those lights are effective

(03:36):
in prohibiting the mold to grow. So I don't know.
I had one on my duckwork and I didn't really
see the benefit. I didn't feel the benefit, didn't see
the benefit, and somebody put it on for me to try,

(03:58):
and so I didn't pay for it, and I just
you just don't know. I just wasn't really having a problem.
So I don't really And how would you you know,
if they're cleaning the duckwards say, dude, you got mulled
all over this thing. We're gonna sanitize. You might look
into a black light. I might look into that, but

(04:23):
just to have it put on, I kind of In fact,
I was reading another article this week. You know, people
are switching more to give me the data rather than
it's my gut feeling. I can't really remember what the
what the whole spirit of that article was, but it
was generally the whole talk the generation now used to

(04:47):
deal with Google used to do it, deal with you
know AI now and it's data driven and gone other
days where it's a gut feeling. But my gut feeling
was always fairly decent.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Well, you know, in gardening's becoming more of the same way.
More more research, Yeah, scientific research to back up right
processes and procedures and things that you do.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
And give me the data.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Yeah, give me the data.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
No gut feelings, no gut feelings. So I don't know.
But you know what happens in a lot of cases
when we start spending more time indoors. And we've talked
about this in the past. You have houses with basements,
and the polluted air, the damp air, the moldy, the
mildewy basements always have smell. It all settles in the
lowest part of the home. Right, we turn the furnaces

(05:33):
on a month ago, and we stir all that soup
up and we blow it all over the house. And
you know, you may not be sick, but you may
have a bad case of allergies, right and kind of
feel lousy, and paying attention of does your symptoms go away?
Does do you improve when you're not in your house?

(05:56):
Is a good question to ask yourself. I'm not saying
people aren't sick, don't get me wrong. There's certainly people
that are, but sometimes they are very much allergy related
or poor air quality related.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
You know, you talk about easy breathe and those type
of systems, do they help with that as well?

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Yeah, well, anything anything, And it's a big industry right now.
An easy breathe is an air exchanging. It's pulling out
that lower polluted air. It's actually pulling it out of
the house and allowing the cleaner air. The higher up
you go in the house, it's usually cleaner, less polluted,
less heavy. Is then replaced into the basement, and then

(06:37):
the rest of the air is when you're you know,
going in and out of your house and you know,
some of the non doors that aren't really heavily weather stripped,
there's always air infiltration, but it's not much compared to
what it was when we were kids. I mean, you
probably were that kid that walked around, shuffled their feet

(06:59):
on the car but with their socks on and gave
people shocks of absolutely. See you were that kid.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
Oh I was there.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
I know you were. I can't do that too. Actually,
it's hard to do now, Yeah, you know it's hard
to do.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
Actually, when you do that, touch somebody in your shock
them it's a shock because you this doesn't happen anymore.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
That's right. It used to happen all the times.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
That all the time. You just love doing that.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
So our heirs. You know, our house is a little tighter.
It's a little bit more humid inside our house. I'm
not saying it's over the humid. Still plenty drying in
the winter time, but not as dry as it was
when we were kids, when you know, the outdoor humidity
was twenty percent, your indoor humunity was the same. So
there you go. We solved all the problems in the

(07:42):
world today you did.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
What are you gonna talk about today?

Speaker 1 (07:46):
A lot of the same things we talk about, really,
and then of course we got the snow. We got
to talk about the snow. Oh absolutely, ice melders and shovels.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
Ice melders for sure.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
Yeah, baby.
