Why Do We Keep Trying To Increase the Debt Ceiling?

The House version of the bill, Big beautiful Bill. Even
President Trump said he's not happy with everything. I don't know.
Could it be the five trillion added to the debt
and raising the debt ceiling. That's like saying the speed
limits fifty five. Then you go, it's sixty five. No,
it's going to be eighty five. No, it's going to
be one hundred and five. It's gonna be one hundred
and fifty eight. No, you're in dangerous territory with our debt.

And it's funny how conservatives they love the doze cuts, right,
We weren't re all a plauting that. President Trump celebrated, man,
conservative media celebrated, Conservative elected officials celebrated. Even Bill Maher
said cutting waste and fral was a good thing. Then
Republicans in the House and President Trump started promoting five

trillion and additional debt. Is that is that something we
should support them? Asking this question, you're you're telling me
you don't see an issue here. Come on, listen to me. Listen, listen,
good you, big beautiful bill. Cheerleaders, put your pomp poms
down just for a moment and put on a helmet.
We can't go on like this. It's like, okay, what

three thousand dollars a year you knew he made, and
he told you he had eight credit cards of twenty
thousand each maxed out. He's like one hundred and sixty
in the hole, and he convinced somebody to give him
some more credit cards and he can't even afford the
minimum payments on that. And he's six months behind in

his mortgage. And he's like, man, guess what. He's all excited.
You're like, oh, what what happened? Did you work out
some kind of payment system here and you're gonna get
your life in order? Yeah? Well, I took out a
loan at Golden One Credit Union for ninety two thousand.
I'm getting a new truck. I got to take a
trip to the Golden Nugget in Vegas? Could I borrow
some money?

This is a big growth bill. Big growth bill, all

when other Republicans ran and hid, that's a fact. And
let's go back to Senator Ram Paul. He said, this
just shows that they haven't turned around, haven't changed.

We know that this year most of the Republicans, not me,
voted to continue the Biden's spending levels in March. So
we're going to go through September of this year and
the deficit for this year is going to be over
two trillion. If you're borrowing five trillion, that makes me
think you're going to add over two trillion and maybe
two point eight tali in next year.

So it doesn't show me that you've turned around.

Right, I agree with that. I really thought, and didn't
you think. I thought we wouldn't be at Joe Biden's spending.
I thought that was the whole point of it, terraining government.

rallies with Elon Musk, right, Lee Greenwood song just finished,
they talk about President Trump comes out, Then a law
of Musk comes out with a chainsaw and voters applaud.

Remember remember that when it was all we're going to
be cutting, cutting, cutting in that chainsaw out there? Right,
crowd loved it, right, imagine candidate Trump taking the mic
and saying out real loud, when we take back DC,
Republicans are going to increase the federal debt by five trillion.

boot or would they think? Am I hearing right? Most
of these big bills in Washington, they rush them through, right,
it's all mashed together, cram together. Do they really have

time to go back? And now we know they don't

people analyze them. We should expect better. No, I don't
have half a brain. We've seen right now that what
they've done the spending bill, it's like all government spending bills.

There's no spending cuts. It's an actual increase to the deficit.
Doze was all, but let's just use the word. I
guess gutted. Alamma's not happy about it. I think he thought, boy,
we were really gonna save stuff. I thought so too.
I mean I listened to the promos the White House
put out.

He's complete and total endorsement. I will create a government
efficiency Commission task with conducting a complete financial and performance
audit of the entire federal government and making recommendations for
drastic reforms.

As the first order of business, this commission.

Will develop an action plan to totally eliminate fraud and
improper payments within six months.

Yeah, we're gonna add five trillion to the debt. Right,
it's a psycho I know, oh man, people are understanding
how government works. Is there real goal re election?

There are some good things. I'm not gonna be all
cloudy rainy day, even though that sounds good right now
than the cloudy rainy day. But the tax cuts will continue.
But every every one of these things that I say
is a good thing. Why couldn't it have been that
and not had of all the extra gutted spending and
adding to the debt and not cutting back enough to
balance it. Why not? Why couldn't these good things have happened?

I mean, really, really, hey, give us one more term.
We're gonna fix this. We're gonna do it the real time,
we promise. Now, the no taxes onto and overtime. He
had to do that because he campaigned on it and
probably got a lot of people to go that's cool man. Yeah,
I'm going to vote for that. A lot of it's
a bad spinning bill, like most of our spinning bills.

And since we had the White House that sent in
the House, I thought, why are we got to have
a bad spinning bill again? Now? The changes to Medicaid
that makes everybody get out there and scream on the
street where their nose rings. And they're probably teaching credentials
but new work requirements. I like that there are good
things in this that are happening. They're ending that seventy

five hundred dollars credit for buying an electric car and
phasing out a lot of the wind and solar stuff
that they had going on. In forty six billion to
the border wall check. I'm checking these things off as good.
Five billions to border protection facilities, more than six billion
to hire and retain more agents and officers. I look
at that. It is just as important as the military

right now with who could still sneak over. So, yes,
there are good things that are in this, but why
so much still spending and waste.

Look at the spending cuts.

It's complicated because it's a one point five trillion it
sounds like it's enormous number, but it's over ten years,
so it's one hundred and fifty billion a year. They're
also increasing spending for the military and for the border
three hundred billion.

That's actually more than all the.

DOGE cuts that we've found so far. So something doesn't
really add up here. And I can't be on record
as being one who supports increasing the debt by five trillion.

I think that's irresponsible.

I think so many people agree with him but just
went along with it, and they're looking at him as
like he's got the guts to stand up. Guys. You
know that's what the campaigning was about. Why else do
you bring a chainsaw out? Now? Good things have happened.
But again, if it was your money, boop, it is
your money, look at it that way. Take it personally.

Would you keep loaning it out and going more in
debt all red without doing some drastic cutting to the
guy that's buying the new truck and going to the
Golden Nugget casino asking you for a loan. No, if
if you had a say in that, which we all
have a say in how our tax paying money goes

through our elected officials, that many, I think all our Congress.
People in the valley on the Republican side went for
the big beautiful bill, went along with it. Five trillion
added on to that. So how do we believe them
when they say elect us and we're gonna balance the
budget and we're got me. It is just kicking the
can down the road.

In fact, everybody in leadership on the Republican died isay,
wait till after the twenty six elections.

You remember when they said that about Obamacare, electus who

seven and while spending cots. I'm not waiting and I'm
not voting for five trillion in debt to see if
they will keep their promises.

kids aren't naked in the school anymore, and that boys

the bipartisan meet in the middle with. I would not

that he's acting, he's running for governor Republican ticket. I'm
