Speaker 1 (00:00):
Marnie.

Speaker 2 (00:00):
It's Quinny Cantara picks one.

Speaker 1 (00:01):
I'm six, John, You're on with Quinn and Campira.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
John Will said, Hi John, Hello. John's the giver of Raspberry's.

Speaker 4 (00:10):
He's Awards founder coming up Saturday.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
You give out the awards to the worst movies, right, Jo.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Port a Storm.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Def we are the polar opposite of almost all the
other Awards show.

Speaker 4 (00:22):
You're a really fun interview because we get to say
things like Jack Black and Deer Santa just sucked.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
Well, yes, I.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Didn't hate it. I didn't finish it, but I didn't
hate it. The kid was good, right John, the kid
in Dear Santa.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
Yeah, I mean it's not that's the only nomination that
that one has, although Jack Black has a second nomination
for doing a voiceover performance in Borderlands, which is a
Worst Picture.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Nominated Madam Webb, I mean, it's a sure sign when
you get to a movie and you get halfway through
it and you don't watch it, you never finish it,
that it sucked.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Right.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
That's a pretty good, pretty good temperature gauge.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Well, yeah, that's one of the two that was most
widely pouted as being a likely Razzi nominee. When it
first came out. Yeah, that thing lost a lot of
money and pretty much killed off the whole idea of
making secondary Spider Man characters, villains and cohorts into a

(01:22):
franchise that's now dead.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
And the other, the other big one everyone was expecting
us to nominate and we did, is Joker Fully Adu,
which follows up the Oscar winning Walking Phoenix Joker movie
with a musical. Not only a musical, a musical set
in a courtroom.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
Is this the worst follow up to a hit movie ever?

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Well, it's almost like they went out of their way
to aggravate everyone who liked the first movie. If you're
going to do a musical, I suppose it makes sense
to cast Lady Gaga as the secondary character. But if
you're going to do a Joker musical, go for it.
Go to the wall, you know, straight out, flat out

(02:07):
big musical numbers, lots of you know, costumes, do it.
Don't continue in a drab mode and you know, try
to build a story around it where there are people
committing suicide.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
And you are so right.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
I mean, it just didn't work.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Yeah, it was tough, it works, as John Wilson.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
Finally, there's got to be a special place on your
shelf for Megalopolis.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Right, That's that's an interesting case. Francis bort Coppola, who
clearly knows how to make a good movie. He's made
a bunch of them. He wrote it, he directed it,
he produced it, and he's the one who lost all
the money from it. He apparently had wanted to get
it made for twenty years and was told by everyone

(02:56):
in the business with money to lend to it, don't
do this, And for once, the money people were right.
And it's actually kind of bad because you know he's
getting up there and he may not be able to
make another movie.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Ironically, I can't wait to watch it.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
It is, I have to say it. They's visually fascinating,
dramatically discomboxed, but it has messed it really. You know,
he did get somebody really good to do his visual effects.
He also bought somebody who was out of their mind
to do the casting. Because the cast in that is
just like John Voyd in that movie and in Reagan

(03:35):
just wow.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
Hate John.

Speaker 4 (03:38):
I know, I know we're running tight on time. I
want to leave room for your raspberry. But as far
as as far as the worst actor I hate that
Jerry Seinfeld could win it because we know he's not
an actor going into it.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
You know what we knew he wasn't an actor?

Speaker 1 (03:53):
Was as should he?

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Okay? Oh, fair, fair enough? And who's the all time
zz he nominees it still Adam Sandler?

Speaker 1 (04:02):
No, actually, Sandler is about to catch up with the
all time Razzie champion, who is Sylvester Stallone. Well last year,
well done.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
John, some solid work.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
John us out John, alright, back off from your headphones.
Here we go.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
The founder of the raz Picks one of us
