(00:00):
This is Dan capless and welcome totoday's online podcast edition of The Dan Caplis
Show. Please be sure to giveus a five star rating if you'd be
so kind, and to subscribe, download, and listen to the show every
single day on your favorite podcast platform. The Truth will Prevail and it led
to one of the most enjoyable eveningsof my lifetime because the debate itself,
(00:23):
right, I mean, you knewright from the jump it was going to
be a great night. And Isee, Ryan, you got a text
on your great earlier show. Whatdo you think life was like in Dan
Kaplis's house after the debate? BecauseI said, yesterday my wife and I
were going to watch on separate floor. She was going to be in our
bedroom, the kitchen, middle levelwould be empty, and then I'd be
in the cave. And it wasmaybe three minutes into the debate, three
(00:48):
minutes into the debate when she textedme and said it's over. Wow,
and listen. She despises Trump withthe passion I think he's one of the
greatest presidents we've ever had on policy. See, but yeah, three minutes
into the debate she texts me it'sover. So the rest of the debate
was fun. We actually got toget together during the debate and kind of
hang out. Really yeah, becauseit was clearly after three minutes. I
(01:11):
mean, my wife is an extraordinarilysmart, reasonable person, and it was
obvious after three minutes that as muchas she despises Trump, Joe Biden cannot
be president of the United States. So we had a really delightful evening together
watching the debate, and then Iwatched the post game alone and it was
you know, I taped MSNBC andI watched CNN, then I watched all
(01:34):
of MSNBC because it was so enjoyablebecause look at the reality is the left
lies. The left lies through theirteeth. They lie in their sleep,
they lie when they're dreaming, theylie when they get up, they lie
all day, they lie all night, and the left media just lies.
And to watch them last night,to watch them last night have to come
(01:57):
clean and admit. It was oneof those really rich moments and very good
for America, right, very goodfor America. I believe that all of
us make mistakes, all of uscan fix our mistakes. Maybe some of
the Left will start to fix theirmistakes. But also part of this goes
back to what I've been talking aboutfor a very long time on this show,
which and leading up to the debate. Ryan, I think it proved
(02:20):
a number of my points. Butby the way, where are my tomahawks?
I thought there'd be a little girlsset up in hear the flyer at
fire would be raging, there'd betwo or three tomahawks on there. Because
we've been betting for a long timethat Doug been betting a tomahawk that Jim
Biden will not be the nominee.Been saying that for over a year.
But I've also been telling you leadingup to the debate, Hey, Tapper
and Bash would be relatively fair becausea lot of reasons, but one of
(02:46):
them is CNN wants Biden out,MSNBC wants Biden out. The left wants
Biden out, and they've wanted himout for some time, so they were
all ready to pounce last night. They were all ready to pounce if Biden
flopped, which he did. Andthen we'll talk about Trump, who I
think rose to the occasion, hadremarkable discipline, and I give him an
(03:08):
a plus for discipline, a plusfor immigration answers are very very strong abortion
answers, we go down the list. Could he have done better in some
areas, sure, but you knowwhat, none of us are ever perfect.
I think he had a tremendous performancelast night, but obviously Biden flopped,
and so the left was ready topounce. I don't think that was
(03:28):
spontaneous last night, Ryan. Idon't think they just thought, oh my
goodness, this is so bad,and then we've got all these genuine reactions
to the horror. I think theywere ready to pounce because they want him
gone. Let me give you,I'd say, exhibit A. Jen Saki
has been so intellectually dishonest and soarrogant and so dismissive of those critical of
(03:50):
Biden and of conservatives, while allalong she was waiting for just the right
moment to get rid of him.By the way, check out my twitter
at dan Kaplis have this great littlegraphic of the vultures circling Joe Biden,
and it's a lot of fun. That's at dan Kaplis. Here's Jen Saki.
Well, I've been listening to whatyou all have been saying, and
(04:11):
I don't think we should sugarcoat this. This was not the debate performance that
the Biden campaign team wanted or neededfrom this debate, in part because they
wanted to do this debate as earlyas they did to change this up right,
to bring the Joe Biden who isat the State of the Union to
the debate stage. That's not theJoe Biden who should about the debate stage.
Yeah, and there are so manydifferent indications of what's going on,
(04:35):
and it was planned. They wereready for this. CNN actually fact checking
Joe Biden and pretty aggressively, andthey could have done even more than this.
He said he's the only president ina while who didn't have any troops
dying anywhere in the world. Troopshave, of course, died on his
watch. He said he's put ina fifteen dollars per shot cap on insulin
and Medicare is a thirty five dollarsa month cap. He said, it's
(04:57):
a two hundred dollars cap on overalldrug spending in Medicare, it's two thousand
dollars a year. He said theborder now has fewer crossings than when Trump
was in office. That's generally nottrue, he said, or at least
strongly suggested. Unemployment was that fifteenpercent when he took office, it was
actually six point four. He said, Trump's want Trump wants to get rid
of Social Security. Trump doesn't.He said billionaires pay eight point two percent
in taxes. It's much higher. He said Trump told Americans to inject bleach
(05:19):
amid COVID. We know Trump madefoolish comments about scientists studying disinfectant injection,
but didn't frame it as advice topeople. And Biden said the Border Patrol
endorsed him. No, it's unionsupported the border bill he'd supported, never
endorsed him himself. Yeah, Andhe didn't even get to the six handicap,
right, He didn't even get toBiden claiming, And if you don't
know golf, a six handicap meansbasically you usually shoot six over power.
(05:43):
Biden, from the swing I've seenis probably six over power on every hole.
So they didn't even get to thesix handicap. And then Chris Wallace,
Chris Wallace, who did a tremendousdisservice to America when he moderated a
presidential debate last time around and openlyaggressively covered for Biden and tried to defeat
Trump himself. Even Chris Wallace hadto admit this last night. But what
(06:06):
accounts for someone with so much experience, doing so much preparation, and this
the outcome. Honestly, I thinkthe question answers itself. He wasn't capable
of doing any better than he did, had he prepared to not go over
the two minutes that he was incapabletonight on the biggest of stages that he
(06:27):
sawt he in effect dictated, andwith all of that preparation, he was
incapable of doing better than he was. And you can't come back from that.
You can't be on a stage wheretens of millions of Americans watched you
and come up empty. And that'swhat he did tonight. Boy, that
is so true. And listen, there are those who saying, but you
know what, the Democrats don't havea choice. It's all up to Biden.
(06:47):
They can't get rid of Biden.Oh yes, they can get rid
of Biden. And I'm going tobreak that down the very concrete, specific
ways they can and will get ridof Biden. As I said going into
the debate, you know, ifBiden had a good night, and they
have always been able to get himbetter than expected, but they couldn't this
time, which just tells you howrapid the decline is. If Biden had
(07:11):
a good night, you know,he'd get replaced, probably just before the
convention or at the convention. Ifhe had a night like last night,
it will happen much sooner. Andit is going to happen much sooner now.
So we'll talk about the mechanics ofthat, how that can actually play
out if Biden is not willing togo. And here's a question for you
as we head into the next break, do you want Biden to stay or
(07:34):
go? More particularly if you're likeme and you really want Trump to win
for the good of America, Well, do you want Biden to stay the
nominee or do you want him tobe replaced? State five five four zero
five eight two five five the numberyou can text d an five seven seven
three nine, And as I tweetedtoday, you can see it at Dan
(07:56):
Kaplis. Know if you listen tothe show, then you've for over a
year that Joe Biden's not going tobe the nominee. But we really need
to focus today on the twenty fifthAmendment because America, you, your family,
your neighbors, all of us arein more danger in America right now
than any time since the Cuban missilecrisis, because evil in the world Gee
(08:18):
putin Kim Jong Oun, et cetera. The Ietolas, Evil in the world
saw that last night too, andthey know they have two hundred and six
point five days, two hundred andsix point five days to impose their will
on the world before Joe Biden isout of office, which makes this the
(08:39):
most dangerous time since the Cuban missilecrisis. So you tell me this as
well, d A N five sevenseven three nine. Should the twenty fifth
Amendment be invoked? You're on theDan Kapla Show, and now back to
the Dan Kaplas Show podcast. Itoo, was on the phone throughout much
of the debate with Obama world peoplewith Democrats, with people who are political
(09:05):
operatives, with campaign operatives. Myphone really never stopped buzzing throughout, and
the universal reaction was somewhere approaching panic. The people who were texting with me
were very concerned about President Biden seemingextremely feeble, seeming extremely weak, and
(09:28):
that is Jory read how fun thatwas to watch last night. Now,
I have one humble request for youtoday. Let's not make this show about
me? Okay, Ryan, canwe agree on that this show should not
be about me? Now? Iunderstand I've been taking tremendous abuse on this
show for over a year saying waita second, I don't even want to
discuss any scenario that has Joe Bidenas the Democrat nominee because it's fantasy,
(09:48):
it's nonsense, it's not going tohappen. And so, as much as
I appreciate your interest in calling andtexting to say, boy Dan, you
were right, let's just make thisabout something other than me today. Eight
five five four zero five eight twofive five the number I would just like
to note for the record, youknow, almost a thirty year track record
(10:09):
on air, phenomenal batting average, that that's not meant to self credify.
It's just meant to make the pointthat inn that I I am useful to
you. I know how this stuffworks. Now. The big downside of
listening to this show is it takesthe suspense out of things, right,
Yeah, because you've known for overa year now that this day was coming
(10:30):
and Biden would not be the nominee. By the way, it is short
of Joe Biden making the public announcement. It just officially ended. Within the
last twenty seconds. New York Timeseditorial board has called for Biden to leave.
Wow, that's it. That's that. Now to ends that a couple
things. Yeah, I've never feltworse about my bet with you than I
did after watching that last night, and Kelly was consoling me. But point
(10:52):
two, you can't spike the footballyet. You haven't scored the touchdown.
You're not in the end zone quiteyet. It's not there, hasn't happened,
still has to happen. I donot concede. Did you see listening?
I did? Oh, okay,I did? Okay? All right?
Then you know denial is not justa river in Egypt. Just to
thought, I'm going to l gomy way through just a river in Egypt.
Let's go to a truly great American, that is Colonel kirk Dale and
(11:16):
Parker, Colorado. Colonel welcome tothe Dan Kapla show. Well, thank
you very much, sir. I'llgo to respond. You had mentioned a
couple of weeks ago to possibly givea call in the day after the debate
off. Yes, sir, yes, sir, thank you. What are
you thinking? I think it wasTrumpeter's best. I worried that I could
be fair with in the minutes rightat the first when I was questioning my
(11:43):
own judgment. Was Biden as mucha disaster as I was seeing it was?
Trump was totally on point as Iwas hearing the appearance of the two
right it to start was a startcontrast. Yes, Biden shuffled out looking
salo and dull. Trump's complexion andthe air and gait were just excellent.
(12:07):
On the moderator's total surprise. Ithink Keeper and Bush we are bash were
totally uh, the best we've seenon any network, and they could have
not been any fair or well framingin their questions. That's really impressed me.
(12:35):
It's quite a deal. And withthen the excuse that's right when they
got in to debate, I tolook back when I did exactly what a
presidential debate is intended to do.It rarely bared the weaknesses and strengths by
(12:58):
allowing and not interrupting either candidate, was disruptive personal moderator inputs. That was
good. I thought some of Trump'scomments about how bad a job Biden had
done just surprised Biden, as ifhe had never heard any criticism on any
(13:20):
of these points. I thought thatTrump was able to ship his lip when
it needed these. It was. There was that one point when Biden was
trying to make comments on the borderand he got so bald up he said
(13:48):
I and Trump, trying to respondit to it, said I don't know
what he said. I don't thinkhe knew what he said. And Colonel,
let me ask you this question.I'm going to go play that sound
and do you think the twenty fifthAmendment should be invoked? And it's a
question we're about to get to alot of other callers on as well,
But do you think at this pointhe should be removed from office by his
(14:11):
cabinet and the vice president and notthen confirmed by Congress. Academically, I
would say absolutely it should be invoked. Personally, I would love to be
able to see and stay in thereand get absolutely crowds. Colonel, appreciate
the call, Thank you, myfriend. The total initiative relative to what
(14:33):
we're going to do with more borderpatrol and more President Trump, I really
don't know what he said at theend of this, and I don't think
he knows what he said either.Look, we had the safest border in
the history of our country. Theboard. All he had to do was
leave it. All he had todo is leave it. And that's what
the Colonel was referring to. Andas I predicted over and over again,
(14:54):
took a lot of abuse for it. Bash and Tapper were much more fair
than we've seen before. And Ithink the reason and for that, in
addition to self interest, was CNNwants Biden out. The left wants Biden
out, and they did before lastnight, and now they're pouncing on his
failure. And if you just joinedus other than Biden making the formal announcement,
it's all but over. New YorkTimes editorial board just a short time
(15:16):
ago call for him to leave therace. He cannot overcome that. Carly
and Hiland's ranch Welcome to the show, Hi, Dan, I concur with
the colonel. Half of me wantshim to stay in the other half for
the country, I think the twentyfifth Amendment should be invoked. Like now,
which half's going to win? Pardonme, which half of you is
(15:39):
going to win this? Russell,I don't know which is lad for your
tests. Yeah, I also wantedto say during the time, may I
make a suggestion it should be invoked, even though it would make it tougher
for Trump to win. The twentyfifth Amendment should be invoked because we're all
in danger every day. He's inthe White House more day, and I
think Trump can take anybody that they'dwant to offer. I really do.
(16:00):
I think he was so good lastnight. I give him an a President
Trump. But I also want tosay, I think Bash and Tapper they
had to revamp their questions somewhat becauseof what happened earlier in the week on
CNN when that whenever she is cutoff, President Trump's all interesting, interesting,
you know, we said at thetime, Yeah, that would make
(16:22):
it even harder for them to gorough on him. Great point there,
Carly, and that same anchor, that same anchor, Katie her who had
cut off the Trump's Casey Hunt thankyou, had cut off the Trump spokeswoman,
as you know last night, wascalling for Biden to leave the race,
and well, if not that shewas highly critical of him, highly
Hi. I agree with you.I do think the twenty fifth Amendment shick
(16:45):
because this is for the good ofthis century, and I have no fear
of anyone they would put up againstPresident Trump. He was like a bull
walking on that stage last night?Does he beat Michelle Obama? Yep,
okay, okay. I hope you'reright. Obama is not going to run.
Dan Hey, check out at DanCaplis on Twitter, Carly and send
it to all your friends. Thankyou, lineser Jam, I want to
get everybody on music. We'll justpay a bill here and come back to
(17:10):
our fiery lines. If you've onCarly's line, it's eight five five four
zero five eight two five five thenumber you can text Dan da N five
seven seven three nine. And thenext segment as well, we'll work in
a drop with Dick Adams, whohas seen a lot. I doubt he's
ever seen anything like last night. You're on the Dankpla Show. You're listening
(17:37):
to the Dan Kaplas Show podcast. You answered every question Joe Biden at the
post rally, you answered every question. It was literally people have said kindergarten.
No. It was like a prek kid coming home right and they've
got this stuff. It's all overthe piece of paper and you can't you
(17:59):
know, like somebody had a strokeor something and you just say, wow,
you stayed within the lines. Imean, wow, Joe, you
answered every question. You answered everyquestion eight five five were zero five eight
two five five the number? Hey, uh, if you just joined us,
it's officially all over now except Bidenmaking the formal announcement New York Times
(18:21):
editorial board calling on Biden to dropout. He cannot overcome that donors will
follow that not each and every donor, but the donors will drive him out
of the race if nothing else. The one that's not going to Dan,
it's the question I have for you. And the person you just played is
doctor Jill Biden Evil? Is shea bad person? Oh? We can't
say that because listen, if she'sthe one keeping him in this race,
(18:45):
yes, I wouldn't say evil.I would say she's an abuser. Yes,
if she's the one keeping him inthe race. But we can't know
that. This could be Biden himself. Biden has always been so incredibly self
centered, so insecure, so angry, and and so this could all be
Joe Biden, and she could justbe trying to stand by her man,
(19:10):
no matter how deranged he is.So yeah, what's he talking about me?
No? I want David, I'mnot going to another caller, David,
were you talking about me? Let'splay Congress. By the first two
years you had a run out ofObama had to run out of the first
(19:30):
two years David spend on Obamacare.Hey, David Trump did his first two
years, which is big David.Sorry to call you while you're busy,
but yeah, yeah, let's listenin. This could be interesting. Hey
David, you're talking about me?Is he on another show? Is the
(19:52):
two shows? He couldn't be.There's not another show on that talks about
this stuff. I'm not locally,You're right, but I mean he's talking
to some buddy. Yeah, yeah, but but he couldn't have used the
S word on any other show.So I think he's I think he's talking
to a friend. LeAnn in Denver. You're on the Dane Caapitlo Show,
and Dick Wadhams join us at somepoint, we hope here as well.
Hey Lenn, how you doing?Hi? Good? Thank you? Dan.
(20:15):
I so far I still disagree withyou, and I'll tell you why.
For one thing, I think thatthe left agenda that's managing everything has
a certain thing that they want Bidento fulfill, and so he does that
for them. And so the otherthing is I do agree with Ryan that
it hasn't happened yet and he wouldhave to withdraw, and as I understand
(20:37):
it, as an MVY, doesn'tthen at the with the delegates, there's
four thousand, and he needs atleast there needs to be at least two
thousand who decide they want to putsomebody else in there. It's really not
that easy to do, and soI don't. I won't believe it until
I see it, and I'm stillI still don't think it'll happen. And
(21:00):
if I'm wrong, I'll do aMaya Coppa and call back and say,
boy, was I wrong. Itis incredibly, incredibly easy to do Lynn.
It's easier. I've got a pieceof peanut butter and apple here and
I'm going to eat it during thebreak, and that will be easier to
accomplish than getting Biden out of thisrace. I don't know why everybody makes
this out to be so hard. What's what's so hard about it? He
(21:23):
can't move. Here's what it lookslike what we're watching unfold. My lord.
I feel like I'm in the twilightzone. I spent the last year
saying, Okay, Biden's not goingto be the nominee. Clearly now he's
not. The entire left, almostthe entire publicly turned down him last night.
The New York Times editorial board minutesago called for him to leave.
(21:45):
And you still think he's going tobe the nominee. So if I was
willing to answer a question with thequestion, I would flip it on you
and say, well, explain tome, what does it look like if
he stays. But here's you askeda fair question. Here's what it looks
like if he leaves. Okay, what it's going to come down to is
he is going to voluntarily leave. And if sitting here today he doesn't want
(22:06):
to voluntarily leave, he will bemade to want to voluntarily leave. And
it will be either delegates, no, we will never even get close to
that. It will be first ofall, it will be what we've already
seen. That's the critical first step, the left turning against him. And
remember, the most valuable arm ofthe left is not these billionaire donors,
(22:27):
it's the media. The media hasnow turned on him, lock, Stock,
and Barrel. He cannot win withoutthe media. He's been mortally wounded
by the media at this point.Even if they all become Jock sniffers again
tomorrow. So number one the media. Number two the donors. Next step
is the media starts to unleash thestories they should have been reporting for years
(22:52):
about his corruption, and he willleave long before then because he's such a
selfish little man. Alway's ever caredabout is his miserable legacy, and his
legacy right now will be thoroughly destroyedby the media if he insists on hanging
on. What does Ryan say? What does Ryan say? This is like?
(23:14):
This is like okay, Joe,Joe, listen, you can't throw
rocks through windows? What does momsay? No? Because you're I'm just
curious because I know that he I'msaying, I'm in camp. I'm in
camp Brian right now where we'll seeit hasn't happened, and it is fascinating
me. Link. Can you holdon because I do want to continue the
conversation, if you would, pleasehold on. I don't want to cut
(23:37):
that shirt because I'm fascinated. I'mfascinated by a mindset that could be ignoring
everything that's going on and somehow thinkingthat Biden will hold on. Whether it's
Ryding's mindset or yours, it's likewhen Tim Tebow Dick Wadams remember this remembers
this welcome Dick. Remember Tim Tebow'squarterback. And he was succeeding at a
historic level for a young quarterback, let alone one. It's a bad team.
(24:00):
And all these experts who had saidTebow will be an NFL failure kept
insisting he was failing. Even hewas winning. Even after he beat Pittsburgh
in a monumental playoff game against thebest defense in the NFL, the experts
were still saying he could not bean NFL quarterback. I feel like we're
in one of those moments right now. Hi, Dick. Wow, that's
(24:23):
a great analogy. Dan, Howare you doing. I'm doing great,
Dan, Yeah, you too?You too? What do you make of
last night? He was pathetic andyou could tell when he walked out on
the stage he was not He shouldn'thave been there. Yep. So I
(24:48):
don't have to everybody saw the samething. I mean, he is.
He needs to leave. And I'lltell you that you've been talking about that
New York Times and ye an editorialcalling for him to withdraw. That is
a devastating blow to him. Thatthe New York Times editorial page is the
voice of the Eastern liberal establishment, and he cannot. I agree with you,
(25:10):
Dan that that is that is kindof the tipping point, which had
a lot of tipping points since lastnight, but that one truly is how
fast does this happen? Well,I still think that there's going to be
resistance from Gil Biden and other membersof Biden's family. They don't want to
give up that cushy white house gigair force. I think it's some but
(25:32):
I think at some point she isgoing to come to the realization that they're
on an island, and she willshe will be able to talk him into
the reality of what they're what they'refacing. But it might not happen for
a few days. I mean,we're going into holiday week, but who
knows. But I agree with youit's it's the days are are numbered for
(25:55):
him. Who is the best theDems can put up? Well, I
don't know who the best is.I think the there are some obvious ones
who would probably want to succeed him, but mainly number one being Gavin Newsom
California. He's he's hungry for this. Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan. I think
(26:18):
would definitely be somebody who would doit. I mean, Pete Budage has
certainly not lost his presidential ambition. He's been kind of a miserable Secretary of
Transportation, but he's still got theambition. But that kind of leads the
stand to a base. A coupleout, Dick, who else would you
(26:41):
name? Well? Hillary Clinton,Michelle Obama? You think Hillary has you
think Hillary doesn't want it? Yeah, I don't think Hillary. I think
there might be an attempt to drafthim. Uh, Michelle Obama, but
I don't think she would do it. Can you hang on? Can you
hang on and join us? Okay, Dick, so join us on the
other side. Everybody in the line, please stay because I can tell you're
(27:03):
going to be fascinating and I wantto get you on air eight five five
for zero five A two five fivethe number amazing text today as you would
expect, Dan five seven seven threenine when we come back, fast moving
developments this afternoon. Clearly it's overfor Biden. It's only a matter of
time. Who do you think themost dangerous Democrat would be in the race,
the last person you want to seehim put up against Trump? You're
(27:26):
on the Dan Kapla Show. Andnow back to the Dan Kaplass Show podcast.
You answered every question. You answeredevery question. Hello, the bar
has gotten eight five five for zerofive A two five five the number text
d A N five seven seven threenine. Great callers are very fortunate to
(27:48):
have Dick Wadhams with us. Dick, was this the low point or was
there a different one? Making surethat we're able to make every single solitary
person eligible for what I've been ableto do with the UH, with the
COVID, I should be with dealingwith everything we have to do with UH.
(28:08):
Look if we finally beat medicare, thank you, President Biden. President
Trump was right, he did beatmedicare, beat it to death, and
he's destroying medicare. My lord, did you have a favorite moment? It
(28:29):
had to be that one. Andand I think that Trump's reetwards just kind
of summed it up. This isa guy who didn't even know he almost
didn't know where he was or whatdoing right And yeah, and I thought
the Trump comment was right on.And obviously we have the twenty fifth Amendment
conversation to be had. But butDick Democrats, the strongest Democrats out there,
(28:56):
who might realistically enter the race. And I know we probably disagree on
whether Michelle Obama might realistically enter therace. I do ask people to go
to at Dan Kaplis on Twitter thisreally cool graphic we made of these vultures
circling Biden and the heads of Newsome, Hillary Clinton, President Harris, and
of course Michelle Obama. It's justsays it all. But of those you
(29:19):
think may realistically enter the race, who would be the hardest for Trump to
beat? Well, first of letme say Michelle Obama would be the strongest
and most dangerous candidate to run bart. I mean I didn't. I really
don't take it seriously. But havingsaid that, you know, I think,
(29:44):
yeah, probably Greshen Whitmer. Imean, she's obviously a woman.
She's been re elected in Michigan, which is one of the swing states.
I think Gavin Newsom just comes acrossthe way too. Swect. I just
think she would be a better candidatethan he would. So of the two
of them, I think she wouldbe the best candidate. See. I
(30:07):
think whoever they put up, unlessit's Harris, there's going to be an
immediate surge of support because of thecontrast between the obviously feeble Biden, and
now you're going to have somebody whoat least is much younger, who is
actually physically healthy. There's going tobe this breadth of fresh air, and
I think there's going to be atleast a temporary surge in the polls for
(30:30):
the Democrat, whoever that is.But Dan, I'd say this too,
say Biden withdrew from the race tomorrowand recently goes under the to the sunset.
The Democrats have a huge problem withKamala Harris. She is going to
want this bad way. She hasa loyal constituency in the Democratic Party,
(30:51):
and I will say there would probablybe a big fight on the floor of
the convention with a lot of thosedelegates will be for her. So they
and I think smart Democrats are gonnaknow that she's worse than by It's possible
if my microphone would go down thatlow, I would get on my knees
right now and I would I wouldpray to God that their nominee is Kamala
(31:12):
Harris. I don't see how shecould win this race. Oh, I
know she wouldn't win, she wouldn'twin the presidency, but I could see
her being the nominee though, Dan, I really could Yeah, yeah,

here. He'd beat Tom Dashel aswell up there, and he's seen an
awful lot. But I'm guessing nothingquite like last night or this moment we're
about to live through together. No. I mean, Dan, you and
I had watched a lot of debatesover the years, you know, at
presidential debates and then senate and governordebates here in Colorado and elsewhere. But
I'll say that was that was extraordinarylast night and it truly I mean the
(31:59):
words story is thrown around way toomuch, yeah, in politics, but
that was last night. That willbe written about and analyzed for decades and
a pivot point right. It hasdramatically shifted events, and it brought my
wife and I together. We've beentogether in every other way, but we
can't watch a debate in the sameroom. But three minutes into the debate,
(32:22):
she came down to the basement andjust said it's over. And she
despises Trump, she despises Trump, but she just said that man can't be
president. Biden can't be president. He's not functional. No, and and
I think Democrats to oblige about himfor all these months and years though,
yeah, he can run a marathon. And the briefing, give lord,
(32:47):

you know that what disappointed me outof all seriousness that Trump didn't mention October
(33:34):
the seventh, my brother. Youknow, Oh, I thought he did.
I thought he did a few times. He didn't. Yeah, he
said that never would have happened ifhe was president in Israel, should be
allowed to finish the job. Eric, thank you for the call. That
