This is Dan Caplis and welcome totoday's online podcast edition of The Dan Caplis
Show. Please be sure to giveus a five star rating if you'd be
so kind, and to subscribe, download, and listen to the show every
single day on your favorite podcast platform. This is probably the most important presidential
debate in American political history, andon top of that, on top of

(00:24):
that, think about the first timethat a sitting president has ever squared off
against a former president. But muchmore important than all of that is who's
involved. And not Biden because he'sirrelevant, right unless he has one of
those freeze ups that knock him outof the race in a day or two,
he's irrelevant. It's all about Trump, all about Trump, and the
poles coming out today from the leftconfirming that Trump is starting to increase his

(00:47):
lead again. Yeah, it's justthose folks in the middle wanting to see
if Trump is nuts because the Demsmay come out wrongly, dishonestly to be
nuts. Everybody knows their life wasbetter under Trump than it is under Biden,
and folks just want to see ifTrump is still has game. So
it's all about Trump tonight. NowI'm just very optimistic He's going to have

(01:08):
a great night eight five to fivefor zero five A two five five the
number. What would a great nightlook like to you? Love to hear
from you on that. You cantext us as well. D An five
seven seven three nine. Deeply, deeply concerning news about CNN today, and
that is that they are not allowing, as of five minutes ago, they

(01:30):
are not allowing a press pool reporterin the studio where the debate will be
held. Think about that. Ifthat holds true, then what CNN is
saying is sorry, no outside witnessesto what goes on during breaks or what
goes on that can be captured bythe camera angle. First of all,
it's fundamentally dishonest. It's the oppositeof journalism. It's an American and it

(01:55):
confirms that CNN is just an extensionof Biden's team, because the only reason
to keep a pool reporter out wouldbe to protect Joe Biden. So that's
why I'm betting Ryan another tomahawk Tomahawk'ssteak. If you're not familiar with the
tomahawk that CNN relents. I thinkthey'll have to now because the White House

(02:15):
Correspondence Association is a left leaning group, and they are now very publicly blasting
CNN. I'm sure Ryan that theywent along thinking this is all going to
work out and CNN is going tocome to their senses, and then when
it became clear that no, CNNreally intended not to allow a pool reporter
in that now they're making so muchnoise, I think the CNN will have

(02:36):
to cave on that. Yeah,we're not just talking about any Tomahawk either.
It's a dry age Tomahawk's steak.Dude, I don't want to do
that to you. You'd have tosell your car for that. From Shannon,
you'd have to sell two cars forthat. I am that confident that
this old coadure is going to remainon the ballot and it'll be worth it
if they take him off. Andyou were right, Dan, That's the
least I can do is to provideyou that delicious steak and youto what else?

(02:59):
I want to watch you eat it. I will watch you and enjoy
that. Don't order it well donethough, you know Trump does that.
He likes his steaks well done withcatchup. Interesting that kind of Yeah,
that's a fun fact. I'm andI think most people listening are probably the
same way. And this isn't tryingto be idealistic or anything, but I'm
more of a cheeseburger guy. Ithink a good cheeseburger beats a good steak.
Almost any day of the week,it's a good But the special occasion,

(03:22):
right like next week thirtieth anniversary,I'm not sure I can take her
out for a cheeseburger. You've gotto do something special on the show.
Yeah, yeah, well I'll dosomething special during the show. I won't
be on the show. I've gotthe perfect thing and I'm going to make
it happen. Okay, I'm gonnaleave you hanging though. Okay, okay,
no, that's great, but understandI will not be showing up for

(03:42):
that show. Oh no, that'sno fun. Then maybe the day before
you're thinking four to six on ourthirtieth anniversary, I should be in here
doing a show. Is that whatyou're thinking? See, because I'd like
to have a thirty first anniversary, just just saying, well, you put
it that way. So what I'lldo is on the last day of your

(04:04):
twenty ninth year of marriage, Iwill have something very special to present for
our listeners. No, no,really appreciate that. Thank you. It's
funny remember the wedding day like you, but nobody wants that today. This
is a historic but this is importantis from Amy. She did this before
and she was really good about it, like her own favorite songs. But
I want to have for that showthe day before the six songs that stood

(04:28):
out from your wedding reception. Ohbut to her or to you, one
or the other. It could beboth. Most of those songs would actually
have to be from our wedding itselfbecause we had some phenomenal music at the
wedding. Well, then we'll dothat. Yeah, okay, yeah,
thank you. So anyway, gettingback to like one of the most important
days in American political history today, let me get to some text and some

(04:49):
more sound. Dan, I keephearing that Mike's will be muted automatically when
the speaker's time ends. But willthe host MIC's be muted when Trump is
speaking? Good question, No,the host can talk any time. My
understanding is that CNN will control whenthe mics are muted, and the mics
are supposed to be muted when it'snot your turn to speak. Now,

(05:10):
let's be practical. Okay, pictureeight feet, so a little more than
the length of me, you know, picture eight feet. That's how close
these guys are going to be toeach other. So that's not going to
stop the yappen. That's not goingto stop the yeppen if somebody wants to
yap, do you think? AndMartha McCallum, who has moderated debates in
the past, said earlier today onFox Newsday and that this whole mic muting

(05:30):
thing is setting up for disaster inthis debate of when it's muted and who
mutes it and why did they muteit? Did they cut Donald Trump off?
Did the moderators step into the interrupthim but not Biden? She thinks
it's going to go hey wire. And I agree with her. No,
that's a good point because listen,if you're Donald Trump, right, if
you're Donald Trump, think about everythingyou've been through. Think about everything you've

(05:51):
been through, all these false allegations, the Russia hoax. You know,
this corrupt sob trying to jail youbecause he can't beat you at the polls.
He wants you to die in jail. And now you're suddenly on the
stage eight feet away from him,you know, Trump's only human. So
anybody who anybody who's trying to coachTrump, if anybody is coach Trump to

(06:13):
just a be restrained, be subdued, be quote presidential, that just ain't
gonna happen. He's human, andthat's not when he's at his best.
Anyway. I don't want the interrupting, nonsensical stuff he was doing in that
first debate in twenty I don't wantany of that. But I want I
want some of this man. Iwant that. I want that a live,

(06:34):
funny, aggressive on the offensive ina positive way. Trump. This
is a tough business. You're atough guy, Jeb, and we need
to have a leader that is forreal. Top you're never going to be
president. I insulting your way too. Let's see, I'm at forty two
and you're at three. So sofar I'm doing better. Matter, so
far, I'm doing better. Youknow, you started off over here,

(06:56):
Jeb. You're moving over further andfurther. Pretty soon. You're gonna off
the end. I understand because themics are going to be muted, it
wouldn't be that pure tonight. Butagain, the muted mic is not going
to stop Trump from talking when Trumpwants to talk, And then the interesting
question how much of that are yougoing to be able to pick up off
of Biden's mike and or the moderator'smike. I mean, there are so

(07:19):
many reasons this is going to beso fascinating tonight. I want to get
to some other things as well.Eight five five four zero five A two
five five text d A N fiveseven seven three nine. Dan, have
you seen the movie Man of theYear with Robin Williams? That would be
an exciting Trump I have not.Have you seen that, Ryan, I
have not Man of the Year.Okay, I've heard it's really good,
though, Dan, question, canTrump differ one of his answers to Joe

(07:43):
that might throw Joe off enough sothat Joe doesn't know what to do?
Interesting concept. I'm not sure whatexample the Texter's thinking of. I'm not
sure where Trump could give a surprisinganswer that would have to be inconsistent with
the positions he's been taking. Andand still have that work from Dan pop
in the popcorn boy, So myI mean Amy and I Ryan, You'll

(08:05):
be happy to hear have worked outthe ground rules for the debate tonight in
our own house. Yes, yes, different TVs on different floors with the
floor in between us. Wow.So she's going to be in the bedroom,
Oh my, the kitchen unoccupied, and I'll be in the cave.

(08:28):
Yeah. No, no, wewant to make it to thirty. We're
within a week of thirty. Yeah, six days till thirty. Got to
get there. She can't really believethat Joe Biden's going to go in there
and win this thing? Does she? I'm not sure she even likes s
Biden. She just despises Trump.Yeah, so I'm not sure she.

(08:48):
I'm not sure she even likes SPIK. Can you get her to vote for
RFK? Maybe we've never talked.Drf Cat's okay because he won't be on
the belt in Colorado, right,I don't know about that. Yeah,
I want. I think this isone of the states he's really been pursuing
heavily. Though he may still beYeah, well I hope he is.
Anyway, Hey, when we comeback, I'm voting for Trump obviously,

(09:09):
when we come back. Is ita coincidence that there's some big Michelle Obama
news today, of all days,Biden's about to leave the race. I'm
not predicting he's going to announce thattonight, but everybody in the know,
I think knows he's about to leavethe race. So is that a coincidence
that she resurfaces today in a veryvery political way. You're on the Dan

(09:33):
Capla Show and now back to theDan Kapla Show podcast. I think that's
the song I entered the ring to. Oh that was an old basketball arena,
see you light heavyweight championship? Heckyou goodness, not one seat available
in the whole place. But Ithink it was that song. I wish,
at least that's how I remember it, even if there were still photos.

(09:54):
But if there was all of thatfrom back then, man, there
is one still photo out there.Yeah, there is one still photo out
there that show. Yeah, butmuch more important fight tonight, probably the
most important debate of our lifetime. So what do you think you're going to
see? What do you want tosee? And again, if you just
joined us, I think the bignews of the day all would agree is

(10:16):
this very very disturbing conduct by CNN, which can only be interpreted one way
that they're completely in the tank forBiden. CNN refusing to allow a pool
reporter into the debate, so therewill be no independent media witness. So
anything that happens during a break,Biden wanders off, Biden freezes up,

(10:37):
and nothing that happens during the debatewill be reported by anybody. That's all
under the control of CNN. Pardonme, nothing that happens during a break
in the debate is going to bereported. The left lean White House Correspondence
Association outraged and demanding that CNN allowthe pool reporter in, which is obviously

(10:58):
the norm when the President of theUnited States is involved in an official function,
you know, even something very boringsomewhere, pool reporter is present.
But clearly there is only one possiblemotive, no possible justification, one possible
motive on the part of CNN,and that is to protect Biden. And
that is the opposite of journalism. It's fundamentally dishonest. So my bet is

(11:20):
that, yeah, CNN is goingto have to relent it within the next
hour and a half and allow apool reporter in, But as of now
they have not agreed to that.Eric in Castle Rock, you're on the
Dan Kaplis show. Welcome and letme mention one thing, Eric, because
I've promoted for the segment Michelle Obama, you think it's a coincidence that the
report breaks today that Michelle Obama willnot campaign for Joe Biden, since I

(11:43):
think insiders know this is Joe Biden'sswan song. That's why he wanted this
debate early. He knows he won'tbe around for the typical schedule in the
fall. He wants his last bigmoment on the national stage. He wants
to spew venom at Trump. Andso you think that's a coincidence with Michelle
Obama eric him to the show?Ah Dan, thank you, yes number
one. I don't think that's coincidence, which kind of leads to my thoughts,

(12:07):
and I sure hope he does.Like you said with his a Kame,
I think what's important tonight is it'snot a debate really against fight and
everyone knows he's a complete failure. He basically as close to a talk outline
as you can have. That's stilla politician. But talk about the Democrat
policies, the radical left, it'snot working and it's very simple to prove

(12:31):
all of that when you compare wherewe were four years ago. So I
don't think tonight should be looked atas much. And then because I agree
with you, the guy's basically notthere right now, but attack the Democrat
policies as a whole. No matterwho the candidate is, this radical left
ideology and the policies around it,they're not working. They haven't worked,

(12:54):
and they're not going to work.Eric Sowell said, And then I think
the question next step is how doyou do that? Because if you revert
to talking points, everybody tunes outand they're very disappointed. So you have
to make it real. You justhave to talk about, hey, were
you better off when I was presidentor while he's president? Were you better
off four years ago? Orre youbetter off now? And just make it

(13:15):
real. Hey, what were youpaying for your groceries when I was president?
What are you paying when he's president? And do you want peace?
When I was president? Did wehave peace? Yes we did? Or
do you want war when he's president? We have war. You have to
make it so personal because here's thebottom line, and this is science,
this is real and tonight the winneris going to be determined, not by

(13:39):
anything in particular anybody says the winneris going to be determined by how the
viewer feels, how the viewer feels. And that's not an insult to the
viewer, because listen, God createdus this way. You know, we
just don't have Okay, we gotour brain and then we got our emotions.
And brain strong, emotions weak. They're all wired together. They all
work together. That's how we haveintuition, that's how we have instincts.

(14:03):
That's how we can quote trust ourgut in making life and death decisions on
the fly. So it's all abouthow the viewer feels tonight, in particular,
how they feel about Trump, howthey feel about Biden. That's done,
that's baked in the cake. Idon't care what kind of cocktail they
give him tonight. He could comeout there looking like Tom Cruise. It
would not matter. People know whoBiden is, they've seen him for long

(14:26):
enough, and they know he's afailed president. They know they were better
off under Trump. This is abouta Trump performance tonight and how he makes
those undecided voters or those persuadable votersfeel. And that's why I'm so confident
he's going to have a great night. Perfect. No, but other than
the Good Lord coming down to debatetonight, nobody's going to be perfect.

(14:48):
But I think he's going to havea very good night. And one of
the reasons for that, my youngfriend Ryan, is it's very human.
This is a very very human processfor the voter as well as the candidates.
Think about how Donald Trump, thinkabout how Donald Trump has been strengthened
by fire. I'm not saying theman's perfect. Nobody is. But think
about this. Joe Biden has beenweak his entire life. Joe Biden was

(15:13):
weak, pathetically weak in his prime. Joe Biden has always been weak intellectually,
He's always been stunningly weak morally. He's just been weak at his very
best, and now, unfortunately he'sobviously in the throes of cognitive decline.
Donald Trump has always been strong. Now, sometimes he's been wrong, and

(15:35):
sometimes he's done wrong things, buthe's always been strong. And that's one
reason he had a great first term. But all of this suffering he's been
through, all of this persecution he'sbeen through, has only made him stronger.
So when he goes into something liketonight, after everything he's been through,
tonight is not going to be toobig for him, and he's going

(15:58):
to be to go in there andfully perform. The key question is self
control. He's only human. Canhe control his emotions enough? But I
don't want him controlling his emotions toomuch. I want him in there a
man in full tonight. And Ithink that's what we're gonna get. I
think he needs to channel his innerRonald Reagan as a happy warrior. He's
got to be equal parts both. He's got to be willing to fight.

(16:21):
Let me take that on a littlebit. May I go ahead? You're
sorry to interrupt who said it's nobodythinks that? But but no, here's
the point, the happy warrior saying, you know, pup bees and rainbows
and no, but there has tobe a sense of humor. Donald Trump
has to be trying to himself, right, but you have to have that
sense of humor for sure. He'she's not going to be as sunny as

(16:42):
Reagan would be, though Reagan couldhave a bite. Oh yeah, you
know, Donald Trump, there isgoing to be if if he's fully alive
tonight, there is going to bean intensity. There's a times going to
be anger. Listen, anger isgood as long as it's justified, it's
righteous, it's controlled anger, andthere's should be anger at some of this
stuff. But it can't be abouthim. It has to be about us,

(17:04):
about the people he wants to votefor him. It can't be festivus.
It can't just be airing of grievances. But I don't think it will
be. It can't be about him. He's got to make this about the
American people, and they got tocome away with two words about Donald Trump
that reassures the very people you talkedabout, the persuadables, those in the
middle, those that are undercided, safety and security, meaning I feel safer
and more secure with Donald Trump aspresident of the United States. It's a

(17:26):
part of making it about us isexposing the true bidence. So as long
as it's not yet festivus airing ofpersonal grievances, there can be an anger,
There can be an edge and intensityas he exposes the real Joe by
totally, and people will consider thatto be about them. You know.
People want that. People want somebodystrong, people want somebody who will speak

(17:49):
the truth. So, yeah, this is going to be amazing tonight eight
five five for zero five A twofive five text d A N five seven
seven three nine. When we comeback, Is CNN gonna buck him and
allow a press reporter in they betteryou're listening to the Dan Kaplis Show podcast.

(18:15):
It's just awfully good that someone withthe temperament of Donald Trump is not
in charge of the law in ourcountry, because you'd be in jail Secretary
Clinton. Iiden is so lucky,Dan that there's not going to be an
audience because Trump would play them likea fiddle. Yeah, oh yeah.
And obviously this whole thing is riggedin Biden's favor, right, which I

(18:40):
think makes it even better for Trumpbecause I think it's all about Trump tonight.
I think he's gonna have a verygood night. And the fact he
did it against all of this adversity, I think we'll make it even more
impressive. Eight five five ur zerofive eight two five five. Let's go
to Pueblo, Colorado, listening into the great k CSJ Patrick. Welcome
to the show. Hey, Dan, thanks for taking the call, Thanks

(19:03):
for making it. Yeah, Hey, you know, I know it's going
to come down to nothing but characterattacks on Trump, And I was thinking
today, you know, it wouldbe when if he's really attacked on his
character much. I wish he couldcome back with and ask Joe Biden,

(19:23):
who Navy Roberts is his granddaughter throughHunter that you know he evidently doesn't even
know, and then follow that upwith, well, you know, Navy
Roberts evidently didn't get a Christmas stocking. She doesn't get a birthday card.
That was reported in the news recentlythat I think she's six years old.

(19:45):
He's never never gave her a Christmascard or a Birthday gift or a card.
That is such an important suggestion,Thank you, my friend, because
I think what's really going to beeffective tonight is his new stock. Like
that, right, everybody's tired ofthe talking points. Everybody's tired of the
same old things. Nobody wants tohear personal grievances from President Trump, and

(20:07):
I don't think we're going to hearthat tonight. I think we're going to
have a great Trump performance. Butthe new approaches, right, because you
know how you are, we're allthe same way. There are certain things
that can be said that will openour mind because it's a different way of
looking at an issue you've already thoughta lot about. So on the character
issue, that's a fascinating possibility,Patrick, But that ties into Eric Erickson

(20:33):
posted this today about his radio showcaller to the show with the suggested line
for Trump tonight, Joe, whileyou've been at Camp David trying to memorize
quips and one liners against me,I've been memorizing the names of the young
American women killed by illegal aliens you'veled into the country. There it is,
and I think, and this issuch an important, legitimate issue that

(20:56):
needs to be pounded tonight, whichis the women who are being raped and
killed by people Joe Biden led inillegally. It's no reflection on the broader
population of folks who enter the country, but the point being that every crime
committed by an illegal immigrant is apreventable crime, and Joe Biden has allowed

(21:17):
that crime. And we are seeingthis rash of brutal murders of young women
in America by people Joe Biden hasallowed into this country. And Trump needs
to hammer on that tonight. Democratsclaim to be the party of women,
Republicans are supposed to be anti woman. Look at what Joe Biden's doing.
I mean, it needs to behammering the fact that we're having all of

(21:40):
this crime, all this murder, all this carnage committed by people Joe Biden
has allowed in illegally. Again noreflection on the broader population of folks who
enter. But every crime committed byan illegal is preventable, but Joe Biden
has decided not to prevent it.Eight five for zero five two five five
men. I'm a great text,Dan, different scenario. Trump is an

(22:02):
elderly man too. What if hewere to freeze up or face a medical
situation? What could be the repercussionsbest regards around What a great question.
I believe that because Donald Trump hasbeen such a horse, He's been so
strong physically over so many years thatI think if he had some kind of
moment tonight, you know, somekind of freeze up moments, some kind

(22:23):
of just forgetting what he was talkingabout, I don't think it has any
long term effect because people look athis body of work, just like Joe
Biden. Tonight, he's going tohave a better night than expected, probably,
but that's not going to change howpeople view Joe Biden. That's baked
in the cake because they've seen himin action day after day after day.
So that's where I think that comesdown. Thanks for the great text,

(22:45):
Dan. Again, my previous text, what's Amy's answer to those questions,
Ryan, do you have any ideawhat questions that Texter is referring to?
And not exactly, I mean talkingabout the music of your wedding And no,
no, no, I think there'smore of an edge to this.
Listen. The only answer to aquestion my wife has given that I care

(23:06):
about is do you take this manto be your lawfully wedded husband? Right?
That's the one I care about. She got that one right, Okay,
And she's gotten other things right overtwenty nine years and three hundred and
sixty two days. No, no, three hundred, yeah, something like
that. Eight five five Is therea five A two five five of them?

(23:27):
Or I'll figure that math out beforeI get home. But we have
worked out the logistics. I toldRyan that earlier. We're going to watch
the debate in the same home togetheron different floors, separated by a floor.
She'll be in the bedroom, kitchenempty. I'll be in the cave.
I think that's that's a safe approachto this. Dan Well, the

(23:48):
Trump team have their own video ofthe entire debate. I don't believe so.
I think that because CNN is refusingto allow a pool reporter in thereby
make certain that the only reporting onwhat happens during the breaks or otherwise not
visible to their cameras is controlled byCNN. Think about that, CNN is

(24:11):
controlling what news Americans get about whathappens off camera on a night like tonight.
I mean, that is so fundamentallydishonest, so anti journalism. But
I'd be surprised if they're allowing theTrump team to bring their own camera in.
Dan, I keep hearing the micswill be muted automatically when the speaker's

(24:33):
time ends, But will the hostMIC's be muted? No, host mics
will not be muted. And myunderstanding is the host control the muting.
But the plan is to mute themics when somebody's not talking. But again,
they're only going to be eight feetapart. Do you think that's going
to stop Donald Trump from talking whenBiden's talking? I don't think it is,

(24:53):
So we will see how all thatunfolds. They did a demonstration real
quick, Dan, with two ofthe CNN anchors. Film Mattingly was one
I didn't recognize the other about whenthe mics are turned off, what that
sounds like? While the other onewho has turned on sounds you cannot hear
the person off mic at all.Okay, Yeah, no surprise they would
gear it that way. Text her. If Trump shows up with the smile,

(25:15):
humor and comparisons between his time inoffice and Joe's time, things will
go well for the country, beautifullysaid. That just captures it right there,
this Michelle Obama thing. I don'twant to overdo it. Okay,
but do you think it's a coincidencethat that story breaks today that she's not
going to campaign for Joe Biden Becauseclearly at this point everybody in the know

(25:37):
on the left, I think knowsBiden's not going to be the nominee.
This is his swan song. Hewanted this early because he knows he won't
be around or capable of the falldebates. This is his last big moment
in the spotlight where the people areactually going to pay attention. He'll get
to spew some venom and Trump bragabout his record and that this is his
swan song. That's why you seeNewsom moving back to Marine County, you

(26:00):
know, so his children can havequote educational continuity. Yeah, while he
runs a presidential campaign. Polis hasresurfaced. Glad to see he's okay,
but he's resurfaced and doing national TVin the last couple of days. And
the Michelle Obama story today and astory that she's not going to campaign for
Biden. Wow, I hope thatdoes not mean that she's getting in.

(26:22):
You know, So I think Newsomwould be tougher than Biden. Yeah,
Trump still beats Newsome because California isso awful. Obviously any of us could
beat Kamala Harris, but Man andJared Polis that's a joke. But you
throw Michelle Obama in there now,Now it's going to be a horse race

(26:42):
eight five five four zero five eighttwo five five then number boy, you
want to hear do you want tohear Trump sounding like this tonight, don't
you? This is a tough business. So you're a tough guy, Jee
and it's and we need to havea leader that is for real. Top
You're never going to be president, and I insulting your way. So let's
see, I'm at forty two andyou're at three. So so far I'm

(27:02):
doing better. Doesn't matter. Sofar I'm doing better. You know,
you started off over here, Jeff, You're moving over further and further.
Pretty soon, you're going to beoff the end. When we come back,
he find a round of calls andtext as we head into this truly
most important debate of our lifetime. When we come back, I'll reveal the
true tell that absolutely confirms that Bidenhas conceded this in advance. You're on

(27:27):
the Dan Caplas Show and now backto the Dankapliss Show podcast. Mister Trump,
one of the things people love aboutyou is you speak your mind and
you don't use a politician's filter. However, that is not without its downsides,
in particular when it comes to women. You've called women you don't like

(27:48):
fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals your Twitter account only ROSI
O'donald, No, it wasn't.That's the kind of we need tonight.

(28:11):
That's that's the quickness, that's thehumor we need tonight. So and I
think he's going to have a greatnight. Listen eight five eight two five
five the number. We'll get backto her quick on that tack. Yes,
if he can get either Dana Bashor Jake Tapper to laugh, it's
game over. I really do believethat, you know what I mean,

(28:32):
because you know how they hate him. If he can make them laugh at
him in spite of their hate forhim, win, that's a win.
How about this text, Dan,I'd love to see Trump walk to his
podium with a laptop say nothing, just smile, no props all yeah,
no, but right, and Iwonder why and if you just joined us
a big controversy. Even the leftleaning White House Correspondence Association outrage CNN will

(28:56):
not allow a pool reporter into theeight room. So CNN has total control
over news reporting of anything that happensduring breaks. There's no legitimate purpose for
that. It just confirms they arejust an extension of the Biden campaign.
And very unfortunate there, but veryrevealing and confirming, right, Dan,

(29:17):
Trump has a lot of secret servicearound him. Maybe they should hook him
up in some kind of camera toaudio technology. Somebody else that suggested a
bodycam earlier for Trump. You know, we're going to get some kind of
creative twist tonight from Trump, andBiden will try it, right, but
he can't really pull it off.But there'll be something creative from Trump.
I can't wait to see what thatis. But he is at his best

(29:40):
when he's spontaneous as well. Andlisten, when anybody's spontaneous, we can
all make some mistakes, but he'sat his best like that with Rosy O'Donnell.
Now, do you think with thatline about only Rosie o'donald, do
you think that was pre planned theresult of prep Okay, mister president,
you're going to get some kind ofattack question along the lines of negative comments
you've made about women. And thenwhether Trump or his team came up with

(30:02):
it, they came up with thatgreat line, or do you think it
was just from the hit the latter. I think he was just ready with
it. It was his wit cominginto play at that very moment, and
I think we knew he's always hadthat kind of feud with her and he
was playing up on that. Itwas a great line at a great moment.
Yeah, and again that's why Iwant I don't want him to be
overmanaged tonight. I don't want himto be over controlled, and I doubt

(30:25):
he will be. That's not hisnorm. But he has spent his life,
he has spent his life as anentertainer. He's spent his life in
some really tough arenas. He hada great first term to just come in
tonight, not the festive his stafflike era, that weird interrupting of Biden
for no purpose, to no endthat we saw in that first debate in

(30:45):
twenty But I still want to seehim energetic. I want to see him
on the offensive. I want tosee him aggressive. I want to see
him funny, and just that contrastright in the contrast that Biden won't matter
because Biden's not their nominee. Youknow, this is swan song, his
last moment of big relevance in America. But for Trump, you know,

(31:06):
to set up against whether it's goingto be Gavin Newsom or some other dem
you know, just to further solidifythe fact that he's still sharp and vibrant
and energetic. You know, there'ssuch a great opportunity and coming on the
heels of are really nice. Doyou see that New York Times Siena poll.
Oh yeah, I think even stretchthat lead out a little bit.

(31:26):
For this latest poll, yeah, the four and Quinnipiac four yeah, yeah,
and Washington Post, he has aneleven point lead on who's best to
protect America against threats to democracy?Trump, That's an eleven point lead.
Yeah, those two poles real importantpoint out Dan New York Times, Sienna
and Quinnipeac are national popular vote poles. Yeah, and then obviously the last
swing state set, Trump's lead issolid. Even though the Fox National had

(31:49):
Biden bumping ahead, the Fox SwingStates still had solid leads for Trump in
every swing state. So yeah, this is Biden's cyanara spew some venom a
Trump be relevant once more for thevery last time, and then it'll be
on to whoever the demnominee is.So it's all about Trump tonight. Interesting.
I've got a personal text from somebodyeverybody would know their name if they're

(32:12):
Bronco fan, saying he expects Bidento take a dive tonight. And this
guy's one of the smartest people I'veever known. He'd be uber successful at
whatever he did if he hadn't playedsports. But he expects Biden to take
a dive tonight, like literally physicallyand go out that way. Personally,

(32:34):
I don't see that at all.I think headlines tomorrow Biden better and expected,
and I think you will be right. They seem to always be able
to get him better than he usuallyis for an hour or two for one
of these things. You know thisthough, that they can't do it every
day or they would, So whateverthey do to get him like this,
it must be something that carries toomuch danger if you do it every day.

(32:55):
But yeah, he'll be better andexpected unless there's one of those weird
freeze up moments, and in thatcase, you know he'll be out of
this race in a week or two. Otherwise, I think it's just the
timing stretches out to maybe the convention. Bottom line, Ryan, what grade
will Trump come out of this with? A plus? I think he just

(33:17):
he's been waiting for this moment forfour years and he's going to get it,
and he's going to take advantage ofit. Yeah, I agree.
I think that's what we're going tosee tonight. How about young Kelly,
does she have any strong feelings?I definitely think he's going to have a
really, really good performance. Butagain, CNN is going to look like
they are in the tank for Biden, and that's actually a good thing because

(33:38):
everybody's going to see how much everythingis stacked against Trump. We've got to
take it out with this one, don't we. It's just awfully good that
someone with the temperament of Donald Trumpis not in charge of the law in
our country because you'd be in jail, Secretary Clinton. But he doesn't want

(34:00):
to hear this one again. MisterTrump, one of the things people love
about you is you speak your mindand you don't use a politician's filter.
However, that is not without itsdownsides, in particular when it comes to
women. You've called women you don'tlike fat pigs, dogs, slobs,
and disgusting animals. Your Twitter accountonly ros o'donald I enjoy tonight, join
