Speaker 2 (00:15):
The promise this is going to be one of.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
The most amazing twenty day stretches of your life. Actually
closer to twenty six at this point. But James Carvill
had it right today, and even James Carvill acknowledging now
that Harris is in trouble, and Carvell pointing out that
you know what, there's really about twenty days that that
matter left of campaigning and Harris obviously in deep trouble.

(00:37):
But anyway, the subjects today, one local, one national that
are so fascinating, our topics that I'm sure were not
on your mind when you woke up this morning.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Could not have.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Seen either coming. And one is out of Boulder, Colorado.
This is the Denver Post version of the story. Teacher's
parents defend bolder teacher accused of drawing penises on paper
and year books.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
And we'll get into the details, but the.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Essence of it, we read the Ammy bound story in
some detail earlier.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Is this.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
Teacher, who apparently is very beloved by many. I don't
know her personally, but I just assuming good teacher, well regarded,
no hint of impropriety in the past or any other
sort of difficulty, engaged in what I would characterize as
some gross error in judgment drawing cartoon penises on student

(01:30):
papers and in a student yearbook in May. And the
context is that when kids showed up to school that
day some kind of prank, there were hundreds of penises
drawn across the school building, according to this story, And
so then some students said to this teacher, well, instead
of using your usual stamp, you should draw penis, and

(01:50):
somehow she did, And so now students and parents some
standing up and saying she should not be fired.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
So I want to get your take on that.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
I guess the way to crystallize that question is is
there any way the school and district could possibly keep her?

Speaker 2 (02:04):
Again, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
Her, I'm just assuming she's wonderful in every way and
just had some gross error of judgment here got carried
away with the spirit of the moment. Is there any
way a school could keep her under these circumstances, Love
your thoughts. And then the other story I bet you
did not see coming is Gretchen Whitmer, governor of Michigan,

(02:26):
off talked about as a top presidential candidate for the Dems,
while wearing a Harris Walls hat and a premeditated, deliberate,
highly scripted, seeing professionally lit mocked Jesus Christ, mocked the
most holy Catholic sacrament of Holy Communion, where we as
Catholics believe to our core this is like the core

(02:48):
belief that that is, in fact the body of Christ
that's being placed on your tongue. And she openly mocks
that by having this young woman kneel down, who's this
pro abortion activist, and stick out her tongue as if
to receive Holy Communion. And then Whittmer places a derido
on her tongue. And so why did Gretchen Whitmer do that?

(03:09):
And why did she choose to put a Harris Walls
cap on while doing it? Love your taking that My
quick take is obviously Whittmer wants her to lose, just
like Biden wants her to lose, like Shapiro wants her
to lose.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Biden wants to be vindicated.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
He's the only one who could be Trump, and he
wants the people who humiliated him to fail. And Whitmer
and Shapiro want to be president, and they know if
Harris wins now, then she'll be the nominee in twenty
eight as well, and they'll be on the sidelines for
eight months, eight years. And in the meantime, you know,
she's going to really hurt the Democratic Party brand. And
I understand a lot of people listening to this show,

(03:43):
like me, understand the Democratic Party for what it really is.
But there are a lot of people out there who
don't understand how bad the Democratic Party really is. And
if Kamala Harris is president for four years, their view
of the Democratic Party is going to change dramatically for
the worst. Let's go back to the phone lines. Brad
held through the break. You're on the Dan Kaplis Show.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
Thank you, Brad, Yes, sir, and thank you.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
Sure I was talking about Ukraine. I don't think I'm
sure of it that those families in these huge numbers
would not have been destroyed if Crump had been president. Time.
The weakness of Harris and Biden not sending that money
and that war power to the line to tell Putin,

(04:29):
don't do this would have been appropriate. The second thing
is is I listened to the Vice president debate and
the best name that I can give with us give
this Wall's character is Goober from Maybury RFD ETOs and
looks just like.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
You, now, Gohmer Pile. You're talking Goober Pile.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
No, Goober Guber was the mechanic on Mayberry Rd.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
Right, I think that was Goober Pile.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
That was Gohmer Pile's brother, right, yeah, yeah, because most
people it's a Gomer Pile reference.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
Well, he looked more at Goober.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
To me, that's happening because my dad when he was
in the Air Force actually met Gooper Pile.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Oh really yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Probably the least interesting story outside of our family ever.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
But go ahead, my friend.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
The third thing ahead in my.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
Mind is this Grove Versus way, this outstanding job, and
my view that Trump did and that the ladies of
the United States have got mixed up, and that is
this is that instead of having the federal.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
Government telling you weren't for word.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
What you're going to do and what you're not going
to do, he turned into the States. I have a
beautiful wife of forty three years and two beautiful children.
And this by what he did and what people aren't
communicating then, is that that give the opportunity for every
woman in the United States to go to the particular

(05:58):
doctor in the particular state to handle the particular critical
thing that they're facing in their pregnancy, and they can
get the help that they need. They might have to
travel a little bit to get to the state that
they need help with.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
And when you say help, do you mean an abortion.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
No, I'm saying help, one hundred percent help on how
to complete their pregnancy, how to get an abortion if
there's something wrong.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
But it gives them.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
The flexibility to get the exact help that they need
with the item that they're facing with their pregnancy personally,
and they don't have to live and die by the
letter of the law of the federal government. This way,
it gives them the flexibility to seek out the help
that they need with the particular item that they're facing. Grateful, wise,

(06:50):
they wouldn't have that opportunity.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
Grateful for the call, my friend, and for your kind
words as well. I do appreciate that. I want to
get everybody else on and get to these texts as well.
Listen with the Dobbs decision striking down Roe v.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
Wade.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
I mean, what it all came back to is you
have to be true to the Constitution, and no matter
what anybody thinks our abortion policy should be, you can't
just make up constitutional rights. This issue never should have
left the States. And obviously what the left's afraid of
is the Great Debate because the left knows it will

(07:25):
lose that Great debate.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
Now, some places will take longer than others.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
Right, Colorado tough not to crack, but it will eventually
lose the Great Debate in Colorado because most people are
basically good and the undeniable facts set aside religion, philosophy, etc.
For a second, the undeniable facts our abortion is the
taking of it is a human life. So just as
slavery eventually had to fall in America because it was

(07:52):
so contrary to just common decency and common morals and
basic concepts of right and wrong, or in America, what
will eventually be recognized for what it is as well.
And that's that's why the left freaked out so badly
when it was sent back to the States, because it's OMG,
now we got to have the debate. Now, states can
make laws. Now we have to justify this mass killing.

(08:16):
That's why the left's freaking out. Eight five z five
two five five the number the story out of Boulder.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
Can Can anybody come up with a way.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
The school could keep this teacher who had drawn all
the penises on yearbooks, et cetera. Because again, the way
the story is written, I have to assume that this
has been This teacher has been a great positive force
in the school for many years. No reasons to have
any concerns, Ryan, you would love this taught wellness in action,
yoga and bowling.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
Okay, last year at Fairview High.

Speaker 4 (08:46):
It's good.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
Next well, you could mix the yoga and bowling probably
into one very interesting combined clear exactly.

Speaker 5 (08:54):
Yes, are you a bowler? I used to be an
avid bowler. And what's your best average?

Speaker 3 (08:59):
Up?

Speaker 2 (09:00):
It's like two h two? No?

Speaker 6 (09:02):
What do you look at me like?

Speaker 2 (09:03):
That's really impressive?

Speaker 4 (09:04):
Wow?

Speaker 5 (09:05):
I mean it was well two average? No, no, no, no, no,
my average like one fifty something. I was not bad
once in a while though, I struck gold. Yeah, I
broke two hundred and I was so proud of that.
Oh man, I would be Dan.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
You never offered me your cell number, and the other
day someone else accused you of only listening to your
own opinion. Too funny, I'm not the only one. That's
one of the most fascinating texts I've ever received. So
you're going to say to a guy who has done
this job for almost three years, right, been a talk
show host that I only listened to my own opinion?

(09:37):
Who else in America other than a talk show host
who chooses to do the job the way I do,
which is Kelly. I'll tell you right, we don't. We
don't block anybody. You barely screen anybody. I mean, and
I say that affectionately. You know, it's just do you
want to come on air, you come on air. So
there probably is probably nobody in America who is or

(10:00):
open to other people's opinions than me.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
Is we take on all.

Speaker 1 (10:03):
Commerce, especially if you disagree, come on over, let's have
the big conversation. So I think when people say that
you only listen to your own opinion, they say that
if if I disagree with them, right, And that's the
way they define it is, unless I agree with their opinion,
I'm not listening to their opinion. I don't think they

(10:24):
consider the distinct possibility that I've listened to it and
I just don't agree with it.

Speaker 2 (10:31):
But the other thing I'd.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
Submit on my own behalf here is is I have
proven over the years on air, if I'm proven wrong
on something, I will admit it. I'll follow the truth.
That's what we're committed to here, Ryan. When I started
out on air, no, I was a Democrat, you were
I was, And it was this experience on air that

(10:54):
eventually forced me to recognize the fallacy of some of
my deeply held beliefs because they could not stand up
to scrutiny and because you know what, when you do
a radio show like this the right way, there's nowhere
to hide. And so I just followed the truth. I
change some positions, and I'm always open minded, but I

(11:15):
will fight to the death talking rhetorically here, standing up
for what I believe in. And so those who can't
defeat my arguments, they don't have the logic, the reason,
the analysis to defeat my arguments, just end up saying, oh,
you don't listen to any opinion other than your own,
just because they can't win the argument, they can't prove

(11:38):
their case. And I can You're on the Dan Capla.

Speaker 6 (11:41):
Show and now back to the Dan Taplas Show podcast.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
The Detroit Economic Club. Today.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
Today I am also announcing that as part of our
tax guts, we will make interest on carloans fully deductible. Wow,
that's right up there with no tax on tips. Very appealing,
you think, Kamalo rip that one off. Also, I got
a question for you. Sorry to preempt you, but to me,

(12:11):
I'm sorry, this is just one of the most fun
times of my entire life right now as all of
this unfolds, because right, I mean, come on, why are
you on this earth? I'm sure you ask yourself that
question all the time, why are you on this earth?
And I'm sure part of your answer or you wouldn't
be listening to a show like this, whether you agree
with me, disagree with me, or it's a mix, is

(12:33):
you're on this earth to do good things and stop
bad things. You're on this earth to make an impact,
to have a difference. So you probably listen to a
show like this because you have a strong sense of
justice and you want good to defeat bad. Right, and
sometimes it's flat evil. Well, this is one of those moments, man,

(12:54):
I mean you know all this, you know, and it
can be a tough slog at time, right, but all
these political fights over all these years, and it's crystallizing
in this moment, you know, where the left has pulled
out every possible stop to hold on to power and
expand power and take us down this road to socialism,

(13:15):
that we're at this crossroads moment, and they've done everything
imaginable to try to stop Donald Trump. They knew they
probably couldn't beat them, so they tried to jail them
with this garbage law fare. And you've seen the other
things that have happened to them, no matter who was
behind those. So now we're at that moment and there's
about twenty days left, and what's happening. I mean, as predicted,

(13:38):
they overthrew Biden in the dead of night, installed Harris.
And now she's hit a wall as we said she would,
She's hit a wall. And I'll give you the latest
polling sometime in the next ten or fifteen minutes. But
it's truly stunning. Not surprising if you listen to this show,
but it's stunning.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
And here's the thing.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
They got twenty days left to this, right, They've got
twenty days left of this and how bad is it
going to get for them before it's all over, And
how many Senators and congressman.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
Is it going to cost the Democrats?

Speaker 1 (14:13):
How many Republicans are going to win House seats and
Senate seats who otherwise would not have because Harris is
such a horrible presidential candidate and Trump Ryan, as you
and I both promised, Eh, he's got his a game.
He's a great closer, and he is closing extremely well
right now.

Speaker 5 (14:29):
Mixed bag from this honorary Detroit or I'm a Michigander,
But what he just pitched there, great car Loans car manufacturer,
would help car sales, Big three, Big Auto three in Detroit.
But then he said something that gave some gasoline to
Democrats in Michigan by saying, we don't want America to

(14:50):
turn into Detroit. And it's like, that's an old label.
And I think Detroit has made tremendous strides, especially under
the leadership of Mayor Duggan, who is a Democrat, but
I'd say he's a moderate, and Chief James Craig of
the Detroit Police Force, who prevented the nonsense that was
going on here in Denver Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland. During the

(15:10):
George Floyd riots, they didn't happen in Detroit. Because of
Chief James Craig. Detroit has made a tremendous revival and
rebound since it's kind of bottoming out years after the
riots of the late sixties and the seventies and eighties
were bad, that's true, but the stigma of Detroit, I
think it's time to put that away.

Speaker 6 (15:27):
And I didn't appreciate him saying that today.

Speaker 1 (15:29):
Yeah, and listen, he's never going to be perfect. Nobody
ever is right. And his hits are big hits. Their
home runs they're grand slams, and his missus are pretty
dramatic strikeouts. On balance, though, I've got to believe that
this momentum, this trend line, her awfulness, that all three

(15:53):
of those dynamics right now are so fixed and so
solid that it would take something far beyond I mean,
this is a guy who came back in one three
weeks after the excess Hollywood tapes came out.

Speaker 6 (16:04):
I remember the polling at that time too well.

Speaker 1 (16:07):
And then look at this, and I want to get
to a couple of bigger points, but look at this.
Barack Obama is now going on tour for Kamala Harris.
Right with Kamala Harris, he.

Speaker 6 (16:22):
Doesn't have coattails, though I don't think he matters.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
Well.

Speaker 1 (16:24):
Well, my point is it's terrible for It's terrible for
her because of the comparison. People are going to look
at her and look at him and say she's no
Barack Obama. No, yeah, I mean that the comparison is
terrible for Yeah, and Barack Obama clearly didn't want her.

Speaker 2 (16:39):
He and Michelle did not get on board in the beginning.

Speaker 6 (16:41):
Who do you think they wanted? Oh?

Speaker 2 (16:43):
I think they wanted anybody who could win.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
And I think that when you looked at it, Hey,
come on, if it was without this latest terrific anti
Catholic bigotry from Whitmer today, if it was Shapiro Whitmer,
where do you think this race is at right now?

Speaker 6 (16:58):
They'd be in much better shape? Question before we go
to break you real quick?

Speaker 5 (17:02):
Do you think the Democrats will fare better down ballot
Senate House races with Kamala than they would have with
Joe Biden or no?

Speaker 2 (17:10):
Better?

Speaker 1 (17:11):
Able to answer that in about three weeks. If the
election was held today, Trump wins comfortably. I agree Republicans
get the Senate by maybe one maybe more, Republicans barely
hold onto the House, could possibly lose it the election
held when it's going to be held with all this
Trump momentum, and more importantly with Kamala being exposed day

(17:34):
by day, because we don't see it in Colorado, right,
we're not seeing all the spots. But Trump is raising
a ton of money now as as people smell victory.
So he's pouring these spots into the swing states that
reveal Kamala Harris for who she is. It's only going
to get worse for her. So by then, Ryan, Yeah,
by election day, I think the the coattails are going

(17:56):
to be better than they would have been if Biden
had remained the nominated.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
I think it's going to end up better for the GOP.

Speaker 1 (18:04):
Because Harris is obviously there's nowhere to hide this crazy
radical San Francisco far lefty America just doesn't want that.
When we come back, jam Lines on the Dan Capla Show.

Speaker 6 (18:17):
You're listening to the Dan Kapliss Show podcast.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
Let's go to the VIP line. Everybody on the lines,
you will get an air. I promise you that there's
some great callers waiting for your attention. But we're so
happy to be able to go to Heidi Ganal of
Rocky Mountain Voice, who had another important story up today,
raising real questions about the handling of some ballots through
the mail. Heidi, Welcome back to the Dan Caplis Show.

Speaker 7 (18:43):
Hi, Dan, it's great to be here.

Speaker 1 (18:46):
Hey, before we get to your story, quick question, why
do you think Gretchen Whittmber're wearing a Harris Walls hat?
Does this carefully scripted, professionally lit scene mocking Jesus Christ
and mocking Holy Communion? What's her endgame?

Speaker 4 (19:01):
That was so weird.

Speaker 7 (19:02):
It was gross, honestly, and I don't really understand it
seems very intentional to upset the Catholic community or all
of America.

Speaker 4 (19:13):
It was very weird.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
Yeah. Yeah, so hey, tell folks about your story.

Speaker 7 (19:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (19:18):
So.

Speaker 7 (19:19):
Part of the analysis we did on the twenty two
election that took a couple of years, produced an analysis
on the Post Office and how the post Office plays
into some concerns that we have. And one of the
things we found we looked at eleven counties and this
is really color. Our Institute for Fair Elections and Bob
Cooper looked into the post Office data around undeliverable ballots,

(19:43):
and so what happens is when ballots returned to the
post office because the address is bad, they are supposed
to account for those with the county clerk's office and
invoice the clerk's office and that's kind of how they
track it. Now, it doesn't meet general accounting practices by
any means that what we're asking for. But we found
over thirty thousand ballots that are unaccounted for in nine counties.

Speaker 4 (20:07):
Two of the counties looked good.

Speaker 7 (20:09):
The other nine had some serious The numbers just didn't match.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
And when you say unaccounted for, Heidi was that what
does that mean in the process?

Speaker 7 (20:20):
It means that the post office got them back, but
they weren't. They didn't invoice the county for them, and
so there's a gap. There's a big gap between the
number of ballots that were returned and the number of ballots.

Speaker 1 (20:33):
Wow, how do they How does anybody explain that? And
then what are the concerns then that flow from that.

Speaker 7 (20:40):
Well, one of the concerns is that you lose chain
of custody, so we don't know if they were put
back in a back room at the post office and
left and somebody picked them up, or if they were
actually returned and they didn't fill out the invoice correctly,
or if they had somebody come pick them up at
the post office and take them to the clerk's office
and just didn't account for it. It's our most precious

(21:05):
thing right there, our vote, and they've got to be
held accountable for making sure that they honor the chain
of custody and know exactly where our ballots are on
what's going on. So we're asking the post office and
the county clerk's offices to work together to make the
process more buttoned up, because we are going to audit
the process again after this election to make sure that

(21:27):
the problems getting resolved.

Speaker 1 (21:29):
Yeah, because it seems to me that every single ballot
should be treated like a gold bar, should be tracked
and traced like a gold bar, should be accounted for
like a bar of gold, you know, I mean, for
obvious reasons.

Speaker 2 (21:46):
So what is the fix? What is there one systemic
fix for this?

Speaker 7 (21:53):
Yeah, it's called general accounting practices. It's not hard. We
do it in the business world all the time. And
just looking at the audit process, looking at the chain
of custody and making sure that we know exactly how
each ballot is tracked, where it goes, who has control
of it, and how it gets back from the post
office to the county Crook's office, because they're not allowed

(22:14):
to send it back out even if they know the
updated address. So that's the most important part of this
is the chain of custody and making sure that the
process addresses any gaps in that chain of custody so
there's no point at which we don't know where the
ballot is.

Speaker 2 (22:31):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
Well, my guess is you've got more coming, right, because
you've obviously put a ton of time in a lot
of resources into investigating what would the umbrella term be,
just kind of ballot security election integrity issues.

Speaker 7 (22:47):
Yeah, Dan, my goal is not to look back or
try and overturn anything. It's to go forward and restore
trust in our election process. And the bigger issue is
our public official being honest with us about issues that
do exist or how to fix things that aren't working well.
Jennick Griswold lying about there being Wi Fi remote access

(23:09):
cards in twelve counties voting systems does not help restore trust,
and neither does finding thirty thousand ballots undeliverable ballots that
are not accounted for in nine counties. That doesn't restore
trust and neither does the insecurity at the drop boxes,
which is why we started Colorado dropbox dot com, which
is a training program for the public to learn how

(23:31):
to be observers of drop boxes. And if you go
to Colorido dropbox dot com, you can sign up and
then we'll get you through the process to get trained
on how to do that.

Speaker 1 (23:41):
Right, so, as I understand it, there's no allegation of
fraud occurring at any particular stage here, but the point being,
wait a second, in any sane society, there's got to
be an absolute, all consuming obsession with running the election
process to perfection, and that here you're pointing out, you know,
some sloppiness, some other issues that just have to be addressed.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
There just has to be this attitude that it's got
to be perfect.

Speaker 7 (24:09):
It does, and we've at least got to stop saying
we have the gold standard and that there's absolutely nothing
wrong with our election process here in Colorado.

Speaker 2 (24:18):
We're ridiculous.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
Well, especially when it's Jenna Griswold saying we have the
gold standard for elections in Colorado when when she supported
the effort to bar the leading candidate from the ballot,
how is that the gold standard in elections when you're
not going to allow the leading the people the choice
of voting for the leading candidate.

Speaker 7 (24:38):
And I want to there's a really important judge that's
up for approval on the ballot and I can't remember
her name, Dan, maybe you do. I tweeted about it.
Her name is Monica. I believe she was the one
on the Supreme Court who basically was partly leading the
effort to keep Trump off the ballot, if I understand right,
I think Mike Davis tweeted about this. Hopefully I'm not

(24:58):
miss speaking.

Speaker 2 (25:01):
Yeah, and Heidi, are there more reports coming down the pike.

Speaker 7 (25:06):
Yes, there's a lot more to come. It's a long, arduous,
extensive process to look at the voting system and try
and figure out all the different angles and what's right
what's not right. But we're going to keep speaking out
and I've got a great group helping me out of
the with this and volunteers who are very committed to this.
And we just want people to know that, Chris, so

(25:26):
we can fix any problems or gaps and restore the
trust in our election process.

Speaker 4 (25:30):
That's all we want.

Speaker 2 (25:31):
Well, Hey, really appreciate your time. Please do keep us posted.
We want to get you on anytime you've got a
new story.

Speaker 7 (25:38):
Thanks, Dan, appreciate it. Have a great day.

Speaker 1 (25:40):
Thank you too, Heidi Hid you doing a great job
with the Rocky Mountain Voice. Tremendous website. I look at
it every day. I hope you do as well. Let's
go to Nick in Denver. You're on the Dan kaplash.

Speaker 4 (25:51):
Welcome, Hi Dan. About one hundred years ago, you and
I were in college together. Wow, and you remember that
I do, and we have a couple of times afterwards.
You went to law school, I went to Vietnam.

Speaker 2 (26:04):
Oh my man, thanks for your service.

Speaker 4 (26:07):
I you know, I've been a supporter of your show
for a long time.

Speaker 2 (26:12):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (26:12):
So I think that we should support this teacher in Boulder,
and I'll give you two points.

Speaker 3 (26:20):
Sure.

Speaker 4 (26:21):
First, Uh, there was a time ago when both Denver
and Boulder celebrated showing.

Speaker 2 (26:28):
Penises in the library.

Speaker 4 (26:32):
In the library, Yeah, and.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
They hung them, Ryan, they hung them all around the library. Yeah,
that's right.

Speaker 4 (26:38):
And in Denver there was an actual statue and I don't.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
Know what happened the greatest name ever.

Speaker 4 (26:45):
So I thought i'd give you that.

Speaker 2 (26:46):
Made up of bean bags. Have you seen that Ryan?

Speaker 4 (26:48):
That's right?

Speaker 2 (26:49):
Nope, yeah, it's no.

Speaker 4 (26:50):
Ryan probably wasn't born yet. But I mean, well he drives.

Speaker 2 (26:53):
Down twenty five. Uh huh, it's it's on the east
side of twenty five. I'll look for it next downtown Denver. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (27:00):
And so I don't think, especially given as Boulder and
Boudler has the strangest rules and history in the universe,
I don't think it's such a big deal for this tacher,
especially since you know, we've been getting phone calls about
her how good she is.

Speaker 1 (27:20):
Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, yeah. You see all these stories
that talk about how beloved.

Speaker 4 (27:24):
She is, and we can't afford to lose the good ones.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
So you're thinking, justin, I don't know her, but I've
read a lot of good things about her, other than
this obvious, gross lack of judgment.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
But you you just assume that's what it was.

Speaker 4 (27:36):
Yeah, she should have talked to somebody. I mean, you know,
because I just.

Speaker 2 (27:40):
Got carried away. Happens to all of us with.

Speaker 4 (27:43):
The history with that's one thing. But yeah, you have
to have a political sense these days.

Speaker 1 (27:50):
Yeah, Nick, I hope you call off and man, thank
you for that, and thanks for your service and appreciate that.

Speaker 4 (27:56):
Oh, thank you, Dan, you've been You're wonderful to listen to.
M You have the right perspective.

Speaker 1 (28:02):
Thank you, appreciate that. Tell my texter said, thank you man,
what a great call.

Speaker 6 (28:06):
Texters are generally angrier than callers I thought.

Speaker 2 (28:08):
We love our texters.

Speaker 1 (28:10):
Please please that the more the better eight five five
for zero five eight two five five You can text
us d An five seven seven through nine. When we
come back through Ryan's prodigious skills, We're going to take
you to Barack Obama Live. He's he's started this tour
for Kamala Harris and it is going to do nothing

(28:30):
but hurt her. I'll explain why you're on the Dan
Caplas Show.

Speaker 6 (28:36):
And now back to the Dan Kapless Show podcast.

Speaker 8 (28:39):
Every colorad and should give pause to what seventy nine
will actually do to their life. We already have the
Reproductive Health Equity Act, which permits abortion for any reason
for all nine months of pregnancy. There are no restrictions
for health of the mother. As Danny suggested, what this
amendment does is two big things to remove any safeguards

(28:59):
for abortion comments and.

Speaker 6 (29:00):
SAE cards for abortion.

Speaker 8 (29:01):
One the removal print and notification that's CMPED language that
means that a minor can be coerced into abortion by
their boyfriend or or their school counselor, and their parents
have no right to know. It allows for healthy mothers
and healthy babies to have abortions. This is something that
Colorado actually has far more of than even the CDC

(29:23):
or the color Department of Healthcare.

Speaker 1 (29:24):
Well, that's Brittany Vestli doing a great job on Amendment
seventy nine, which is hideous. It puts in the state
constitution if it passes with fifty five percent of the vote.
In fantaside, I mean just right up to the moment
of delivery, right in the state constitution. Healthy babies, healthy mothers,
that's the point she was making. Strips out parental notification.

(29:45):
And by the way, you get to pay for that.
In fantaside, it's horrible. Please look into it, and please
do support the effort to stop seventy nine. Brian's going
to take you into the latest bad news for Common Harris,
which is Barack Obama now campaigning for it. Clearly, you
look at all the poles, and we got to get

(30:05):
to this Pew because Pew poles from the left. PEW
is very left leaning, just put out a series of
swing state poles, very very very good for President Trump.
And so obviously this is all falling apart for Harris.
Now Obama goes out there with her. Horrible for her
because by comparison, she looks terrible, right because Obama all

(30:29):
these bad lefty ideas.

Speaker 2 (30:30):
He hurt this country in so many ways.

Speaker 1 (30:32):
But he's brilliant, and he's skilled, and he's talented, and
this just helps point out, you know how she just
lacks the basic skills, including the type of mental acuity
necessary to be president.

Speaker 9 (30:50):
I remember the first time I went in the store,
right after Molia was born. I was like, what, that's
how much diapers goes? I remember changing diapers hell and
Donald Trump ever changed the diaper.

Speaker 10 (31:06):
Oh that's hard hitting, that's gonna do it right there.
I almost said that, But I did he get.

Speaker 1 (31:22):
Into Kamala's supply cabinet. There, let's get out of there.
That's giving a taste. But yeah, I do wonder about
whether Friday Afternoon Club started early there.

Speaker 2 (31:38):
But no, the point.

Speaker 1 (31:39):
Beamless, I can pick that comparison really hurts her. But
here here is a line that really hurts her, and
CNN put it up as a big headline. Obama said this, Yeah,
the economy seemed great under Trump because it was my economy.
So Obama goes out there ostensibly Harris. Remember he didn't

(32:01):
want her in the beginning. Michelle didn't want her in
the beginning. They did not get on that train in
the beginning. They waited a day or two. They wanted
an open process, and they said so because they know
her and they knew America wasn't going to vote for her.
And so now he says, yeah, the economy was great
under Trump, So he's acknowledging that. And everybody knows the
economy has been a lousy under Biden Harris. So he's

(32:23):
out there talking about, yeah, the economy is great under Trump,
but it's because it was Barack Obama's economy.

Speaker 2 (32:29):
Now, not one thinking person in the world is going
to buy that. But it's just another way that he
hurts her.

Speaker 1 (32:37):
Barack Obama, for all his bad ideological stuff, is a smart,
smart guy, and he understands if she gets elected president,
very very very bad for the Democratic Party because she's
going to be so awful. They're going to get tanked
in the mid terms. They're going to get wiped out
in twenty eight. It's just going to be horrible for
the Democratic Party.

Speaker 2 (32:58):
Wow. I want to get to some of these textures
as well.

Speaker 1 (33:01):
Dan, do you thinks CNN is purposely attacking Biden because
Trump winning gives them four years of ratings. I think
CNN has been unusually balanced. Now they're still far left right,
but I think they've done a few balanced things because
they recognize.

Speaker 2 (33:20):
I believe what I just said.

Speaker 1 (33:23):
It's going to be very, very, very bad for the
Democratic Party if she becomes president. They're not going to
get a Supreme Court pick anyway in those four years.
They're going to get wiped out in the midterms in
twenty eight, and it's really going to hurt the brand
of the Democrats. And I understand Ryan, for a lot
of the great people who are kind enough to listen
to the show, it's hard to perceive of the Democratic

(33:45):
Party having a good brand because you know what they
really are. But for an awful lot of good, normal
Americans who don't pay a lot of attention to this stuff.
They're still remembering the Democratic Party of their parents or grandparents.
They don't understand what's really going on there. But if
you get four years of Kamala Harris, that brand, which
has a lot of appeal to people who don't know

(34:07):
a whole lot about it right now, that brand is
going to look awful. I mean already just shortly into
her campaign since she was installed.

Speaker 2 (34:16):
Look at America as flipped for the first.

Speaker 1 (34:18):
Time in a long time, more people identifying as Republican
than Democrat.

Speaker 2 (34:22):
I think where that's going to be in four years
if she wins.

Speaker 1 (34:25):
But this great poling coming out and will deep dive
it tomorrow with the President in town. It is so
good for Trump. Great things ahead. Thank you Ryan for
your great work.

Speaker 2 (34:33):
Kelly, you as well join us tomorrow on The Dan
Kapla Show.
