Speaker 1 (00:00):
Are you really uh? I probably I was gonna say
the I was gonna ask you about, uh, that sandwich
that you show I cannot stop thinking about that sandwich
that you showed me earlier. I'm not kidding, man.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
The uh it's the Vermonter from Bruger's Bagel Brugers, not Einstein, Bruger's,
which is right there next to Wendy's at one, you know,
in just right by Caddy corner of the bridge Park,
same little areas you would if you were trying to
go to Tommy's.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
But Bruger's Bagels. The Vermonter.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
It's got a French Coast maple bagel. It's got you
had me there, that's enough right there. It's just like,
oh it has it has cage free eggs, melted American cheese, pepper, bacon.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
Pork sausage covered in syrup.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
And I'm going to get one tomorrow on my way
in because that's going to be my That's gonna be
my meal for the day because calorie wise, I'm pretty
sure I'm looking.
Speaker 1 (01:06):
At like fourteen fifteen hundred there. Yeah, And so.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
That will be my meal for the day because that's
how you know, part of what I'm doing to keep
my weight off. Is I count calories not because I
have to, but because I want to, because it's easier
for me this way, thanks to Awaken one eighty and
all that.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
But I will. It's just yeah, I can't. I want it.
You said something that's so accurate.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
You ever seen food presented that looks so good you
can actually smell it through the phone or the television?
Speaker 1 (01:40):
Yeah, that was that. It seemed like what you were
holding up showing me earlier. I was just like looking,
excuse me looking at that? God, oh my god. Like
it literally felt like I was like, I can actually
almost taste that and smell it.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Yeah, I mean, come on, think about a French toast, bagel, sausage, pepper, bacon,
an egg, cheese, and then drizzled in maple syrup.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
What is There's nothing to complain about that? Not one thing. Yeah,
I don't see any trouble with that. Well, the only
trouble is if you ate too many of those, Yeah,
you could be in trouble. But yeah, no, I don't.
I don't really don't see any trouble with any of that. Hey, earlier,
I h he's going to be in with us coming
up after the top of the hour at four New
(02:26):
retirement boss Don ross I earlier did a did a
little blurb with him in front of the National Veterans
Memorial and Museum, and he recorded this for something that
he's doing. But we're going to do more on that
with us because we are involved in that. We are,
(02:46):
so I'll tell you more about that as we get closer.
But it was really cool. We did like a like
a quick video out front, and then we went inside
and walked around.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
I don't know if you've been in there, but yes,
I have for Marilyn Manson concert. Oh yeah, but this
that that place. Yeah, the first I saw the clash there.
I saw Ozzy there, but that's long gone. You knew
that thing, remember that Arnold was there once upon a time.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
I've never been to the new the New Vets Memorial.
Yeah it is uh, oh it is really really it's
a special place, man, It's very special in there. It's
very very special. But to walk around there and uh
and kind of get a gander at some of the stuff,
and it was quick. We were in and just kind
of looked around at one of the spaces that where
(03:35):
you and I will be set up, but it's yeah,
we're basically we're taking a show on the road, is
what this is about. Yeah, yeah, yeah in November. So
but anyway, yeah, inside that it is it is an
amazing place. I mean, really really cool. Just uh I
guess it's the only one in the country by the way, too,
literally the only one I did know that. I didn't
(03:56):
know that, mm hmm. So yeah, that was that was
part of what my day was, you know, when they
got up this morning. And also we were talking about
yesterday that there was a lady who out of Pennsylvania
who was in line to pay for her groceries. She
(04:18):
had one hundred and ninety four dollars grocery bill that
she was paying and in the store where she was
incomes President Trump and so he's in there, walks up,
hands one hundred dollars bill to the cashier and says,
put this toward her groceries. And so, like I was
telling you, yesterday, they had her on Fox and Friends
(04:40):
in the morning and I was watching when she was
her and her husband and so she was talking about
the whole thing. Well, she ended up framing the hundred
dollar bill. She didn't she took it and did not
use it to pay directly to, which is smart. I
think she should have had him. She could have had
him sign it, right, I mean she should have had him.
Maybe some she's gonna I think she did. Oh he
(05:02):
did sign it.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
Okay, I think he did, because I think you see
him like doing this like you just seemed, and then
all of a sudden he turns around.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
I'm pretty sure he signed it. Oh okay.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
And if he did that, he knew she wasn't gonna
spend it, right, it's kind of.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
Devious, right, No, no, either way, right, I understand what
you're saying. It's like, well, yeah, he's helping offset the cost,
you know, so he to groceries turns into a ninety
four dollar bill as opposed to one hundred and ninety four.
However she doesn't. She's not like she's depositing that or
even use it to offset. But still really cool.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
Then I'm seeing people saying, oh, you're buying vote. I
saw this online. People were complaining and clearly lefties. They
were complaining that he was buying a vote blatantly right
on camera, and that's an illegal move.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
Oh for god, see.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
You understand the derangement with these people, the last the
first of all, the left our mouth breathing, low IQ people.
They pretend they're the smartest person in the room.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
They're not.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
They they take Trump literally, they don't take them seriously,
which is really funny to me. This buying a vote,
that's what That's what the Democrats constantly do.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
Oh what do they think? Letting you all the illegals,
I mean people, you know, that's that was where all
the rebuts were. It was everybody putting that kind of stuff.
I mean, think about the amount.
Speaker 2 (06:30):
They're irrelevant jackasses. They mean nothing, these people making these comments,
and who cares because guess what, Nothing's gonna happen to
Donald Trump. And you can whine and cry and pound
your little impotent fist of rage. You soy boys sit
down to pee loser, but nothing's gonna happen to him.
Speaker 1 (06:48):
Yeah, and then uh yeah, in addition to uh uh,
I forget I started reading this. I was just seeing
if there was a yeah anyway, So she talked to
about how this was a complete surprise, clearly, but I
don't and you and I touched on it just briefly yesterday.
I don't think he went in there with the thought
(07:09):
of doing that.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
No, I think it's just like a last spare of
the moment. It's a spontaneous.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
Moment, just like when he goes off teleprompter and he
speaks for two hours, two and a half hours, you
know whatever. It is Unlike you know Kamala who you know,
she can't even and go two minutes without a script anyway. Yeah,
so as far, I thought it was a perfect situation
(07:37):
for him to do something like that, And again, don't
feel like he really planned. If you will to do this,
your thoughts on this. Columbus City Council creating the Commission
dedicated to supporting Immigrants and Refugees. So they're implementing a
new plan to help immigrants by establishing a Commission on
Immigrants and Refugee Affairs. It is a public hearing was
(08:03):
held last night and so the community could weigh in
what they hope the commission will provide to those who
need it. Commission will include fifteen members, each appointed by
city Council. So we're off and running with regard to
that's on the open up right, I'm just seeing if
we can check some boxes here. That's on the op
(08:25):
and up. Okay, many community members express how they hope
the Commission can assist immigrants with resources like job training,
access to affordable housing, and other crucial re Those things
are fantastic. Job training, sure they should have a job,
no question. Affordable housing, all of that. This is going
(08:46):
to cost money.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
I think, how much money are we spending on citizens
to get job training and affordable housing? Let me look,
let me check my how much what a Columbus dedicate
to that? So just your citizens looking at this, nothing,
you know, nothing will carry the one that's.
Speaker 1 (09:04):
Zero is the answer.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
This is what pisses so many people in this country off.
This is why Donald Trump is going to win this election.
We are prioritizing immigrants. And I'm not saying that, you know,
I'm not calling them all, you know, dirty third world
savage immigrants, the ones who are from Venezuela and you know,
could be gangs. Those are third world savages, actual genuine savages.
(09:31):
But listen, we have been through hell the last four years.
Don't you think it's time to start getting.
Speaker 1 (09:40):
No, they're going to Actually, they're ramping it up.
Speaker 2 (09:42):
The rewards over immigrants. They're not many, if not most,
whom are illegal. We've had fifteen million invade our country
in four years, and we're just gonna that's the ones
they're counting.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
That's just the ones they count. Oh, we're going to
Here's what we're gonna do there. This is what we're
gonna help them. We're gonna prioritize.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
Hello, what about those of us who were born and
raised here and never did anything illegal, like, I don't know,
cross a border without the proper paperwork.
Speaker 1 (10:13):
Hey man, the one gal associated with this Padillo is
her last name. She this morning, she made it a
point and I heard the sound bite this morning as
I was watching Getting Ready, you know, looking over different
stuff for the show today. She made a point to
say the timing on this is coincidental. She physically said
(10:34):
that the timing is coincidental. Then, in this article, the
executive director of the Haitian Community Network was one of
several public speakers who shared his personal perspective with city council.
They're drawing attention to the false narratives recently being spread
about certain immigrant groups in Ohio gaining national attention in
recent weeks. They're talking about the eating of cats and dogs.
(10:56):
That's what they're talking about there. Then they're trying to,
in the same breath say that this is coincidence with
regard to Columbus City Council creating a commission dedicated to
supporting these people. This is all just coincidence, the timing.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
Anything that comes out of this Columbus City Commission, Council,
the Mayor's office, any city office in this.
Speaker 1 (11:21):
City of ours.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
I automatically assume they're lying, and I have a good
reason why, because they are.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
They lie. They lie, they lie, and they do it
because they get away with it.
Speaker 2 (11:35):
The media here is around here is gutlass doesn't check them.
You know, we just had the whole fiasca with the
school board and it's like that story has quietly just
gone away.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
Yep. Then also, by the way, to put a bow
on this next step is to take all the feedback
from last night's hearing, bring it before council to codify it.
And guess what the goal is to have a commission
seated by the art of next year. They're trying to
act like that they still have to process all of
these things. That's a done deal.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
It's already gonna happenaying for it. We work at the
City of Columbus. Done our taxes go to the City
of Columbus. It is, yes, part of our because of
where we were. Part of our tax we pay. We
pay one percent one and a half percent to the
City of Columbus out of all of every paycheck we
get yep, yeap.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
So that's the gas lighting. The stuff like that is
what actually irks me the most about this. They try
to act like, well, we're still trying to know you're not. No,
you're not. It's already figured out. You've already got everything.
There's no, it's all ear marked, You've got it all
figured out already. Don't act like, well, we're going to
take all of everybody's input from last night, come on
(12:49):
with that. They just think we're all idiots, all of us,
and some of us are, but they they that's the
thing that all of us is.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
After Trump gets elected, we are going to have the
largest mass deportation in American history.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
