Speaker 1 (00:00):
Do you know anybody who has a h a Wine
Advent calendar?
Speaker 2 (00:07):
Oh what Wine Advent?
Speaker 3 (00:09):
Yeah, you know, like you know, for Christmas, it's the
Advent calendar and there's chocolate. And I guess one of
the one of the things I read that's you know funny,
is like, well, according to my Chocolate Advent calendar, there
is only four more days still Christmas.
Speaker 4 (00:24):
I've seen all kinds yeah this year, but I have
not seen a wine Advent calendar.
Speaker 3 (00:28):
Yeah, I guess it's total. Wines Advent Calendar is back.
It's and it's packed with treats. The festive box comes
with twenty four mini bottles from around the world, with reds.
Speaker 1 (00:44):
And whites and roses.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
And yes, the bottles are easy open twist offs, because
nothing says give me that wine like a twist off top.
And uh, they just said, well, there's no fussing with
bottle openers.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
Oh, there's clearly no fussing with good wine either.
Speaker 4 (01:02):
It seems like I've had some good, cheap wine with
a twist off top.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
With a cap that you twist off. No kid, yeah, boy, oh, reunedy, reunedy,
that's a twist off.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
It was a twist off.
Speaker 4 (01:14):
Yes, oh royal, either royal or wild Raspberry.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
I can't remember which it was, but it was actually
very good.
Speaker 4 (01:21):
You know, I never drank much wine, but I think
that hard to believe. You know, it's very fancy when
the bottle doesn't break when you drop it.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
I've never even.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
You got you he's in a box all the time,
didn't you?
Speaker 1 (01:35):
Or the plastic is really worried. Okay, well, in case
you don't, In case you drop it.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
There's not a problem.
Speaker 4 (01:40):
There is a general rule you should not buy your
wine at the checkout.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
I'm just saying, Congressman, Jim Jordan is joining us now,
and I I realized he's probably gone. Really really the Advent.
Speaker 5 (01:52):
Well that you said the wine Advent calendar is back,
I didn't. I didn't know what is laugh and frankly
I didn't know it ever existed. So uh Now, as
always every week, I learned something. Hey, this show, something profound,
something important, like what you were just discussing.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
I will also say, Congressman that people listening now, based
on your response, they know exactly what to send you
for Christmas.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
This is perfect, This is perfect for you.
Speaker 5 (02:22):
I guess then all kinds of things I can tell you, guys.
Speaker 3 (02:25):
Well, this would be one of the I would think
on the nicer side of what you if you were
to get this. Hey, look man, you gotta you gotta
love twist Off Wine.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
Twist.
Speaker 5 (02:36):
Go Figure, figure, boons.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
Farm baby, Yeah, bag of his dunce.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
I got some Mogen David. I love my Mogen David.
You know that I had that with the fist sticks.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
What because what pairs well with fish sticks?
Speaker 2 (02:55):
Davis?
Speaker 4 (02:56):
And maybe some some if you can find some tea Jesus.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
My gosh, too funny. Anyway, it runs, this box runs
eighty dollars. And this is a real thing, by the way,
it's eighty dollars, and they.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
Say it usually sells out fast. So I guess there's
a high demand for twist Off cap Wine.
Speaker 5 (03:18):
I guess twist Off cap Wine eighty dollars every day
to the Beau to the Christmas Go Go, only in America,
only in the Great Country.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
Ever, right, Yeah, that's definitely it.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
Yeah, so uh yeah, all right, So I oh, I
did want to point this out, Congressman. I just got
back from Vegas. I flew out Wednesday, came back yesterday,
and with.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
Regard to the airports.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
And I know now that you know, we're getting back
underway as of today, we're getting full strengthy with the
air traffic controllers and so on and so forth. But
I'll tell you yesterday, flying out a Harry Reid in Vegas,
I it was, you know, a little bit, a little bit.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
Crowded, but everything was perfect.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
And a Wednesday it was I actually got to Vegas early.
I mean, my flights were it was a ghost town
leaving Columbus and it was like fifty people on this
one hundred and seventy five seat jet on the way
to Nashville. Nashville to Vegas was there was only sixty
people on that flight. So I guess I don't know.
My point being I was not affected, but clearly there
(04:23):
were millions that were affecting. It looks like we're we're
going to get back.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
On track here.
Speaker 5 (04:27):
Yeah, No, I wasn't. I wasn't either. I traveled a
lot last week. I was in what was in Palm Beach,
d C. Houston in New York, and then back to Columbus.
So I was all over the place six days last
week too, so and those flights were all all fine.
But yeah, you're right, there were some people who were
definitely impacted around the country, and again it was it's
(04:49):
because the Democrats thought it was important to shut down
the government for forty threes forty three days to sary
to somehow get at President Trump. You know, never mind,
never mind what that might be to our military, what
it means their traffic controllers, what it means to our economy,
what it means to American family, never mind, We're going
to do it because we think it might just in
some way hurt the present. But it's it's good that
(05:10):
that's now over and we're back to some kind of
some kind of normal.
Speaker 3 (05:13):
So tomorrow it looks like the Republican House leaders are
planning to vote on the Epstein files.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
So we kind of touched on this a little bit
last hour.
Speaker 3 (05:24):
But you know, if you remember correctly, I think we
were all told that there was no list, and you know,
as far as the files go, didn't we I thought
we heard Pam Bondi say that, and then Cash Mattel
as well say like, look, there, we thought there was
a list. There's no list, and now they're calling this
the Epstein Files, which technically I guess it's not being
(05:46):
called a list or what have you. But and then yeah,
also with this, it's unclear whether the Senate takes up
this bill if it passes the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
What bring us up to speed? Like, what do you think?
Speaker 5 (06:01):
Yeah? I think the big takeaway is I think the
President is exactly right. The President said, Look, we're tired
of the Democrats who shut the government down for forty
three days. We're tired of talking about the death you know,
shutting down the government talking about this issue. So let's
just just just pass it. But I think you're going
to see everybody before tomorrow. Just passes, send it to
the Senate. We'll see what they do, and get back to,
you know, focus on helping helping the American people, helping
(06:23):
our economy, helping families. You know. I plan to talk
about tomorrow on the House floor about just the amazing
ten months we've had under President Trump and all the
things we've got done on secure in the border, cutting taxes,
getting to you know, making sure i Ran doesn't have
nuclear capability, getting the hostages released them back to Israel,
and on and on you go with President Trump. So
I plan on talking about that and let's get focused
(06:44):
on that and not shut downs and Epstein. So I
think I think that's a good move. We'll see what
the Senate does. But if it passes with that strong margin,
you know, who knows what the Senate started doing.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
I wish that it would get through both and the
Senate you bought the House end. If it goes through,
and we can just get this thing out. And we've
said this a million times, there's no way they had
any damning evidence on President Trump. He would have never
been elected. They they this.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
Reminds me everything.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
Everything they do now, Congressman reminds me of what they
did prior to him getting elected, which was they threw
everything at the wall and they go, hey, if we
have enough charge. It reminds me of somebody who's being
indicted and they go, all right, let's let's get some
crazy charges going here.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
Something's got a stick.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
And they've done this and they had nothing, they got nothing,
and he got elected, and now they still won't let
it go. And all of this is is, hey, don't
think about the forty three days we stalled you and
literally got nothing. All we were trying to do is
bs everybody, and it's just at every turn they just
try to slow him down, throw as many roadblocks as
they can as they can at him, and try to
(07:54):
slow him down and get And this is yet another
roadblock that's going to yield. This is going to hopeful
be on a shorter as far as the amount of time.
This will be yet something else that yields nothing. And
if it does yield anything, it's probably gonna be a
bunch of Democrats that are ended up. And now there's
a pictures servicing when he was thirty five, because everybody
(08:16):
knows if you're in a picture with someone you're guilty.
Speaker 5 (08:18):
It's that symptom, right ex And that's the concern about
what this this whole mindset of of going after things
like this because innocent people who the court is said
should remain private. Uh, there's gonna be information come out
about innocent people, maybe even victims, which we certainly don't
want to have happened. So, but you're right about the
general thing. For the past decade, there's been one constant
(08:40):
that united the Democrats go after Trump. That's the one
thing they've been united for a decade now. They spied
on his campaign that it was Muller in Peaches one
impeachment two, all the lawfare of Alvin's bagfinding willis Letitia James.
Then it was this Arctic Frost investigation of the Justice
Department surveilling everybody. Then it was Jack Smith with his
gag orders raiding President Trump's home. Then was a forty
three day shot down. And now of course it's the
(09:02):
Epstein thing, and it's it's all part of that mindset,
which I just how the Democrats operate.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
Kile Soon.
Speaker 4 (09:09):
I want to compliment you because I just in you know,
reviewing your life for the past couple of weeks. Here
media is hating all over you, so you must be
doing something right. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (09:17):
I always tell my colleagues that if the president saying
something bad about you, ain't doing anything any job.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
They are calling you all.
Speaker 4 (09:23):
I mean, he's you're a supplegant and an idiot, and
I mean they're just throwing all kinds of filled out
there at you, which means you're doing something right.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
You're ruffling fed feathers. That's great.
Speaker 4 (09:34):
I wanted to ask you, first of all, the Steven
Smith thing, the Arlington prosecutor, don't let up on that.
But Tucker Carlson's people apparently unveiling a bunch of stuff
about the guy who shot President Trump and the fact
that he was on YouTube, social media and all that.
There's been some balls dropped. There is judiciary gonna gonna
get involved here and find out why.
Speaker 5 (09:53):
Well, we had a special special Select committee who examined
that back, you know, in the summer of twenty four
and they released a report. I went after the former
head of the Secret Service. The current guy, Sean Curran
is doing a great job, but the former head we
went after shortly after that that that tragic moment in Butler, Pennsylvania.
(10:16):
But but we are not slated to do that, but
we will. We're always looking for where is the appropriate
time for us to spend on oversight to do our
constitutional duty.
Speaker 3 (10:24):
But we're not.
Speaker 5 (10:25):
We don't have anything specifically going on that issue right now.
Speaker 4 (10:28):
I felt bad because, I mean, I believe that when
when they said, oh, we don't there's no history, we
don't know anything about the guy. Now it comes out
he had like eight social media accounts under his real name,
YouTube stuff under his real name, making vile threats and comments,
and and I just I assumed that somebody in the
national media would have would have actually told me, let's interview.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
Let's interview his ashes, because that's all that's left now.
They made sure yeah.
Speaker 5 (10:55):
Stupid, Yeah, you know, good point yeah point yeah.
Speaker 3 (11:00):
Congressman Jim Jordan, I thank you very much for jumping
on with you.
Speaker 1 (11:03):
I appreciate it. All right, we'll see you. Let's ask
his ashes a question and see.
Speaker 4 (11:11):
Eight different social media accounts that they were telling us
we don't know anything about.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
He wasn't even on our radar.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
Really, such a it's like lie after lie, isn't it.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
It's yep.
Speaker 4 (11:24):
But if you call him out, you are a supplicant
and an idiot. And uh yeah, just you ought to
search the last two weeks of news and look at
all the opinion crap on MSN and CNN and everything,
the name calling against Jim Jordan, which means you're doing
something right, correct,
