Speaker 1 (00:00):
You know, as somebody who travels a little bit me.
I know, Chuck, you don't really fly. You haven't really
flown in well a long time. Yeah, it's been a
long time. But when I see this story, this traveler
in Boston at Logan Airport, Boston's Logan Airport. This was
on Sunday, you know, you think about all of the
(00:21):
things that are associated with an airport, the long lines
and impatient people and huge crowds and long walks and
all of that stuff, and they go, uh, yeah, that's
stuff you expect when you're traveling. You're going through these
huge airports. You got a connecting flight, you gotta of course,
when you pull up, you're in a whole separate wing,
so you're running to the whatever. But this woman was
(00:44):
stung by a scorpion trying to get her luggage. She
was taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment. And
then they go on to talk about well, scorpions things
there aren't serious, really, but they can be intensely painful,
and you know, all of the things that calls our redness,
and you know, and they're investigating, but it's not clear
(01:06):
how a scorpion ended up at the baggage claim in
the airport in Boston.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
So soa ba zomba in from South America and stuff
all the time. It probably just hits a ride like
Tarantula's do one things sometimes and.
Speaker 1 (01:17):
Yeah, I have I put myself in that and you
know what, let's bring in Congressman Jim Jordan, who's joining us.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
Now, yeah, I'm a scorpion expert when it comes to
airports and scorpions. If you're bringing me in for that.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
Right, But you travel constantly and when you see it
now I know and this is based on Balderston told
me too, Like a lot of times you you guys
will just do ah, you know, you'll do a carry
on because you know checking and I guess it depends
on how long you're going to be wherever you're going.
But Carrie, like when you check luggage, this woman's going
and I can't help, but you know, relate. It's going
(01:53):
around on that and I'm just like, this woman ends
up getting stung by a scorpion. That's the last thing
you're thinking.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
You would sink. It's it's crazy. I hope she's okay,
but it's like, so the scorpion was not in some luggage.
It was actually like going the conveyor belt and moving
around with you where you can pick up exactly.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
And it right, and it stung her. And I was
just thinking to myself, can you imagine where you go
to get?
Speaker 2 (02:18):
And?
Speaker 1 (02:18):
Man? You want to tell you guys, if you guys
could actually keep your miles or claim your miles, because
I don't think you can. But the type of miles
you guys fly, it's it is just off the charts,
So you probably encounter all kinds of stupid stuff that's
happened over the years. I would imagine you sat and
thought about it.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
The main thing I get is h Now, I mean,
hundred are nice people, but I always get someone who
thinks that, you know, they need to point at me
with their middle finger and say say some swear words
at me. Uh So, I get that from time to time,
but I've never had a scorpion. Maybe they're going to
start bringing scorpions and these lefties you don't like me
and swear at me and then throw the scorpion at me.
(02:57):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
Would you rather be stung by scorpion or deal with
those people?
Speaker 3 (03:02):
Oh? Definitely, definitely the latter. I'm used to dealing with
those people. There's always someone lying about me and saying something.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
Yeah, I was gonna say, I was gonna say. I
think half the time, you guys might be like, I'll
take the scorpion sting. Do I get to pick where
it's gonna sting me? Because I you know, I can.
I can deal with that. These these insufferable morons I
can't deal with anymore.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
You can stay safe if you just make your hair purple.
Purple hair keeps.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
Them away, right, that's like camouflage to scorpions. They don't
they won't ever sing you purple hair. Man. You learned
everything on this show. I guess coming on every day.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
Hey, so I was hanging with you most of the day, Congressman,
watching the Oversight Committee hearings and this this ice rat
and we'll get to President Trump's speech from last night
here in a minute. But watching this today was mind numbing.
And and you, you know, trying to talk these sanctuary cities,
they're anti Amara, they're downright dangerous, these cities, and what's
(04:00):
going on and what you were what you were talking
about with this guy they released into the parking lot
and it took six offers officers to take him into custody,
and you know they should be able to come inside
and just take him into custody, and they had him
for a long time and then they decide to do that.
These people are just they're out ezy. It is it is.
I don't understand how come people are so anti America
(04:24):
right now? What is wrong with these people?
Speaker 3 (04:26):
Congress? It's the left is so into this sanctuary city,
crazy left thinking now here, you had a Venezuelan gang
member who ice knew came in the country illegally by
the administration released him. He goes to Denver. He does
three crimes. He assaults someone, he steals a car, and
he's charged with menacing. They hold him for three hundred
and forty five days. Early on last year, I sends
(04:49):
a detainer with an administrative warrant to the Denver County
jail and says, hey, when you're going to release this guy,
can you give us forty eight hour notice so we
can bring people there, come in the jail, arrest this
guy when you're gonna let him out. And instead what
they do is they give him one hour notice, They
release the guy and they stamp on there. We're released
him to the streets. He actually write the word in
(05:09):
to the street. We're releasing him to the streets, and
make it so that they gotta and of course an
ICE officer gets assaulted in the process of trying to
arrest this guy. And the simple question is why not
do it the common sense way, holding let two ICE
ages come in arrest him, not six come in and
try to catch him in the parking lot. He tried
to flee and everything. It's like so ridiculous, but it's
(05:31):
all to adhere to this left wing sanctuary city. And
here's the kicker. On the form where they stamp we're
gonna release him to the streets, and they write the
word streets in there instead of releasing him to ICE.
On that form, they also talk about this guy's history
three hundred and forty five days and they had him
and he said it's in there, said he was violent
towards this staff. So not only did he steal a car,
assault someone, menica and full charge of menace, he also
(05:55):
was violent to the staff at the jail. So they
knew this guy was a bad guy, and they said,
we're gonna put him on the street, go find him.
Ice dumbest thing I've ever heard. But that's the sanctuary
city policy. That's what they're doing around the country.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
There's got to be a way to hold those people
some sort of and are they complicit some I mean,
it's just it feels like and I guess there isn't
an actual, specified, defined way to hold them accountable in
this situation, knowing all they're trying to do is stick
it to the people who are are trying to, you know,
(06:28):
keep some semblance of civility to our cities. Right now, it's.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
Here's how the left wing ideology trump's common sense and
safety and that's just dumb, Like, come on, guys, just
release them to ICE is gonna go get this individual,
particularly now in the Trump administration. This guy's a gang
member who did bad things and actually was violent towards
your staff. Oh no, no, we're so behold in the
sanctuary city left wing ideology. We can't turn them over
(06:57):
to ICE. We're going to release them to the streets
and make you go round him up.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
Just that stupid full hatred. Congressman Jim Jordan is joining
us right now. Full hatred on display last night the
entire world to see this and you know what was interesting, congressman,
is this morning a lot of the mainstream legacy whatever
you want to call them, media was what was it, Chuck,
CBS was like seventy was.
Speaker 2 (07:21):
Eighty pre paperable numbers for viewers on CBS, seventy six
six on CNN.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
Yeah. So when when you talk about something like that
and it's somebody like CBS, it's literally letting that see
the light of day and not spinning it somehow, some way.
And then we saw how the left behaved last night.
I just the full hatred on display from you know DJ,
that thirteen year old kid, that battle of brain cancer,
(07:49):
I mean him hugging him, hugging Sean Kerrn, that the
Secret Service director. That brought tears to my eyes. I
think a lot of America they we didn't get any there.
There was nothing from the left during that. They are
soul less evil. I don't understand this, Congressman, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (08:05):
Yeah, no, good, good point, Mark. I mean I thought
the main takeaway was just what a leader President Trump is,
how I mean, is amazing speech. It could have went
on longer and people would have people loved it. So
in true leadership, he said, they're near the end he
talked about dreamers and doers and fighters and founders, and
there was there was that kind of reaganesque you know, America,
(08:26):
this the greatest country ever. There was that element as well.
The list. I just thought it was a phenomenal. But
you're right, when you can't even stand up for that
young man who became an honorary member of the Secret Service,
When you can't even stand up and applaud Helen Comfortory,
whose husband gave his life in Butler, Pennsylvania to protect
his spouse and to protect his daughters, you can't even
(08:46):
applaud that. I just don't get it. Again. I think
it's so much adherence to left wing thought that you
can't even do what is just good common sense, common decency.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
Well, the Democrats last night gave the RNC everything they
need to make sure no Democrats win in the next
two elections if the RNC actually uses it, because I'd
use that footage to show America over and over again
and nauseum, here's what the Democrats think of heroes, Here's
what the Democrats think of our country. Showing show them.
Speaker 1 (09:15):
Do you think? Do you think though, chuck that and
you Congressman that really, the people who support these evil,
soulless people that we witness last night, I feel like
they can see that all they want and it's anti
Trump and that's all they care about. They it's not
that they're so whatever, it's just they cannot fathom doing
(09:35):
anything positive towards forty seven. They just can't. It's it's
it's like it's it's like they're all it's like kryptonite
and they it's killing them. It is mind numbing. How
we continue to witness this over and over and they
hold up these signs, this is not normal. They're right,
this is not normal what we're witnessing.
Speaker 3 (09:57):
No, I think you're right. They just they can't help that.
As it's to the r there, whether it's the the
you know, the old line, Trump's arrangement syndrome or whatever.
What I do know is President Trump is doing what
he said. He's had an amazing six weeks to pace.
The intensity to focus has been unbelievable. He did an
amazing job last night in his speech. I really liked
when he did the list. He did the list of commons,
(10:17):
what I call the list of common sense. We should
have a border. We shouldn't just have boys compete against
boys and not the you know, boys and girls computer.
He just went down that list, if I common sense thing,
and then they did the Doze list. That's what I
was laughing at, you the stupid things we spend money on.
And the guy who's one hundred and sixty seven years
old and still getting you know, it's like, so I
just thought it was well done. And and you know
(10:40):
the president's doing what he said. But yeah, the Democrats,
that's to the r. That's that's the left. I always say,
not all Democrats are crazy, but the left that controls
their party is. And you see that time and time again.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
And finally, I don't know if you were at where
you're at on this, but I was thinking the shenanigans
that we saw from him. I felt like I was like, oh,
after all said and done, I that really wasn't I
expected a lot more when when Rep. You know, Al
Green was doing what you know, the a's yelling articles
of impeachmentory he posted something like that and they walked
(11:12):
him out. And we've seen this whole movie before with
that the impeachment thing, I'm like, man, this is getting old.
They their playbook has about two plays in it, and
they keep going. It's just it's bizarre. And then to
have him walked out of there last night, I mean,
what was that? Like I saw everybody was cheering. I
mean it was crazy.
Speaker 3 (11:30):
Yeah, no, it was Look, I've been to eighteen of these.
The closest thing to pageantry we have in America is
the State of Union address. I mean, we don't have
the monarchy, we don't have the King of the Queen
like Great Britain does. We have this, and it's a
special night, and it's and it's important for the country.
It's important for our system, the best country, the best
system of government ever. And every single time that that
(11:52):
I've been there, you know there's I don't get up
and when it's a Democrat present, I don't get up
cheered as much as a Democrat. That's for Narncher. But
there's always moments where like, oh, okay, that makes some sense.
We should be supportive of that. When the president walks in,
he's the president of our country, the best country. When
he walks in, we should all stand up and right.
So there's certain things that we always have it. There's
always a delegation who escorts the president into the chamber.
(12:13):
My understanding last night, the Democrats didn't participate in that.
First time I've ever seen that, So I just don't
get it. I don't get it. It's a special thing
for the country and it seems like we should all
remember that, but I guess maybe some Democrats can't.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
So after watching you the hearing and I saw ya
doing TV on Fox News and now you're doing radio,
hopefully you get some rest here. Man. It relaxed a
little bit. It's been a long day for you.
Speaker 3 (12:37):
I bet so well. Everything's fine. We're working hard, just
like you, guys. As long as there's no scorpions show
up anywhere the rest to day, we'll be fine.
Speaker 1 (12:45):
Perfect. Congressman Jim Jordan, thanks for joining us here.
Speaker 3 (12:48):
Guys.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
See you man.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
Maxine waters encountered as scorpion on one of those things
one time, but it didn't bite or they interviewed the
scorpion afterwards, he said, professional courtesy.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
Perfect. Perfect,
