Speaker 1 (00:00):
Your show.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
No.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
Of the world famous Las Vegas Strip on the east
end of the world famous Fremont Street. The iHeart Las
Vegas Studios is where I am, and all the way
across the United States is where two of my favorite
people on earth are today, Congressman Troy Balterson GOP strategist
Bob Clegg joining me.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
Gentlemen, I would say, nice to see you, but I
can't see it, but thank you, Thank you guys for
jumping on with me today. This is very, very cool
and a first I think for both of you, right.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Yeah, for me, at least, it is. I don't know
about Troy.

Speaker 5 (00:45):
It is definitely my first two blades. It's pretty cool
that's out there and sin setting.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Yeah, yeah, And you know what I was even saying.

Speaker 4 (00:54):
I've been saying this all week, and this forecast has
been in place since I got here. I've been here
since last Friday, and I'm looking at the forecast and
all week long, and I'm watching local Fox here, Fox
five Local, and I'm watching it all week. They've been
predicting Thursday was the day when it was gonna be
really windy and drizzly and rainy and like fifty three

(01:15):
for the high and man it held up. It is terrible. Yes,
and then you guys are beautiful seventy one, and then
you got seventy seven tomorrow, seventy six on Saturday with
a little bit of rain. But you guys, it's like
I swapped. I flew right past the good weather coming
out here. That went right to Ohio.

Speaker 5 (01:33):
I don't want to throw Bob under the bus, but
I mean like bos and shorts. Zachson shorts now, I got,
I got, I got business and later I'm in long pants.
But everybody else is fee I'm pretty good here, Blazer.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
Well, you know what, you guys are lucky because Zachs
tried all week. He thought, you know, when Chuck moved
to mornings for the last couple of days. He's like, yes,
I don't have to wear pants now when I come
into the studio.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
So you're lucky.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
You got him in shorts east today. That's close anyway,
that's close to not wearing anything.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
He tried.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
That was supposed to be just between me and you.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
Oh, nobody listens to the show. Dude, you're good.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
Nobody's really near any of this.

Speaker 4 (02:14):
Man, You're You're absolutely good. I when I first asked
both of you guys to be on with me today.
It was by design that hopefully it ended up like this,
because clearly we've done the one event. Where was that
at Troy. It was all the way out like near
your neck of the woods. Like it seems like a

(02:34):
million years ago when we.

Speaker 5 (02:35):
Were talking to down in Zaneville. Ohiuse so, miss Kingham County.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
That was fun. That was a good time. People are
still talking about that. They've all come on.

Speaker 5 (02:46):
They did, They really enjoyed that. They enjoyed the perspective
of of what you guys did on stage.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
You know. The interesting thing Troy about that event for
me was that was when I first started thinking Issue
one might go down because at that event you had
a ton of people number one and number two they
were talking about Issue one and I just had not

(03:14):
you know, I didn't think people were that plugged in,
but they were obviously.

Speaker 5 (03:18):
Yeah, they got plugged in. And look, we had a
big crowd there because you and Blazer.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
No that in spite of the fact I was gonna say,
were there exactly?

Speaker 4 (03:28):
Yeah, Most people run the other way they hear I'm
gonna be there.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
Not that guy. The guy he's he's he looks much.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
Better on the radio. We don't want to really want
to look at him like in person real quick. Tonight,
the Jackets are back in action. Kind of a dreadful
road trip for them. They went one for three, one
and three on the road trip, so tonight the good
thing is being on nationwide arena ice. The Jackets are
really really good. As a matter of fact, they have

(03:56):
twenty three of their last twenty seven home games they
have points, so that's a good part of this. And
right now they are sitting in a wild card spot.
So all eyes are on the Jackets as we wrap
up the last I don't know, I don't have the
number in front of me as many games are left,
but it is crunch time and every one of these
games so so critical. So the Jackets tonight they got

(04:19):
their work cutout for him. I said goodbye to the
team Las Vegas, the Golden Knights. They left here and
then went there, so they're there tonight versus the Jackets.
So the thirty one, twenty five and eight Jackets versus
the thirty eight, nineteen and seven Las Vegas Golden Knights,
a very good, very good club. And like I said,
the Jackets have their work cutout for them. Put chops

(04:39):
at seven. But go Jackets, man, this is this could
be a very end up being a very special year
for them. So I'm following, and man, I'm just so
hopeful for everything going on in the Jackets organization right now.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
I'm so in.

Speaker 4 (04:53):
I'm so I bought so in almost to like stealer level.
And if you know me, you know how much I
love my Steelers.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
That's really into it. Yeah, yeah, no doubt about it.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
Hey, So, so you one of the things that was
Troy for you, Congressman Balderson, one of the things for.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
You you were like, as far as being.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
Available today and coming on, You're like, well, we got
to vote for this cr We got to vote to
keep the government hopefully from shutting down.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
Tomorrow is the day.

Speaker 4 (05:22):
So talk to me about obviously, what was it like
two seventeen, two thirteen, I think Troy something too somewhere all.

Speaker 5 (05:30):
To seventeen one Democrat Jared Golden from Maine was the
lone Democrat that.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
Voted for it.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Who's in a Trump districts in a Trump district, that's
one the last He's one every elect I mean, and
look if I'm he.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
Is really a good guy.

Speaker 5 (05:49):
He's a marine veteran served in Iraq, so he slid.
He votes with Republicans a lot, so he knows how
to manage that. He votes his district and God bless
for that.

Speaker 4 (06:01):
So Senate Democrats, yeah, they yeah, I mean right now
they're considering a plan that they're trying to put this
whole thing on ice and tomorrow. I believe, well, it
looks like based on what I was reading it, if
you want to just take this, you can as far
as telling me what procedurally is going to happen now
now tomorrow. If it doesn't get through, then the government

(06:21):
will shut down if there's no funding.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
Correct now, Blazer, it's the Schumer shut down.

Speaker 5 (06:26):
It is not the government shutting down. Okay, And Bob
and I talked about that. This is on humor so well,
and you.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
Know the irony here, Troy is a fact.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
For the last two years, all we've heard from the
Democrats and Chuck Schumer is, oh, those Republicans better not
shut down the government.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
That would be catastrophe US. Oh, but now let's see
what they're going to do. They did.

Speaker 5 (06:51):
The Republicans have done a really good job sticking together.
Mike Johnson has managed this well. Donald Trump has been
very helpful in managing this whole process. JD came to
our conference the other morning advocating for the CR and
getting it so we can move to the next level
of President Trump's agenda.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
So we're all in. It's fun. It's really fun right now.
Oh yeah, I'm loving it.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
Because I just love the hypocrisy on the Democrat side.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
Now, try, what do you think is going to happen here?

Speaker 2 (07:21):
I mean, if you had to put money down, like
you're in Vegas and you had to put money down.

Speaker 4 (07:26):
And where can I vote on this? After I get
Troy's insider information here to Mark, you should.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
Check that out.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
Some of those casinos may have a limit in this
whether the government shuts down.

Speaker 4 (07:36):
They probably do. I was reading Republicans need sixty votes
to invote cloture and advance the measure, meaning it's going
to need to support us some Democrats to get the
vote on final passage. This is the part that I
struggle with Troy. First of all, I've told you many times,
and you too, Bob for that matter. I'm like, man,
I have a small brain, and then I have an
extra small political brain, and when it comes to this stuff,

(07:57):
it really doesn't make sense to me. But I think
think I'm probably in the majority of America that government
doesn't make sense when you start trying to process the
way this stuff works. And this is something that I
read from one of the you know, one of the
articles this morning, and I'm just like, wait, they you know,
it's not just going to be the Senate, and they vote,

(08:18):
and then the majority of the Senate says, yes, let's
do this, let's move forward, and then we're good to go.
It's it's this whole process, right, I mean, it's it's
so confusing to me. It is confusing, and Bob can certainly.

Speaker 5 (08:32):
Agree with that, but I think, do I think it'll
I think it's gonna be tough. Fetterman is the only
Democrat right now as of today.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
That's not enough.

Speaker 5 (08:41):
No, it's not enough, and then you'll lose Rampaul Ram's
not voting for it. So that negates that whole whole process.
So the next thing that could potentially happen is is
they do a thirty day extension.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
But do we even put that out there for them?
I mean, it's like a lifeline, and we do that.
I hope we don't.

Speaker 5 (09:02):
I mean, I shouldn't do but we shouldn't let them
do this.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
Yeah, now you know, so no, thirty day means it
shuts down. It's kind of what you're saying, right, it's
a partial shutdown.

Speaker 5 (09:13):
Some's already been appropriated, so it's a partial shutdown, but
it's a shutdown, shumor let's get this going to that
shut down. We got to get that going. So I'm
with Bob, don't give him that lifeline. They wouldn't do
it for us. I can guarantee for us. So why
does this always happen? I'm sorry to oh man, this

(09:35):
makes me crazy?

Speaker 4 (09:37):
Why does this always happen to Republicans? We are always
the ones that acquiesce. This makes me crazy. You guys
are both going, yeah, they would never do this for us,
And I know it's not you, Troy particularly, but it's
just man, this is the irritating part about being conservative.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
It really is. Man.

Speaker 4 (09:55):
We watched this time and time again as they run
over a and they all stay together for the most part,
and then we're all fragmenting. You got Thomas Massey doing
what he's doing right now, I don't know exactly what's happening,
but it is so frustrating to hear this. It seems
like with almost every situation.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
It happens a lot.

Speaker 5 (10:17):
But look, let's talk about the new piece that we're
dealing with, Harry. Now, we had one Republican descend from
that the other day, and I mean, I'm going to
tell you on Saturday morning, Speaker Johnson had a conference
call with all the Republican conference. There was more than
one potential no vote for that CR. I mean, you

(10:38):
had several members that had not voted for a CR.
You had several members that didn't vote. This is the
same CR that was passed in December, so they didn't
vote for that. Now that CR, President Trump wanted us
to put the debt ceiling piece in there at that time.
So there were thirty eight Republicans that did not vote
for this last CR with the debt ceiling in it. Also,

(11:01):
So to get what we got two days ago is
a big win. And I'm with you, Blazer, it's it's frustrating, frustrating.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
But look, President Trump is leading this and it gives
Mike Johnson the ability to maneuver and you know, make
peace with his members to get this job done. Uh
And and look all the Republican Conference, all the members
know that this is the next step.

Speaker 5 (11:27):
Then we go to the reconciliation piece that we need
to get done too. So and you know Mike Johnson,
I mean his goal is to have that done by
the end of April.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
Now look, don' let's put dates. Good luck, good luck,
and it'll be a struggle.

Speaker 5 (11:42):
But you know, the budget piece that we had to do,
we got that done three weeks ago. Now now we
got this uh CR done onto the next so hopefully.

Speaker 1 (11:56):
You know it goes through.

Speaker 4 (11:58):
You guys did what you can do. I mean you
can't obviously the Senate.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
The Senate is the Senate, so they have to.

Speaker 4 (12:04):
I mean, it's just you guys are out until the
twenty fourth. I think I read.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
Troy next week. Now, if something would happen, you know,
we're on call. So so if they change it, if
they change in any way in the Senate, you guys
have to come back.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
We have to come back. Yeah, Okay, you gotta do
all that before midnight tomorrow. Correct.

Speaker 4 (12:23):
So you kept your you kept the jet, you kept
it started in fuel.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
It's warming up, it's not a jet. It's American Airlines.

Speaker 4 (12:34):
It's commercial.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
Oh, it's not your private jets? Okay, jet.

Speaker 4 (12:38):
You know what's funny though, a lot of people, and
I remember back when I first started talking about all
this try, I'm like, you guys fly back and forth constantly,
and I'm like, man, do you guys take your jet
or Jordan's or Mike carries Whose jet are you using?

Speaker 2 (12:52):
Troy is not Nancy Pelosi, although he does it for
a long time.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
You you're a man of the people. Troy.

Speaker 4 (13:03):
You like Kroger ice cream, not Jenny's, right, I mean,
come on.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
Holif ice cream ball, Tom's ice cream ball? Tom?

Speaker 4 (13:09):
Sorry, I got that incorrect. Congressman Troy Balterson, GOP strategist

all over social media's and so on in this. Area
as a matter of, Fact i'm seeing some national stories
about it saying that you, know they Listed, ohio The

(13:51):
Ohio valley and The ohio area is one of the
great places to see this.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
Tonight, however is that.

Speaker 4 (13:57):
Going to ring true for us or are we looking
at a fog and some other stuff that might kind
OF i.

Speaker 6 (14:02):
Think we're likely to be partly cloudy to mostly, clear
SO i think you're gonna have some, clouds BUT i
think you'll still have a good view of that moon.
Tonight so we're at maximum totality by three o'clock in the,
morning so it'll become a partial, eclipse then it becomes
a total, eclipse it stays there for a little, while
comes back to, partial and then it's. Over it'll take

(14:23):
most of the overnight hours for that to, Happen but
if you want to get out and see, it you're
gonna have to spend some overnight. Time and it is
going to be that, orangey rusty color as The earth's
shadow passes over the. Moon so it should be a
beautiful sight, tonight but you're gonna have to.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
Stay up late or get up really early to see.

Speaker 4 (14:43):
It man partly, cold and by the, way you can
you can look right at.

Speaker 1 (14:47):
It. Right you don't need this isn't.

Speaker 4 (14:49):
This is this is a solar.

Speaker 1 (14:51):
Eclipse no fancy.

Speaker 4 (14:52):
Glass, YEAH i don't want people going blind listening to,
us going hey, man you guys said you look at,
that look at. Me NOW i get thanks a, lot you.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
Know, yeah you're good with this. One this is.

Speaker 6 (15:03):
Fine you don't need the pinhole projector or the special
glasses or.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
Any of that for, This, okay just want to make.

Speaker 6 (15:10):
Suit, yeah it's it's in, fact it's still reflected, sunlight
but it's not bright enough to do.

Speaker 1 (15:17):
Damage so you're.

Speaker 6 (15:17):
Good partly, cloudy, mild overnight alone near forty eight degrees
and tomorrow just a fantastic. Afternoon oh it's going to
be seventy seven, here what's it going to be In?

Speaker 1 (15:28):
VEGAS i don't.

Speaker 4 (15:29):
Know about four. DEGREES i think stuff like. That at
least that's the way it. FEELS i was just, Downstairs.
MARSHALL i posted a video on My facebook PAGE i
did for the first.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
TIME i, GO i come out of the.

Speaker 4 (15:39):
Elevator it's literally like a twelve ten, second five second
elevator ride from floor, two which is WHERE i am
to floor one and THEN i walk out on The
Fremont street AND i posted the. Video and in the
video you can see if you got a second in
between what you're, doing jump On facebook on my page
and you can see, it and you'll see the grace
guys in all. That what you didn't see is What i'm,

(16:01):
wearing which is like long pants and like my blue jacket.
Sweatshirt i'm, like it is freezing, here, man and it's
windy and it's drizzly on the way. In LIKE i
was telling these guys at the top of the, SHOW
i flew right past the good weather on its way
To ohio WHEN i was coming To.

Speaker 1 (16:18):
Vegas. Man so so When.

Speaker 6 (16:20):
Ark blazer is wearing, pants you know it's. Chilly this
is the. Deal, hey real, quick we need to talk About.
Saturday saturday is going to be an alert day for,
us and that is because there's the potential for some
strong storms On. Saturday so what we're looking at is
some really strong storms In indiana On, friday and if

(16:40):
those hold, together they'll get in here as just some
rain By saturday. Morning the rain would be good for
us because that'll take some energy out of the atmosphere
for the. Afternoon if you see sunshine across a lot
of Central ohio by mid morning to late morning On,
saturday we're going to have an adventurous afternoon for, sure

(17:03):
so be weather.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
Aware On.

Speaker 6 (17:04):
Saturday we'll have more details on all that for. Tomorrow all, Right,
marshall thank you very. Much it is seventy two beautiful right.
Now thank you very much for listening to The Mark Blazer.
Show Congressman Troit BALDERSON gop Strategist Bob klegg in studio with,
me and you, KNOW i was just seeing too AS

(17:26):
i was getting ready for the show.

Speaker 4 (17:27):
Today you, guys AND i like to put this. One
CAN i get THINGS i don't? Trust for two hundred alex.
Category It's Russian President Vladimir putin talking about today that he.
Agrees what does this? Mean by the way he, GOES
i agree in principle with A us proposal for the
thirty day ceasefire In, ukraine but the terms still have

(17:48):
to be worked. Out then he goes on to emphasize
that it should pave the way to lasting peace and so.
On he said they need to develop a mechanism to
control possible breaches of the, truce he, said that's another
issue for, him and another one is Whether ukraine could
use the thirty day ceasefire to continue mobilization and. REARMAMENT i,

(18:09):
mean there's all of these things that he is gunshy.
ABOUT i JUST i don't, know are we that much
closer to some sort of a truce, here BECAUSE i
know a lot of people clearly the, world but a
lot of people are watching this kind of.

Speaker 1 (18:21):
Thing what are your, thoughts. Guys i'll go.

Speaker 2 (18:24):
First he wants talked To President. TRUMP i, mean he
wants to reassarch reassurance From President. Trump AND i Think
President trump will put a message out, there let's get
this thing, on so get the deal. DONE i think,
that you, know he's gonna like What troy. SAID i,
MEAN i think this is all About President, trump AND

(18:46):
i Think putin realizes that he's going to have, to
in the end go along with what The president wants
to have done, here because he really doesn't have a.
Choice if he, doesn't then what do we. Have we
just have this war.

Speaker 1 (19:02):
Continuing on and on and, on.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
And at some point his his domestic issues will start
causing him problems because The russian people are only going
to put up with so. MUCH i think they've had
what over seven hundred thousand troops.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
KILLED i, mean that's, amazing astronomical. Number and when you.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
Think about, THAT i mean you and you think about
how are these mothers and wives and you, know daughters,
feel uh when they're you, know when when their father
or husband or brother does not come, come you, know
come back. Home and and He putin has got himself
in a situation where he has no choice but to

(19:50):
rely On President.

Speaker 4 (19:51):
Trump you know the sad part of this, too you
guys WHEN i WHEN i think about this whole situation
and how long it's, taking so on and so, Forth
because it looked like at one point that we were
on the cusp of having this wrapped, up and it
would have Been trump being the, peacemaker the art of
the deal and all of those. Things and if you
are a headline reader and you're a fringe person at,

(20:13):
best it looks like it looks like AND i emphasize
looks like based on what happened in The oval. Office
we all saw everything that happened that. Day the fringe,
people the headline, readers the people who don't pay as
much of attention it looks like It's President trump And
Vice PRESIDENT. Jd vance's kind of felt like they were

(20:34):
mean to, him they kicked him. Out and that's the mainstream,
media that's the legacy media throwing that crap out, there
doing their best to try to peddle. That now AGAIN i,
emphasize looks like that clearly is not what happened that.
Day you had an ingrateful guy that's Running ukraine come
in there, indignant thinking he's gonna deal With biden again

(20:54):
the Way biden has just rolled over and giving him
whatever he. Wants and it really wasn't Even. Biden it
was clearly whoever was pulling the strings while he was the.
PRESIDENT i GUESS i guess you call him president during that,
time BUT i think he thought he was gonna come
in and and do whatever They and clearly that was
not the way that that played. Out and it was

(21:15):
one hundred percent accurate the way that it worked. Out
BUT i hate now that it's taking this, long and
that gives the legacy media more time to kind of
fuel all of that misinformation and make that just the
average person halfway paying attention going, yeah why did they do?
THAT i, mean they had him right. There he was
going to sign, over you know that kind of. Thing and,

(21:35):
again people who will take a minute and start drilling
down a little bit on this and try to understand
it would see. That, no that's not the way that
that played. Out that's the thing that scares, me or
not really scared. Me it just worries me the most right,
Now troy And.

Speaker 1 (21:49):
BOB i don't know where you guys are at.

Speaker 2 (21:50):
Him you, Know mark that the media is going to
go the Bad Orange man route every time they, can
so of course they're they're praying it that. Way BUT i,
mean here we are this week With ukraine actually agreeing
With President trump and working With President trump to try
to get a seize. Fire and that's the other Problem

(22:12):
putin is going to have here because you, Know President
trump can switch his mind on this very, quickly and
you know what he can. Say you, Know ukraine's been
doing a great job working with. Me eh That putin
he just Won't and you know that's going to add
another whole layer to this.

Speaker 4 (22:31):
Thing, YEAH i, Hope, Yeah i'll go, Ahead, Troy.

Speaker 1 (22:36):
Sorry you're.

Speaker 5 (22:37):
FINE i, Mean bob's, Right BUT i think at the
end of the, Day president he he wants to talk
To President trump and he wants to have that. Conversation,
uh to put him in a place where he knows
that this will, happen and that's where we'll be. In
it'll be a good, thing especially When President trump gets
done with.

Speaker 4 (22:57):
It, YEAH i was gonna, say, so do you think
BECAUSE i was just reading. Headlines i'm trying to stay
on this because, man it's changing literally minute by, minute
AND i just hope that they're able to speak or.
Whatever and and again they're they're pushing the narrative once,
again like you put, It, bob The Orange, man bad
media is pushing right now That, yeah look look At

(23:19):
putin is in the pocket Of, trump and SO i
mean it's like they want him to have the conversations
and to kind of get this going and be the middle,
person if you, will the. Middleman and then you, know
he starts trying to do, that and then they start, going,
yeah see look they're. Connected he's he probably has them
on speed dial or there's probably a direct line into

(23:41):
The White house For, putin you, know or.

Speaker 1 (23:43):
Whatever that's the.

Speaker 4 (23:45):
THING i just feel like it's almost, like you, know
you can't win for losing trying to get this figured.
Out i'm Sure trump's used to feeling like, that because
that seems like that's the.

Speaker 2 (23:55):
Time Anytime President trump takes a, position the media and
The democrats are going to be against it, automatically no
matter how good.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
That position may. Be, yep yep Correct bleezer.

Speaker 3 (24:09):
Show all, right thank you very much for listening To
Mark Blazer. Show thank you, Also Congressman Troy.

Speaker 4 (24:25):
BALDERSON gf, strategist Bomb flag joining me in. Studio we
are thousands of miles, apart but, guys you're right here with.
Me it feels like it's A it's actually. Cool this
is a this is a cool, thing a cool.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
Dynamic you're right across LIKE i always. DO i, See
i'll see you over, there know what you.

Speaker 4 (24:44):
DO i wanted to double check two to make sure
you guys got THE i had an assortment of different
types of potato there for you, guys catered in filet,
mignon And i'm Hoping i'm hoping you guys got all of.
THAT i didn't double, check But i'm, Hoping, zach BECAUSE
i set all of that over and so hopefully you

(25:06):
guys are able to.

Speaker 2 (25:06):
Partake MARK i was just hoping you kept the post
selection bar, here but you didn't do.

Speaker 1 (25:12):
That you guys all it's locked. Up that's.

Speaker 4 (25:16):
RIGHT i was gonna say you could get into my.

Speaker 1 (25:17):
Own that was the last Time troy AND i were
here to.

Speaker 5 (25:20):
Party So, maga McCoy And zach must have taken THE
pa and, whatnot because, yeah, Yeah dad gone.

Speaker 4 (25:30):
IT i you, KNOW i told. HIM i was, like,
listen make sure our guests are taken care. Of i'm
going to send this stuff over and well we'll have
to have a conversation about. That this is interesting how
the Average americans spends their. Paycheck they what they did
was there was a poll of two thousand people Employed,

(25:50):
americans they write, here who make that less than seventy
five thousand a, year and so they look at where
their salaries. Go and AS i start reading, This I'm i'm,
like oh, BOY i start checking a bunch of these.
Boxes the average person mentally pre spends more than half
of their paycheck before they get. It and it was
like this rings. True like WHEN i WHEN i look at,

(26:13):
like for, instance that opening, Line i'm, like, Yes i'm
one of those people that you start to figure out
what do they, say they, say the Average american they
do pre, planning so you start figuring, out, all, right
what AM i going to pay? First and this is
all while you're waiting to get. Paid AND i feel
it's interesting THAT i feel like this is reflective of

(26:34):
most of the. Country then this is kind of. Shocking
overdue bills are a top reason that only forty percent
of respondents they don't have any overdue. Bills fifty five
percent listen to this have between one and four bills
that are overdue in any given. Month that is really,
sad you, know it's, sad really.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
Sad, well a lot of people, live you, know paycheck to.
PAYCHECK i, mean it's, unfortunate BUT i mean it's.

Speaker 1 (27:03):
REALITY i mean it's.

Speaker 2 (27:04):
Just, uh especially with with what we've been through the
last couple of years with, INFLATION i mean that's just
eaten into people's paychecks right and.

Speaker 4 (27:14):
Left, yeah and then they say the Average american spends
about forty three percent of their paycheck within the first
three days of getting. Paid and then they also go
on to talk about how much the. CHECK i have
definitely had checks WHERE i get paid and it's literally, i'll,
uh you, know get up in the, morning and you,
know of course it's you, know deposited, overnight And i'll

(27:35):
get up in the morning and, literally by, gosh let's
say like nine or ten, am like most of, it
ninety percent of it is.

Speaker 1 (27:45):
Gone i've sent it out in. Bills it's.

Speaker 4 (27:48):
Crazy i'm Like manne and THEN i, GO i gotta
have less. Bills that's WHAT i Gotta that's WHAT i gotta. Do.
Man people are talking about struggling to buy. Groceries sixty
two percent this is of the two thousand that were
in That are we're pulled for this saying sixty two
percent struggling to buy groceries and. Stuff, YEAH i don't.

(28:10):
Know as far as the egg, THING i, mean we
keep talking about that over and. Over it's in the
news so, much and we talk about how the eggs
are just going up and up and.

Speaker 1 (28:17):
Up is this a?

Speaker 4 (28:18):
Sabotage was there something done? Here because it feels suspiciously
like something could BECAUSE i saw that THE doj is
investigating into this.

Speaker 2 (28:28):
Blow The biden, administration you, know called for the killing
of millions of these you, know chickens because of.

Speaker 1 (28:39):
The the ilium, yeah the flu.

Speaker 2 (28:41):
Thing AND i mean that this started what last fall
with prices going up on an eggs and it was
just the mere fact that we're you, know killing all
these chickens to try to control that whole flu. Thing
AND i didn't realize until this that about forty of

(29:03):
the chickens involved in this come from mercer in dark
counties here In.

Speaker 1 (29:09):
Ohio ohio was the number two egg producer in the.

Speaker 2 (29:12):
Country, YEAH i, MEAN i just was amazed that two
counties In ohio was, like you, know almost half of
the problem. Here and that's Why, DWINE i, mean he
came out with that statement and had our director OF
aag come, on and you, know they're reaching out to THE,
us so they're communicating with the USDA uh to combat

(29:35):
this AND i think it's starting to go, Down so
it's starting to wind, down so hopefully that changes the.
Pricing and, well we're fortunate it's only about eggs versus
what we experienced what.

Speaker 1 (29:47):
Two years, Ago, yeah two years.

Speaker 2 (29:48):
Ago AND i don't, Know, Troy i'm sure you saw where,
uh yesterday the consumer price index came in lower than,
expected and then today that producer price index actually.

Speaker 1 (30:02):
Declined we haven't had a decline in.

Speaker 4 (30:05):
Anything oh, well they suspiciously and quietly don't talk about.
That the mainstream media doesn't want to tell much of
a positive.

Speaker 1 (30:13):
Light, yeah.

Speaker 4 (30:14):
Exactly that's the thing that burns my ass with dealing
with this stupid. Media it's it's, like no matter what,
happens they'll never be any. Positivity they never want to.
Talk they always got to find. Something they got to, dig,
dig dig and find, negativity, negative, negative try to figure
out some other way that they can take.

Speaker 1 (30:33):
SHOTS i just.

Speaker 4 (30:36):
It is, exhausting, man especially when you do WHAT i
do every, day clearly what you Do, troy and you, Too,
bob to an extent as, well that depending on you,
KNOW i guess what exactly could be taking place with
you on a day to day. Basis but it, is,
man it is really hard to try to to try
to combat.

Speaker 1 (30:56):
All of this right, now just.

Speaker 5 (30:58):
Relentless and, then you know we talked about earlier on
the show, HERE i, mean then The trump arrangement comes.

Speaker 1 (31:03):
IN i, mean then it just amplifies.

Speaker 5 (31:06):
Significantly and it's just that they never and you, Know
bob does. INTERVIEWS i, mean there's certain things they want
to talk about and you try to, say, like that's
not what we're going to talk ABOUT i, mean we're
going to talk about, this and there's a lot OF i, mean,
look gas is still UNDER i know it's, close but
it's still under three dollars a. Gallon it hasn't been
on three dollars a gallon for eight. Months, Yeah AND

(31:29):
i paid two fifty four and then My Kroger tom's
ice cream, bowl but My, kroger My kroger card.

Speaker 1 (31:35):
Was ten cents, Off so it's two forty. Four SO.

Speaker 4 (31:40):
I was earlier in the, earlier but, well what would
that have. Been it would have been like, late, yeah Late,
february maybe into early this. Month of course we're still
kind of early in the. Month BUT i even uh was,
SAYING i couldn't believe. IT i went to the sheets
over by my house AND i get that blue the blue. Pump,

(32:00):
yeah and uh it's a little bit cheaper than just you,
know the regular, standard and it WAS i paid two
twenty four at that, point AND i, go oh, boy
we're gonna get below two, dollars you. KNOW i, thought,
man we're headed that. Direction then it went back, up
BUT i, FULL i fully uh think that it's going
to it'll definitely get probably into the into the, dollar you,

(32:24):
know upper dollar dollar eighty dollars ninety low two oh.
Nine we'll be there probably on a more normal, basis
sooner rather than, later.

Speaker 1 (32:31):
Hopefully so, Yeah so there's a.

Speaker 4 (32:35):
Man this is a Bizarre this is one of those bizarre.
Things we'll take a break real quick from, uh from
all the, like you, know political, political, Political but this
is this is just one of those. Stories it's right
out of A i don't. KNOW i think a lot
of people can relate with something like, This and then
you think not to like freak everybody out or make

(32:55):
that the but you think about people you know in
your neighborhood or different. Neighborhoods you go to some relatives
in their neighborhood And i'm one of those. People AND
i TOLD i Tell chuck this stuff all the. TIME
i have a weird way of processing, Stuff like WHEN
i go into, Neighborhoods i'm thinking to, Myself, MAN i
hope there's nothing creepier or so weird going on in

(33:16):
any of these.

Speaker 1 (33:16):
Homes but you can't.

Speaker 4 (33:18):
Help but think that when you see a story like,
This this is out Of. Connecticut this guy is there
is right is saying that he was held in a
room captive for twenty. Years, now listen to how he gets.
Out he set a fire to actually escape this. Home
he's claiming that he had been held captive since he

(33:39):
was eleven years. Old invest an investigation into, this they
reveal that he had been held in captivity for over
twenty years and during prolonged, abuse, starvation severe, neglect inhumane.
Treatment and this victim endured this again for over twenty.
Years Kimberly, sullivan she's fifty six years. Old she's identified

(34:02):
as this guy's, stepmother and so she's being charged with,
assault with, kidnapping unlawful, restraint, cruelty reckless. Endangerment and then you,
know she's denying all of. This so this, guy he
lit a fire with some hand, sanitizer some paper from a.
Printer he lit the fire while he was locked in
that room from the. Outside he lit the fire knowing

(34:24):
that he could. Die but they, claim you, know he
had been locked in this room for twenty. Years he'd
been trying to get. Out isn't it hard to understand
or process how you could as a, Man you, go
there's got to be a way over those twenty years
that you would have, somehow some way been able to
get out of a locked room like.

Speaker 2 (34:41):
This somebody doesn't make sense, Here, MARK i, mean, YEAH
i mean it's it's you're thinking.

Speaker 1 (34:50):
Over all that, time they never like opened the door
where he could rush. Out overpower?

Speaker 2 (34:56):
Somebody did she have like other people there that was
helping her keep them in? There OR i mean is
he mentally? Okay or? What?

Speaker 4 (35:08):
Well the prosecutor goes on to, say you, know this
guy was taken to the. Hospital he weighed sixty eight,
pounds he was a maciated.

Speaker 1 (35:15):
Well and they sat overpowering? Anybody, Then, no not at.

Speaker 4 (35:19):
That, point, Right and how long had he been in that?
State you're, right because if you're not eating or you're
just barely, clearly you're not gonna have enough strength to do,
anything let alone try to break out of. Somewhere, Right
so we're kind of processing this with our normal. Brains,
yeah the strength we have right now based on our
daily nutrition and so. On and it's hard to. Process
but you think about this guy sixty eight. Pounds and

(35:43):
then the prosecutor goes on to, say without, exaggeration this
is a kin to a survivor Of alschwitz death.

Speaker 1 (35:49):
Camp that's the way they compared this. Guy it is.
It it is.

Speaker 4 (35:53):
Shocking when you see a picture of this, woman she
looks absolutely.

Speaker 1 (35:57):
Deranged she looks.

Speaker 4 (35:58):
Psychotic, Man, well if that answers that question right, there
it's issue, yeah because she's gone, deny, deny deny right.
Now but this is, again this is one of those
this is one of those stories that is so shocking
and it's hard to. Fathom and this is of people's worst.
NIGHTMARES i feel like and in society to be held

(36:19):
captive like that and kept alive for that. Long but
how many times would you?

Speaker 1 (36:24):
THINK i, mean oh my.

Speaker 4 (36:25):
Gosh, there he's not been in he's not in prison per,
se he's not been sentenced by the court of. LAW i,
mean he's just being held and it's just, like how
long do You oh my, gosh it's. Horrific WHEN i process,
THIS i don't. Know it's just one of those things
that are, yeah, yeah really really. Bizarre i'm glad that
he got. Out clearly he's. Broken he'll never be normal

(36:47):
or function. NORMAL i, mean his, brain, everything everything's just.
Permanent that's happened to. Him but you, hope some, way some,
somehow some siblance semblance of normalcy can help this guy out.

Speaker 1 (36:59):
Six' TEN w tv.

Speaker 3 (37:01):
Dot, COM now i don't know why you're Playing. Super
Freak why congressman And Then bob pleeger. In studio i'm
stretching my head, Over.

Speaker 1 (37:09):
THIS zach, I don't. I don't i don't know that.

Speaker 4 (37:10):
That's appropriate it's. Not appropriate panera introduces a a new
green bread bowl and it's just in Time For Saint.
Patrick's day uh You guys PANERA for I. Love Panera.

Speaker 1 (37:24):
Like, panera yeah they're.

Speaker 4 (37:26):
Gonna have a green. Bread BOWL and.

Speaker 1 (37:30):
I think we do green.

Speaker 4 (37:31):
Beer.

Speaker 1 (37:31):
Too well they don't do, beer there? DO they i wish. They,
would well everybody should. Have beer we should.

Speaker 4 (37:38):
HAVE mcber's i mean McDonald should have, you know a
big mac and. A beer, i mean there's nothing. Wrong
anyway they it's it's a special thing that.

Speaker 1 (37:49):
They're doing.

Speaker 4 (37:50):
Panera is but it's, the yeah green bread bowl and
it's gonna be filled with mac and Cheese And Saint
patrick's day and. He's, green, well no it doesn't say
the mac and cheese is going to. Be, green however
that would be easy. To DO but i feel like
it's not. VERY appetizing i kind of associate green bread with,
you know mold. And right, i'm like who's the marketing?

Speaker 1 (38:13):
Genius here not.

Speaker 4 (38:15):
Very very good From where.

Speaker 1 (38:17):
I'm, at well just so Y'all.

Speaker 5 (38:19):

Speaker 1 (38:44):
He UNDERSTOOD maybe i.

Speaker 4 (38:46):
Don't Know Chief meteorologist marshall McPeek is joining us. Right
now so what a great day to be outside on the.

Speaker 1 (38:53):
Swing. Set wow SEE what i, did there like as she?
Did there.

Speaker 6 (38:57):
Very, NICE actually i think you could probably take That green,
panera bread combine that with the green Chili from skyline
and then a green beer and now we're on.

Speaker 4 (39:07):
Our way, oh boy that's gonna be interesting later on.
The exit, but anyway holy good, lord man you could
really freak somebody out.

Speaker 1 (39:18):
On that one is definitely not the end of. The rainbow,
so yeah.

Speaker 4 (39:23):
Oh wow, oh yeah, oh, yeah, no, yeah, no, no, yeah, yeah, no, okay, no.

Speaker 6 (39:28):
No nout it should be a great day to be
on the brand new swing Set, on Monday Because Saint
patrick's day should have, some sunshine a, little breezy and
cooler fifty, four degrees but it'll.

Speaker 1 (39:37):
Still be a little, above average so.

Speaker 6 (39:39):
No complaints there should be a nice day to, be
out maybe even finding a patio for your. Green beer
tonight down to forty eight degrees with a lunar eclipse.
Overnight tonight if you want to stay, up late it'll
be at maximum totality by about three o'clock in. The
morning and then Tomorrow Is pie day three, point one
and you'll be able to. Enjoy that with a mix

(40:01):
of sun. And clouds it'll be warm, and windy a
high near seventy. Seven degrees saturday is an alert day
because showers and thunderstorms are going to, be here some
of those could be strong to severe and a high near.

Speaker 1 (40:11):
Seventy six, All, right marshall thank you. Very much it is. Seventy.

Speaker 7 (40:16):
Three, YEAH hey i was just talking about smashing pumpkins
and so this is gonna.

Speaker 4 (40:26):
Be cool metallica is teaming Up with apple for free
immersive film and, so yeah they're offering fans this immersive
concert experience and it's going to Be On apple vision.
PRO headset i think that's like The the virtual REALITY.
The vr have you ever put one of?

Speaker 1 (40:43):
Those on? You guys have? YOU ever i? Have, not, no,
NO no i.

Speaker 4 (40:50):
Mean this is you Don't, have Well ar lowe will,
get there but by the time he's, Doing it. I'm
serious this is You know, stony's adds he HAS the.
Vr stuff it's. Absolutely incredible these things ARE and i
think that's What The apple vision pro.

Speaker 1 (41:08):
Headset thing that's what. It's like.

Speaker 4 (41:10):
THEIR version i want, to say it's like thirty five
hundred or. Four thousand it's a lot of money for.
This thing The one stone gets is, you know like three.
Point fifty, you know it's much. More reasonable but it.
Is incredible i've put, those on AND really i only
put it on because when, He went, He's, like DAD

(41:30):
can i get this game OR can i buy some
OF the i don't know something pop rocks to use
to purchase something in an, in game blah, Blah Blah and, i'll,
GO yeah i have to jump on there to put
my pin IN because i have a. Card connected but
it requires the pin for him to, purchase anything And
so i've put this thing on Before and i'll start, looking, around,

(41:51):
like man this, is cool and, He's, like dad, Give,
him dad stop looking around and just put the.

Speaker 1 (41:56):
Pin in.

Speaker 4 (41:57):
Come On but, i'm, like HEY can?

Speaker 1 (41:59):
I play and he's. Like no, i'm like, ALL right,
i GUESS but i just think this is.

Speaker 4 (42:03):
Really cool it's a really. Cool concept but, starting tomorrow
you can access the high resolution one hundred and eighty
degree footage of their Performances of whiplash One, In er Sandman.
AND troy i know you're. A rocker i Don't know
claig if you're? A rocker are you a? Country? GUY
clegg i Can't, Remember pollo i'm.

Speaker 1 (42:22):
A rocker i'm you're. A rocker oh, that's okay.

Speaker 4 (42:25):
That's awesome if you Don't Have, Apple vision apple stores
all over, the world they're providing demos of this, immersive
experience and clearly this is going to BE something i
think that spikes the sales for them of. These things
so you can go in and almost kind of test
drive it in any Of the.

Speaker 2 (42:43):
Apple stores so is it going to be like you're at,
a concert but you're.

Speaker 4 (42:48):
Really not YEAH that i think that's what they're going.
For here this that's why they call it this immersive.
Concert experience the footage Is From metallica Live From, mexico
city and they're use what's called spatial audio in it,
as WELL which i think is the immersive feel. For,
that man this is the direction all this kind of stuff.

(43:10):
Is GOING and i hope because the live, concert experience
and both of you Guys are i'm sure right here
with me. On this nothing compares to the live concert
experience when you're standing there most of. The time, the
smells although although that can be questionable, at somebody that's.
The spell now come sites the the just the whole

(43:34):
experience of being at a concert and watching the band
and not having to look where they want you. To
look and don't get, me wrong all of those things,
are GREAT but i feel like something like this is,
pretty COOL but i don't ever want it to take.
THE place i don't want to watch holograms MOVING because
I think kiss is going to be doing something like that.
Moving forward and it's great that as like an alternative

(43:57):
to people who maybe don't want to go to a
concert or don't want to. Do that that's, All GREAT
but i hope these bands never stop because nothing will
be the same as, you know experiencing.

Speaker 2 (44:06):
It, LIVE yeah i think doing that in your living
room won't be exactly the same kind of.

Speaker 1 (44:12):
An, experience, No no and did You, say.

Speaker 4 (44:15):
Kiss well kiss is DOING and i don't have that
story right in front. Of me obviously it was as signed.
To mention but, they are they're going to. BE doing
I saw gene was talking. About that think of leave
it Up To gene simmons to figure out how to
still make touring money for kids without. Actually touring, you know.

Speaker 1 (44:34):
That Guy Unbelievable. GENE simmons i.

Speaker 4 (44:39):
Think it are you familiar with, The story bob.

Speaker 1 (44:41):
Or are they doing?

Speaker 2 (44:43):
That? Hologram yeah, bit yeah where you know, they're there but.
THEY'RE not, i mean it's all projection, right somehow because they.

Speaker 4 (44:51):
They did their they did their, last tour, You know
kiss did their last tour and said, you know, that's
it blah. Blah blah But then jeene said we'll, be
back and so there.

Speaker 1 (45:01):
Was, like oh they'll. BE back i thought.

Speaker 4 (45:03):
They were, you know how many times have we heard
it's the? Farewell tour and then all of, a sudden, they're,
like well we have. More energy no. You, don't yeah
you saw that people are buying. Your tickets that's why
you have. More energy you're testing the water with.

Speaker 1 (45:15):
The hologram they don't have to, Put energy That's what.

Speaker 4 (45:18):
I'm, saying yeah but they're talking about that as a as,
a thing a way to continue the memory or to
continue the living of can continue the.

Speaker 1 (45:29):
Cash flow that's that's that's it. Right there it's.

Speaker 4 (45:34):
Totally it there's, nothing though that replaces the concert experience
in the chills that you get and you know the
things that. Are involved i'm here to tell, you GUYS
like i Saw on Sunday At. Encore Theater brian adams,
was There, and god let me. DO that i gotta, tell,
you like it's his uh what is This called roll

(45:56):
With the? Punches tour AND so i didn't know any
of his, new stuff but he is a new. YOU
know i don't know if he's even a whole new
record OR an ep, or SOMETHING but i Saw It
encore THEATER and i talked about It on monday on,
the SHOW but i went and saw, him Perform and i'm,
telling you this guy's sixty five he just turned, SIXTY
five i Believe. In november and he comes out. On

(46:17):
stage he looks as good as he did and cuts
like a knife video or any of those videos from,
the eighties and.

Speaker 1 (46:22):
And he, starts SINGING and i, was like, oh my
he still.

Speaker 4 (46:26):
Got it he still, got it and and it was.

Speaker 1 (46:29):
Just entertaining as hell to watch.

Speaker 4 (46:31):
Him perform it was This whole and my point with
all of this is the concert experience can never be
replaced with some sort of immersive experience and, so on
because to stand there and watch and hear, him sing
it was like it was so powerful because. He does,
You know JENNY and i our first dance as husband
and Wife was Heaven From. Brian, aday yeah and so

(46:53):
that's our that's. Our, song, okay, yeah yeah that's our.
Song together and so needless, TO say i got a
lot of making up to DO when i get home
because she IS pissed i went to that. Without her.

Speaker 1 (47:05):
