Speaker 1 (00:00):
There's been Troy Balderson in studio with us, representing the
twelfth congressional district here in the state of Ohio. And
I'm telling you the uh, this whole redistricting thing has
really just kind of I don't know what over the
last couple of days.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Is that?

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Is that about the time frame roughly? It's yeah, I
mean it started heating up. It's been heating up, but
the last couple of days. Yeah, last week, a couple
of days.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
Really really heating up.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
So so you were talking, we were during it was
during a break last hour, and you started talking about
this whole situation with it.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
First of all, for.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
The average person, talk to them like they're a fifth grader.
Talk to us like we're fifth graders about redistricting.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
You know, kind of what is it? Why is it
such a big deal. It's just like when.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
You hear we're a red state, we are, We're a
bell Weather state. Well we've been one, I don't know
so much. Are we still considered that a bell Weather state?

Speaker 2 (00:58):
We are not considered we are a red state. We're
one of the red est states in this country. Now. Yeah,
And I think we taught when we were off there
I mean Josh and I were talking about it.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
I mean jd one big statewide election.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
I mean Trump Trump twice by nine points outlook right now,
as he could get ten to twelve points victory here
in Ohio. I mean, they don't even come here. The
Democrat the Democrat presidential side doesn't even come here.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
So we're not going to see Kamala here stumping. I
don't I think so, because I can tell you that.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
I can tell you exactly the night the Democrats knew
that Ohio was lost and lost forever. Do you remember
on the at the eve of the election, where did
Hillary Clinton spend her last night on the campaign through?

Speaker 3 (01:45):
I don't remember Clevelandland, Okay. And guess what.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
The black vote never turned out for her, did not come,
didn't happen. There was either no interest or the working
class usually the apple working class folks usually why you
know your hillbilly types. It'll proudly tell you, Hey, I
got family from West Virginia.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
I can say hillbilly. I yeah, yeah, we're good.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
So those people went to Trump because he was the
only ones talking about them and they had felt ignored
that night and Matt rally, how poor that was?

Speaker 3 (02:21):
And then how much that was it?

Speaker 4 (02:23):
That was the last time the Democrats really fought for Ohio.
And they're not going to fight for Ohio this time.
It's a waste of resources. They're going to be fighting
in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, that's Georgia.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
That's why they're going to be fighting.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
And you you brought up earlier with the Palestine. I mean,
how many Democrats came to East Palestine?

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Exactly what Biden?

Speaker 4 (02:44):
Biden came like week what was it? Months after a month?
Off to year, a.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Year after it happened. President Trump was here within the
first three weeks. Yes, you know I talked about JD
was there, Bill Congressman Bill Johnson was there. I mean
Bill Johnson I know for a fact, got a hotel
room there and stayed there non stop. Uh So, But
going back to the initial question real.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
Quick, and we'll go back with the when you know
Trump's going back to Butler, Yes, at.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Some point he went back, well, I mean Butler, Yes,
I meant to stump.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
He's going back. He's going to finish what he started.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
So there's no it hasn't been announced when as of yet, right,
I mean there's no have you heard anything.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
I've not heard anything, but I didn't think so.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
Well, obviously Troy would if it's not that we wouldn't
get it as same. I don't know, but that's why
I decided to ask Troy A and B. So we
we came up with we want to I can't speak
for Josh necessarily. I want to go live from there. Awesome,
doesn't it? And I hopefully Josh can pull it off
as well.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
His schedule is different to mine.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
I'll make if it's a weekend, if it's a Saturday
or whatever. So what I was going is, I'm like,
it would be cool if you were there with us
and we're live and we do the show live from there.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
And again I didn't We haven't said anything to our
boss about any of this. I just want to do it.
I don't if we.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
Can pull off wife to your wife or the boss
here at sixteen now the right.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
So we went and I was going, Man, it would
be so cool if you were there and we did
a broadcast from there.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
That's an ingenious idea.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Yeah, And I don't want and I now I'm going
I'm The reason I bring it up on the air
is because if we start hearing any of the other
national talking heads who are going to go live from there,
almost like a Republican national convention light if you will,
if we start he handity or any of that, you'll
know that we were talking about it first. Is why
I kind of brought it up because I I would.

(04:43):
I just think it would be so cool, especially if
you would hang out with us while we're doing it.
Maybe we could get Congressman Jordan's he could come over
and hang with us, and we could just be uh,
we could just have so much fun and own that.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
Even if it's it doesn't have to be.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Three hours, it could be two hours, but it's north
of Pittsburgh there, and we could stay in Pittsburgh because
we could probably stay.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
Overnight or whatever.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
But I've got some people that are interested in being
a part of that if we go and do that.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
So I think that's a great idea.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
I say something on Mike Kelly too, my congressman buddy
over there, that yeah, I come over.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
Let's do you could come over and hang with us,
you know or whatever if you would. I don't know
what kind of stuff he is going during that, but
I mean, it would just be the coolest thing to
we go live before President Trump begins to speak, obviously,
so there will be a host of people. I'm sure
that will warm ups if you will, right, I mean.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
That's usually the wa things work.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Congressman Kelly will McCormick, the Senate candidate, will be also
be warming up. And then they'll have a couple of
other representative There's Lloy's Smucker over there, doctor John Joyce,
Dan Muser, there's Dan MUSERU was actually there also the
day the assassination attempt man.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
So I just feel like I it's going to be
one hundred thousand people or more probably And here's why.
I think a lot of people are going to go.
That's the place they attempted to take him out. He's
going back, he's unfinished business, is going to speak, and
people are going to want to be a part of history.
This will be the first time back to Butler speaking
to Butler County in America for that matter. Over I

(06:19):
bet you'll be over one hundred. It is going to
be insane there. It'll be the epicenter the it'll be
the like the biggest thing this side of you know,
CNN will.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
Focus on Kamala speaking to h you know a moose
club with like thirty people, you know, in Elks Lodge
or something like that.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
Right, and this is going to be so huge, huge,
and I just I wanna. I want to be a
part of history because I I had a chance to
be a part of history in Milwaukee.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
I love you. I'm so stupid. I'm like why, I'm
like that. You know, that was huge anyway.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
And then of course it comes post the assassination attempt
and the fact that he did not call it off.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
I just said, wow, wow, wow, wow, this is he
was there. It's amazing the first night. Oh yeah, we
saw only did he not call it off? He was
there the first crazy as you saw. I saw your
your tweet. Don't be fooled.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
Issue one is a radical gerrymandering scheme that would enshrine
the flawed concept of proportionality into the Ohio Constitution, tearing
apart communities of interest, empowering an unelected, accountable commission in
robbing o'hilans of a voice in a fundamental democratic process.
So Issue one is what's going to be voted on

(07:43):
for this correct.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
That's correct, for redistricting, for redistricting again, here we go.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
The West coast and the East coast is.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
Going to come in and try to change the Ohio constitution.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
They have no clue.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
And Mark, like you said, I was just I came
across this article last night and I knew that way
it's been, and Josh talked about it too. I mean,
this is the Democrats can't win in Ohio right now.
They can't win. They don't have the candidates to win,
or they don't choose the candidates they can win that
they can challenge.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
But it's a red state. Shared's hanging on by a
threat right bear to hang out.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
I mean, Bernie has given him a run of his
life right now, right and Shared knows that. But listen
to some of these groups that have given money. The
thirty six, the sixteen thirty Fund gave six million dollars.
Sixteen thirty Fund, sixteen thirty five, Article four of Washington,
d C gave two point eight million dollars. The American

(08:39):
Future Foundation of Washington d C gave one point eight
million dollars. The Tides Foundation of California gave one point
five million dollars. The American Civil Liberties Union gave one
point five million dollars. The Movement Voter Protection of Massachusett.

(09:00):
It gave one million dollars in the Open Society Policy Center,
which is an abbacy group that has close ties to
our liberal billionaire mega donut mister Soros, who gave half.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
A million dollars. Here's some of the local funders fifteen
point one million.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
Yeah, here's from Ohio where the Highoprogressive Collaborative, which gave
one point five million dollars. Here's the good one. And
you all know my Melanie is a teacher, but the
wife's the teacher wife always Sorry I slipped on that.
The Ohio Education Association, the Teachers Union from Ohio gave

(09:43):
one million dollars. The NEA, the National Teachers Union gave
one point five million dollars.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
Uh the Ohio.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
Then there was some in kind money seven hundred and
fifty five thousand total Common Cause Ohio in Red Wine
in Blue, a Cleveland area Democrat advocacy organization, all gave
in count in kind.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
Now here's the other one.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
And we know he makes great movies, but why in
the world is he dabbling in the state of Ohio.
Steven Spielberg and his wife Kate Capshaw gave fifty thousand
dollars each to the campaign.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
Wow. Wow, look we are over twenty million.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
If you I've been sitting here, twenty three million, twenty
three million total.

Speaker 3 (10:30):
You broke it down there. I was adding it up
on the.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
I mean, this is it's West Coast, East Coast coming
in again to Ohio and try to change the way
our state is run.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
And once again, do you feel because I already feel
it's going to pass?

Speaker 3 (10:47):
No, no, what okay?

Speaker 1 (10:49):
But I feel like they're already they're making it confusing
on how to vote.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
They're doing it again.

Speaker 4 (10:56):
Exactly what they're going to do unbelievable. And also, here's
what it sounds good, right in jerrymandering. You know, people
who are familiar with jerrymandering, you know, we've talked about
that it's goofy, right, you know we we've acknowledged that
that you can have an intellectual conversation about why in

(11:18):
the hell is there one you know, I'm in the
same district as somebody eighty six miles away that their
socioeconomics is nothing like mine. I got that. That's a
fair conversation to have. And they're gonna tell people this
will in jerry mannering. We're gonna make jerry mandering illegal
in the constitution. What they don't tell you is your

(11:38):
overlords will be an unelected body that's appointed. Now what
is so we keep hearing about democracy? Democracy?

Speaker 3 (11:45):
Democracy exactly?

Speaker 4 (11:48):
So what is the point you're you talk about preserving democracy?
Yet unelected people will be drawing and determining who your
representatives are. How is that democracy?

Speaker 3 (12:02):
It's so funny.

Speaker 1 (12:03):
You cannot use facts, Josh, You're not allowed You're not
allowed to use facts.

Speaker 3 (12:09):
So how dare you see the mic down? I mean.

Speaker 4 (12:13):
No, it's just I don't understand how many why there
could be this many blind, dumb or just flat out
just they want to completely make sure there is only
one party in this country and that's all they'll ever be.
And you will get on your knees and you will
do as I say that what they want.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
Well, what's scary too with Kamala right now? If they
get their way, that that's they're looking for somebody with
who can just be a puppet. They clearly know that
if you know, when Trump gets it, there's not gonna
be anybody telling him.

Speaker 3 (12:46):
What to do.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
Certainly he takes he'll take direction and he takes information
and he and he does you know, like a president
is supposed to do, right, But that's what what with
Kamala there, they put this person in. There's it's so
funny that people are like, man, isn't that crazy how
that works out?

Speaker 3 (13:03):
No, it's not crazy. It's on purpose.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
The way that they've done this, every single it is
all planned from the from the end result backwards.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
It is exactly what they're trying to do here.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
And some people that first were going, I can't believe
that's the best they got with Kadala.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
That's the best they got.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
And then you got people saying there's no way she
They've given up. The Democrats have given up. They know
that they're going to lose this election. People saying that
at the beginning. I don't think anybody's saying that now.
Well at first, when people were going, yeah they I
feel like they just gave up, uh and they just
put they installed her because she's going to be the

(13:44):
sacrificial lamb. Oh yeah sorry you lost or whatever. Now,
Skei Dadel You know, I don't think that's the case.
I think they think she can win. I think they
think she can win, you.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
Know, and that definitely wasn't the case three weeks ago,
two weeks go, whenever that happened. And I just you know,
it's also interesting you never heard much about Project twenty
twenty five till the day after the debate, and the
Democrats said, oh my god, we can we can't win

(14:16):
with Joe Biden. So they've got to latch onto this,
you know. And the President Trump is is, you know,
debut the whole thing now. And the gentleman resigned yesterday.
I guess I saw somewhere on a news clip that
you know, he's resigned.

Speaker 3 (14:29):
But that fear factors that the Liberals and the.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
Democrats put on us and do that to the citizens
of Ohio.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
It's just it's it's awfuler and lie, it's a lot,
it's all smoking mirror.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
Let me, I can't reiterate this enough.

Speaker 4 (14:45):
And go ahead and say it's hyperbole, say I'm being
a drama queen.

Speaker 3 (14:48):
Whatever.

Speaker 4 (14:50):
I think this is really going to be the last
election in the sense of you actually have a choice
election that we may ever have if Kamala wins, because
if they do, you know, the next step is blanket
mass overnight citizenship, amnesty for all illegals Airgo, making it

(15:13):
sure no Republican will ever be elected again in this country.

Speaker 3 (15:17):
That is a scary thought.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
That's what you're up against, ye traffickan weather together from
day and night, heating and coolid
