Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, the conversation.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
It seems like all day today the Joint Session of
Congress happened last night. Trump knocked it out of the park,
to say the least, And it seems like even the
legacy media today, at least starting out, we're kind of
saying the Democrats were out of line. If you look
at a lot of the different takes on the way
things went last night. Now we all know that that's

(00:23):
the case, especially if you watched it, and at any point.
I cannot believe the lack of participation at every single
point that the President made last night, including all of
the heartstrings that different types of things that would tug
at the normal person who had a soul, and the

(00:45):
fact that it didn't do anything for the Democrats. They
sat there almost like there they had orders, like marching
orders or don't you dare eat what.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
They react, don't you do that kind of a thing.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
Did you hear that that the twenty two different Democrats
all reading the same script as if they were having
an idea something is going on. Yeah, I mean, it's
another Gravi toss moment, is all it is. They were told,
here's what you were supposed to do, and so They
all went in there and followed their little marching orders,
and they looked like clowns. Elizabeth Warren, who wants five

(01:19):
more years of war? Do you want five more years
of war? She actually said yes, she said yes.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
GOP strategist Bob Clegg is joining us. Now that's that
laugh that we heard.

Speaker 4 (01:31):
Bob.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Welcome to the show. I haven't talked to you in
a while.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
Are you talking about Pocahonna?

Speaker 3 (01:36):
Yeah? Oh, I can't believe he did that to Pocahonta
says yes, I love it.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
He was throlling them the entire night.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Mark and I were talking before the show. Here you
can tell us who was the one eyed flying purple
people eater.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
I'm not sure that is. I don't know, what do
you guys say?

Speaker 1 (01:59):
I don't know, trying to figure it out.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
I was, you know, I was going back and forth
with Congressman Balterson.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
He was.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
He was sending me stuff during as a matter of fact,
and I think it was available. It might have been
available to the regular public. But I saw that. I
freaked Stony out, my son Stone, because I go, hey,
you want to read the speech? And he's like what,
And I'm like here, and he starts looking at and
I go just follow along. He was flipping out. He
was flipping out. It was really cool. It was really cool.

(02:29):
But uh yeah, I was going to send a picture
of her to him and go who is this because
there's a lot I'm not sure who it is, but
that was. There were a lot of different Now there's
gonna be a ton of memes I think out there with.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
Her because the purple haired woman.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Yes, yes, that's what.

Speaker 4 (02:46):
Yeah, that Rose Dealoreo from Connecticut.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
Okay, of course she is.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
I mean the appearance tells you that you really don't.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Have to tell us.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Yeah, of course she's from Connecticut, of course she yeah, yeah, Wow, Wow, gosh.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Where do we start here?

Speaker 2 (03:02):
I think you know, the full hatred on display last
night for everybody to see from the left, I mean,
the fact the thing that was the final straw for me,
because I gotta be honest, and I know you're probably
and we'll get your thoughts here.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
But I know you had to be thinking.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
You had to not be surprised by the non reaction
from the left all the way through most of that.
When DJ, the thirteen year old battling brain cancer for years,
you see how happy he was being sworn in as
an honorary Secret Service agent. He ended up he ended
up giving him, Yeah, he ended up giving him. He
gave him a hug and Sean current and I'm not crying,

(03:44):
you're crying. I mean it was it was crazy. It
was crazy that they didn't react at all. They just
sat there a bunch of idiots.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Oh my god, is unbelievable.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
You cannot be the party if we feel your pain,
we understand your kitchen table issues, We're just like you,
and then sit there, cold hearted and unresponsive for that
whole speech. It can't it can't be done.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
Their hate for Donald Trump overrules everything. It overrules normal thinking,
It overrules good politics. I mean, the President talked about
eighty twenty in their country, you know, and they are too.

(04:28):
They hate him so much they won't even be on
the side of eighty percent of Americans.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
I was saying too that they're not right now standing
with Ukraine. They're not for Ukraine. There against Trump. That's
what everybody posting those stupid, you know, pictures of the flag,
the Ukrainian flag and all of that.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
It's just it's Trump hate, that's it.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
It.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Trump's everything.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
Mark It's it's bizarre they you know, Trump wants peace
in the in the Ukraine and all that, they're against it.
They want to keep fighting. But then in the Middle
East He's saying, well, let let Israel go ahead and
take care of Hamas, and they go no, no, no, no,
we want peace, we want to cease fires. And it's

(05:12):
like whatever stance he takes, they automatically react against. How
can you know what, Yes, it's going to cause them
more and more political damage. You know what I say,
Let him keep digging that hole deeper.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
How can you have a soul and not have that
touch you?

Speaker 2 (05:30):
That moment with DJ watching him and how he was ecstatic,
he was beside himself. Nobody saw that coming. And then
to have the FBI director standing there and then him
hug him. I'm telling you, dude, I got emotional watching that,
and I was thinking, and I was talking to Zach
Attack about this book.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
Earlier in the day.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
I said, you know, I don't know what it is
about certain things like that, just it just rips me apart.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
When I see that, I just melt. I'm like a
puddle of goo.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
And I feel like, possibly because I have a son
around that age and I envisioned the same kind of
a thing. But to watch him light up, I don't
know how any of the Demo. They are soulless man,
every one of them. And I if you're one of
those people and you wanted to, you know, stand up
and clap during that or whatever, I feel like, I

(06:18):
don't know how your constituents, even if they're all heartless,
I don't know how they hold you accountable in a situation.
It's unbelievable that that went off the way that it
did last night. Every single facet of everything he said,
no reaction, and if there wasn't a reaction, it was
holding up those stupid paddles with different sayings all over them.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
I thought it was so great, going on stupid.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
I just love it. I mean, Donald Trump had completely
unhinged the whole Democrat Party. And I don't know if
you guys saw or not, but earlier this week Shared
Brown did an article in the New Republic and talked
about how the Democrat Party had to become the working
class party again. Well, you know what, They're never going

(07:02):
to be the working class party when they want to
transition kids and they want to have an open border
and you know, there are so many positions that the
Democrat Party forces on their members that they're never going
to get elected again. But they just keep going on

(07:22):
doing this. If Shared Brown would have come out against
trans you know, kids, and against an open border, they
would have turned on him in a heartbeat, and he
would even got through a primary. So, I mean, they's stuff.
There's stuck in this, this alternate political universe that the
American people do.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
Not want Bob Plague, GOP strategist joining us right now.
We're talking about the Joint Session of Congress. Of course
last night the mini State of the Union, if you will,
and Rep. Al Green is that the best you got?
DEM's I mean articles of impeachment again, That's what I
couldn't believe. I was just like, you just look like

(08:03):
a stupid old man. Will you knock it off already?

Speaker 3 (08:06):
I just now finished watching it again. I've watched it
about ten times so far. We're talking about expressions and
the way people did or didn't do things. The people
behind him, they're frozen faces. They were all just sitting
there like, please please don't let the president see me,
Please don't let.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
The president look at me.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
And Donald Trump that look from the podium when Al
Green started off, Donald Trump just looking and you can
see what's going through his mind. Yeah, and find out.

Speaker 4 (08:36):
You know, I just loved his cane pointing when he
was pointing at a thrum once again, another crazy member.
I love it these you know, this beach highlighted all
the crazy members that they have. What about the woman
in pink with this? This isn't normal, Fox, this is

(08:59):
not normal.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (09:01):
Yeah, It's like the guy crossed the aislem it and
threw it on the ground.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
And then it's like, yeah, you're right, this is not normal.
What you guys are doing is far from normal. This
isn't even considered like yeah, they're taking a stand. It's
just become bizarre.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
It's on that kind of on that level right now.
They don't know where to begin against forty seven.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
His plan is so comprehensive, they just don't know where
to begin. And the yeah, the greatest comeback is happening
right now in front of our eyes in political history.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
They don't know where to begin. The comprehensive plan and
so on.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
I think we have, Zach, do you have I think
we have a clip of is this where Representative Green
is thrown.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
Is this the one we have one of the right. Okay, yeah,
listen to this, listen to this.

Speaker 5 (09:46):
Yeah we do, mister Green, take your seat. Take your seat, sir,
take your seat. Finding the members continue to engage in
willful and concert it a often or proper decorum. The
chair now directs a sergeant at arms to restore order.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
So good.

Speaker 3 (10:11):
You know, Johnson has scored some points with me. I
wasn't real sure about him from the beginning, but he
is ready for that. He's stepping up.

Speaker 4 (10:19):
He was prepared, and you know, once again, let him
keep digging that hole deeper. I'm all for it.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
Hey, Zach, I know you guys caught me mid drink.
I know, Zach you have you have a couple more
pieces of sound. Let's go ahead and run another piece
of sound that you had. I don't have them right
in front of me exactly what you have.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
But let's run. This is, of course from last night.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
Likewise small business optimism.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
So it's single largest.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
One month game ever recorded, a forty one point jump.

Speaker 5 (10:57):
Members are directed to hold and maintain the korub in
the house and to cease any further disruptions that you're warning.

Speaker 1 (11:05):
I don't know. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
I thought there were going to be more disruptions than
there actually were.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
I unless I missed something, I don't know where where.
What did you think on that, Bob?

Speaker 4 (11:14):
Yeah, Mark, I'm totally with you on that. I thought
for sure once Al Green got carted off, I thought
for sure somebody else would try to do the same thing.
And they really did it, And I wish they had
because it would have made it even more of a
bizarre side show. But yeah, I think the members started

(11:36):
realizing at some point this isn't working, but they couldn't
bring themselves to just let go of it. They held
onto it and they just looked more and more terrible
as that speech went on.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
I don't know where you're at, you guys, where you
guys were at on this last night? I was I
was fascinated. I wanted to go right. I kinda I
got it. We're gonna gonna drift off here. And I
could not stop watching it was Yeah, it really was
musty TV. It was really really good to watch. It
was so solid from top to bottom. He is his

(12:15):
best form.

Speaker 4 (12:16):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (12:17):
I just don't know, there is there is not a
better version of Donald Trump. On this earth than what
we witnessed last night.

Speaker 4 (12:24):
I'll tell you, Mark, that was the most enjoyable, you know,
Joint Session or State of the Union speeches I've ever seen.
And it was a combination of what you just said,
Donald Trump is a master at doing these kinds of things,
and then it just the added enjoyment of the Democrats

(12:46):
just totally screwing up their whole thing just made it.
It made it you know much, CTV. I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (12:56):
It just was most importantly here and forgetting about the
Demos and even our presidents to some extent. The really
important thing to me was after that speech, the polling
numbers showed the American people got it. Seventy six percent
of CBS viewers responded favorably to the speech. Sixty nine
percent of CNN viewers responded favorably to the speech. So

(13:18):
that makes me feel better about my country, because, frankly,
I've spent four years failing, like I am completely surrounded
by idiots. I'm thinking, you know what, maybe some of
them are getting some oxygen. Now.

Speaker 4 (13:29):
Wow, I'll tell you what, Chuck. That is due to
all the alternative media we now have. The mainstream media
no longer controls the narrative and people are learning what's
really going on and they're responding accordingly.

Speaker 2 (13:47):
Hey, with all of the standing up and clapping and
sitting down and standing up and clapping, including Speaker Johnson
and Vice President Vance, Nobody's Apple watch was saying please
move right now.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
A lot of that last night. There's a question about that.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
He's GOLP strategist Bob Clegg and Bob, thanks for jumping
on with us.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
Brother. Looking forward to having you in the studio next week. Man,
I look forward to it.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
Very cool, all right, brother, take care there he is,
and uh, yeah.

Speaker 1 (14:17):
Gosh, it was. It was just so good watching that
last night.

Speaker 3 (14:22):
Seventy six percent approval on CBS. That's a network that
loves to hate on Donald Trump. Seventy six percent of
the people watching this on their network had favorable responses.
I'm loving it.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
Hard to believe they didn't spend that somehow and that
it made the saw the light of day. I mean,
I can't, I can't believe it. But proofs in the
pudding is this
