Speaker 1 (00:01):
A whistle, and it's time for Ellison Bradley's Float them
or Flush up?

Speaker 2 (00:07):
What flush?

Speaker 3 (00:12):
Here's Ellison Bradley with this morning's Float him or flusham letter. Yeah,
this week's episode presented by our friends at Benjamin Franklin Plumbing.
Here goes Dear Ellison Bradley. I said yes last week
to a man I've been in a relationship with for
three years. He's forty two. I'm a few years younger.
What I did know about Paul is that he'd been
married once before, so was I. It's one of the

(00:35):
many things we had in common. The other I thought
was the truth had to be at the center of
our relationship, right, I mean, you've been married sixteen years?
A true?

Speaker 4 (00:45):
YEA true?

Speaker 3 (00:45):
Hey truth?

Speaker 5 (00:46):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
We were both hurt before because we had been lied
to and cheated on. He brought his sister and brother
in law to Greenville to be a part of his
surprise proposal. Now, Paul's sister got into the wine that
evening and whisper to me, I like you so much
better than his last two wives. Ohoo, two wives, two wives.

(01:07):
I'm getting this news at a restaurant just an hour
after he put a ring on my finger. Well, we
got home, he knew I was upset. I told him
what his sister had said, and y'all, he said to
me that his second wife, in his words, didn't count
because she was a rebound choice, and that he's always
had trouble getting over his first wife. I couldn't get

(01:28):
that ring off my finger fast enough. I broke it
off with Paul. Now he's been calling, texting, sending flowers
ever since. He wants me back. Should I take him back?
We're asking here, could third time be a charm for
Jeanie if she floats this thing with Paul or Beth?
Should she flush this guy?

Speaker 4 (01:47):
Well, here's my first of all, we don't have enough
information because I've got questions about the how long the
second marriage last? How long the first marriage? Are there kids?
I've got deeper questions. But she did the right thing
by taking the ring off. Now, if she wants to
let him start over from the beginning and let him
work his way back up there, that's up to her.
I don't know. I'm not oppoosed to that.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
This is the only lie. What do you guys think
we need to hear from you? Right now? Eight hundred
and five to two nine seven seven five. Give us
your thoughts. Your calls are coming up on floating refleshingm
here on the Ellison Browdie Show.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
All needs to be flushed.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
Really flush this guy. You don't like the fact that
he lied about wife number two?

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Ah, No, once a liar, always a liar. He's had
another self.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
You're gonna get You're going to get a lot of
this for sure, Thank you man.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
First off, best wise, beyond her years, there's always not
enough information. But i'd say, you know, don't throw it
away completely, but maybe take a step back. Yeah, so
she's right there, but yeah, I get more information. I
know that me and my baby sister are the product
of my mom's third marriage and my dad second and

(02:51):
they've been married since.

Speaker 5 (02:54):
Eighty one. Wow, Wow, you know, I mean you can
you can, Yeah, can still work out, But you know,
I think things need to be talked about, things need
to be reassessed, and we got to get back to
that honesty.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
Because you know, she's right about it. If you're not
starting with honesty, you know the foundation.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
Yeah, it only gets harder, that's true.

Speaker 5 (03:14):
Thank you guys for the best.

Speaker 6 (03:16):
I'm going to say, flush them because he lied. I
mean that was something simple to like, why would you
even lie with something simple about that? And I mean
it's gonna be future arguments in everything, and so no,
I would say flush them.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
I think you that girls shows to lush him because
he's a liar, Like what, we don't trust liars.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
Don't trust liars.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Have you personally been lied to in a relationship to
that agree to wait them? I guess we've all been. Yes,
it's the degree of the lie.

Speaker 4 (03:48):
I guess that.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Like when you're telling her that you've been married once
when you've been married twice, isn't a little white.

Speaker 6 (03:58):
The big lie?

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Meny cupcakes say you only two?

Speaker 6 (04:01):
Is not?

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Okay? Yeah, that's a cupcake thing. That's a different deal.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Well, my car luncle of people says she needs to flush.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
So you got a car load of people that you're
all flushers or flushers.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
We say, she can't trust him anymore and she needs
to be careful. Who's to say she's not the rebound?

Speaker 6 (04:18):
Now?

Speaker 4 (04:18):
Oh see?

Speaker 5 (04:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (04:20):
Maybe the way he said you never got over his
first wife? Is he over now that mine two?

Speaker 3 (04:23):
Is the rebound? Didn't take it?

Speaker 6 (04:25):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (04:25):
Right, I'm with her goods.

Speaker 6 (04:27):
Good point.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Okay, look, I had a what was I think in
marriage one time and it was less than a year,
but I didn't forget to count it.

Speaker 4 (04:37):
We don't get mulligans in marriage.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
You have to count your strokesically.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
There would have to be a real good explanation more
than oops, I forgot because it was a rebound my
last husband. I was his fifth wife and he was
my third husband.

Speaker 5 (04:52):
So you know, there.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
Certainly is a level of hope springs eternal.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
You could probably send us by seventy eight letters for
floating every week, all.

Speaker 5 (05:04):
Day long, all day long.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
But I'm like I now, y'all know, I'll put my
business out there in the heartbeat. I've talked about some
stuff folks my friend college.

Speaker 5 (05:11):
That please tell me you wan't on the radio top
so you know I have.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
But but some of that stuff I just am going
to keep to myself. I mean, I don't mind being crazy,
but I don't want to look that crazy. Flush Flush flush,
I say.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
Flush him.

Speaker 6 (05:25):
If he's lying in the beginning about something as big
as a marriage, she's going to continue tell about little things.
Take the ring off and walk away.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
Girl, When did.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
The funny she didn't give the ring back, Yeah.

Speaker 5 (05:38):
Something to remember it by, Yeah Yeah,
