If you're not hyped up, if you're not ready for
Fantasy football yet, then you have no chance to winning.
In two thousand eighteen, broadcasting live from Studio thirty four
right here in midtown Manhattan. It is the Fantasy Football
Frenzy on fn T s Y Radio. I know you
got drafts this weekend. I know it's time to get

(01:04):
it done. I know you're excited. I need you on
the telephone lines eight four four eight four three sixty
seventy nine coming up on the program and day we
take your phone calls, hot and heavy and getting you
ready for your two thousand and eight team Fantasy football draft.
Fantasy Executive Fantasy task, Jim Day, I'm gonna also discuss

(01:24):
the Cleveland Brown backfield. Gonna talk about the backfield of
the Philadelphia Eagles and what they got going on. Also,
I want to drop a couple of names on y'all
while you're drafting over the weekends of players that I
do not need you to forget about. Fantasy task Jim Day,
My man, how are you, sir? Helly? I'm doing great, glory.
This is my favorite day of the year. And uh,

(01:47):
I'm definitely excited that today is the night that I
have my friends come over and draft. We watched the
Jet Giant game while we draft, and then we have
a nice poker game afterwards. It's gonna be a fun night.
Jim got the whole night plan that. I'm so you
you got tonight planning out or got tomorrow planned out? Listen,
but what we do on the Fantasy Football friends and
for these purposes. I was downstairs on the fourth floor

(02:10):
when the BFS was going down. I have a couple
of things I want to talk about somebody I'll get
to later on. I want to start with Dough the
phone calls. You gotta do better today, Hey, what's up?
How are you doing. Hey, what's going on? House everything?
Let's just get right to it. You know what I'm saying,
Let's just get right into it. Let's hop right into it.
I'm not going to pick your team, me and Jim

(02:32):
rounds one through six. Team all right, So don't say, Okay,
who do I take in the third? And then when
I come back in the fourth, and then what about
the fifth? Another thing? Draft day? Trade? If you're ready,
if you got a trade question, save it, save it,
save it, save it. I don't want to hear no
trade questions. We're concentrating on draft talk, were concentrating on
keepers all the you know, hey, what's going on? What

(02:55):
you got? No, No, we're not doing that serious business
right here. We're drafting fantasy foot ball teams. We've got
a lot of information to get out to you in
a very short amount of time. Jim, do you agree?
I do agree, Corey. I love to get right to it.
So let's do it. Start talking about it. Oh, well him, please?
Last night Cleveland Brown's backfield. I'll tell you what. I'm

(03:19):
a Nick Chubb guy. I think the talent is real.
I think he's a supreme running back. I think he's
going to be a dynamic NFL running back. I don't
know if that's gonna happen in two thousand and eighteen, though,
because right now I got to Mt. Carlos Hide, venturous
guy is getting the job done in this backfield. Looks
like he's gonna lead this backfield. What I would ask
you is this, it's Chubb a complimentary piece that you
put on your bench and hold onto because he could

(03:40):
pop or I see nothing more than the handcuff at
this point. I didn't even think he's a handcuff at
this point. You know right now how it is there, guy,
There's no doubt in my mind. I've been saying that
all off season as well. I have about seventy eight
shares of him because he's always been such good value,
so that time much I really mean to him. Um,
And he look great last night. He had a couple

(04:01):
of nice runs. He looks shifty, he does what he does.
He's always been a better running back than he's gotten
credit for. So I really like him. And you know
I'm with you on Chubb. I like Chubb's talent long term.
I think we don't really see it until twenty nineteen.
Hides contract is probably gonna end up being a one
year contract because they gotta have Chubb. And I think

(04:21):
we really start to see Chubb coming into his own
last next year. This year, I just don't see it
unless Hide goes down, and that's not really something he
concerns me about. I ain't there ego right there, and
I tendn't to agree with Jim, even though I think
the town is real. I'm still gonna draft Chubb. I'll
be honest with you. I may hold him by by
by by the time we get to October first, though.

(04:41):
If I don't see nothing goodbye, I'm not gonna fool
with you like I did Corey Davis last year and
kept his ass till a week four teen and then
I'm got him on the bench and he have seventy
five y'all touchdown. I'm not gonna happen. Not gonna be me.
I'm not gonna get fooled by that again this year.
That's one of the reasons I love best fall leagues. Yeah, yeah,
there you go, Jim. That makes sense that that that
is very true. Um So another running backs, Jim, the

(05:07):
Eagles running backs yuck not yuck about the guys and
the talent. I think it's enough talent in the group.
But Peterson is gonna go. He does not even gonna
go with the hot hand. He's just gonna mix it up.
Is there anything that you've seen in Philadelphia that people
can look at on draft Day and say, Okay, this
is the way to go as an r B two
and you can feel safe and comfortable. No, nobody on

(05:30):
the team I think is an RB two, And I
wouldn't draft any of these guys as an RB two.
But if I'm drafting, I'm drafting a J I like
the gy e behind this offensive line. He'll have them
some bad games, but he'll have some games where he
just kicks but and he scores a couple of long
touchdowns with that offensive line intact. And you know, we
didn't see that offensive line intact last night. They played

(05:52):
like heck um. I really would like to see them
turning around, and they will, so I'm not really that
worried about it. But I'm much refer having him as
a running back three flex option that I do a
running back to a full four, A four, three, six, eight,
seven nine. Let's get ready to pop the seal on
a big Fantasy football draft weekend. Your phone call is
very important today. Let's start with Jesse in New Jersey.

(06:15):
What up, Jesse? Ain't nothing much showing. How can we
help you? Oh, I got a cool question for you.
I'm drafting number eight in a sports Man all right, Uh,
do you have a problem with going to running back.
I don't have a beef for going running back. Running
back right here, coming out this a hole. I like
Melvin Gordon. When you come back on the other side,

(06:35):
you could have Christian McCaffrey sitting there. Um. I know
Jim had the big DeVante Freeman guy. I still like him,
but you may have to go and get comb in
a little bit earlier this season. You know the concussion issues, So,
like I said, CMC could be there. Um, I don't
think Dalvin Cook falls at that point. If you're a
Joe Mixing guy, which I'm not, you can pull Mixing up.
Hell listen, if you like Jordan Howard, you're not gonna

(06:55):
have a chance to get him in the third round.
You can put him right there to the second. I
got no beef coming out at eight. Whole alb all b.
Unless I'm passing on DeVante Adams to take a running back. Okay,
the atom love is never gonna wait, no, it's not. Jim.
What do you think about all Jesse's question here? Hey,

(07:16):
I love it. I mean I've had the eighth hole, yeah,
a few times in the last few days, and I've
actually done I've done yeah, I know, first through four yeah. Um.
And I've actually gone this way in two different drafts.
In two nights. I went Dalvin Cook at the eighth pick,
and then I came back and got Christie McCaffrey on
the turn. I love that start there you go right there, Jesse,

(07:38):
good looking at my man? Good luck this weekend? Eight
full four eight four three six eight seven one. Let's
get the Andrew in New York. Andrew, what up, Corey?
How's it going? What's good with your Andrew House? Everything good?
First time calling in? I thought you Twitter mentioned the
other week all right? Cool was Oh, I'm I'm glad
to have you. Glad that that all you can hop
us on the phone first time long time? Was good

(07:59):
with you? All right? So I have a two part questions.
So I had my first draft last weekend. It was
a sixteen team league. Yes, So my first question is that,
so I want to tell you just quickly. My first
couple of picks. I drafted what I think could happen,
not what was currently going on. So for example, I
packed on Doug Baldwin, I'm Marii Cooper, and I reached

(08:21):
for Royce Freeman in the third round because I think
I'm not saying he will be, but I have a
feeling he could be similar to what Kareem hunted last year.
And it's such a deep league at a strong RB
two third round for Freeman in the six team league,
I have no beef with that. What else have we got? Okay,
so let me tell you my quickly my team. So
I went Todd Gurley one, Tree Hill two, Royce Freeman three,

(08:42):
mark Ingram, which I would never do. But I drafted
again thinking week five, drop Bard and Chris Carson and
Trey Burton and Big Ben as my quarterback. UM. I
like it. I wish I had a better wide receiver too,
but I think overall running back depth is important. And
in deep league, what do you guys think, who's the
other receiver after Hill? Uh, Tyreek, Kale, Josh Gordon, Mike

(09:05):
Williams and Michael Gallant. I don't have I don't have
I don't have no beef. For a matter of fact,
I like the way it sounds in the six in
the sixteen team league. I think you handled this one
pretty good. What do you think, Jim, Hey, I think
he nailed a good job all the way around that.
I love those wide receivers. You know, everybody knows we
like Williams here, and you know I like Hill a lot.
So I don't think you did a bad spot there.

(09:25):
A good job. Yes, there you go, very good, Andrew.
I'm I must say that so far, so good. Look
at this interesting? What else you got else? Calling? Next
week again? I have some couple of the drafts this weekend,
and I think I'm gonna be a little bit more
on the safe side instead of being on the risky side,
because sometimes based on format, I kind of changed my draft,

(09:46):
no doubt about it. That's a small fantasy football player
right there. Good luck and hit us up next week
eight eight, four, three seventy nine. Let's go to Randy
and Brooklyn. Were Brooklyn at what up? Randy was going on?
My brother? What's up with you? My man? Uh? Quick questions?
I got my big money leave. We're not gonna talk

(10:07):
about Jimmy Graham. Okay, we're not gonna talk about Jimmy Grahan.
But I am I am real, I am real high
on Y Andrew Luck. How do you feeling about those guys?
I love it. I love it. I know Luck, I mean,
I know Hilton a little bit banged up right now.
And Luck's coming off the bad game last week. But
if everybody going right and like that mid second, but

(10:29):
Ty is living in the second round now. The only
other wide receiver I like more is um Davante Adams,
t Y Hilton. If you get if you give t
Y Hilton sixteen games of Andrew Luck, t Y Hilton
will finished is a top five Fantasy wide receiver. I
guarantee you that make sense? Makes sense? Well you got

(10:51):
Jim Now, I went to your Cary. We we've talked
about this infinite. If Luck is healthy, I think both
of these guys put up huge numbers of this ship.
What you got, Randy? Uh? Not's about it? I mean
as far as the like you know, the third fourth tier,
I mean third fourth tier like fourth round, fourth final,
fifth round running back? What do you what do you
think clans out the most the third When you say

(11:15):
the third fourth tier around you're looking at and running
back about about like four fifth round running back. I
mean that's where that's where it starts to get ugly
right there. And that's the kind of way in the
area where you gotta start too warm to or take
some risks and take some gambles on players in that
fourth fifth round area, running backs that you know high upside,
but we really don't know what's safe about him. Jim,

(11:37):
you can't even running back to that area. That come
to my mind right now, because I'm trying to draft
wide receivers in that area. I'll actually go with a
couple of running backs that you can get even later
than that that I really like, and that's Marshawn Lynch
and Carlos side Um. I expect big things out of
both of these guys this year. You know, we finally
saw Lynch really start to click at the end of
the season. I think Hyde is built for this Cleveland offense.

(11:57):
With those wide receivers outside, nobody's gonna be able to
key in on him. I think he has an excellent
year this year. And you can get both of those
guys in the sixth and the seventh round. There you
go right there. Um uh there you go right there ready,
So you good luck this upcoming weekend eight four four
eight four three sixty eight seventy nine telephone number to
get involved off to a hot start right now on

(12:19):
the frenzy gym. And I want to circle back right quick.
Do you think there's gonna be another player outside of
Jack Doyle that can emerge in that passing game for
the Indianapolis coach? I know we touched on Ebron a
little bit yesterday, but you know, Ebron, I think it's
gonna be hit or miss at times, more like a
tight end two style. A dude, think you have some
fancy value throughout the course of the season. But when

(12:41):
I'm more concerned with is there a guy Nowaday, especially
now the cane is is toward the A C L
and he he's going, Is there a guy that you
can say this is a diamond in the rough when
you get to the bye weeks, you're gonna be slotting
this guy in. But it like this, Does Indianapolis have
a Robby Anderson on their team? No? They don't, Actually
I don't think they do. Um. Ryan Grant is going

(13:03):
to be the next one up, and he should be
fantasy viable as a flex in some weeks on good
matchups because of just you know, probability of amount of
targets he should get in that offense. Again, it's predicated
on luck being healthy. Hopefully he is, but he's gonna
get his chances just because of Avling. He can't all

(13:23):
go to t Y Hilton. They have to split it up.
Ryan Grant is the number two right now. I think
he's number three in the pecking order, behind the tight end.
But I think he's there and he's gonna get plenty
of working. If I'm taking a chance on any of
these guys late, it's gonna be him A four, four, three, six, eight,
seven nine. Okay, here we go. Let's go to Bob

(13:47):
in Vermont. Good afternoon, Bob. Hey, I'm doing well, Bob
House everything. What did that? If I think Chris Brogan
is that good? I think Chris. I think Chris Hogan
is a nice pick, and like that. Maybe he's going
to be a little bit earlier than the later rounds
now Bob for him being the main guy. I would yeah,

(14:10):
for the Patriots, I would say maybe the fourth or
fifth round for Chris Hogan. Bob I didn't know you
knew who Chris Hogan was, to be honest with you, yeah,
he uh a place for the Patriots. All right, cool
one to if we received my Hold Bob, Bob, Hold up, Bob, Bob.

(14:34):
This is a big time, very important fantasy football draft weekend,
and you're calling up the fantasy football frenzy to ask
about your personal block on the court in the friend show, Bob,
Bobby making it about yourself, Bob, No, I answered, I
answer your question, and I just want but no, I
don't think. I don't think you really called me to

(14:56):
ask me about Chris Hogan. Bob. I think you called
me specifically need to ask about the blog. Now I'm
gonna pick him. I want to pick them in my draft,
all right. Okay, Bob, you picked Chris Hogan and your
and your and your I just heard pick him in
the fifth round. And I just heard from Christy Bone,
and I heard from Bones and Bovona that they half

(15:17):
received your blog. Okay, thank you. I appreciate that, all right, Right,
the other day didn't do it. I'm sorry, Quarry in
my pal still friend. I know I'm your friend and
I'm always your friend, Bob, but the goon squad is
kind of like, what the hell is going on? Oh?
The goon squad? Okay, okay, that's fine, yes, yeah, oh yeah,

(15:42):
your friend Landa said your body yes, yeah right, he
says I didn't have a mouthful of helium. Yeah, he
talked a lot of trash. Bob, don't worry about it, right,
he really does, Bob. I'm gonna let you go enjoy
your weekend. Make sure with the Carton and Friends lives
tream on Sunday at noon at twelve at twelve noon

think about it, all right, Bob, Bob, Hang up, Bob, Bob,
Hang up, Bob. Okay, all I love Bob and Vermont.

(16:28):
You know what I'm saying. We're talking about drafts drafted
Jim and Bob is like, did y'all getting my blog?
You know what I'm saying. It was important to him.

so when I got it, I like his initiative. I
love the initiative of my man. Bob and Vermont, Bob,
enjoy your weekend. All right, So we're coming up on
our first break of the day. What we're gonna do

(16:50):
is when we come back, I want to talk a
little quickly about different strategies that people have on draft day.
You know, we don't get jim is big draftics. Tonight
we'll see if he had that strategies with different m
what's the word I'm looking for. Tendencies, habits, rituals, draft
day rituals, things you do every draft day. You can

(17:12):
add that to the list now too. If you got
a draft day ritual eight four four, four three six
A seven nine. But don't call an acts about your blog.
Fantasy football friends, the f and CS. What already? Let's go.

coming up this weekend. As soon as I leave here today,
I'm going back up town. I'm gonna get them on
my computer. I gonna update my rankings and you have
them for your draft weekend. But that's only if you're
a subscriber to the Voto Rex Versus Schoolsive Edge Fantasy
Football Package from a Code Frenzy. Print my rankings out,
take them right to your draft with you, Jim, how

(18:36):
about that? Or you don't take mind you have yours,
I'll take your I knew you was gonna do that.
I'm trying to sell it, but I knew you were
gonna do that. You know what I think of you
as a fantasy player. This is just radio man, no
doubt about it, my man, Jim Day eight four eight
four three six eight seven nine. I let's go before

(18:59):
we get to the owns Gym High Holy Day, your
favorite day of the year, your fantasy football draft day.
Do you have any rich rules? Do you have any routines,
any trends, any superstitions, anything like that that you do
on draft Day? Happy eat ribs? Okay, happy ribs for

(19:20):
the before the draft. I actually have the grill going now.
It's been growing going since about four thirty this morning,
and those suckers are gonna cook up nice and slow
all day long and just drip off the bone tonight
that came through dripping ribs gonna come through dripping I
like it. So you're gonna have rib You're gonna watch
the game, gather around, and everybody do they draft? Who

(19:42):
gonna buy the bill? Uh? Just I have an entire
refrigerator outside full of beer. There's no problem there. So
there's no problem there. We gotta get in gym Ley
next year Goon's school because they something. They're doing a
real big out in Jersey tonight, you know what I'm saying.
So you know we got we gotta beautiful day out.
It's it's been It's the prettiest day it's been all year.

(20:04):
I was outside last night. I was kicking it a
little bit later, it felt it felt beautiful outside it
with stars in the sky, and I was like, today
Friday is gonna be an excellent day. And so far
that case. So you're lucky about that, Jim. You do
have a great day to all have a fantasy football draft.
So there you go right there. Who's squad? If you
got Fantasy Richard woulfs, I would like to hear them

(20:27):
eight f f eight four three six eight seven nine.
I have Fantasy Richard rules too. Now obviously you know
me Fantasy executive. I'm a little bit more flamboyant. You
felt what I'm saying. See, especially when I when it
comes to a draft and I'm in the crib in
my computer and I'm enhanced, and I'm sitting down, you

(20:48):
know what I'm saying. I put on my draft music whatever,
and I kind of get me into the zone and
then I just bang out and just draft a great
fantasy football team. But then it's always like when I
have next Friday at this time, the live draft. I
go live draft next Friday at two o'clock. So I
gotta get somebody to hold me down for that last segment. Now,
my live drafts going squads a little bit different because

(21:09):
you see, when my live drafts, I can't just like
blaring music while I'm sitting down there drafting because it's
going to destruct and disturb the rest of the drafters.
So what I do is I contact the commissioner beforehand,
and I get my sound system set up, hill out
a couple of honeys. I get me some draft made.

(21:29):
You see what I'm saying. Because it's all about the look,
it's all about the field. You want to intimidate your opponents.
You wanta let your opponents know what's going on before
you even sit down at the draft table. So what
I do on draft ding as I grabbed my belt right,
I grabbed my championship belt because I want everybody else

(21:50):
to know who the champion is on drop my belts,
grab my grab my belt right, I throw my belt
over the shoulder and I tell my draft made. I
say draft made, let's roll, and then I say hit
the music. And when I say hit the music, the
Fantasy Executive strolls into the draft room, just strolling into

(22:11):
the draft room. That's right, that's the Gap band. That's
outstanding by the Gap Band, Just Fantasy Executive walking into
the draft room, draft maids behind him looking all hot
and sexy. Fantasy executive makes his stroll into the draft room.
Look how intimidated everybody in the room is right now

(22:32):
as the fantasy executive comes strutting in to outstanding because
I'm about the draft and outstanding Fantasy football team. See
that's how I roll into my draft and I tell
my draft mates, take the belt, the draft mads, take
the belt, and then and then I and then I
say to the draft maids, have a seat, ladies. And

(22:55):
I started looking out my opponents. What's up? Dog? What's up? Man?
How doing that's right? Coming for that championship. I'm about
to go back to back the Fantasy executive outstanding and
outstanding Fantasy football player. And then I just just roam
the room everybody to look what's up? Dog? And light

(23:16):
shines only on me right now on the draft day.
And this is the Fantasy executive draft Frickable. This is
what I'll be doing next Sunday when I step into
the Midtown Hilton to draft my auction team in the NFFC.
I know you would like to have the kind of
swag at the fantasy executive has on draft day. But
one day you'll get that kind of drip. You see

(23:38):
what I'm saying, And that's how we roll Goon squad
eight full four four three, six seventy nine. Be like
me on draft day, Jim. I don't know if anybody
could be like, uh, hey, we want to hear what
you got to do? Or draft day you want to

(23:59):
hear your a, your rules would you like to do?
Or draft day? How you get hyped up? How you
get pumped up for the draft? Or you can call
the next fancy football question eight four three six eight
seven nine. Let's go to my man John in North Carolina? John?
What up? Hey? What's up? How are you fellas doing?
I killed him in the draft room, John, I kill
him in the draft room at damn d everything he

(24:22):
doesn't use. What's up? John? Hey, what's going on? I
got a two cool questions for you guys. That's cool?
What's up? So? I was looking as looking in the
early rounds? Is there ever a world right in point
five PPR where you take Christian McCaffrey over cook or
for net? Is that ever a thing are you always

(24:46):
have taken? I'm always me and myself firstally, I'm always
going to take those two guys over the over over McCaffrey,
even with you know God, I mean with the banged
up Anchor and Cook coming back from the A C
L T. They're just two better running backs all through
a seconds year. Guys. I like Cook situation better. I
like for in that situation better. I think both of
them the better players. Don't get me wrong. I like

(25:07):
Christian McCaffrey. I'm gonna see m see guy. I got
see him see you on a couple of my teams
so far this year, Jim, but I can't go down
and Cooking and Christian McCaffrey I haven't yet, but I
wouldn't fault to anybody for doing it. Look, it comes
down to which guy you believe in, because with those
three guys, more than likely you're not gonna get both,
don't day. I just told you I did that. That's

(25:28):
because I reached for Cooking the first or at least
most people think I reached for him. If you want
too of those guys, go do it. You know, it
really comes down to what you like. Don't listen to
anybody else, I mean, take their thoughts in, but make
your own decisions. That's what I tell everybody there you
go right there, all right, a full full you've got
another one? All you good? Yeah? Yeah. I got a
second question for you guys. So I try to go

(25:51):
for a late round like super super late round flyer,
and I got four wide receivers in my radar. Uh
if you guys can rank these, wonderfour your preferences? All right,
late late round. I'm looking at John Ross, Christian Kirk,
d J. Moore or Cordelle Patterson. I gotta go d J. Moore.
I think d J. Moore has a chance to get
more talkers in Carolina than the rest of the crew does.

(26:12):
I would go and then you said Pattison last, I
would go more Kirk, Ross Patterson. What do you think, Jim,
I'd actually go. I'd actually go Patterson over Ross, but
before and Kirk would definitely be one too. All right,
So there you go right there. All right, thanks a lot,
my man for calling us. Have a good good luck
and um have a good season. All just holler backing us.
We're not going nowhere. Sessa is in Arizona? What up? Sessa? Hey?

(26:36):
What up? Man? What's because my question is about I
have my draft yesterday it was at the night pick
Gordon Hood Mixing Rogers with my first fourth cake Hunt Mixing,
and then Aaron Rodgers, Melvin Gordon and Kareem Hunt Joe
Mixican Aaron Rodgers, and I'm cool with that. Who's gonna
be your wide receivers though? I got Cooper Gorton, Benjamin

(27:02):
Cooper and who Cooper, Josh Gordon and Kelvin Benjamin. You
wide receivers all risky, but I love it. I have
no beef with it. So the way you started this one,
SESSI what do you think, Jim, Well, I think the
Gordon he has it's not Melvin Gordon, it's Josh Gordon.
So you were putting them at the running back, I

(27:22):
think he got both Gordon's, Sessa. You got you got
Melvin and Josh Gordon. Yeah, yeah, you got both goods. Okay,
Well then I like your running backs. But I agree
with with Corey as you took a lot of risk
on the wide receivers, not that they can't pay off,
but I usually like to have one of those risks,
not three. Yeah, there you go, right there, Thanks a lot, Sessa.

(27:44):
Eight four four eight four three six eight seven nine.
Let's go to TEAMO in Louisiana or is that l
A Yeah, TEMO and Los Angeles TEAMO? What upon the
second to every TEAMO? You better stop playing with me, son,

(28:06):
I've been what do you say, tvo, I've been hearing
you and uh yeah, that was the best show in
the history of serious x in fantasy sports radio might
have been the best show in the history of serious
sex in. But they didn't know how to handle it.
So they had to this band. They had to this band,

(28:28):
the group. Nobody still has been smart enough to put
me rousing and um and Scott back together again. But
that's on. Then, what's up? Well? That was the best
time up offensive line? How did how did that? Share?
You with Elliott? I think Zeke is a beast, and
I think Zeke is a type of running back that

(28:49):
makes the office a line better. Obviously the office line
is very key. I don't like the way the unit
looks right now. It was more like a mass unit.
But if they is, that group comes together and gets Coheed,
so they're going to carry all Ezekie Elliott and they'll
carry the Dallas Cowboys. So I'm not what's up, my man?
I'm not downgrading Zeke Zeke too much because of the

(29:10):
injuries on his office and line. Jim, Yeah, I don't.
I don't downgrade Zeke at all. He's a playmaker. He's
gonna make his own plays at a time, so it
really doesn't bother me. I think the guy who's gonna
be hurt by it right now is dac Um. If
this osfects can't, if this line can't protect him, I
think he's the one who's gonna be in trouble. I
don't really think it affects Zeke as much as people are,

(29:33):
you know, reacting to yep, And I don't And I
agree with Jim on that. All right, all timo, good
looking at my man? I at you eight four four
eight four three six a seven nine. Jan is in Texas?
What up? Jan? I think it's saying, Okay, my bad
saying I got jam in my calling and what's good?
Would you? All right? What's going on? Guys? And nothing chilling?

(29:54):
What's up? I got a dynasty question? Okay, we're drafting
King on Saturday and I've got the second pick. My
team is more Las even I don't really need anybody desperately.
I'm I'm I'm assuming the guy the number one guy's
gonna get se Kwon Barkley. Who do you recommend the

(30:15):
second pick? I was thinking either Penny or they're running
back from Denver? Oh yeah? And second in a rookie draft,
do you need this player to hit this year or no?
And I can even go receiver, but I'm just assuming.
I'm just assuming the running backs will produce Quicker. I

(30:37):
don't need anybody this year. What are your thoughts? Um
that makes it easy for me? Can I jump in here? Corey?
Go ahead? Okay? If you don't need him this year,
then I'm taking guys second in that In that if
I needed a player this year, I wouldn't take guys second.
But if you don't need him this year, I'm taking
guys second because he's gonna be the second best running

(30:59):
back out of Scroup once he gets back on the field.
I agree with Jim on that sentiment. I would also say,
if you don't need to play this year, I would
also consider Lamar Jackson because I don't know what your
quarterback situation is in this dynasty league, but I think Jackson,
when he gets a chance and he gets that job
and he gets his feed under him, he's going to
be a dynamic quarterback in this league. This is what
you mean. As long as he doesn't need anybody for
the next three years, then he's good with Wait a minute,

(31:22):
wait a minute, flat, Joe flat, This is it for
Joe Flacco. Jim, Hey, I don't care, you know, Lamar
Jackson has a lot to learn. Jim. This is Jim,
This is this is this is Michael Vick. Lamar Jackson
is Michael Vick. Come on, he doesn't even own the dog.
Michael Vick was winning people leagues. Lamar Jackson is going
to be Michael Vick. He can win you. He can

(31:44):
single handedly win you a league. Hey, I don't see
it yet. I think he's got a lot to learn yet,
I just not. I don't think he's gonna be there
anytime soon. And so there you go, right there. But
I don't listen. I agree with Jim. The Darius guys
pick is a good one also, and I do think
he's the second betch running back in his class. If
you want somebody that's not injured, Calvin Ridley is intriguing.

(32:05):
I think he's gonna have a nice shot. The Royce
Freeman kid also intriguing. Um jim as I feel like
I'm missing oh and carry on. Johnson is another player,
the Detroit Lion running back. You know, if you just
looking for a little bit of depth or somebody you
can how about p J. War Is he already the
number two starter in in Carolina? So I mean talking
about a guy who's already stepped into a starting role,

(32:28):
has had a great preseason. Uh, team is ranting about him.
And let's face it, Greg Olson is old. He may
have one year left, maybe not once he leaves. And
you're talking about a guy who probably is gonna get
a targets next year. A full four, A four, three, six,
A seven nine, saying good looking out my man. I'll
make sure I highlight you, make sure you keep in touch.
Let's go to my main man down in the low country.

(32:50):
Q was in South Carolina. What up? Cute, hey man? Q?
You see I was. I was up in his joint earlier.
Q and let him know about that gap fan. It
wasn't ready for that. I was with you. Bro can
say it's corn. He was getting down, but don't wear
that shirt because he got shot. Yeah he did by
his pop. That was crazy. It was the last four Yeah.

(33:16):
Oh yeah, the good one, Jill and Jim. I got
one for YouTube. I will not to get y'all drafty
off in the drink and eating all them ribs, and
they're gonna be good. The problem is I'm sitting here,
I got twenty feet away from the grill and all
I smell his ribs. There you go off. I know,

(33:37):
mind gonna be that. I mean, I got I got
my main raft coming up Sunday, and I know these
guys gonna be They're gonna be all over the board. Man,
I'm going I'm just gonna I'm gonna be hitting the
movie real fast. So I'm going to probably end up
taking a tight and late. Man. I need a nice,
a nice sleeper late in the draft, sleeper tight end
or just sleeper period a tight end because I'm gonna

(34:00):
be snatching up these running backs and and and received
if I can. Man, I'm I'm probably getting the quarterback
in the ninth around the way the way I'm gonna
go with these guys. This is the mayor, this is
my name. He got playing all the other ones. I've
been messing a rail with the real deal. It's the
real deal for Q right here, Q que about to
get his strunt on come Sunday. Uh, Jim do the honors,

(34:21):
a late sleeper tight end. Go ahead, Jim, do the honors.
I'll give you two. And these are two. You compare
both late, and that's Ben Watson and Dallas Gottard. Uh.
Ben Watson going back to New Orleans with Drew Brees
where he had his best season ever. They brought him
in for that specific reason. Uh. The other receivers in
New Orleans seemed to be a little unsettled. Meredith was

(34:43):
expected to have a big role, just missed a lot
of preseason um and then god heard. I mean, this
kid is just a playmaker. You're seeing it in preseason.
He's tearing it up. I know he's behind dirts. It
doesn't matter. Burton had five touchdowns behind dirts last year
and got heard is much better other than Burton. I
think Goddard has an eight touchdown season in him this year. Relax, Jim,

(35:06):
eight touchdown season, Jim, Jim down. He does the red
zone that Urge doesn't do. Urge does the rest of
the field. He's gonna do a lot of damage in
the red zone. There you go, cue my man, good
luck this week? Can hit me up next week and
let me know how you go. So we're rocking and

promo during the break, talk about he thinks Chris Hogan
can get a hundred and forty targets. If Chris Hogan
get a hundred and forty targets, he will explode right
there on the field. Wow, Chris Hogan can't handle a
hundred and forty togets. His body is not meant for that.

(36:59):
I do like Chris Hogan this year. He gotta stay healthy.
A hundred and forty talgets for Chris Hogan, that is interesting.
I'll take the under on that. When eight four four,
eight four, three six eight seven nine, Um, I don't
know if he was watching the BFFs earlier, Jim, did
you catch the BFFs? Yeah? I was. I was watching

(37:19):
the show all right, Cool. I had busted here. I
forgot that they was in the studio and I had
busted him. Mr Susman looked at like that, what you're doing?
I was on my bad so my bad. I forgot.
I forgot. I thought I had the studio to myself,
like I did last Friday when we have our you
know fantasy was some summer Fridays all from the carton
the Friend Show. So I went downstairs and was chilling

(37:42):
eating you know. My McDonald was getting ready for this
program and they played the music coming back from the break.
Greg Sussman is the worst dancer on the face of
the earth. Mr Susman, like, you don't get me wrong.
I gave Marty a hard time for doing a horrible
um shuggy challenge for the you know Ki Ki Do

(38:03):
you Love Me? Marty was terrible, but Mr Sussman dancing
and singing coming back from the breaking to be the
thing he does with his hands is like, no, it's
it's very And then he goes and circles with his
hands and I'm like, he's the hands and then and
I'm like what Greg is right? Doesn't have no rhythm, Jim,
I'm worried about So what are you trying to say?

(38:25):
He's pretty fly for a white guy. No, he's not.
I think I think we have evolved to where dance
is closer among the racest you know what I'm saying.
I've seen a shift. But Mr Sussman didn't hit it,
didn't get the Sussman. The Sussman gene does not work
forward dancing that hand. Things Sussman does is brutal, flat

(38:46):
out brutal squad talking to hey, Greg, I can talk.
I'm orator, are you yes? I am say benevolent, benevolent.
Don't get mad at me, Greg, I'm an all retur
right and know what I'm saying. You're just not a dancer, Greg.

(39:08):
I never said I was a dancing try. Yeah. But
the thing with the hands, Greg, lose the hands bit,
you know, Scotty love Greg's shout out to my man,
Mr Susman eight four four eight four three six eight
seven nine, Um, Jim, Greg is when you see when
you're watching the show and you see Greg doing a

(39:29):
thing with the hands, He's not convolving. That's how he dances.
So don't worry about him. Okay, if you say something,
there you go, there you go. Donna's in Minnesota. Donna's
in Minnesota. Don, what up? What up? Corey? How's it going?
I'm chilling, Don? What's up with you? All Right? I
gotta keep her all right, I gotta question for him.

(39:51):
I'm in a fourteen team super Flex PPR. I'm keeping
Marvin Jones and the tent and Marlon Mac in the eleventh.
I got the tenth overall. What to say this, I'm
I'm I got lost fourteen team super Flex super Flex
PPR PPR. All right, Yeah, I got Mark Marvin Jones
in the tent, Marlon Mack and the eleven. I'm that's

(40:15):
Marvin Jones in the tenth easy. Marlin Mac is a buster? Yeah,
well value there, So fourteen teams did it even in
the fourteen team league, Jim, I don't see Marlin. Matt
does nothing for me. But I got his point in
the fourteen team league. You know he has the potential
to be they're starting running back. So in the eleventh

(40:37):
round in the fourteen team league, I don't like Mac,
but I wouldn't say no, you would keep Would you
keep Mac on Marvin Jones? Oh, if that's the choice,
I'm keeping Marvin Jones in the tenth. Easily, I didn't
realize it was Okay, my bad, go ahead, Yeah, I'm
keeping both. Anyway, I got two questions. I got the

(40:57):
tenth pick. I'm looking at you know, run back and
then running back again at nineteen hopefully, but it depends
wherever the chips fall. Um, who do you target at
ten and nineteen? I'm sex some some of the casts
we've been talking about all morning that's going to be
in that in that area, Um, Melvin Gordon, Kareem Hunt
could slip there, Dalvin Cook, Lenned for Nette, Christian McCaffrey,

(41:21):
DeVonta Freeman. All guys, I like, if you want to
pull somebody up the board, I like Jordan Howard to
pull up the board. What you think, Jim, it's the
same guy I've been talking about, right, Jim. Yeah. And
Royce Freeman is another. I would pull up the board
into the second in the late second and nineteenth pick overall.
I like Freeman, I do. I like it more than
most people do. And if you're really looking at that

(41:42):
running back, then yeah, But in the fourteen team league,
when you come back to that nineteenth, I wouldn't be
surprised if there's a better wide receiver sitting there running
back to looking at I I agree, I agree with
that sentiment to don I think the wide receivers in
that spot could be better. But if you want to
go one of those running backs. I don't have any
beef on if it's a lot, don Jim, would you

(42:03):
would you take Royce Freeman over Derrick Henry? Yes, I
actually would right now. Um, you know, Derrick Henry is
gonna be a good back. Don't getting wrong. I like him.
I just think Freeman has more upside. Henry's upside is
definitely gonna be limited as long as Dian Lewis is
on the field. Um, I get it. I disagree. I

(42:25):
would take Henry. I'm starting the woman up to Freeman.
I think Freeman is gonna is going to be the
guy out there, even if Book of starts season as
the guy. Not about who starts, about who finishes. Um,
but that's interesting. I would take Henry over Freeman. I'll
give it the slight edge man I said. In fact,
I told you when I go back uptown after the show,
I'm gonna do my rankings, and one of the people
I'll let y'all know where they where, where where how
the movement going would be Royce Freeman eight four four

(42:48):
eight four three six eight seven none. That's that's interesting
right there. Damn. I like that. That's a hot to take.
As they say, Alex is in New Jersey with up Alex. Hey,
what's going on killing Alex? How can we help you?
So I'm the new guy in the league, um, and
then going there joint and take their money. That's what

(43:09):
I'm trying to do. And I got the champion round one,
so I want to think them out. But I'm number
twelve in the twelve man league, all right? In the
pr who would you take? First two? I don't know
who's going to be on the board, but what I
will say is, um, would you go running back, running

(43:31):
back by the receiver, to running backs to receivers, and
then it's gonna come down to best player there. As
far as I'm concerned, all of those combinations can work
if you get the right players. It doesn't matter what
position it is. You're looking for two studs, and I'll
take whatever stud is on the board that I have
highest on my board at both of those spots, whether

(43:53):
it be running back, wide, receiver, it doesn't really matter
to me. Do you think also taking like a Josh
Gordon like fourth round or early third if he's still
there on that No, Well, if you want to take job,
you got the twelfth pick in a in a in
a twelve team league. If you take Josh Gordon, I
take you. If you want to have Josh Gordon, you're

(44:13):
gonna need to take him on a three four turn, right,
all right, that's what I was thinking. Ye all right,
cool a Hi my man, Alex high as your brother.
Good luck this weekend? A four four April three six?
Is this my son? Christ and California? Chris? What up?
Ye yo, Chris was cracking. Someone's good with you, going score.

(44:36):
I ain't hurt from you in a minute. Someone's going
on with you. I know, man, it's been a manute.
It's benefit of changes. But he welcomed Jim to the crew.
Oh yeah, that's right, that's right, Chris here, Yeah, welcome
Jim to the crew. You know, I think you know
ventures with us now too. So you know what I'm saying.
I had I had to Hey, Chris, had to lose
the dead weight. You know what I'm saying, appreciate it.

(45:02):
The Uh Now, I'm gonna revisit a keeper question for you,
seeing about my my keeper deadlines tomorrow, and we've got
a little we've got a little preview of the Titans
offense Now, how are you feeling about keeping Derrick Henry
over Corey Davis giving up a fifth round pick for
Derrick Henry or a twelfth round not my bad round

(45:23):
pick for Corey Davis. Henry and the fifth, or Corey
Davis in the thirteenth. Jim, every doesn't really give you
any value in the fifth. I mean, that's probably where
you're gonna draft him. So to me, it comes down
to value and Davis in the thirteenth, it's definitely value.
Oh man, Chris, I like Derrick Henry, but Jim is right,

(45:45):
You're not getting no value there. But sometimes I think
maybe you just go ahead and take the player. How
many people you keep? Just one? No, I get to
keep three. The other two is Alvin Cameron and Odell. Yeah. Yeah,
keep Corey David, keep Davis thirteen. You're You're good, my man.

(46:07):
Good luck this weekend. I wrap with you than Chris, Chris, Jim.
You know, homeboy Keith and the Goon Squad is a chef.
He can like you all should have like a rib off. Yeah,
he might be a chef, but I put my ribs
up against anybody's. My ribs come from a long time family. Uh,

(46:31):
recipe that my grandmother did way back in the days
where they used to bury it in the ground to
cook it. Oh yeah, So then then that there's the
old school, the old family recipe. I ain't buy some
ribs today, and y'all talking now, we got me talking
about rib Where can I get some ribs? That though?
And again I'm pretty sure a couple of them are
gonna disappear as soon as we get off the air.

(46:55):
What happens to two ribs before the draft start? Two
ribs are going? Oh man, Jim, I'm really looking forward
to this weekend. Got the um the GST tomorrow at
Christopher Carroll's joint. So I'm looking forward to that. That's
gonna be a good time. Love going out there and
drafting with those guys. What we're doing. That league is
is two is twenty four teams, is two twelve team leagues.

(47:19):
You can win your league and you can win an
overall grand prize. Some very good competition in that joint, Jim.
And amazingly, Jim, I don't know if you've heard about this.
I know this. This is gonna blow your mind. The
reigning champion of the G S T League, the guy
who won his league and overall last year. No, no, no, no,

(47:39):
Jake is a good rancor championships in um the King
Scott Angle. Wow, really he must he must have had
Michelle Cerfico helping him draft. Oh man, Jim, let me
tell you something. If you ain't, No, Scott won that league.

(48:00):
The next time you talk to Scott, he's gonna let
you know he won that league. He said it was
his greatest accomplishment in fantasy. And this is the dude
that's in the Fantasy Sports Hall of Fame. Well, he's
been doing this an awful long time and he's helped
up lots of people expand what they did. So I
give it to him just for that. There you go, um.
And then Saturday you got the live stream. You're gonna

(48:23):
streamline the Carton and Friends draft Michelle Serpico and Scott.
She a team in that league that's going to be interesting.
Our team Beauty and the Beast. So it would be me, Craig,
the Scott and on, Michelle, the Homie Ventra and everybody
being here trafted and we'll have a good time. We'll
get a nice spread going. You know what I'm saying,
you should deliver some of those ribs over here for

(48:44):
Sunday afternoon for our draft. Well, there won't be any
left after tonight. That that's a guarantee. They'll be gone.
And do you let the homies take ribs home or
you'll just kill him right there. No, they never survived tonight.
They never tonight. Uh, nobody don't. Nobody's telling that to
go back. I got some big friends, were good. Okay,

(49:05):
y'all go ahead and knock them joints down. I feel
you a jam. I was looking at some pictures the
other day when we had that event out there in
Jersey a couple of years ago, and we all got
together into the draft and came out there and Jersey
at that ball restaurant, had a good time. That was cool. Yeah,
that was a good time. I definitely met some you know,
people have talked online with a lot but never met
in person, and that's always fun to do it. And

(49:26):
met some new friends and and that turned out to
be pretty good too. And there's a couple of those
guys that still playing one of my league's. Okay, cool,
that's what's up. I got to get in one of
these I gotta get in this rib league, this Riboff league.
You know what I'm saying. I gotta make that happen, Jim, Um,
anything you're looking forward to tonight in the Jets Giant
showdown fantasy perspective, Uh, I'd like to see get some

(49:48):
clarification on you know, how they're gonna use their wide receivers,
who they're looking at. I'd love to see who Donald
really seems to favor. Uh. That's really the most of
what I'm really trying to get out of this side.
You know, I know what I'm expecting out of the
Giants offense. I'd like to see more of what the
Jets give us. Yeah, that's interesting to Like I told
you I had a ton of love for Robby Anderson

(50:09):
last year. I don't own them no where this year.
I'm hoping that's not a mistake. Um, I might just
stay away from the Jets wide receiver the maybe put
a dollar on Quincy and Noonal a little bit later on.
As far as the Giants go, you know who all
the particulars are. And you would say, Jim at the
handcuff is Wayne Goldman correct? Not Jonathan Still Yeah, absolutely,
Wayne Gollman. He's outshone Stewart the entire camp. You ever

(50:30):
been to this Jet Giant game? No, not, not for
a lot of years. It's way back in the day.
I want a couple of times, but not for a
lot of years. Yeah. I used to go a lot
to that joint too, at the Giant Stadium, sit up
in that in that upper bowl and wash them beat
up on the Jets in preseason game MetLife Stadium painting.
The asked to get the MetLife Stadium for me. Really

(50:52):
a lot of trains and stuff, and then once you
get off the train, you gotta walk. So if I'm not,
I'm not like a big walker. I don't know if
you've noticed. I know you're on me strutting around Studio
thirty four earlier today, Jim, But I'm not the biggest walker.
Do you feel what I mean? I got you. I
get that as well. So I'm not the biggest fuker either. Yes,
it's actually it's not good for you, not Lena stop.

(51:15):
So next episode. So that's Sunday, then Sunday night. I
got my uh that fourteen team auction is now a
sixteen team auction, so I'm gonna be buying a quarterback
and that when I'm going to Shaun Watson. I'm going
to get me to Shaun Watson in that league. Jim
six point for the past and touchdown. I don't like
to ever pay over ten dollars for a quarterback in
the auction, but I think I'm gonna have to in

(51:37):
this when sixteen team leaves. I like to have a
solid quarterback. Absolutely, I feel like you got to. And
the problem. Look, I love watching as much as the
next guy, but if you draft him, if you auction
him early, then you definitely have to come back and
get a pretty solid number two as well, just in case. Yeah,
I feel you what you mean on that one, because
you don't want no, no, no trouble, especially in the
sixteen team league the way why is staying And then

(52:00):
