Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's contest. Mac got deeped out there.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
By a five timing. We're gonna have three quarters each
twelve minutes and win.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
Everything else is the same. We'll have heat timeouts at
six minutes. We tunk go. You are the visiting team.
You get the call of the coin. The AHSAA logo
is heads. The NSHS logo is tails.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
What is your call? We tunked the costs tail. It
is tails. We tunk that. You have won the toss
and deferred book. You're gonna defer you want you want
the ball? Which way do you want to kick?

Speaker 4 (00:35):
All right, so the Bulldogs have lost the coin toss,
but they will get the football first, so we'll see
the more experienced side of the football for Ropelika coming
up next. And mag we got you a little bit
better down there on the field, now, yeah, a.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Little bit, a little bit. It's it's kind of kind
of low.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
But we're gonna work.

Speaker 5 (00:51):
Oh, I got deeped out right there on that coin
toss there, Van, so not only spring training for.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
The Dogs, but for the side on them reporter as well.

Speaker 4 (00:58):
Yeah, you went to the wrong official. That was a
rookie move if I've ever seen one. Mack you go
to the white head there. But anyway, good job. All right,
we'll take a quick time out. We'll come back. Kickoff
on the way next here of the twenty twenty five
Bulldogs bring game as a dog's getting ready to take
on the with tump candians. Next here on the kicker well,

(01:23):
the kickoff is field and a couple of Bulldogs collide
with one another. But it was a Leland Bell who
was converted over to wide receiver bringing it out. So
it's gonna be pretty short field position here. The Bulldogs
at least will be backed up, I should say, from
the ten yard line here to start first and ten,
and that's where the line of scrimmage will be here
for the Bulldogs. It'll be of course, familiar backfield here

(01:46):
for the Bulldogs.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Kobe Key coming in will be a junior.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
This coming up fall six for one hundred and eighty
pounder and Jordan Waits the starting tailpack for the Bulldogs.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
We got seven juniors and seven four.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Junior starting man and the snamp goes to Waits.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
He's gonna bounce it outside right side, and Wakes is
up close to the fifteen yard line. Looks like he'll
pick up five yards on the play, and they'll bring
up second down and five. Actually they're gonna give him
the sixteen. No, they're going to market at the fifteenth.
Joseph Landry on the stop there for the Indians. Second

(02:25):
down in five coming up here for the Bulldogs. If
you're tuning into on what in the world's going on?
This is the Opalaka Bulldog Spring football game. Dogs taking
on with Tumpka here tonight. We're underway here in the
first quarter of play. Second snap here for the Bulldogs.
It'll be a speed sueek trying to get into Washington
here near side. Jalen's across the twenty. Hey breaks one
across the thirty thirty five to forty. Jalen's got a seam.

(02:45):
Jalen's at the thirty five. At the twenty five, he
makes a man miss and cuts it inside and he's
brunt down at the.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Ten yard line. A big time game.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
They're gonna say stepped out of bounds though at the
twenty six yard line, so Jalen actually gets down the
steps sound at the twenty six.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
A fifty four yard gain.

Speaker 6 (03:08):
For Jalen Washington, Julian Pritchett, Jeremy Dillard leading the way
out on that speechs wait, beautiful, beautiful blocking.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
And running show it be first and ten at the
twenty six after that big fifty six yard pickup there
for Jalen Washington. Two was two receivers to the right side.
The Hammer lined up here off the line of scrimmage
to the left side. Here's Jordan Waits inside, Waits inside
the twenty. Good pickup for Jordan Waits. He's down right

(03:39):
at the fifteen yard line, so that's a good pickup.
That'll be enough for a Bulldog first down. So right
off the bat, Bulldogs have marched down the field. This
drive started at their on ten yard line and they're
already down at the fifteen yard line. Up Wood Tumpka
First and ten here for the Bulldogs, the Lambert transferring
stewarts first down Blake the Hammer moves to the right,

(04:03):
right in front of Jordan Waits. The tail back. Low
snap and Colby'll roll to his right throws and he's
got Dell at the five yard line. Dell cuts it
in down to the one yard line, but there is
a flag near the line of scrimmage, so this may
be coming back, so good reception there by Leland Bell,

(04:24):
who moves over from the defensive side of the football
from last season. The officials are miked up tonight, so
we'll get the white hat coming over and give us
the call here. Ten thirty six were just underway here
in the first quarter, so it looks like illegal touching
by the eyefed, So that penalty will go against the Bulldogs,

(04:47):
and that will be a five yard penalty back to
the twenty yard line wide receiver actually off the line
of scrimmage, sir. So you know that's one of those things,
Leland Bell coming over from defense learning a little bit.

Speaker 6 (05:03):
Yeah, I'll drive you crazy right there when you do
those kind of little things like that.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
That's what the spring's for, right coach, Yes, sir, Amen,
all right.

Speaker 4 (05:11):
It'll be second down in fifteen now, like at the
twenty yard line of with Tumpca again, Jordan Wakes the
tail back. Here's Washington in motion from left to right.
They'll faked Washington hand off inside of Jordan Waits. Waits
just dragged down from a hind as he falls ahead
to the fifteen yard line. That'll be a five yard pickup.
Third and ten coming up here for the Bulldogs at
the fifteen of what tump goes, So it'll be interesting

(05:33):
to see what opal like it does here. These are
those key downs coming up in the fall of third
and ten, Sir, in the red zone.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
Third down conversion downs.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Big and exactly where you want to come away with points.

Speaker 7 (05:45):
Here.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
This is an interesting set here. We've got Waits and
the hammer Blake Johnson, both in the backfield out of
the shotgun formation. Now Blake will move right at the
h back spot to the left. Colby gets the snap
play action. Colby fade passed the end zone looking for Washington.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
What a tun around move by Jalen. Touchdown Bulldogs. Jalen
went and left, came back.

Speaker 4 (06:11):
What a great adjustment he made and a touchdown for
the Bulldogs. Fifteen yard throwing cats here from Colby Key
to Jalen Washington for the Bulldog touchdown. That's where they
go on third down. Coach, that is some quick reaction.
I were saying, do you see that on television? I
mean turning back to his left and then back to

(06:32):
the right.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
Unbelievable.

Speaker 4 (06:33):
That was big time adjustment there by Jalen, the upcoming
senior for the Bulldogs. He had a touchdown in game
one last year against Benjamin Russell. He gets one here
in the spring extra point up and good bye Reese Beasley.
Bulldogs strike first, seven to nine forty five remaining here
in the first quarter of the Dogs scoring through the
air with the big ground attack, Colby Key to Jalen

(06:56):
Washington back after this time out here on the kicker.
Back here at Bulldog Stadium, Dogs striking first over with
Tumpcoe Polaika leading seven to nothing on the fifteen yard
catch to Jalen Washington from Colby Keith. A connection we

(07:17):
hope to hear a lot about this upcoming season. Van
Rex longside coach, Spence McCracken, Jason Lee are spider and engineer,
and Mac McCracken roaming the sidelines. We'll check in with
Mac after that touchdown strike coming up here in just
a moment, nine forty five remaining here in the first quarter.
Here is Reese Beasley. What a weapon he'll be this
upcoming season. Big leg and he kicks it all the

(07:38):
way into the end zone for a Touchdower.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
Great super job right there, Barbares.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
All right, Mac McCracken.

Speaker 4 (07:43):
Four seasons Federal Credit Union Sideline report time we found
out you're a nah, we were turning the wrong one.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
Go ahead, you good. I appreciate it.

Speaker 8 (07:50):
Guys.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
Yeah, hey, you great job.

Speaker 5 (07:52):
And like said Van, your your neighbor Washington. You're able
to talk to him a lot about this and hopefully
it's a lot of Colby.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
Key to Washington's throughout the year.

Speaker 5 (07:59):
I'm sitting here down here with coach Eric Fleming with
the offensive line, and he's actually, you know, just staying
on him about hustling already from the get go. You know,
the first series of spring guys, just looking a little
bush league, a lot of laziness. I'll need you out
there setting ready to go. So you know, even though
the score touchdown there, you know, the dogs are still
on him about h hustling.

Speaker 4 (08:16):
Hey, Jalen seventy one yards Mac on that drive on
the run, and then the Cats pretty good. Yeah, absolutely,
nine forty five. Here's what Tumpka's first crack at it
from their own twenty yard line. Their quarterback Camanie Clary,
and he'll give it off in the backfield and the
tailback he's got a good pick up left side, he's
got a first down, scoot it out of bounds around
the thirty eight yard line Jordan Hill on the carry there.

Speaker 6 (08:42):
Tremaine Thomas got blocked on that one, and they got
the edge on us. Got to do a better job
than that. We'll start six seniors, four juniors and a
tenth grader Braydon Howard being our only tenth grader.

Speaker 4 (08:54):
Van sixteen yard pickup on that run up to the
thirty six yard line and first down and ten for
the Indians, Clary and Clary. Clary's a wide receiver Tyrone
and the quarterback is Kamani and a pretty good connection there.
That's a short completion as they get it down to
Elijah Peak and Peak stop for really no gain there,

(09:20):
So that's going to set up a second down. Josh
Davis defensive tackle for the Bulldogs on the stop. So
second down in ten here for with Tumpka from there
on a thirty six yard line.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
JV.

Speaker 4 (09:36):
If you're just tuning in, winning thirty five seven Opelaika
over with Tumpka and the Bulldog's leading right now seven
to nothing with nine thirty two here and I opening
quarter of play, Clary the quarterback gets a snap, some
movement there up front, though, and that will stop and
blow the play dead should be a five yard penalty
against the Indians, so we'll be a five yard penalty

(09:58):
and we'll be a second down and fifteen coming up
here for the Indians.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
From there on.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
Thirty one yard line. Now, got to give a shout
out to Rayner Meadows and Victory Designs. Coach McCracken. They've
got us with some new apparel here for the Coach
McCracken line of shirts. If you've seen Coach Moore wearing
them on the videos from spring practice, and we're sporting
them tonight. So if you'd like one, I'm sure you
can go by and tell Rainer you want the Coach

(10:22):
McCracken special and they can print you one up. Four
wideouts here for the Indians, three to the right, single
receiver to the left side. Clary, the quarterback for the Indians,
out of the gun, gets the snap, drops back, looks
straight across the middle. A wide open guy, big time
hipno by Xavier Thomas as he lays the lumber there

(10:43):
to number twelve. That's Andrew Voyles on the reception. But
boy number eighteen Voiles came across there and made that stop.
But he paid the price and big Exavier Thomas coming
over there and laying a shot there and it's going
to bring up a third down and four for the Indians.
But there's an injury timeout on the field as one

(11:04):
of the offensive linemen is down on his back at
the thirty yard line.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
So we'll take a quick time out here.

Speaker 4 (11:11):
Injury timeout on the field. Bulldog's leading seven to nothing
with nine to eleven left here in the first quarter,
and you listen to Bulldog football Rowty in part by
ol Balaika Environmental Services.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
Well the big man for the Indians.

Speaker 4 (11:25):
Okay, it'll be third down and four here for with
Tumpka and Bulldog defense trying to get a big stop
here on third down play action, quarterback Cleary drops back.

Speaker 1 (11:34):
Now we'll try to run for the first down and he.

Speaker 4 (11:36):
Will not get there, can't get back to the line
of scrimmage before the pack of Dogs comes and brings
him down right at the line of scrimmage. There was
a host of Bulldogs including Kate and Harris the linebacker
coming up, and also Josh Davis, the defensive tackle for
the Bulldogs. It'll be fourth down and two and it'll
be punning time here for the Indians.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
Big third down hole right there. That's beautiful.

Speaker 4 (12:01):
So the Indians punter dropping back in punt formation. This
looks like Andrew Boyles will handle the punting and Jalen
Washington back deep for the Bulldog standing around the twenty
six yard line when Jalen's already had himself quite a day,
already over seventy yards all purpose, including on the ground
and through the air in a touchdown.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
Jalen will let this one go.

Speaker 4 (12:23):
No, He'll go back and catch it at the fifteen
yard line. Jalen cuts here nearside twenty five thirty. Jalen
finds the sidelines at the forty forty five midfield. Jalen
out of bounds around the Wootumpka forty.

Speaker 2 (12:33):
Five yard line.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
The boy can scoot. We've seen it for years and
here he goes in the spring game.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
Beautiful, absolutely beautiful.

Speaker 4 (12:43):
And Jalen Washington, you know, we kind of joked around
about last year about Jalen, you know, not being the
Jamari Miller, you know.

Speaker 1 (12:49):
And he was ready for the role.

Speaker 8 (12:52):
This year.

Speaker 4 (12:52):
He's going to be a big player for this Bulldog team.
Now we're in number two. Last year he was eighteen.
Everybody's changing numbers now for some rais and they're trading
them like go fish cards. I don't know, but he's
number two.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
So got a little of Corey Larkins.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
Well, I'm telling you.

Speaker 4 (13:08):
Jalens dangerous one of the football and good to see
him making some big plays in the spring game. Bulldog's
up seven nothing, seven fifty three remaining here in our
first quarter, coming to you from the Orthopedic Clinic broadcast booth,
Ving and Rick's coach Pens mccracktt, and the Bulldogs have
it just across the fifty at the Watumpka forty nine
yard line. First and ten here for kolbe Key in
the ie fence. Key, Oh, that snap got away from him.

(13:30):
Key's going to chase it down and land on it
back at the thirty six yard line.

Speaker 2 (13:33):
Oh, fifteen yard loss.

Speaker 4 (13:35):
That's one of those things breaking in some new centers
and first action back to the thirty six yard line. So,
like coach mentioned, that's going to be a big loss there,
fourteen yard loss, actually fifteen yard loss back to the
thirty six. So Bulldogs seven nineteen running clock here in

(14:04):
the first quarter, up seven to nothing and Kolby trying
to get the defense to jump and they did coming
across the neutral zone.

Speaker 1 (14:14):
A little early there was what Tumpka's up?

Speaker 4 (14:20):
They give five yards back to the Bulldogs and Opelika
should have it at the forty five forty six yard line,
actually forty one, and Low snap dropped again and Waits
picks it up in the backfield and Waits is going
to be brought down back at the thirty eight yard line.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
Wit Low having a little trouble with those snaps. It's
his first. You know, he played guard all year last year,
you know, all the time.

Speaker 4 (14:50):
So yeah, and Darius is still kind of down on
the depth chart, is playing on the right side. I
think they've changed things up now. They've actually brought in
They just brought in Corbyn. Fears is actually now in
there at center.

Speaker 6 (15:04):
They just swapped places they did scoot over.

Speaker 4 (15:07):
Let me give it a shot here, Bulldogs are thirty long.
After a couple of bad snaps for the thirty nine
yard line, Kolby Key's gonna drop back and try to
pick it up through the air. It'll be a screen
pass to Waits. Waits forty five, Waits up close to midfield.
It'll get right up close to the fifty yard line,
but still about eleven yard shy of a first down,
and that'll bring up fourth down and we'll see the

(15:28):
punning unit come in. Reese Beasley coach has been really
working the punning game. He's gonna be pretty much your
your one stop shopping the kicking department for the Bulldogs.

Speaker 1 (15:36):
That's coming up for fall.

Speaker 4 (15:42):
Indians will drop back Jordan Gray back deep at around
the eleven yard line or right it's a fifteen yard line.
Beasley stands back at around the thirty six to catch
this snap. Cam Rayley handling the snapping duties for the
old Dogs. Good snap and Beasley puts a big hanging punt.

(16:06):
Oh I love that hits down at the goal line
and goes into the end zone. But a big time
boot there by Rheese Beasley.

Speaker 6 (16:14):
That's gonna make me sleep good right there. You have
a punter like that that could kick them that good.

Speaker 1 (16:20):
That's try it.

Speaker 4 (16:21):
That's gonna pick them up all right. Well, time out
on the field. We'll head down and check in with
Mag mccrankeen. When we got a second, mag, what's your
what's your thoughts so far down on the sidelines, what.

Speaker 1 (16:29):
You're seeing down there? Yeah, well, you know that series
right there.

Speaker 5 (16:32):
You know, I was just telling Jeremy, we just got
caught in a hole right there, you know, two low
snaps and just that was just a busted series right there.
But you know, you special teams, special teams, special teams.
And I think we you know, we got a punter.

Speaker 8 (16:44):
Y'all.

Speaker 5 (16:44):
Were just bragging them about that because I know, you know,
I was talking earlier this summer, and you know they
were kind of you know, in and out with punters
with punters.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
But that was a shoot.

Speaker 8 (16:51):
That's pretty good, dad.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
I mean, I'll take that every Friday night.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
You remember when Savaryese had that punters back in.

Speaker 6 (16:56):
Two thousand and one, he punted the ball by eighty
yards one time.

Speaker 5 (17:01):
You remember that, Yes, sir, Yeah, I think I'll take
that punt right there every Friday night.

Speaker 2 (17:06):
Ah lay that the way. That was a beautiful punt.

Speaker 6 (17:09):
That that thing came off his leg like a McIlroy
ball coming off at golfers.

Speaker 4 (17:17):
Driver, Mac, I'm gonna tell you this now, behind you,
it's trouble. You got you got Golson, we got Branch Miller,
we got Baker Moore, the the ball boy crew here.
And I even was heard that that Baker had been
sidelined from ball boy duties. To my family circus all around,
I heard he was already suspended for tonight's game. All right,
six o nine left here in the first quarter, with

(17:38):
Tumpka comes out first and ten, they'll have it from
their own twenty yard line. Hope like a leading seven
to nothing here spring football game here at Bulldog Stadium tonight. Ope,
like a wrapping up their spring as well as with Tumpka, Clary,
the quarterback for the Indians, gets the snap, they'll give
it to the tailback here near side, good hole across
the thirty tight roping the sidelines, trying to turn.

Speaker 1 (17:59):
It up field. It's to the thirty six yard line.

Speaker 4 (18:01):
That'll be good for a first down, and that'll be
a sixteen yard pick up again for the Indians.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
They've running the ball on us. Can't let him run
the ball. That's it.

Speaker 6 (18:12):
That defensive end got kidned inside again over on this side.

Speaker 4 (18:17):
Jordan Hill on the carry there for with Tumpco, I
do a little bit better with a NS.

Speaker 1 (18:24):
Check.

Speaker 4 (18:25):
That Yeah, that was Jordan Hill number four. All right,
shotgun here for Clary for the Indians. He'll bring a
man in motion, big guy JD. Denmark play action throws
here far side of the field, turn it up, slips
a tackle across the forty forty five and just brought
down at the fifty yard line. Another good pick up

(18:46):
there by the Indians. And that was Dion Floyd on
the reception there for the Indians. And he's got enough
for with Tumpka first down, So thing Indians across midfield
and Opelaka territory down at the Bulldog forty nine yard line.

(19:08):
Five forty left here in the first quarter. Bulldog's leading
seven nothing. We'll see what the defense can do here
for Oplanka.

Speaker 6 (19:15):
That was good pressure by Thomas that time, and quarterback
just made a great play.

Speaker 4 (19:21):
Out of the shotgun is Clary. He got a low snap,
he's in trouble, he's brawn down and he is sacked
by Leakedrick Berks in the backfield. That's gonna be a
loss of six yards as Leakedrick gets back in there
and makes a good style Leakedrick a guy that didn't
get a whole lot of playing time last year, coach McCracken.

Speaker 1 (19:37):
But when he was in there, boy, he made his
presence known.

Speaker 2 (19:40):
He sure did, He sure did.

Speaker 4 (19:42):
He was number forty six or so I believe last
year he's he's moved on up the roster as far
as numerical order goes. He's wearing number nine. Caden Harris
changing numbers as well, number seven. Norman Matthew's strong safety
wearing number five this year as well. So those linebackers
seemed to always love the five, nine and seven. And
if they can play like the five nine and seven

(20:04):
we had last year, coach will be okay.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
Yes, sir, we had two good ones last year.

Speaker 4 (20:08):
Checking out in fifteen Indians Clary lost the ball again,
bad snap. He scrambles around, he'll throw it away out
of bounds and able to avoid the sag. But good
pressure by Elijah Oden, number thirty three was chasing him down.
Also Josh Davis. But we do have a flag on
the play.

Speaker 2 (20:24):
I think this against we're Tumka.

Speaker 1 (20:27):
Oh, Coach More doesn't seem very happy about this. We'll see.

Speaker 4 (20:32):
It was a bad snap. Boy, if we bailed them
out on this one, Coach Moore will be very frustrated.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
Not sure.

Speaker 4 (20:44):
Yeah, white hat comes over and has a word with
coach Moore with Tumpka backing up. So looks like it
will go against the Indians here. It has been a
hot afternoon here for football inside Bulldog Stadium.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
That's a legal receiver downfield.

Speaker 8 (21:03):
Yeah. Man.

Speaker 1 (21:03):
The penalty was declined by Opalika, so good.

Speaker 2 (21:10):
So this will be third down.

Speaker 4 (21:12):
Yeah, third and fifteen here for the Indians from their
own forty five yard line.

Speaker 2 (21:16):
Rack it up. This boy throws pretty good.

Speaker 4 (21:19):
They've had a couple bad snaps after Apelaka had some
bad snaps and now they're facing a third and long here,
third and sixteen for the Indians. Clary drops back flush
to his right now, steps up, tries to turn left,
and he is just going to be ran out of
bounds by a linebacker. Elijah Odin the junior getting a
lot of play and time and linebacker and it'll be
fourth down.

Speaker 1 (21:41):
Punning time for the Indians. A trail.

Speaker 4 (21:43):
Here's seven nothing, four to twenty six remaining here in
our first quarter of play. I want to thank the
Orthopedic Clinic as we come to you from the North
Peeda Clinic broadcast booth here tonight here Bulldog Stadium, and
I tell you an early kickoff this time of year
and even in the fall here Bulldogs Stadium, not a
good place to be as the home side, as we've
had the sun bacon on us all afternoon long, but

(22:06):
happy to be here. He's going as a high hanging
pun and that's going to give Jalen a chance here
at the twenty three yard line. Jalen across the thirty
thirty five, Jalen cuts at the forty forty five, and
Jalen Washington is up to the forty six yard line.
I don't know is all purpose total right now? Coaching
the special teams.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
Offensively, Yeah, he's special.

Speaker 3 (22:26):
He.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
Jalen has.

Speaker 4 (22:28):
Twenty seven yards on that return there by Jalen Washington.
Opal like his offense has it back. Fifteen yard touchdown
throw from Colby Key to Jalen Washington, the lone score
here so far negative plays the last time third possession
here for the Bulldogs. Offensively, Jalen Nelson checks of the
ball game and running back. He is one of the fastest,

(22:51):
the fastest guys, should say on the Opal like a
football team man in motion from left to right. That's
Cam Rayley and they'll give it to Nelson, the speedster.
Nelson across the fifty and boy, he just about shot
through there like a cannon.

Speaker 1 (23:03):
Quick he is. He runs.

Speaker 4 (23:06):
I can't remember the mile per hour, but you know,
Kate McGee in the strength and conditioning program, they keep
track of that, and Coach he can scoop it was.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
The fastest fastest one last year last year.

Speaker 4 (23:18):
So Nelson on that carry, six yard pickup, it will
be second down and four here for Opalaika Dogs from
their own forty eight yard line. Key gets the hand
off again, gives it to Nelson straight up the middle
and not much there, no gain on the play, a
good standing there by the Wattumpka defensive line. Twenty three

(23:43):
miles per hour, coach is how fast he can run.

Speaker 1 (23:45):
So that is moving.

Speaker 2 (23:47):
That doesn't seem fast, but it is.

Speaker 4 (23:49):
I'm telling you, I don't think I could run twenty
three miles of an hour if Freddy Krueger was chasing me.

Speaker 1 (23:53):
Coach, I was like, I'd come close to that. Third
down here for the Bulldogs.

Speaker 4 (23:59):
A big one here, A third down in four for
opel Aka from the watump from the Dogs from the
wa Tempka forty eight low snap. Kobe gets it up,
steps up, trying to direct some traffic. Heaves one downfield,
trying to get it to Jaalen and is knocked away.
He was double covered at the twenty one yard line
and it'll bring up fourth down and Colby frustrated Spencer

(24:20):
Rice on the coverage there for Wotempka.

Speaker 6 (24:23):
They gotta get that snap better man. They did that
one went a little more to the left. Harry's got
to get his snap and going.

Speaker 4 (24:31):
So punning time will see Reese Beasley come back in
see if rees can pin the Indians back deep here.
They'll send back Dion Floyd back deep around the ten
yard line for the Indians. Three oh six left here
in the first quarter. Again, OPA like a leading seven
nothing here at Bulldog Stadium for the spring football game.

Speaker 6 (24:51):
Keep your fingers crossed at Beasley and knocked this from
Indian zone.

Speaker 2 (24:54):
If it does, we got as a punter.

Speaker 4 (24:57):
Coach Moore having to call a time out and he
he is visibly frustrated right now with his unit and
they were not ready on the field and he is
not happy at all. It sets go flying and he
is out there giving it to him right now. We'll
take a quick time out right here on ninety seven
point seven kicker FM I checked that that was a
quick conversation. We will not take a break, Coach Moore

(25:22):
got his words in coach and I think he made
his message and pointing on.

Speaker 2 (25:26):
Him there, Yeah, I would think so.

Speaker 4 (25:29):
Been along first quarter here. We're playing three quarters here
tonight for the spring football game. So far open like
a leading seven and three ZHO six, but has been
a sloppy couple of drives here for the offense. And
Beasley puts another good step into this one a little
shorter here that takes a good roll out of bunds
inside the fifteen yard line. We'll see where they wind

(25:52):
up marking that one down at the twelve. So good
punt there by Reheese Beasley as he's got the Indian
starting for their on twelve yard line.

Speaker 6 (26:02):
Well, we're toughs oh for two and third down conversions
and U two penalties two or three throwing and they've
heard us running the ball a little bit on first downs.

Speaker 2 (26:14):
We need to do a little bit better job of
stopping their run.

Speaker 1 (26:23):
Well, we'll see what the defense can do. This is
a unit that needs the experience. Here.

Speaker 4 (26:26):
We see coach had a massy rolling in a lot
of different people, a lot of people trying to get
some experience here in game action and It's just about
like a normal game atmosphere. Good crowd here tonight here
at Bulldog Stadiums. Clarry out of the shotgun, gets the stamp,

(26:48):
quick hand off and nowhere to go. That was a
nice stop of the backfield by Elijah Ode. We've called
his name a couple of times tonight, Coach McCracken, thirty
three shooting in there, making a nice stop.

Speaker 6 (27:00):
I don't know whether we Tumka new what play they
were running in. It seemed like they had a little
confusion with the wide out.

Speaker 1 (27:08):
It was a four yard loss.

Speaker 4 (27:09):
So it'll bring up second down and fourteen for the Indians,
and they're backed up on their own on eight yard
line here. First second down and fourteen here for the
Indians as we wind down to two twenty one left
here in the first quarter. But like a leading again
seven to nothing. Clar he gets the stamp, hands the

(27:30):
ball off the hill, trying to run near side, and
he is chased down nicely by Caden Harris, the linebacker.

Speaker 1 (27:35):
Not much if anything.

Speaker 4 (27:37):
I don't think no gain on the play there, may
have lost the yard he did, so it'll set up
a third and long here for the Indians. So good
job defensively, they're both linebackers coming into making some good stops.

Speaker 1 (27:48):
Caden Harris is a senior. Harris is a guy.

Speaker 4 (27:52):
Last year, coach on the depth chart, he was kind
of number two, but really didn't see the field a
whole lot.

Speaker 2 (27:57):
Oh no, he didn't play as much as Burt's.

Speaker 4 (27:59):
Did now and that was one of the things that
you know coming into this year, I know he's fired
up and ready to go as a part of that
one team Indians, third and fifteen. They're backed up from
their on six yard line. Clary from the endzone, got
his past batted down, had a good stop there by
the Bulldog defense. Jacody Jackson with a nice swap down.

(28:21):
The junior comes in there and makes a nice bat down.
Actually he'll be an upcoming senior. And it's fourth down
in a mile coming up here for the Indians.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
Good play right there.

Speaker 1 (28:33):
You'd love to see it.

Speaker 4 (28:34):
Opal like a quick strike here with a minute twenty
nine coach and put fourteen on the board before we
head to the second quarter. Yes, sir, Hunter for the
Indians is Andrew Boyles. He is back standing on the
pee of Opal Like in the end zone. Gets a
snap and a line, dry punch, Aleen will come up,

(28:56):
and now Jalen backs off. Took a funny hop and
probably lies decision.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
They're Jalen.

Speaker 4 (29:02):
We'll let it roll up to the forty seven yard line,
so the Bulldogs will have it from their on forty
seven yard line and from the Wootempka forty seven with
one sixteen left, and you know, coach trying to get
the troops out there and get them fired up. Here
Matt McCracken, let's go score right yeah.

Speaker 5 (29:20):
Hey, absolutely, you know you saw a little change right there.
Ever since coach Moore just had to come to Jesus
meet with him and Coach Flemen did the same thing
here here with the offensive line really got into them.
So it worked defensively. Let's see right here for the
payoff offensively.

Speaker 4 (29:33):
At the Watumpka forty seven first and ten, they'll bring
a man in motion and the play blown dead.

Speaker 1 (29:39):
And believe who's that all? Had a time out?

Speaker 4 (29:46):
Yeah with TEMPCA takes a time out, so coach bear
Woods and the Indians time out one fifteen level. We'll
take a time out as well. Bulldogs leading seven to
nothing here in the twenty twenty five spring game, here
on the kicker right of the toll could time out
first and ten Colby Key drops bag. It is called

(30:07):
that is a nice grandby. Jordan Waits inside the thirty
five yard line and Waits is going to be forced
out of ounds at around the thirty two. So good
pick up there by Colby Key finding Jordan Waits downfield
and the Bulldogs want to go fast here at the
thirty two, so Colby lines of troops up two wide

(30:28):
receivers to the right side.

Speaker 1 (30:30):
Waits again as the tail bag.

Speaker 4 (30:31):
Waits gets the hand off here near side, waits at
the twenty five, twenty, waits at the fifteenth, waits at
the five, and barrels his way out of aunds at
the two yard line and took a shot. He's going
to be down right at the two. Darius whitlow with
a big block there.

Speaker 1 (30:49):
Coach on that one. Oh yes, sir, so this will
be first in goal.

Speaker 4 (30:55):
I'll actually say down at the three, and I think
this may be coach McCracken Hammer time.

Speaker 1 (31:04):
We'll see.

Speaker 6 (31:05):
Oh hammer looks like he's gained about ten pounds.

Speaker 4 (31:07):
He does, and a quick handoff to number thirty point
with the hammer Johnson and he's in for the touchdown
and folks were clearing out of his path as the
steam truck was rolling in and the hammer is in
the end zone. Big Blake Johnson, number thirty coach the
crazy thing. And we heard coach Moore say this yesterday
is it is weekly luncheon. He said that, you know,

(31:29):
it's crazy to think. In the Ben Russell game last year,
first game forro Plaika, Blake didn't have a carry. Yeah,
and he finished the season with sixteen touchdowns. It was
one of the go to guys in the backfield. So
you just don't know some of the guys that will
step up in game time action. There's Reese Visa with
a point after up and good and that is a
fourteen nothing lead.

Speaker 1 (31:50):
Now for the Bulldogs that score and drive.

Speaker 4 (31:52):
Power by OPLELACA Power Services, hometown people working for you
online at open Laka power dot com.

Speaker 1 (31:57):
Dog's on top fourteen.

Speaker 4 (31:58):
Not that you're in the spring football game of Bulldog
Stadium over the with Tempka Indians. Fifty seven seconds left
here in the first quarter and we'll be back after
this time out ProAb Blake the Hammer Johnson caps off
a nice drive. Ro Palaika and the Bulldogs lead at fourteen.

(32:20):
Nothing over with Tempka. We got fifty seven seconds left
here in our first quarter of play.

Speaker 1 (32:24):
But so far, so good.

Speaker 4 (32:26):
We've seen, of course, like anything, a little sloppy play
on both sides here in the spring game, but certainly
some good things out of Opalika's defense and ifence. Which
we certainly want to see here is Reheese Beasley. Good
kick end over end, and that will sail down to
the one yard line and we'll be returnable here for
the Indians, and good return up to the twenty twenty

(32:47):
one yard line there by the big fellow Dion Floyd
number eleven there for the Indians, and he'll have with
Tempka starting actually from their own twenty two yard line.

Speaker 6 (33:03):
So Johnson's UH five ninety according to this UH roster.

Speaker 2 (33:09):
He's put on a few just a few PAMs.

Speaker 4 (33:11):
Well, I saw Blake a few weeks ago, and I'm
with you, coach, and they said it's they said, he
it's not. It's not flubber. He's put on some weight
as far as muscle goes. And that's dangerous to think.
He is one of the biggest running backs I've ever seen.

Speaker 3 (33:25):
He is.

Speaker 4 (33:26):
He is a huge man. Here's the Tumpkin Indians from
there on twenty two yard line. A quick hand off
out of the backfield of hell and he's going down
and I stopped there by the Bulldogs coming up and
making the stop was Terres Thomas, number forty for the
Bulldogs and flying is down on the plane.

Speaker 6 (33:44):
Thomas is one of the Thomas boys playing defensive end,
the junior.

Speaker 2 (33:49):
He turned that play in really nice.

Speaker 4 (33:51):
All right, no flag they wave it off, so it'll
be a loss of one second down and ten coming
up here for the Indians from the twenty one yard line.
Now is with Tumpka with thirty seven seconds left here
in the first quarter of Bulldogs leading fourteen nothing. Two

(34:14):
white outs to the left side, a single receiver here
to the right side for the Indians. Comanie Clairey play action.
He's got pressure coming steps up in the pocket. Head,
you're gonna be taken down.

Speaker 1 (34:23):
Nice job.

Speaker 4 (34:24):
Carson Riddle was there and also Kate and Harris on
the stop there for the Bulldogs. And that may be
it for the first quarter of play. And that'd be
a nice way to end the first quarter. As we're
down to six, down to five, down to four. You
can go grab you some butterscotch candy. Take a brief
pause as we head to the second quarter. Fourteen. Nothing

(34:45):
opal like e leading with Tumpka after one here the
twenty twenty five spring game. You're listening to Bulldog football
here on the kicker started the second quarter. We third
and fourteen here for the Indians. Quarter hit as he
throws it does jumping out here near side. But a
nice stop, big time hitting, a big time tackle there

(35:06):
by the Bulldogs. Jay Battle defensive back comes in and
makes a really nice stop there on the wide receiver
who made the grab. And that was a huge play
on Dion Floyd because he caught it out of the
backfield and coach McCracken.

Speaker 1 (35:17):
He only had one man to beat and he had
a lot of daylight ahead of him there.

Speaker 6 (35:20):
Hey, they brought both linebackers, they brought seven that time,
and they got to the quarterback.

Speaker 2 (35:27):
Didn't make a great throw, but for what a play
by Battle.

Speaker 4 (35:30):
Yeah, there comes a punting situation here again for the
Indians as they try and back Andrew Voiles at the
four yard lines where he's going to stand to catch
this at a time out taken here by Opelaika and
something not set right here by the punt return group
as Jalen Washington, Boy, what a night he's had. He's
going to be standing back around midfield. And about this time,

(35:52):
coach number eighteen, the punter Voils is going, I don't
want to punt it anywhere near number two, especially at
midfield right now. Head down for a four seasons Federal
Credit Union sideline report right after this punt here by
voyls and I won't check in as mac McCracken roaming
the sidelines down tonight, and I Matt and get ready

(36:13):
for the third quarter. We understand that'll be quite interesting.
And Coach Moore said he's ready to be miked up
in anything tonight. So we're gonna have some fun in
quarter number three. Just underway here in the second quarter though,
Bulldogs leading fourteen, nothing over with tump co Voils awaits
the snap. He boots it away from right at the
five yard line and gets some good air under this one.
Jalen's gonna try to return it still from his own

(36:35):
forty nine, but he was cutting down nicely right at midfield.
There a really good stop there by what tumpkase Shane
Black who comes in and makes a nice stop.

Speaker 2 (36:44):
Yeah, he's got a lot of air out of that ball.

Speaker 4 (36:48):
I'm sure that's something they were working on sidelines. We're
not letting this number two guy run around on us
all night long, especially from the punting situation there. Jalen
Nelson will come in and be the running back on
this drive, drive possession here of the game for the Bulldogs.
Right at midfield, O like a moving from left to right,
two whiteouts either side here for the Bulldogs. Kobe Key

(37:10):
will bring the hammer in motion from right to left.
Kobe gets the snab and the handoff goes to Jalen Nelson.
With a flag on the play, and what a block,
Oh my goodness there by that offensive line. It was
Julian Jeremy Dillard was pulling there and made a huge block.
But there's a flag right at the line of scrimmage. Now, lady,

(37:36):
I didn't see anybody move then.

Speaker 1 (37:38):
I'm not sure what that was.

Speaker 2 (37:39):
He had it called legal procedure.

Speaker 4 (37:55):
Eleven one remaining here in the second quarter, Can the
Bulldogs with the football from their on forty five yard
line first and fifteen after that penalty, Key drops back
sets trying to look down field. Now is flushed out
of the pocket and Coleby going to take off and run,
and Kobe's across midfield and Koby's going to be down

(38:17):
to the forty eight of with Tumpka, So Colby on
the scramble will pick up eight yards.

Speaker 6 (38:26):
Eric Mason, Corbyn Fears, Daris Whitlow, Jeremy Dillard, Julian Pritchett.
Just remember those five folks, because that's gonna be your
offensive line.

Speaker 4 (38:42):
Second down and eight here for the Bulldogs at the
forty eight yard line of with Tumpka, handoff goes to Nelson.
Nelson stood up right at the line of scrimmage and
not much there on that one, so that will bring up.

Speaker 1 (38:55):
A third down.

Speaker 2 (39:00):
Like anybody then.

Speaker 4 (39:03):
Nine fifty two remaining third and six, third out seven.
Jordan Wait's back in the ball game here on this
third down play, Blake Johnson to the right side of

(39:24):
the line here and there's a handoff two weights. Waits
got some good blockers, He's got the first down. Waits
still on his feet inside the thirty in. Waights pushed
out of bunds right at the twenty six yard line.
A good run and that's a first down for the Bulldogs.

Speaker 2 (39:38):
That is a football player right there.

Speaker 1 (39:41):
And you know, coach, we talked about people that have
gained weight.

Speaker 4 (39:44):
Jordan Waits another guy that's been a big benefit of
the strength and conditioning program, and we saw it there
on that twenty one yard run. That's a different Jordan
Waits type run than we saw last fall.

Speaker 2 (39:53):
He broke two tackles during that run.

Speaker 4 (39:55):
And you talk about hips, coach McCracken, Jordan's put on
some weight in that lower body.

Speaker 1 (40:00):
He's really bulked up, really looks good.

Speaker 4 (40:04):
Two white outs either side for Opelikah first down and ten.
Now at the Watempka twenty five yard line, Colby drops
back fade pass. He's got Jaylen Washington wide opening just
overshot him. But a pancake in the backfield. This offensive line, coach,
they're making some blocks.

Speaker 1 (40:23):
Yeah, and really good to see.

Speaker 4 (40:24):
That was Julian Pritchett, a guy that moved over from
tight end last year and now we're in number seventy two, right,
and he had a pancake there in the backfield. He's
playing that left tackle position for fourteen nothing. Opalalaika with
the lead over with Tempka here nine eighteen left in
the second quarter, Bulldogs. Now second and ten at the

(40:46):
Watempka twenty five yard line. Here's Colby thinks the speed
sweep a little quick pass batted down and that one
was deflected thereby with Tempka.

Speaker 2 (41:02):
Kobe looks like he's gotten a couple of inch or
too tall or two.

Speaker 4 (41:07):
Looks to me like that one deflected by Javian Green
was missing a sheet here on my attempt, ca Roster,
I have discovered it.

Speaker 2 (41:19):
Did you find it?

Speaker 4 (41:20):
Idea third and ten, four O Palaika drive and try
to make this a three possession game here leaving fourteen nothing.
Kobe's gonna drive back on third down pressure, steps up,
throws one towards the zone.

Speaker 1 (41:32):
He's got Blake Johnson.

Speaker 4 (41:33):
In the back of the end zone, wide open touchdown
the Hammer down field for a reception and a big
touchdown grab a twenty five yard catch by.

Speaker 1 (41:43):
The Hammer Johnson in the back of the end zone.

Speaker 4 (41:45):
Big Blake doesn't catch it down field very often, but
they snuck him out there on that one, and Kobe
did a good job, coach, just floating that one up. Yes, sir,
twenty to nothing. Nine oh seven left here in the
second quarter, and here's Reese Beasley for the extra point.
Wi Cooper is your holder. Cooper one of the backup quarterbacks,

(42:09):
played a lot in the JV game and had a
boy and that put up and good thereby Reese Beasley.
So good to see the extra point up and good
and scoring. Driving power by our friends and open like
a power services hometown, people working for you online and
open like apower dot com. Back of the crack, get
roam with the sidelines. Mac the hammer downfield. Hey did

(42:30):
hammer time? Maybe hammer time?

Speaker 5 (42:32):
Yeah it was. And it's kind of hard to see
him coming out through the backfield, but he did. He
found himself wide open and great catch right there. He
can kind of do it all. But earlier on before
you know, before the score and everything, I know.

Speaker 1 (42:44):
Coach Moore came out there talking to the offense.

Speaker 5 (42:47):
He just kept harping on him, just saying, guys, tempo tempo, tempo,
tempo will slow your game down, make you feel better,
and then everything will start connecting.

Speaker 1 (42:55):
That's why he was getting onto him in that huddle.

Speaker 5 (42:57):
He said, start your tempo, pick everything up, and everything's
going to run slower for you. So they got in
there and they started to speeding up everything and it
just felt like second nature and everything's started clicking as
we started scoring points. So I think they got the message.
I know everybody here on the sideline got the message.
So you know, dogs have a good time right now.
Lets see if we can play some defense here.

Speaker 7 (43:16):
All right.

Speaker 4 (43:16):
That's back my crack and bringing us four season Federal
Credit Union sideline reports as he does each and every
football Friday night we mentioned earlier, ninety eight days till
high school.

Speaker 1 (43:30):
Football returns here in the area.

Speaker 4 (43:32):
That'll be the Friday night August twenty second, when the
Bulldogs will be here at home against Benjamin Russell. So
a good warm up and tune up. It's almost like
a year round sport coach football is nowadays. These guys
will pretty much be working all summer pretty much half
a day. They'll be going to seven on sevens before
they get into fall camp late actually, Paul camp will
begin early August this year. Pushed back just a little bit,

(43:54):
Reeese Beasley a line kick and that will be fielded
down at the one and say touchback, So good job
there by Reece Beasley as number eleven. D Ion Floyd
was there on the reception at the goal line. Nine
oh six remaining, and we'll see the defense for Opelika.
Come back out, coach, I've been pretty impressed with the
defense so far tonight, especially with a zero up on

(44:15):
the board for with Tumpka.

Speaker 6 (44:16):
Yes, sir, where you got your sixth seniors, four juniors
and a tenth grader on defense?

Speaker 4 (44:23):
And well and coach, we remember just how tough this
game was a few years ago back in six A.

Speaker 1 (44:28):
Boy, was this not a war between these two teams.

Speaker 4 (44:30):
This really became down to the region championship between with
Tumpka and Opelaika.

Speaker 1 (44:36):
And you know, we had some wars and.

Speaker 4 (44:41):
There were some tight ball games and some thrillers between
these two teams when they were six A region opponents.

Speaker 1 (44:45):
Here's a speed sweep.

Speaker 4 (44:47):
This is a good run here by Floyd near side
and gimmed up at the twenty five yard line.

Speaker 1 (44:52):
Good job defensively there by Opelika.

Speaker 6 (44:54):
Again Terres Terres got held up just a little bit.

Speaker 2 (45:01):
He came back and helped make the tackle.

Speaker 4 (45:03):
But six yard game, yeah, Terres Thomas comes over there
and makes a stop for the Bulldogs. Eight thirty seven
remaining here in the second quarter, twenty one nothing, Opalika
leading over with Tempka and it'll be a second down and.

Speaker 1 (45:22):
Second and five.

Speaker 4 (45:23):
It looks like here for the Indians from their own
twenty six yard line, quarterback clar he drops back throws
one far side of the field. It is comp turned
up field for a first down up close to the
forty yard line. And that was a good reception by
Andrew Voyels up with Tempka on the far side and
did a good job turning up field picking up the
first down up to the thirty nine yard line.

Speaker 6 (45:45):
Our corner back over there got blocked and we didn't
get enough help from the safety.

Speaker 2 (45:51):
That's a big play for them. That's I believe that's
as big a pass play as they've had.

Speaker 4 (45:58):
First down and ten for the Indians from there on
thirty nine yard line. They trailed by twenty one. Here
twenty one nothing. Indians bring a man in motion, Clary
quick hand off to the tailback and he has brought
down right at the line of scrimmage. You'll actually pick
up one. And that was a big time play there
by Opelaika. That was Peyton finch Ford on the carry

(46:20):
there for the Indians. He picked up two yards as
he carried up to the forty one yard line, second
down and eight for the Indians, seven thirty remaining here
in this second quarter, Indians will line up two receivers
to the right, single receiver here to the near side.

(46:42):
Clary again brings a man in motion, turns, fakes, throws
one right across the middle to finch Ford, and he's
guided across the forty five up to the forty seven
yard line. They're going to be short of the first
down and be third down and about three here for
the Indians.

Speaker 2 (46:58):
Nice tackle by Tremaine Thomas.

Speaker 1 (47:00):
Very good.

Speaker 2 (47:01):
Now have we got him in a third and three.

Speaker 1 (47:06):
Try run for everybody tonight.

Speaker 4 (47:07):
We got the spirit of the South Marching Band in
attendance today performing two our right cheerleader squads out on
the field just like a regular on Friday night in
the fall here in the spring.

Speaker 1 (47:19):
Good way to end the school year. Third and three.

Speaker 4 (47:23):
Quarterback fakes it he's going nowhere. Tried to run for
the first down. He'll lose two yards back to the
forty four yard line, and the Bulldogs defense comes up
big and we'll see who comes up on the bottom
of the pile. There hed littlight Leakedrick Burks, Tremaine Thomas
in there hitting the quarterback first. It's fourth down, punting time,

(47:43):
six point fifteen remaining and the clock continuing to run.
Carson Riddle runs out of the ball game, big number
ninety nine.

Speaker 2 (47:50):
That's very.

Speaker 6 (47:53):
Uh defeat is when you get got a third and
three and you can't make it.

Speaker 4 (48:01):
Foils will punt it away from the thirty one yard
line and puts a high boot again, does a nice
job putting some air under it, and a fair catch
called there by Jalen.

Speaker 1 (48:09):
He goes down, lost the ball.

Speaker 4 (48:10):
I thought it maybe he had a guy bump into him,
but dropped it and they'll say he picked it up
at the twenty one yard line. So Jaylen was able
to regain the football and the Bulldogs should have it
for their own twenty one yard line. Yes, that's where
they market first and ten here for Opelaka. We got
five forty seven remaining here in the second quarter of

(48:31):
a three quarter ball game here between Opelika and with Tumka.
We gotta get a ball in the game there. We
got thank you. Watch them over there now, those guys
were slacking. I think big Houston Prescott over there that
this Birds department. Yeah, we got to get there oh

(48:52):
we we see him coming over. Now, now we got them,
I'm gonna get on Baker. He was trying to give
me the business before the game. Now Baker bore they
They got a pile of them from the twenty one.
Here's a hand all out of the backfield. This is
Jordan Waits trying to run here near side. Jordan cuts
it at the thirty and Jordan pushed out of bands
around the thirty five yard line. Good run on first
down and that is close to fifteen yards fourteen yards

(49:18):
officially there. But Jordan banged up on the end of
the run there, and that's not good. So Jordan gonna
be tended to right here on the sideline of Opalaika
and everybody drops down to a knee, especially here in
a spring game. I think this may be hopefully just
a cramp as he got rolled over, but everybody, of

(49:40):
course taking their time. We got an official time out here,
so check it on. Jordan Waits down on the field
five thirty nine, remaining here in the second quarter twenty
one nothing bulldogs on top back after this time out
here on the kicker, well, hopefully just a cramp situation
there as Jordan way he has helped off the field.

(50:02):
Good to see him come off on his own power.
Be Jalen Nelson checking back in the ballgame for the
Bulldogs five thirty nine, remaining here in the second quarter
twenty one. Nothing ople like a leading with Tumpka. Colby
Key on the offense, has the football first and ten
for their own thirty five yard line pressure shown by
with Tumpka play action. Colby drops back, throws down field
trying to get Washington and he overshot Jalen at around

(50:23):
the thirty yard line. Pretty good defense too, By with
Tumpka coming over and coverage and Opalaika coach is gonna
be thin in the receiver department. That's where they're trying
to find some guys and trying to figure out other
than Jalen, you know who's going to be the guys
that are really going to step up. And of course
Leland Bell comes over from defense. Bennett Young will be
back with the team in the fall.

Speaker 2 (50:44):
Yep, Ben, It was hurt a lot last year, wasn't he?

Speaker 1 (50:47):
Yep?

Speaker 4 (50:47):
Then he's not available tonight, but you got Cam Railey
and Jakari Walton another guy also that'll play. There's Nelson
on the hand off left side, and that Jalen does
a good job staying on his feet as he got
hit at the line of scrimmage. He'll carry the pile
up to the thirty nine yard line. It'll be second
down and six here for the Bulldogs. Another third down
and poured it down here for the Bulldogs. Blake Johnson

(51:12):
in the ball game. Also Jalen Nelson another big key
player for this offense. We'll talk a little bit about
that's unavailable tonight. That will be a big, big part
of this offense in the fall.

Speaker 3 (51:24):
C J.

Speaker 4 (51:25):
Johnson, a guy that came back to Opelaika from private
school and he is an electric player. Third and six here,
hand off, it will be for Opelikah getting it to
Nelson Nelson here near side. Nelson's got the first down
across midfield and Jalen Nelson carries it down to the
forty eight yard line and coach, we see how deep
this running back room. You add in a guy like c. J.

(51:46):
Johnson who just tore the lid off of eight man
football up the road at Springwood. Yes, Sir, twelve yard
run there by Jalen Nelson, but Cejy unable to play
tonight and he's been with the team the whole spring.

Speaker 1 (51:58):
Coach.

Speaker 4 (51:58):
When you see him down on the field, you go, boy,
that's a football player and he will be one that
number three in the fall. Get ready for him be
a big player on this offensive side. Low snap got
away and Kobe all just dropped down back at the
forty six yard line. I'm not sure if it was
a little too hot to handle or what, but another

(52:18):
miscued snap and that'll be a six yard loss.

Speaker 1 (52:23):
To the second and sixteen.

Speaker 2 (52:24):
On that last nice.

Speaker 6 (52:26):
Run, Corbyn Fears and Eric Mason just destroyed their guys
over here on that right side.

Speaker 2 (52:33):
Did a great job.

Speaker 4 (52:35):
Upcoming sophomore Rico Kindred in the ball game too, taking
the running back duties right now here. On a second
down in sixteen here for the Bulldogs, Opolaka from their
own forty six low stamp Kendred will get the handoff
running right side across the fifty. They'll marking down right
at the fifty, so this will set up a third

(52:57):
down and thirteen. The Bulldogs with three thirty remaining here
in the second quarter, o Plaka leading twenty one nothing
over with Tumpko Jayalen Nelson checks back in the ballgame
here for Opelaika. That has really turned off to a
nice night here at Bulldog Stadium as the sun is

(53:17):
finally set and we get a little breeze. But the
beautiful night here for football empties the backfield as Toby Key,
he drops back pressure comes, dumps it off to Blake Johnson.
Blake across the forty five, Blake gets the block down field.
Blake's got the sidelines inside the twenty five. Blake following
the army down field inside the five touchdown.

Speaker 1 (53:36):
Blake Johnson, he.

Speaker 4 (53:38):
Just rode his boys down field and takes it the
distance for a Bulldog touchdown with two fifty three left
on a screen pass. You give it to you big
two hundred and fifty pound hog, Molly, And that was true.
Mel Sparks, Corbet Fears and Darius Whittlow downfield blocking. But
we do have an injured lineman downfield and the scary

(53:59):
sight here at the forty five yard line, and hopefully
this is just a cramp, but they're checking the knee
here one of the big fellas, and play will be
stopped while we check on the player. And Jason I
missed the original line of scrimmage on that but that
was a that was a fifty plus yard touchdown catch

(54:25):
and run. Most of it was a run after catch
there by big Blake Johnson. The patience of his running. Coach,
I tell you, Blake's such a big guy, but he runs.
I mean, it's it's almost it's an art the way
he runs, coach, Because sometimes you go back to that
Hoover run that he had on a on a twenty
yard run on a third and one in the Hoover

(54:45):
game in the second half, Eric Mason. Good to see
him coming up on his own power there. But I
go back to that run a lot, coach, and I
just didn't how in the world did that guy make
that run? And he remember, he gracefully can move through
the line, and then he he's got the speed to
kind of break away from pretty fast people. He's just
he's a he's a talented athlete. You look at him

(55:06):
and you go, this guy's not a football player that
could run the football in seven A, but he is
one of those dynamic players.

Speaker 1 (55:13):
You'll see.

Speaker 4 (55:16):
Second touchdown for Blake Johnson a reception to receiving touchdowns
tonight and the extra point up and good.

Speaker 1 (55:22):
By Reese Beasley twenty eight.

Speaker 4 (55:25):
Nothing opal like a leading over with Tumpka about the
four seasons Federal Credit Union sideline report. After that, make McCracken,
what'd you think of that? Blake Johnson run.

Speaker 5 (55:33):
Hey, it's just like you said, Van just a just
a big athlete who Yeah, he's just so hard to
take down. But I mean he's got moves, you got
it all. And that's I'm glad he's on. I'm glad
he's sending the red and black. I can tell you
that much and make you wait, you got CJ. Johnson
that's gonna be on this offense coming up. And I
tell you this offense and you and you add in
your receivers stepping up and growing, this is going to

(55:55):
be a dangerous offense.

Speaker 1 (55:56):
I saw, yes, one hundred percent. We were talking about
that down there.

Speaker 5 (56:00):
Once we get all the pieces together and add it
is gonna be a very electric offense. And then of course,
you know, the defense is going to continue to get better,
maybe even if we you know, certain situations, flip some
guys over during some short yarders or anything like that.
But this is gonna be a fun, fun, fun football
team to watch. This Fog can tell you no doubt
about it.

Speaker 4 (56:18):
Matt mccrack and roaming our sidelines, Reese Beasley has it
teed up two point fifty three remaining here in the
second quarter of play, and the Bulldogs have extended their
lead four touchdown lead over with tump coul they lead
at twenty eight nothing. Two Blake Johnson touchdowns, actually three
Blake Johnson touchdowns. You got two through the air and

(56:39):
one on the ground and a touchdown by Jalen Washington
into over end kick that will sail into the end zone.
Another good kick, and they fired up Ryes Beasley down
there on the field. Coach, he was excited to see
that will go with the end zone.

Speaker 6 (56:54):
And coach, you love the kicking department, Yes, sir, six
yards deepened the end zone on that one.

Speaker 4 (57:04):
Well, don't forget Bulldog fans. And of course a lot
happening here in the off season leading into the start
of the fall. But if you get a chance, and
you remember the Quarterback Club last year, they are taking
renewals right now for the Quarterback Club for the upcoming season.
There will be a pre season steak dinner that will
be kicking off exclusively four Quarterback Club members and make

(57:26):
sure and go ahead and get signed up. There is
a QR code and links right now on Bulldog social media,
so make sure and renew and join the Quarterback Club.
If you weren't a Quarterback Club member last year, you
can certainly sign up now. First down, short run by
the Indians, pick up a three there and Leakedrick Burks

(57:47):
again coming in there on the stop. This will be
a third and seven coming up here for the Indians,
carried up to the twenty three yard line, So second
down and seven are more like a second and eight.
It looks like two twenty two left here and the

(58:08):
clock continuing to run. Two wide receivers to the left,
two wide receivers to the right, and the quarterback Clary
brings a man in motion trying to get open like
at a jump. They say they did, but I think
it may be a false start against with tempka now
off sides against Bulldogs, So if somebody did jump, that's

(58:29):
what they were sicklen, and I think they got the call.
Another guy that's been impressed at tonight coach is getting
a lot of snaps on that defensive line is Carson Riddle.
He's a guy that came over and played baseball in
the spring and comes over from Auburn and he's getting
a lot of snaps over on that defensive line.

Speaker 1 (58:47):
Good to see him.

Speaker 2 (58:48):
He's done good.

Speaker 1 (58:49):
Number ninety nine, yes, sir.

Speaker 4 (58:50):
Second out in two here for with Tempka after that
penalty under one fifty now trips receivers to the left,
single receiver right. Clary drops back, throws deep down field.
Good coverage by the Bulldogs and no one has picked
off at the thirty one yard line. A big time
interception there by tris Jamel Griffin, sophomore on the chart

(59:13):
right now, he's actually a junior.

Speaker 2 (59:15):
He called it an incomplete pas Oh day.

Speaker 1 (59:20):
They say it hit the ground complete.

Speaker 4 (59:23):
Almost a big time interception there by Jamel Griffin.

Speaker 1 (59:30):
So it'll be third and three.

Speaker 4 (59:31):
So if Tumpkin tries to take a shot, almost intercepted,
but really tight coverage on the back end there by Griffin,
and we see Xavier Thomas check at the ball game
play in that safety position here, third and three for
the Indians. One thirty nine left here in the second quarter,
going for a speech week quarterback trying to run for

(59:53):
it again and he won't get there. Picked up a
half a yard maybe good get the most and that
was a good stop there by the Bulldogs. To Resk
Thomas on the stop for the Bulldogs and also Maley
Kai Grant, a sophomore defensive line and number ninety seven
in there under the pile, and it will be fourth

(01:00:15):
down in three Indians looking line. They're going to keep
their offense out, but they do have their punter on
the field in the huddle. But fourth and one, they're
going to go for it here with just under a
minute to go, they'll bring a man in motion trying
to get the Bulldogs to jump here looks like and

(01:00:36):
now they'll take a time out, So coach bear Woods
quickly comes in Colls time out. We'll step aside. Fourth
in two or one really coming up here for the Indians.
We come back here on the kicker and he has
taken time out. They will punt it away and waiting

(01:00:58):
for it is Jalen Washington, and Jalen will let it
bounce in roll and Jalen will let it roll down
at the twenty yard line and it will be down
at the twenty yard line.

Speaker 1 (01:01:17):
Thirty six.

Speaker 4 (01:01:22):
All they say may have touched it, but I think
they're going to bring it back up, Jason, I think
you're right. You get hit a with Tumpka player up
here at around the thirty six yard line. So hopeay,
like I'm gonna get a little better field position. Yep,
good call on that one. Our eye in the sky here,
Jason Lee all over that one. Twenty eight nothing, Opelika.

(01:01:43):
With the lead, thirty nine seconds left. It's the spring
football game, Opelika. Take it on with Tumpka tonight. Glad
you're with us here on the kickers. We come to
you from the orthfeeda clinic broadcast booth. Blake Johnson already
with three touchdowns tonight. He has lined up at full
back and here's Kobe Key dropping back. He wants take
a shot downfield. He's got Jalen komp at the thirty
yard line, a big time reception there and a big

(01:02:08):
pickup there, thirty five yard pickup there on the throw
and catch to Jalen Washington and the Bulldogs are in
business here with thirty three seconds left, all the way
down to the thirty yard line of with Tumpcoe. Thirty
three seconds left, and here's Kolbe Key dropping back. He

(01:02:30):
got pressured steps up in the pocket. Key is in
some trouble and he is going to be hit brought
down back at the thirty five. Turing the thirty four
is whether they'll say his forward progress stopped and it
will be second down in fourteen coming up for Opalke
and the Bulldogs will have to quickly come in and
call a time out and stop the clock. Here with
twenty three seconds left, and I saw another player get
banged up a little bit, and we see the hammer

(01:02:51):
a little bit hobbled coming off the field, and Blake
kind of goes down to a knee here he might
have a cramp. We do have a time out on
the field and we will keep it right here twenty eight.
Nothing is our score. But a reminder again a couple
of things going on. Like we said quarterback club renewals

(01:03:12):
going on right now, and also that was recently announced
they'll be in Opalaika Athletics golf tournament coming up in
late July. It'll be on the twenty eighth, that's a
Monday at Robert Trent Jones, So you can go ahead
and sign your teams up for that. It'll benefit all
opal Like Athletics. So that's on a Monday, June July
twenty eighth, I should say July twenty eighth, so go
ahead and sign up for that.

Speaker 1 (01:03:33):
Fortunately, I will be able to participate in that.

Speaker 3 (01:03:34):
Wee.

Speaker 4 (01:03:34):
We'll be getting ready for our high school football Media Days,
which will be the following day. Opalaiko will be there
on the Wednesday to wrap up high school football Media Days.
That'll be Wednesday, July the thirtieth, So a busy week
that week yet o Plika Golf Tournament, the twenty eighth
high School Football Media Days the twenty ninth and the
thirtieth back at the Bottling Plan Events Center in Opelaika.

(01:03:56):
Out of the time out, Bulldogs will have twenty five
seconds to work with here. He ate nothing leading and
trying to add to it here a second and fourteen
at the Woodtempka twenty four yard line. Colby's gonna set
up a screen pass here to Jalen. Jalen's inside the
twenty five. Jalen got a block at the fifteen. Jalen
turns the sidelines and he's forced out of tounds at
around the six yard line. Jalen Nelson with a good

(01:04:17):
block down field two leading the way on that one,
and Washington's got the Bulldogs set up first and goal,
clock stop with seventeen seconds left. Bulldogs will try to
hurry up as the ball is spotted down at the
six yard line. Jalen was pushed out of bounds, so
the clock will be stopped. Nelson is the tailback here

(01:04:39):
for Colby Key. First and goal at the six yard line.
Key drops back play action just missed. This guy overshot
him in the end zone. Was trying to get it
to Jalen Washington right there in the end zone on
the little out route. It's incomplete. Stops the clock with
twelve seconds left. It'll be second and goal from the

(01:04:59):
six twenty eight nothing our score. Bulldogs in control of
this one and trying to add another one a cherry
on top and head to a easy third quarter. Jakari
Walton in the ball game, He's lined up at a

(01:05:20):
wide out far side of the field, Leland Bell to
the right, and a flag comes in, stops the clock.

Speaker 1 (01:05:28):
And stops the play.

Speaker 2 (01:05:31):
I think what tempo was offside?

Speaker 4 (01:05:33):
I think they were too. That is what the penalty is.
Offsides on with Tumpka, so that will be a half
the distance to the gold penalty, so it'll move it
down inside the five down to about the four eleven

(01:05:53):
seconds left. It'll be second down and down to the
three yard line, so the Bulldogs will try to add
to their lead.

Speaker 1 (01:06:02):
Here up to twenty eight nothing on with Tumpka.

Speaker 4 (01:06:09):
See who Colby goes to here, he's got twelve seconds
to work with two white outs again to the left,
single to see the right, same formation again here in
Nelson the loan back. Colby gonna roll to his left, looks,
throws back of the end zone, and it is that
the interference ain't not Jalen out of bounds. He wasn't
gonna catch it anyway, but that was gonna be now
a no doubt or pass interference on Jalen. He just

(01:06:31):
knocked him before the ball got there and gave him
no opportunity to come back on it. So that'll be
pass interference. But six seconds to work with though, and
they'll move the football just a little bit closer here.
And now do you run the ball, coach, and you
throw it again here? You got six seconds If you're running,
that may be it.

Speaker 2 (01:06:51):
Let's see where's it gonna be at.

Speaker 1 (01:06:52):
It's gonna be on the one, probably about the two.

Speaker 2 (01:06:55):
Yeah, I'd run it. I'd run it.

Speaker 4 (01:06:58):
And Blake was a little banged up, so he's not
in the game right now, all right, So he is
in the game. They brought the big time the Hammer.
Then the hammer package is in, so it is an
I backfield here with Blake Johnson, Jalen Nelson and now
with Tumpkin wants to take a time out as they
see the Hammer package, they call time out. Six seconds left,
twenty eight nothing our score. Mac McCracken's heading on the

(01:07:19):
field to get in the middle of that huddle down there,
and coach, what have you seeing so far? What's impressed
you about the Bulldog so far?

Speaker 8 (01:07:29):
Can you hear you?

Speaker 2 (01:07:30):
Man?

Speaker 1 (01:07:31):
No, I was talking to you, coach. I just say
I just want to know what but it was impressing you, coach.

Speaker 6 (01:07:35):
So far since midway through the first quarter, they have
completely shut down with Tumpkin's offense.

Speaker 2 (01:07:44):
They an't been able to do anything.

Speaker 6 (01:07:45):
After the what five minutes, five or six minutes into
the first quarter, and and then third down conversions.

Speaker 2 (01:07:54):
And making big plays.

Speaker 6 (01:07:56):
I bet you we have I'm not doing stats to
but I'll bet you we have somewhere around fifteen big
plays well run over ten or a pass over fifteen.
I'll bet you we Tumpka has no more than five,
maybe less than that.

Speaker 2 (01:08:14):
That's the difference in the game.

Speaker 4 (01:08:16):
All right, we'll see what the Bulldogs do out of
the with Tumpka time out. Look here, Look it is
Blake Johnson running the wildcat quarterback. Here, Blake Johnson will
take the snap, Blake runs to the right. Blake is
in the end zone with the Bulldog touchdown, Blake's fourth
touchdown of the night for the Hammer.

Speaker 1 (01:08:33):
Oh goodness, what can he do?

Speaker 8 (01:08:36):
He can?

Speaker 1 (01:08:37):
Blake quarterback as well?

Speaker 4 (01:08:38):
And as the Bulldogs leading thirty four to nothing over
the Indians, of what Tumpka as time expires, and to
give Reese Beasley one final chance here for an extra point.
Actually it will be another kicker here getting an opportunity
here for the Bulldogs. This will be Beavers, I believe,
getting an opportunity here, number fifty. So that extra point

(01:09:02):
is up and good, so good to see him with
Cooper with a good hole there and snap good thereby.

Speaker 1 (01:09:09):
Cam Raley. Thirty five nothing.

Speaker 4 (01:09:12):
That'll be the end of action here through two quarters
of play, and it's been all over pol like over
with Tumpka thirty five to nothing. And Coach Moore and
Coach Woods comes meet at the middle of film, and
then we'll meet at the middle of the field. Matt
go find out exactly what they determine here. After they
conversate how they want to run this third quarter, we'll

(01:09:32):
take a time out.

Speaker 1 (01:09:33):
We'll be back. You're listening to Bulldog football here. I'm
the kicker, all right.

Speaker 4 (01:09:41):
He'll be the start of a running clock here in
the third quarters of Bulldogs open up play leading thirty
five to nothing with Tompka with a pretty good run
there on first down, and that play will gain close
to eight yards to pick up from the thirty yard
line all the way up to the thirty so good
pick up there by with Tempka as the clock attendes

(01:10:03):
for Wine here nine twenty five, there will we know,
stopping the clock here in the second half, we'll see
a lot of second team guys and most of the
first teams still out there for with Tempka, though, come
Onie Clary, the starting quarterback running the show here for
the Indians. He'll have a second down in two from
his own thirty eight yard line. Here, Indians opening up

(01:10:24):
the third quarter trailing thirty.

Speaker 1 (01:10:25):
Five to nothing.

Speaker 4 (01:10:27):
Now bring a man in motion, Denmark trying to block
here for the tailback who's going to be swallowed up
in the backfield, and I stopped there.

Speaker 1 (01:10:35):
Good job by Opelaika.

Speaker 2 (01:10:37):
Malakai, grind.

Speaker 6 (01:10:40):
Jay Holloway and aidenth lin in there for the Bulldogs.

Speaker 4 (01:10:45):
Com O young Blood another guy that gets in there
on the stop here for Opalaika, so good looking play there.
So this will be a third down and three for
with Tempka from there on thirty seven yard line, eight
twenty eight.

Speaker 1 (01:11:01):
The clock runs here.

Speaker 4 (01:11:02):
In the final quarter of the spring game, it'll be
trips receivers out to the right side, single receiver to
the left side. Here clary out of the shotgun. He'll
bring a man in motion and Clariy gets a snamp
play action rolls here to the near side, pressure throws.
He's got a man. It's caught first down across midfield

(01:11:25):
in a good turn up field after the catch there
by number eighty eight, that is John wingerd on the
reception there for the Indians. He's got the first down
down to the forty four of opelikam So first down
and ten inside the forty five down to the forty
four as the Indians are in Opelika territory. Hadn't been

(01:11:48):
on this side of the fifty much tonight as they
trail thirty five nothing ninety eight days coach mccrack until
game one on August twenty second. So it's been a
fun little preview here to wrap up the spring play
action here for the Indians, and just overshot his back

(01:12:09):
out of the backfield. Did Clary a little high intended
for Dion Floyd incomplete second down and the clock will
continue to run here. Clock operator is gonna have an
easy third quarter here as this ten minute quarter started
and will not stop regardless of whatever happens here on
the field. Under seven now left here in the ball game.

(01:12:32):
Stay tuned after the game, though. Coach Brian Morrilly joining
us to recap the spring and the spring football game tonight.
We had a great crowd here inside of Bulldog Stadium
for this one, coach.

Speaker 2 (01:12:42):
Sure dead, sure dead, great crowd.

Speaker 4 (01:12:45):
Six forty four left, two whiteouts either side. Clary brings
a man in motion, fakes it to him. Claire the
quarterback will keep it himself, tries to bounce it outside,
got a good block on the far side of the field,
turns it upfield. He's got a first down and some
and on the back side of that, he got a
hit and took a big shot out of bounds, but

(01:13:06):
it will be enough for a first down. I think
they say he was out of bounds at the thirty
one yard line, but it will be a first down
for the Indians. As we wind six fifteen, remaining here
in the ballgame, opal Like again leading thirty five nothing
over with Tumpka had a good crowd of stayed put.

(01:13:32):
Coach got many big plans for the summer as we
get ready for the summer break. You miss Peggy, got
vacations lined up.

Speaker 2 (01:13:40):
Not yet. We're working on it, all right. We're gonna
come up with some things.

Speaker 1 (01:13:44):
All right.

Speaker 4 (01:13:44):
For the thirty one there's a handoff left side Jordan
hill On a big shot there, leaking Drick Burks back
in the game and he makes a good stop there
from the linebacker spot.

Speaker 1 (01:13:54):
And he's been continuing to make big plays for the defense.

Speaker 4 (01:14:06):
Five twenty three remaining thirty five nothing again our score
o Palaika with the lead. Opelika is yet to have
a football here in the third quarter with Tumka try
to wrap this one up five oh five remaining and
a quarterback drops back throws here near side, it is

(01:14:29):
caught by the tight end. He slips a tackle down
the sidelines and he is brought down at the five
yard line. And that was a touchdown saving stop by
Xavier Thomas. Andrew Foyles on the reception, and he's got
a with Tumka first down and we first didn't go
for the Indians. Is there inside the five down to
the four and foils hits the deck here and they

(01:14:51):
will stop the clock.

Speaker 1 (01:14:52):
I guess.

Speaker 6 (01:14:55):
That's cramps right there. Yeah, yeah, and they are they're
them's hurt man. I'm gonna tell you, they do stop
the clock. Here are four thirty remainings. So there is
an injury time out here on the field, so we'll
take a quick time out. You listen to bulldog football
here on the kicker. Andrew Boyles was the injury to

(01:15:20):
banged up player for with Tumpka, and he had the
good run there to set up first and goal inside
the five down of the four and he comes al
of his own power. May have just been cramps there
is what it looks like. So be first and goal
from the four here for the Indians trying to punch
it in for the first time tonight. They trail thirty
five nothing give to the tailback, slips inside the job

(01:15:43):
three yard line and gonna be brought down there by
Lake Drick Burks again good stopped there by berts.

Speaker 1 (01:15:52):
Coln continues to run three thirty two.

Speaker 4 (01:15:53):
We may not see it, but I can get the
football here in the third quarter and he, coach More,
will be fine with that.

Speaker 2 (01:15:59):
Yeah, we've got our number one, number one linebackers in there.
He don't want them to he doesn't want them to score.

Speaker 4 (01:16:06):
No, he does not see a couple of big guys
getting in there on the defensive line. We haven't seen yet.
Rayson Harris, an upcoming senior up there a defensive line
along with their several others. Second and goal from the three,
and it's gonna be a throw back of the end zone,

(01:16:26):
and they're gonna call interference on the Bulldogs as that
pass was intended for Christian Wilkes in the back corner
of the end zone. But they're gonna get the Bulldogs
for interference. So Clin continues to run though two forty

(01:16:47):
and it will be first and second down, go on,
check that second down, he's second out and goal from
the right end the one here for what Umpko trying
to punch it in for the first time to night
as a trail thirty five to nothing.

Speaker 1 (01:17:09):
And the Bulldog spring football game almost.

Speaker 4 (01:17:13):
In the books here, Claire, he gets the stamp and
the gift to the tailback and he's not gonna get it.

Speaker 1 (01:17:20):
He's gonna be brought down and.

Speaker 4 (01:17:21):
Goods he fits a pursuit there, four or five Opalaika
players there driving that he's running back in the wrong direction,
and uh boy, Peyton finch Ford didn't have.

Speaker 1 (01:17:31):
Much to work with there.

Speaker 2 (01:17:33):
He's back to the five yard line almost.

Speaker 4 (01:17:36):
Yeah to Cody Jackson in there and three yard line
I believe Lake Drick Burks was in there and JV
and Holloway also in there on the stop for Opal
liking with Tumpkin, is going to stop the clock here
and try to think things over here. One forty two
left here in this ball game. Third in goal coming

(01:17:58):
up here for the Indians. We're back after this time
out here on the kicker.

Speaker 1 (01:18:05):
Well, with some kind of the.

Speaker 4 (01:18:06):
Time out, they'll try to punch it in for the
first time tonight, third and gold after the time out
one and thirty seven remaining here and the quarterback clear,
he gets the snap and play action throws at the
back of the end zone and they get the big
tight end there in the back of the end zone.
On the reception there was John wingerd and he was
all alone wide opening the back of the end zone.
So with Tumka, well wipe the goose egg off the

(01:18:29):
field and they'll get a touchdown on the board. One
fifteen remaining, and.

Speaker 6 (01:18:35):
Yeah, we're playing man coverage back there, and somebody forgot
to play man coverage.

Speaker 4 (01:18:40):
Learning opportunity there for that young group here. It's a
thirty five six ball game now, and with Tompka taking
their time, it's under a minute to go here, and
with Toumka are going to go ahead and roll for
a two point conversion here. With Tumka, we'll open up
their season. Like we mentioned earlier, this game not too

(01:19:03):
far down the road at border Guard, I'm sure the
Hornets are here scouting, rolling here to the near side.
They throw and drop good copboads there by Opelikah and
that was well defended there by Braden Howard, an upcoming
junior defensive back and just twenty eight seconds left, Opelikah
will try to rush an offensive unit out there. I

(01:19:29):
don't think they're gonna have any time. Well, you kind
of hate for some of these guys not to get
an opportunity here.

Speaker 2 (01:19:37):
Yeah, maybe they even get one snap. Gotta have to hurry.

Speaker 4 (01:19:41):
They're gonna try to hurry and get it in there.
Number twelve full or young is gonna try to get
a snap down to three, down to two.

Speaker 1 (01:19:49):
Again and the clock runs out.

Speaker 4 (01:19:55):
Oh gosh, and that will end the he's here Bulldog Stadium.
So Opalika unable to get an offensive snap for some
of the younger guys here in this second half of
what was a short ball game but a big win
for the Bulldogs here in the spring thirty five six
certainly something positive to build off of as we head
into the offseason. Coach Brian, We're going to be joining

(01:20:16):
us as we get ready for our postgame show. Is
a shortened ball game here in the spring, but good
finish here for opal likea thirty five six Dogs win
it tonight over the with Tumka Indians here to wrap
up the twenty twenty five spring schedule for the Bulldogs.
We're back after this time out. You're listening to Bulldog
football here on the kicker back here inside Bulldog Stadium.

(01:20:46):
Dogs a winner tonight over with Tumka in the spring
football game. Thirty five to six was our final score
and a good night tonight for the Opelika Bulldogs. It
was a four touchdown night for Blake the Hammer Johnson,
also Jaylen Washington getting in the mix with a touchdown.

Speaker 1 (01:21:00):
Well and Mac down there on the field, mag hawahaa Harberg,
You are you pretty happy down there?

Speaker 2 (01:21:04):
Yeah? I'm good to go.

Speaker 1 (01:21:05):
Man. You know what I got rolled up there on
that last play? Oh you okay? Oh yeah, That's gonna
be a good feeling to watch, though. I'll tell you that.

Speaker 2 (01:21:13):
You know.

Speaker 4 (01:21:13):
The one thing, you know, we broke out our shirts tonight.
Thank thank you to Rainer Meadows for getting us our coach,
but cracking shirts printed up.

Speaker 1 (01:21:20):
The one thing coach didn't say one time tonight.

Speaker 6 (01:21:22):
Mac.

Speaker 5 (01:21:24):
I know, I know he learned, because yeah, he said, Junior,
Do I really say that? I said, Dad, you say
it like right when he breaks to the line of
the scrimmage. You want to know right then and there,
I said again, if.

Speaker 4 (01:21:33):
Miss Peggy wants coach to start doing something around the house.
He just needs to make a shirt for it. How
about exactly exactly?

Speaker 5 (01:21:39):
But no, this is yeah, coach war is gonna come
up up the steps here in a minute. But like
I mean we were just talking this, this is gonna
be a really really fun ball club this fall, no doubt, Van.

Speaker 1 (01:21:50):
I mean, with the.

Speaker 5 (01:21:51):
Pieces that are all gonna come together, this's gonna be
explosive offense and defensively, they're gonna just they're gonna put
it all together. We're gonna go to special teams and
you know, the city of Opac about to get ready
for a good fall because this is gonna be a
fun team.

Speaker 1 (01:22:04):
Yeah, absolutely, no doubt about it.

Speaker 4 (01:22:05):
Thank you, Mack, and we'll see coach here shortly thirty
five six again our final score here a Bulldog Stadium
as the Opallaka Bulldogs not off the with Tumpkee Indians.
And of course, impressive night from Blake Johnson. Like we mentioned,
Jalen Washington certainly was impressive early in this game, and
a lot of good pieces defensively too. Coach, I know
we're gonna talk a lot about it as we continue
here at our postgame show, but we'll.

Speaker 1 (01:22:25):
Take a quick break.

Speaker 4 (01:22:26):
We'll come back here from Bulldog Stadium more to wrap
up the spring football game. After this time out, you're
listening to Opelaka football here on the kicker. We're back
here inside Bulldog Stadium. Opelako winner tonight over with Chumpko
thirty five to six here in a three quarter spring

(01:22:48):
game at Bulldog Stadium. Very impressive night tonight from the Bulldogs. Offensively, defensively,
even on special teams as well. I thought it was
all the way around pretty good tonight. And coach Brian
Moore joins up with us and coach let's start. I
don't know is Blake Johnson?

Speaker 1 (01:23:02):
Is he human? I don't know is he human?

Speaker 4 (01:23:05):
The things he does coach for such a big fellow,
The run on the screen pass, I just don't know
how in the world, the patience he has and then
the burst of speed at the end to get in
the end zone.

Speaker 8 (01:23:14):
That is.

Speaker 1 (01:23:15):
He is a talented guy.

Speaker 7 (01:23:16):
You know, we played a game at the twenty twelve
season when we made the state championship run. Ja Keil
had such an incredible run and we played a spring
game at you Paul, I like vividly remember and ja
Quel dominated that whole spring game, and it looked like
Blake like, it looked like it was just like, you know,
you get the same deal full back and do everything,

(01:23:38):
take direct snaps, catch a long ball and that sort
of thing, and it was just it was just awesome
to see. But you know, Kobe and a lot of
those guys had a lot to do with it. But
four touches, four touchdowns, I think that's a pretty good night.

Speaker 4 (01:23:51):
And we saw how explosive Jayalen Washington's going to be
for this team in the fall right off the bat
with us. I think he was responsible for seventy something
yards of that of that drive initially in the game
and then and then capped it off with a great
touchdown catch. The way he went to his left and
came back to the football to the right was so
impressive to us.

Speaker 8 (01:24:08):
Such a tough angle.

Speaker 7 (01:24:09):
It's the inside fade, uh slight fade that we threw
and you have all that grass, you know, he's got
you know, half the football field over there to work,
and Kobe threw it almost to the back pieline. For
him to turn over his right shoulder after looking inside
on his left was just incredible.

Speaker 8 (01:24:23):
It was a great throw and uh and.

Speaker 7 (01:24:25):
Just an incredible adjust but it takes a special player
that's played a lot of backyard football to adjust the.

Speaker 8 (01:24:29):
Ball like that.

Speaker 4 (01:24:30):
We were sitting here, coach going, how excited we are
about the offense first, because we know the CJ. Johnson
piece we're going to get in the fall. That's going
to be one of the more electric pieces that we
didn't see tonight. And you got Blake Johnson. You you're
so deep at running back. We were at the offensive
line had their hiccups tonight. I know you had snapping
is usually got new centers. That's gonna happen, but you

(01:24:50):
wanted to happen in a spring game.

Speaker 8 (01:24:52):
Yeah, and you know part of the snapping issue.

Speaker 7 (01:24:54):
Robert Woods has played our has been our center, and
he had the flu this week and so we held
him tonight.

Speaker 8 (01:24:59):
So that's part of it. With Darius going in there
and playing center.

Speaker 7 (01:25:02):
Which I still think Garius can do that and needs
to for us as well, and I think for his future,
you know, as far as possibly be an SEC guy.
He's a center, you know, because he's only about six
y two, so that he's going to play inside. But
but yeah, please with that, you know, other other additions too.
You know, you think about Bennett Youung coming back to
us in the fall, and then you know Andre Van
who moved in to us that we did not allow

(01:25:24):
to play tonight. So some pieces, some electric pieces. But
I agree with you Van, I'm excited about our offensive
football team. We've got to clean some things up up front.
And I said to Mac, you know, you know, two
of our guys came back and we felt like that
we have a lot of ability with our front, but
there's a lot of inexperience up there. So we cut
a guy, lose Kobe's side, steps of guy and hits
Blake down the sideline. I thought Kobe's mobility was really

(01:25:47):
really good tonight. He stayed in the pocket, but moved
in the pocket and kept his eyes downfield and found
some guys. And but yeah, you can see the maturation
of Colby.

Speaker 6 (01:25:56):
Uh.

Speaker 7 (01:25:57):
And you can see the trust with coachjak and in
calling place four and through him and a couple of
plays Kobe changed. It's the line of scrimmage too, So
UH just excited about that. And I think we've got
a chance to be pretty explosive on offense a group.

Speaker 4 (01:26:10):
I know you were really, you know, excited to see
what they did tonight, and I thought, boy, they were
really impressive. Was Lakdrick Berts and Caden Harris your linebackers
in general? Elijah Odin was very active back there, called
his name a lot. The defensive line. I think we
kind of knew, you know, Josh Davis Money and then
Tremain and those guys were gonna be there. But but
linebackers I thought were really good tonight.

Speaker 7 (01:26:28):
Boy they looked the part, don't they. They do are
pretty in there. And Lukeeddrick's really changed his body as.

Speaker 4 (01:26:33):
Long as they looked like dying and seven from five
from last year and they looked like with the same guys.

Speaker 7 (01:26:37):
I love it so much having those guys, you know,
we're just we're fortunate, you know, and they took those numbers.
It meant something to them and all that. But but yeah,
Tyler and ty and those guys and and AJ were
great players for us. But yeah, Lakidrick, I told the
coaches on the headset, I said, I don't know that
there's a kid more improved than Lukittrick Burt's on this team.

Speaker 8 (01:26:54):
Uh you know, I was.

Speaker 7 (01:26:56):
He was one of our captains tonight and I told him,
and I meant it as a compliment. This morning our
captain's meeting, I said, you know what, I look through
two hundred and fifty of Dedre Fenn's pictures to find
one picture of you from last year. I said, you
either running from the camera. You didn't play a whole lot.
And I said, for you to be a captain after playing,
you know as limited snaps, you know, ten to fifteen
percent of our snaps last year, just speaks volumes of

(01:27:18):
the type of person. He is, high GPA, he's a
college player. Of course K two had a good night
as well, you know, really excited about him, Elijah Trey
Stone coming to us, Really excited about Trey's future.

Speaker 8 (01:27:29):
Andrew barneaed in there. But you're right about the D
line as well.

Speaker 7 (01:27:33):
You know, we've got some experience back there as far
as rotational pieces. You know, Money and Josh played a
lot last year, most every game. And then you know,
Terres Thomas played good forty at the end spot. We
really needed him, and so I was excited about him.
And then some other guys, Grayson Harris, Carson you know
was in there as well, and Carson Riddle, and so

(01:27:53):
you know, we've got some pieces, some depth.

Speaker 8 (01:27:54):
Jay Holloway is a rising tenth grader that we really like.

Speaker 7 (01:27:57):
It's going to be a really good player for he'll
be he'll be a college player long term, and so
we're excited about that.

Speaker 4 (01:28:03):
Carson to me, plays a lot bigger than he is. Yeah,
he looks he looks a lot bigger on there than
and I remember him on the baseball field just a
few weeks ago.

Speaker 7 (01:28:11):
He's super strong, like he's he's really really strong, and
you can tell he spent a lot of time in
the weight room and he's and he's you know, a
little nasty, you know, he's got a little edge to
him and and uh plays really really hard in there
for a guy, you know, two hundred and sixty pounds,
you know, that's how heavy he is. He doesn't quite
look it, but he's too sixty in there.

Speaker 8 (01:28:28):
You know.

Speaker 7 (01:28:28):
He's got to play that way and be really physical.
And then our back in too. You know, some of
our young guys got to play a little bit faster.
Some of the screens they threw. We were late, our
safety late getting in the alley to fit those you know,
I thought as the game progressed. The corners kind of
set it, you know with that with that receiver blocking them,
But we didn't run the.

Speaker 8 (01:28:45):
Alley as fast. That's just experience.

Speaker 7 (01:28:47):
That's just you know, seeing and going and trusting my eyes.
And you know, we got five new back end guys
in there. You know, we had really a senior laden
group on the back and uh really the only one
that's played back there is Xavier Thomas.

Speaker 8 (01:28:58):
You know, he's played a bunch of golf and stuff.

Speaker 7 (01:29:00):
So other than that, you know, those guys are all
new and so I thought they got better as the
game went on.

Speaker 8 (01:29:06):
But we'll see them through the summer.

Speaker 7 (01:29:07):
You know, we all know that's a skill deal in
the summer, you know, all the seven on seven stuff,
you do, all the stuff in shorts. But at least
it trains their eyes and lets them run and play faster.

Speaker 4 (01:29:17):
And Jordan waits and I'm gonna let coach take over it.
But Jordan Waits to me, looks so much bigger. I mean,
if that's not a Cave McGee work course right there,
I mean, he is just he looks so much more
physical than he did last year.

Speaker 7 (01:29:31):
Well, you know, Jordan didn't really have a true offseason.
Last year, he didn't lift a whole lot. He was
running track and has decided tonight and just just play football.
Now our track kids are lifting more than they were.
But you know, really excited he gained twenty pounds this offseason.
He is undoubtedly our captain, our football team's captain, and
just a great kid. I was really worried about him

(01:29:52):
because he had a little kne deal before and it
was an ankle deal and we all saw him go
back in.

Speaker 8 (01:29:57):
I was so thankful.

Speaker 7 (01:29:58):
Eric Mason too, same thing, a little injury, but he
was fine and came back in the game.

Speaker 8 (01:30:01):
So it looks as though we got through it healthy.
But really proud of Jordan and the progress he's made
this offseason.

Speaker 6 (01:30:08):
The two stats that came out to me watching the
whole football game. Number one was no turnovers, And you
know that's you play a whole game like this in
the spring and you don't have a turnover. That is big, Brian,
I'm just telling you, And turnovers to me are one

(01:30:30):
of the big big things. And then the other one
is can I make more big plays than the other team?
A big play being a run over ten and a
pass over fifteen. The game started with we Tumpker having
like two big plays, and then after that we shut

(01:30:52):
them down and we started making the big plays. And
I would guess I didn't do the stats tonight, but
I would guess that five to one big plays as
the game went along, and we and our defense got
better and better and better and no turnovers. And tell

(01:31:13):
you what the little quarterback is. You're right, he I told.
I told Van, I think he's gotten a little taller also,
am I right? Yes, he's growing well, he can see
things a little bit better, and he's making decisions a
little bit better than.

Speaker 2 (01:31:28):
He did in the tenth grade.

Speaker 6 (01:31:30):
And uh I, those are the two things that really
that I saw without you know, stating everything, but those
are two huge things.

Speaker 8 (01:31:46):
I think your ball club really really handled those well well.

Speaker 7 (01:31:49):
Really proud of the boss security. And really I'm thinking
about the JV as well. I don't remember we threw
the interception was the only thing with the young crew
laid in that game. And we did get a stop
though we didn't let him score. Our defense stood up.
But you know, with the varsity coach, I agree, like
it's so hard in the spring to not have something
you know, ball on the ground.

Speaker 8 (01:32:09):
We had some snap.

Speaker 7 (01:32:09):
Issues, which again we'll get those corrected as we go,
but they really kill one drive.

Speaker 8 (01:32:13):
I mean that was really the only drive we didn't
really move. It was was a drive killer on a snap.

Speaker 7 (01:32:18):
And so you know, after that, I thought, I thought
we were really good and we stayed ahead of the chains.
And you know, you've talked a lot, and I totally
agree about explosives, and I think, you know, for our
team last year, it was really hard to create those.
Those were hard. They came from Calvin some and Jamari
and they were hard to get. You know, we just
didn't want to put our quarterback in a bad spot,
you know. And everybody's I don't know why.

Speaker 8 (01:32:40):
We don't throw it.

Speaker 7 (01:32:40):
More said, well, I'm trying to, you know, not drop
this guy in degrees too fast. I mean, I think
he can handle it, but I just am trying to
protect him. And and and we have, you know, and
now he's full of confidence and he's made I mean, the.

Speaker 8 (01:32:52):
Throws are auling the money.

Speaker 7 (01:32:53):
I mean, even the screens, you know, think about that,
Like Jalen caught that little screen going down. I mean
it was right dead. I mean, he never broke stride.
I mean the throw to Blake on his screen he
scored on like perfect throw an out route to Jordan
Waite's I mean, just putting things on the money. We
can turn and run those yards after catch. I mean,
he's just making a difference with with how accurate he is,

(01:33:14):
and I just think it's It's been huge for our team,
and I'm excited about some of the creative ways and
again some of the pieces that are coming to us
that we'll have in the fall that you know, probably
three major pieces that weren't here tonight to be able
to get more creative and and and create more explosive explosives.

Speaker 4 (01:33:31):
I asked Baker during the JV game, I said, were
you running the balls out?

Speaker 1 (01:33:36):
He said, Nah, we can't do that right now.

Speaker 4 (01:33:38):
We've gotten things shuffled around, you know, And I said,
we got a little we got to work on the
ball boys.

Speaker 7 (01:33:43):
Yeah, he almost got tackled. I'm just telling you at
one point that we waited about. You know, it feels
like an attorney about fifteen seconds of this ball right
out there, and I swear he gave it to branch
Miller and made him run it because if it had
been Baker more out of clothes line him right there
on the sideline.

Speaker 4 (01:33:56):
He looked at me and he said, are you gonna
be up there during the game. I said, boy again,
I'm wonna be up there during the game. I said,
are you gonna be down here? He's I don't know,
kind of up in there right now. I was like,
oh goodness, Sodell. Yeah, well, coach, congratulations. I know this
was a big momentum going into the off season. You know,
we won't put folks to join the Quarterback Club because
coming up in the fall, we got a lot of

(01:34:16):
things lined up, including a big kickoff dinner and all
sorts of stuff. And then it's just the support. If
you weren't in the Quarterback Club last year, come on,
we want everybody to renew as well. Yeah, we're just
doing so much, you know, to try and you know,
promote our program from the what is it Dogs Unleashed
or that show. I don't do any of that, but
I enjoy watching them, the coaches shows, the Thursday luncheons.

(01:34:37):
We just want people to see what we're doing, like
we want people to see our kids and highlight them.
And the Quarterback Club is a way to you know,
really raise funds for our program so that we can
I mean, we had thirty five kids out there tonight
in those GPS track invests so that we know, like
and I can't wait to see the data to when
kid gets it to me.

Speaker 8 (01:34:55):
Coach McGee gets it to me and.

Speaker 7 (01:34:57):
He tells me, Okay, Jalen Washington ran twenty one miles
per and we can literally watch him, okay, as just
as you're looking at this field, run down the field
like a video game, and we can tell how fast
he's running, Like we can watch every step that he
took tonight and we can learn from that and grow
and anyway.

Speaker 8 (01:35:14):
I just think it's so cool.

Speaker 7 (01:35:15):
But the Quarterback Club allows us to do these things
that we're doing, and we just want people to be
part of our program. If there's a way, as people
are listening to me right now, that you can get
involved and you can help our kids, call me.

Speaker 8 (01:35:26):
I mean, let's let's do that.

Speaker 7 (01:35:27):
There's been so many ways from cooking burgers to buying popsicles,
to you know, just to just to you know, having
kids out fishing, you know, just anything to help us
continue to build the culture that we want. I think
it's so valuable. But I will say this, I don't
know what type of football team we're gonna have. I
think we've got a chance to have another good team,
and we're gonna work really hard at the things we
didn't do well tonight and we're gonna grow and learn.

(01:35:48):
But I really think this is a connected team, Like
this team really cares about each other. Man we go
to breakfast, we walk those kids over to breakfast. Chris Hurd,
who's one of the made one of the biggest turnarounds
I've ever seen, calls every body up.

Speaker 8 (01:36:00):
They all pray before they go to class.

Speaker 7 (01:36:02):
They eat breakfast together, They you know, break bread together,
they pray, they go to class. That's the type of
kid where the culture that we're trying to create, our
coaches or the continuity of our staff, bringing all of
our staff back, you know, that's a that's a thing
I know, coach going to you know, being a head
coach so long, like it's hard to bring all your
guys back and to have that second year. It's just
so different, you know how far ahead you are. So

(01:36:24):
I'm excited. And again back to the quarterback club, I
appreciate everybody getting involved but I love this team and
I'm excited about the future.

Speaker 4 (01:36:30):
Well, when you get ready for a pool party for
the guys this summer, you know who's got a swimming pool,
right right, Coach McCracken.

Speaker 2 (01:36:35):
I'll come over and put for business.

Speaker 7 (01:36:37):
The more the more boys like to swim as well,
you know, we may just slide them over to Nana's
and see what happens.

Speaker 1 (01:36:42):
And you know, you get busy this summer, just bring
them on over.

Speaker 2 (01:36:44):
You know you can be the lifeguard. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:36:48):
I'll bring my shirt too.

Speaker 4 (01:36:50):
And Jamie Williams final game here, I feel like he
had been at athletic director here for several years.

Speaker 1 (01:36:54):
He's moving over to Brookstone.

Speaker 4 (01:36:56):
I know I saw him earlier today, so that his
last order of business was to make sure we were
stip double food er in the press box and the
mission accomplished for him.

Speaker 8 (01:37:02):
Appreciate coach. You know, Coach was the first one to
call me.

Speaker 7 (01:37:05):
You know, when you know Coach Williams about this job
and the interview and that sort of thing, and formerly
called me, I guess you should say. But he really
has done a lot for me, and I appreciate him
and excited about coach Montel too and the job he's doing,
and it's just excited about our future.

Speaker 8 (01:37:20):
There's a there's a there's a great buzz right now.

Speaker 7 (01:37:22):
One thing Jamie said the other day, he send me
an email he said, it's amazing.

Speaker 8 (01:37:25):
The corporate sponsor response the year after football had a
good year.

Speaker 7 (01:37:30):
He said, it's been it's been really cool to see
our businesses get involved. And man, I just am so
thankful to our community and what they do and how
they pour into our kids.

Speaker 4 (01:37:39):
And I'll say this about coach Montel, Craig Montel, who
is now the AD and moving into the full time
role now officially. He was coming by different businesses with
coaches and taking you I know it's in the basketball
coaches and were visiting people in person.

Speaker 1 (01:37:54):
I thought that was really big. So, like you said, Coach,
things are moving in the right direction.

Speaker 4 (01:37:58):
But enjoy the wind. Appreciate it, as coach Brian Moore.
As we continue on our post game show, we'll put
a rap on things and we come back. You're listening
to Bulldog Football right here on ninety seven point seven
kicker Refel hi.

Speaker 1 (01:38:17):
Oh final segment here as.

Speaker 4 (01:38:18):
We wrap things up here for the Bulldog spring game
Van Riggs alongside coach Spence Mercracken, and I appreciate y'all
being with us tonight as we brought you the spring
game here, a three quarters shortened spring game, but a
very impressive outing here for the Bulldogs as they went
to tonight thirty five to six over what Tumpka. The
Bulldogs will open up there twenty twenty five season August
twenty second against Benjamin Russell.

Speaker 1 (01:38:38):
This is going to be a pretty loaded up group.

Speaker 4 (01:38:40):
From Benjamin Russell, they've got a brand new coach and
Kirk Johnson who comes over from Catholic. He's brought several
players with them to make the move to alex City,
and of course they had some talented folks back, including
Sadarian Morgan, one of the top players in the nation
there at wide receivers. So that'll be a big game
here Bulldog Stadium and folks. It may seem like a
long way away, but ninety eight days till kickoff and

(01:39:01):
with Tempka will open up their season not too far
down the road against Boorer Guard and that will be
a big game there at Boorguard for with temp could
open up their season, they certainly got some pretty impressive
pieces there tonight as well, some good looking players and
several with D one offers and a good test tonight
for this opal like a team but got.

Speaker 1 (01:39:19):
Out helped this game with a win and a lot
shown to this coaching staff.

Speaker 4 (01:39:23):
I know that will be big as we head into
the summer break, and enjoy your summer and we'll be back,
of course August twenty second against Benjamin Russell, back here
at Bulldog Stadium for coach Bence McCracken and mc McCracken
and Jason Lee. I'm Van Rigg. So long everybody, and
go dogs, and we'll see you August twenty second, back
here at Bulldog Stadium.
