Speaker 1 (00:00):
It is LA's number one hits music station. Ryan Seacrest
with you on this Tuesday, the fourth day of June
or iHeart Radio Music Festival you've been hearing about. That's
all morning long. We've got Doja Cat and Hozier and
Camila Cabo, Gwen Stefani is going to be there, the

(00:20):
Black Crows, Thomas Rat I love it. It's just all
all musicians, all artists, any genre, no barriers. No, well, Shaboozi,
have you shibo time? Have you spent with Shaboozi?

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Uh? Actually a lot because I love that song.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
But not Shaboozi in in the Flesh.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
No, no, no, no, no, justn't either.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
I haven't either, But I'm going to change that between
now and the iHeart Radio Music.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Vest trying to get him on the show.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
We're going to just spend a little time with Shaboozie somehow,
quality time. Uh. Big Sean's going to be there, kids
on the Keith Urban Paramore. It's just great anyway. All
the informations at Kiss fm dot com. Keyword Festival, our
exclusive capital on cardholder presales starts next Monday. Next Wednesday's
already June twelfth. Crazy, It's crazy well, we've been sort

(01:07):
of biting our tongues and waiting for the right moment.
It's been an active morning this morning, just to start
to get you into your rhythm before we go back
and get into Tanya's groundbreaking trip to Miami for swim Week.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
That's right, baby.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
I didn't realize how big of a deal a swim
week is until you put on my radar and then
I started to what was I doing scrolling? I was scrolling.
A lot of people go to this swim week out
of shows.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
It's a really big deal with a lot of people.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
And so Tanya was invited to go walk in swim
Week and initially thought this isn't my thing. I'm not
a model, but then said, that's why I'm going to
do it. Uh huh, because I'm getting out of my
comfort zone. It's all about what can you do to
push your personal best?

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Yep, And like, how I'm not in a box. I'm
gonna unbox myself.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
How did it go? Want to know everything?

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Okay, it was so great. I slept zero.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
I think I slept maybe four hours total the whole
entire weekend, which was.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Not great because you were nervous.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
I was nervous.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
There was just like a lot and then after the show,
there was just so much adrenaline in me that like
I could not fall asleep to at all.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
But we'd get you.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
You end up getting there very early, and so because
like the they have to dress you and then put
the jewelry on you and kind of fixing your hair
and makeup, and then you're doing these walkthroughs and the
whole process was just like wild to experience. But we
did the walkthrough and guess what I did. What's the
one thing you don't want to do as a.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Model, Well, there's so many things that come to mind
when I think of modeling for myself. I don't want
to trip, have di oh trip, I have digestive issues.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Oh no, no, no, Well that was also a problem.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
But I tripped.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
I tripped in the rehearsal.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Yeah, how how did you trip? And what foot? Like
what were you wearing on your feet? So I should have.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
Worn the heels that I was actually gonna wear for
the show, But I was wearing these like these like
chunkier heels just for the walkthrough, and they had turf
on top of turf, and so it was like bubbling
a lot, like as I bubbled up carpet a little
bit and so my ankle slid in the.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Rehearsal and I was like, aha, I was like looking
at the designer, I was like, it won't happen on
the real show.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
I'm sorry, but I just kind of played it off
and kept walking or whatever.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
The sky. The other thing that I did not realize
when I.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
Was doing it, I figured like I would walk out
and it would look like a concert with like everybody
like cheering and dancing. You know, it is not like
that everybody is sitting in their seats and they're just
staring at you walking.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
It's like one of those fashion shows that I see
in everywhere anywhere, right, Yeah, yeah, you're sitting quietly, straight
up in their chairs.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Yes, watching you.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
And so I felt the crowd engagement felt weird because
I wasn't really getting.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
They're quiet, they're not getting any feedback.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
So what I did is I just like kept my
hands up the whole time. It was just like partying
with myself. And then when I got to the end
of the runway, I did this like heart, you know,
like the Adriana Lima heart, and I blew a kiss
and after I finished, I just was so happy that
I literally was like prancing down on my way back.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Well, and these photos are up? Is this your Instagram?
We're looking at her? Yeah, your photos are up on
Instagram if you want to see Tanya's swim suit weak
modeling debut.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
Yeah. And then the designer actually, so I was her
finale model, which is like a big honor to like
walk out with the designer at the end, and she
came up to me before and was just like, I
want you to know, I'm.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
So grateful that you're here.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
I really admire and love everything that you represent and
that you stand for, and I'm so glad like to
have you a part of my show. And like I started,
I was like almost wanting to cry, but it was
just like such a cool experience altogether, Like I never
know a million years would have thought that I would
have done that, And I'm so glad that I challenged
myself and I pushed myself and now I can say

(04:55):
like I'm a model.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
No boy, you heard that back there we.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
Go, but it's true, Like I don't know, like I
was told very early on in my career, like pick
a lane and stick to it. And it's just really
cool because I don't think that you have to do
that anymore, Like I just think that you can. We
can do whatever we want and put our mind to.
And I don't know, it was just like I was
really proud of myself.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
Well, we're proud of you as well. Great job. And
I think the other part of this is and I'm
just taking for myself personally, the thought of me taking
my shirt off in front of anybody, even my dog,
like I don't and the way that I contort my
posture and stomach to make myself look like I don't
really look even when I'm alone by a pool. I
give you credit for doing and you have all the

(05:42):
self confidence in the world. It is enviable.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
I appreciate that, and I'm like very comfortable being like that.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
The people that are staring at you in the front row,
it's say, I don't know who that guy with the
beard and the hat.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
No, And then imagine your backstage and the minute you
get off you have to like take your bikinis off.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
People are changed.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
You're completely like people are just nude all over and
they're videoing everything because there's videos and cameras back there
to get on and I was like, this is so wild.
It was just like so crazy to see all of
it going down.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Swim Week in Miami. Tanya is modeling debut, walk and
apparently back room. This would be the first of many
because she's now not.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
What's like, what's gonna What is it gonna be next year?
Like I was an author last year, model.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
Astronaut.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
Yeah, you never know, just gonna keeps well.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
They're great photos on Instagram if you want to see
them of Tanya doing her thing, proud of the self confidence.
Good on you. Let it be contagious for the rest
of us around here.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
Yeah, let's go.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
I want a modeling break. Unbox yourself Disneyland tickets in
one minute. Kiss FM
