the spice, where's the energy?

Speaker 3 (00:19):
It's like delay, I'm here on Tuesday.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Let's go l a back room. Good morning, Good morning.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
That's how it's done. But they had the benefit of
hearing us all.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
Fail so do too many things at once, like.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
In life.

Speaker 5 (00:41):
Actually we should really think about that. But no, what
was your back's hurting? I feel like sometimes if you're
working out and you're doing too much stuff with your
arms and your legs.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Can I tell you something? I work, I love exercise,
I love fitness. It's just part of my It keeps
my brain on track. I took the last four days
off working out, and it's made me.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
It's like a hard reset.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
It's impossible.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
I just I wanted to take like a day rest
of your body, and I was like, yeah, I don't
want to put in my schedule. Now it's been four
days on and done it and so everything's stiff and
tight and my But you know, working out for me
is more about my brain.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
I think it is.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Yes, it helps my brain. I guess that was my
body too, But how's my brain more than anything? Because
I obsess when I don't do it. All goes back
to childhood.

Speaker 6 (01:31):
You remember worked out with a weighted vest, or like
done a hike with.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
A weighted vest?

Speaker 1 (01:36):
Oh hike, I don't do?

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Okay, a walk or whatever?

Speaker 1 (01:39):
How many pounds is it? It depends.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
I actually get different pounds.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
So I do squats with the weight of it looks
like a like a like a swat team.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Okay, but do you know how much it weighs.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
I don't know. They put like mage twenty twenty five thirty.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
But I do squats with it or sometimes I'll do
my whole workout with it on because it conditions you have.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
You never used one.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
I've never used one.

Speaker 6 (02:04):
But the other day we went to the Dodger game
and I carried Seveya from the gate all the way
to the car. We were like the last lot, so
it was like a good ten minute, maybe even fifteen
minute walk. She weighs thirty two pounds, and I was
trying to get a center of gravity with her because
it was starting to hurt my back, and I'm just like,
this is what I must feel what like with a
weighted vest.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
I'm thinking, well you could. You could walk around the
way to vest and be very prepared for being a mom.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Was super sore the next day. So I don't know.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
I carried my niece up a hill the other day.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Did you see it?

Speaker 6 (02:36):
Like, I don't know if I could be a it's
a different center of gravity because they're on your hip
or they're in front of you.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Is it's not all?

Speaker 1 (02:43):
But she was totally fine to go for a walk.
And of a sudden the hill came. She's like, oh,
can you carry me?

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (02:48):
And You're like yeah, oh and saves this thing where
she doesn't want to be held by Michael.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
She's like, no, mommy, mommy, this is Hey.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Were you at the Dodger's Royals game.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
I was, yes. It was a Saturday night and Michael
actually caught one.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
Of the balls.

Speaker 6 (03:04):
I know they did lose, but he caught a ball
in his bare hand, catch it, caught it coming at
him all of us and I'm lifting up my hand
like my five foot body's gonna catch his ball, and
then you just see Michael dive and then grabs it
with his bare hand. The guy behind me got it
on video.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
It was like, if you go to a baseball game
with me, I'm the guy that moves out of the way.
He let Joe me Jim so afraid of that ball
coming out and he's gonna hit somebody else behind me.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
All right, let's see guys. Guys, guys, I'm gonna be busy.

Speaker 7 (03:31):
What is it?

Speaker 3 (03:32):
Tuesday the eighteenth, It's National Picnic Day?

Speaker 1 (03:36):
Like Tuesday? Who can get that in? Today? Hi, It's
National Sushi Day. Now that is more.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
Happy birthday to Garden Grove from sixty eighth birthday to
the Garden Grove Community.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Garden Grove, we.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
Got highs in the mid seventies up eighties Inland. Some
gloom this morning. Next week going to be hot. We've
got a major Oscar winner on the show this morning.
I'll tell you about all right, we are going to
talk to a major movie star, an Oscar winner.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
I love her.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Matter of fact, I was nervous to meet her when
I remember, I guess it was at the Oscars when
I first interviewed her on the red carpet, and I
studied my notes, my notes on her, like I try
to do with everybody. But I really studied for her.
I just think the world of her work. Lupita Nyongo
is the actress. She's awesome, it's so cool.

Speaker 6 (04:27):
Yeah, I've never met her, so I'm excited to have
her on and I'm really excited for this movie.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
So the movie is Day one, A Quiet Place Day One.
It's the prequel prequel, yeah.

Speaker 6 (04:37):
Because when you think about the first Quiet Place movie,
it kind of starts already with them quiet the aliens
have invaded.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
I want to know how it all.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
Happened exactly, and I need to know what time I
should watch this because I can't sometimes watch this before
I go to sleep. But so anyway, Lupita Neango is
coming up after seven o'clock this morning. We are also
going to do a second date update. So here's the deal.
They met on the beach last summer.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
Cute.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
That is kind of a cool place to meet. Ways,
you can really check.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Them out last summer. Did you say last summer?

Speaker 1 (05:11):
It says last summer.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Yeah, uh, he pursued her.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Wow. Yeah, that's a one time they went out.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
As they went out, they made plants for a second
date and she canceled this a mat a year ago.
Man plans for a second date at the very slow pace.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
This is man, it took them almost a year ago date.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
Get Maybe maybe she's building him up because he doesn't
move fast than maybe this.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
Is like a one that got away situation.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
Well seven, we're all going to be able to find
out it's a second date.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
Update. What did we miss last night while we were
sleeps siciny.

Speaker 6 (05:45):
Well firefighters continued to battle the post fire in the
Gorman area amid a red flag warning across much of
southern California, and a wildfire smoke advisory has been issued
for the Santa Clarita area. It has burned over fifteen
thousand acres and is about twenty percent contained. The Boston
Celtics won the twenty twenty four NBA Championship. It's Boston's

(06:07):
eighteenth title, passing the Lakers, who have seventeen.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Olivia Rodrigo announced two.

Speaker 6 (06:12):
Additional dates in LA for the Guts World Tour, bringing
the total to six. The new shows are August twentieth
and twenty first at Into It Dome, in addition to
four nights at the Kia Forum.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
And that's what happened overnight.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
We've got the back room busy at work over there,
We've got Ciciny, We've got Tanya, we got the second
date update.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
After seven o'clock this morning.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
Oscar winner Lupita Niango is going to be on the show. Uh.
I'm trying to handle this next moment on Just understand.
I'm trying to handle this next moment on the show
the best way I can. But I don't know that
I can. I don't think I can be valuable in this.

Speaker 4 (06:55):
Honey, Yeah, let me help you.

Speaker 5 (06:58):
So I had my annual appointment with my gynecologists a
couple of days ago, and I posted a picture on
my Instagram like what, well just have like my feet
in the stirrups and one of my.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
Can I ask why, yeah, why, Like why do you
why does that? Why do you feel like that's a
postable thing.

Speaker 5 (07:17):
So I love talking about female anything, gynecologists, period cycle
sinking like that is my emo. I want to make
it normal. I want to it's a part of our
lives as when I But I'm.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
Just saying, like, maybe you feel like if if you
go to the doctor, it's not every you don't want
to post all that.

Speaker 5 (07:36):
No, no, and I don't do it when I go
to my regular doctor.

Speaker 4 (07:39):
But GUYO thumbs up.

Speaker 5 (07:42):
You know what I'm saying, and yeses, and here we
go down this path.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
What's the question I need to ask?

Speaker 5 (07:48):
One of my friends responded and was like, you don't
wear socks at the Guyna collogist. That's so gross And
I never thought of it because they always just tell
you to get under They say like get undressed. You
know the top sheet, you wear it like a vest,
open in the front, and then you wear the bottom
one like a blanket.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
So I just.

Speaker 5 (08:07):
Fully get fully naked, shoes, socks, everything, but checks too.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
This is not just that the guy.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
I feel you're you're the one that tells us to
self proclaimed nudist.

Speaker 5 (08:18):
But my girlfriend was like, yes, you have to keep
your socks on. You never know how much you to
clean those those stirrups.

Speaker 6 (08:24):
But I hope you go to a place where they
disinfect everything.

Speaker 4 (08:27):
That's a doctor's office.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
But I would say any doctor's office, I would put
something on my feet to walk on the floor for cleanliness.

Speaker 5 (08:36):
Well, I never thought of it, like I literally always
there was just barefoot. And now I'm curious if I'm
in the if I'm.

Speaker 4 (08:44):
In the norm, if I'm totally everybody else wears socks.
Like now I'm in a sack.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
Room, bringing you in on this one, bringing you in
on this one. Uh, anybody want to.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
Respond to that?

Speaker 8 (08:54):
I feel like socks are necessary for sure, like keep
them on.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
To chime in.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
I can see if you went.

Speaker 6 (09:03):
If it's like middle of summer and you're not wearing
socks or your shoes, You're wearing like a sandal or something,
then what are you gonna do? Obviously you don't have.

Speaker 3 (09:09):
Socks, but this guy know specific or just doctor's office,
because I feel you should have something on your feet at.

Speaker 6 (09:14):
A prefer I mean, even if I'm in a hotel room,
I never am barefoot, so I like my feet covered.

Speaker 4 (09:21):
Yeah, that's just me.

Speaker 5 (09:22):
I never thought of it this way. Now I feel
like I am always going to put keep my socks on.

Speaker 1 (09:29):
I'm on your Instagram.

Speaker 4 (09:31):
Oh it's gone now it was in my story.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
Oh I trying to find it.

Speaker 4 (09:34):
No, it's gone.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
Do you know do you can I just say thank you?

Speaker 3 (09:38):
Do you know the great things that I get to
learn by being here in the middle of Sysney.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
Tanya Marianna, Mikaela Ruby.

Speaker 3 (09:46):
I mean it's like unbelievable, it really is it's it's
I'm blessed to have these conversations and glean the wisdom
by working with I think it's all it's all women,
it's all dude over, there's Mark.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
Should we talk about my mammogram appointment next?

Speaker 1 (10:07):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (10:08):
Bring it.

Speaker 3 (10:10):
I'm here to be a student so I can be
the best man on the planet.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
Yes, Bachrome medical is.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
You guys want to chime in on?

Speaker 4 (10:19):
So nobody goes barefoot except for me.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
I'm with you, Tanya, Okay, thank you. It's like they say,
to take everything, check your.

Speaker 3 (10:27):
Feet, just playing by the rules, taking out her rings,
her earrings. But Tany is the self proclaimed nudist, so
she likes to be that way.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
All right, Well, here we are mom, Ritan Seacrest. Are
you listening? My mom? Walks?

Speaker 3 (10:45):
It's this hour, get gets it su traveling right? A
lot of summer vacations. Hopefully you get a chance to
take a break from your grind. But there are three
travel hacks that will make your trip better this summer.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
Check it out.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
This is for flying Rose nine and seventeen. Get their
drinks first on Southwest Oh Rose nine and seventeen. You
get your drinks first on Southwest.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
I always wondered that because it's like the way they
push the cart and I'm.

Speaker 9 (11:15):
Start.

Speaker 3 (11:17):
The bathrooms by baggage claim are the cleanest and most
rarely used.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
That's actually true. I've noticed that.

Speaker 6 (11:27):
Yeah, because you get off a flight and what's the
first thing you do? You go to the nearest bathroom.
You don't wait, do you get to the baggage thing
because you're already peeing your pants.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (11:35):
I have me early morning flights, coffee and me on
a plane. It's not like I need to get off
to I don't like to. I like to have my
make coffee situation in the little bathroom. Download download maps
of where you're going on Google Maps, so you don't
need to pay roaming data charges.

Speaker 1 (11:57):
That's interesting.

Speaker 3 (11:58):
So download the maps, don't pay the data roaming Rose
nineteen seventeen, and go dirty up those baggage claim bathrooms.
Today's quote do this every morning about this time. So
put you in the right frame of mind. If you
cannot change the course of a storm, sit quietly and
be the lighthouse.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
Wow does that mean? What does that mean?

Speaker 2 (12:22):
Shine light on a bad situation?

Speaker 1 (12:25):
What does it mean to you? Tania?

Speaker 5 (12:26):
So like if you're in the lighthouse. The lighthouse is
the one thing in a storm that just stands still.
So it's like, don't let it. Even though you can't control.

Speaker 4 (12:35):
You can't control. You can't control a storm, but you
can control.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
Yourself and you can guide others. As the lighthouse, you
can help guide others.

Speaker 3 (12:42):
So you are shining your light on others to get
through the storm.

Speaker 1 (12:49):
You know, I should really pick a quote. I understand.

Speaker 5 (12:50):
No, this is a right, especially control freaks such as myself.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
Can we put a very fast pin and that come back.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
To that next on air with Ryan Seacrest.

Speaker 3 (13:04):
Looking forward to Lupita Neogo. She's coming up after seven o'clock.
Here at a few minutes, big movie star A Quiet Place.
We're excited for this. This is like the beginning to
the other movies, the prequel, the prequel. It's called A
Quiet Place. Day one also got a second date update
on the way. And this is breaking news this morning.
I'm just saying about this is and he's got details.

(13:25):
Justin Timberlake has been arrested, Yes he has.

Speaker 6 (13:27):
He's been arrested for driving a while intoxicated in the Hamptons.
According to ABC News, the arrest occurred last night in
sag Harbor, New York. Children and teens once again have
access to free lunch at over ninety LA City parks
this summer. Anyone up to eighteen years old will be
provided with food on a first come, first serve basis

(13:48):
during lunch hours Monday through Friday.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
The US State Department.

Speaker 6 (13:52):
Announced it's bringing back a trial service to renew your
passport online, saying it we'll open the system for all
online renewals soon. And the Dot unveiled their second City
Connect uniforms. The cobalt and electric blue uniforms will debut
on Saturday against the Angels on.

Speaker 1 (14:10):
Air with Ryan Seacrest.

Speaker 3 (14:15):
I have to say, I'm very excited to bring in
Lupita Nango on the air with us. One of my
favorite people to watch work and see in anything that
she chooses. I think she's actually here. Lapita, are you on?

Speaker 1 (14:29):
I am I'm so excited to talk to you. How
are you?

Speaker 10 (14:33):
I'm wow, it's good to talk to you.

Speaker 3 (14:37):
You would never remember the first time you met, but
it was on a red carpet for one of the
award shows and you were just so well.

Speaker 10 (14:43):
I remember you.

Speaker 1 (14:46):
Lapita and Yonga knows who I am.

Speaker 2 (14:48):
Got it noted, I will remember this day for you forever.

Speaker 3 (14:52):
Of course, it's is always such a pleasure. So all right,
we got to get into this. We're very excited about
us this this movie. We've seen the other two. This
is a quiet place Day one, which is the beginning, right,
So it goes back to obviously day one. And did
you watch the other two like we did and just

(15:12):
fall in love with the franchise?

Speaker 7 (15:14):
You know?

Speaker 10 (15:14):
I did, and I was really impressed with the imagination
that went into creating this world. I was like, oh
my god, I guess it's one of those ideas where
you were just like, I can't believe this hadn't happened before,
and it's so good.

Speaker 3 (15:28):
So in this movie, I don't want to get anything
away alien invasion and cats. That doesn't give it away.
But I was hearing that you actually were not a
cat person before this.

Speaker 10 (15:41):
Well now I am because of this movie. But I
was definitely very afraid of cats before I made this film,
and I had to face my fear because I really
wanted to play.

Speaker 3 (15:50):
Some Wait, wait, what do you have to How do
you face your fear of cats? What's the process?

Speaker 7 (15:56):
Well, I call it cat therapy.

Speaker 10 (15:58):
They basically hired someone who raises cats and trains cats
who come over to my house with a bunch of cats,
and then I just.

Speaker 7 (16:09):
Spent time with them.

Speaker 10 (16:10):
It started off with me just watching them move in
the space from the other side of the room. And
then when I once I'd interrogated her about all the
different cat behavior, I got a little bit more comfortable
and I touched a cat with one finger, and then two,
and then before you knew it, I.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
Was like getting one.

Speaker 10 (16:29):
Wow, it was a deliberate process.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
Did you end up taking one home adopting one? Well?

Speaker 10 (16:37):
Actually yeah, after making the film, I came back to
La and I got myself a cat.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
Look at that.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
Cat therapy. It does work.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
So all right, this is the Pida Neango A Quiet
Place do once in theaters a week actually from Fridays
June twenty eighth. But in the franchise, if you haven't
seen aliens are attracted to sound, but you have to
stay quiet is what is? It's not a normal set
then right, well.

Speaker 7 (17:05):
No it's not.

Speaker 10 (17:06):
But you know the truth about making a quiet place.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
That it is not very quiet.

Speaker 11 (17:12):
So it's actually quite difficult to like.

Speaker 10 (17:14):
Try and lock out the sounds that the crew have
to make in order to make this film so and
it was entertaining.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
I never thought of it that way.

Speaker 6 (17:24):
So they're like cut the camera two, camera three here,
and then you're just like hearing all this sound but
you're trying to be intense in the scene.

Speaker 10 (17:31):
Yes, exactly, And then you have to kind of like
figure out what sounds are actually taking place in the scene,
because of course, the sounds that are in the scene
are sounds that are threatening your life, and the sounds
of the cameras are making are things you need more.
So it's quite the mind boggle.

Speaker 3 (17:48):
I'm just looking back at let's just take the last
decade or so, which seems to have been just NonStop
great choices for you. Twelve years a slave that was
a while ago, just incredible work there. You wonder first, Oscar,
you're doing a movie like this, now, are there things
that you think about that you haven't done yet that

(18:11):
you visualize doing soon?

Speaker 10 (18:14):
Or yes, I haven't done a ton of comedy and
I would really like to do that.

Speaker 1 (18:21):
You know, where's my room beautiful? Yes? Yes?

Speaker 3 (18:26):
Who would be your like? Who do you think is
the funniest actor? Out there like wou'd be a good
co star.

Speaker 10 (18:33):
Donald Glover.

Speaker 2 (18:36):
Yes, such a good way.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
That's a great one.

Speaker 3 (18:39):
All right, well, listen to all producers and directors and writers.
This is the beginning of the next big comedy right here.
Uh Lupita Quiet Place Day one. It's in theaters a
week from Friday. Thank you so much for taking time
to speak with us. I'm a massive fan and will
continue to be.

Speaker 7 (18:56):
Oh thanks for having me.

Speaker 1 (18:58):
All right, bye bye bank just so too right? Yeah, yes,
it does just so cool.

Speaker 2 (19:03):
And I love that she was born in Mexico City.

Speaker 1 (19:06):
I want to talk about the food.

Speaker 4 (19:07):
All a sudden, she's gone.

Speaker 3 (19:10):
It's time for a second date update. Generally these work out.
These generally do like I think we help. We generally
help as as they're a bust. But let's see how
this goes. I'm a bit confused. Have you ever met
anybody on the beach when you were single?

Speaker 2 (19:26):
I have to think back.

Speaker 3 (19:28):
I don't think I have. But it is kind of
cool because you're I mean, you can.

Speaker 1 (19:33):
Check them out.

Speaker 3 (19:34):
You can check out the whole package. Ye Jeremy the
Beach Goer and Thousand Oaks. This morning for a second
date update, Jeremy.

Speaker 1 (19:42):
How are you?

Speaker 7 (19:45):
I'm all right, how are you good?

Speaker 3 (19:47):
Actually right, thank you for asking. Okay, I'm trying to
understand that we're gonna put her on the line. So
you you tell me how you met this woman a
year ago at the beach that's now bowing you on.

Speaker 7 (20:04):
Well, you know, I was at the beach with friends,
and she ended up being at the beach with friends,
and it turns out that I knew one of her
her good friends, like she was a friend of mine.
Her name was Tricia, and so we hung out all
day and I was like, wow, I really this girl,

(20:25):
Cindy is really cute. She's you know, just my type.
I just I want to get to know her. And
so I didn't do anything at the beach, but afterwards
I got in touch with Tricia and I was like,
can you please get me her number? And Trisha's like
kind of holding me off, being like, oh, I have
to ask her, all right, Fine, So she goes and

(20:45):
asks her, and I just to get a bunch of
excuses like, oh no, she's she's really busy, she doesn't
want to date, she's dating somebody else, and it's just like,
you know, finally, like three weeks ago, I asked again
and she finally gave me her number. Was like, wow, okay,
So we scheduled a little walk. She was really really fun.

(21:07):
We even went out back to my place and we
made out a little bit and I was like, oh damn. Okay.
So we made another date. And the day of the date,
we hadn't set a time, and I was like, oh,
can I pick up at six? And she's like no,
I'm sorry, I can't.

Speaker 1 (21:22):
Yeah, me, Sorry. I didn't understand.

Speaker 3 (21:24):
Wait this a year ago, you met this one and
she's now you're asking on a second. I understand the timeline.

Speaker 7 (21:30):
Okay. So last year I met her right.

Speaker 1 (21:33):
And I just kept and when did you go out?

Speaker 7 (21:35):
Our friend? We went out like two weeks ago.

Speaker 3 (21:38):
Wow, okay, you met her loud, you finally got to
go out. Everything went fine, you kissed her. Now what
has happened since you kissed?

Speaker 7 (21:46):
So since we kissed, we planned another date and on
the day of that date that we were supposed to
go out, she just ditched me. She was like, no,
m hm.

Speaker 3 (21:58):
Okay, And you want us to call her and find
out why her name is Cindy and.

Speaker 1 (22:03):
We're happy to do it.

Speaker 3 (22:05):
It didn't sound like I mean, based on what you
just told me, it didn't sound like she was so
interested in pursuing anything or doing anything at all. So
I'm not so surprised that she went out and decided
not to go out again.

Speaker 2 (22:16):
But she said that. He said that they made out.

Speaker 1 (22:18):
And she went back, but she just courtesy make out.

Speaker 2 (22:21):
Oh my god, that's.

Speaker 7 (22:25):
All right.

Speaker 3 (22:25):
Hold on, Jimmy, your name is Cindy. We're gonna get
her on the phone here and you can find out. Uh, okay,
did you follow?

Speaker 1 (22:31):
You got that?

Speaker 3 (22:31):
I mean basically, he took took a long time to
get her to go out. She went out, and then
they made out. But yeah, Tony, I mean you've courtesy
kissed people rather yes, courtesy kissed totally.

Speaker 4 (22:40):
And it actually makes me upset that I.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
Did say no.

Speaker 4 (22:43):
I know, but it's just so easy.

Speaker 1 (22:45):
You don't want no.

Speaker 6 (22:47):
I literally, like I think I put my face in
someone or my hand in someone's face, like not happening.

Speaker 3 (22:52):
I'm afraid to make like the first move in a
new situation for fear of rejection. So I just just
like kissed the cheek and you keep kissing the cheek.

Speaker 1 (23:01):
Of that fact.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
Yeah, keep kissing.

Speaker 1 (23:06):
I am, I am. I'm not a great dater.

Speaker 4 (23:09):
I'm not so shocking.

Speaker 2 (23:12):
I would love to be a fly on the wall
on the first day for you.

Speaker 3 (23:14):
You're not coming to any dates in me, I could not.

Speaker 1 (23:18):
Jeremy, let's get back to Jeremy and Cindy. Here.

Speaker 3 (23:21):
It's a long story, but a year ago friend number
Cindy is her name. Finally they go out. Recently they
went Did you said you went on a walking date.

Speaker 7 (23:30):
Yeah, we took a walk together.

Speaker 1 (23:33):
Did you have a destination we're walking of her like.

Speaker 7 (23:40):
It was just a stroll, like by the beach, like
on boardwalk?

Speaker 1 (23:43):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (23:43):
So then after you took it to your apartment or
your your home, yes, was there music playing?

Speaker 7 (23:51):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (23:53):
And you kissed her and then she like everything went fine, right, Yeah,
and now she won't go out and now she won't
respond to any of your text.

Speaker 7 (24:03):
She will not respond to any of my texts.

Speaker 3 (24:05):
Okay, So Jeremy, we have her. She's agreed to come on.
You just need to be very quiet so we can
find out what happened.

Speaker 1 (24:11):
Okay, here we go.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
You'll yeah, yeah, me exactly, Thank you, guys. Sindy, Hi, Cindy, Hey,
it's Ryan Seacrest. Thank you for agreeing to come on
with us. You're on the radio. I have Sistany and
Tanya with me. How are you good? How are you
We're doing great?

Speaker 1 (24:27):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (24:28):
So pardon our intrusion, but we're calling you about a
guy named Jeremy that he recently went out with. Does
that sound familiar? Oh yeah, tell me about Jeremy.

Speaker 1 (24:41):
Do you like him?

Speaker 11 (24:43):
He was great?

Speaker 3 (24:46):
So you went out with Jeremy and he was great,
and are you interested in him? What you like about him?
I mean, tell me, like I'm your girlfriend, Like, tell
me about it, like we've been best friends, and I
want to know all.

Speaker 1 (24:56):
About this guy.

Speaker 11 (24:58):
I mean, honestly, I had a great time with him,
and you know, we had some intimate exchange, but I
honestly think he's a little too hot for me.

Speaker 6 (25:11):
Too hot, Like this is interesting, Like.

Speaker 1 (25:17):
I thought that the.

Speaker 6 (25:18):
Makeout session was too steamy and like too advanced.

Speaker 11 (25:23):
No, he's just like a little intimidatingly hot, you know.

Speaker 3 (25:28):
And so that's okay. I'm just gonna we know a
little bit about this obviously, but and that's why you
you have not responded to him, right, He's trying to
go out with your gun.

Speaker 1 (25:37):
And you blow him off.

Speaker 3 (25:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 11 (25:40):
Also, I mean it's kind of weird that when he
first tried to ask me out it was through his
friend and now it's through you, so it's like not
a lot of direct contact.

Speaker 3 (25:50):
I mean, I'm just shocked because if, like any of
us were to be with someone hot and out of
our league, we kind of be psyched.

Speaker 5 (25:56):
Yeah, but that means like maybe if he's so hot
and he's like putting in minimal effort because he never
had to put in so much effort, and that's not.

Speaker 11 (26:05):
Date howt guy's cheat. They're used to getting a lot
of attention, so they're high maintenance. They break hearts, they're.

Speaker 1 (26:14):
So happy to not be hot. This makes the unhotness
so thrilling right now.

Speaker 11 (26:23):
They usually don't have a personality, you know, like I
used to go for like the medium ugly.

Speaker 7 (26:27):
Guy with.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
Ugly because you don't have to worry as much. Was
he a good kisser?

Speaker 11 (26:37):
Like, uh, actually yeah, And he's a.

Speaker 12 (26:44):
Good kisser because he's so hot that you feel a
certain way when you're with him, Cindy, like you're not
as hot as him, or like he's out of insecure.

Speaker 11 (26:59):
I mean like, I'm like a seven on my best
day and he's like a ten. You know, So I
just don't want people to like think like how does
she get him?

Speaker 2 (27:08):
You know, don't worry about other people. If he's hot,
the kiss was good and you're feeling him, Like, what's
the problem here?

Speaker 3 (27:15):
Jeremy's on the phone listening to all of this right now,
send you. I have to tell you, Jeremy, how is
your head?

Speaker 1 (27:21):
Is your head blown up?

Speaker 3 (27:22):
Now?

Speaker 1 (27:22):
Jeremy? Is your ego hying right now? Chilling? You're too
hot for her to respond to?

Speaker 7 (27:29):
Thanks?

Speaker 1 (27:30):
I guess yeah, yeah, yeah, I would say thanks.

Speaker 7 (27:33):
Yeah, I just don't. I'm just still confused. Like you
had fun, right, Cindy, Like I made you laugh? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (27:48):
What she's Jeremy? Can I just interpret this? By the way,
By the way, how do you kiss?

Speaker 1 (27:52):
Jarman? Can you tell me about how you kiss?

Speaker 7 (27:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (27:54):
Yeah, you want to know he.

Speaker 1 (27:56):
Said he's good. Can you tell me how you kiss?
Your style?

Speaker 3 (28:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (28:01):
I go with the moment, so you know, I meet
the person where they're at, and I are you. You know,
it's a dance. I'm slow. I change it out, you know.

Speaker 3 (28:12):
Yeah, you put your hand on her cheek. I'm sorry,
don't apologize. Do you put her Do you put your
hand on her cheek?

Speaker 7 (28:24):
Not all the time, but that's a move, sure right behind?

Speaker 4 (28:28):
What are you saying? He doesn't use his hands?

Speaker 3 (28:31):
Jimmy, are you available later today to grab a coffee?

Speaker 1 (28:35):
I'd like to see you. I know, I'm fascinated by
this guy. He's too hot.

Speaker 2 (28:43):
We'll have to look you up.

Speaker 3 (28:45):
So here's what she's Here's what she's saying. She doesn't
trust you. She thinks that the I mean, her explanation
was that if you are a certain aesthetic, then you
are more likely to be a player. And she doesn't
want to deal with it. It's not the headspae for it.
So she figured edit, that's it.

Speaker 7 (29:04):
Yeah, I mean generalization fine, but yeah, why would I
pursue you for a year, Cindy? That was weird.

Speaker 2 (29:16):
Uh have you ever cheated on anybody? Jeremy?

Speaker 7 (29:20):
Yeah, but that was like ten years ago.

Speaker 3 (29:24):
All right, Jemmy, listen to Cindy. Cindy, do you want
to say anything to him before we let him go?

Speaker 7 (29:32):
I mean, I don't know.

Speaker 11 (29:34):
I guess like text me and I can think about it.

Speaker 7 (29:38):
Okay, all right, all right, Well listen. I'm I'm not
a player, I'm not high maintenance, and I really want
to hang out with you again.

Speaker 1 (29:47):
I like it. Please get us some photos of you, guys.
I want to see this thing in action, all right.

Speaker 3 (29:56):
And good luck, Cindy, thanks for coming on with this honestly,
and hear me, go for it.

Speaker 1 (30:02):
Good luck? All right, by go for it. It's just
so weird one date.

Speaker 3 (30:10):
You're not gonna at least have a little fun, right,
Plus this guy I have a mental picture on. He's
got dark hair, he's got a great nice to get
thick lips, he's got nice light eyes.

Speaker 1 (30:20):
I think he wears a V neck T shirt.

Speaker 2 (30:22):
Yeah, he's big feet too.

Speaker 1 (30:23):
Oh I like him.

Speaker 3 (30:25):
On on Air with Ryan Seacrest, Tuesday morning, June eighteenth,
Thanks for being here. If the gloom is still there
and you see it, it's gonna burn off nice this afternoon.
Seventies and upper eighties inland. That heat is coming next week.
So Tany's got a trending report here about Sabrina Carpenter.

Speaker 5 (30:49):
Yes, so back in April, I don't know if you
remember a Sabriena Carpenter start in a campaign for skims.
So skims is the shapewear brand founded by Kim Kardashian,
and there was a lot of heat around it at
the time. I don't know if you remember, but I
was even a little bit like, this seems weird because
if you don't know, Taylor and Kim have had a

(31:10):
public feud for many, many years now. So even on
the Tortured Poets Department, there's a song called thank You
Amy with the letters k I am capitalized. So this
is still very much a thing, and Sabrina is setting
the record straight. She said, as much as people want
to believe you're tuned into every little thing, I'm not

(31:30):
because I'm constantly working in that scenario. I've been very,
very communicative with her about that situation, and I just
love her so much and support her till the end.
But what I was wondering is when she says she
was very communicative, do we think that she got the
call the offer and kind of ran it by Taylor
to make sure she was cool with it, or do

(31:51):
you think when she accepted the offer that she just
give gave Taylor the heads up and was like, this
is a huge opportunity, but I just wanted to let
you know.

Speaker 1 (31:58):
I don't know. I'll tell you why.

Speaker 3 (32:01):
I'm so focused on this ride that got stuck this
morning and the people coming up so sis neeed do
you want to chime in before their their standing?

Speaker 1 (32:08):
But AD just got off this stuck.

Speaker 3 (32:11):
Ride and here they're waiting the eventually, I can't make
them wait much longer they were stuck.

Speaker 2 (32:16):
I'm kind of with right on this one.

Speaker 1 (32:18):
Did you see this thank you for the training report
needed to know?

Speaker 5 (32:20):
Oh my gosh, no, but you see a story about
Ed Sheeran not having a cell phone since twenty fifteen?

Speaker 4 (32:26):
Would you do you understand what?

Speaker 3 (32:29):
These people were stuck upside down on an amusement park
ride for twenty minutes, and you're going to make them
hold another twenty minutes.

Speaker 1 (32:34):
I can't do it.

Speaker 5 (32:35):
First of all, I'm not making them hold. This is
just what we're doing right now at the moment. Let's
be present and in the moment, I am so present
instead of what's coming up. You've been saying that you
want to be more present in the moment, and we're not.

Speaker 1 (32:45):
In this case. I want to talk to this shows how.

Speaker 4 (32:47):
To get it.

Speaker 1 (32:49):
This call what's called the atmost.

Speaker 2 (32:50):
I think she gave her the heads up just to
put a pin.

Speaker 3 (32:52):
In it atmosphere?

Speaker 1 (32:54):
Is that? What it is?

Speaker 7 (32:55):
This?

Speaker 3 (32:55):
This ride at the Oaks Amusement Park in Portland. Twenty
eight people went up in this thing and I always
think about it when i' going on a ride.

Speaker 1 (33:03):
Is am I gonna be the one to get stuck?

Speaker 3 (33:05):
And sure enough they got stuck for over twenty minutes
upside down.

Speaker 1 (33:09):
It is one of the things that I lose sleepover.

Speaker 2 (33:13):
Air on air with Ryan Seacrest.

Speaker 3 (33:17):
What is your greatest fear to kiss FM? What will
give me one?

Speaker 2 (33:21):
Drowning?

Speaker 1 (33:23):
Really not a good.

Speaker 6 (33:23):
Swimmer, No, I'm a great swimmer, but that would be
my biggest fear is like actually like suffocation water.

Speaker 3 (33:29):
I had a friend of mine, he's not a good swimmer,
and we were far from a boat to see through
the boat to the beach, and he started to panic
and I had to tow him on my I can swim.
I had to pull him on my foot like he
had to grab my foot like a toe to get him.
If you had a panic attack.

Speaker 6 (33:49):
In the yah, yeah, I had to keep calm, cool
and collected and not use all your energy.

Speaker 2 (33:53):
If you were ever like stuck.

Speaker 3 (33:54):
On the ocean, saw it happening, and it was one
of those scary moments.

Speaker 1 (33:58):
What's your biggest fear, Tony.

Speaker 4 (34:01):
Being stuck in a room with a bunch of bees?

Speaker 1 (34:05):
Have you given them some thought? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (34:06):
Well I was thinking, Mike, what would really make me panic?
And it would be being stuck in a room with
like a lot of bees or bears.

Speaker 6 (34:13):
I think that's another bear you could like, if you
are calm, they won't sting you, right, but I would panic.

Speaker 1 (34:19):
But I would panic too, like bears in a room.
I'm not calm. No.

Speaker 3 (34:22):
Anyway, one of my greatest fears is going on a
ride at an amusement park and it getting stuck right off.

Speaker 6 (34:28):
I do think that when I put the like the
seatbelt on, I'm like, yeah, I'm going to be the one.

Speaker 1 (34:32):
Where it doesn't work.

Speaker 2 (34:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (34:34):
So I got Jordan and Daniel on the line right
here out of Portland and this is what happens.

Speaker 1 (34:40):
So you may have seen this all over the news.

Speaker 3 (34:41):
There were like thirty people on a ride called Atmosphere
at the Oaks Amusement Park in Portland. It's a pendulum
kind of ride that eventually goes all the way upside down. Well,
they go up Jordan's eighteen Daniel seventeen. They're together at
the amusement park. They were stuck on this ride. The
ride got stuck for twenty while. They were just hanging
upside down. Jordan Daniel, Uh, what was happening in the

(35:07):
states of upside down with the two of you?

Speaker 1 (35:10):
Were you calm? Were you panicked? Did it feel like forever?

Speaker 13 (35:14):
I would say I was very panicked. I mean I
was freaking out up there definitely. When you first get
caught up there, you know, like you're just thinking, like,
are we gonna come back down? What's going on with
the ride right now? But when I was up there,
after like five minutes had passed or something, you're to
start freaking out, like panicking. You don't really know if
you're gonna live or die, like because like, how are
they gonna get this machine?

Speaker 7 (35:34):
Then now it's like the powers out, everything lock.

Speaker 3 (35:38):
And so your head like bloods rush into your head,
right and you're just looking down at the ground.

Speaker 13 (35:43):
Yeah, and it's just like you're just freaking out, like
you don't know what's gonna We were up there for
like thirty five minutes.

Speaker 1 (35:49):
Actually was everyone else?

Speaker 6 (35:51):
Was everyone else panicking? Where peop were crying. What are
you guys saying prayers?

Speaker 1 (35:55):
Like?

Speaker 2 (35:55):
What was going on up the road? Where were you
able to discuss?

Speaker 13 (35:58):
Some kids threw up all over themselves. People were passing out.
There was people definitely crying and complaining. I had met
a prayer for around my group.

Speaker 7 (36:06):
That was on it because like you have a few people.

Speaker 13 (36:09):
Around you, and I asked them all to hold hands
and like lead a prayer with me.

Speaker 3 (36:12):
Oh my gosh, how the presence? And could you communicate
with people on the ground? How did they rescue you?

Speaker 14 (36:22):
Yeah, So when we were like hanging upside down, we
could hear people like shouting up to us, being like
you're gonna be okay, help us on the way. Remember
to breathe, like take deep breasts. But when you're in
that state, like you can hear them well, I mean okay,
you can't even really hear them very well honestly, But
you're not listening, you know what I mean. You're just
trying to like keep yourself calm and like obviously, yeah,

(36:44):
you're trying to take deep breasts. You're trying off the panic.
You're trying to stay rational and realize like, okay, things
are gonna be okay, Like we're gonna get down, but
like you're so intained physically from the restraint of the harness.
All your weight is in your shoulders and your chest,
and like taking like any breath is a difficult much
less like slowing down and taking a deep breath, like
it's almost impossible.

Speaker 3 (37:04):
Wow, Jordan, did you think about proposing? I mean, it's like,
was there a moment there he thought about this a
bond for life?

Speaker 1 (37:10):
Will you marry me?

Speaker 2 (37:11):
Eighteen and seventeen?

Speaker 1 (37:13):
This is a moment I don't know.

Speaker 14 (37:17):
Definitely told each other how much you care about each other,
but I don't know if proposing was on the line.

Speaker 3 (37:24):
Yeah, I made a few beats, all right, So will
you ride more rides at amusement parks or is that
so scarring?

Speaker 1 (37:30):
Now?

Speaker 13 (37:31):
Yes, no, I will.

Speaker 7 (37:35):
I'll go to ride them.

Speaker 13 (37:36):
I know he won't, but I think, I mean I've passed,
But yeah, I'll go ride the ride again for me.

Speaker 3 (37:45):
I mean, you see this the picture that ride there
is it's a huge, huge bug pole basically right, that
goes up really high and everybody's in a circle and
then they're all of their weight is being forced into
the headhole harness upside down, which I think would break
or something exactly.

Speaker 4 (38:02):
Were you thinking that?

Speaker 2 (38:03):
Were you thinking that the harness was gonna snap?

Speaker 14 (38:06):
Oh yeah, I definitely was. That was my biggest here
for sure, because the whole ride is shut down. You
have no idea, like what's preventing this from last? And
you know what I mean, right actually speaking of like
the harness is once we were back down, they couldn't
guess them unlatt which is relieving, I.

Speaker 11 (38:21):
Guess, but like not really to get your money back.

Speaker 14 (38:25):
Oh yeah, if we definitely got refunded.

Speaker 3 (38:28):
All right, Well, thank you for thank you for coming
on you too. It was a frightening thing to see
almost thirty people thirty five minutes stuck upside down at
this amusement park in Portland.

Speaker 1 (38:39):
Take good care, okay, thanks for calling in to us.

Speaker 2 (38:41):
Do hug your family.

Speaker 7 (38:42):
Yeah, thank you for sure, Thank you.

Speaker 3 (38:45):
We're gonna hug each other right here actually after this bye, guys.

Speaker 5 (38:49):
But like, think about it when you're doing like if
you're in yoga and you're doing a headstand or something
and you're when all the blood's rush into your head.
They were like that for twenty minutes.

Speaker 3 (39:00):
It's not for me, No, curious to hear what you think.
These are some of the viral stories that have just
been everywhere in the last few days. You can reach
out to us here eight hundred and five two one
or two seven the talkback mic. You can use that
inside the iHeartRadio app. Ruby has got the dividing Internet stories.

Speaker 1 (39:19):
So the first one Ruby is which?

Speaker 15 (39:21):
Uh so the first one is time in a pool
just as good as a bathtub.

Speaker 1 (39:25):
Meaning like, can you get clean in a pool versus
a bathtub?

Speaker 10 (39:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 15 (39:28):
It replaces it essentially? Does that replace bathtime?

Speaker 1 (39:32):
No? No, did you people actually think that it does?

Speaker 7 (39:34):
Mean?

Speaker 3 (39:34):
I have the off I do like summertime some as
I'll jump in the pool before dinner and I'll sit
at dinner in my bathing suit and wet, just refresh myself.

Speaker 14 (39:42):
Uh huh.

Speaker 3 (39:43):
But it doesn't clean like, I don't think it gets
you unstinky.

Speaker 5 (39:47):
But I'd argue that as a kid, I would be like,
but I was in the pool today.

Speaker 1 (39:50):
No, I think some parents might just not want to
do bad time ago. Yeah, okay, that's whatever.

Speaker 8 (39:55):
That's what this Colorado mom posted on Instagram.

Speaker 15 (39:58):
She said she lets kids pull time count as bath time,
and she says getting her kids and the bath is
a real challenge and this is just easier.

Speaker 3 (40:07):
So I need any mom, any mom's listening right now,
listen to this. Okay, this is a Venmo request to
another mom from a mom.

Speaker 15 (40:16):
Go ahead, Ruby, Yeah, so mom posted on TikTok She
said she had a friend's kids over for a playdate
and then sent the other mom a Venmo request for
expenses incurred during the playdate. So, for example, nineteen dollars
for dinner at Olive Garden, a dollar for a bag
of chips, and fifty cents per toilet flush?

Speaker 1 (40:35):
What yes?

Speaker 8 (40:36):
And four dollars and fifty cents to watch Netflix?

Speaker 7 (40:39):
All right?

Speaker 1 (40:39):
Sis? You have?

Speaker 6 (40:41):
You have played that a thing like why would I
would never want my kid to be friends with that
kid and then associate with that mom.

Speaker 2 (40:49):
Ever, again, if I got Venmo for this.

Speaker 3 (40:52):
I mean split it. How do you charge for a
toilet flush?

Speaker 5 (40:55):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (40:55):
They just make up the price?

Speaker 4 (40:57):
That is so Netflix?

Speaker 2 (40:59):
Yeah, doesn't she already have a subscription?

Speaker 1 (41:01):
Well?

Speaker 3 (41:02):
Didn't Some moms way in and say that split in
the food or charging for the food the Olive Garden
was okay?

Speaker 10 (41:06):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (41:07):
So most most say that.

Speaker 15 (41:08):
You know, charging for some of the food is okay,
but the toilet flush and Netflix is just way too far.

Speaker 3 (41:14):
I should do this with some of my friends though,
just to see what happened, just to see how they react,
and you know, drink a lot of water and really
use that toilet.

Speaker 1 (41:23):
Charge it all.

Speaker 2 (41:24):
It's gonna three dollars and fifty cents for that toilet flow.

Speaker 3 (41:27):
And the time spent in there. We're charging by the minute,
all right. So one more These are the viral stories
on the internet. This is about not returning your shopping
carts and I have a point of view on this one.

Speaker 1 (41:37):
Go ahead, yes, correct.

Speaker 15 (41:38):
So a California mom posted on TikTok that she never
returns shopping carts to the corral. She says it's way
too risky to leave her kids in the car even
for a minute to return the carts. So she's like sorry,
and most say it is common courtesy to return your car,
and there's you know, there's a way to do it,
even if you have kids.

Speaker 6 (41:59):
Yes, you keep the kids in the cart while you're
unloading the groceries, and then you push it back, take
your child out, and then you go to your car.

Speaker 1 (42:05):
Yeah, and here's the thing.

Speaker 3 (42:06):
You got to return at least push it somewhere where
it's not going to roll in into somebody else's.

Speaker 1 (42:12):
If you if you.

Speaker 3 (42:13):
Are the person that doesn't put your carts back, you
will be the person that the cart hits one day
in the future. Like the karma is gonna ding your door.

Speaker 2 (42:22):
Absolutely.

Speaker 3 (42:23):
And I also feel like someone's every time I'm like
thinking about cheating something like that, I feel like I'm
being watched me too, Like I feel like someone's watching
me and.

Speaker 1 (42:31):
I just just put it back. Are you guys feeling
good about the summer vibes? Like I feel es?

Speaker 2 (42:37):
Yes, I do.

Speaker 1 (42:38):
We're in it.

Speaker 3 (42:39):
We're in summer. I've been wearing a lot of open
toed shoes and Birkenstocks.

Speaker 4 (42:43):
Oh excuse get it?

Speaker 1 (42:45):
What do you what do you think? I are questioned
for the cool people? Hey, back room? Hmmm, oh well,
just a question for the cool people.

Speaker 2 (42:54):
Okay, So what are we?

Speaker 1 (42:56):
What are we? Excuse me?

Speaker 3 (42:58):
Their generation something else? I don't know if there's z's
or what?

Speaker 4 (43:04):
Are you the same as us in here?

Speaker 1 (43:08):
Marianna is generation?

Speaker 15 (43:09):
What she's like on the cusp? I think of gen
zz That's.

Speaker 3 (43:16):
Okay, call it, kurt Is, Is it cool? First of all,
do you like Birkenstocks?

Speaker 4 (43:23):
I used to, but not recently.

Speaker 7 (43:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (43:25):
Yeah, I gotta say they've fallen off a little bit.

Speaker 3 (43:28):
What about if I wear socks with my birkenstocks? Is
that something?

Speaker 5 (43:32):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (43:32):
I'm a big socks with sandals girly?

Speaker 1 (43:34):
Okay? Cool?

Speaker 3 (43:35):
Yeah, all right, all the cool kids are doing bocks
and socks.

Speaker 1 (43:40):
That's my look for summer.

Speaker 3 (43:42):
You'll recognize me walking down the street out in the wild.

Speaker 5 (43:45):
All right.

Speaker 3 (43:46):
Listen, the iHeart Radio app is a great way to
listen to the show each day, and you can take
it wherever you want to go.

Speaker 7 (43:52):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (43:52):
You can send us a message there too. So this
is a cool feature inside the iHeartRadio app. And I'm
gonna place some of these back. They're kind of all
over the place, right. This one is from Taylor listening
in the six two six once an update from Siceny
and Tanya.

Speaker 1 (44:05):
Go and play that.

Speaker 7 (44:05):
One, hi, guys.

Speaker 14 (44:06):
So I don't know why, but it's just been killing
me for some reason. Like I literally have to know
if Tanya and Sisney made it to their scheduled lunch.

Speaker 13 (44:18):
And like what they did and how it went.

Speaker 14 (44:21):
I have been thinking about that every day.

Speaker 13 (44:23):
I'm wondering if they went or not and how it was.

Speaker 14 (44:27):
Yeah, if you could just give us an update about that,
that'd be great.

Speaker 3 (44:31):
I can't say you're alone with that, Taylor. A lot
of us have been wondering about this lunch date that
was set.

Speaker 2 (44:37):
It was set about a month and a half ago.

Speaker 1 (44:39):
And I'll tell you a love what you do.

Speaker 6 (44:41):
And it is today a day.

Speaker 3 (44:46):
You said a lunch date in someone's very busy calendar
a month ago, and today is a day today.

Speaker 1 (44:54):
Where are you going TBD?

Speaker 9 (44:57):
Or what?

Speaker 1 (44:57):
Can I make some suggestions?

Speaker 6 (44:58):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (44:59):
Sure, outside, so it's gonna be so nice.

Speaker 3 (45:02):
Well, every place has an outside area. I'm just saying, Uh,
it's International Sushi Day. You kind of sushi? I love sushi.

Speaker 6 (45:10):
I was really pushing for sushi. Tanya's not feeling sushi today.

Speaker 4 (45:13):
Why because the sushi place she recommended was indoors.

Speaker 3 (45:17):
Okay, well, hey, Tay, let's see how much fun lunchs're
gonna be.

Speaker 1 (45:23):
With the two of them. Leave it to you guys
to figure it out.

Speaker 2 (45:26):
We will figure it out, all right.

Speaker 3 (45:28):
So we debated the other day Ways or Google Maps
or Apple Maps, like which one do you use I
can safely say that since I've been working at Sony
the Sony Lot taping Wheel of Fortune, I go a
different way every day and I actually would not know
how to get there if it weren't for my Ways.
And I think some of the staff in the back
room has used Ways or Google Maps every day since

(45:50):
they started working here, and they too could not find
this radio station if they didn't have.

Speaker 6 (45:55):
Yeah, I don't think Aboutiana could get to work without
her phone, but.

Speaker 3 (45:58):
I don't think it's taking me the same way ever
to Culver City. That's interesting here is Christine and Anaheim.

Speaker 9 (46:05):
I am a Ways user all the way. It tells
me if there's a cop, a speed check, a hazard
in the road, If I'm in traffic, it tells me
how long approximately I'm going to be in traffic, or
it'll reroute me to the shortest way. Ways all the way.

Speaker 3 (46:24):
So are you one of those people that actually contributes
I don't, I don't tell.

Speaker 1 (46:29):
I don't know who telling people.

Speaker 6 (46:30):
When I first started using Ways, I did, but I
don't use it anymore use Google Map.

Speaker 3 (46:35):
But I'm impressed with how many generous reporters there are
that report stuff.

Speaker 4 (46:40):
Into your car, Robbie will make me report like the
cap is still there. He'll be like, yes, I can't leave.

Speaker 3 (46:45):
So many people actually do it because it's easier to
not do it.

Speaker 6 (46:48):
And also, aren't you driving people like maybe you don't know, yeah,
a passenger in the car.

Speaker 4 (46:54):
Why would you not have them update? Like it's like.

Speaker 1 (46:58):
You're not obligated to do so.

Speaker 3 (47:00):
I'm I'm like commending all the people that keep it
updated because whenever they say there's construction or a slow down, there,
there it is.

Speaker 2 (47:07):
And there's the contribute to potholes.

Speaker 7 (47:10):
All right.

Speaker 3 (47:11):
Nlly is on with us here this talkback feature inside
the iHeart radio app.

Speaker 12 (47:15):
Hey, Ryan, Google maps all the Way ways has way
too many turns.

Speaker 2 (47:19):
Yes, that's my dude, that's your dude.

Speaker 6 (47:22):
Google maps Ways is too It rerounts you so many
times and then you're almost in this random neighborhood.

Speaker 3 (47:27):
You know this is not the It is true. I
have passed so many people's strangers' houses.

Speaker 5 (47:33):
Gets you there faster, it really does.

Speaker 3 (47:35):
Everybody's say like two minutes and you go through so
many little neighborhoods. Yeah, but I know, I know the
person in front of me is thinking all the same
random turns is using the same app because I'm following them.
It's some hacks for us. This is Francis and ranch
Kookamonga who listened to us in the morning.

Speaker 16 (47:52):
Ryan. It's Francis from Rancho Cuckamonga.

Speaker 9 (47:55):
Okay.

Speaker 16 (47:56):
Two things I drink hot water with do teaspoons of
apple cider vinegar a quarter teaspoon each of cinnamon and
honey and ginger. And if you're bloated, that's really good
to drink because it kind of helps to cleanse you.
Second thing, do not ever put the egg in the microwave.

Speaker 9 (48:17):
It will explode.

Speaker 1 (48:19):
What did we talk about?

Speaker 5 (48:20):
That?

Speaker 1 (48:21):
Is that?

Speaker 3 (48:21):
Just did we talk about eggs in the microwave from
the explosion?

Speaker 4 (48:25):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (48:26):
Maybe somebody heated eggs here.

Speaker 3 (48:27):
In the I will say that my so, my mother's
morning routine is she has her hot limon water. My
morning routine is a spoonful of extra virgin olive oil
and then my coffee. I like the apple cider vinegar thing,
but I've just decided that that interrupts my fast right,
so it's another thing. Yeah, I need to just relax.
I just I need to just you know, relax.

Speaker 2 (48:50):
So does coffee interrupt your fast?

Speaker 3 (48:52):
Coffee does not interrupt inner mintent fasting. It is a gift.

Speaker 2 (48:57):
What if I put a little milk in mine?

Speaker 3 (48:59):
Yeah, then it does. It's got to be black. It's
gotta have like no stuff in him? Are those are talkbacks?
Send us anytime, anywhere, anyplace inside the iHeartRadio app. We're
coming back in just a second. We've got Disneyland tickets
and siiciny. What is going on with Apoyo Loco? You
may be going there for lunch right?

Speaker 6 (49:15):
Yeah, this is about that time of the show where
we all start thinking about food and this is perfect
for lunch or on the go dinner tonight. Have you
tried at Boyo Loco's new stuffed casadias Okay, melti cheese,
handcut avocado, fire growth Boyo. They are so good And
here's a way to skip the line. Download the elk
Boil local app and order online. This is the perfect
meal for on the go, no fork required. Check out

(49:37):
their local rewards app or go to a location near you.

Speaker 1 (49:41):
Yeah, it sounds actually really good.

Speaker 3 (49:42):
When you say stuffed kasadilla and melty cheese, I kind
of like perked up a lot of news about this.
There's a new sports bar opening up in Long Beach
and they're saying it's the first women's sports bar or
the sports bar of its kind, right.

Speaker 6 (49:58):
Isn't exactly, And this couple is trying to capitalize on
the fact that I think everyone is just kind of
rallying around women's sports right now. You have the success
of Caitlin Clark in the WNBA, the boom of women's
soccer teams like Angel City, and the growing fan base
of the LA Sparks. And that's just to name a
few here locally. But the bar is going to be

(50:19):
called Watch Me, and it's actually inside an old Mexican
restaurant called Amore off Pch in Long Beach and slate
it to open up in July, just in time for
the Olympics.

Speaker 2 (50:30):
So they're promising ninety five.

Speaker 6 (50:32):
Percent of women's sports being love play at all times.
The other five percent they will throw on a Dodger
game or you know, a hockey game from time to time,
but most of the TVs are going to be women's sports.
And they really are just excited to open this up
for the Olympics and then that'll be open up every
single day and then scaling back to five days a

(50:53):
week after closing ceremony.

Speaker 3 (50:55):
So I want to feel have more locations, you'll see
more of these, And is this where you get to
meet people?

Speaker 7 (51:01):
Like?

Speaker 3 (51:01):
What if you're single, do you go to this bar?
Because I would imagine just many men are in there
watching the sports too, right?

Speaker 2 (51:05):
Why not?

Speaker 1 (51:06):
That could be?

Speaker 3 (51:06):
It could be a fun, cool play school story to
have met someone at a bar.

Speaker 2 (51:12):
I was a guy single, I would go to a
women's sports bar.

Speaker 5 (51:17):
If you're on a dating app and then you're like
meeting on your first date, be like, we should come
here and see what he thinks.

Speaker 3 (51:23):
The thing is for me when I talk about men's
sports women's sports, I can only talk about baseball, basketball,
what else? A tennis No, that's some saying. I can
talk about football. I can only talk about these other
ones for like one minute. Then I'm out.

Speaker 1 (51:42):
I'm lost.

Speaker 3 (51:42):
I don't have any I don't follow you know, I don't.
I don't follow all of the sports. I get excited
about that, but I don't follow them, and I end
up talking to people that know every single player that's
ever played for every team in all the history of
them and have trading.

Speaker 2 (51:54):
Cards that's like Mark, our producer cards not training.

Speaker 1 (52:01):
Anymore. What is your what you call your Milwaukee team?

Speaker 6 (52:06):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (52:07):
The team? I love baseball? You do? Yeah, baseball?

Speaker 3 (52:10):
I mean la baseball is fun because you're just going
to the Dodger games.

Speaker 1 (52:14):
Is such a cool thing to do. But I just
run out.

Speaker 3 (52:17):
I don't know every player's name on all the teams,
even the good ones that are not in our city,
you know.

Speaker 1 (52:21):
And then there are people that know pretend to know.
I'm a poser. I am. I have impost syndrome.

Speaker 6 (52:29):
Football is just different though, for whatever reason, we know
all the other team's records and like you're just like
invested in.

Speaker 1 (52:35):
I played all my life, so I am a football player.

Speaker 4 (52:40):
You played high school?

Speaker 6 (52:42):
Yeah, that was all of my life up until not
everything he did all his life.

Speaker 2 (52:46):
He swam all his life, he all my life.

Speaker 1 (52:48):
I've served for half my life.

Speaker 7 (52:51):
You know.

Speaker 3 (52:52):
Fun fact his wife told me that Mark sleeps in
a full Milwaukee Brewers uniform, like a full uniform.

Speaker 2 (52:58):
Believe it.

Speaker 1 (53:00):
It's nice in case there's firingy thing. He's ready.

Speaker 2 (53:02):
He's ready to go. It's the one thing he'll say
covered I feel like.

Speaker 3 (53:06):
I could do more, but Sisney wants her hour. She's
going to do they hour next?

Speaker 4 (53:11):
Like your shirt today?

Speaker 2 (53:13):
Yeah a lot, it's really kid, it's very a maulfy coast.

Speaker 1 (53:20):
It's just a lightweight button down.

Speaker 4 (53:22):
Yeah, isn't gray and like the gray picture.

Speaker 1 (53:25):
There's tan tan stripes to it.

Speaker 2 (53:27):
Read ready for summer Solstice? Yeah with that?

Speaker 1 (53:30):
Whoa?

Speaker 4 (53:31):
What's the charm at the bottom of your necklace?

Speaker 1 (53:35):
The charm says concento.

Speaker 4 (53:36):
Oh that's right.

Speaker 1 (53:38):
Yeah, yeah, harmony, different notes in harmony.

Speaker 2 (53:42):
That's so life. Is that a gift?

Speaker 1 (53:47):
The necklace?

Speaker 2 (53:48):
Someone give that to you?

Speaker 1 (53:49):
No, No, one gave it to my bottom from myself.

Speaker 2 (53:52):
I'm like, that's so thoughtful for someone to make that friend.

Speaker 4 (53:55):
About the same thing.

Speaker 3 (53:57):
Yeah, it seemed like maybe a girlfriend got it for me,
but no, I bought.

Speaker 4 (54:01):
It for her, your mom or sister.

Speaker 5 (54:05):
No.

Speaker 3 (54:05):
And everyone says, who got that for you? And I
bought it for myself.

Speaker 4 (54:09):
That's okay, nothing wrong with it, nothing wrong.

Speaker 1 (54:12):
Yeah, because you have someone giving you.

Speaker 4 (54:14):
Stuff, I still buy my own things too, okay, good? Yeah,
all right?

Speaker 1 (54:20):
Well, you know I said I could stay longer. I
can't know.

Speaker 3 (54:22):
You gotta go, I gotta go. Uh, what are we
gonna do. Let's see tomorrow. Anybody any thoughts and ideas?
What do we have tomorrow? More Disneyland tickets me all day?

Speaker 1 (54:32):
Your tickets? All right? Back home?

Speaker 3 (54:34):
Feel free to tell us what we missed back there
this morning. Is always something brewing back there.

Speaker 8 (54:40):
Well, Collette has been getting her nails done everything.

Speaker 5 (54:44):
You're in the show, No, I know, after after the show,
because she's thinks Raoul's gonna propose, so she wants to
make sure her nails.

Speaker 3 (54:50):
Are now that I remember that feeling, Ruby, how long
did you get your nails done before David proposed?

Speaker 15 (54:57):
Well, I always get my nails done, so I didn't
really do it to like for the proposal, but I.

Speaker 3 (55:03):
Just yeah, swishful. Okay, So this is speaking to the universe.

Speaker 12 (55:07):
It's getting expensive, man, getting my nails done every every
once in a while, it is freaking expensive.

Speaker 3 (55:12):
Why do you call the bakery getting the.

Speaker 2 (55:15):
Nails were done before he left out of town. I
think he's gonna do it before he left, and that
he did it.

Speaker 3 (55:23):
Because he's gonna surprise you Rouse the baker rouse her boyfriend.

Speaker 1 (55:26):
Who's the baker who has the ring? We know he
has the ring?

Speaker 2 (55:29):
Right, Yeah, well he has the ring.

Speaker 6 (55:30):
He's out of town right now, and I was like,
how bad do you want to scour your apartment?

Speaker 1 (55:35):
Why don't tear your face apartment?

Speaker 2 (55:36):
I started yesterday, I did.

Speaker 8 (55:38):
I started looking.

Speaker 2 (55:39):
You know, the ring is in there.

Speaker 1 (55:41):
Yeah, why do you find to look? Yeah, the guy's
waiting too long. Let her find Mester again there. At
least at least you've.

Speaker 3 (55:51):
Got somebody giving your ring. I bought this necklace from myself.
