Speaker 1 (00:03):
So it's Susan a kill Bill. This is something that's
sort of dividing the internet. It's wet hair at work.
How do you feel about people who come to work
with wet hair? I know, for fact, someone who has
worked with me for twenty plus years loves to come
in wet hair and then blow dry her hair at
the office. And she's done this signature. And I've always

(00:25):
said to her, I don't always say her name. I've
always said to Amy, just get up ten minutes earlier, like,
why do you have to blow dry it hair? Nope,
she comes in and she comes in with wet hair. Now,
some people go to the gym, they shower and their
hair is wet, and then they get there and you know,
it looks like that. But I guess there's a story

(00:47):
circulating on the internet that her boss called her in
to the office and told her that she's being unprofessional
and actually wrote her up in her record, and she
thinks that's wrong. So what do you think about this?
Is it okay to come to work with wet hair?

Speaker 2 (01:04):
The argument is that she's a twenty eight year old
woman that works in a financial firm, So is there
more of a dress code at a financial firm versus say,
a radio station.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
I think let's talk about it, not in terms of specifics,
just in general. Yeah, can you come to work with
wet hair?

Speaker 2 (01:21):
I don't have a problem with it.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
I do it far too often, and I've gone to
like banquets and galas with wet hair, and I always
feel a little like I'm being judged.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
I think you can blame it on the gym because
that sounds good, or how busy you are that you
didn't have a chance to you know whatever, you're rushed,
you have, you were tight on time. So who comes?
So you come with wet hair in the back room?
Does anybody regularly come with wet hair?

Speaker 3 (01:51):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:52):
No, I don't.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
See they professionally get ready for this job.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
But that's like a personal choice for me, Like I
don't necessarily I have to. I feel like at the
style my hair when it dries naturally, it's just a
little frizzy on one side and not the great on
the other side. So I like to make sure that
it's looking.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
If I long hair and I came in wet, I
would just bun it, bunn it, I'd bun it. Yeah,
that's what you usually just it just bun me up,
bun me, bun me up, right, and it's like then
it's a look. It's a slick look.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Yeah, that's that's what I do usually when I'm going,
like out at night with wet hair.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
I don't personally have an issue with it, but people apparently,
you know, some do and some say it's unprofessional. Now,
I think with this, with given this job and the
intimacy of how well we know each other and the hours,
I feel like we could come in with our facial products,

(02:50):
our toothbrushes, our hair dryers, and it's still be okay
as long as they're ready by six, right.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
But I would feel weird if we were having a
guest come on and we're just like wet soaking hair.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
Well, you guys go into full fluff mode when the
guest comes in.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
That's nice.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
You come in like are you come in with Like yeah,
you come in ready. I always forget there's a guest
and I come in with this hat on.
