issue with the music being more surface level, as opposed
to like Taylor or Billy or Olivia that really write

very personal songs. So during an interview with Anderson Cooper,
he mentioned that people have said that they don't have
a sense of who she is after listening to her discography,
and Dua said this, it's something that I just naturally
hold back. Some people are just so ruthless with their
own private life that they decide to put it all
out in a song because they know that it's going
to attract people's attention. For me, it was always important

to make music that people really loved, not because I
was putting someone else on blast. And I feel like
it's just a personality type. Like I think that there
are some people pole who draw inspiration from their personal
lives and love to share that and love to connect
with people on that level, and then other people like
to channel that and maybe distract from it and kind

of go that angle. And I was wondering which type
of person you guys are.

It's a topic that's very personal to me. My background,
my education is in business and accounting, so my professional
environment has always been no corporate esque and I have
curly hair. I've been talking wet hair for work and
anytime really that I have to immediately step out of
the house, it's I'm.

With with wet hair.

My hair is already naturally dry, so I'm not going
to cause for their damage and air dright. I ruined
my hair when I was a teenager, of course, like
for formal events and weddings or a business trip, and
I'll go ahead and use a diffuser. But we all
have unique hair, and I feel like in today's time,
we're embracing natural hair. So I guess my argument is

that why do I have to further damage my hair?
Like I didn't ask to have curly hair, right, so
I am embracing its naturalness. And I passed my curly
hair to my kids, so I'm going to raise them
to you know, embrace their embrace their curly hair. And
you know, when I was eighteen years old, my very
first job was at an office and I'd say, me

and my boss were the only person with curly hair,
and I was I was told that I needed to
do something with my hair. I couldn't wear it curly
being so yeah, I didn't know how to defend myself.
But then the next day I went and I quit
because I just felt really offended that they told me
I couldn't very natural.

Yeah, I mean there was a debate because some people say,
is it unprofessional to come in with your hair wet?

and her plastic turquoise pants. It's this whole thing. But yeah,

who are part of these projects on the long run
and why are they suing now instead of knowing what

Well, she Dua Lipa is very aware of the complaints
about her music not being personal enough, and she has
some thoughts. So critics have said over the years, that yes,
she's had some bops and some anthems, but they take
issue with the music being more surface level, as opposed
to like Taylor or Billy or Olivia that really write

very personal songs. So during an interview with Anderson Cooper,
he mentioned that people have said that they don't have
a sense of who she is after listening to her discography,
and Dua said this, it's something that I just naturally
hold back. Some people are just so ruthless with their
own private life that they decide to put it all
out in a song because they know that it's going
to attract people's attention. For me, it was always important

to make music that people really loved, not because I
was putting someone else on blast. And I feel like
it's just a personality type. Like I think that there
are some people pole who draw inspiration from their personal
lives and love to share that and love to connect
with people on that level, and then other people like
to channel that and maybe distract from it and kind

of go that angle. And I was wondering which type
of person you guys are.

a debacle about wearing wet hair to work.

It's a topic that's very personal to me. My background,
my education is in business and accounting, so my professional
environment has always been no corporate esque and I have
curly hair. I've been talking wet hair for work and
anytime really that I have to immediately step out of
the house, it's I'm.

With with wet hair.
Speaker 13 (48:04):
My hair is already naturally dry, so I'm not going
to cause for their damage and air dright. I ruined
my hair when I was a teenager, of course, like
for formal events and weddings or a business trip, and
I'll go ahead and use a diffuser. But we all
have unique hair, and I feel like in today's time,
we're embracing natural hair. So I guess my argument is
(48:26):
that why do I have to further damage my hair?
Like I didn't ask to have curly hair, right, so
I am embracing its naturalness. And I passed my curly
hair to my kids, so I'm going to raise them
to you know, embrace their embrace their curly hair. And
you know, when I was eighteen years old, my very
first job was at an office and I'd say, me

and my boss were the only person with curly hair,
and I was I was told that I needed to
do something with my hair. I couldn't wear it curly
being so yeah, I didn't know how to defend myself.
But then the next day I went and I quit
because I just felt really offended that they told me
I couldn't very natural.

Yeah, I mean there was a debate because some people say,
is it unprofessional to come in with your hair wet?
Some people say, we'll get up a little earlier to

does it every day, and she brings her blow dryer
and her plastic turquoise pants. It's this whole thing. But yeah,

I understand why some people might say, well, wait a minute,
