Wow, I feel like I just saw you guys, and
here we are again. It was nice. I already a
music festival over the weekend. Always a good time. There's
always something unexpected, there's always a surprise. There's always somebody
that has never obviously been before that we get to meet,

(00:31):
that we bring back stage. Had a winner from actually
Wheel of Fortune, one of the contestants on Wheel of Fortune,
had her come back, gave her a I already music
festival backstage passes on Wheel one night, So that was
kind of fun. It's officially fall and it is really
hot highs in the eighties and nineties. So I just
want to run down what we're looking at today and

(00:53):
how are you guys? Brother? I should check in a
little dragging my feet on a Monday by being honest.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
You know what I meant to tell you the other day?

Speaker 3 (01:03):
How could you forget to tell something? We're here every
day for.

Speaker 5 (01:06):
I know, I know, I know, miss at night and
then I forgot to tell you the next morning. But
the girl from will Fortune who had the million dollars
and she didn't get it right.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
I love Oh my gosh, I did. I was dying
and it was kind of I know she was so close.
She would have gotten a million dollars. Yeah, she had
a million dollar bonus car. She just missed a puzzle,
but she would have won a million dollars. Can you imagine?

Speaker 5 (01:35):
No, I don't know how you go home after that, Like,
I feel so bad if.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
I were you Ryan, don't wow, I don't know what
I would do.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
I'd be like, I know, do you guys have like
therapist on site to like talk to the contest.

Uh?

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Anyway, thanks for watching? Yeah it was good Or did
you just see that on social media?

Speaker 7 (01:57):
No?

Speaker 4 (01:57):
I saw, I've been watching.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Thank you. Uh. Forty one percent of us have hit
peak stress, say more stress than any other point in
twenty twenty four, right now, this time of years, because
you know, summer's over fall, like a lot falls into
fall and it is fault today. Is officially it physical health, family,
mental health? All big stresses, the news, a big stressor work,

(02:23):
a big stressor actually relationship is at the least stress
or stressors. That's nice? Is it nice saying that we
have too many stresses?

Speaker 1 (02:31):
No?

Speaker 2 (02:31):
That means that, like your relationship is solid and that's
not the part that stresses you out.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
It's all the other noise, or.

Speaker 5 (02:37):
Like you're not giving your relationship the time it deserves
because you're stressed about everything else.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Well, we're here to unstress. We'd like to not add stress.
So this may or may go. I don't know which
direction this goes for. You could add, could take away.
But your horoscope, how is your Monday September twenty third
going to shape up? Let's do it?

Speaker 5 (02:53):
Aries, spend some time on Pinterest to get the creative
juices flowing. Taurus, think outside the box today and I
hearts get broken, protect.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Yours cancer, clean out your closet today.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
Leo, grass is greener where you water it.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Virgo, ask that question you've been dying to ask.

Speaker 5 (03:10):
Libra, go outside your comfort zone today, Scorpio.

Speaker 3 (03:13):

Speaker 3 (03:18):
Capricorn, lean into your friendships.

Speaker 5 (03:21):
Aquarius, open your eyes to all possibilities.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
And Pisces, dream bigger than you ever have before. Okay,
so how's that going to fit into your puzzle today?
I want to get to something here because It's funny.
I was watching the news and they did. I don't
know it was a commercial or a news segment. I
was barely paying attention, but someone was on saying, do
you have your preparedness kit for the earthquake that is coming?

Speaker 8 (03:45):
You know?

Speaker 3 (03:46):
Do you have the food in the bag and all
this stuff ready for an earthquake? And the truth is
I don't same. Ours is expired. I really don't. And
I started thinking, well, maybe I should pay attention to this,
and then, of course life goes its own direction. All
a sudden, we're on stage at T Mobile Arena and
have IM packed my preparedness kid, that's how life goes. Always.
I keep your shoes right by the bed. I don't.

(04:09):
Who says that they trip over them?

Speaker 9 (04:11):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (04:11):
They did.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
Keep your like a pair of tennis shoes, maybe just
under your bed, but like right by your bed, so
that if the big one head, then you were able
to put shoes on and not have to search for
them around your house.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
What about my clothes, I'm gonna be naked into pair
of sneakers. I think the whole thing is supposed to
have there. But she's like, nobody does that.

Speaker 6 (04:26):
I don't.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
I don't prepare myself that well before I go to sleep.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
But anyway, that four point seven magnitude earthquake near Malibu
earlier in the month, and that got people talking again.
It was the fourteenth earthquake of a four point zero
or higher here in southern California this year, which is
a lot. So obviously concerns are up, and you know
the plate tectonic talk has increased. Does it mean the
big one's coming? Does it mean anything? Collet actually is

(04:51):
inspiring this conversation. She's in the back room. She was
not at the iHeart Ready Music Festival Madiana. Came call
that did not.

Speaker 4 (04:59):
Someone had to run station, someone had to be here.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Yeah, it was just me, yes, thank you. Way to
take one for the team.

Speaker 5 (05:05):
Year.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
Well, so you and your fiance Raoul, you spend a
few days putting together your earthquake. Can't not like that
you did that? What made you actually just go for it?

Speaker 10 (05:14):
Well?

Speaker 11 (05:14):
Okay, So my mom survived the north Ridge earthquake, and
so every time there's like an earthquake or anything, she
always texts me and is like, do you have everything?
And I honestly didn't, So I was like, enough have happened,
and then I saw I like listened to some podcasts
about the Big One, and I got all scared. So
I was just like, you know what, it's good just
to make a go bag. I made a huge go
bag for my house, and then we made two smaller

(05:36):
go bags for our.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
Cars in case we're not home when the big one happens. Okay,
I'm ready, and let's just what needs to be on
the I'm looking, I'm sort of googling what needs to
be in there? What did you guys pack? So we
packed it earthquake.

Speaker 11 (05:46):
Can food, which will expire in twenty twenty seven, so
we got to re you know, do everything in twenty
twenty second.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
What kind of food? A lot of soups? If I'm
being on it, to make sure you've got a can
open her in there?

Speaker 11 (05:58):
Oh, we made sure they all hads.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
Okay, smart, I got you. I'm I'm on top of it.
And then why do you throw some of those frenches
onion rings while you're at it? Because those are really good,
a little crispy.

Speaker 4 (06:09):
We're supposed to eat soup without a microwave.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
You just cold. It's a show.

Speaker 12 (06:13):
This is the Big One time, this is like survivors harder,
like if barter food you make you heat it right
in the can exactly.

Speaker 11 (06:25):
We also we have like heavy duty gloves in case
we need to like go through rubble or something like that.
We have emergency blankets, hygiene kits, oh gosh, what else?
Like everything we have so much it's I've spent over
two hundred dollars.

Speaker 4 (06:39):
It was crazy.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
Well, the point is, if you're hearing this and you
haven't done it, maybe it'll make you think about doing it.
I'm guilty myself of not doing it, but I'm really
gonna feel bad about myself if I'm not doing it.
After we did this here and I'm literally Michael was.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
Honest to make We have a big bin in the
garage ready to go, but it's all expired now because
we did it years ago. And it's one of those
things you have to stay on top of because yeah.

Speaker 11 (07:02):
We have a calendar, a little calendar thing in twenty
twenty seven that says redo your earthquake kit, so we're
ready to go.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
I'm on top prepared couple there. Yeah, Beyonce Beyonces, all right,
just quickly, if you're on that list during the election year,
which is now. It is relentless. You keep getting calls,
political calls. Americans have received fifteen billion political text that's
fifty messages for every phone in the country. So here's

(07:29):
how you avoid it. When you get the text, forward
the text the seven seven two six, that's spam. Well, goodbye,
thanks for coming, thank you. Door is not quiet. Hotey break,
delete and report junk yep, un block the number. You
can block the number. I mean, it takes a little
bit of work and they are relentless. But in settings
you can also send any text from unknown numbers to

(07:51):
a separate inbox that you won't see and it'll all
be over six weeks from tomorrow. Six long six weeks though,
So yeah, I would do with some of this stuff.
Today's quote is how they treat you is how they
feel about you. Believe them, really simple and powerful. How
they feel about you. Yep, that's sticks kiss FM headlines

(08:14):
with siciny well.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
A magnitude three point two earthquake struck near Inglewood and
Lennox at four forty eight this morning. Payper or plastic
will no longer be a choice at grocery stores in
California under a new law signed by Governor Gavin Newsom
that bans all plastic shopping bags for good. Starting this month,
Americans will be able to order free COVID nineteen test
kits that will be mailed to their homes. And the

(08:38):
lucky fan who caught Shohio Tani's historic fiftieth home run
is looking for a major payday. The Dodgers reportedly offered
the fan three hundred thousand dollars for the ball, and
he declined.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
On air with Ryan Seacrest.

Speaker 3 (08:54):
We're going to talk to Erica and Patricia el Sirino
Green Grocery. Remember we went out there at Huntington l
hambro in El Serrento, and we were out there when
we did our tour of lah So they're gonna come
back and check in with us. They're on a mission
to offer a great selection of culturally rooted products that
reflect their community needs and desire. And we met a
long line of that was one of the longest lines

(09:16):
of the day. I remember running down that line saying
hi to everybody, and it was blocks and blocks and
blocks so much. Now we're there back in April. Ryan's
roses in just a few minutes. Seven. You need to
get anywhere make sure you're with us streaming. She thinks
her fiance is cheating based on something or doctor told
her details and hopefully the answer is seven forty. Let

(09:37):
me grab Abby here. Good morning, Abby, how are you doing?

Speaker 9 (09:41):
Hi? I'm all right.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
How are you super good? Thank you for listening to us, Abby.
We are ready for you. How can we help you?

Speaker 8 (09:49):
Of course?

Speaker 10 (09:50):
Yeah, So I am desperately in need of your advice.
I've been casually seeing this guy for a few months
now and it's been going great. It's definitely more of
like a situationship type of vibe. So like when we
first started hanging out, we both like said pretty explicitly
that we're not looking for anything serious, and like, you know,

(10:13):
we established it on those terms and and just basically
said it was going to be casual and yeah, basically
a situationship. But like as time has gone on, I
feel like I am really falling for him in a
serious way, and I just.

Speaker 4 (10:28):
Like don't really know.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
I just don't know what.

Speaker 10 (10:32):
And so I know I know it's hindsight.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
Next time, call Uncle ry Rice sooner, because I could
have told you. I could, I can just I can
tell you in a situationship it's going one of two ways.
It's never staying a situationship. It's only going to be
a situation where you fall, or a situation where you
stop because you can't do it anymore. Acts get it

(10:59):
ends badly, or you fall. It doesn't stay situationally, it's impossible.
Human nature is impossible to have perpetual situationships. I could
have told you why do you think that is? Because
we need a direction. We can't just for Yeah, and feelings.

(11:21):
Feelings don't ungrow. They either stop or grow, you know
what I mean. I guess that is unngrowable. But feelings
are complicated. They don't just they don't just sit. I
guess that's the point. They either die or they evolve.
They don't just sit because you, for example, in marriage,
you evolve, Tanya, you evolve. But if you're in a situationship,

(11:44):
you can't ungrow and you can't evolve. You got to
just stay complacent, and in human nation doesn't.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
Do that unless you both agree, let's get out of
the situationship and start evolving together.

Speaker 3 (11:54):
But that's what Abby's trying to say. She doesn't know
if you don't know, if he feels the same way, right, right, right.

Speaker 5 (12:02):
This isn't so bad. Here's this is not so bad.
She just tells him she's falling for him. If he
doesn't feel the same way, then situationship's over. And if
he does, then you have a beautiful relationship and you
find another situationship.

Speaker 3 (12:14):
Wait, no, you don't find another. Everything was good.

Speaker 10 (12:17):
Till it's hard because, like you know, I have a
four year old daughter and he's met her, and he
like treats her so well and like gets her gifts
and stuff, and like, I just feel like it's very
clearly for him.

Speaker 4 (12:32):
The situation for situationship.

Speaker 3 (12:35):
Yeah, this relationship, all right, Well, there's there's really no
other path other than to notify him how you're feeling,
because it's either going to end or evolve. At least
you won't be in the same place. Yeah, all right, Well,
good luck, Abby, thank you for listening.

Speaker 1 (12:53):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (12:55):
Bye. An, tell you I do the same thing like
I have. I try, I say something, I articulate two
thirds of it right, and then it just ends wrong.

Speaker 5 (13:02):
Well you know what I meant, Like, if this situation ends,
she can just find another one.

Speaker 13 (13:07):
On air with Ryan Seacrest, I'm really proud of this
kind of relationship that we can have with a listener
or with a vendor, somebody that we were.

Speaker 3 (13:21):
Actually physically with who listens to the show. It's Eric
and Patricia. I'm getting to Ryan's roses too, but i
just want to do this trying to help them out
honestly for a second. But Eric and Patricia from El
Serina Green Grocer, they were part of our tour of
LA We started an Orange County when all over Los Angeles.
So we met them. We went to their shop and
they offer it's a really cool little boutique shop and

(13:43):
they've got seasonal produce grown by local farmers. They got breads, cheese,
egg spices, all the cool stuff and they're trying to
offer culturally rooted products that reflect the community. Now, we
visited them back in April for our twentieth anniversary tour,
checking in with them now for one simple reason. They
need some help, and we just really loved meeting them.

(14:05):
We loved their spot, We loved all of their customers
who came out and lined the blocks to say hello
to us. So Eric and Patricia, thanks for coming back
on and thank you again for hosting us inside your
shop a few months ago.

Speaker 14 (14:17):
Thank you Ryan, thanks for having us and for all
of your support in this last almost year and a
half of being open.

Speaker 8 (14:23):
We really appreciate you.

Speaker 3 (14:25):
Yeah, we appreciate the relationship, and I want to get
to the business of it because, as I understand it,
the reason you're here is you were counting on a
loan and you got denied and now the business is
at risk. And that's the reality, right correct.

Speaker 9 (14:41):
So we this is Patia. We were getting ready to
sign with the loan, the loan docs and at the
last minute we got declined because the bank is using
a new AI algorithm and they say they can't verify
the identity for the name that I have with many
other latinosus. So it has been in like an unreal

(15:01):
and sort of devastating blow. I mean, they didn't say
because of the name of latiness, but it's this name,
Patricia Totis if they cannot get verified, and so we
have tried fighting it and undoing it, but apparently once
AI flagged you for identity, they won't work in key is.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
So that's the kind of stuff that is crazy to
think about, right that You're you're penalized because of a
you know, an AI situation that's just not rooted in truth.

Speaker 9 (15:30):
Yeah, I mean, because you know, initially when you're doing loan,
you have to send in all your documentation, your ID,
like they go through a regular identity process verification. But
this was at the last minute, like literally making our
appointment with the notary design And this loan has been
part of our business plan because we got one too
open with my name and so this one has been

(15:52):
part of the plan to build out the business with integrity.
So by that we mean we want to prioritize nourishment
in the food desert. That is, we want to have
fair pay and benefits for our employees, which we already
do have. We want to keep prioritizing smaller BIPOC vendors
who are often we're often hard to have a harder
time getting into markets. So this fundraiser was is one

(16:15):
strategy to make up for the funds that we were
expect specting and we're just hoping that your listeners will
share or donate or come and visit the shop. And
also this fundraiser is part of I am working on
a larger fundraiser because we do want to continue operating
with integrity. We want to roll out our e commerce

(16:35):
and delivery plans. We want to actually invest in our
marketing and finish our beer and wine license, which were
in the very last steps of the application. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
So if you just get here, it's Erica and Patricia.
They're from El Serena Green Grocer. Take a look at
this on Instagram at el Serena gring Grocer on Instagram,
and just think about what they're saying. Because we did
have a chance to visit the store, and you know
your customers who came down to say hello to us,
they're loyal customers. You can search green Grocer on go

(17:06):
fund me. But I think what struck me was a
victim of AI. That makes no sense and reality is
why you're here.

Speaker 9 (17:13):
Yeah, yeah, it has been. It is unreal and kind
of devastating and and I mean we're gonna keep trying.
I'm I write grants regularly. I am still trying with
other banks.

Speaker 4 (17:27):
But that's a full time job.

Speaker 9 (17:28):
It is a oh yeah, yeah, and this has been.
This has been unbelievable. Honestly, we have tried to talk
with managers, with owners. With our bank agent who was
helping us, has never seen this happen before. But honestly,
she was like, this is just something I might start
seeing more of. So yeah, it's well, it's been a blow.

Speaker 3 (17:53):
Well let's let's get the word out. Search green grocer on,
go fund me. Good luck. We'll stay in touch. We'll
make sure you keep us and appreciate you coming back on.
Thanks for sharing the story.

Speaker 9 (18:03):
Thank you, see you later.

Speaker 1 (18:06):
Ruby, Thanks Brian.

Speaker 3 (18:08):
By bye, Eric and Patricia there Elserna big fans of
Ruby Gonzales there.

Speaker 2 (18:12):
I love shopping there, so I always go in and
I'm just like a cute spot.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
They have so many good Yeah, I know, I'm with you.
It's kiss. Let's go. It's time for Ryan's roses gather in.
Turn it up. This is the situation Valerie has written
to us in Studio City and says, I'm sorry if
this is not appropriate for radio. But my gynecologist yes,

(18:36):
but my gynecologist says I have something that only my
fiance could have given me. My fiance insists he didn't cheat.
My doctor says it's the only way I could have
had this. I mean it's very written.

Speaker 6 (18:48):
Rand Low walls, Valerie, we understand what your doctor is
saying here, So we got that, But did you sense
anything was going on.

Speaker 3 (18:58):
Did you sense that he might be cheating on you?
Or is this like a complete out of the blue shock.

Speaker 7 (19:05):
It's just the weird symptoms, you know that started coming up,
and you know I were on the radio, So I
can't say.

Speaker 3 (19:17):
Well, I just think that we understand what you're telling us.
But I think the question for me is if you
find out but this is true and it sounds like
medically factually it has to be, that's what I'm saying,
then you can't marry him. But you already know not sometimes,
I guess, so if your doctor's telling you that this

(19:38):
is science, then you do already know and you are
engaged to be married.

Speaker 7 (19:48):
Yeah, yeah, we're supposed to get married in February.

Speaker 5 (19:51):
Well, can you maybe get a second opinion, because sometimes
sometimes doctors are not always right.

Speaker 4 (19:57):
Maybe get a second opinion.

Speaker 7 (20:01):
Yeah, I mean I double checked. I double checked with
fist doctor and you know, this insisted it was some
sort of bacterial infection. But my doctor says that that's
not what that is. I mean, I can go to
another kind of coologist.

Speaker 3 (20:17):
Got a collegist told her that she's got something that
she had to have gotten from her fiance, which means
that her fiance was with someone else, right, you follow me?
So our fiance and Sissy didn't cheat. The doctor says, well,
the science here that you know, I mean, there's medically
this had to have happened. But we're gonna call him

(20:39):
and see if we can find out if there's somebody
else or another name that he's thinking about. So Valerie
and her big decision is if this is true, and
it sounds like it is, I got to call off
the marriage. But at least you would know, now, I mean,
that's the reality of it, and that's those are the stakes.
So I just need to say Ryan my permission to call,

(20:59):
and then his name go ahead.

Speaker 7 (21:01):
Oh yeah, Ryan, you have my permission to call.

Speaker 8 (21:04):
His name is.

Speaker 3 (21:07):
Okay, got it. I'm going to do that right now.
Be very quiet. Let's see what we can find out.

Speaker 14 (21:24):
Hello.

Speaker 2 (21:25):
Hi is a seb Yes, Hi said, my name is Vonnie.
I'm calling from V's Flowers on Ventura. How are you
doing this morning?

Speaker 14 (21:34):
I'm fine. I guess that's great.

Speaker 11 (21:36):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (21:36):
You know, I'm actually calling because we're doing a free promotion.
It's something that we do about once a month. It's
a dozen free red roses that you can send to
anybody that you'd like. We're just trying to promote our business.
Is that something you'd be interested in?

Speaker 14 (21:49):
A free A free wy.

Speaker 2 (21:51):
It's a it's a bouquet of roses. There's it's a
dozen and they're red. We can send them out by
lunchtime today to anybody that you'd like the R free.
I don't need cash, credit card, anything like that. We
just hope that you like our flowers come back as
a customer one day.

Speaker 14 (22:06):
I'm not sure I follow.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
We can start with just like the name of the
person you want to send them to. Is there anybody
you want to send free roses too?

Speaker 14 (22:16):
Sure? You can send them to Katrina?

Speaker 3 (22:19):
Katrina? Sure? And what would you like to put on
the card?

Speaker 14 (22:26):
Oh?

Speaker 15 (22:28):
I guess just like thinking of you have an incredible day.

Speaker 3 (22:32):
Okay, that's cute, thinking of you have an incredible day. Seb.
Your voice is being broadcast on the radio. We have
your fiance wife to be Valerie, on the phone. Can
you explain what's going on here? Your wife is on
the line. She's asked us to call you. Her doctor

(22:53):
tells her that medically something has happened and the only
way that could happen is if you were with someone else.
You just sent flowers to Katrina and said, thinking of you,
You're about to get married to a different person, Valerie.
So what's going on?

Speaker 14 (23:12):
I don't know who. I don't know what's going on? Idaho?

Speaker 3 (23:17):
Are you cheating on your fiance? Are you cheating on Valerie?

Speaker 1 (23:22):
No? Absolutely not?

Speaker 3 (23:24):
Who's Katrina?

Speaker 14 (23:27):
What?

Speaker 8 (23:28):
So?

Speaker 14 (23:28):
What was the flowers thing?

Speaker 11 (23:30):
What?

Speaker 14 (23:30):
What? What's happening Valerie?

Speaker 3 (23:32):
Why don't you give it a shot and see if
you can explain to him why we're here?

Speaker 7 (23:36):
Seb, what's going on?

Speaker 14 (23:39):
Wait?

Speaker 15 (23:40):
Did you did you put me on a radio to
test me, like to see who I would send flowers to?

Speaker 3 (23:46):
What?

Speaker 11 (23:46):
Yes?

Speaker 8 (23:47):
And you failed?

Speaker 3 (23:48):
Who was Katrina?

Speaker 14 (23:50):
Oh? Is this about?

Speaker 1 (23:53):
Is this about the infection thing?

Speaker 8 (23:54):
The bacterial infection?

Speaker 14 (23:56):
I'm telling you you did not get that from me.

Speaker 2 (23:59):
Just stop?

Speaker 8 (23:59):
Are you you cheating on me?

Speaker 15 (24:04):
I mean, well, technically I'm cheating with you.

Speaker 3 (24:08):
What what? Look?

Speaker 15 (24:11):
Look, I mean it is what it is.

Speaker 14 (24:14):
But I think we need to you know, we can
work something out like that that would be best for Lola.

Speaker 3 (24:20):
So, oh my god, you've never seen Lola again?

Speaker 14 (24:25):
No?

Speaker 3 (24:26):
Stop, come on, I mean not what do you mean
you're cheating with her?

Speaker 14 (24:31):
What I mean she? I guess, I don't know.

Speaker 16 (24:38):
I guess she's the other woman, like technically Valerie your fiance.

Speaker 3 (24:45):
Yeah, how are you so calm about this?

Speaker 9 (24:47):
Yeah?

Speaker 14 (24:49):
I don't I really don't know what's going on. This
is this is crazy.

Speaker 3 (24:55):
Well are you engaged to Valerie or are you engaged
to Katrina? Are you married? Used?

Speaker 15 (25:01):
No, I'm not married to anyone. I'm I'm engaged to Valerie,
and uh, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (25:12):
Oh my god, this is well. This is going to
work this out. I mean, there's nobody on this planet
it's going to want to work it out with you.

Speaker 14 (25:20):
I mean, I guess if that's what it is. We
just like we have to make something work for our daughter.

Speaker 3 (25:30):
How are you there?

Speaker 9 (25:32):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (25:33):
I see there is the daughter? Is is Lowly? Your
daughter together?

Speaker 9 (25:37):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (25:38):
She's two years old.

Speaker 3 (25:42):
Okay, I don't know what to saying. Do you have
any thoughts that you want to share?

Speaker 7 (25:49):
I feel like everything's just crashing down around me.

Speaker 8 (25:54):
You made me sick. We have a baby together.

Speaker 14 (26:01):
I mean, this is just crazy to do. You said
we're on the radio.

Speaker 3 (26:04):
Okay, stop that.

Speaker 2 (26:05):
Who cares about the radio? You've been living a double
life for god knows how many years.

Speaker 8 (26:09):
I don't know.

Speaker 14 (26:10):
I don't why. I don't want to talk about this here.
We can.

Speaker 3 (26:15):
Like, I don't know if we're gonna value We're gonna
take you off the air. Your doctor was right. He
makes me sick. There's no chance she stays with him.
They've already got a kid together.

Speaker 1 (26:26):
On Air with a Ryan Seacrest. Air on Air with
a Ryan Seacrest.

Speaker 3 (26:37):
So Valerie is engaged to her fiance, they're about to
get married. Her doctor said she had had some symptoms
of something that would indicate he was being He was cheating,
and she knew. The doctor said that that was the
only way she could have these symptoms, but she still
wanted to hear it. Well, this guy is the definition

(27:00):
of narcissists. He is cheating. He sent the roses to
Katrina said it, thinking you have an incredible day. They
have a daughter, Valerie and he have a daughter together.
They're about to get married, and he says, look, I'm
cheating with you. I mean, he basically said, I'm cheating
on you. Then we got to work it out. And

(27:20):
what world is that? Okay? In what world is he
not feeling any sort of badness. I mean, he didn't
sound like he cared at all. And yet he's telling
his fance he wants to work it out. He's cheating
on her to have a child together. They're not married yet,
there's no other way other than she's Valerie can't do it.

Speaker 11 (27:43):
No.

Speaker 2 (27:43):
But the crazy part is that he's been in a
relationship for so many years already, and then he met
Valerie and they have a kid together, and that's.

Speaker 3 (27:52):
Like she's the one that he's cheating with. Technically, is
that what he meant? That he was with Katrina longer, Yes,
and then he met Valerie, child with her, engaged her,
So technically he's cheating on Katrina exactly.

Speaker 2 (28:10):
Yes, yes, and Valerie had no clue about Katrina's just
so she's technically being cheated on two in her in
her mind.

Speaker 3 (28:19):
So where do you go? I mean, they have a
child together, so they've got that to deal with. But
you can't marry him.

Speaker 4 (28:24):
No, she cannot.

Speaker 3 (28:25):
He's not going to change right. Let me grab this.
Here's a theory. Good morning, how are you, Martha?

Speaker 8 (28:31):
I'm yeah, I'm here.

Speaker 3 (28:33):
So you have a let me hear your theory on this.

Speaker 8 (28:36):
Yeah, there's a third woman. There's obviously a third woman
because Katrina was first, Barie was the second, and clearly
he got it from someone else, Like, I mean, there's
there's a third woman. There's someone who he's a cheater,
so it makes sense.

Speaker 3 (28:56):
And why do you think there's a third.

Speaker 8 (29:00):
I see, he didn't get it from Katrina, he didn't
get it from Valory. He got it from the third.

Speaker 3 (29:06):
Unless Kata, unless Katrina else. Well, that's the thing, because
it's been together for he's been doing this for a
long time with both of them. There had to be
an independent party involved from somebody somewhere got it, Martha,
that's actually smarter than our brains combined. Yeah, is out there.

Speaker 8 (29:26):
We don't really know. But the truth is that Valerie
dodged able with the silver lining is that at least
they're not married, so yeah, you can walk away. They
didn't have that wedding, so really lucky.

Speaker 3 (29:39):
Thank you for listening to us. That is very very various.

Speaker 14 (29:43):
Dude on.

Speaker 1 (29:45):
Air with Ryan Seacrest.

Speaker 3 (29:51):
It's Ryan Seacrest, it's we got the back room, we
are here is back both of which were backst age. Marianna,
Mikayla at the iHeart Radio Music Festival, Mikayla was in
charge of my schedule. Yep, much job, Mikayla. I've never
seen you so focused. I mean you focus here, but

(30:13):
like you were really focused. And I didn't you know
when you're backstage at the festival the T Mobile Arena.
I'm not backstage in arenas much. I mean, like artists are.
They know the drill. I'm a backstage in arenas too much, right,
And so Mikayla would say, do you want to go
to the stage because you're up in a few minutes,
And I'd say absolutely, and I'd start walking one once
you know it's the other way.

Speaker 4 (30:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (30:35):
And by the way, I was there for five hours
for two nights, and I still couldn't figure out which
way was up. Much the same backstage to me, a
dark backstage memorized by now. But see, I'm so focused
on what I'm about to do on stage. I get it.
Tell which way is northeast?

Speaker 2 (30:54):
Honest, your schedule is insanity. So I I understand that
you actually don't know layer left from right.

Speaker 3 (31:01):
Every four minutes there's something, but it's so much fun,
and I mean everybody who came out was telling me
because we started with the Black Crows and communic a bag,
When's the Funny? When's the funny? Set was in was
just so just so good. New Kids on the Block
and Keith Urban and Chris Martin did the coolest Coldplay
acoustic set right he did Hosier Halsey Doja the weekend

(31:22):
closing it out. But everybody kept saying to me that
I saw they couldn't decide when to get out of
their seat to go to the bathroom because everything was
so fast and so good back to back that they
were holding themselves.

Speaker 2 (31:36):
Yeah, because that's the thing with our stage. It's a
rotating stage, so as soon as when act is done,
it starts spinning.

Speaker 3 (31:41):
You can give us is that you couldn't Pete. We
love to hear that, right, We love to hear that
bladders were full because you couldn't decide how to go
when to go sisitting out on stage with me doing
the whatever. Those things are really cool. The smart glasses,

(32:03):
it was so cool.

Speaker 2 (32:04):
They really blew me away and uh, your point of
view because Ryan was recording video on his the entire time.

Speaker 3 (32:12):
Very cool ravang glasses like the ones you love, Yeah,
with a camera in them and you press the button
on the frame and it records. I mean, it's like
something out of space.

Speaker 2 (32:20):
And I love it because I only have ever had
a video of myself on stage like that, because every
time you would look at me, it would film, and
then it would film back out to the audience.

Speaker 3 (32:29):
And so having that is really cool.

Speaker 2 (32:30):
And then the picture that I took of you, I'm
like just jealous that I'm not in it because I.

Speaker 4 (32:35):
Took it with.

Speaker 3 (32:37):
Insta If you want to see that really cool. So yeah,
it was great and tiny, and I did do the run.
We got up early and did the run. I was
and we'll talk about that and say what we need
to do more. It was, you know, so funny you
say that in Cincany. I'm glad that you're here because
I know you wanted to do this and you just
couldn't because you were at Diplow till what time.

Speaker 2 (32:55):
Because you guys, I never once told you I wanted
to do this run.

Speaker 3 (33:00):
It's not true, true truth. I never said I don't
want to do this run. Just blowing it off a
little bit.

Speaker 2 (33:07):
When you guys were talking about it last week, I
was like, I will not be there.

Speaker 3 (33:10):
Yes, I didn't bring shoes. I didn't I didn't bring
good news. I have a proposal for some more and
I'll tell you about that later too. Keep remind me
of Mark from my Mark. I've got an idea. What's
funny about So it's two nights, right the first night,
it's we've worked, We've traveled. It's a long day. I
write dead by the end of that day, like I can't.

(33:30):
I did eat at midnight. I was so hungry. I
ate at midnight in my room and then I went
to sleep, and Tanya thought I wasn't gonna, you know,
get up early enough for the run. Ha ha, I did.

Speaker 4 (33:43):
I totally thought you were going to sleep there.

Speaker 3 (33:45):
But Sisney, you went out Friday night. You went to
Diplow and I said, how was that? You said it
was pretty chill. He invited us into his the game.

Speaker 2 (33:55):
I don't know if it's hiss like sweet every single
time that he performs there, but he invited us up
for a cocktail before his set and hung out there
for like an hour and then went down. We were
like in Diplo's booth, and that's the way to really experience.

Speaker 3 (34:08):
There's a difference in Sysney's Life of Mind. I ordered
the impossible burger to my room and she was out
with Tim and I brought the crew.

Speaker 2 (34:15):
I brought Ruby, I brought Maria, and I Gabby just
Wall was there.

Speaker 3 (34:19):
I was like, let's roll tany were you there?

Speaker 5 (34:21):
No, I did a hybrid of you, the two of you.
I went to like our corporate after party. So I
was hanging out with like Woody and Booker and the bosses.

Speaker 3 (34:31):
Yeah yeah, so real quick, then Sisney and we have
to take a break. What time did you wrap? And
that's amazing that you went that long and then still
performed your services the next day, I'm happy to I
think we were back in the hotel three forty five.
Oh wow, close to four. We almost passed her on
our run in the morning, then we missed her by night. Yeah.

(34:52):
By the way, on Friday, when I was trying to
get out there after the show, we had delays. I
was a little concerned because right all the flights were
delayed getting into Vegas. They said due to weather. You
never want to.

Speaker 4 (35:04):
Hear that when you're about to get on a plane.

Speaker 3 (35:07):
Or when you have a live show in a matter
of hours or right do to weather. Or you got
to work in a few hours. But I had a
little bit of anxiety panic about the timing of everything
because our flight was delayed a couple of hours. Yeah,
we were delayed about an hour and a half as well.
Then I got there and I saw the dark clouds.
I mean it was not it wasn't raining, but there
were some pretty heavy clouds. So anyway, we made it
out there to Las Vegas for the iHeartRadio Music Festival.

(35:29):
Tiny and I made the run. We'll tell you about
that after nine o'clock. Not that there's that much to tell,
but we did have some observation.

Speaker 4 (35:34):
There's so much to talk about.

Speaker 3 (35:36):
Also, Chiny and I both have blisters on our feet
from our shoes and all of the walking. Tya came
in with blisters on her feet. I grew. You came
in Friday with question.

Speaker 5 (35:45):
No, it would like literally came within ten minutes of
me being a arena.

Speaker 3 (35:49):
It was because well, I had on, you know, shoes
like dressed Sunday school shoes.

Speaker 4 (35:54):
I love them, though you did.

Speaker 3 (35:55):
Yeah, they were so different for me. Yes, I know
there were preppy loafers there were, yeah, but they were
news so they heard they rubbed and the amount of
walking that goes on, you know, back and forth, back
and forth.

Speaker 2 (36:06):
I know.

Speaker 3 (36:07):
Uh. Doja Cat was on Saturday night after Halsey before
the weekend. Yes, and she's in the Trading Report go
ahead time.

Speaker 4 (36:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (36:14):
I was actually watching Doja Cat right next to Tiffany Hattish,
which was pretty she was backstage with Yeah. Yeah, yeah,
so I was watching Dojah next to her. But there
was a point in Doja Cat set where she flashes
her ring on her like on her ring finger. She
I did see, yeah, and it was all in the
middle of your favorite song, Ryan A.

Speaker 4 (36:35):
Gore Hills.

Speaker 5 (36:36):
But it's the lyric rub it in their face, put
a rock on her hand?

Speaker 3 (36:39):
Did she see me? Melt like a candle during She's
a song. I love that song so much. I could not.

Speaker 4 (36:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (36:46):
So but so because she did that and there was
a ring on that finger, there was all these speculation
from fans like, oh my gosh, are her and Joseph
Quinn engaged? So Dojah posted a tweet an X and
she said, no, I'm not engaged. It's a David Nerman
ring with no rocks in it.

Speaker 16 (37:04):
Interesting, but then she deleted this tweet. So, but she
had it on her engagement finger, her ring right.

Speaker 4 (37:11):
Yeah, but it was just like a big silver ring.

Speaker 3 (37:13):
Hold on, you don't put a ring on your ring
finger without knowing it's on your ring finger going out
into an a ring the lyric is it about that? Yes,
it was a prop.

Speaker 5 (37:22):
And also, I before I was engaged, I used to
wear rings on my ring finger all the WII.

Speaker 3 (37:27):
Why to keep people from hitting on you.

Speaker 5 (37:29):
No, no, but like like if it was an event,
or like if I was going, like it's like it's
a great finger to put jewelry on.

Speaker 2 (37:41):
I never did that, but I think don't did this
because I mean it's.

Speaker 3 (37:46):
Literally the lyric, you know. Yeah, all right, well it
was so good. It was so much fun. Yeah, all
of our listeners it came backstage to meet us. Thank
you guys as well, got a chance. It was not
just meat. It was a hugging greet. Yeah, that's what
we should call these things.

Speaker 4 (38:04):
Hugging greed.

Speaker 3 (38:04):
Yes, Mark, let's rebrandhim to hugging greets.

Speaker 8 (38:07):
Great.

Speaker 3 (38:07):
Great, I end up hugging everyone anyway, I do too. Three,
when the Morning show doesn't meet and greet, let's call
a hugging greed. We we I literally feel like I mean,
I guess because no, not hugging greed.

Speaker 4 (38:19):
Well, hug, hug and hang.

Speaker 3 (38:24):
Well you were really excited about that one. I like it, Okay,
I actually like it. Yeah, hug and hang. It's a
hugging hang. Okay, Mark, we're rebranding to hugging hangs, perfect
right and down right because we'll forget hugging hangs all right. So,
and it was great to hug and hang all of
you guys who listen every morning. Thank you for coming
so many first time rates to the festival Friday and

(38:44):
Saturday in Vegas. Sunday I got back to go to
the football game the Rams forty nine Ers, so many
forty nine Ers fans in so far.

Speaker 2 (38:52):
This is the thing with Chargers in Rams games, It's
it's an away game for.

Speaker 3 (38:55):
All of us away fans. I mean, I was. I
was saying hi to people when I was leaving in
They all had red jerseys on. I know, I know,
you kind of get used to it. It was fun.
I met some people. You know what's interesting. I met
a couple of guys when I was leaving in the
parking lot and they wanted to talk about my hair,
and they they said, it looks like you've got more
of your hair in real life than you have when

(39:17):
we hear about it. And I said thanks. And then
the one guy goes, look, look at I'm doing mine
like I'm fluffing mine up a little bit too. And
so we started we actually started touching each other's hair.
Don't know each other. We started patting each other's like,
your hair has been looking extra fluffy these days. I
let it grow out in the front.

Speaker 2 (39:33):
Yeah, it's nice. Maybe the product you're using.

Speaker 3 (39:36):
Well done to the rams. Congratulations. That was a crazy game.

Speaker 2 (39:40):
I watched obviously from home, but I've never seen, maybe
only in a movie have I seen that move where
they just pot potato flick.

Speaker 3 (39:47):
It's not the hot potato, so flee whatever. I got
the hot potato. They called it back though, Oh they did. Well,
no they didn't.

Speaker 2 (39:52):
They didn't get it like it. It was two seconds left.

Speaker 3 (39:55):
They were just kind of playing at the end the
hot potato.

Speaker 4 (39:58):
The very end.

Speaker 3 (39:59):
Oh yeah, hot potato.

Speaker 1 (40:01):
At the end.

Speaker 3 (40:02):
By the way, they almost made it down there, they
down pretty close. I started to get a little nervous
at the end. I know they just were the clocks
running out. They just passed the ball from player to player.
If they do it laterally, you can't go forward.

Speaker 1 (40:10):
Last.

Speaker 2 (40:10):
Yes, yes, it was really impressive to watch. But yeah,
congrats to the Grams or Therams and the Rams.

Speaker 3 (40:19):
I love the La Grams. Okay, So we did make
the run. It was the iHeart Festival. We did the
annual Vegas Strip run on Saturday morning, and it was
Tanya and I and Sistney went out to dip blow
to you know, have fun.

Speaker 2 (40:32):
By the way, I was awake when you guys were
texting and meeting up and doing all whatever.

Speaker 3 (40:36):
You just avoided responding.

Speaker 5 (40:37):
Yeah, I was very smart that you didn't tell me
your room number because I want to come a knock
in O chance she knows.

Speaker 3 (40:44):
So the night before, just so you know, the night
before our run, and we posted this all up so
you can see it. I felt the pressure to do
it because we talked about it and people were asking
me if I'm going to do it. So Friday night,
I got home, I got into the room. After the show,
I ordered the the vegan Burger Wow, wild of you. Yeah,
they have the impossible burger, So I had when I

(41:05):
was hunger. I had that, went to sleep Tany had
sent me a text that night what times to run.
I did not respond because I thought she might think, oh,
it's not on until I woke up at seven thirty
four and texted her at eight oh two, after I
had I have a couple of coffee first to make
sure I was in. I texted her and I said,
see you when I say nine, Yeah, no, you said

(41:26):
nine thirty nine thirty. Then I moved, I moved it up.

Speaker 4 (41:30):
Yeah, how about that?

Speaker 3 (41:35):
She goes up in line at the coffee shop. Now,
but okay, yeah, it was too long. It was so long, Sysney.
I go down the elevator and I meet her in
the lobby and I walked right past her.

Speaker 5 (41:44):
Yeah, he goes, I didn't recognize you. I'm like, why
do you see me every day?

Speaker 3 (41:48):
But I didn't recognize you. I don't know you pretty run.

Speaker 1 (41:53):
And long.

Speaker 2 (41:54):
You couldn't recognize people, didn't you call it Mariatta Ruby
or mean?

Speaker 3 (41:57):
Everybody was different. Everybody was like NightWare, daywear, jobwear. Everybody
was changing things up different. You can change your eyes up,
your makeup.

Speaker 2 (42:08):
Different eyelashes on Friday night versus Saturday.

Speaker 3 (42:10):
Night goes different directions.

Speaker 2 (42:13):
My hair was super long on Friday, and then it
was short on on Saturday.

Speaker 5 (42:17):
But you know what Ryan does when he runs with people,
and this ship this is criminal. I am a person,
meaning you're not going on a run solo. You're not
by yourself. He had his headphones in.

Speaker 3 (42:30):
Well, now you do when you work out, not when you're.

Speaker 4 (42:33):
With someone that when you run the long time?

Speaker 3 (42:35):
Did you think you and ring me chatting this entire
is exactly why I didn't do this run. I would
have been guilted. She guilted me until I kept them
in my ears. But she guilt because I think they
look cool. But she guilted me into talking to her yeah,
and videotaping it.

Speaker 5 (42:53):
And he goes, Okay, I'm gonna keep them in, but
I won't. I'm not gonna put music on. I was like, well,
that's a nice compromise. That's that's that's a gifferent right there.

Speaker 3 (43:00):
It's good for our business. If you listen to iHeart
while you run, Tanya, that's fine.

Speaker 9 (43:06):
It on.

Speaker 5 (43:07):
But also I like when you run with someone, I
feel like you just don't have the headphones in because
you you're running with someone.

Speaker 3 (43:13):
We take the strip, we're running down the strip and
you got to run through tunnels, you got to go
up escalators, down ramps, across bridges. Every Tonny, is that
the circus circus?

Speaker 1 (43:21):
Is that?

Speaker 3 (43:21):
What is that one?

Speaker 4 (43:22):
Yeah, Mike, I'm just a speculation.

Speaker 3 (43:24):
So it's a tour guide.

Speaker 4 (43:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (43:25):
But what was really interesting, and this was my takeaway,
a lot of guys out there running, a lot of guys,
a lot of dudes out there running. Yeah, And they'd
approach me, and Tany was behind me, and they'd approach me.
Then I'd say good morning. Nothing, Tony is not directly
behind me, She's a few jog steps behind you. And
I'd hear go good morning, and they go Hi. Yeah,

(43:47):
nothing for me, everything for Tan.

Speaker 5 (43:48):
It was pretty actually wild to see they would ignore
Ryan completely completely and then they I would say good
morning and they would say it back to me.

Speaker 3 (43:57):
What do you think that means? Is it your approach?
Maybe so your tone, like it's the way you say it? Yeah,
Hers is like, Hi, why did that me? I know why.

Speaker 5 (44:10):
It's because you have your headphones. And headphones are like
the universal signal.

Speaker 3 (44:13):
Don't bother mephones. Here's here's here's this the annual Vegas
strip run. I got one person from the show to
come with where are you? Never agreed right, he's asleep,
but she was.

Speaker 6 (44:27):
With dip okay just starting soundtrack in the background.

Speaker 5 (44:34):
Most times I had to tell Ryan on his phone
is always better excuse.

Speaker 1 (44:39):
To walk.

Speaker 4 (44:42):
Faster than I thought.

Speaker 5 (44:46):
He was videotaping and he I would have to tell him,
you didn't hit the record button.

Speaker 4 (44:50):
So he's just holding his phoneut.

Speaker 9 (44:52):
Running and.

Speaker 3 (44:54):
They don't make it obvious that you've hit the recorder
not it's it's red bar the when you're running. It's
hard anyway.

Speaker 5 (45:03):
I have to say, I am very impressed with your
athletic ability because I was.

Speaker 3 (45:09):
I am too, which is the reason why I did
not go on the run.

Speaker 17 (45:11):
He was like a gazelle and he was literally running
like a gazelle, just smooth and quick, and I towards
the end, I was really like having to to keep up.

Speaker 16 (45:21):
Yeah, and I was surprised by that. So so here's
what I think we should do going forward. Thank you, Tanya.

Speaker 3 (45:27):
I think we should do a bi monthly pre farmers
market run in different regions of you know, close to
where we live.

Speaker 4 (45:36):
I love it. I actually clocked it. It's it was
a little over two miles that we.

Speaker 3 (45:40):
Went, Sisney, what do you think I'm still not really
I'm not a group you know what I mean by myself.
There's other people on this team that could come with us. Yeah,
the mad you at the end, I mean you at
the farmers Market. I think it's really cute.

Speaker 4 (45:59):
I think it's bonding.

Speaker 3 (46:00):
I love it.

Speaker 4 (46:02):
It's like endorphins and you know.

Speaker 2 (46:04):
It's the running like I'm just not a runners class
or a workout class, like I'm that's more my screaming
dog pound.

Speaker 3 (46:13):
Yes, I'm down on.

Speaker 1 (46:15):

Boysober

Have you ever wondered what life might be like if you stopped worrying about being wanted, and focused on understanding what you actually want? That was the question Hope Woodard asked herself after a string of situationships inspired her to take a break from sex and dating. She went "boysober," a personal concept that sparked a global movement among women looking to prioritize themselves over men. Now, Hope is looking to expand the ways we explore our relationship to relationships. Taking a bold, unfiltered look into modern love, romance, and self-discovery, Boysober will dive into messy stories about dating, sex, love, friendship, and breaking generational patterns—all with humor, vulnerability, and a fresh perspective.
