in arms about this. There's a story of a guy
that kicked his own mom out of his wedding. So
he's thirty years old right, posted on Reddit about kicking
his mom out of his wedding, and people are split.
He was getting married to June, the name June cut

three years together, June and his mom never got along.

They didn't really gel.

So June refused to let his mom push her around
and he respected that, just like, look, he's not working.

Margo dated for five years, but he says Margo was
very He says she was manipulative and their dynamic wasn't great.

family and friends, sunny day, good weather. His divorced parents

the guy kicked them out. Yeah, yeah, he asked them

maybe Margot leaves and mom you can stay.

But that was so messed up.

I mean, if Margot stays to she steal the spotlight,
the thunder or whatever.

No, I don't plus the audacity of Margot to go
to the wedding.

Yes, first rude, Well it is, I mean it's obviously
what mom was doing, right, So would you kick your
mom out?

I just don't think you can kick your mom out
if you're like, especially if you're her only son.

And Margot, what's she doing?

What needs to go? Why did Margot even come in
the first place? Right, Margot needs to kick the cans.

I don't like that the mom had a bad relationship
with the current, so I understand that the current and
ones get married to uh that he said, look, this
is not ever going to work out between the two
of them. I don't like that he's like that his
mom surprised him and didn't tell him he was going
to do this. And I don't like the fact that

she likes the girl he brought more than she likes
the girl he's marrying.

I don't like a lot of that. But I don't
have a problem with the next coming to a wedding.

Oh gosh, I can't. It always comes back to Margot
is welcomed. Yeah, Margot and Mary and Meredith and married
them all.

I just think it was a surprise, like he didn't
tell his son he was going to do this, and

The Burden
The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three).
