Speaker 1 (00:00):
And it's got got with Bruno there die with a
smile on one of two point seven Kiss FM. Good morning.
The NFL playoffs begin this weekend, the Chargers playing Houston
one point thirty. That's tomorrow. Yeah, could probably use a
little relief in the form of some sport event tomorrow's
CBS Premiat plus. The Rams play Monday night. That is
at home against Minnesota. So sunny skies, dare I say

(00:23):
all weekend with highs around seventy, we are paying your bills.
That is back. If you're going to the mall this weekend,
beware these things. They are five times more bacteria ridden
than the floor. I'll tell you about that. So Patti
Rodriguez is on the line, Let me grab her. Remember
Patti Rodriguez from Seacrest Patty.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Good morning, Hi, Good morning everyone.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
It has been a historically tragic week and you were
top of mind because you've been through this before and
you're home burning down.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
I have I lost my house ten years ago. You
guys know that was that.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
A decade ago. I must say. Patty does keep in
touch with me if there's ever any a restaurant she
goes to anywhere in La Southern California. She sends me like,
you gotta go here. If I go back and look
at my history, I think it's all restaurants you sent me.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
By the way, Patty, you still help produce this show,
like you'll tell that you guys should talk about this.
Oh I do, I do. I'm always talking to you, Mark,
I miss you all. We miss you too.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
So you post something very timely about what's happening here.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Yes, I did you know. It's it's so tragic, and
I understand all too well what many Angelino's are going
through right now. There's no pain than losing everything all
at once, and nothing, nothing can describe Ryan Susinitania, this
type of loss when you when you lose your home

(01:54):
and you lose everything, your memories, pictures, your your children's
first one thing. There's no there's no way to describe it.
But I think you know what I I do know
is that I promise that everyone listening that has lost
their home this week to these horrible fires, that even

(02:15):
though it doesn't feel like it right now, you will
get through it. It's it's it's also very tough to
navigate your insurance during this time. And I and I
think what I want to share with everyone listening is
you know you have to contact your insurance immediately, but

(02:36):
you do not have to sign anything right now. I
would I would suggest you know, you get a complete
copy of your policy. I would also suggest you document
all the conversations you have with your insurance, record them
if you can, because I promise you you will not
remember a thing.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Wow, that's an interesting I'm sure that it's so emotional
and your heart's pounding and beating, and you're talking about
these important things in your life and you may not
remember all that. Patty. Also, you know some people sadly
take advantage of these situations and they scam you and
come after you for scam it m and it's going to.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Happen, and you just have to be again. You just
have to say no to everyone that's coming to you,
say you know, I don't have time for this right now.
I think it's just about reading, grieving the loss and
knowing that you will get through it, and just connecting
with friends and family right now. And the insurance claim
all that there's no rush. You have time to do

(03:40):
all that. So if they're rushing you to sign anything,
don't take your time to read every single document. There's
no rush, there's no reason for you to sign anything
while you're grieving.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
This loss and trying to figure out where you're going
to be and stay and get organized to get your
life back on track in the immediate future.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Yeah, exactly. Just take your time with it. And I
just I feel I feel for everybody because I know
how it feels. It just feels like the entire world
just collapsed on you. But we're all going to get
through it. We're the greatest city in this in this world,
and we're all here for each other. And you know,
just just right now, Michael just lets to go evacuate

(04:23):
a pig, a three hundred pounds pig. So we're all
we're all here for each other.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Michael. I miss talking to Michael. Patti Rodriguez here and
her Michael Saga. Patty and Michael once saw those two.
Did they ever get married?

Speaker 2 (04:37):
When that happens, you will be the first to know.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
But Patty, speaking from real perspective, here lost over ten
years ago and came in the next day to to
us because she just needed someplace to go. Well, Patty,
we miss you, we love you, Thank you so much.
Keep sending me. Every time you find a new neighborhood
restaurant in l I send it to me, yes.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
And I'll see you. Student in March, w oh yeah, somebody,
oh yes.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
I was like, somebody, remind me what Marshall's fun. I
love yes us together obviously the band is back in
March Tanya's wedding. Look out, there's a cake station. Have
you heard? Everybody's talking about it? All right?

Speaker 2 (05:24):
We love you favorite place, Love you all bye.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
She's great and big entrepreneur Patty Rodriguez. Nothing makes me
happier and seeing somebody come through here and springboard into
their own mogelhood like she did. All right. Coming next,
The thing that the mall just has on their list
of dirtier, more bacteria than the floor. Something you should
know about if you're going with the kids,
