Speaker 1 (00:00):
Do you believe you should live with your soon to
be lifelong partner before you get married. A lot of
hard positions on this, Tanya Yes.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
So Bachelor alum Daisy Kent, with whom we fell in
love with during Joey grass a Day's season of The Bachelor,
she is officially moving in with her boyfriend Thor, so
she posted on social media. Me and Thor are now roommates.
We'll see how that goes. The two of them moved
into a home in Las Vegas, but it really divided
the internet. So some people were saying, do not move

(00:30):
in with him because it will only prolong the phase
where he asks you to marry him. And then other
people are saying, it's smart to live together and see
how you live before you make that huge commitment. As
much as I agree that you should see how you
live together, I think you can still keep some place
that is yours in case things hit the fan. But

(00:55):
people are very divided on this, telling her like, do
not move in with him, because he will proposed to
you in a timely manner.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
So this guy, FYI, if you've never seen him, he
does not like he should be named Thor.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
He's not that guy. It's like if I were named Thor.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
That's a very bold name, Thor.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Yeah, it's a big thing to live up too. Yeah,
I want to talk about this because I actually do
believe you need to live with that person before you
get married. People are you think you know them, They
are different when you live with them. You need to
see how you feel with them in your space, in
your bathroom, in your bed, what their habits are. Some

(01:34):
you can change, some you cannot. My mother is a traditionalist.
For the first I don't know ten years of my twenties,
when I would bring a girlfriend home for Christmas, separate rooms. Yeah,
I turned thirty something and I said, mah, she said, yeah,

(01:55):
said I think I'm coming for Christmas this year. She
said great, I said, but I got to stay in
the same room as my girlfriend. So she changed so
thirty at thirty three years old, she figured she's going
to take what she can get, right, Like, I can't
be thirty three thirty five and sleep in separate places.
It's a long weekend. You need to have a little fun.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
You know.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
I can't oh with your parents though. Yeah, well there's
a really you know, you'd be very quiet.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
I know, I remember those days.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
So I feel like I'm with you because I feel
like you learn a lot about someone, Like there's only
so much you can tell a person, like, oh, I
like to have the dishes done before we go to sleep.
But when you live it, it's like a totally different thing.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Yeah, you gotta live it for I'd say a year,
you get six months, Yeah, a year.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
I mean it's true, sany.

Speaker 4 (02:44):
We did not live together when we dated, but when
we got engaged, he slowly started moving stuff in within
that year of our engagement, so I kind of got
a glimpse, Like.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
He put stuff in drawers and cabinets. Yeah, like he
like of his apartment. Lease.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
I think maybe you know, eight months still to go
to the wedding, and so he can.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
Yeah, he's basically moved in. Look, I understand both ways.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
My advice for someone who's never been married or may
never get married, live with them.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Before you get married, Live with them before you get married.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Are you hard to live with?

Speaker 3 (03:22):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (03:22):
I wonder if he's a.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
Heart Yeah, well it depends. What how do you define hard? Leang,
you leave.

Speaker 4 (03:29):
Your socks all rolled up in areas of the room
and the bathroom over the place willing to meet in
the middle.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Well, can I answer? I mean, I know it's not
my socks.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
My underwear stays trapped in my sweatpants and you have
to pull apart.

Speaker 4 (03:45):
My gosh, speaking of that, Michael does the same thing.
And the other day I'm filming a video for my
Instagram and I didn't even catch it until I've already
posted the video. His dirty boxers are in the background
of my video, and I'm like, can you like, like,
all his stuff is everywhere in the bathroom, So go.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
Take a look.

Speaker 4 (04:03):
You can see his boxers right there.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
He needs to grow out of boxers as well, box breeze,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Well, the hybrids are more important right now the stage
of life.
