these measurement rings?

She was like, Daddy knows, she's just like me.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
That's too many people in the bed. Are you supposed
to not let them come in?

I listen the twins. The twins did this, and we
would have two of them in the bed at the
same time. And they don't do it anymore. There's there's
seven and they don't do it anymore.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Well not mine, but there, no, I get it.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
But like you're pulling stuff out of the bucket for them?

Speaker 10 (03:18):
What about Seacrest Santa in the summer?

Speaker 6 (03:26):
Terrible? Come on, I don't think about Christmas yet.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
Teddy parents listening or students that are out for summer?
What do you want? What can I get you? What
can I get you to go?

Speaker 10 (03:36):
Do?

Speaker 1 (03:37):
That is me buying it or us buying it and
paying for it and giving it to you.

Speaker 9 (03:41):
Right, I like this.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
So sending your list of things.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
I can't get you a car every day, but sending
a list of things you might want.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
To go maybe we can, or maybe an boat. I
don't know.

Speaker 6 (03:53):
And the summer someone wins the car. I'm that's not confirmed.
I'm just throwing it out there.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
This is it this we're spitballing. It's a Friday.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
I thought this was kind of funny because Kelly Rippy said,
make fun of me for not being able to spell,
and I host you. We have a fortune where you
do have to spell things correctly. But it's not me.
It's my autocorrect.

Speaker 6 (04:14):
Once you accept the misspelling multiple times, it'll just continue
to misspell it.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
But it puts weird words in in the wrong places. Anyway.
There is something I read this morning.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
Yes, there is a report that found that Americans have
a list of most misspelled words that are most common.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
Do you have one mind's like tinerary can ever get it?

Speaker 2 (04:38):
I'm sure I have a bunch of them.

Speaker 6 (04:40):
The interesting there's a lot of like I before E
ones and I'm just like, it'll just auto correct it for.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
Me, eye before you accept after C.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
I know, I also just change, Like I can't spell psyched,
so I go stoked.

Speaker 6 (04:53):
Yeah, anything that's like a phys.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
Out of sorts, Like when I want to say, you know,
I'm psycho, it's.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
Like p h S y c O. No, it's just
p S.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Y is it?

Speaker 9 (05:09):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Okay, gosh, we had to have big degrees to have
these jobs. So anyway.

Speaker 3 (05:16):

Speaker 1 (05:21):

Speaker 3 (05:45):

Speaker 9 (05:58):

Speaker 1 (06:26):
It's s E. I read it. It's s E P
A R A t E.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
And to separate a different word.

Speaker 6 (06:37):
Like separate the clothing, and that's a separate topic.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
And number one misspelled word in this country by us definitely.

Speaker 6 (06:49):
Oh yes, number one for me for surely.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
It's interesting though, because you think neighbor hood, neighbor. I
can't get over that.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
One's fine, Yeah, but I I don't say any a.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
I g h boor hood.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
They also came up with the list of the most
challenging words for each state. Let's say California, Okay. Number
one misspelled word for Californians.

Speaker 4 (07:21):
Is bro bro bro b r u h.

Speaker 6 (07:32):
That's not even a word.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
I mean, it's like a slang word.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
It's not the word. Number one is appreciation.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
That's the number one misspelled word here, appreciation in California.
You're in California, Yeah, I already can't Number one in Arkansas, Casada.

waned over the years.

Speaker 11 (08:07):
Worse.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
It's Alex Warren. It's called ordinary.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
Who Mark told me, by the way, is from Carlsbad.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
Alex Warden Ordinary all that Carl's bad?

Speaker 3 (08:17):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (08:18):
Why is that such a fun fact? Mark? Because so
Cow I love that a lot.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
Of artists are from so calh and Mark, Mark, I
like that you hang on to these little, fun fast
facts in the music department of kisshouldn't you know this?

Speaker 2 (08:38):
No, I don't know where everyone's from.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
Where you should get the pedigree artists before we put
them on?

Speaker 6 (08:43):
You know what? Now you're going to have that knowledge
and you're going to tell somebody else and you fell cool?

Speaker 2 (08:48):
But you didn't who was right?

Speaker 1 (08:49):
Now? Let's see where am I going to be later?

Speaker 11 (08:52):
Where?

Speaker 3 (08:52):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (08:53):
I don't think.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
This is what Ryan does.

Speaker 6 (08:57):
He keeps these little facts and he throws them out
of dinner parties or when he's hanging out with friends.

Speaker 3 (09:03):
Somehow Alex Warren has not come up yet at a
dinner party.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
But when it does, it happens.

Speaker 6 (09:08):
When it does, you're gonna remember, Yeah, in my.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
Head, Hey, can we go back to some here. Yeah,
you know, we all know each other pretty well. Here
in the studio, it's just need Tanya myself. We get
to know each other really well.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
Yeah, they're back room.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
There's a lot of people back there that really make
the show come together. I mean they kind of have
to do the harder work, right, Like we'll come up
with an idea and then they got to go find
somebody that come on and talk about it. I don't
know how you do it, but you do it anyway.
So Mikayla sits next to Elsie Ruby. Next to Mikayla,
I don't see Alfonso yet. But Elsie, you said you

(09:46):
went to Miami for twenty four hours. Well done. You
had the chance to do it. Did you have to
have your this new ID, the real ID?

Speaker 9 (09:54):
No, So that was.

Speaker 7 (09:55):
Part of the risk that I took. I did not
have my real ID.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
How'd you do it?

Speaker 2 (10:01):
What did you take your passport?

Speaker 1 (10:02):
She got in the car road department.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
Don't have a pass part.

Speaker 8 (10:05):
Whoa, I know I'm slacking on it. I'm going to
get it this year for my birthday. That's my birthday gift.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
Oh how exciting?

Speaker 6 (10:12):
Uh for other things too?

Speaker 3 (10:18):
Yeah, ask for I would love that. All you get one?
How did you so explain to me what you did?
You don't have the real idea. You did not have
a passport? How'd you fly?

Speaker 7 (10:29):
I pulled up to the airport and I was like,
I don't have one?

Speaker 9 (10:32):
What do I do?

Speaker 3 (10:33):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (10:33):
You said it?

Speaker 8 (10:34):
Well, yeah, I was honestly kind of like trying not
to say it. But my boyfriend was the one that
was like telling on me, like she doesn't have one?

Speaker 7 (10:42):
What does she do?

Speaker 1 (10:43):
Wanted to go alone to Miami?

Speaker 11 (10:45):
What?

Speaker 8 (10:46):
No, he was just trying to look out for me.
But yeah, he was trying to see like, Okay, what
do I do if she doesn't have one? So, uh,
they just tested me like theyre trying to check. They
checked my hands and they checked my shoes. I know
that that's what they did to check if there was anything.

Speaker 3 (11:02):
Sus But you they checked your hands in your shoes
and they let you go without ID.

Speaker 8 (11:08):
Yeah, they give you a slip that says like if
you don't have your real ID, please get it soon.

Speaker 7 (11:13):
You may expect to lead.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
It was like a little slap on the wrist.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
Yeah yeah, I feel like they would have turned me down.

Speaker 10 (11:19):
I don't have my real ID.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
I have mine.

Speaker 7 (11:22):
It was a lot easier than I thought.

Speaker 6 (11:25):
So just give yourself plenty of time if you don't
have one, because you might have an extra pat down.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
Yeah okay, all right, well thank you yip.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
So Mikayla, your turn living vicariously through the new generation?
Here kiss that fat. I love it so Mudge, Mikayla
shed some light, Like if I were out with all
of you, you and your best of friends, and we
were wherever you guys go. What's the topic of conversation
these days?

Speaker 12 (11:52):
Oh, that's a good one. I mean we're always at concerts.
So last night we saw Alex Warren so speaking.

Speaker 1 (11:59):
You know, that's about that.

Speaker 9 (12:02):
You have to bring it up.

Speaker 4 (12:06):
He was great.

Speaker 12 (12:07):
But you know, we're just always talking about like plans.
A lot of my friends are single, so we just
love to do adventures, like this is my first weekend
back in La after four weeks. We've been traveling doing
something every weekend. So it's actually nice too. Every week
be in LA this weekend.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
What a life?

Speaker 1 (12:23):
Where did you? Where are these road trips?

Speaker 12 (12:24):
New York up North Sam?

Speaker 1 (12:30):
What is going on? Where's the travel budget?

Speaker 12 (12:33):
Yeah, weekend trips, you know, you just got to book
them in advance. And then Boston. Now I'm here and
you know, going to Angel City game tomorrow, so we
just Yeah, I downloaded the court app so now I'm
excited to use it this weekend.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
Well, all right, a lot going on there.

Speaker 3 (12:47):
There are also closer places than Boston to take a
little weekend trip.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
We'll send you a list.

Speaker 3 (12:52):
Ruby actually does this all research ideas. Yeah, spent some time.
We'll come back to you for what's going on in
your life later. Now, this is something that no one
told me we were going to really do here, so
I will allow y'all. This is one of those like
TBA at seven.

Speaker 6 (13:14):
Well, because I was earlier this week we were talking
about Netflix.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
We were yes, we were talking about to doom, to.

Speaker 6 (13:20):
Dolla, the sound that Netflix makes when you start Netflix
right right, do we have it? And then I asked you, guys,
have you ever experienced when you're watching a show on Netflix,
all of a sudden that sound will play like in
the middle of a show or sometimes even if like

(13:42):
you're on another server or another streaming service. It's just
I don't know. It just randomly plays sometimes. And someone
told me it means that that's like when new stuff
is dropping.

Speaker 3 (13:53):
I only hear that when I start a show on Netflix. Now,
there's also a connection to what Charome who's on the line,
who works at Netflix?

Speaker 9 (14:02):
Yes, Charome, because she.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
Was a director of independent films at Netflix.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
Right, Yes, So we were.

Speaker 10 (14:07):
Talking about it and you were like, Tanya, doesn't your
friend in the yellow dress from your wedding work on Netflix?

Speaker 2 (14:11):
And I was like, yes, she does.

Speaker 3 (14:13):
So let's call I find out about this too dumb
thing in the middle of the series, Charome.

Speaker 1 (14:18):
It's Ryan from Tiny's wedding. Hi, right, how are you?

Speaker 11 (14:24):
Why are you just laughing? I'm good? How are you?

Speaker 3 (14:27):
I am super good? Tell your boss he was hysterical
in the studio. I loved it. Ted is quite the actor,
wasn't He was really good?

Speaker 1 (14:39):
Yeah? Very good?

Speaker 3 (14:40):
So so love to Ted. Okay, So a couple of
things here. Sisney has this thing, but there's two things.
Do you know what they thought at the wedding? By
the way, is Henny well there.

Speaker 6 (14:54):
Was a moment where you and Ryan were chatting and
hanging out for a little bit, and then there was
another moment where neither one of you were seen at
the wedding. So then I went to Mark and I said,
look who's missing. They're not here. But then Ryan was gone, gone,

(15:14):
and you came back.

Speaker 2 (15:15):
To the wedding.

Speaker 3 (15:16):
So then they thought I stayed and you came back
after we were together but not together.

Speaker 11 (15:23):
Oh yeah, so they know about the fact that we
made out and then I came back.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (15:28):
I didn't tell them all the details.

Speaker 4 (15:32):
I was right.

Speaker 1 (15:33):
I loved how this was the conspiracy theory.

Speaker 2 (15:36):
It was a conspiracy theory, all right.

Speaker 6 (15:39):
So that happened, which, by the way, we all fully supported.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
Yeah, but now that I know this was happening in
your heads, we should have just walked away, all right.

Speaker 3 (15:50):
So it's so now Sistney thinks it in the middle
of because you work at Netflix, in the middle of
Netflix series shows, when you're watching or movie, if a
new Netflix thing drops whatever you guys call it, and
show open starts drops whatever they are released this year
releases that you will play that to them in the
middle of the show that you're watching.

Speaker 6 (16:12):
Is that true that to Doom has randomly played while
I've been watching other shows or even sometimes other streaming services.

Speaker 2 (16:21):
It's wild.

Speaker 11 (16:23):
I It's like not, I really don't think that that
happens at all. And now I'm a little worried about siciny, like,
I feel like you're you're randomly.

Speaker 6 (16:32):
Disappearing, maybe to watch too much Netflix.

Speaker 10 (16:36):
I've literally never heard it once, you guys.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
I'm go online. There's Reddit conversations with this.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
It happens to other.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
People, so that she's in charge of movies.

Speaker 6 (16:46):
They don't need to advertise to her when she's watching Netflix,
so they're they're picking people to play this to Doom. Yeah,
I've never heard it.

Speaker 11 (16:56):
I feel like that would be really disruptive.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
It doesn't happen a lot.

Speaker 6 (17:00):
I'm telling you, it's happened like one time in the
last couple of years.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
But it's happened.

Speaker 11 (17:07):
Well, let me, I will ask around and.

Speaker 3 (17:14):
A step in the right direction, ask around, ask aroun
All right, So we thought she was off and then
they also wanted to tell you that story about us
at the wedding, so.

Speaker 1 (17:23):
That was kind of a duel.

Speaker 2 (17:25):
Yeah, I was going to have confirmation on that as well.

Speaker 11 (17:31):
You know what I do think about often though, because
I did really like talking to Ryan. I thought you
were so fun to chat with. But the fact that
you travel was like a full on, like coffee setup.
I think about that.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
With this patcha mama and a machine.

Speaker 11 (17:52):
Yeah, was like talking about it like it was normal,
and I like, I like, I feel like I was
responding to it like there's normal. And then I left it.
My god, so intense, you know.

Speaker 3 (18:07):
I like to leave an impression, however it may be.
And talking about my fresh coffee beans and grinder while
I travel. It's a way in, you know. But I'm
glad that you think of that. I'm glad that you
think of that every now and then. It's flattering.

Speaker 11 (18:22):
Yeah, I think about that more than our secret makeout.

Speaker 3 (18:27):
You're not supposed to tell anyway, I think, Tanya, Robbie,
we're happy to all have dinner soon.

Speaker 1 (18:34):
Yes, let's do it.

Speaker 11 (18:36):
I would love that. It really wasn't just the best
wedding of all time, like it really was already been
a few months.

Speaker 1 (18:42):
I thought the officio was pretty good.

Speaker 10 (18:45):
You that you were amazing.

Speaker 11 (18:47):
It was you were really amazing. There wasn't a drya
in the house and you were so like you did
a really great job with that.

Speaker 6 (18:53):
Ryan.

Speaker 3 (18:54):
Do you think there's an independent film that could be developed?
So you're in charge of that, Netflix.

Speaker 11 (19:01):
Let's talk about it over Dinner's.

Speaker 3 (19:05):
Expensing, Ted Surrendo's he'll get the bill. Thank you so
much for coming in and clarifying that. So you are
hearing this in your head, Systney, that's the bottom line.

Speaker 6 (19:17):
No, she says she's gonna go ask around for me.

Speaker 1 (19:19):
Well she's not.

Speaker 3 (19:20):
She's just saying that. Dude's polite, all right, Kim, Thank
you from Netflix.

Speaker 11 (19:28):
Hye, guys, love you, Bye bye bye.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
Interesting thinks about the coffee.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
Huh told you first.

Speaker 9 (19:38):
I'm never wrong.

Speaker 3 (19:39):
So kind of hoping the show will go fast to
get to this and then we'll play match game for
Disneyland tickets. Uh. And then Mariah Carey, I mean tell you,
Mariah Carey's on the show today.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
Where have we been?

Speaker 6 (19:50):
Queen clean up?

Speaker 3 (19:51):
We need to make r mc Riah Carrey is coming in,
got a new track, and she's performing at our Ira
Radio Music Festival.

Speaker 1 (20:02):
A lot everybody. She's on after eight o'clock this morning.

Speaker 3 (20:06):
Yeah, kiss sisity, I've been excited to I don't know
why because I didn't read the article, but I had
to do something about dating and height, and I'm obviously
very comfortable at five to eight with my height.

Speaker 1 (20:20):
But what does it mean?

Speaker 6 (20:22):
So Tinder is rolling out this new feature that's got
everyone talking and they're testing a height filter. So basically,
if you're a Tender Platinum subscriber, so that's about forty
dollars a month, you can now set a minimum and
maximum height for potential matches. Mom, if I was on
the apps, I would totally pay forty bucks a month

(20:44):
to like funnel out the exact height.

Speaker 1 (20:47):
Would you put your height up there?

Speaker 2 (20:49):
Well, no, this is the height that you want for
a potential match. Yeah, okay, so your wish list.

Speaker 6 (20:54):
Like for me, I always wanted to be somebody those
six foot or taller.

Speaker 1 (20:59):
Don't care. That's just me.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
Some people do care about height, Okay, so keep going.

Speaker 1 (21:05):
I mean I think people might care about my height.

Speaker 10 (21:08):
I don't care about height.

Speaker 6 (21:10):
Tinder says they're trying this out how to help people
connect more intentionally, but not everyone's buying it. Some folks
are calling it superficial and discriminatory, while others say, hey,
other apps like Hinge already have this, but Tinder's new
CEO is trying to shake off the apps hookup heavy
image and appeal more to gen Z users looking for

(21:32):
meaningful connections. They don't want to be known as the
hookup app, which Tinder kind of has that reputation that
there's no like meaningful relationships that come out of Tinder.
You go to bumble, Hinge other apps for that. But
the height filter has sparked a lot of debate online,
and I think that it's just an interesting take. If
you know what you want, what's the point of like

(21:54):
meeting somebody, chatting with them, going out on a date,
and then when you get there, they're five to six
and you're like like five eight and you're like, I
will never.

Speaker 10 (22:03):
Because sometimes you don't know, ye like you don't know
what's best for you.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
Sometimes you know what you want, but sometimes.

Speaker 1 (22:12):
You don't don't care about the height.

Speaker 2 (22:15):
People care about the height.

Speaker 3 (22:18):
I have been asked in the past, do I mind
that said person is taller than I am, and especially
in heels, And I say, no, well you're different.

Speaker 6 (22:28):
But I have girlfriends that are like deal know, like
when they're looking through profiles, they'll be like, oh my gosh,
he's sitting down in all his pictures and that's for
a reason.

Speaker 2 (22:38):
You know, he's not comparing.

Speaker 6 (22:40):
It's a picture with him and all his bros.

Speaker 2 (22:43):
You can tell you with his bros.

Speaker 6 (22:45):
Thank you, because if it's a picture with his bros
and he's sitting down or they're all sitting down, he
doesn't have any standing pictures with his bros, then you
can see that there's a height.

Speaker 2 (22:56):
Not I don't say issue, but do you know so true?

Speaker 10 (23:04):
All of our wedding pictures are the proby and his groomsmen.
He's like in the middle, he's the shortest and all
his groomsmen are like towering over him.

Speaker 3 (23:11):
And why is that so funny? Like you're so excited
to say it, and I find it not so funny.

Speaker 9 (23:20):
He finds it funny too.

Speaker 3 (23:22):
Oh really, I think he's being nice to his wife.
Heat down inside. He cries at night when you're asleep
under your Harry Styles pillow?

Speaker 1 (23:35):
Over it?

Speaker 6 (23:36):
You should have did you incorporate the Harry Styles pillow
into the wedding?

Speaker 3 (23:42):
The naked uncle I couldn't get. The naked uncle story
was all I needed. And also, yeah, Harry's I was
told not to go like to because I think that's
the one guy that he does not like to hear about.

Speaker 2 (23:53):
It's good.

Speaker 1 (23:56):
Let's go match game Friday morning.

Speaker 3 (23:58):
We are moving it hopefully giving you some energy to
get to it.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
Okay, let's get to our two.

Speaker 3 (24:06):

you fill in the blank with what you think the
most common word will be for that blank, so that

(24:49):
the panel matches with your choice. Right, So you want
to pick the most obvious one, so the panel matches up.
Whoever gets some matches will win. We start with you, Maria.

Speaker 1 (24:59):
You're this is blue blank blue blank, just think it blue.

Speaker 10 (25:06):
I can't put that.

Speaker 2 (25:07):
I can't put well now, that's all I'm thinking about.

Speaker 5 (25:10):
Okay, well you stop, Okay, need a minute.

Speaker 3 (25:16):
Blue It's so easy, blue blank.

Speaker 1 (25:21):
Maria, What what did you say, Maria?

Speaker 6 (25:25):
I would say blue clue, blue clues.

Speaker 1 (25:30):
I like it.

Speaker 10 (25:33):
I said blue moon, like the beer.

Speaker 2 (25:39):
I said, ocean, blue ocean?

Speaker 9 (25:43):
What is it?

Speaker 1 (25:44):
Blues clues? That right?

Speaker 2 (25:45):
I mean she's adding the s to the Blue's fine? Ruby,
I said blueberry.

Speaker 3 (25:53):
Good for the brain, comes down to Jeffrey Tubbs, tubs,
blue sclues, blue gee, stinky, I.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
Like stinky cheese.

Speaker 3 (26:03):
All right, Maria, hold on, Lindsey, all you got to
do is get one to win. Yours is blank jelly,
blank jelly. I know what I would put. Okay, lindsay
what you said, red jelly, red jelly? All right, tiny

(26:30):
red jelly.

Speaker 10 (26:31):
I said strawberry jelly, isn't it?

Speaker 6 (26:36):
I also said strawberry jelly.

Speaker 13 (26:39):
I said strawberry jelly.

Speaker 1 (26:41):
Too, tubs grape jelly funny, I said sudden death. All right,
how's this work?

Speaker 6 (26:52):
You're each going to get a chance to say an answer,
and then whoever you match with with the most wins.

Speaker 10 (26:59):
So like mark the cup, everybody writes something down.

Speaker 1 (27:02):
Yeah, got it? Okay, got it?

Speaker 6 (27:04):
And you guys just think it at first, and then
Ryan's gonna come to you and say, Maria, what is
your word?

Speaker 2 (27:08):
Or are you? Lindsay what do you it's it?

Speaker 1 (27:10):
First?

Speaker 3 (27:10):
D okay, fine, we should write this up so we can.
Here we go, so in and okay, here we go,
both of you. This is your word?

Speaker 1 (27:20):
Play blank? Think of what it is? Play blank? Sudden death?
Play blank? Play what? Play blank? Play blank? Maria, what
do you say?

Speaker 11 (27:28):
Playground?

Speaker 1 (27:30):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (27:31):
Okay, lindsay what do you want to say?

Speaker 1 (27:35):
Lindsay, what'd you say?

Speaker 11 (27:37):
Play ten?

Speaker 1 (27:40):
All right, here we got the match. Did anyone say
either of those?

Speaker 6 (27:44):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (27:45):
Then we have a winner. All right, Tanya.

Speaker 10 (27:48):
I said playground?

Speaker 3 (27:53):
I said play ball, playbook, play bill?

Speaker 1 (28:00):
So who said playground? Maria?

Speaker 4 (28:02):
I did?

Speaker 1 (28:04):
Congratulations, Maria, you are going to seasday Land. I got
a four back? All right? Hold on.

Speaker 3 (28:10):
We appreciate you listening to us so much. Thank you, Yes,
I love you both. We are going to get the
headlines now, Tanya, what do you have you?

Speaker 1 (28:19):
FM headlines with Tanya.

Speaker 10 (28:20):
Rad An American Airlines flight to Dallas declared an emergency
shortly after takeoff and return to lax early this morning,
officials say it was a mechanical issue. The city of
San Bernardino approved a one year ban on all fireworks
sales in the city ahead of the fourth of July holiday,
so Cow regulators will vote today on two proposed regulations
to curb smog and lesson pollution. The rules would phase

(28:44):
out gas powered water heaters and furnaces. And the new
Lax Metro transit Center station opens today, giving travelers a
new car free option for getting to lax.

Speaker 3 (28:54):
Ry Kerrie is in the bill ding sunglasses or no sunglasses. Interesting,
I already saw her on the camera song glass all right,
so here we go Ryan next, now trending Tanya then
I pay a bill launch.

Speaker 10 (29:09):
So iconic fashion designer Rachel Zoe. She's in her new
era following her split from her husband, whom she'd been
with for thirty three years. So that's something that I
would like to talk about because I feel like, if
you're together for thirty three years, what happens after thirty
three Like, I feel like you'd have it figured out
by them. But that's not the point. Rachel is encouraging

(29:31):
all women to do two major things, she said, as
a woman in business and a mother, I will scream
at the top of Mount Everest if I have to
about how important it is for women to have their
own independence financially and socially. Women need to be able
to stand on their own no matter what, no matter
how in love they are or how great their life is.

(29:52):
If you can stand on your own, then you're in
a position of strength no matter what happens. And I
think it's a very important Messa, because I think I
know people who stay in relationships, stay in marriages because
they can't stand on their own two feet. They have
no idea what it would be like, so it's just easier.
And I feel like she's right. If you have those

(30:13):
two things, if you're independent financially and socially, you really
are in your relationship because you want to be. You're
both in there because you want to build something together,
not because you have to be. So I read this
from Rachel Zoe when I was just like salute girl, like, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (30:32):
I like Rachel Zoe. Fashion stylists brand, right, she got
it all, right.

Speaker 10 (30:39):
Yeah, see your own brand, designer, but yeah, stylist TV personality,
I mean she kind of does it all.

Speaker 1 (30:47):
Yeah, thirty three years.

Speaker 3 (30:51):
Right, Oh no, I mean, why'd you You made a point
of saying something, Well, they divorce.

Speaker 10 (30:57):
After thirty three years, and I'm like, what happens? I
feel like you'd.

Speaker 1 (31:03):
No. I think I think you grow.

Speaker 2 (31:05):
Apart, but then how do you grow together?

Speaker 1 (31:09):
Well, they're not growing together.

Speaker 10 (31:11):
I'm just saying in general, like at.

Speaker 3 (31:12):
That people do do that grow together? Yeah, yeah, and
that also grow apart.

Speaker 2 (31:18):
There's a balance.

Speaker 3 (31:20):
But she's they're getting a divorce, right yeah, yeah, yeah, okay.
So my point is I think sometimes you just say,
look this, we did a lot of great things together
and we're just different people and want different things, and
that's okay.

Speaker 6 (31:34):
Is this like your breakup script?

Speaker 3 (31:37):
Yeah, it's right now's to tiny and Robbie's vows on
my brief days.

Speaker 6 (31:42):
Dang, that's dark but well spoken. Yeah.

Speaker 10 (31:48):
I think.

Speaker 3 (31:49):
I think if you're honest and it's working and you're
growing together, great, But if you're also honest and saying, look,
we've had amazing love, but I just feel like we
want need other things.

Speaker 1 (31:59):
We're grown apart.

Speaker 9 (32:01):
It's okay, Yeah, it's okay.

Speaker 3 (32:06):
Like Mariah Carey is coming in next right, Yeah, we're
not gonna talk about this with her, but she's coming
in next and she's got new music. Royalty has arrived
here in the Kiss FM studio, Mariah Carey.

Speaker 1 (32:17):
It is so much person So, Mariah, there's a lot
to talk about.

Speaker 3 (32:23):
We know that you are going to be at our
magical festival, the Ihet Radio Music Festival.

Speaker 1 (32:28):
We made that announcement earlier this week. But have you
missed us?

Speaker 9 (32:32):
Of course I have?

Speaker 1 (32:33):
Yeah, And do you think about us often?

Speaker 9 (32:35):
Often?

Speaker 1 (32:36):
And what are those thoughts?

Speaker 9 (32:38):
I'm like, what's Ryan doing exactly? What is he doing
right now?

Speaker 1 (32:45):
I feel I feel.

Speaker 3 (32:46):
Like, well, I feel like we probably don't do the
same things. I feel like you start a little bit
later in your day normally, not.

Speaker 5 (32:52):
Today, not today expo.

Speaker 2 (32:57):
Okay, it's our.

Speaker 3 (32:58):
Schedule, but it's isn't that What time you told me
you like take swim lessons or something when you're doing
swim workouts.

Speaker 1 (33:05):
Didn't you tell me that.

Speaker 9 (33:06):
I've been doing swim work outs again. I'm glad you remember.

Speaker 1 (33:09):
That I do it because I remember you told me
you do them sort of late.

Speaker 5 (33:12):
Oh I did do them late, but you know, we
got to twist the schedule. However, it's going to work
the best.

Speaker 3 (33:17):
Yeah, I got you, well, you got a lot on
your on your plate, I have to say. And we've
known each other for a long time and had a
chance to work together in different places and do live
shows together. And I have seen fans and I know
that you see this all the time, but fans are
not just fans like we meet.

Speaker 1 (33:36):
A lot of people have fans.

Speaker 3 (33:37):
When I see people react to you, it is a
work and I use this term it is a worship.
There is a real worship that people who love you
have for you. And is it because that you've been
a part of their lives for a long time?

Speaker 1 (33:55):
Is it because all of the songs they relate to?

Speaker 3 (33:58):
I mean, what do you think that extra connection is
when you see them and meet them?

Speaker 5 (34:04):
Wow, I don't know, it's it's it's pretty mind bottling though,
because you know, when I see fans that are I've
seen them over the years time and time again, and
then some new fans that are, you know, even like
just now there was a thirteen year old girl that
came up here to meet me and I signed her purse.

Speaker 9 (34:27):
It was really sweet.

Speaker 3 (34:29):
But yeah, I have a list of I mean, I
have the best selling female of artists of all time
on this list here, and I'm looking at all of
your hit songs and it's impossible to play them all
within like I think we've played them all back to
back would take months. But I've seen people with you

(34:50):
and it's funny because I remember one instance.

Speaker 1 (34:52):
I don't know if you remember this.

Speaker 3 (34:54):
We were out in a public situation one of the
shows we were doing, and someone got very excited you
were there, and they ran over with their phone to
take a picture and I got next to you to
smile and take a picture with you with them as
if they want a picture of me too, and they
asked me to hold their camera to take picture of you,
not for me to be in it. And I thought

(35:14):
that was one of the Yeah, I thought that was
one of those fun moments, you know, to see as
people just love you. And you've got a new song
out that is out today called Type Dangerous.

Speaker 1 (35:26):
It is new music.

Speaker 3 (35:29):
You're going to hear this probably at our iHeartRadio music festival,
which is coming out. I'm going to play the whole
thing here in just a second, But tell me about
making this song.

Speaker 5 (35:39):
Well, it's samples one of my favorite all time favorite records,
Eric Bet and Rock Cam Eric be's president. And I've
done a lot of sampling and rewriting songs, but this
is a really special one for me. It's just one
of my always been one of my favorites. The original song.

(36:04):
So then we, you know, we got together and wrote
some more and did a melody, and here we have
Type dangerous.

Speaker 1 (36:14):
So let me play a little clip and they'll play
the whole thing. We come back. Just what she's talking about.
What's in the background. There's that sample that's Mariah. It's
a new track is coming up.

Speaker 3 (36:29):
The whole thing, Mariah Carey, new music from MC and
here she is. She so excited when you hear, like
if you would have been in your car and I
know you probably just listened to kiss in the other stations,
do you have a moment when you hear your music still?

Speaker 9 (36:46):
I definitely have a moment. It's so exciting.

Speaker 5 (36:49):
I mean, it's like what I've started out doing and
to be able to still do it is you know,
it's a big deals for me.

Speaker 3 (36:57):
Do you So I'm listening to the lyrics type dangerous?
Are you playing you? Or are you playing a character?
When you are singing some of these lyrics?

Speaker 9 (37:07):
Kind of a character kind of me and kind of
a character.

Speaker 1 (37:13):
And are you do you like dangerous things in your life?

Speaker 5 (37:16):
Are you?

Speaker 1 (37:16):
Are you like an adventure seeker?

Speaker 5 (37:20):
I am when it's like a rollercoaster or something like that.

Speaker 9 (37:24):
You know, we can leave it at.

Speaker 3 (37:25):
That, but when it comes to when it comes to
people in your life, do dangerous people interest you?

Speaker 9 (37:33):
It really worked for the song, ye right, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (37:36):
I just thought, wow, it does you put yourself into
that role and it makes sense. And when you perform
live and you do a show, I mean, obviously you're
going to do this. This is new music for you,
it's out today, But when you do a show, how
do you decide your set list?

Speaker 1 (37:53):
Because it's like endless?

Speaker 5 (37:56):
Well, let's say the past couple don't know, more than
a couple of months. We had this The Adventure, not
the Adventures of mem that was another incarnation of it.

Speaker 9 (38:11):
But you know, for for what did I call it?
What the hell? Emancipation?

Speaker 1 (38:18):
Theipation twenty years?

Speaker 5 (38:20):
Yeah, twenty years and twenty yeah, So we had this
what do you call it? When you're doing the anniversary shows?
And you know, so that was that was cool because
people knew the songs and people at home were having
their own parties to the Mimi songs and it was
just something that made me really happy.

Speaker 1 (38:40):
Well, does I mean shake it off? I'm just trying
to think of, well, we believe.

Speaker 9 (38:43):
I don't like that we be by the way.

Speaker 3 (38:45):
By the way, do you know whose song we Belong
Together is? It's a lot of people's song, But do
you know there's a happy couple whose song it is?

Speaker 1 (38:52):
And I was with them, uh, and.

Speaker 3 (38:54):
They're you know them well, you know him well, and
they're about to have a big ceremony. And I love
that song so much that I played it three times
in a row when we're all together. Do you know
Benny and Kirk, Benny Medina and Kirk.

Speaker 5 (39:09):
Oh?

Speaker 9 (39:10):
I did not know that me.

Speaker 1 (39:12):
Have you met Kirk?

Speaker 9 (39:13):
I probably have met. Yes, I know. I've met Benny
many many times.

Speaker 1 (39:18):
Of course I know this.

Speaker 3 (39:19):
So we were together in the car and I was
playing your music because I like it on my playlist,
and Benny said to me, this is Kirk to my song.
So I thought, knowing at least one of them, you
might want to know that that's the song that they.

Speaker 1 (39:37):
Yeah, that's just the song that is. You know, you like,
what's your song?

Speaker 3 (39:40):
Like, what's an artist to think when you said this
is my song but not your song?

Speaker 1 (39:43):
Who's an artist do you think about it?

Speaker 3 (39:47):
Have a song you like to play? This is not
I know you play you all the time at home,
but if it's not you, but is there is? Do
you have like a song or an artist that just
like makes you melded you love? You know?

Speaker 5 (40:02):
It's it's sad because it's a lot of like throwbacks
of people who aren't with us anymore. Yeah, you know,
like there's so many great Jackson songs.

Speaker 9 (40:10):
Michael Jackson, you know this is this is.

Speaker 1 (40:14):
The one I was talking to.

Speaker 3 (40:19):
You can understand why I could become someone's song. So, Mariah,
we know we're going to see you in September. We
will get people tickets to that. It's our iHeartRadio Music Festival,
which is away a lot of fun for us because
we get a lot of different things going on, all
different styles and genres of music.

Speaker 1 (40:37):
You've got this new single.

Speaker 3 (40:39):
Tell me what else we don't know about what's on
your calendar for the next year or so?

Speaker 1 (40:44):
That might be exciting.

Speaker 5 (40:47):
Oh boy, well, I'm traveling all around the land and
that's I guess that could be exciting.

Speaker 9 (40:55):
That's for the for the Mimi album.

Speaker 5 (40:57):
But also I'll be doing type dangerous because it's a
brand new song and I want to, you know, people
to hear it. And yeah, I mean doing the different
moments in terms of like, Okay, here's my here's my
brand new song. But I'm gonna do it with like
you just played weebel on together. It's like that something

(41:19):
that is familiar to people with something that's brand new.

Speaker 1 (41:24):
Always love having you. Thank you for coming Ryan.

Speaker 5 (41:26):
I enjoyed you profusely. Everybody, Thank you so much. Ryan Seacrest,
love you dearly, See you real soon.

Speaker 1 (41:34):
Big hugs.

Speaker 3 (41:35):
Okay, okay, okay, So should we do the weekend watch this?

Speaker 1 (41:38):
I guess so, let's know. I'll pay bill next the
weekend watch list. Just watch go all right, Sicity, we can.

Speaker 6 (41:47):
Watch us so excited for this. Ginny and Georgia Season
three on Netflix. Teenage Ginny and her family yearned to
put down roots in a picturesque New England town after
years on the run.

Speaker 2 (42:00):
That's the plot of this entire series.

Speaker 6 (42:03):
But the way season two ended with such a cliffhanger
that I just cannot wait for season three. So it
is all ten episodes actually dropped last night on Netflix.

Speaker 2 (42:13):
That's going to be my weekend watch.

Speaker 1 (42:15):
List, Tanya, what's on your weekend watch list?

Speaker 10 (42:18):
Well, mine is actually my summer watch list because Love
Island USA and Love Island UK are on.

Speaker 2 (42:25):
Peacock and Hulu.

Speaker 10 (42:26):
We have a brand new batch of Islanders in both places,
and basically fifty five episodes of USA started airing on
tuesdam Peacock and then forty nine episodes of UK start
up next week. So if they're doing them at the
same time, they always do, but usually one's better than
the other, so I'm excited to see which one's better

(42:47):
this summer.

Speaker 1 (42:48):
Okay, and Ruby, what's it your weekend watch list?

Speaker 13 (42:50):
Mine is Fight for Glory, the twenty twenty four world
series on Apple tv Plus. So it basically follows The
Yankees are Boys in Blue. You get a lot of
behind the scenes and it's really really good, also very emotional.
I just started it, but it's really good. Three episodes
out now on Apple tv Plus.

Speaker 3 (43:08):
I still like Mobland Moblandland one with Mom Bland.

Speaker 1 (43:11):
Yeah, this is one where I don't know some paramount showtime.

Speaker 3 (43:14):
One of us and Pierce Brosnen halmeron it's very good.

Speaker 1 (43:17):
Uh my mail crush.

Speaker 3 (43:18):
Tom Hardy and I just started this show called Euphoria.

Speaker 11 (43:23):
So.

Speaker 6 (43:25):
Welcome to the party.

Speaker 1 (43:27):
Someone recommended it and I just started.

Speaker 2 (43:30):
I don't call it a new show.

Speaker 1 (43:31):
Yeah it's not new, but it's new to me. You
know what they like?

Speaker 3 (43:35):
They roll into you're just scrolling on. You know what
people talk about this show. I've never seen it.

Speaker 10 (43:39):
I tried past the first episode.

Speaker 2 (43:42):
Yeah, it's it's very dark. It get's darker.

Speaker 3 (43:45):
Oh gosh, all right, guys, that's it. We did it
Friday broadcast. Thank you for listening to us. Back up
Monday with another Ryan's Roses and Disneyland tickets. Love it
got so many plus. If you do any of these
things at that jam, you're getting on people's nerves. I
was told I did this by somebody, so got it.
I make too much noise when my headphones in, when

(44:07):
I grunt at the gym, and when I breathe out
with noises like tennis players do when they hit the ball.
But thank you for pointing it out person in gym
top three.

Speaker 6 (44:17):

Speaker 1 (44:22):

Speaker 1 (44:29):

Speaker 3 (44:30):
I'm doing armed presses, Arnold Palmer presses doing gargle.

Speaker 1 (44:41):

Speaker 3 (44:42):
