Speaker 1 (00:00):
Tanny with a trending report.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
It's been a booked and busy few years for Chapel Roone,
and so many people have been asking when her second
album is coming, after all the success of her first,
The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess. So she says,
there is no album, there is no collection of songs.
It took me five years to write this one, and
it's probably going to take at least five to write

(00:23):
the next. I'm not that type of writer that can
pump it out. And she's getting a lot of advice
to kind of strike while the iron is hot, but
she says she doesn't make good music when she forces
herself to do anything, so she's taking her time on
this one. But I feel like there is something to
the momentum theory, like strike while the iron is hot.

(00:45):
You're hot right now, like let's keep it going versus
taking five years to put out another album and then
who knows, in five years people might forget or you know.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
But think about I mean, it is amazing to me
artists who write songs anyway, because it comes out of
thin air. And this is amazing to me. The artists
who can write songs fast like look at Ryan Tetter
one Republic. Ryan Tetter writes these songs like every day
goes to work, basically goes to his office rights hit
like he could just do it. I gotta go to
obvist day, I gotta write a couple of hits and
I'll be back home see it tonight, I see you later.

(01:18):
I mean, that's what he does. So it's hard to do.
But when you're an artist, momentum is a tricky thing.
It can be a cur You don't want to get
too engaged and obsessed with thinking about momentum when you've
got to create something. On air with Ryan Seacrest, Ice Cubes,
Big Three is coming live to Dallas this Sunday with
the championship in the balance, plus the celebrity game, Lance Stevenson, Dwight.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Howard, Glenn Rice, Junior, Montes, Harrold, Michael Beasley, and Moore.
