Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's Ryan Seacrest with you. Thanks for having us on.
Tanya say, have you heard about this? She's walking backwards?

Speaker 2 (00:07):
I have.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
I have told her that this price is not the
safest thing for.

Speaker 4 (00:10):
Her to do, especially because she loves like on a
street that's like very slanted.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
Are you doing this on a treadmill or outside on.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
The side in the wild. I don't have a treadmill,
so everything I do is out in the wild. But
I've gotten very into walking over the last like six months,
and even concept I know, but I feel like walking
is really of the moment, by.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
The way people don't walk in and since we've been
on this planet.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Okay, no, no, no, but I feel like walking your
ten thousand steps, I feel like now people are really
paying attention to it more.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
You see, it's not ten thousand that was a whole market.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Seven seven, whatever. But now I've implemented walking backwards because
it it kind of hits different muscles and just kind
of different parts of your legs than when you walk forward.
And also think it helps you to coordination. But I
look so I probably look so wild to people as

(01:05):
they're driving by when I'm walking backwards up to my house.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
So I see people do this at the gym.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Yeah, and I have to admit I've done it before myself,
and I think it's more than just, you know, the
new muscles. It's really about the brain because you're having
to think a little bit.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
More and focus.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
And I think that you probably get more out of
it because you have to rewire your thought process a.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
Little bit more with your movement, and that is a
good thing.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
So there you have it.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
You are on air with Ryan Seacrest.

Speaker 4 (01:32):

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
