Speaker 1 (00:00):
From Hollywood to you.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Thank you for listening to us.
Speaker 1 (00:05):
Air on air with Ryan Seacrest.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
New Taylor Music. We tracked all the Tailor music when
it came out. So today it's one of two point
seven Swift FM. I love that it is Swift FM.
Now we're looking at all these different Taylor tracks. I
have a new one every single hour this morning, then
Issney all day, huh all.
Speaker 3 (00:29):
Day long, and we'll be even speeding it up even
more throughout the day. A couple Taylor songs an hour.
We'll do some of her greatest hits as well.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
And Taylor Svan released day today and all weekend Swift
FM celebrating the life of a show girl. And now
you know, we'll talk about this lady. But they're starting
as we have mentioned, we touched on this before, but
the Taylor Swift classes at colleges. Yeah, new class that's
coming out called the Taylor Swift Phenomenon. But it's interesting.
It's not just about Taylor, it's about cultural impact.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
So that's yeah, we'll get into it.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
We'll get into that this morning. But Taylor moving mountains.
She really is awesome.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
One hundred million albums sold, the first female to do that.
They're expecting that she's going to sell another three million
just today in this weekend.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
With this album, she'd be president. I think that we
could get.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
Behind totally at this rate.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
I would think she could win, like literally, if she won,
she'd win both parties.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
Yes, hundred press.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
I think she would, you know.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
I mean, what a time to be alive, guys.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
Yeah, liter Life of a Showgirl. In a little bit,
we're gonna do the Fates of Ophelia that's coming up. Wishlessness.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
Yes, and so many people are going to the theaters
to watch her Life of a Showgirl movie.
Speaker 1 (01:49):
I guess it's more like a doctor work. I'm going.
I'm going with like twenty people later to this evening.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
I love that we are coming back Kissed Pacer Bills.
It is Friday, partly today all weekend. Two can be nice.
Seventies and eighties, Rachel, thank you for listening to us.
How you do it? Hi?
Speaker 4 (02:07):
Good, I'm gonna talk to you guys.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
Well, it's good to have you on. So we're here,
all of us are ready. We heard that you were promoted.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
That's great.
Speaker 4 (02:17):
Yeah, yeah, exciting.
Speaker 5 (02:19):
I was promoted.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
But it's caused some a little bit of tension.
Speaker 5 (02:23):
It's caused a little bit of drama. Okay, Well, basically,
my best work friend is now acting super weird towards
me because I got promoted over her and we never
really discussed that there was a promotion up and like
I'm guessing she also applied, and now she's being super
weird towards me and you guys. On top of this,
I'm her manager now and now it's just like so awkward.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
So yeah, why did you get the promotion over your friend?
Speaker 3 (02:49):
Really good? I guess.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
Okay, well, we don't say that to her.
Speaker 5 (02:53):
Probably, No, We're totally not saying that to her.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
It's not your fault that you got promoted, right.
Speaker 5 (03:00):
I've been doing a good job and working here for
years and she's great too. But I think it's probably
to choice.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
But did a greater job? I mean, if she's upset,
say you should have been greater?
Speaker 5 (03:13):
What do I still want to be friends with her?
Speaker 2 (03:15):
Though?
Speaker 3 (03:16):
What do I do?
Speaker 2 (03:16):
Well, here's the thing. This is something that if you
truly have a good friend, your friend would take the
promotion over you and be in this situation too if
it were her opportunity. I'm guessing, so I think you
need to just break through the ice on this and
just sit down and say, look, this happened, this is
(03:38):
the way it is. We both work hard, we both
try our best. We can't let this get in the
way of our friendship. If there's anything you want to
talk about, this is you too, your friend, anything you
want to talk about, let's just do it all now.
I move on. And if she can't handle that, she's
not a great friend.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
I think that's great advice.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
If she's a great friend, she'll say I'm happy for you.
You You see if those words come out I'm happy
for you. People are not happy for you, are not
your friends.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
And she may come around because maybe the initial shock
was you know, it sucked, and so she's dealing with it.
But if you need to sit down and have that conversation,
because then she can realize you're right.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
You can't. I can't be upset about this.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
I want to hear her say I'm so happy for you.
Speaker 6 (04:20):
And maybe she can help you get a promotion down
the lines. Somehow she Rachel got promote. I'm saying you
can help her get the promotion.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
That maybe you have the power to promote when you
get your next promotion, honest, put it on the table,
Put on the table, get it out. And if she's
a good friend, she's so happy.
Speaker 3 (04:42):
And you need to be happy for yourself too, Rachel.
Don't let this drag you down.
Speaker 5 (04:47):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 6 (04:48):
I am fire.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
It's an option. I'm just weighing options. Thanks for listening
to us, Rachel. Good luck with this. Congratulations on your promotion.
Thanks you all right, bye bye. I think of us
every time we do anything. In addition to this, elsewhere
in the world of work, we're always hay for each
(05:15):
look so supportive. All right now, Ruby and Tanya, what
did you try? What tip that we gave you? Did
you try for sleep? That didn't work?
Speaker 6 (05:22):
So I was having total restless sleep, which is very
uncommon for me, and my or ring actually told me
that when I woke up, so it shows that it's accurate. However,
I was tossing and turning, tossing and turning, and I
remember this hack or was it a hack? It was
from sysney, right?
Speaker 3 (05:37):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (05:37):
No, it was a it was a yeah, okay, so
there's no blame.
Speaker 3 (05:42):
It was a wida, which is what what's everyone talking about?
Speaker 2 (05:45):
Everyone talking about? She calls him w eta.
Speaker 1 (05:47):
It's just easier.
Speaker 3 (05:48):
It's a weeda. So it's just easy for us to
communicate about, like goo to do your wada for.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
Tomorrow because we're busy. Okay, we're so rush. Go ahead.
Speaker 6 (05:55):
So she said, if you're having trouble sleeping, take yourself
on a imaginary walk in your head, walk mental walk,
walk your street, take the dog walk, cast your neighbor's house.
And so I did this, and I was going down
my block, around the park and back up the street
and around and around, and I could not fall asleep.
Speaker 3 (06:18):
You weren't doing it to detail. I'm telling you this
worse detail. It's about every single detail. It's about tying
your shoelaces, looking up, putting the key in the keyhole
to lock the door in the house, then walking down
your porch, then walking down.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
You can't just like see the neighbor's house.
Speaker 3 (06:34):
The key.
Speaker 2 (06:34):
I'm picturing the key. It's an old castle key, like
an ancient key and a little and a little tassel.
Speaker 7 (06:43):
Sposed to be your reality, like you when you actually
go the WoT.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
It doesn't have to be your reality. It could be. Yeah,
you can make it more fairtale.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
You can be like I'm at the beach, but you
have to like get yourself to the beach.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
How did you get to the beach? Did you get
in your car?
Speaker 3 (06:55):
You drove there, then you you looked for parking, you
parked the car, and then you got onto the boardwalk,
and you know, it's like it needs to be so detailed.
Speaker 7 (07:02):
Yeah, I was going pretty fast. Like it was almost
like I was there's.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
No excuse, should have slept Ruby, What happen with you?
Why didn't it work for you?
Speaker 8 (07:08):
Mine was similar to I think it happened the same
night because the next day me and Tanya were both like,
oh my god, we couldn't sleep. But I actually try
to visualize myself walking to like my local coffee shop.
So I was like, okay, which probably that's why I
couldn't sleep, because it's you're.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
Going to get coffee. You're going to get caffeine to
wake you up, which is stimulating your brain.
Speaker 8 (07:28):
Yeah, but it didn't work, but I'm gonna I'm gonna
try it again in more detail.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
I'm telling you, when I do this, I am asleep
by the time I get to the end of my street.
Speaker 2 (07:37):
It's exhausting, exhausty. I'm just yeah, you can't dream my coffee.
That's like baking cookies and not wanting to be hungry,
but the smell of the cookies in the oven doesn't work.
I know. I realized that now to a little late
freeways should elongate your weekend. How do you make it
feel longer? It's all into mind next to kiss. So
(08:00):
tonight feels great, right, it's Friday night. Tonight is good,
Tomorrow morning feels good. But soon enough you start getting
Monday on the mind. And I was thinking about this.
I'm fine with saying to you. I like to look
forward to things at the end of the week. I
like to say, oh, yeah, today's Monday, get to Tuesday.
Now it's Wednesday, start planning Friday whatever. I like. That
works for me. Yeah, I'm always looking forward, but I'm
(08:23):
trained to say coming up next, in a minute, five
minutes from now, ten minutes, all the way, like that's
my life.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
Ye like that, right? What are we doing tomorrow?
Speaker 2 (08:30):
Coming up? What are we doing? We're at lunch? What's
your dinner? It's the DNA inside me right Anyway, I
thought this is kind of ishsing the ways to elong
get your weekend to make it feel longer. Who wouldn't
want to? Everybody do your weekend chores during the week,
All right, how do you do that? You got to
(08:51):
figure out some efficiencies. But if you can get your
weekend chores during the week done, so that takes out
some time on the week because I like to push
stuff into the weekend. But if you can. Last night
I went through and did some things in my closet
I was going to do this weekend, but I did
it last night, thinking to bed as early. But I
did it last night because I don't want to do
it this weekend. Yeah, I read that. I read this
(09:13):
last night, so I Friday number two, wake up earlier
every day. I did do that today too, only eight minutes,
but it was eight minutes. But in the eight minutes,
I went out, started my coffee, and by the time
my alarm would normally go off, my coffee was ready.
So the eight minutes actually saved quite a bit this
morning because I have my coffee while I got ready.
(09:35):
Set it after number three. Other one is the third one.
To make your weekend seem longer, make plans for Friday
night so when your Saturday rolls around, you still feel
like you have two weekend days left.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
That is the best feeling ever your thing on Friday.
Speaker 3 (09:51):
Waking up Saturday morning is like, whoo, whole weekend.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
Don't do stuff on Saturday.
Speaker 7 (09:57):
Night, I know, flip it.
Speaker 3 (09:58):
Oh when someone has to what tries to make plans
on a Saturday night because then it's Sunday. Yeah, You're like,
it's Sunday.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
And I find it difficult to push through on Friday
sometimes because I'm tired from the day mm hmm. But
if you do want to do something, it's always nice
to have more runway after.
Speaker 1 (10:13):
Don't you have that adrenaline on Friday?
Speaker 2 (10:15):
I do, you know. I try and trick myself and
then I sit down for something to eat, and some
guy sits on my forehead like the weight of him,
and I feel it, you know, I feel like I'm
just behind my eyes get tired. You ever feel like
the man sitting on your head? Yeah, that's the weight
of that. Here today's quote you have to stop prioritizing
(10:39):
being loved by others over the love you have for yourself.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
Good one, What can you just stop prioritizing? It starts
with you you have for yourself.
Speaker 3 (10:52):
FM headlines with sy Well a fire broke out at
Chevron's Elsa Gunda refinery last night, but ian how fire
crew contained it before it's spread. Governor Gavin you Some

Speaker 2 (11:27):

and it is National Boyfriend Day. Celebrate your boyfriend today,
adorable d What can you do that's cute for your
boyfriend today? Don't not celebrate this because I didn't even
know it was a thing. But you know what, it
gives you a reason to celebrate your boyfriend. Yeah, you
(11:50):
want National Boyfriend Day. Maybe your boyfriend likes a certain snack,
like for me, cookies. I like cookies. If I was
being celebrated as a boy friend today on National Boyfriend Day,
my girlfriend might get me warm chocolate chip cookies.
Speaker 6 (12:05):
With saltan not a Smores cookie, He's not Amores cookie.
Speaker 2 (12:10):
Yes, Smores dude. You also might want to go to
the movies. Maybe your boyfriend wants to go to the
movies because your boyfriend likes the snack of a popcorn
at the movies. And this makes sense La Taco dot Com.
I was talking to Hobby here the other day, thanks
for the foot me his number right to call him,
buy some tacos, and uh he runs La Taco dot com. Anyway,
(12:30):
he put together the best movie theater popcorn in La
So listen to this. I got five. If you go
to the movies, it's the best popcorn at the movies.
I was gonna go see that Leo DiCaprio movie. But man,
is it long?
Speaker 1 (12:44):
It looks so good?
Speaker 2 (12:46):
How much I know is mark? How long is it?
Two hours?
Speaker 1 (12:50):
Fifty minutes?
Speaker 2 (12:51):
Yeah, I might wait for the stream. Three hours looks awesome. Uh,
it looks great. What's it called? It's called one battle
after an hour?
Speaker 3 (13:00):
That one that one one battle after another for three hours,
three hours?
Speaker 2 (13:05):
So I don't know, that's mine.
Speaker 3 (13:07):
Titanic was three hours and we all saw that in
the theaters.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
Yeah, remember you came into VHS takes.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
That was back in the day when you had nothing
to do, because there's only theaters. Now I can stream,
so I'm kind of wait, three hours, fifteen.
Speaker 7 (13:19):
Minutes, I could have taken more.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
I have you called him patients, but I have I
don't know. Yeah, what do you call it a hurry
up mode? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (13:30):
You have a time limit, I do.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
I really do.
Speaker 1 (13:34):
Thirty minutes and then you're you got to keep moving
the next thing.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
To see a movie, but I also like watching. I know,
I go into the theaters is awesome too, but for
three hours, I'd rather probably be on my couch anyway.
Here are the best popcorns in lat Number five me
Lagro Cinemas on Pioneer in Norwalk. They have a toppings
bar for your popcorn. Smart, messy, but smart. It's all
(13:59):
over you. But that's why you have to get.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
It that they're created. They like sliced hale apenno. Stop
at the old hot sauce.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
But you can't. I just jump it in my mouth anyway.
I don't use my fingers horse like. I could never
share popcorn with you. Why would we share a popcorn?
Speaker 3 (14:14):
I'm a shafer. I don't want a whole popcorn. I
would love to share, like I don't know certain people.
Speaker 7 (14:20):
Well, you get a little box and you pour a little.
Speaker 1 (14:23):
Into the box. That's different. We're not sharing that what
I'm saying, he's eating it out of his in his mouth.
Speaker 2 (14:29):
I dump it like I drink, you know, the allo water.
I drink out of the jar from the fridge. I
do the same thing. I know, I know how you
eat So vidiots Inegle Rock. Vidiots in Egle Rock. This
is another best popcorn spot, San Monica Boulevard. Popcorn super
fresh and they coat it with real butter. It's not
as salty. I do find that some popcorn is too
salty at.
Speaker 1 (14:49):
The theater, Yes, and that gets annoying.
Speaker 2 (14:52):
So if you're going to see a movie the Landmark
New Art Theater in West La real butter, less salt.
They say it's better than the other Landmark theaters. So
Los Felis. These are the best popcorns, as ranked by
La Taco dot com. H Los phelis three less us,
A small bag is three seventy five is the Jess option.
They found it's imitation butter, but it tastes just as good.
(15:16):
What is what is in imitation Butter, I don't know,
I probably want to know. And the number one best
popcorn in La. The New Beverly Center. I'm Beverly. Guess
who owns it. Quentin Tarantino owns the theater.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
Oh, the Beverly Cinema.
Speaker 2 (15:34):
He owns the theater and they have warm, velvety clarified Butter.
I think that's better for you.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
Yeah, I want to go to there. I want to
check it out.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
The New Beverly Cinema. They have the best popcorn in La.
That's what La Taco dot com says. I'll on Quentin

Speaker 6 (16:10):
So, if you weren't watching the summer, I turned pretty
this summer. I don't know what you were doing, because
it was my entire timeline.
Speaker 1 (16:18):
Week for week.
Speaker 6 (16:19):
Yes, literally my entire timeline. But the biggest takeaway was
were you Team Jeremiah or Team Conrad? And it felt
like the entire world was team Conrad, minus the very
few smart ones who were Team Jeremiah. You were Team
Jeremiah too, was ah okay, so you'll really appreciate this
(16:40):
as well. What Jaylaw said about her stance is exactly
how I felt. She said, I have been ordered by
all of my friends to not reveal this, but I
am team Jeremiah.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
I am.
Speaker 6 (16:51):
I think that Conrad is toxic. He kind of liked Belly,
but then didn't He left her hanging for him to confess.
Speaker 7 (16:57):
His love for her the night before her wedding.
Speaker 1 (16:59):
Is sick, awful.
Speaker 7 (17:00):
I am Team Jeremiah.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
Rake me over the cool.
Speaker 2 (17:03):
It is awful. It is, Yes, Tinny, your mouth is
wide open.
Speaker 7 (17:07):
Because everyone was Team Conrad.
Speaker 6 (17:09):
I got so much hate for being Team Jeremiah, and
I'm like, we are out there, We're just being told
we can't say we're team Jeremiah.
Speaker 2 (17:18):
Don't like that?
Speaker 3 (17:19):
Yeah, I feel like he really has always genuinely loved her.
And then how do you go from Jeremiah back to Conrad.
That was my whole thing, and not the fact that
I don't want to spoil it for anybody.
Speaker 2 (17:32):
Well, this is part of the clip season.
Speaker 7 (17:33):
I mean, if not, this is a TV show, all right.
Speaker 2 (17:37):
I don't know it. Clip season is in real life
and fiction.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
I just think it's so messy now with how it ended.
Speaker 7 (17:43):
So messy.
Speaker 2 (17:45):
Have you finished The Black Rabbit anybody?
Speaker 1 (17:47):
No, I'm still halfway in.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
We're gonna get in a watch list.
Speaker 7 (17:49):
We started it.

because that's what the panel will probably put in their blank.
And the more matches you get, the better y are,
(19:01):
because that's how you win. Say. Okay, what'd you say? Card?
Wild Card? That's what SNY is wild Card? All right, Sidney,

Wild horse? Never mind? Anyway, my brain slept today. All right,
let's get to tany What you say.
Speaker 7 (19:33):

All you got to do is get two, then you win.
Yours is green blank, green blank. The match game always
so much fun. I really get to understand the panel's brain.
(20:02):
Let me play this game. Yeah, it's like, what do
they think about? First wild rice for tubs? Huh? All right, Charlie,
what did you say? Green what?
Speaker 3 (20:11):
Green yards?
Speaker 2 (20:17):
Green what? Charlie? Green what yard? Green yard? Oh?
Speaker 1 (20:26):
We lost him, he said.
Speaker 2 (20:28):
Green yard. We lost him. We'll find him. And so
if you're listening, call us back, sous you get through.
Let's see green yard. We'll play it out. Ye all right, yeah,
all the lines are ringing, but well if you want
to hell win, let's go. He said green yard. What'd
you say?
Speaker 1 (20:41):
I did not say green yard? I said green light.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
All right, Thomas, you're still in the running, Tanya, green yard.
All right, Thomas, you're still in the running. Michaela greenyard,

one of those big day for all the that's a Friday.
All those things are. We're designed for a Friday. Smoothies, boyfriends,
and tacos. That's my That could be your favorite three
things in life.
Speaker 1 (21:41):
Sounds like a great day.
Speaker 2 (21:43):
Anonymous caller. Woo, okay, anonymous call rare. But we have
had these before, so anonymous caller has gotten What did
you say? My husband has become TikTok famous and you
can't deal with his fame?
Speaker 4 (21:57):
Yeah, yeah, anonymous, because I don't want to give my
name or a city or anything because I don't I
don't want it to get back to me in any way.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
But what is he? How do you become famous on that?
Speaker 4 (22:08):
Yeah? Okay, it's a dilemma my my husband, he's achieved
a certain level of fame on TikTok, like he just
broke a million followers like style stuff. I don't want
to say exactly what he does, but it's working anyway.
That the money is nice, right, But I'm just not
sure I can deal with the same part.
Speaker 5 (22:27):
Like I Ryan, I hate all the.
Speaker 4 (22:29):
Women in the comments talking about how hot he is.
Like some have commented that I'm not good enough for him,
and I know and and people come up to us
on the street and they like want to take our
picture and it makes me so insecure. And I know
you guys have dealt with same like a ton, So
how do you deal with this?
Speaker 1 (22:49):
I mean, you go first?
Speaker 4 (22:51):
Ryan?
Speaker 2 (22:54):
First of all, isn't it are you, like, I don't
know what you supportive? Are excited that he's It's got
traction with his TikTok for sure.
Speaker 4 (23:03):
It's just like, I don't know, it's kicking up a
lot of insecurity.
Speaker 5 (23:07):
It's kicking up like a lot of I.
Speaker 4 (23:09):
Don't know, weird paranoia when we're out.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
You know why that's you not him? Why like you're
not Are you not confident and comfortable and secure in
your relationship?
Speaker 4 (23:17):
Right?
Speaker 1 (23:17):
Where is that? Do you have trust?
Speaker 3 (23:19):
Because if you have the trust, you shouldn't be having
these thoughts.
Speaker 4 (23:23):
I mean, yeah, there's definitely a trust, but I don't know,
it's like bringing out a different side of me. It's
kind of freaking me out. And I feel like he's
only going to get more famous.
Speaker 2 (23:32):
Do you think do you think if he becomes more
famous that he will want to ride out the wave
of fame and be with other people. Is that what
you're thinking?
Speaker 4 (23:44):
Maybe maybe subconsciously, like I'm not even aware of it.
Speaker 2 (23:48):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (23:48):
I think like he's just having so much fun with
it and I'm having a different experience and that freaks
me out.
Speaker 5 (23:54):
Does that make sense?
Speaker 1 (23:55):
Yeah, you got to communicate this with him though.
Speaker 2 (23:59):
Yeah, I also think you got to fix you, Like,
if you're not comfortable secure, then that's the problem. And
if he is going to leverage his fame to like
hook up with other people, then that's great. You've found
that out to get out so you don't know that.
So I mean, I think you got to be positive.
You gotta if you want and support the success because
that's a big deal, and do what he needs to
(24:22):
help you get to whatever security you need in your
relationship and confidence in your relationship. I dated women in
the past that make out with other guys in movies.
Speaker 7 (24:31):
Maybe there's like boundaries that you can set with him.
Speaker 6 (24:33):
I don't know what that is or what that looks like,
but maybe there's boundaries you can set that make you
feel better and that he can compromise.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
I remember, I just sit next to the dude that
made out with my girlfriend in a movie in the premiere.
I mean, talk about it?
Speaker 4 (24:47):
Yeah, yeah, I mean, and how do you deal like Ryan,
like people coming up to you all the time, Like
that's the thing that's.
Speaker 2 (24:58):
I like it actually, so talk to like I like to.
I speak to people before they talk to me a lot.
Speaker 1 (25:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (25:05):
So I'm very much into it, and I love to
take a picture. Matter of fact, I'll offer a picture.
Sometimes I say no, but I'm down, Like, I don't
mind any of it quite frank. I like it and
embrace it. And it's part of the gig. When you
get into whatever it is he's doing or whatever it
is we do the job. You can't moan about people
bothering you or recognizing you. Come on, if they did,
(25:27):
you'd be upset because you weren't making.
Speaker 1 (25:28):
It way with him. You can become just as famous too.
Speaker 4 (25:33):
I mean, it's kind of helpful. You guys are inspiring
me a bit. Maybe I'll get on board.
Speaker 2 (25:39):
He'll secure. Get secure in your relationship. Thank you for calling.
Take good care, bok famous bye. So yeah, her new
album is out. That's exciting. Her new album's out. Swift FM.
We've got a new song from her new album every
top of the hour. The next one I'm gonna play
round nine is Whistless from Taylor. That's coming up nine
(26:02):
o'clock this morning on your Friday broadcast one A two
point seven. It's Kiss FM and speaking of Taylor and
it being a Swift FM. Uh great. Wow. This weekend's
so scientist. I know Taylor Swift on release day. That's
happening all weekend. We are Swift FM celebrating her new album.
And now some college students can sign up to take
(26:23):
a Taylor Swift.
Speaker 3 (26:24):
Course, right, imagine majoring in Taylor Swift. Well not really,
but you can at least take a course. Michigan State
shout out to them because they got a new class
called the Taylor Swift Phenomenon and it looks at her
influence through economics, politics, history, gender studies, and even environmental issues.
It's really interesting because the professor's using Taylor's impact as
(26:46):
a way for students to talk about big picture culture topics,
everything from gender criticism to belonging. Basically, it's not just
about Taylor's songs, where we've seen those pop up here
and there, but it's about her presence in pop culture
and how you can explain it to the world that
we live in now. So, I mean, pop culture is
(27:06):
such a big part of our lives and using someone
like Taylor who's had massive culture impact, makes it relatable,
makes it fun.
Speaker 1 (27:15):
And now I'm.
Speaker 3 (27:16):
Looking at LMU and they have the Bad Bunny class, right,
Texas State has a Harry Styles class. But I think
that other colleges here, USC and UCLA, let's have some
of these tailor classes.
Speaker 2 (27:28):
I think it's great and it's really smart to do
this through the lens of and create a relatable angle
to learn other broader things. You may see this more often.
How popular you think that is.
Speaker 1 (27:39):
I think it's so popular. Like you said, it's sold
out as if it were a concert.
Speaker 2 (27:44):
That's why I keep using the terms sold out. So yeah,
I wish I'd give away tickets to that class. I cannot.
I cannot do that. But we got more tailor music
coming up in a second on this Friday broadcast of
We can watch this on ase FM. This is it
just my ideas for you to watch stuff. If you're
looking for something. I usually Tex, Sisney and Tanya and Mark. Hey,
(28:06):
what are y'all watching? I can't remember what y'all tell
me to watch on the watch list? So Sisney, let's
start with you. What is on your weekend watch list?
Speaker 3 (28:12):
The weekend watch list does not show. I'm obsessed with
this show already, Chad Powers.
Speaker 1 (28:20):
It is on Hulu. It's Glenn Powell.
Speaker 3 (28:23):
He plays a former college quarterback attempting a comeback by
posing as a walk on player for a struggling football team.
But he wears like prosthetics all over his face to
change his identity because the way he went out in
his career was very embarrassing and basically nobody respects him anymore,
and so he's trying to like recreate and reinvent himself
(28:45):
and it's hysterical. It's a comedy and he's so good
at it.
Speaker 2 (28:49):
That's for me. I like it. That's for me, Tania.
What's on your weekend watch list?
Speaker 7 (28:53):
Okay, So this show is called The Paper.
Speaker 6 (28:56):
It's on Peacock and the documentary crew from the Office
discovers a disappearing Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to
revive it. All ten episodes are out now. It's basically
like a spinoff of the Office. And we've been seeing
the commercials every single day when we watch Love Island Games,
and so that's next in our queue.
Speaker 2 (29:14):
All right, I think I would like that too. Yeah,
pay for my friend Ben Silverman, one of the producers
on that. Shoutut to Benny michaela what's ONNY Weekend watch list?
Speaker 9 (29:23):
So I'm watching High Potential at season two on ABC
and Hulu. I love this show. It's about a cleaning
lady with the genius level brain. She keeps solving these
cases faster than the actual detectives and it's so good.
Three episodes are out now, new episodes every Tuesday.
Speaker 2 (29:39):
All righty for me? Cott Stealing on Prime Video started
this at Bartender's Life spins out of control. This is
our Austin Butler movie. Zoe Kravitz in it too. He's
my male movie star crush. So that's one, I tell you.
The Dancing with the Star celebrity w U Fortune was
a lot of fun. Sysney saw that and you were
all pre excited about it.
Speaker 1 (29:59):
It's a next level.
Speaker 3 (30:00):
It's like it's very different from just the regular will
of fortune.
Speaker 1 (30:03):
Very there's a little bit more looseness of it. It's
like almost like it's really funny.
Speaker 2 (30:09):
So tonight there's another celebrity Wheel of Fortune on ABC,
this one Oliver Hudson. Kate Hudson's funny.
Speaker 7 (30:16):
I love what you see funny.
Speaker 2 (30:20):
Wait, you see how funny is on this show tonight? Yes,
I love him. Retta, she's amazing. She's funny too. And
Joey McIntyre from New Kids on the Ball. No way,
it was a love affair between obviously everyone, but I
can't wait. I fanboy Joey McEntire.
Speaker 1 (30:37):
It's so good.
Speaker 2 (30:38):
Here's the Retta and all of else. I don't understand.
You keep saying you're feeling sick about this, but you're
solving all the puzzles. I'm not sobbing all the puzzle.
You were doing a major show prep for this, right,
watching some episodes I watched, like any takeaways from what
you saw that I'm not that good. But if you're
not that good, what am I?
Speaker 3 (31:02):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (31:02):
He was not good at all, but it's awesome to
watch him not win, but everybody, but everybody wins for
charity alone, no matter what you take on money for charity.
That's ABC Tonight than Tomorrow, Hulu Weekend watch something That's
