Some offices are going footwear-free as a way to reduce stress and make the workplace more comfortable.

Companies, especially startups, are experimenting with rules like: no bare feet, clean socks only, and you still wear shoes, but only in bathrooms or outdoors.

The idea is that letting people kick off their shoes can make things feel more relaxed, boost morale, and even help with creativity and focus.
