Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, and welcome to BBA Bobby Bones Alone. It's five
point fifteen on the twenty eighth. And I usually keep
notes during break not because it's anything that's amazing as
far as content goes, but I just tend to forget

(00:21):
anything that popped into my head if I have more
than three or four days where I'm not on the air.
So I have written all these notes and I've labeled
it in my phone pod. That's it. So that's where
we are, and that's what we'll do. We'll start off
first to talking about a few movies that I watched.

(00:42):
I did watch Priscilla. Now when I say, I didn't
watch anything out my wife, so I didn't sit and
watch anything about myself, although I do sometimes I haven't
at all. This time I watched Priscilla. I don't know
any of the actors in it, but it is the
story of Priscilla Presley, who's Elvis's wife, and I don't know,
and it's pretty good. I give it like three out

(01:03):
of five sideburns. And I don't know if it's the
time and back then things were just different, because obviously
they were. We're talking about the late fifties, but Elvis
was like twenty one, twenty two, and she was fourteen now.
In the movie, they also made a point to say
and show Elvis go no, but I don't think we should.

(01:25):
We should go go go that far this quick. So
I don't even know they did it untill they were
she was like seventeen or eighteen. But it doesn't matter
at least now. And I'm assuming then too, But it
doesn't matter if you're twenty anything.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
And you're just hanging.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Out with a fourteen year old, that's bizarre. If you're
just sitting there talking about the news of the day,
unless it's like your younger cousin or younger brother or sister,
that's kind of weird. But then it was the fifties,
and you know there were thirteen year olds marrying each
other then, at least is what it seems like like

(02:04):
everybody's grandmother. I got married when I was fifteen and
he was sixteen, and we've never had a bad day since.
So it does start where she's fourteen and she is overseas,
and that's how she meets Elvis because her dad was
in the military and Elvis was in the military, and
Elvis was in Germany. He got drafted, which, by the way,
they were never gonna actually send him into any combat.

(02:27):
Can you imagine how terrible that had been had one
of the most famous beloved figures in music dies in
the war, regardless of who it is. You know, reading
the story about that, there are basically two things they
wanted to happen. They wanted Elvis to go and be
drafted and showed that anybody can be drafted because everybody

(02:48):
was getting drafted, at least a lot of folks. And
then there was no way thatthing could happen to him.
Can you imagine the pr nightmare this for to be.
So he's in Germany and he's chilling. I don't even
know what he's doing. But they showed him at a house,
like playing piano with all his buddies, all his buddies
over there with them, and Priscilla comes over to the

(03:13):
house with some other dude. I's like on Priscilla and
he's like on melos, like a very much of twenty one,
twenty four years old. I don't remember. But then they
I don't know, fell for each other. It's bizarre. Man.
The movie three out of five sideburns, though, and again
maybe just because times were different. By the way, I'm
checking my Uber Eats order as I do this, this

(03:37):
may never even get up. I don't even know what
I'm doing. I'm by myself. Usually Mike, he's pushing all
the buttons over here, especially at my house. But I
ordered from Uber Eats, and I ordered a honey spice
and everything nice salad with kill black and chicken thigh,
orange slices, cheese, jalapeno lime, vinegar, att croutons, carrots, And

(04:03):
that's what I'm waiting for right now. So when it
gets here, I'll be getting off this. I watched the
movie Leave the World Behind. It is awesome. Now, if
you watch it, you are either going to halfway through
be like, what the heck I don't like it, or
halfway through be like I hate it because I don't

(04:25):
even know that I loved it until it was over.
I think I liked it a lot, but I don't
think I loved it until it was over. But this movie,
if there was a strike zone, the little box, that's
perfectly for the middle of the power, for the crux

(04:46):
of the swing. This is it that this movie is
it for me. I'm not gonna say too much about it,
but there's like a whole world on TikTok now about
it and about all the little theories. Leave the world
behind basically, so then happen to America, and that's what's up.
I'm gonna leave it there. But Julia Roberts, isn't it right?

Speaker 2 (05:08):
That's all right?

Speaker 1 (05:10):
I loved it. I'm gonna say for me, five out
of five. It was almost a perfect movie. However, if
I'm ranking it to other people, I need to know
who you are, because it ain't for everybody. I'm be
honest with you. It ain't for everybody at all. I
saw the Leftovers, the Holdovers, the Leftovers, the Holdovers, the Holdovers. Yeah.

(05:40):
Paul Giamatti, I know him from mostly WNBC pick Vomit
and the Howard Starr movie. He also did Sideways. I've
seen him in things, but I just mostly know him
as wn BC. This movie is long, but it is

(06:02):
real good. It is real good. I'm gonna give it
a four point five out of five. Private Schools. I
thought it was going to be a comedy, but I
think it's just a comedic drama because there's no real

(06:24):
points to laugh. There's nothing funny happening. I guess if
people aren't getting stabbed or murdered or time travel, it's
just considered a comedy. I'll read to you the plot
of The Holdovers. A curmudgingly known instructor at a New
England prep school remains on campus during Christmas break to
babysit a handful of students with nowhere to go. He

(06:48):
soon forms an unlikely bond with the Troublemakers. I'm gonna
leave it there. I really enjoyed it. It's long. I
don't think I loved it though, until halfway through the movie. Well,
if most I was waiting for like Old School or
super Bad or something, because they were like comedy, but
it's just as much a drama, I would just say

(07:09):
it's a drama with some goofy things that happen. But
The Holdovers four and a half out of five private schools.
I like that. One got an allergy test, Now I've
had one before, but it wasn't the same one. I
had a sinus infection in my right sinyl. That's not
what it's called. But I had two different X rays. Well,

(07:35):
I went to the dentist because my tooth was hurting
me so bad, and so I go to the dentist
and my mouth is killing me. And my dentist is awesome,
and so it's I mean, there's nothing wrong with your tooths.
I was like, I don't know, man, I know something
wrong because it's like throbbing. It's like and my freaking tooth.

(08:04):
And so they do an X ray and he's like,
I just don't I don't see anything with the tooth.
But I'm like, okay, you may not see anything, but
this is what I feel. And so he says, okay,
let's try this other X ray machine. So I get
up and it's a three sixty X ray machine that
goes around your head. And I go to a place
called Smile on Nashville. It's great. I don't get it

(08:24):
for free, just FYI, and they do the X ray
around my head. He goes, we spends around. He comes
back and he goes, okay, let me show you your
X ray from a year ago. And he shows it
to me and it just looks like an X ray
complete with nose holes. And then doctor Trembley, it's my dentist.

(08:46):
Doctor Jeff Trembley says, let me show you the one
from now, and there was only one hole the other
was such a sinus infection you couldn't even see it
and it got into my teeth in my ear and
so oh, He's like, you gotta get this fixed up, man.
So I go. I call him a doctor. I got
a doctor, got some uh steroids, I got some antibiotics.

(09:10):
I'm not a big antibiotic taker, because eventually all those
antibotics are ain't gonna work anymore if you take them
all the time. I get it. And he says, hey,
you should go, and I'm gonna set you up. I'm
gonna refer you to an allergistics I've been to one before.
And he's like, what do they say? I don't know.
They put me on the back couple of times and
pat me on the butt and said here's the EpiPen.
You're good to go.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
And he was like.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
That's probably not good enough. So I said, okay, so
I go. I was there for like two hours and
they did some back stuff, scratch stuff where they put
basically put the allergyen in you and you basically see
if you react. And then they did my shoulder and
then I mean, I was itching like a mofo. Just kill.

(09:55):
My back was so red, so the allergists. The doctor
comes in. She's awesome. She's like, okay, here's what's up.
You're allergic to and she starts listing all these things
and she goes in those are just medium, here're the
ones you're really badly allergic to. And she starts listing
like thirteen other things, and then she talks about my
lung capacity and apparently my lungs are so inflame, like

(10:16):
there's such inflammation. I'm only getting almost almost eighty percent
of my lung capacity. So I guess the end of
the story is because my my nasal infection, I now
have to get allergy shots every week for a year.
Three allergy shots a week for a year. Now. I

(10:37):
could have taken the medicine I did have option, but
i'd really just get the shots and like go hard
and get it over with if it can make me
better faster. So that's what I did, and that's what
I have to do. So starting next month, I will
be getting allergy shots three times a freaking week for

(10:59):
all whole year. I saved a couple of tweets. This
was from Justin Lee mister Bobby Bones. I wanted to
find out how much an autograph would be from everyone
on the Show's a Christmas gift for my mom. She's
a huge fan. I did talk to a nice woman
on Monday who took down my information, but I never
got a response. If at all possible, please let me
know if it's possible, justin it is possible, I assume

(11:24):
the nice woman. I don't know if it was Abby
or if you called someone at the front desk. If
you can get a hold of Abby, tell her that
I talked about this and we will. We'll get it
over to you. Something.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
Hey, there's my wife. Come in, Come in, come in.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
I'm the only one here. I'm on huh. Oh no,
I'm recording a podcast to you. Gonna be on it. Okay,
foods here in like eighteen minutes. Let's do it by myself.
Why don't you get on the microphone over there. We

(12:11):
can talk about a couple of things.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
Huh you do?

Speaker 1 (12:15):
Just turn those headphones on over there? No, no, no, let's
test that. Sit down and test that microphone. Just you
almost fell over and they look talk talking to that mic. Yes,
that's it. It doesn't turn just talking to it. Hello, okay,
talk again, Hello again, Hello again? Hello, Okay, we're wearing

(12:40):
something again.

Speaker 3 (12:41):
Hello again Hello?

Speaker 1 (12:43):
Okay, Now what do you think of The Holdovers?

Speaker 3 (12:51):
I don't remember what that was?

Speaker 1 (12:52):
It is a movie, the movie with Oh, I thought
it was good. What'd you give it? What would you
give it? Out of five?

Speaker 3 (12:59):
Is this scale for Chris those movies?

Speaker 1 (13:00):
No? Just for general movies?

Speaker 3 (13:04):
Wow? Then probably like a two and a hour? What? Okay?

Speaker 1 (13:10):
Maybe you can turn that mic in.

Speaker 3 (13:12):
It doesn't turn it?

Speaker 2 (13:13):
Do no, just it doesn't turn in? Are you sure?

Speaker 1 (13:19):
I bet it does?

Speaker 3 (13:24):
It goes down, it goes like that. There you go.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
That's exactly how it was pointed out. There you go.

Speaker 3 (13:36):
This is exactly how it was.

Speaker 1 (13:39):
Okay, okay, what did you think of Leave the World Behind?

Speaker 4 (13:45):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (13:45):
Out of five? I give that a four.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
Mike d told me he only liked his sixty percent
Leave the World Behind? Yeah, okay, I thought it was
way better than than that. And George Bursch told me,
and we're not gonna spoil anything, but he said something
about it was I'm not even gonna say that, but
he did. He also didn't like it.

Speaker 3 (14:08):
Yeah, that's why we almost didn't watch it.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
That's why we almost didn't watch it, because he told
me something about it.

Speaker 3 (14:12):
What did he tell you?

Speaker 1 (14:13):
I can't tell you here. I'll tell you after we finish.
But it didn't affect. It didn't affect how much I
enjoyed the movie.

Speaker 4 (14:18):
But you said you didn't want to watch it because
George told you it was terrible and you told me
something about that.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
He did not tell you when we're done here, what
exactly he told me?

Speaker 3 (14:25):
But you he said that you told me he said
it was the worst ending of it.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
That's what I want to say. You can't say that.
You can't say that, why because you don't spoiler. That's
a half spoiler. No, it's not, it's not.

Speaker 4 (14:37):
Every movie has an ending and people think it's either
good or bad.

Speaker 3 (14:41):
That's no spoiler, got it?

Speaker 1 (14:43):
Okay, we'll just make sure. And then what was the
other one we want? I reviewed a few movies here
we want, Oh, Priscilla, what do you think of that?

Speaker 3 (14:52):
Oh? I liked Priscilla.

Speaker 1 (14:54):
Would you write that.

Speaker 4 (14:56):
I liked it better than Elvis? I don't know if
that's because it was about a I liked it better.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
Than Elvis too, though, because Elvis was shot weird.

Speaker 3 (15:02):
No, Elvis was losory, and it made Elvis look Losory.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
The movie, right, yes, no, no, no, no, you mean her
or the movie better than Elvis. What you said you
liked it better than Elvis.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
I liked the I like Priscilla better than Elvis and.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
The People.

Speaker 3 (15:20):
The movie.

Speaker 1 (15:21):
No, no, hold on, are you saying you like Priscilla
better than Elvis as people or because Elvis with Tom
Hanks's Colonel Parker was that was kind of domish, So
we're talking about.

Speaker 4 (15:30):
Yes, I was saying I like Priscilla the movie better
than Elvis the movie. And then I was saying that
in Elvis the movie, they made Elvis look like a loser.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
Yeah, a little bit, that's what I was saying, a
lot of bit.

Speaker 3 (15:42):
He looked like a loser.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
And I'm from twenty four or your fourteen year old,
pretty mama.

Speaker 3 (15:47):
I don't know what you're saying.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
I'm twenty four years old, your fourteen year old pretty mama.

Speaker 3 (15:50):
Actually when you were twenty No, that's what Elvis was like.

Speaker 1 (15:53):
I was, but that's what it was like. Because but
I wouldn't have dated you good.

Speaker 3 (15:59):
You would have been in jail, right.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
But that's what they did. Yeah, that was my point.

Speaker 3 (16:03):
No, I know, it's it's kind of gross.

Speaker 1 (16:05):
We were talking about the invisible string today because of
the Taylor Swipt song. It's trending on TikTok. Oh you
know that.

Speaker 3 (16:14):
I didn't know it's trending on TikTok. Well, we're on
different tiktoks.

Speaker 1 (16:19):
I'm not on that TikTok, And so I thought if
I saw that, you would for sure see it. No
foods here in eight minutes, Okay. So my question to
you was, we always had an invisible string.

Speaker 4 (16:36):
I mean, I don't think like you have an invisible
string or you don't.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
I think.

Speaker 4 (16:44):
The invisible string is just a funny way to look
back at whoever you end up with. It's like, oh,
all along, we had this invisible string because we ended
up together.

Speaker 3 (16:51):
So we're always somehow tied together.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
But when I was eighteen, my invisible string to you
would have you'd have been six. It's grass, that's true.
That that's pretty gross. Did I tell you the story
about the Starbucks girl that went to jail? No? What? Oh?

Speaker 3 (17:10):
Yeah, you well you told my dad.

Speaker 1 (17:12):
So there was a girl and she was working They
register at Starbucks to drive through, and people would drive
through and she would say, hey, would you like to
pay for the order behind you, and they would go, yeah, sure,
but she would bring it up herself so they'd say
yeah sure. So she would basically just venmo herself some
money from that card or use that card to pay right,

(17:34):
and then not pay for the person behind them, because
how the person behind them going to know the person
in front of them paid right? And then all said
and down, she was making like three hundred thousand dollars
a month, a lot of money. That's crazy, and the
judge sent us her to jail for like two years.

Speaker 3 (17:47):
Hey, plus her hourly wage.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
That's true, But that's true. My mammying is being met differently.
Am I not supposed to man people younger than me?

Speaker 3 (18:00):
Now, what what are you talking about?

Speaker 1 (18:04):
My mammy?

Speaker 3 (18:06):
Oh saying ma'am.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:07):
It was at the store and I was like, yes, ma'am.
I was like yeah, I think thank thank you, ma'am
or yes ma'am. And she's probably twenty eight or twenty nine,
and she looked at me like, hey, don't mam me,
old guy.

Speaker 4 (18:16):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (18:17):
I think ma'am is uh generational.

Speaker 1 (18:22):
You guys don't say ma'am at all.

Speaker 3 (18:24):
I don't really say ma'am.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
Or sir. No, no, it could be a house I
think it's more Southern than it is generational.

Speaker 3 (18:31):
I mean, I guess, but we're from two hours apart.

Speaker 1 (18:34):
You're not from the South, no.

Speaker 3 (18:37):
I what I tell you is that.

Speaker 4 (18:40):
You we wouldn't technically identify as the South.

Speaker 3 (18:44):
We weren't a state.

Speaker 1 (18:45):
You weren't the Confederacy.

Speaker 4 (18:46):
Exactly, Thank goodness, right, right, So we were just Indian territories.
And I think different territories chose different sides. But so, yeah,
maybe it's a Southern thing, or maybe it's just a
household thing, but I we we didn't say ma'm er, sir.

Speaker 1 (19:05):
I think my Grandma's who made me say ma'am and sir.

Speaker 4 (19:09):
I don't really like get when people call me ma'am.
It just made me feel old. It just makes me
feel weird.

Speaker 1 (19:14):
Like what like what what? Like they're being Elvis on you.

Speaker 4 (19:17):
Well, like if someone says thank you, ma'am, I feel
like I need to say you're welcome.

Speaker 1 (19:21):
You need a courteys or something.

Speaker 4 (19:23):
Yeah, I feel like I need a fancy word. I
also hate I was just thinking about this. I hate
when people say someone says, how are you doing? And
I will say I'm good, how are you, and they'll
say I'm well. I hate when people will hate you
with the well.

Speaker 1 (19:37):
Because you think they're correcting what you just said.

Speaker 3 (19:40):
Yes, they're showing off.

Speaker 1 (19:42):
I just don't even consider how are you doing to
be a real question. I consider how are you doing
to be like a I'm here, you're here. We're just
saying a few words as a pleasantry before we start
our normal conversation, because nobody really wants to know how
you're doing.

Speaker 3 (19:54):
I do.

Speaker 1 (19:55):
No, you wont know how I'm doing. I wonder how
you're doing, But.

Speaker 3 (19:57):
You know I want to know how people are doing, don't.
I won't start with me.

Speaker 1 (20:01):
But if we were at the grocery store and we
were standing in line behind somebody and I was behind,
I was like, how's it going? I don't really know
how it's going?

Speaker 3 (20:07):
You don't.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
I do, but you really don't.

Speaker 3 (20:11):
You don't think I want to know how people are
actually doing?

Speaker 1 (20:14):
Okay, But I don't think most people really, when they
say that, actually are asking that question. I think they're
just going basically high.

Speaker 3 (20:21):
But am I asking no?

Speaker 1 (20:22):
Okause sometimes it's anoying because you don't know what everybody's
up to.

Speaker 3 (20:25):
Exactly. I don't want to know what people are up there.

Speaker 1 (20:27):
You want to be like, how, how are you? Where?
Where's your family from?

Speaker 2 (20:29):
What do you?

Speaker 1 (20:30):
What do you care about? What are your dreams?

Speaker 3 (20:31):
That's not true. I want to be I love what.

Speaker 1 (20:33):
Do you do? You want to know a lot about people.

Speaker 3 (20:36):
I want to know how they're doing. I don't.

Speaker 4 (20:38):
I don't always care about where their parents went to
high school. But I want to know are you okay today?
And if you're not, why, and yes? And then tell
me why, and then let's figure out.

Speaker 3 (20:49):
You brought your childhood, made you.

Speaker 1 (20:51):
You've brought you've got, You've brought random people home.

Speaker 4 (20:54):
Yeah, and that was kind of me, it was, and
I'm happy I did that.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
Yeah, me too.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
But all of a sudden you show up with someone,
It's like, huh, wonder who this is.

Speaker 3 (21:05):
A kind woman who needed help.

Speaker 1 (21:08):
I agree, I'm a horrible I'm not arguing. I'm not
in any way. I'm just saying you started a conversation
with her, held the conversation that said, why don't you
come back to our house?

Speaker 3 (21:19):
Well? I said, why don't you come to dinner with us?

Speaker 1 (21:21):
That's great at our house. I would have just felt
like I was being annoying. Oh, where you're being kind?
I would have felt like one, I'm a dude. Yeah,
and if I were saying that to a woman trying,
I think I'm gonna murder her for sure.

Speaker 4 (21:36):
I think I used to think that I was annoying
a lot, and now I've just tried so hard over
the past few years to work on It doesn't matter
how this person interprets what I'm saying. I know my heart,
I'm not trying to be annoying. I'm genuinely trying to
help this person. So if they find this annoying, then
that's okay.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
Where do you think that comes from?

Speaker 3 (21:55):
Therapy?

Speaker 1 (21:57):
And when do you think you flipped that switch?

Speaker 3 (22:00):
I'm not sure. I think it's been a slow.

Speaker 1 (22:02):
Burn, the holdovers of slow burn for me.

Speaker 3 (22:11):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (22:13):
We started watching a show called Bodies. How do you
feel about It?

Speaker 4 (22:21):
The first few episodes were a little black, but this
last episode we watched today was pretty good.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
Yeah. Yeah, I'm sorry to get into it.

Speaker 4 (22:27):
I'm not really into time travel, but ye oh my god,
I love that stuff.

Speaker 1 (22:31):
If I could have the perfect movie.

Speaker 4 (22:33):
Time travel into the world zombie and like football or something, sprinkling.

Speaker 1 (22:41):
Yeah, I would take zombie though. Oh. I do love
zombies though, Like zombies and aliens are kind of in
that same area.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
Yeah, you're kind of more into aliens than zombies.

Speaker 1 (22:49):
These days because aliens are real and zombies aren't.

Speaker 4 (22:54):
Yeah, but you used to be like, well, we could
turn into zombies and stuff like.

Speaker 1 (22:58):
Well, bugs do that. Okay, there are zomb No, but
we didn't know bugs turned into zombies until they they did. Okay,
when you walked up to this window, you scared the
crab out of me.

Speaker 4 (23:10):
By the way, I heared the crap out of me
because I thought you were playing. I thought you're on
the simulator.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
No, I was working.

Speaker 3 (23:15):
You know.

Speaker 1 (23:15):
I think I'm more embarrassed to be working than on
the simulator.

Speaker 3 (23:19):
Well, it's probably good.

Speaker 1 (23:21):
If I was on the simulator, I'd be like, yep,
just down here doing vacation.

Speaker 4 (23:27):
Yeah, but you're always on the simulator, so it's not
really vacation.

Speaker 1 (23:31):
No. But I'm saying if I would, I'm not on
the simile that often. In winter. I do get on
it more, okay, but not in the summer. But my
point is, if you came down, I would be normal,
like I'm on vacation, I'm on the simulator. I'm I
wasn't sneaking because I told you I was coming back here,
but I'm just kind of sneaking back to work to
do a podcast.

Speaker 3 (23:49):
Well, you're not sneaking because I saw it on your Instagram.

Speaker 1 (23:51):
Storry.

Speaker 3 (23:52):
I don't know that's what you're doing right now, but
I saw on your Instagram.

Speaker 1 (23:54):
It's not sneaking, but I'm saying I was just sliding
back here to do this. Okay, It's fine, I know,
I know here, foods almost here. Do you want to
answer like five of these questions with me and then
be done?

Speaker 3 (24:07):
Sure?

Speaker 1 (24:08):
Are you okay? By the way, doing Thanks for doing
this with me.

Speaker 3 (24:11):
You're welcome.

Speaker 1 (24:11):
I really appreciate that. I know it's not your favorite
thing to do, and I know if I would have said, hey,
come do this with thing, you probably have been like eh,
I don't know, but since you were here in cornered,
I appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (24:19):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (24:21):
What's the best piece of investment advice you've ever received
about anything? Do you have any advice at all? This
is a question from uh someone on Instagram.

Speaker 3 (24:35):
The best piece of investment.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
Advice it can be anything at all.

Speaker 3 (24:41):
What do you mean anything at all?

Speaker 1 (24:43):
I don't know. I would say for me the best
piece of investment advice because I didn't even know people
who would invest anything until I was thirty probably right, but.

Speaker 4 (24:52):
Yeah, and I'm just thirty one, so I guess I
haven't gotten it yet.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
It's true, but I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (24:57):
Maybe i'll hear it now. Go ahead.

Speaker 1 (25:00):
I was just told, if you buy property, you'll never
lose money.

Speaker 4 (25:04):
Oh yeah, yeah, I mean you've taught me that in
our marriage, like for sure, I feel like but.

Speaker 1 (25:10):
I never knew made about property even until yeah.

Speaker 3 (25:13):
Later, You've taught me a lot, honestly.

Speaker 1 (25:17):
Here's another one from Andrea Dulia. How's Caitlin doing? Any
exciting plans? Trips coming up? Love the real life updates?

Speaker 3 (25:25):
Oh? How am I doing? Thank you for asking? I'm
doing pushing?

Speaker 1 (25:27):
She did ask how you're doing?

Speaker 3 (25:29):
That's sweet and I bet she cares. Probably thank you.
It's not just a casualty.

Speaker 4 (25:35):
I'm doing well. Thank you for asking. Do we have
any trips or plans coming up?

Speaker 3 (25:41):
No? Not really?

Speaker 1 (25:42):
You're gonna talk about the what we talked about today
or not not yet?

Speaker 3 (25:45):
What do we talk about?

Speaker 1 (25:46):
Today.

Speaker 3 (25:46):
Oh, one that we might go on.

Speaker 1 (25:48):
We're gonna go oh.

Speaker 4 (25:50):
I think we're going to go to New York for
my birthday. Not not on my birthday but around my
birthday maybe with some friends.

Speaker 3 (25:57):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (25:57):
That'll be fun. Here's one. Is Caitlyn excited about Oklahoma
going to the SEC and is it a rivalry household?

Speaker 3 (26:10):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (26:10):
No, it's not robbery house. I love Oklahoma. Okay, sooner, Okay,
like I said, just said it.

Speaker 4 (26:15):
Okay, I am excited about Oklahoma going to the SEC.
It's weird, for sure, but it is exciting. I'm excited
to play Arkansas because we've actually beat Arkansas quite a
few things.

Speaker 1 (26:31):
In basketball. You've beat us in the regular season, but
then we did so much better than you overall. But
it doesn't matter.

Speaker 3 (26:35):
I'm talking about us playing you.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
I'm not talking about and what though, what.

Speaker 3 (26:39):
A creator story when we beat you in basketball? Share?
We beat you in basketball last year? Don't we beat you
in baseball last year?

Speaker 1 (26:43):
Probably? But then again we go to College World Series.

Speaker 3 (26:46):
We win.

Speaker 1 (26:46):
You guys sit at home that we win the softball
national We never played each other. Sorry, but I like Oklahoma,
so you're not hurt of me.

Speaker 4 (26:53):
You like Oklahoma now because it's convenient for you to
say that. Why because you want me to be no
on Arkansas.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
You died. You told me that I need to not
treat him as a rival, so I don't anymore.

Speaker 3 (27:06):
That's true because you started that.

Speaker 1 (27:08):
I did not he did.

Speaker 4 (27:09):
And also my brother in law, DJ Gasso, my sister's husband,
Chris Gasso, Chris Parker Gasso, he coaches for Arkansas, so
I now will cheer for Arkansas softball. His mom coaches
for Oklahoma, so obviously I'll still cheer for Oklahoma as.

Speaker 1 (27:25):
Well, but he will also cheer for Arkansas football because
I cheer for Oklahoma football.

Speaker 3 (27:29):
Yeah, as long as we're not playing each other.

Speaker 1 (27:30):
Correct, Yeah, for sure. I'll get two final questions, Uh,
do any of the staff go to church on Christmas?
If you did, let me know we did?

Speaker 3 (27:39):
We did? I mean we went on Christmas Eve, which was.

Speaker 1 (27:41):
That counts a Sunday?

Speaker 3 (27:42):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (27:43):
Yeah, we went to First Baptist of Tulsa.

Speaker 3 (27:46):
We did.

Speaker 1 (27:47):
Yeah. And the guy who married Usk, I say his.

Speaker 3 (27:51):
Name, Jeff, Yeah, he's that Falcons.

Speaker 1 (27:52):
He's the music minister. Is that his official title?

Speaker 3 (27:56):
He is a music minister.

Speaker 4 (27:57):
He He was like a second dad to me growing up.

Speaker 1 (28:00):
But it does like his job, right, is it called
a music minister?

Speaker 3 (28:03):
Yes, a music minister.

Speaker 1 (28:04):
He was awesome.

Speaker 3 (28:05):
He's awesome.

Speaker 1 (28:06):
He's awesome.

Speaker 3 (28:07):
He is awesome.

Speaker 1 (28:07):
Yeah, he married us and then we went on Christmas
Eve and we were in Tulsa, and then we went
and had dinner at a place called Smoke and Tulsa,
which is a really nice restaurant, which I was so
surprised that were open on Christmas Eve night.

Speaker 3 (28:19):
Yeah, it was really good and it was really packed.
It was really packed, thank god my mom had a reservation.

Speaker 1 (28:24):
Yeah, and it was really good. But it was a
lot more singing on the Christmas Eve service than it
was well what we used to call preaching the message. Yeah, yeah,
we here. I don't know how it was with you
growing up going to church, but with me growing up
going to church, there was almost no music. We'd do

(28:45):
like one we'd pull the book out of the back
of the bench and you'd be like, all right, opened
the page three twelve and it'd be like, ah, fly away, Glory,
fly away in the morning, only hymns.

Speaker 3 (28:59):
Yeah, we were getting.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
See, we never had that going to a Pentecostal church
and my grandmother especially it was only hymns, and then
a Baptist church all through twelve to eighteen was only hymns.
So then we would go to church here down the
road and it's like full.

Speaker 3 (29:18):
Concert. Yeah they're really good too.

Speaker 4 (29:21):
I mean they also are in Nashville, so you're gonna
get really great talented singers and musicians.

Speaker 3 (29:27):
But yeah, I mean their music is wild.

Speaker 4 (29:29):
But yeah, we had a lot of We had interesting
and fun music when I was growing up in church.

Speaker 3 (29:35):
For sure. We had Stephen Curtis Chapman and his journ.

Speaker 1 (29:37):
Again Stephen Kurr Chapman came to your church.

Speaker 3 (29:40):
No, we sang his songs.

Speaker 1 (29:42):
Oh, I was like he was just over here.

Speaker 3 (29:44):
I'm sure he did at some point to do a
concert or something.

Speaker 1 (29:47):
But did you guys ever have jars of clay.

Speaker 3 (29:50):
Like be there at our church?

Speaker 1 (29:52):
Yeah? No, do you know who that is?

Speaker 3 (29:55):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (29:55):
Do you know that they're a big song?

Speaker 3 (29:57):
If you said it?

Speaker 1 (29:58):
Rain rain on my fa face hasn't stopped raining for days,
I don't know. My world is a flood and suddenly
I become one with the mud hand. If I can't
swim after four days and yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's
a jam and newsboys. Just between you and me, I
guess something to say, ye has a good one.

Speaker 3 (30:20):
That's a good one.

Speaker 1 (30:21):
But we didn't have we didn't have a lot of music.
But this so that was normal music amount of music then, Oh.

Speaker 4 (30:28):
No, I don't think that it was necessarily an abnormal
amount of music.

Speaker 3 (30:33):
I think it was.

Speaker 4 (30:35):
Not as much of a message like I think. Probably
it was just a shorter service.

Speaker 1 (30:39):
Overall, more of just a gathering at Christmas time.

Speaker 4 (30:41):
Yeah, it was a candle light service, so it was
just you know, to do a little praise and worship.

Speaker 1 (30:46):
It's very nice. Yeah, it's very nice. And nobody burnt.
They gave the kids glow sticks and then we had
candles that they everybody lit. There was no fire. I
just feel like insurance would not find that to be acceptable,
regard less of what building you're in. But you know what,
the Lord had us covered.

Speaker 3 (31:03):
The Lord had us covered.

Speaker 1 (31:04):
So I don't know, I don't know what everybody else did.
Have you talked to Amy much.

Speaker 3 (31:07):
I've talked to her a little bit. Yeah, I'm sure
she went. I'm sure she wins.

Speaker 4 (31:11):
If if there's one person I think went actually, I
would say probably Amy and Eddie both went.

Speaker 3 (31:16):
Oh, Eddie was out of town, so.

Speaker 1 (31:18):
I don't know, but Eddie wasn't. And then the foods here.
So we're going to cut this off in a second.
But mhm, let's FaceTime Eddie and say if you went
to church? What do you think? Yes or no?

Speaker 4 (31:28):
I think no because I believe that they were already
in Texas. I think I was talking to his wife
when she was they were on their way.

Speaker 1 (31:42):
He's not gonna answer what would you be doing?

Speaker 3 (31:44):
Okay, I don't know, taking care of children?

Speaker 1 (31:47):
It's Eddie. Do you mean watching football?

Speaker 3 (31:50):
No?

Speaker 1 (31:50):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (31:51):
And then he's a very involved father and husband.

Speaker 1 (31:53):
I agree, But right now, what would you be doing?
Watching ball games? Probably watching with his boys, texting me
about parlays, that's true. And then the final question, what
do you consider the hot New sneaker? I mean, I
can go it's not hot New.

Speaker 3 (32:10):
I'd love to hear it. It's not hot New okay,
but but that's what the question is.

Speaker 1 (32:14):
So well, okay, but I'm gonna say, hot New to
you is gonna be different than hot New to me
or other average people that aren't in fashion. We're average Okay,
the aren't.

Speaker 3 (32:24):
Oh I mean sorry, we're all above average.

Speaker 1 (32:26):
That aren't. That can't be true. Everybody can't be above
aver all, especially in god Dies, Okay, that can be true,
and in mine. Okay. I would say that overall over
the last five years, because Adidas used to have the
best just general shoe, New Balance is now just generally

(32:47):
the best tennis shoe for not only being sixty or
nineteen or working out or going out, if you're gonna
wear tennis shoes, like just generally, the New Balance brand
has really transcended in a way I've not seen a
brand transcend because it's not they don't even come from nowhere.
A lot of the new brands will come out of
nowhere and be like, this brand's cool because so and

(33:08):
so has it, likes it, has created it. New Balance
has been around forever and they've always been lame but comfortable.
New Balance.

Speaker 3 (33:16):
Oh I didn't know that I was lame.

Speaker 1 (33:18):
Yeah, they're always like dadged uncle, not even dad like
distant uncle shoes.

Speaker 3 (33:23):
Oh wow, yeah, I've read that.

Speaker 1 (33:24):
And so now New Balance is cool.

Speaker 3 (33:28):
Yeah, it's super cool.

Speaker 4 (33:28):
I mean it's for everybody, right, everybody can wear a
New Balance a million different colors, a million different versions
and styles too.

Speaker 1 (33:36):
Do you think that they now know that they're cool
and that's why their prices have gone way up?

Speaker 3 (33:41):
Oh? For sure.

Speaker 4 (33:42):
And there's a lot of new Balance collapse too, like
people are doing a lot of designer.

Speaker 1 (33:47):
Brands, good collabse, new Balance colasses.

Speaker 3 (33:50):
A new Balance collab I have. That's where I was
worrying today.

Speaker 1 (33:53):
I don't work out what gone is. Do you have
a favorite new brand?

Speaker 4 (33:57):
No, I don't have a favorite new brand. I think
the Aces are going to make a big come back.
I think that's going to be the new Balance in
a few years.

Speaker 1 (34:03):
So A six and Balancioga look exactly alike that their
logos there a little yeah, No, not shoe wise. I'm
just saying the logos because whenever I would wear balanci AGA's,
which I really don't anymore occasionally, yeah, because we don't
do that anymore for the most part.

Speaker 4 (34:21):
And honestly, they're just like they're not the vibe regardless,
so chunky people would.

Speaker 1 (34:27):
Be like, are those those A six? Because of that,
it's I'm gonna say the swoosh. You know, Nike has
their swoosh, Reebok has their wave. Yeah that A six.
Those lines they're swoosh. They look very similar they do.

Speaker 3 (34:40):
Yeah, you're right. I didn't think about that until just now.

Speaker 1 (34:43):
So well, I want to say again thank you so
much for doing this, because this was not the plan
and it really warms my heart. And why don't we
go get some some dinner and watch some shows or
something sounds good to me And I hope I even
recorded this. What if I didn't just be me

Speaker 4 (34:59):
And your chatting like every night, like every night, all right,
mm hmm
