What do we got?

Speaker 5 (00:41):
What's up?

Speaker 6 (00:42):
Guys, big fan, thanks for taking my questions. See, you
all are amazing songwriters and you've written a lot of
amazing songs. I'd be curious to know what your favorite
song is and why. Not necessarily your biggest or it
could be, but just what's your favorite song?

Speaker 2 (00:59):
Like?

Speaker 7 (00:59):
Why?

Speaker 6 (00:59):
What is it mean a lot to you? Also, you've
played in a lot of cities, a lot of amazing
cities on a lot of big tours. What's your favorite
city to play in and why?

Speaker 5 (01:10):
Thanks?

Speaker 6 (01:10):
Guys, keep crushing it.

Speaker 4 (01:13):
That's from the legendary Corey Crowder.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Favorite city to tour in?

Speaker 8 (01:22):
I know? My my favorite city place Philadelphia?

Speaker 4 (01:26):
Why?

Speaker 8 (01:27):
Oh yeah, I love that.

Speaker 7 (01:29):
I don't know.

Speaker 8 (01:29):
I love the city of brother Lee Love. It's just great.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
Well, that's very fitting for you guys.

Speaker 8 (01:36):
I don't know what. I'm from Newberry, South Carolina.

Speaker 7 (01:38):
My dad owned a restaurant growing up, and so we
had people from all over the place working there. And
I'm still we still have great family friends that were
from Philadelphia, you know, that are that I met there
in that restaurant and then growing up and going through life.
You know, I've noticed it for whatever reason, most of
my favorite people are from Philly.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
Was it like being a restaurant kid?

Speaker 7 (02:00):
I mean, I don't know, what's it like being a
restaurant kid? Yeah, I mean it was great. You know, really,
it was never hungry.

Speaker 8 (02:09):
Yeah, we're hungry, you know. But I love the.

Speaker 7 (02:15):
Service industry and the team element of it. I love,
you know, like I don't want to go back to
waiting tables ever. But when I did it, I loved it.

Speaker 8 (02:23):
It was cool. You know.

Speaker 7 (02:24):
I like that family of a restaurant, you know, I
like that everybody. I mean, I like everything about it.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
I love that. Okay, Grihen, what's your favorite city and
what's your favorite song too? Yes, what's your favorite song?
Doesn't that do your biggest hit?

Speaker 8 (02:35):
Oh? My favorite song. Yeah, that changes all the time.

Speaker 7 (02:40):
But you know, my favorite song, we have a new
one called drift Away coming out that I love.

Speaker 8 (02:46):
It is.

Speaker 7 (02:47):
Has a you know for me, it's it has a
trancelike quality to it.

Speaker 4 (02:52):
I agree with that.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
Yeah, it's you know, you get into like a whole
you get into the movie of the song.

Speaker 8 (02:57):
It's like you're drifting away. Wow.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
I like that.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
Okay, what about you, Graham and Michael favorite city to
tour in favorite song?

Speaker 9 (03:06):
Oh, I think my favorite city is Chicago. It's a
great American city. You have a great lake right there.
It's pretty pretty unique.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Uh.

Speaker 9 (03:15):
And my favorite song of ours, I think right now
is the Outside, the title track off the album, because
it's such a rocker. It's such a statement of nobody's perfect.
We all got scars, but like you just got to
live your life and just be your truest, authentic self
and don't stop. And that's kind of our message.

Speaker 4 (03:35):
It's okay for you're on the outside.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Yeah little, and that's it.

Speaker 9 (03:38):
And you know what, there's a lot of people on
the outside, and therefore you make your own community and
you're not on the outside, you know, you create the
space for that.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
I don't know.

Speaker 9 (03:46):
It's it seems kind of like a mission statement of
this band.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
And I love that song. We all wrote it together.

Speaker 9 (03:53):
I think it's a beautiful, beautiful song.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
It's a statement.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
I'm so glad y'all titled the album that too. That's awesome. Okay, babe,
what about you?

Speaker 2 (04:00):
My one of my favorite cities is playing is Boston.

Speaker 4 (04:03):
I love Boston.

Speaker 10 (04:04):
I've always loved playing Boston. We've gotten to do Finway
a couple of times. We were on the Aldean Tour.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
Jason Adding and Kid Rock. That was epic. That show
was epic.

Speaker 10 (04:13):
You know, I've just always had a fond place in
my heart for that city.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
It's always been fun.

Speaker 10 (04:18):
There's a lot of memories we've made there, you know,
a lot of like milestones have happened. Like we celebrated
Smoke going number one in Boston. We we you know,
uh played the House of Blues with Kip Moore when
we were Nobody for the first time. It was sold
out crowd in Boston. We did Fenway Park two nights
in Boston. Like, you know, my vocal doctors in Boston
who kind of saved my voice when I had issues.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
You had have vocal surgery, Like.

Speaker 7 (04:43):
We kind of skipped over accidentally that was part of
the COVID What.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
About that you too, just found out that you had
a pull up on your throat.

Speaker 7 (04:51):
That happened in the beginning of twenty Yeah, we could
do a whole another podcast on just the years of
like the COVID years.

Speaker 8 (04:58):
That could be a whole other appe.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
So Boston's always a great place for me.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
Favorite song, you know.

Speaker 10 (05:03):
My favorite song right now at the moment and most
personal song is the new song we just released, No News.

Speaker 4 (05:08):
Why do you love it well?

Speaker 10 (05:09):
Because I wrote it with Drake White, who's a good
friend of ours and an inspiration to me with everything
that he's been through in life and what he's kind
of he's a fighter, you know, and he's a winner, and.

Speaker 4 (05:20):
He had a stroke on stage and just had to
learn how to walk again. And he's on the podcast
a couple.

Speaker 10 (05:24):
Of weeks ago, he was, and in Chris Kalbuta, who's
a new friend of mine, who's a great songwriter.

Speaker 9 (05:31):
You know.

Speaker 10 (05:31):
It's just written from an honest place of like we
all had gone through a lot, and for me it
was more of a of a healing release to write
that song and tell my story through it and the
things that I've been going through and and and how
that feeling of finally, finally it's you know, when the

(05:51):
phone stops ringing. The peacefulness of that is like a
good thing because we'd all been getting the phone ring Well, yeah,
we've been getting hammered by life.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
You know.

Speaker 10 (06:00):
It was during the COVID years and all the things
that I went through with you know, vocal surgery, to
my losing my dad, to losing another record deal, to
things getting shelved and having a child, which was a blessing,
and then adjusting to being a father, and and you know,
it became very overwhelming. And uh, to finally have it

(06:22):
settle has been a beautiful thing.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
So that that song is really personal for me.

Speaker 4 (06:28):
I love that. Okay, we got one more question here.
You just put this on. One more question, one more
burning question.

Speaker 8 (06:34):
No, I don't get to hear it. Eight thousand mars.
This is Chet from Philadelphia.

Speaker 5 (06:38):
It seems from your socials that food is a big
passion that the band shares. I was wondering what your
favorite food city is on tour and if you guys
could recommend your favorite Nashville Meet and three combo.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
Big food.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
Yeah, we do love food.

Speaker 8 (06:57):
Yeah, thank you.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
Check from philadel Feel Philadelphia.

Speaker 7 (07:04):
Though, Philly in the house. Let's see my what is
our favorite food city in America?

Speaker 2 (07:14):
Well, I mean Philadelphia's great.

Speaker 8 (07:17):
Philadelphia is amazing.

Speaker 10 (07:19):
Tomato tomato pie and then an Italian sandwich.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
That's true.

Speaker 8 (07:24):
I mean you gotta go cheese steak too, Cheese.

Speaker 7 (07:27):
I mean I look forward to uh Primani brother Sandwich
in Pittsburgh single time.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
So that's a magical thing.

Speaker 7 (07:36):
There's a lot of things, but for the most part,
it's you know, coal slaw and French fries. Yeah, you know,
I get a hot capa cola, onions and the whole deal.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
My favorite cash only.

Speaker 10 (07:49):
One of my favorite restaurants to visit when we're out
west is in San Francisco called House a Non King.
It's a Chinese restaurant. It is the best place, best
Chinese I have ever had in my life. I get
there like you know, what would be equivalent to like
General Sala's chicken, but like their chicken and their rice
and there, I mean everything on the menu is good.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
They're dumplings.

Speaker 10 (08:10):
But every time we're in San Francisco, like I will
go by myself in a cab to get lunch.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
Or dinner there after the show cat or uber.

Speaker 8 (08:18):
At this point, Yeah, there's a cool bicycle cab.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
Yeah, everybody watched this full house.

Speaker 8 (08:23):
But they my last time we went to House of
Nan King.

Speaker 7 (08:26):
We went with a whole group of people and we
drugged the whole like touring party out and you know,
there's probably eight or nine of us and uh we
we ordered and too many people ordered chicken and the
waiter was like, uh no, too much chicken.

Speaker 8 (08:40):
Y'all know how to order.

Speaker 7 (08:42):
I'm just gonna yeah, and just walked off but no choices.
Was like no, yeah, I've got you know better than
you and everything they brought us was incredible, unbelievable.

Speaker 4 (08:52):
Glad he just took the reins.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
Yeah you know, Okay, Graham, what's the best meeting three
Nashville too?

Speaker 9 (08:57):
Oh gosh, let's yeah, you got this best meeting three
in Nashville?

Speaker 4 (09:01):
I mean Arnold's. Is there anything other than.

Speaker 9 (09:03):
Arnolds doesn't exist anymore though, doesn't it? It was Arnold's.
Arnold's was the King Danger is pretty amazing, but it's
not there anymore.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
Geez. Uh National Change.

Speaker 10 (09:13):
Guys when they say it's a different town, it's a different.

Speaker 9 (09:16):
Sweats over there, and in like kind of what German
almost Germantown area somewhere Rosa Parks. I don't even know
what part of town that is. It's yeah, it's that
special of a place. Sweats is great.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
And I love the cutting board.

Speaker 8 (09:31):
Oh yes, that cutting.

Speaker 9 (09:32):
