Speaker 1 (00:01):
I'm gonna ask that question to starting off.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Actually, okay, were ready.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
Carl Line. She's a queen and talking, so.

Speaker 4 (00:22):
She's getting really not afraid to feel.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
Tis so just let it float.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
No one, can we quiet car Line?

Speaker 4 (00:31):
It's sound of Caroline.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Okay, we are back with a bonus episode call Caroline,
where we answer your burning questions. And I have Alex
and Drake White here and actually I'm going to start
off with one question. I want to know how do
y'all keep it hot in the bedroom? As I'm being serious, Well,
it helps.

Speaker 5 (00:53):
That he's a musician who tours and is gone.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
On the road. You so then when he comes home
you're ready for it.

Speaker 5 (00:59):
Yeah, you get a man of course, he has a
beard and you know, just manly all the things. I'm like, Oh,
you're just the sexiest thing coming in off the road
after being gone for.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
You know so many right, I'm gonna hold you to that.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:11):
No, he's gonna say your sexy thing is home baby,
or if I'm like all those deals.

Speaker 6 (01:16):
I don't. I don't see how people actually live each
with each other three and sixty five days a year.
Alex is awesome. I have a great wife. I have
a great we have a great thing in chemistry. But
like I was born, he's a gypsy for leaving man
and and I think it's so it's so cool, like
to come home and to have somebody to come home to.

(01:37):
And I think about it all the time, like, oh,
I can't wait to get home, but.

Speaker 5 (01:41):
Then see each other, you know you guys probably yeah,
you feel the same.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
It's nice to miss each other.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Yeah, yeah, it's a good thing.

Speaker 6 (01:47):
Well it's not it's not new. It's not this new
thing like used to a long time ago. And I
do this a lot like back in the old days,
like guys went out on these hunting excursions, and I'm
not using that as an excuse to go out on
more hunting excerpts.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
You're going on tomorrow, you leave tomorrow for a hunting excursion.

Speaker 6 (02:03):
Is actually we're not supposed to be around each other
twenty four to seven all day, three sixty five. Like
that absence is supposed to be a good thing.

Speaker 5 (02:12):
Yeah, And I'm an extroverted introvert, you know, so I
like that a long time too, to kind of recharge.

Speaker 6 (02:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (02:18):
So it's nice. Okay, good balance.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Okay, okay, okay, okay, so the distance keeps it hot.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Okay, we got some calling questions, right, nothing's going to
be better than take Caroline.

Speaker 7 (02:31):
My name is Willie, and first of all, I just
want to tell you how much I love your podcast.
Thank you so much for all of the great entertainment.
My question for you is if you could interview one
artist who was alive during your lifetime but is no
longer alive. Which artists would that be? And why keep

(02:53):
up great work?

Speaker 2 (02:54):
That was my brother in law.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
He's the best. Oh well, I said this. I sent
out all this like because I'm starting this call carolling
questions out a bunch of friends and family.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
I love that, Willie, Hey, what's up?

Speaker 7 (03:07):
Bro?

Speaker 1 (03:09):
If I could, and then I'm gonna ask you guys,
I'm gonna turn this on you guys in a different way.
If I could interview one person, I don't have that desire. Honestly.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
I feel I have loved.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
Just learning stories like I love learning stories of people
who've been in the fire, you know, and are still
going for their dreams. And I feel like I have
learned so much from every interview that I've done that
I think that I don't have like one particular person
in mind that would be it for me, just because

(03:44):
I think there's I think everyone is interesting, you know,
but I mean, I guess like I do love Celene.

Speaker 5 (03:50):
Deyonn and my friend clos Are Selin Selin Sonny.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
I already have sunny listening to what she calls Shoween.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
Shuan, no we hear.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
But now, but Selene can't sing right now and like
to hear her journey, like to have the stiff person's disease,
which is so rare, and like, you know, I mean,
I think I would probably say I would love to
interview Shaween Treonen if you okay, so I'm gonna turn
on you guys, Drake, if you could sing with one
person who would be an Alex. If you could prepare
a meal and have a dining experience Opra Oh I

(04:24):
forgot about Oprah.

Speaker 5 (04:25):
If I could cook and hang out and just talk
and chat and have a glass of wine and Oprah
and Gail just have them over and chit chat. Oh yeah,
that goes back to my teacher day's watching her when
I'd get home from teach me every.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Day, Oprah every day, the Oprah Winfree Show.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Okay, I feel you on that too, I would love
to have an interview with Oprah. Actually, I would love
to have an interview that I'm gonna I'm gonna switch.

Speaker 5 (04:46):
You get her and girl and then we'll do it
all together.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
We can get together, Okay, Drake, if you could perform
with one person like dead or I mean alive, dead
and a life.

Speaker 6 (04:59):
Okay, I'm kinda gonna take the same stance as you
on that, like I. As far as like people anything
like this, this could we live in a time where
it's very possible. I mean something, one thing happens and
and then you're singing. You know you're doing this. So

(05:19):
I've always thought that if Bruno did.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
Something country.

Speaker 6 (05:27):
Like, I just like the funkier side of things, and
I've always wanted, you know, to collab in some some form.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
So there's that.

Speaker 6 (05:38):
As far as as far as dead, because of the
the really the spirituality of it, I've got this song
called if I Could Have a Drink and one of
the one of the people that all the all the
guys that are past passed on with this, but Johnny
Cash would probably be the the one that's this passed

(06:00):
on because of the redemption.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
That he had later in his life.

Speaker 6 (06:04):
I mean, he went through all these addictions and all
this stuff, and then later, you know, just hearing the
questions that I would have, you know, prepared for him,
and hopefully, you know what the wisdom he'd be able
to impart. That's I'm all about the way they would leave,
you know, the wisdom that they would leave. So I

(06:25):
think Bruno would be really cool today. And I think
Johnny would be really cool to talk to and do
a gospel song with him.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
Okay, I think we got one more.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
Hey, what's up, Drake. It's your buddy Michael Hobby. And
I'd like to know how you keep such a positive
attitude and stay so motivated and driven after everything thing
that you've been through, you know, personally and professionally in
this life.

Speaker 6 (07:08):
Well, I mean it's it goes back to kind of
our interview. I mean, there's nothing I cannot take credit
for that. It's something I get up and I work
out every day. I Mean, I've got a sticky note
on my mirror every every night, every every morning that
I look at that says, you know, think positively thoughts
about think positive thoughts about yourself, Say positive things about yourself,

(07:30):
Say good things are going to happen. Know that people
are for you, not against you, and it will come.
I say, we are magnets for all things good. We
do not chase, we attract. Love comes to us easy,
and what is meant to find us will simply find us.
I say that every day, every single day, and it
is a grind, Michael and I don't always do a

(07:55):
good job at it. I feel a lot at being positive.
But if my brand is positive, you know, what the
outside world sees is positive and what the music reads,
a lot of it reads, is positive. But it is
a constant kind of therapy session in my head of
what am I going to do with this thought?

Speaker 3 (08:17):
What am I going to do? Is it true? Is
it not?

Speaker 6 (08:20):
And as far as like what I've been through, like
I think it's a superpower to learn how to flip
everything that happens bad for good. Oh I'm I'm glad
I'm going through this because now I'm going to be
a vessel for somebody else to get through something. And
I've had so many people talk about, you know, making

(08:42):
it through suicidal thoughts because of a song, and I'm like,
are you kidding me?

Speaker 3 (08:46):
Like that?

Speaker 6 (08:47):
That's amazing. So number ones are great, They would be great.
I don't know what it feels like, Michael. Maybe you
could tell me what that feels like. But I think
the bigger thing for me. And I'm not just saying
this because this is a warm and sunshiny thing. It's
like when somebody says that they didn't commit suicide because

(09:11):
this song helped them get through this part of life
and gave them hope. Then that's why I know that
I'm still doing it for the right reasons and I'm
still supposed to do it, you know, and you know
that's it.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
And I want to add to that too. Though your
brand is positive, but like your brand is real, Like
you don't hold back from sharing the truth of it.
And you probably really struggle with these hard thoughts because
God has really put you through some hard things, you know.
So it's like you wouldn't be a human if you
weren't struggling. You can't brush over what's happened to you, guys.
You know you have to get in the fire with it.

(09:47):
And I love that your band was called I don't
know if it stills Drake Whit in the Big Fire.
I mean, you've been in the big fire.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
The whole time.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
Y'all been in the big fire of life. You're not
playing small. So when you get hit, it's hard.

Speaker 6 (09:57):
You know, we're lucky to go through it because I
just think that he gave us these obstacles and these
things because.

Speaker 3 (10:06):
He allowed us to go through them, because he knows
what we'll do with it.

Speaker 6 (10:11):
And if if, if you give me that responsibility, if
that's the way you think of it, that man, you
gave me that responsibility because you knew that I would
be diligent with you know, diligent with with showing.

Speaker 3 (10:26):
People towards you with it. Then I'm uh, we're doing Then.

Speaker 6 (10:30):
I'm really excited because we've been through a lot of
shit like it's it's it's really hard. But at the
same time, we've got a great group of people and
we've got a great.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
Just love for life. Dang it. I do love it.

Speaker 6 (10:46):
I love the seventy five years, ninety two years. I
do love it. I love being a part of it.
I love sunsets and sunrises and beach houses.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
And let's get a beach house, Alexe.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
Have anything you want to add about and now.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
Let's get a beat out.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
Let's get excell the boxes I love it.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
I love it. I love you guys.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
You guys are just the best.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
Y'all are such a testament to like faith and perseverance
and believing in a dream and marriage and working through
the hard stuff and you know, just just soldiering on.
You know, you just keep on, keep on keeping on,
and that baby hawk that you'll have. Happy one year

(11:26):
to that true miracle.

Speaker 3 (11:28):
Helly birthday Hockey.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
