Speaker 1 (00:07):
All the one too sore losers. What up, everybody? My
name is Lunchbox. I know the most of that, so
I'll give you the sports fact okay, my sports opinions.
Because I'm pretty much a sports genius. They call me
the Tom Brady Podcast. Okay, what's up, everybody. I am Eddie,
(00:28):
and I know the least about sports. But I'm your
average sports fan, your sports watcher. I don't know the
who's who's, don't know the what's what's once upon a
time at Corona and I am the number one Dallas
Cowboys fan. What up, y'all? It is season. I'm from
the North. I'm an alpha male. I love the shotgun,
bud light, hard seltzers on the weekend, the West side
(00:48):
of Nashville with my wife Baser and if that ever changes,
you guys be the first to know. Boys over to you.
I mean, do I want to start with the good,
the bad or the ugly? Ugly? The ugly? Saturday? You
guys never showed up to my house. No, because I
watched it another way without spending a dime. Ufc Ray
and Eddie, I'm Friday. I'm coming over. I'm coming over.
(01:10):
I'm coming over. Cut you one of the truth. I
figured you'd be scared because I have a bunch of kids.
They go to school and I sit next to you.
Everything I understand, but I didn't really want to scare
you and your wife and your kids by bringing the
whole troops over. And and no, no no, you wouldn't bring
the whole troops over to watch the fight, well, coach,
and then we wouldn't be able to come. Babysitting right
now is impossible. It's impossible bring you to your kids
(01:35):
stay up till midnight. No no, no, no, no no,
but I would bring them. They would fall asleep in
your bedroom or whatever, and then we would come back up.
I didn't I didn't know all that. But yeah, so UFC.
I watched on the prelimbs on you know what time
do you buy that to watch all that stuff? The
prelimbs are free, Oh yeah, but the but the pre
limbs of the of the main fight though, that's what
(01:56):
like four four matches? Three matches? Yeah, so what time
is that? Nine? Okay? Nine? So I watch all the
free stuff and then you go to buy the pay
per view at nine o'clock Central time, and what happens
air code eric code, air code, credit card, credit card
(02:18):
charged air codes maxed out your card a code will
not load, will not load, not load. I don't know, UFC, ESPN.
They had to know this was gonna be a massive purchase.
There were gonna be tons of people logging onto this
app to watch this fight, and they didn't have their
(02:42):
ducks in a row. It didn't work. You were watching
duck Hunter. It's like having a grand opening. You're opening
a new store store, not during the pandemic. You're opening
a brand new wal morrible, and you've been talking about it.
You've been getting people hyped up. Andy, We're giving away
a hundred TVs be here right when we open, and
then you lose the keys to the damn door. Coach.
(03:04):
That's insensitive for you to do an analogy about businesses opening.
They're only closing their doors right now during this pandemic.
It's it was crazy how they couldn't get these the
fights on. So they're posting highlights like, oh, look at
this awesome fight. Well, no one could see the dang
fight because your app wasn't working. You yell, that sounds
like a refund. You need to be calling them. I
(03:25):
don't know, now or yesterday, so you never it never
came on. It finally came on after two fights. I
finally got in. But there's people that I saw. They
only saw a minute of a fight. Or you want
to call him right now? My brother in law. This
is Jason Gible making business moves, my brother in law.
I had a capo. My brother in law paid for it,
(03:48):
never got to see it, never loaded, it would not load.
Do you want to call UFC right now customer service?
I mean, if they'll answer, call him, because that actually
sounds like a d bit arnold. What's the number UFC MCG.
I just couldn't e go Jackson, listen to the feed
that I had. We'll call it and then maybe we
(04:10):
can run it tomorrow Wednesday, Okay, call I just I
was shocked that they had that many problems, and if
you looked on Twitter, it was trending. I could not
get in. You weren't the only one, well at first
I thought I was, And I was like it worked fine.
When you're watching the free fights, all of a sudden
you pay for it and it won't work. How do
you have that big enough event and have it just
(04:32):
that sounds like refund Central, my man. I mean, that's
what the angle you need to go at with these guys,
Like I want some of my two fights worth the
money back. You need to tell them if they don't
refund you, there's about to be another main event. It's
you smash was cheaper than usual? Sixty? I don't remember.
I don't know what. I didn't even know you. I mean,
(04:52):
it's I just look. I assume it's the same every time.
I don't think so. I think it's cheaper because usually
I see the eighty dollars, I'm like, I can't do
eighty dollars for a I just can't do it. But
then I saw sixty, and I was like, oh, maybe
it's sixty. After the fight started, I don't know. I
mean maybe it was. Oh wait, we're having problems, so
we'll make it look better. We'll put sixty up there.
And so how can they tell if you actually got
to watch the fight? You can just call and are
(05:13):
they gonna have to refund everybody? Guys, listen. I used
to work and tell the marketing when we sold the fights.
All the way up until UFC one hundred, I was
a seller of the fights. People call in there's no
way to know anything. There is maybe in hey, you
didn't call during the fight and the technical issues, so
I could deny you. But if you call in, say
that it was glitch in this that the other, it's
(05:35):
a partial credit quarter credit. They're going to give you
something back, give you something right? What do you want back?
I mean, but why I can just tell my I
I could never see the fight. You need to start
it a year for free. They'll be able to prove that, right, Ray.
But years we're talking ten years when you worked in
(05:55):
this ago or ago because coach I didn't last ten months.
I know you got I know they escorted you out,
and you gotta escort out. What I'm saying is, would
they be able to tell that I actually got the
fights at some point? Uh? If they decide to transfer
it over the technical side, that they can, but I
would just handle it on my own. I can give
you credit. You're not gonna get a ray. The Ray employees,
(06:18):
they don't last. They're so yes, they're they're gonna see
that you watch it for three damn hours and there
was a slight glitch and they're like, okay, we'll give
you five dollars. Honest coach, be honest and go with
a plan to get two fights worth the money. But like,
also we see here you went over to skin Amax
around twelve a me. I'm losing your phone connection real quick.
(06:39):
So anyway, I mean, so I finally did get in
and I got to watch Connor McGregor, and you want
to talk about crap in the bed? Hey, Connor, what
the hell was that? He kept? More? Put it best?
And I think the tweet speaks for itself. Girl to
come always satin sheets will turn an out the cat
(07:00):
into a house cat. Happen It's over hashtag UFC. What
he's saying is that before he was poor and hungry
and scrappy. Hey, now he's got scratch, he's sleeping and
satin sheets a little comfortable. He's the callus is in
his hands are gone. Now he can't fight anymore? Is
(07:22):
not there? I mean, the once there, he wants it,
but he didn't add the hunger is not there anymore.
The want is what's what gets you there. But but
the once you reach that pinnacle, it's hard to stay motivated. Okay, boys,
but he he knocked out Cowboy with his shoulder in
eight seconds, like last year, there's no difference. He was
(07:43):
a billionaire, a millionaire last year. There's no difference between
last year and this year. I think the main difference
of this fight, and I watched it from a distance,
but it's that one. I mean a lens through a
lens to the spring. Yeah, here stream for sure, for sure.
And and so it was a little far from me
(08:06):
to really understand or see the details of it. But
it felt like McGregor if he would have lasted the
first round, if he would have knocked him out in
the first round, he would have won for sure, because
because even knocked out now, but POORI what's who finish
up what you're trying to say, could have lost the
fight in the first round. I thought Connor had a
chance to finish it in the first round. And then
(08:27):
when he didn't he couldn't walk. Then then that was
trouble because after the first round, Um McGregor looked like
he was vulnerable, a little tired, little sluggish. And then
that's where Pera and he said his leg was like
he couldn't stand on that leg because he hit him
with so many calf kicks on that front that lead leg,
so he his leg was dead, and I think that
(08:47):
the book. I hope it's not. I hope it's not
the end, but I think I think that the writing
is out there. You take him to the game, you
take him to the ground, or you kick his front leg,
and he can't do anything, and he doesn't. He's not
a good wrestler. And I just how old it was sad?
I start two young, still young, but I mean we
(09:10):
definitely saw the weakness for sure. Man, it was so sad.
And I think part of Connor McGregor's aura and what
he is all about is the spectacle. I think, you know,
people have never seen a Connor McGregor in the UFC,
So when they're going into the ring with Connor McGregor,
they were already mentally defeated because all the hoop law
and the craziness and all the trash talk and everything
(09:31):
around him, and people didn't know how to handle that.
Now it's been a few years and like, okay, we're
kind of used to it by now, but he's still
the only big trash talk well right, but I'm saying
they're like, okay, same old thing, we've seen this before,
same story, same ending, whatever. And I think he is
one of those ones that really benefits from the raucous
(09:53):
crowd because the crowd is on his side. And it
was fight Island, so it's just them. Know, there was
like two thousand people, all right, and that's something, dude,
it's something. But it's not a packed Vegas arena all
channing Loo notorious. Not like when me and Eddie were
(10:13):
here in Nashville. Squirrels that guy behind this five ys like, yeah,
squirrel and then you slowly see security guards. I'm gonna
shut that guy up. Shut that guy, sir, you shut up. Yeah.
So I don't know. I think Connor it maybe we
(10:33):
may see the end of Connor and he hand picked
this upon and we saw the end of Connor. Right,
I mean, he's gonna he's gonna go back in the
ring for millions five million dollars. He was. He still will,
but I mean we're not going to be as interested
now because I will because I want to see you.
I want to see if he'll go back to the
lab and try to figure it out if he really
does have that hunger. What he's good the chemistry experiment
(10:57):
around a little bit of CEO two one there and
a little bit I want to not because he said,
he goes that won't work. And in the post fight
interview he was talking about he goes, man, in this business,
you just can't have that much time off. Now, how
he said it? Tell me you know, activity sound? How
(11:18):
does he sound? How does he sound? No? I don't
even know what he said. He said. He said, listen,
you have to be active in this business. This much
time off, it just you can't have that. I didn't
have years off, is that what it was? He had
one year year? So it's been a long time. Nobody
got better after that pandemic. McGregor's a case in point. Okay,
it was a tough on all of that's true. They
(11:39):
probably couldn't go to the gym because I mean nothing
was sterilized and they were scared of Corona. Well, he
can go to the gym, but live fight action is
totally different than a training session. You real, UFC didn't
really skip a beat. But he hadn't fought, That's what
I'm saying. And he's saying I need more fights to
keep me sharp, and he wasn't. He he didn't feel
like you know, these guys climbing the ladder, they've like
(12:00):
four times, five times a year. I didn't realize crazy
and they don't get paid much. I know when they're
when you're in the lower wrongs because I watched a
lot of Fight Night and then I'll be like, dude,
three weeks ago, this dude was fighting. This is crazy.
That's what's wild. That that that's what's weird. So fight
worth it or no? Pretty good fight? Nobody predicted that.
(12:21):
Everybody was saying McGregor. I mean, McGregor was a three
hundred negative three D favorite. It was increasing he was
getting more of a favorite as the fight was nearing.
It it was disappointing. It was like, wow, that was
that was what I got all hyped up for. But
when it happened, when it was the fight was over
because he knocked out, what did you do lunch crap?
(12:41):
You didn't see anything all loud? You weren't like, yeah
that was cool. No, because I was cheering for Connor.
But but because I like Connor, I did two I
did too. But let's be real, that's a cool ending
to a fight that's been built up that Connor is
gonna win again. Connor is gonna win again the last time.
They mean, oh my gosh, the last thing, you know,
ten seconds or whatever like that was cool. I I
saw it on my third third party app, So what
(13:04):
did you? Did you watch on your phone or your TV?
On my phone? So he really couldn't. Yeah, I tried
to do it sideways and it was still kind of
a little bit, but I saw what was happening. But
when it ended, coach, I was like, that was a
good fight. That was cool. Yeah, it was what was
it in? You got what ten minutes of fight action
or was it more than that? Two rounds? Coach? Yeah,
the middle of the second round and if you watched it,
(13:26):
it's almost fifteen minutes. Did you watch Michael Chandler? No,
I only watched mcgragor. You only watched McGregor. So this dude,
he's had this lot of hype. He was I think
he was the fight before Connor McGregor, and this hype.
He hadn't been in the UFC. He's been fighting to
get there, get there, and he gets a big opponent
first match, and he comes in and knocks this dude
(13:46):
out and he does a black backflip off the cage.
They interview, He's like, all right, Connor could be and
you ever grace your prices. I am here, I am
ready calls out the entire division, and I loved it.
I was just like this dude, I like, if I
would have seen, like if I was a betting man,
I would have picked the other guy. And then when
(14:07):
I saw them, like the preview, like the clip about
I've been fighting to get here. No one believed I'd
ever make it to the UFC, and I've been just fighting,
fighting and waiting my time, and here I am, and
I'm here to make a statement. Right then, I would
have put all my money on that on him because
I was like, oh my god, he wants it. He
has lost it all on the McGregor fight. But that's
what I'm saying. He had the fight, he the hunger
(14:29):
because he hadn't been there yet. Yes, So it's interesting
to say that my wife is about ninety percent at
picking fighters. I mean, I'm telling you, tell her to
come over my house next Saturday night. She's not going
to your house alight Thursday night. Fine, it's just Saturday. Hey.
(14:49):
She looks at she has to see footage, not footage,
a live shot of them, and usually it's the one
before the fight. There in the dressing room doing little
jabs and everything, and she says, and I don't really
know how to translate this, She says, she just knows,
but she looks into their eyes and she sees the hunger.
Whoever wants it more, not whoever's got a longer reach,
not whoever's got not a better record. She says, I
(15:12):
can see it in their eyes. And because she's about
ninety percent when she picks this. So you make a
lot of money on UFC fight, I do, but I
don't only bet like four dollars five dollars a match.
But if you're I mean usually when I lose on
Fridays and Saturday's college basketball, college football back when that,
I mean, I would make everything back up on Saturday night.
What did she say with the Conner fight. She didn't
watch it. We didn't watch. She couldn't see their eyes
(15:34):
because Eddie was watching three d devices. I watched that myself.
My wife predicts all the UFC matches except for the
biggest one. She didn't break that one to coach. I
didn't buy the match. She was already asleep when they
fought that win. Did that go down? You're crazy, dude, dude, yeah,
it's late. And it was like, fell asleep at six
(15:55):
o'clock on Saturday night. I mean, I didn't see anything
like I mean I really even the prelimp I woke
up anytime. It's always a funny thing whenever I checked
my phone on Sunday morning. So I was like, oh God,
what do we got here? And it's always a surprise
in sports, crazy text from friends, this video, it's always
a surprise on Sunday. And this Sunday did not disappoint.
It was you missed the games. Yeah, because that was
(16:17):
on Saturday. That was on Sunday, right, the games were
on Sunday. He went to bed at Saturday at six.
I know, But what time do you go to bed
on Sunday six? Well, yeah, that was the same thing.
When I went to bed, it was ninety nothing Buffalo,
And I was like, well, let's see what see hold on,
hold on you you were at the park in this dude, fellows,
I went to the park. There was no park yesterday.
(16:38):
You want to know my famous last words, I said
to wife, Uh, nine nothing Buffalo. That's crazy. Pits is
gonna be pissed tomorrow that night. I'll see in the
morning then that was it. And then I guess, so
should we talk about Green Bay Tampa Bay first? Then
you didn't watch Kansas City. You can go home after
after we talked about Green Bay. I mean, wow, that
(16:59):
was gonna tell you that was a really good game
to watch. It was. It was a really good game.
You watch the whole game, entire game good well for
the one time I picked up a toy. Yes, I
watched the entire game. I had to go to the
grocery store. There was there was nothing to leave. You
gotta understand I left last weekend because they're looking at
the game. There was no chance the Browns could come
(17:21):
back against the Chiefs. This Aaron Rodgers has is Aaron Rodgers,
so I thought, yes, they can come back. They both
quarterbacks and it was fun to watch. They both played
really well. A little too many interceptions for me. I'm like, guys,
come on, like, you guys are are the greatest. Aaron
(17:42):
Rodgers only through one I know, I'm saying total threw
a solid three. Coach. I'm saying for the top two
quarterbacks of our league, like you guys are gonna throw
that many picks? Well, Bradyectly one of them. He got
a little greedy. He tried to throw and Aaron Jones,
you're gonna fumble all the like what he got drilled
the nuts coach three he fumbled three times. One of
(18:02):
them got recovered. But I mean, maybe it's too but
the Brady he first half he played lights out. It's
I mean, just came out gunning, smoking on the fire,
just everyone, just dark, dark dark. The one he laid
over the top to accuracy is unbelievable. And that was
(18:23):
a lob. That was a lobby just got his sad. Beautiful.
You couldn't have put it in his hands. You could, coach,
if you walked right up to Mike Evans and put
in his hands and be better. No, you couldn't have
dropped it in there any better. That's what they always say. Awesome,
so great second half he starts, if you're a bettman,
it was unfortunate that final play in the first half.
(18:45):
If you're a batman at that point, you know you're
not gonna win the Packers side of the bet. I mean,
how the hell does that happen? Okay, the announcers even
put it the best. They said, if you're a defender,
all you have to do is stay behind him. That's
your only job. They can catch it. They're always going
to be in bounce. There's never to be a time
explain him what you're talking about. They let him go
over the top and he got burned. He went The
(19:06):
one thing you can't let happen is a guy get
behind you. Anything else can happen. Because they had no
time out left, you gotta do his tackle him. I mean,
when that happens and you're a better you're like, okay,
But my whole thing is I thought about that too,
and I'm like, remember how they got so mad at
the Jets defensive coordinator when he called all out blitz
when the game against the Raiders and the Raiders throw
(19:27):
a bomb and they score touchdown, they win when no
time left on the clock. Everybody's like, how could you
call it all out blits? Why would you not just
play a zone? Just put everybody back on the twenty
and say catch the ball in front of me. You're
not gonna go past me because it's the seconds left.
So I think they're gonna get closer for field goal rate, Okay,
that's fine, but instead you're gonna go one on one
and that dude said, Oh, I don't think little Scotty.
(19:49):
Oh god, let Scott Miller. I got burned like toast.
I mean, he got just just absolutely smart. Dude is
no longer playing football come tomorrow. King more like he's dethroned. Wow,
he's like prince now. I was no a prince, like
not a king, prince different than the king. Yeah, he's
like the kid. Oh anyway, anyway, you couldn't have if
(20:10):
you're Tom Brady, you couldn't have asked for a better start. Yes,
every at halftime going into like it is now Tom
Brady's super Bowl, it's his right now. And then Aaron
Jones comes out. First possession fumble, next play, touchdown. He
was like, oh god, is this gonna get out of hand?
Then you knew the Packers were gonna come back. Yes,
Then Brady got a little Grady threw it into double
coverage down the right side interception. I wouldn't say greedy coach.
(20:32):
He was making really weird decisions when he was pressured,
like like a couple of the two two picks where
we're just like, oh crap, throw it. When when well
name was picked him another time like he threw some
not great backs. It was almost just like us, like
throw it. Oh my god, when he threw into double coverage.
(20:53):
That that was a horrible interception, right. Well, the one
that I'm trying to think which one you're talking about
is I think it was the third quarter. He got
a little greedy and it was in the right hand side,
and it was just like it wasn't even closed. And
then the momentum swung a little because Aaron Rodgers takes
him down right right down the field for a touchdown,
and then he throws another pick on the right hands
the sideline going on the right side. That one was
(21:14):
a little more. It was third down. I don't want
to take the sack. I'm gonna throw it deep, and
it's it really was basically a punt because they weren't
if they didn't, if he got sacked, it was four down.
They were gonna punt anyway. But it's a punt either way,
like he's down there, down there at the eighteen yard line,
so it's not really it wasn't. It didn't hurt them.
(21:35):
That's the thing about the Tom Brady interceptions. They were
they weren't in scoring position. The Packers, the Aaron Rodgers
interception was right at midfield. The Aaron Jones fumble was
at the eighteen nineteen yard line, so they were both
in the where they could score points immediately. So they
Brady interceptions didn't hurt them as much because they were
(21:57):
bad field position when they got the ball back. So
so with those turnovers, I mean Brady did get some gifts.
I mean he did. They won the game fair and square.
Yes that's what the final boxer said. But but I
mean Brady was given some small presence. I mean the
defender getting burned right before halftime, I mean that was
a gift, like that defender but he still had to
(22:19):
throw the ball. But that's not a that's not a gift.
But also the defender wasn't within like the defender made
a horrible read, Like the defender didn't know you can't
get you gotta get back on that. That that was
a I mean that that's probably a fireable offense. That
was a slight gift Brady in in the direction of
(22:40):
going to the Super Bowl. He got some small, little
help along the way. But then let's get to the
really craziest part of the game. We thought, we thought,
we thought the UFC had a bad night like not
being able to load their app and people be able
to watch the fights. And then Matt Laflour said, here,
hold my beer, I'm gonna kick a field goal. Dude.
There's two minutes left, bro, and you're down to score. Bro.
(23:03):
You need to bro, Bro, you have to have a
touchdown a field goals. You're still not within a field goal?
Are you looking at the clock? Bro? Bro? You realize
you have to play then a perfect set of downs
against Tom Brady, right, he only has to complete one
pass and you guys pretty much lose. You get that, right, bro? Boys,
I'm gonna be real with you. You You know, sometimes I
I rewind in commercials or something and they'll go back
(23:25):
look at place and I forget to go live again,
and I'm like, oh crap, I'm really behind. I need
to go to Live TV so I can know where
the game is at that moment. When I saw the
kicker go on, Crosby, I was I was like, uh
am I live? Am I step on the third quarter
going on? Here? Coach? I was like, why is Rogers
not fighting this? Why is Rogers cool with them just
kicking right now? And then the announcers they started, They're like,
(23:47):
oh crap, we gotta be in an uproar because this
is obvious that the announcers like Aman goes, uh, you
should not be kicking a field goal. It's like Eigman
got an index card. As bad as it was on
second and third down, I thought Rogers both times could
have run it in the end zone. He could have
run it on third down. What in the hell was
he doing another one have a little bit more court sense,
(24:09):
field sense, whatever. And even if he just runs it
for four or five yards, he gets down to the three,
then it's a really you're really going to go for it,
and he threw it in double coverage and it was
just like, probably not the best decision. And gosh, if
you're a better, these are always the things they go
against you, that touch down before the half, the field goal,
(24:31):
the Rodgers not running it in the end zone when
you're a better, when you're a damn better, that stuff
always happens. I'm like, you know what, I know he
didn't run it because the game and I agree, I
think he had to go for it on fourth and
eight from the eight had to go for it. Some mathematicians,
if you look at it it was really only a
five percent difference um with their chance to win going
for it. You were like chance to win not getting
(24:51):
a touchdown, not going for it and kicking the field
and on the math. I also love the field position
because if you had missed it, they would have been
back in to their own end zone. That would have
been a lot better. I mean, and they and the
coach's decision, he said, we still we still had a
two minute warning and our three time outs, so it's
(25:13):
really like we had four time outs to stop them
and get the ball back. I get it, but I mean,
but they just never got the ball back. And then
the Tampa Bay guy goes down with two two oh
two less gives him an extra time out? Are you doing?
These are NFL players, And they didn't a coach and say,
hey man, remember we want you to go down. Assume
(25:35):
they know that. Broy, the coach probably like, I don't
have to tell him that he knows that. I mean,
because I thought, okay, perfect, And at first I was like, okay,
Tampa's obviously a Green Bay is gonna kick it out
of the end zone because you want to touch back there.
And they didn't kick it out of the end zone,
I'm like okay. And then the guy runs it out.
I'm like, okay, good, that's gonna go to the two
minute warning. And he sees the defending the defenders coming
(25:56):
and he slides down. At first I thought maybe he
but the replay clear clearly shows he just slides because
he doesn't want to get hit and he wants to
hold on the ball. And I'm like, that could come
back to cost you, that could be just stupid. But
it didn't matter. And if I can find a weakness
in the in the Tampa Bay game plan is that
as soon as a defender looks like he has any
(26:19):
kind of chance to get Brady, Brady's gonna fall down
or throw it away, or even throw it in the
middle of the field where there's four defenders. I mean,
they never really got to Brady. They really didn't. But
how many times did you fall down thinking they were
or throw the ball in panic? I mean, Brady is
in a weird mind frame right now. He knows that
he's not gonna elude the rush that he needs to
(26:40):
get rid of it. Just live to play another down,
that's it. Live to play another down, That's what he does.
He just falls down and says, hey, you know what,
this one's lost and lucky though whatever that he made
that one crazy catch because Brady is gonna kill him. Hey,
how okay, did you guys notice this? Like this is
where I start seeing like, oh crap. This is really
the inside deep stuff of inside a team. The team
(27:03):
watched Godwin coach And that's the one that I really
stuck out to me because when he had that pass
in his hands, just didn't catch it. The eyes go
straight to Brady when you do something wrong at home,
like when you were a kid, what do you look at? Crap?
His mom and dad mad at me. Dude, mom and
dad was about to kill their kids. I mean anyone
evans uh for net anytime they dropped the past, they're like,
(27:25):
oh shoot, shot, he's gonna hit me and you can
feel it. They'll watch it one on one. Brady through
it was a missile to Miller, Scotty Miller, and he
looked at Miller and goes, that's a little hot hot. No, no,
he laughed at that one, because he he laughed at that.
He laughed as a little hot like my bad, like
he was acknowledging I threw that a little too hard.
(27:46):
Maybe I'm thinking the Evans one that got picked because
it was over his hands or whatever. He jumped and
he was too high, but that was because he jumped,
and it's off his fingertips. So if he didn't even
get it with him jumping, who is six five six six?
But Brady, I know he's a leader, and I know
(28:07):
he's got to be strict, and I who know he
yells at his receivers and all that, but he's gotta understand.
You saw it in God when if you take that
confidence away from your receiver, not let him be him,
which I think has happened to Evans, because heavens, why
does Evans look like such a scared animal right now?
Evans looks like a freaking rookie. He looks like ceedee lamb,
I guess what it works? Are going to the freaking
(28:29):
super I understand, but Coach, those could have been detrimental
like those. You have to be disciplined and you have
to be understand but the receiver needs confidence. Evans used
to be cocky with Jamis Winston. He's not anything now
he just goes out and catches the ball and puts
his tail between his legs. And that's what Brady wants
because he wants you to be dialed in and it's
not about the show boat and it's about putting out
and I gotta put it out, putting out productions. That's
(28:50):
all they he cares about. We don't need to be showboating.
Let's just keep going and keeping. But we got to
give a shout out to the Tampa Bay defensive line.
They no, but they shack. Barrett was Rogers Grill all night.
He was up in his here, Paul all up in
Rogers grill. They did Sue Sue. Sue was up in
(29:10):
his chili all night. Dude. I mean that Tampa defen
has played really well. That defensive line caused Aaron Rodgers
a lot of props. It was great. It was a
good game. Great game we got even though Brady through
some interceptions. I thought he got a couple of gifts. Guys.
I gotta givet props. Dude, just lead the team in
the Super Bowl. Really, I'm a Brady hater. I have
always been a Brady hater just because I don't like
(29:32):
giving someone that much credit. But as human, but you
really can't, like you can't, you can't deny it, but
hurry and jump on that line while it's three and
a half. Coach, I already got I'm telling you I got.
I I got Tampa Bay at plus eleven hundred plus
eleven hundred because I picked him to win the Super
Bowl like a month ago. Well, so you're on the
other side of the three and a half. I'm saying
the minus three to half like the Chiefs coach, I
(29:54):
think it could be. It's real quick. Before we move on,
I want to say something about Brady that he did
was I thought it was incredible. At the very end
of the game, they're interviewing foot son. He said by
to his son or hi to his son. No, I
didn't care about that. It was like, oh, look at
how cool that is. Like guys, he told the cameman
to follow him. He was like watching the I'm gonna
run to my son. And what I loved is they
(30:14):
were doing the trophy presentation. They're asking him these questions
he's and he's like, he stops, He goes, why don't
we get some of these other guys up here? Like
he was loved it, loved it, absolutely love, like, like you,
what's your name? Man? What position do you play. Yeah,
come on, come on, what do you digs? You watched
the trophy presentation I did to coach? I like the
(30:35):
trophy president. It's actually pretty cool. It was very odd
because there wasn't a lot of people there and yeah,
and they had the whole team back and one person
in the microphone, and they kept asking Brady questions and
finally just goes, why don't we get someone up here
like Bruce? Come on, Bruce, who's the head coach? And
the transition loved it. This is what I'm thinking. I
think Bruce needs a demotion. I love Bruce. I think Bruce.
Whatever he gets, Bruce cut it in half and then
(30:57):
take the bottom half and then cut that in half.
And that's what you pay him. Because obviously Arians isn't
doing crap right. Tom's coach. Tom needs to double his
salary for head coach slash quarterback, and then Arians needs
to because they had him quote Arians saying, sometimes I
just sit back and let watch Tom Brady coach. What what?
(31:18):
You're the head coach of this team and you let
Tom Brady to be your coach? Is also kind of
lost because he goes, yeah, when he played for the Patriots,
Tom didn't get to call the shots a lot of
the time. Yeah, because that's your job. No, No, he
called the shots all the time. He called some shots
and he listened. How about the decision? Fourth and one
into the first half. Brady comes off the field and
(31:38):
he puts the jacket on and then you get back
out there. But I was like, yeah, let's go. That's guts,
that's ball. And that was arians call because you can
tell that Brady was ready to put the jacket on
and he's like, what we're going for? Okay, all right,
let's go. Because the kickers like, dude, I ain't making No.
fIF seven? Well they were gonna punt, they were, but
(32:00):
then they went for it and it was like, oh yeah,
alright right in the Super Bowl. Aaron Rodgers heartbroken, not
saying all that's said about that. Aaron Rodgers wasn't even frustrated.
When they go field, go, He's like, okay, cool, I'll
go chill on the probably he was probably steaming inside,
steaming he was. But why don't you you gotta like yell.
Don't you see some quarterbacks yell at the coach when
(32:20):
that happens? Yeah, you see some people get upset Why
was there no backlash? He never does that, he said.
He said, look, I thought I was gonna have four
shots at it, but you know the coach made the decision,
and I would have liked to add a more more shot. Now,
then we go to the a FC. I didn't watch
that one. I thought the building, I thought the Bills won.
It was nine or nothing. When I went to bed,
(32:42):
You went to bed. Thing in the Bill were going
to super Bowl? Oh boy, let me tell you that
was the That was the best the Chiefs looked all year.
And their speed was just unreal. That's why you gotta
think the Super Bowls. Their speed was just it's really incredible.
The speed eat on that team was on full display.
(33:02):
They don't really have a running back that's any good.
But didn't they do much. But they do the sweets
with no man that Williams did. It's pretty crazy with
hard men. They go with Tyreek Hill this way. I
mean they run these To watch all the pre snap
action and motion that the Chiefs do is really fun
to watch. Yeah, that's what they should be doing. These
are professional athletes. They should get creative and cute and
(33:25):
all that. These coaches that run plays that they that
were ran back in the sixth. If you want to
play that looks like an NFL films, then you shouldn't
be a coach. You gotta get creative, like I love
like when Tyreek Hill goes in motion and then and
then there's no way you can cut on a dime
as fast as him. And they just tossed out whoa
(33:46):
fifty yards down the side. That is Those are some
of my favorite plays. Andy Reid and being I mean,
their creativity is very fun to watch, and it was
on display yesterday and it was the best they've looked
all season. That was an ex explosive game. I saw
the highlights. I'm not gonna be able to speak to
the ins and outs of it, But whow can Kansas
City score? They didn't score anything the first quarter? They
(34:08):
put up thirty eight points in three quarters. No, they
played four quarters. They just didn't. They couldn't score in
the first feel like they put up thirty eight and
three or watched but he's saying they didn't put any
in the first They put thirty up in three. Well,
but you gotta understand he watched the fifteen minute highlight reel,
so it looked to him. It looks like they just
spit out thirty eight points in minutes. But go ahead,
(34:32):
keep going. What you guys are the breakdown. I only
saw when the Bills were ahead. I thought the Mafia
was headed to the super Bowl. I said night, good night,
Bay Pitts is gonna be piste in the morning. I
don't think it was the situation of the Bills just suck.
Like the Bills are a great team, and I cannot
wait to see what they do next year. I think
I think they're they need another wide receiver, rub I
(35:00):
think they need another wide receiver, and they need a
running game. I mean, Devin Singletary, come on. I mean,
I like what they have because Josh Allen, you never
know what he's gonna keep the ball. When he does run,
he runs for twenty yards, like Josh Allen takes some
terrible sacks. He lost fifty because he's the thirty year quarterback.
He runs backwards thirty yards and gets sacked, like throw
(35:23):
what don't you think about that? Though? Like stupid, no, no, no,
Why did they blow the whistle when he clearly could
have gotten out of that. I mean, he may have
not gotten out of it. The one where he goes
back thirty yards. There was a bunch of there was
like three of them. If you're talking about the fight,
they had him ben over doggy style. What they showed
that in the highlights what you watch that skin mask
(35:46):
they were in Jersey. That was the one on Nickelodeon. No,
I'm talking about the fight when maybe it was the
last one. Because he's in the ground and they want
to protect him from getting hurt. It doesn't matter it's
it's it's Josh Allen. They get out of that. They
do that to protect him because when someone holds him
up like that, that's when someone comes in and tattoos.
Somebody get hurt rye. And then when a running back
(36:07):
is is got the whole team, dragging the whole team
and they're still still running and running running called the
whistle that. I don't think office in linement should be
able to run up from behind and push the pile
has done. Grown man should not be able to go
up behind another man. But yes, Josh, Josh, Josh Allen
takes some of the dumbest sacks. I mean, he just
goes I understood. But Patrick Mahomes is a year older
(36:29):
than him and he doesn't run thirty yards backwards and
get sacked three or four times in the game. It's
second and three and next thing you know, it's third
and thirty two. Because Josh Allen took a thirty yards
sans football right there, we know those downs and distances real. Well, um,
are you are you ready to say that the Chiefs
are way better than you thought they were? No? I said,
I've told you they're good, but they're not as good
(36:50):
as they were last year. I still believe that. But
this was the best they looked this year. Yesterday was
the best they've looked at all season. Is their defense better?
Now you've seen him two games two games and brow
their defense have stepped up huge, and so they're better. Well,
their defense was good, but they're gonna win. I don't
know yet. I need two weeks for a while. You
can go to practice, check come out. I'm gonna think
(37:12):
about the defense. Is the equipment match? It's hard to
I don't know what you're gonna do when you when
you defend the Kansas City offense. Oh, you stay on no,
because you double team and you put people outside because
of the speed, which leaves Travis Kelsey wide open over
the middle and you just eat you alive, chunk chunk,
(37:33):
chunk chunk twenty yards, fifteen yards, eighteen yards, twelve yards,
or do you take away kelsey and play your guys
one on one and the outside and think they can
keep up with those speedsters. I don't know what you do.
And that's the that's the interesting thing. Then, Buffalo, you
have big balls that first drive, fourth and two from
your own fourt that actually showed they wanted to play
(37:53):
some balls. You go for it fourth and three later
in the drive, you go for it. Why then all
this and when you get down to the three yard
line and it's fourth and goal, do you kick a
field goal? If you're gonna be ballsy with fourth down?
You know the Chiefs score touchdowns. You can't settle for
field goals when you're at the three yard line and
the six yard line and you're you're kicking field goals.
(38:17):
You just can't do that. If it's fourth and three
from the three, go for the damn thing you got
on the coach? You got so conservative. Look, I watched
the first game and I had a lot of questions
on why they were doing things. The second game, I hadn't.
I mean, who cares. There was no There was no
chance for anyone. Like it was the game. It was
twenty one to nine and they had six seconds left
in the first half and they're on the way the
(38:39):
playing the Bills and knew they were gonna win that game.
But if they if they go for the touchdown at
the end of the half, it's the game. It wouldn't
have made a difference. It would have I don't think so,
Like when I bet at halftime, was there a chance
for the Bills or was it in your eyes over
at halftime? It was over at half time when they
settled for the field goal when they were on the
three yard line right with six like seconds to go,
(39:00):
fourth and fourth and goal from the three and they
kick a field goal. Yeah, that's pretty weak. Like you
didn't matter. I mean, I get it. You can get
a glimmer of hope in that and maybe change the confidence.
But it didn't matter. The Bills were never gonna win
that game. And what I like to do is I
like to live bet and so so usually I look
at the team it's behind, like the Bills at that point,
and I could just tell though I can by watching
(39:21):
just the game, uh not with no sides, just kind
of mutually watching the game. I can tell the Chiefs
were just they're better, they're playing better, they were gonna
I just knew they were gonna win from the second quarter,
like you just tell when you watch teams. The Bills
are struggling. Josh Allen looks stressed out a little bit.
You just really wasn't making the right calls. The team
wasn't working the d I love the Bills defense, scrappy movement.
(39:44):
I mean they are scrappy. Yeah, but it just they
just got worn out. But speed did you bet it? No, coach,
because I had good bets going in. Okay, so you
live bet expert is able to look at teams and
see which one's gonna win. But you did still didn't bet.
The only way I do live bets if I see
the team that I'm really liking and they're down by like,
(40:04):
you know, fifteen points, around fifteen points, then I'll take
that live bet because I know they make a comeback.
I'm telling you, I couldn't see the Bills making a comeback. Yeah.
So I mean, and Patrick Mahomes, he's just a wizard.
He's he does his ability to evade the rush with
his little step up. He kind of ducks like his
dips his shoulder and slides one step. Why are you
moving your hips like that? Because I'm doing what he
(40:26):
does so smooth. It's so smooth you think you haven't
dead to write, and he just cuts me. Touch me
with your hips one more time and got coach, He's
a wizard. He's just he's really good. I mean, what
can you say? He's a winner. Let's play a game.
(40:51):
What you who's gonna win more Super Bowls in their career?
Patrick Mahomes or Tom Brady. But you gotta go with
Tom bra any because I mean, he's already got him.
He's got the numbers already. I'm gonna go with what's
in front of me already, Tom Brady. I can't bet
on what Mahomes is going to do. Coach. His career
could end in two years. I mean, god forbid, but really,
(41:13):
his career could end at any moment. We've already seen
that Tom's got his six seven six six. If he
has six Mahomes wins, he's got to come on couch.
That's a lot. He's only and if he plays till
he's Brady's age, that's eighteen. Nobody playing at forty three.
I'm telling you Tom Brady is doing the unheard. Yeah,
that game was good in theory, but it's got to
(41:35):
be Brady Mahomie. We've seen it can fall apart with
some domestic abuse. You lose two players on your team
in a blink of an eye. Didn't that happen? I
mean it could be drug charges too, could be murdered,
could be mansould be tax evasion, It could be um
(41:57):
wire fraud. Sure, it would be money laundering, could be
uh health care? Why are you acting weird right where?
I don't know. I don't know what that was, but good.
And Matt Overton tweeted something that he thinks that if
(42:20):
Andy Reid wins, he's going to retire. Okay, coach. Everybody's
an expert. Everybody's making their predictions. Why did nobody predict
Patty Mahomes and Tom Brady in the Super Bowl. I'm
sure somebody did. Yeah, why wouldn't somebody do that? All right?
Maybe somebody did. I mean, yeah, you predicted the chiefs
(42:42):
of the Super Bowl. Matt is randomly saying, some other
guys give me the coach, right, the offensive coordinator. You
know why you did that. Matt's just kind of fishing
out there to get read on his side and then
they can maybe like maybe next year. Like Overton goes
to the Chiefs. Oh, you think he wants the Chiefs.
He just wants time to the spotlight on him real quick. Hey,
read look at me over here. I'm talking about how
(43:04):
good you are. I'm talking about So he thinks winning,
he's out. Yeah, he he rods off into the sunset
and let's be enemy take over his head, coachwhere there
will be a sunset to ride off into. I've never
believed in its coach. It is January February. Not a
lot of suns. Boys. The thing, if I didn't have
a hundred, if I had a hundred kids, I mean,
(43:27):
if you are a smart better put all the money
in the world on the Chiefs. Right now, what's the
line three and a half, because it's probably on the
three already because all the money came in on the
Oh really, so it's down to three. That's what I saw.
Did y'all watch a different game than me? Did Brady
throw the ball over the top? Good to Evans once? Yes,
and to Scotty Miller and to Godwin and he threw
(43:50):
the ball well, like, did he throw some really bad inceps? No?
No, no no, there was a tipped one, not as fault.
It was high, but I mean, still, what are the
chances the right the guy was there fell in his
hands the tip. If he doesn't tip it, it unvolved
to him. There was the panic pick, but that's basically
a punt. It's third down up because you're gonna get
(44:11):
sacked and you're gonna or did you just kind of
come up with that? And what what I mean? I'm
looking at the game. It was third and ages and
you throw it up because if you take the sack there,
it's the same thing. What what did what did Brady
have the entire game? He had a thing called the lead.
If the Chiefs excuse my French, if the Chiefs get
(44:33):
out by ten twelve, I don't know how they get
out by twelve points, the Bucks are completely and I'm
dead serious, Brady can't come from behind, and it's gonna
be one of the worst super Bowls of our modern day.
This is actually gonna be an exciting super Bowl to watch.
None of my team's obviously, you know like, but still
(44:55):
this is it's the error. It's the young gun that
is going to be the face of the inn fell
versus the guy that's been there and just done it.
Here after here after here, it's the it's the mantel,
It's the passing of the torch. Is the torch ready
to be heard? The show. I don't know if you
I don't know if you're saying that, just going with
(45:16):
your talking to the big show. Tom Brady. Tom Brady
is the San Antonio Spurs every single year, every single year.
You want to say they're done, They're done. They can't
keep doing it. They can't keep doing it, and they
can keep doing it. So he keep doing but right,
but that's what I'm saying, it's his time in yet
(45:37):
he hasn't doing it. That's what eventually you understand. Eventually
he's not going to write. And that's what I'm excited
to see. I'm excited to see Tom Brady unathletic, can't
move against twenty five year old spry Patrick Mahomes dodging
and weaving Tom Brady. There's a hand near him and
he goes down to you really think that Patrick Mahomes
(45:58):
is gonna be dodging and weaving for a long for
for much longer time. How how long? At least ten years?
Thirty five? Dodging and weaving. Have you not seen Cam Newton?
He was a hell of a dodger and weaver. Have
you not seen Jameis Winston? He was a hell of
a dodging weaver, Jamis Winson. Have you not seen what
was that guy's name? Robert Griffin the third? He was
(46:21):
a bobber and weaver. Incorrect. Cam Newton and Robert Grippin
the third were runners for Lamar Jackson. Get out of here.
He's not walk into you. Patrick Mahomes is not. He doesn't.
His legs aren't his biggest weapon. His arm is. Cam
Newton's legs were his biggest weapon. Robert Grippin the third
biggest weapon his legs. Lamar biggest weapon is his legs.
(46:42):
That's not Patrick Mahomes. He he has a Have you
seen his legs? Yeah? I watched the games. Do you
like his legs? Whatever? He's having good legs. Do you
see Patrick Mahomes run that often? No, because he's a
quarterback that can stand there and throw it. What do
you like better than mahomes his legs, his arms or
his arm his arm is both of them are just ridiculous.
(47:03):
You like one arm, well, I mean he only throws
it with one arm, so yes, nice, unbelievable. Did we
do we get last year's Super Bowl before the pandemic? Right? Yeah,
we did. It was in February and pandemic one until March.
There was people there, do you remember that? Yes, remember, coach,
there were a lot of people there. I remember remember.
(47:24):
Actually the Chiefs were down in the fourth quarter. Did
Jimmy Now are you guys ready for it? Oh? Yeah,
of course. The music, um, brother, time in Brother, And
here's a voicemail we got from Chris in Las Vegas. Sure,
(47:45):
Losers Nation coach. It was sent to the Big Show,
what's up, Coach, And we ended up diverting it to
the Little show so we could play that you're on, coach,
go ahead. That was it, coach. It was just a
voicemail and that was the end of the voicemail. It
was just four seconds again, Sure Loser's Nation, coach, Brother,
(48:07):
come on a little bit faster, what's up? Coach? Go ahead?
You're on? Don't me like you're all sad, like you
gotta be have some pep in your stuff. All right,
I'm gonna get right to it. This has brought to
you by Bubs. Go ahead, Bubbs. This segment brought to
you by the one and only Bubb's Barbecue. Boy, do
we have some specials on Sunday? One of our favorite
(48:29):
specials ever was a kicking ass burger. It's so loud,
we kick that ass fits. Welcome to the show, Bob,
turn him on, bub He's not what is my Combob?
At what point did you realize it was over? Um? Actually,
I just knew how tweeted well at nine to nothing,
(48:50):
I guess, so far, so good, right, based on you know,
playoff years past, I had to I had to be
kind of excited with the way the game started, even
though it's not really what I wanted to see it. Um,
I I look, I told you, I told you last week.
I didn't think the Bills were gonna beat the Chiefs.
I thought we beat the toughest team in the playoffs
a week before. I thought the Browns were gonna be
a stiffer opponent for the Chiefs. And uh, I just
(49:13):
I'm still rocking the child from last night. But yeah, yeah,
uh so yeah, I just my my words, as you know,
as sort of losers nation has has come to find
my my words rang true again, Bob. Yeah. One, when
the Bill settled for a field goal at the end
of the first half, you had good. Can't score field
goals against that offense, you can't, Like you're on the
(49:34):
three yard line, like what are you doing? I had
to consider that a win, real talk, anytime you can
any time the Bills can drive down like that, and
then they just settled for I mean it was just like, Okay,
we're good with the field goal, like the coach has
to know. I understand the fifty yard field goals because
you're not. But when you're on the three yard line
against the Chiefs, that just I mean there's speed everywhere.
They have talented every offensive position. You can't settle and
(49:55):
you did. And the repect the fourth and one at
midfield though, because they had is rocking Man that first
position for the Bills. I mean they had big balls then,
But then what happens when you're on the three yard line?
Why don't you have balls? Then? I agree with you,
but I think they're I guess, yes, I agree with
you because the Chiefs are getting the ball coming out
of half, so it's not like you're going into half.
(50:17):
You kicked the field goal, then you get the ball,
you can go down to score touchdown. You got to
score the touchdown there because you gotta go out on defense.
I don't think it's arrogant to say the Chiefs are
going to score. I mean, they're going to score a touchdown,
so you need that. You have to try to score too.
I mean, yes, your defense is more than I could
going to get a stop once in a while. I'm
not saying the Chiefs are invincible, but just like you
guys are. I heard you guys talking earlier, you know,
(50:38):
on on the far far listen to me the Packers
years ago. Yeah, that's what I was listening to. Too
many damn quarterbacks. But I thought I thought that I
thought the Packers made the wrong decision. You know. You know,
do you really think you're gonna get the ball back
against Tom Brady? Yeah? I mean, I just again, I'm
not the coach. You do your thing. You know. It's crazy.
(51:00):
Is this video of bub pregame? Is it worth playing?
Because he said, no, pucker here bub seconds nothing crazy? Okay,
here you go here's bub hopefully no swear words, no nation,
I'm not pucker right, Chris, Tara, Travis, we ain't fucker
(51:21):
boys about them Super Bowl champions Chiefs running back. I
was I was putting to the artwork, artwork on the
wall I had. Who were the names you shouted out? Cars,
Chris Jones, Tyranne Matthew and Travis Kelsey. Okay, that was
(51:45):
the best of Chiefs look this year. Yeah, but you
said that they're fun to watch, the fun to watch it.
Who's gonna stop they They're just just like everybody was
talking pre game, how do you game plan for something
that hasn't been seen yet? Meaning that Indie Reid, when
you're at the top of your game and not just
the Chiefs, when you get to that level of professional football,
(52:06):
that's what you should expect. Like you shouldn't be able
to game plan for what you're gonna be able to
see because you're not gonna see what you know. I mean,
teams that are gonna be hoisting the trophy are putting
something on the field every single week that they haven't
seen in weeks past. They're gonna see the same way
they line up, but when they snapped the ball, the
players are gonna be ran differently, and that underhand passed
(52:27):
from the homes is just getting sweeter and sweet. That's
how do you defend. I don't know why more teams
don't run it, because I'm like, it's impossible. Your quarterback
takes two steps to the right, everybody shifts and you
just toss it back and you have that speed. And
I think they're just taking advantage of what they have
on the field. And just I mean, whether injuries or not.
(52:48):
I mean, I mean Bell didn't play. I don't know
why he didn't, but I think Williams stepped up. Look
at Williams. I mean, it was great to see lair back,
you know, but he wasn't a dominating force. Um, But
just good to have the guys on the field. We
have so many different weapons. I love to see how
the coaches put them out there, the way they strategize,
and it's just such a team. It's such a team
(53:08):
a team, but I mean, the Chiefs are such a team.
And I think Mast no, he just I think he
gave a lot of credit or credits due he said, guys,
everybody fired on all cylinders. I said, the coaches everybody
played their positions well. The coaches planned well and did
a great She tweeted well, I think she. I think
she was in under fifteen or twenty tweets a minute.
(53:30):
It was. It's a fun time and it's a fun
time to be a Chiefs fan. I still think it's
a fun time to be a Bills fan. I think
we I think we're gonna see. Man, I'm not gonna lose.
If my team lost, hey, more power to Bills team.
We did, your team would have lost, would have been
It's awful. But I'm not gonna get up here and
(53:50):
say we got beat by what. You know, if you
get beat, you get beat, man, shake your hand. I
think they wouldn't. Yeah, but did you did you think?
What do you think as a fan when you watch others,
When you watch other other games and then you watch
the Chiefs, whether it be on TV or you're there,
you feel a difference. Like for that to be whatever
it was, capacity it makes you feel good as a
(54:11):
fan to know, and the Chiefs on the field have
to feel good the fans. Yeah, the twelfth Man in Seattle,
Sure it may play a part, but man, the feat no,
But I'm saying Yeah, they go back and forth about
talking who's the proudest and loudest fan base. The fans
make a difference, and I think Josh Allen would if
you asked him. You may not want to ask him today.
But I don't know what it's like, I said Friday,
(54:33):
He's probably never experienced anything like that that is a
hostile environment. He was good point, Guys. I'm sorry I didn't.
It's just a fun it's a fun place. And I
have you Super Bowl tickets? Yep, how much? I got
(54:53):
five on it, brother, which brings it down to about
eight ft excuse me, five another eight thou some fifty one?
I got five on it, so I need about eighty
five forty thousand dollars. Yeah, but bro, you're up there
with the disciples. Man, I don't know how high are
you even I can't afford super That's not a part
of that's not it's ridiculous. It would you sell your
(55:16):
body for eight thousand? Damn broad sell half of which
i'd you rocket, but I give some of it up,
don't give away the good half. But it's just like,
would you consider me make my fingers, don't take your toes,
But would you consider taking a little part time job
at the stadium just to be in there. But oh yeah,
sell some cokes marking this way. Absolutely? Uh wat just fine.
(55:40):
I cannot believe do actually do real life fans actually
have that money or is that just people that are
in suites or that are just kidding? But Ben Tampa right,
that is home field advantage. Yeah, And I was reading
this because I was curious last night. Um, I didn't
(56:01):
know this so before I opened my mouth on Twitter
when they kept saying at home field now given a
home field for the Tampa when they say at home game,
I didn't realize, and I didn't know if you did.
I didn't know that it switched back between a f
C and NFC. Just it just does it. That's not
it doesn't depend on who finishes, what, where, when and
how good observation. So next year will be the a
f C home team for the Super Bowl no matter
(56:21):
who wins, and the NFC what they were saying is
home field is it's the first time that the no,
I understand what. I understand what you're saying, but the
actual regardless of where the venue is. I was trying
to figure out who is the home team for the
Super Bowl any time during the season makes him the
home team, not the home stadium is every year that
(56:43):
they he found out they alternate an NFC's teams home
and the But now, so I don't know, No, I
don't necessarily mean the stadium. I mean the state the
home team. Do you know the home team represents a
uniform and who okay, okay, I see what you're saying.
So I didn't know what the rules were on. So
he's saying that one year, the a f C gets
(57:04):
decide if they're going to wear their home uniforms, so
they get to pick which uniform they wear because they're
the home team. So not only are the are the
Buccaneers the home team like the home stadium, they're also
they're also the actual home team regards. Now, do you
think it's an advantage that they get to sleep in
their own beds and they don't have to go anywhere.
(57:25):
I mean, I think, yeah, it's all an advantage. But
with him, I'm asking, I don't know, but I think
it's an advantage of the Chiefs that they've been to
the Super Bowl before that most of the Buccaneers have
not been to a Super Bowl. It's an advantage to
the Chiefs that they had that they eat Tampa Bay Wings.
I mean, what the hell are you talking. Let's be honest, though,
is there is the stadium? The super Bowl is the stadium.
I think it might be an advantage in any other
(57:47):
year based on this year in the pandemic and everything's
going pandemic. I think the only manage the only advantages
for Mo, Mo Mo on Tampa motem Okay, how exciting
is it for Mo? And first of all, congratulations to
my bucks. You get to play in a super Bowl
(58:07):
in your own stadium and nothing better next week. It
is a full party. So if y'all losers coming in town,
hit your boy up, you know you might can have
a bud light together or put a piece of meat
on the grill. You never know how we do it,
but I gotta say, boy, I don't understand how the
hell you go for three when you're down eight. That's
just stupid. I appreciate you to a packers, I appreciate
(58:30):
you because Kevin Cash did the same damn thing to us,
and alright, he was gonna Tampa everyone. That's one of
our very diehard store losers. Fan Moe and Tampa love
the dude. That's his video he posted on Twitter. Right
he said the bud lights and meat are on him.
(58:51):
Is how how well connected are you there in Tampa?
But I mean he is the Malman, so he has
to know a lot of people and addresses you know there.
He knows where Brady lives, he knows where gronkles. He
delivers there all their mail. What if Bubb takes him
up on the offer, goes and sleeps with him for
two weeks? Would you? Would you sleep in mow and
Tampa's bad? Got a couch? Bro? Like, I don't think
(59:17):
about it, but I want to go to the game? Man? No, No,
I mean it's it's a keen size bed. He just
doesn't have an extra room so he Yeah, you're gonna
be walking bow legged, Bubb, but you'll get to go
to the game, all right, Hey bub He congratulations gratulation man, Man,
I can't wait. It's a great yeah. I mean, barring injury,
(59:38):
my homes just just he's just good and what it's
time to be a football fan. I mean, I know,
I mean hopefully it's gonna be an exciting super Bowl.
I mean, we all want to get super Bowl that's
gonna be ups because Mahomes, like you just want to
argue it's gonna be a damn good football game. It's Mahomes.
It's it's just like, what's that last night? And he said,
(01:00:00):
it's the goat. You know what a baby goat is? Uh,
baby goat is a kid. So it's the goat against
the kid. I learned that from nature. Damas last he
he really wasn't gonna argue with you. I'm gonna argue
with you. He really wasn't. It's easier to be it's
a lot. It's really easy to be excited because you
have my home. So football is great right now. But
it is going to be a good super Bowl, Like
(01:00:21):
this is so exciting. The guy that's going to be
the face of the NFL that against the guy that
has been the face. I mean, you got the greatest
quarterback of all time. Any arguments he has the greatest
quarterback of all times. Bill Belichick feeling right now like crap,
I don't know him up and says, no, hey, congrats.
I don't know the relationship, but I mean, you gotta
be a just guess obviously we don't know the relations
(01:00:43):
but he's a winner. So is he called? Is he
texting center? Is not on at the battle Jack? I
think he texted Thomas said hey man, good work, congratulations.
I think the professional Deman and him did, probably, But
I don't mean he's too much of a winner. Dude,
You're but hur right, Like you don't want to see
your quarterback leave your team and immediately go to the
imposing conference and represent them in the I mean at
home Freyjohn, Like I don't know as a Chiefs fan, though,
(01:01:06):
I am excited because Super Bowl fifty five is my
my overtime, like he's my overtime from three years ago.
I get to see the greatest against my quarterback. I'm excited.
I get to say. I'm not complaining. I'm just saying
I didn't get I get to see the greatest again,
like I was at that game and it just end.
I want to see some more. I'm I'm looking forward
to it, win or lose. Like at some point Brady
(01:01:29):
is gonna be done playing football and he's not right now,
and I get the chance to like, I'm pumped. I'm
just gonna play in the super Bowl, and that means
he'll be played in eight percent of the super Bowls
ever played and Patrick was in kindergarten? Is that a meme?
How crazy is that? Hey, bub, congratulations, we're all happy
for you, but I appreciate it. Yeah, uh sound guy,
(01:01:49):
thank you? He brought to Bob side. Who do we play?
I don't even really know. I won't play the bucks.
I guess, well, who gives up? Come on night, get
you some stuff unless you're about pirate, no food for you.
Let's go Ksey. Oh yeah, at a good point? What
(01:02:14):
right I need to have? You? Pulled that up? The
coach k clip when he's a little jerk coach red
an hour. That's what we can talk about tomorrow. Save it.
Let's save it rush because I think it could get
a good ten twenty minutes. I mean I definitely have
a take on it. I have a hot take. It'll
be a little it'll be a little bit tempered off.
We'll start tomorrow, we'll start Wednesday. Show on. That'll be
(01:02:36):
a little dated, but who caress the it's a podcast.
Everything we talk about dated. We should have done this
podcast last night. The games we were talking about happening
a day ago. Okay, okay, okay, it's just and you
know the sad thing. I thought, if if Casey doesn't
keep winning, Bubbs never gets on the show again, that
that's a sad thing. I'm still gonna keep winning. They
thank They're gonna be in the mix for years to come.
(01:02:58):
With Patrick Mahomes, it's just because of Kansas City success.
Pitts has a spot on the show. If they don't
keep winning, He's never on the podcast to talk Kansas basketball.
But the Oils end up being a good team in
the next twenty guys. That just came to me and
it made me sad. Okay, I'm sorry, it's okay, I'll
(01:03:18):
be all right, all done. Yeah, Tom Brady, I mean here, coach,
just take him out of how amazing has our life
been that we've seen the greatest to ever play basketball,
the greatest ever. That's really made my life great. Yeah,
those are the reasons why my life is just amazing. Coach. Yes,
(01:03:38):
you've seen the greatest coaches in sports. You've seen Bill Belichick,
greatest NFL coach, Nick Saban, Nick Saban, greatest, greatest college
football coach. I would the greatest NBA coach. I would
have preferred to see Bradshaw. That was in Montana would
have been fun, but he wasn't the greatest of all time.
(01:03:59):
Joe name is can you imagine? Not the greatest of
all time? All right, let's get out of here, all right,
goodbye everybody, thanks for listening. Goodbye, coach. Hey, I hope
this loads. Why I mean, USC couldn't load, so I
hope this okay. Coach joke on the way out. M
