Speaker 1 (00:00):
Yeah, So I met this girl, Emily. I met her
on a dating app and uh, you know, it was
her a picture that really got me like, she's she's
very very pretty. But after we started talking, it ends
up being like so much more than that, because she's
you know, she's funny, she's sweet, she's very genuine and
I like that.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
It's hard to find that online.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
And so our first date we went to a dinner
in a movie and kind of you know, kicked it
off from there.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
We've been hanging out a lot the past couple of months.
We talked in text all the time.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
It isn't moving like slow, but it's not fast.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
Have you formally asked her like, hey, are we a thing?
You know that cannot to sound corny, but like, does
anybody set uh, you know, kind of set it up,
like are we something?

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Are we?

Speaker 1 (00:46):
I think it's like continuated, but I haven't been I'll
admit I wasn't like man enough to just say, you know,
can we define this? But you got to always be
careful in the beginning, you.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
Know, sure, but you're at the point now where you
want to do this why just because obviously you like her,
but this is kind of a bold move doing it
on the radio. So you don't have too much obviously,
you don't have too much fear that'll go wrong.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
Right, I mean I don't think it'll go wrong. But like,
we had a dinner and I met her, like her
her sister and her dad, and her dad was giving.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Me like this tough guy vibe.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
And and he like kind of grilled.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
Me a lot.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
I don't know what I'm doing with.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
My life, so I don't know if she was trying.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
To figure out stuff about me through him. But ever
since that dinner, it's just been like she's ducking me
a little bit. I'm sorry, he's ducking me, like just
dodging me a yeah, yeah, that's what I hear.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
So there has been a little change here, all right.
So you want us to call her dad, right, Okay?

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I think that's that's the point.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
I think she would like for me to.

Speaker 5 (01:59):
Speak to her father to get Emily on the phone
with you next, Okay.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
Okay, cool, Yeah, Hello morning Emily. Yeah, Hi, it's Chrissy.
You ready for the uh little thing I got for you?

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (02:14):
I'm really what are we doing?

Speaker 5 (02:16):
Well?

Speaker 3 (02:17):
You and I aren't doing a whole lot, but you
and somebody else maybe we hope that sounds weird. But anyway,
somebody else is on the phone right now that wants
to chime in real quick, So come on and say.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Hi, a am, it's Logan.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Good morning.

Speaker 6 (02:30):
Wait a minute, you're are you? You called?

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Are you? Wait?

Speaker 6 (02:35):
How did you get the rat? Did the radio station
call you or.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Did you call that?

Speaker 1 (02:39):
I called? I called them to call you.

Speaker 6 (02:42):
Oh, oh my gosh, this is this is friend zone?

Speaker 5 (02:47):
Well, well you ever know could mean?

Speaker 1 (02:50):
Yeah, it is, it's friend zoned.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (02:54):
Oh oh my god, I cannot believe Logan, Oh.

Speaker 5 (02:59):
My god, what what?

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Well, what's the problem?

Speaker 6 (03:03):
Okay, okay, so you you called K one or two
because you think you're being friend zoned and you want
to be you want to be more than that, right, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
I mean I don't know what happened.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Like I thought we were well passions.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
Being friends, and then you know, we go to dinner
with your with your family, which is a huge step,
and then like all of a sudden, I don't hear anything.
It's like like, you know, a giant step forward, and
I'm like, thirty backs. Did I say something wrong?

Speaker 6 (03:33):
No? No, you didn't say anything. Wrong to me.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
But what do you mean is there something that I said?

Speaker 6 (03:40):
Or yeah, yeah, what you said to my sister? Do
you remember?

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Uh?

Speaker 5 (03:47):
Sure?

Speaker 6 (03:47):
Just in general, like yeah, I mean no, I don't.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
I don't really, I mean I barely.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
I don't.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Yeah, I don't. I don't know anything about your sister.
I just met her and I said, was it a
joke about her looking old? I'm sorry about that.

Speaker 6 (04:02):
Yeah, Well, that's a good thing to apologize for, because
you don't really like that's not funny. You never pretend
like someone looks older than they are. I mean, if
somebody did that to me, I would like probably slap them.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
But that's that's.

Speaker 6 (04:15):
Not what I'm talking about. Logan, you met me on
a dating app?

Speaker 1 (04:19):
Right, yeah?

Speaker 4 (04:22):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (04:22):
So did you did you message anyone else? You know,
when you're on that app while you were messaging and
talking to me?

Speaker 1 (04:32):
I don't think so.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
No, I don't really, I don't remember people a message.

Speaker 6 (04:38):
You don't remember? You really do have no memory?

Speaker 1 (04:42):
I'm being yeah, I'm being honest. I don't think I did.
I would I would have said I'm on the radio.
I would have said it.

Speaker 5 (04:46):
Now was that I was just wondering?

Speaker 6 (04:51):
No, I mean I started talking and I just forgot familiar.
My sister didn't look especially familiar to you.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Logan, No, I mean she looked like you that that
was familiar.

Speaker 6 (05:04):
Yeah, she looks so much. Likely that maybe maybe he
thought she was me because you messaged her on the
app the exact same message. Tasted it to that throught
you like messaged me, and then you messaged her the
same exact line, like something about you know, how could

(05:24):
we be single? Or something like that. Did do you
see you don't remember.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
That your sister? No, I don't remember that.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
Yeah, she read did you were with with Emily and
her sister and her dad?

Speaker 5 (05:41):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (05:45):
I mean I guess maybe that was his like ideal scenario,
that's dating both of us at the same time.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
I don't know. I don't know what happened.

Speaker 5 (05:53):
Your sister said something to you, Emily and me? How
what what? Obviously she did right? What happened? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (05:58):
She?

Speaker 6 (05:59):
I mean she knew the moment she saw him, showed
me and she showed me the methods.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
Okay, so you guys like really went to the bathroom
shared swaped some stories there.

Speaker 5 (06:10):
That's where things got a little cold.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
Okay, Well, I mean look I understand, but I had
no idea who you or she was when I messaged
to both of you, So I don't really think that's fair.
I messaged her once, uh, we didn't start talking, she
didn't respond, and then I started talking to you and
focused all my time on you, like nothing happened. It's

(06:32):
an app.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
That's how apps work.

Speaker 6 (06:34):
It's just gross to me, like you could have what
if I hadn't responded and she did, and then you
could just be dating her. It's just it's weirding me.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Out, I guess. But there's like, there are so many
hypotheticals that could happen in any situation. I don't really
see the point.

Speaker 5 (06:50):
You kind of you wrote the exact same thing to both.

Speaker 6 (06:54):
Line that clearly works.

Speaker 5 (06:55):
Yeah, well there is that, But tell me what the
line is.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
I haven't married for a long time, but if the
missus every now and then.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
Are you not flattered? I think you you know, runs
in the family. I don't know what to tell you.

Speaker 5 (07:05):
I guess, all right, So where are we going? Guys?
We're not doing dinner?

Speaker 1 (07:12):
Are we? Like?

Speaker 6 (07:14):
I don't, I just yeah, I can't get past it.
I'm sorry, Like I really, I really am really skeeped
out by It's yeah, no.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
Dinner with Emily, no dinner with her sister, but I'm
gonna get you hooked up with her dad.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Okay, we're great, fantastic, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
Glad, everyone can leave it. Maybe a little bit of
a giggle after that. That sounded like it was a
tad awkward.
