Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to another episode of I Tell You What Dubbs Yo.
Can I ask you what's for breakfast today? What did
you get out of the vending machine?
Speaker 2 (00:09):
I don't have anything. Oh h A couple of butts.
Speaker 1 (00:13):
Maybe we talked yesterday, and I love what you brought
up yesterday, and it's all on the Chris Caring Company podcasting,
on our Facebook page, all of our socials. Yesterday you
talked about I'll let you break it up. I mean,
if you're comfortable talking about it with the early crowd.
I assume you would. We talked about everything with the
early crowd, but go ahead.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
Yeah, So yesterday I talked about how I've been seeing
a therapist for since the end of last year because
both my parents passed away before I was thirty, and
being a new dad and all the uh for for
I guess, frustrations with her being a premium and we
wanted her to eat, and thinking that I was doing
something wrong, and it all just built up till it
(00:52):
exploded like a volcano.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
And it's good that you're going in seeking helpful We
love that, and just as much, I mean the fact
that you're getting healthy as a result of therapy we
love the fact that you are talking about it on
the air, which encourages a lot of and that this
sounds sexist, but there's truth to this way. More men
than women will not seek help for that, for whatever
(01:15):
the reason is.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
They just I will say I had a lot of
guys reach out yesterday and had a similar story and
thank me for telling my story.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
Yeah good.
Speaker 4 (01:23):
I think that there are a lot of guys out
there that go through similar struggles, but there's that like, oh,
I'm a tough guy kind of energy where they feel
like they shouldn't need to go and talk to somebody,
but they do benefit from it.
Speaker 1 (01:35):
Wrapping up to the intro of this conversation, you really
want to be there for your daughter. You don't want
to You don't want to.
Speaker 3 (01:45):
Leave this world as early as your parents did, because
your parents did when they were they were young, I mean,
and that's tragic.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
You want to see all the things with your daughter, Lena,
and all the things that you want to see grandchildren
that they could didn't see, right, all of those things.
Speaker 3 (02:03):
And to.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
Merge this conversation back to the original part and to
light in the room, just a tad eating Cheetos every
morning and potato chips from the n Dude every morning,
I look over there, if you I'm just saying, and
I mean this lovingly.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
You know, I love you.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
You're my little ubbit aws you are, but I love
dude you you.
Speaker 3 (02:27):
It's like this is a two edged sword here. You
are really you know you. I want you around for
this show too.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
You just kind of started with us, and you want
to be around for your child much longer than your
parents were for you.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
But you gotta you got it. It starts with you
got to eat a little better.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
Hey, yesterday I thought I did a great job. I
had little Matsarella balls. I had.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
There's a refrigerator in the.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
Does beef jerky and.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
Okay, it's still processed stuff. But you still I see
you get up and go out, and then I watch
you come back.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
And this has been for by the way, I mean,
you've worked here for many years.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
For a while.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
Yeah, And I look over and I always see this
this bag and he's dipping in and he's always got
like the chip of the week, and then the next
hour he gets hungry again, and then he's got like
another chip of the week, and then there's a pop
tart or something end up going. I love you dearly
and you know that, and we talk. We are like family.
I mean we You and I have merged and have
(03:34):
become very close friends in a very short period of
time since you started here years ago. And as someone
that wants to live for a long time and be
there for his daughter and not leave this planet as
early as as his parents, you gotta start making the
first move.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
I'm not picking on you. I'm trying to help you. Dude.
Try a banana, like, try something.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
Wait till you see what I bring in the next week.
Next week, one day starts it, Monday starts the health kick.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
What kind of jerky you're going to bring in? I'm not.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
I'm bringing banana, two hard boiled eggs, and protein shake.
Speaker 3 (04:09):
No no, no, no, no, no, no no, you're doing it,
don't you see.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
You're gonna jump go in and then you're gonna fall
off the wagon right away. Don't make this too hard
on yourself. Have a hard boiled egg, have a banana,
have a bag of LA's chips or something. Well, you
got to kind of ease into.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
It, yourself off slowly.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
Yeah, and then their next no, you don't do that's
how you fall that so you don't want to do
that works for some people, It does work for a
lot of people.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
I think it works for me.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
I have Hey did dud dude? It's lent. It's lent now? Right?
Speaker 2 (04:40):
Oh? Yes, even better?
Speaker 3 (04:42):
Yeah he butchered it yesterday? Is having chips?
Speaker 4 (04:46):
I mean an excuse to just I don't know, like
you can still.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
I always tried giving up swearing for lent.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
And today we start today? Then we start today.
Speaker 3 (04:55):
Hold on, what did you get already? Did you already
get something? Because I'll eat them if you got them.
I've got a whole bag full of stuff over there?
What's that?
Speaker 2 (05:03):
I got nothing? I mean, do you think the vending
machine missed me for six.
Speaker 3 (05:12):
You know what's funny. What's funny is over the course
of the next weeks, months, or whatever, all of a sudden,
we're going to see that guy pulling two vending machines
out on Dolly's because Doves isn't supporting the vending machine.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
It's gonna be like, well, we went out of business.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
Yeah, I lost my job because of you people getting
healthy and stuff. But back to the you know, the
real deal in the meat of the conversation. It is
cool that you're talking about the therapy that you're getting in.
Speaker 3 (05:39):
By the way, is this something that you do?
Speaker 1 (05:41):
You have the choice, I know, but like, and maybe
you're a little early in the game, you've been doing
it for weeks. Is this something that like you do?
And I'm not trying to speak like an idiot, because
I'll be honest with you. I'm all for it, but
I haven't done it, Like, do you do it your
whole life?
Speaker 3 (05:54):
No? Is it like a sea glue tide, where once
you do it like ozembic, once you do it, you
do it forever?
Speaker 2 (05:59):
Or is it like you can do it as long
as you want to do it. You can do it
as long as you want to do it. He told
me there's different. He has clients that go every week,
every two weeks, every month, once a year, whenever you
feel like you need it.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
I have friends that goll that have really there's no
issues with their life. They just go to kunt of
keep their life that way.
Speaker 4 (06:18):
Yeah, it's nice. I think to just have somebody who
is dedicated to talking with you and talking things through
with you. I think it's just really really nice.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
If you guys get the chance even maybe before we
get the show really going here after six go check

don't want to give away the whole conversation because it

that we had.
Speaker 3 (06:59):
Yes today, I'll leave it for I'm gonna leave.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
It for because the funniest part is when I found
out who you're talking to. And I'm gonna leave that
for those that would go venture into the podcast and
venture into our social accounts and uh, look for yourself,
because who Dubbs is talking to is priceless.
Speaker 2 (07:18):
Over the line, if we hung out, nobody gets that
it's a great fit.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
You do already kind of. I mean, you're paying this person.
It just the match could not be better. It just
doesn't get it better than that.
Speaker 4 (07:32):
Yeah, I feel like people will search for a long
time to find the right match, the right therapist that
sticks with them.
Speaker 3 (07:38):
But you nailed it.
